Abstract:
The history of Dutch Protestant missionaries Formosa in the seventeenth century made a great contribution to the Christian spread in Asia. The beginning of the 1620s was the starting point of the establishment of the churches in Formosa. This study focuses on the Christian conversion in Formosa, which is based on the Dutch published archives and current research. The research aims to describe the process of Christian propagation in this area. Methodologically, the book “The Formosan Encounter. Notes on Formosa’s Aboriginal Society: A Selection of Documents from Dutch Archival Sources, I: 1623-1635; II: 1636-1645; and III: 1646-1654 that published in two languages, Dutch, and English” will be used as the main source in which qualitative approach is used to collect the primary and secondary data for analyzing this article. As a result, this research comes to the following conclusions, such as the missionaries used the educational method as a foundation for propagation and the result of giving the education was opposed by the Formosan’s old religion.

There have been few studies on the Key Success Factors (KSF) of TV shopping industry in both China and Taiwan. Moreover, the market growth potential and size across the Formosa Strait are significant. Using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) in Export Choice (EC) software, we find that the top ten KSF in the TV shopping industry across the Formosa Strait are somewhat different in order of importance and in the content. Managers in Taiwan consider watching habit, income, age, occupation, product positioning strategy, channel releasing policy, education, differential pricing, target product strategy and strategic sensitivity as the top ten KSF in order of importance. Meanwhile, managers in China consider domestic economic development, income, average domestic income, business philosophy, channel releasing policy, watching habit, product positioning strategy, related broadcasting laws, age, and occupation as the top ten KSF in order of importance.

Abstract:
This study employed Kolb's experiential learning model-specific experiences, observations of reflections, abstract conceptualization, and experiment-action in activities to serve as the theoretical basis for popular science education planning. It designed the six activity themes of “Knowledge of the Ocean, Easy to Know, See the Large from the Small, Challenge of Vessel Knowledge, Do It Yourself, and Small Book”, with the National Science and Technology Museum (NSTM) as the research site. A questionnaire survey was distributed to 660 visitors who participated in “Large Ship! Formosa! Popular Science Education” to understand their satisfaction and preferences of the activities. The findings of the study suggest that participants were highly satisfied with the activity theme content, learning effects, and the environment and equipment. They also preferred hands-on types of activities. Particularly, “fun and interesting” and “broadening knowledge” are important factors influencing participants' willingness of participation. Finally, the results can be provided to educators, practitioners, and administrators for future promotion of popular science education.

O texto apresenta alguns resultados de uma investigação recentemente concluída que, genericamente, se inscreve nos complexos processos de (multi)regulação da educação. O estudo desenvolveu-se num concelho do norte de Portugal (convencionalmente designado Vila Formosa), circunscrevendo-se às escolas com oferta de ensino secundário. A análise dos dados sugere que, na topografia complexa dos processos de (multi)regulação do campo escolar, a combinação de medidas de política educativa com recursos e cursos de acção que as diferentes escolas e as diversas categorias de famílias e jovens detêm e adoptam constituem uma tríade de fontes de dinâmicas, umas vezes convergentes, outras vezes em tensão que, por seus efeitos sociológicos cumulativos, geram a reordenação do campo de lutas concorrenciais em torno da educação, lutas essas que parecem penalizar sobretudo as famílias que já sofrem de outras desvantagens.

This paper shows the impact experienced by the creation of a community radio station. We reduce some aspects related to the production of bilingual programmes. The major part of this production was under-taken by young people of the wichi community. This article synthesises the most important aspects related to the production of the bilingual programmes. By means of this participative process, we facilitate the ability of the aborigenes to develop their identity and the intercultural dialogue of great importance in the context of globalisation. El artículo presenta algunos de los impactos producidos por la experiencia de creación de una radio comunitaria wichí, en Formosa (Argentina). Se sintetizan aspectos relacionados con la producción radiofónica bilingüe protagonizada por los jóvenes wichí. Se abordan los modos en que un medio comunitario, como espacio de comunicación, provoca procesos relacionados con las identidades aborígenes y con el diálogo intercultural, de singular significación en tiempos de globalización.

Abstract:
As game-based learning continues to draw attention, students’ perceptions toward classroom activities are vital in influencing the quality of learning. This study used the social cognitive theory to show the perception traits of learning and playing in game-based environments and for students to identify their self-efficacy toward game-based learning by different trait groups. The game Formosa Hope was used in an experiment with 362 fifth- and sixth-grade students at ages 11 to 12 years as participants. Three perception traits were identified through a two-step cluster analysis: I—strong perceptions of learning and playing, II—moderate perceptions of learning and playing, and III—strong perception of playing but weak perception of learning. This study showed that regardless of trait type, students demonstrated positive self-efficacy, with those with Trait I having significantly higher self-efficacy than those with Traits II and III, indicating that students’ positive perceptions of learning and playing are essential in prompting self-efficacy in game-based learning.

Izobraževanje starejših je najhitreje rastoče področje v sklopu vseživljenjskega učenja, zato je knjiga dobrodošla kot osvetlitev raziskovanja, oblikovanja politik in praks. Tako prakse kot politike se morajo namreč vzpostavljati v razmerju do novega pojava, zato sta hitro prenašanje spoznanj ter povezovanje med raziskovanjem, politiko in prakso zelo dobrodošli. Izobraževanje starejših se je kot organizirana dejavnost pojavilo šele v 50. letih prejšnjega stoletja v ZDA, kot so zapisali avtorji, in je področje, ki bo v prihodnjih desetletjih ob naraščanju števila starejših zahtevalo razvoj posameznih specialističnih in subspecialističnih polj znanja.

It aims to discover the reasons and the significance of the problem.Design/methodology/approachThe author works on the reports and correspondence of Jean de Guébriant, apostolic visitor of China missions in 1919–1920. He received some reports from the Dominican Prefect Apostolic of Formosa, Clemente Fernandez.FindingsThe author discovers a severe problem of authority brought about some conflicts between the Prefect Apostolic Clemente Fernandez, o.p. and some Dominican missionaries in the mission, conflicts reflecting ambiguous status of this prefecture apostolic with regard to not only the Dominican Provincia del Santo Rosario, headquarters of Dominican missions in East Asia, but also the Dominican apostolic vicariate of Southern Fujian in China, and even the Japanese Catholic church, because Taiwan had been conceded to the Japanese empire since 1895 until 1945.Research limitations/implicationsThe author has not yet consulted the archives in Propaganda Fide in Vatican circle and in Dominican archives. Still, some questions remain unanswered for lack of related archives. This study calls for further works in the future.Originality/valueVery few relevant studies are found on the Dominican mission in Taiwan during 1860–1949. This study reveals a serious problem on the structure of Catholic mission due to an unclear status of Taiwan. It reflects, in fact, the delicate situation in ecclesial and political aspects between China, Japan and Spanish missions in Manila, Philippines.

Although the survival rate of burn patients in the Formosa Fun Coast Explosion disaster increased significantly, for patients facing long-term rehabilitation, there remained great stress. Therefore, the aim of this study was to explore the predictors of resilience among burn patients in this major disaster. We conducted a cross-sectional, descriptive study in a medical center in northern Taiwan, with a total of 30 burn patients enrolled. Patients’ demographics were collected, and the Resilience Scale and Perceived Stress Scale were administered. Multivariate statistical analysis by stepwise and linear regression was used to test these predictors of resilience. The results showed that perceived stress was the key predictor of resilience in the stepwise regression analysis and by adjusting variables including stress level, gender, and education level. These results indicate that the stress level of burn patients should be determined first to provide more targeted methods for reducing stress and improving resilience.

Abstract:
Introduction: Family planning is a program that contributes to the improvement of women's health by reducing maternal mortality, abortion, freedom of choice and empowerment of women, reduction of subsequent female fertility, and is a program that aims to inform the people through a set of actions and attitudes (clinics and health practices) to guide as to contraception. Methods: This research uses a qualitative and quantitative approach, descriptive and field, held in Formosa Public Health Center, Dili. Results and Discussion: The result reveals that women in the age group with the highest expression in this research is 20 to 24 years old, hold an educational level with higher education about 30.5%. Emphasizing that more than half of the participants reported that they do not have information and only 13.7% getting information by personal health professionals. Regarding knowledge, most of participants did not obtain information regarding family planning and more less 51.5% had reasons to adhere to family planning is to prevent pregnancy. Factors that influencing the decision of the participants, mostly (94.0%) did not mention any factor as its decision. In terms of the type of use, 63.6% prefer the injectable method and almost 66.7% lamented some side effects such as dizziness and headaches and menstrual disorders, although they continue to use after consultation to a doctor or midwife. Conclusion: Finally, the duration of use about one-third of participants used about a year and 28.8% are new customers.

We assessed the distribution and status of jaguar Panthera onca in the Argentine Chaco, one of the least known areas within its range. Current jaguar distribution in the Chaco encompasses parts of central and western Formosa, western Chaco, eastern Salta and north-eastern Santiago del Estero Provinces. Jaguar range was reduced following colonization of the semiarid Chaco even though there has been little deforestation. Jaguars have not been observed over the last 15 years in areas where colonization occurred more than 35 years ago, probably reflecting hunting pressure. Livestock predation is lower now than when the area was first settled in the 1920s. This may indicate low jaguar densities as the livestock management system has not changed. Local people, however, continue to hunt jaguars with the intention of exterminating them. Education, enforcing jaguar hunting laws, increasing control of poaching in protected areas, and creating more protected areas may be the most efficient strategies to preserve the jaguar population of the Argentine Chaco.

Abstract:
This study intends to investigate the Chinese language usage and communication requirements of Industrial Trainees, the difficulties they encountered, and the applicability of Diploma in Mandarin courses at PT Formosa Bag Indonesia to these requirements. The interviewees consist of 16 Mandarin diploma students in their last year who had recently finished their three months of industrial training at various companies make up the sample. The data was gathered use semi-structured interviews. The findings of the study demonstrated that Mandarin was not commonly used in companies and that all four linguistic skills were required to carry out a variety of tasks at work. The majority of trainees found it difficult to conduct briefings, respond to client concerns and complaints, negotiate a deal with clients face-to-face, deliver oral presentations, connect with other firms, set up the filing system, make flyers, brochures, posters, and advertisements, as well as prepare accounts. As a result, it is advised that the fundamental courses, particularly those pertaining to public speaking and interpersonal communication skills, prior to the students' internships being taught. The study's conclusions have some pedagogical repercussions. These data can be used to revise the curriculum for similar courses offered by higher education institutions. Program that complies with the current needs of the workforce and of education. Additionally, lecturers can reconsider how individual courses should be taught to accommodate students' requirements and let them engage in meaningful exploration learning through practical experience.

Abstract:
The research is concerned with the possibilities of unschooling in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland. It applies both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Using an open-ended questionnaire, it maps the opinions of 78 parents from Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland on the influence of the preferred methods and forms of homeschooling (unschooling, classical methods and forms) on the course and problems of the compulsory testing of a child in an umbrella school. Based on the research findings, it can be stated that the parents of homeschooled children perceive unschooling mainly as self-arranged education, the support of the child’s interests, and also complement it with other methods and forms of education. The problems during compulsory testing in an umbrella school, which were presented by the respondents, consisted firstly of subjectively negative evaluations of the course of the testing, statements concerning the respondents’ fear and descriptions of specific situations or the behaviour of the examiner. The research has also shown that the choice of the methods and forms of homeschooling does not affect whether the parents and children face more problems during the compulsory testing.

Abstract:
The United States had an inbuilt constituency in India, a constituency that had its origins in the pre-independent period. Although the British were under fire, they enjoyed a certain amount of respect for their commitment to justice and law. The Indian elites were the products of English education. All these resulted in a love-hate relationship between the Indians and the Anglo-Saxon groups in general. Besides, the amount of importance the Indian nationalist leaders gave to the mediatory role of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the liberal American Press in bringing about India's independence bears testimony to this formulation. Thus in 1941 when India won independence, the United States enjoyed considerable goodwill in India. The United States was willing and far abler than Stalin's Soviet Union to help in the economic betterment of India. The US launched the Point Four Programme, a politico-humanitarian package.1 Jawaharlal Nehru, the Prime Minister of India, was consciously warm towards it because, apart from other reasons, he found it good tactics to use against domestic communism, and the collapse of the Telengana rebellion in Southern India proved him right. During his first visit to the United States in 1949, Nehru and President Truman seemed to have achieved a reasonable desire of mutual sympathy in genera! outlook on. world affairs. What alienated India's diplomacy from that of the United States most was the difference in their views of the nature of Chinese Communist threat and what approaches could be made about it. The United States had not yet given in to Dulles's pactomania, nor had the dreadful McCarthy era started. Yet guided by their different experiences, the two countries began to choose their different paths which did not converge until the Communist Chinese massive invasion of India's north-eastern border in October 1962. So conflicting were the approaches of India and the United States that they found themselves ranged on opposite sides on many issues regarding China. This worked clearly to the disadvantage of both. The differences discouraged economic assistance to India while the United States lost the sympathy of the emerging Asian nations. My paper examines the various aspects of these Indo-American differences over Communist China in order to define the impact on their political relations. It establishes that the ‘China Question’—the non-recognition by the United States, non-admission to the United Nations, the status of Formosa, etc., created bitter differences between India and the United States till the China War of 1962. This provided cause for an unparalleled deepening of the Indo-US involvement.

Resources invested by successful companies all over the world rise year after year. According to statistics, costs for corporative education in USA raised 5% per year. All employed persons are obliged to spend some time in professional improvement. Somewhere it lasts a week, and elsewhere several weeks. Looking for educational perspectives requests thoughtful changes that have been occurring during the work as well as proper choice of the most convenient forms and methods of education. There are more and more analysts considering science and education to become crucial for contemporary corporation articulation. Having in mind some evaluations, even 60% of present jobs will disappear in a few years, and about 50% of employed personnel will be engaged in information. Accepting education as an activity shows very serious problem of making choices relating the correct form and method as well as optimal time for their implementation. Commonly, many resources offer positive opinion on all methods: oral teaching, presentation, role models, laboratory and practical work, texts, graphics, case studies, etc. Formulation of educational goals is what is relevant. A specific method, showing itself as the best for some case could be completely inadequate in others. Method should be determined by specific goals. Šio straipsnio tikslas – nustatyti pasirinktų lietuvių kalbos vienaskaitinių abstrakčiųjų daiktavardžių gramatinės formos leksikalizaciją, kuri yra susijusi su žodžių skaičiaus gramatinės formos pasikeitimu. Daroma prielaida, kad dėl skaičiaus gramatinės formos pasikeitimo, keičiasi ir leksinė reikšmė. Išsamiau aprašyti leksikalizuotus daiktavardžius, metodus, kaip atpažinti leksikalizaciją, aktualu, kadangi leksika yra greičiausiai kintantis kalbos sluoksnis, taigi pokyčius būtina fiksuoti, o žodynus atnaujinti, redaguoti, juo labiau kad ši analizė remiasi vartosenos pavyzdžiais iš tekstynų. Netermininės leksikos pavyzdžiai atrinkti iš Dabartinės lietuvių kalbos tekstyno (DLKT), Delfi.lt tekstyno (DT) ir internetinės Google paieškos. Nors tekstynų statistiniai duomenys parodė, kad tiriamų vienaskaitinių abstrakčiųjų daiktavardžių daugiskaitėjimo reiškinys nėra labai išplitęs, atlikus analizę matyti, kad daugiskaitėjančios leksemos įgauna naujų reikšmių (arba sememų). Vienos turi aukštą leksikalizacijos laipsnį, tokios leksemos galėtų būti pateikiamos atskirame daugiskaitinės lemos žodyniniame straipsnyje. Kitu atveju, kai daugiskaitos formų leksikalizacijos laipsnis yra žemas, jos nėra laikomos savarankiškais leksiniais vienetais. Termininės leksikos gramatinės formos leksikalizacija nustatyta remiantis Dabartinės lietuvių kalbos žodyne (DLKŽ) ir Lietuvos Respublikos terminų banke (TB) pateikiamomis reikšmėmis. Tyrimo rezultatai rodo, kad kasdienės kalbos žodžių perėjimą į specialios kalbos leksiką lemia terminizacija, tačiau yra ir tokių atvejų, kai tarp kasdienės kalbos žodžio ir termino reikšmių nėra ryškaus semantinio nuotolio, o tai leidžia kalbėti apie terminizacijos nebuvimą.

Therefore, Christian educational institutions must emphasis on spiritual development efforts in character education. Spiritual formation will be able to transform the inner life so as to form a Christ-like character.Abstrak. Istilah formasi rohani telah banyak digunakan dalam banyak konteks Kristen baik dalam lingkup keluarga, sekolah maupun gereja. Tinjauan pustaka ini akan fokus pada penjelasan mengenai konsep pendidikan karakter Kristen yang berbasiskan atas formasi rohani. Artikel ini menawarkan formasi rohani sebagai pendekatan yang lebih relevan untuk membangun karakter Kristen. Melalui kajian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa pendidikan karakter Kristen hanya dapat dicapai melalui penerapan formasi rohani baik secara individu maupun kelompok. Oleh karena itu, lembaga pendidikan Kristen harus lebih menitikberatkan upaya-upaya pembinaan rohani dalam pendidikan karakter. Formasi rohani akan mampu mentransformasi kehidupan batiniah sehingga membentuk karakter seperti Kristus.

Hal ini dapat menjadi bahan acuan atau rujukan untuk pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan tehnik pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunakan strategi siasat permukaan (surface strategy taxonomy) untuk menganalisis data. Strategi siasat permukaan terdiri dari penghilangan, penambahan, salah formasi, dan salah susun. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan terbesar menulis kalimat pada skripsi Mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris adalah penambahan dengan 81 kalimat. Kesalahan kedua adalah salah formasi dengan 30 kalimat. Kemudian, penghilangan dengan 19 kalimat. Dengan demikian kesalahan terkecil adalah salah susun dengan 17 kalimat.

Active breaks are a feasible and effective way to introduce motor competences into the learning process, addressing the physical, psycho-emotional, and social needs of students. However, the effect of active breaks on students' executive functions and motivation remains unclear. The aim of the study was to evaluate the impact of a co-designed and implemented program of eminently cooperative active breaks on executive function and motivational climate in pre-school and elementary school classrooms. The sample consisted of 24 teachers from a school in Zaragoza, Spain –age: 44.25 ± 10.52 years; teaching experience: 16 ± 9.87 years–. For four months, the collaborating teaching team was accompanied in the co-design of the active breaks program through training sessions and the creation of spaces for reflection among all the agents involved. Data collection was through discussion groups at the end of the program implementation. Subsequently, content analysis of the transcripts was carried out and the QSR-NVIVO 11 program was used to process the data. The results showed that teachers identify the cooperative active breaks as a tool to improve the motivational climate in the classroom and to work on the students' executive functions. Considering that participation in active breaks is safe, low cost, easy to learn and apply by teachers and effective in meeting the needs of students, teachers should be encouraged to implement this type of motor activities. Especially those that include cognitive engagement, a social component of cooperation, that cater to the enjoyment and motivation of students and encourage rethinking the presence we give to the body in the learning process and evolutionary development at these ages. Las cuñas motrices son una forma factible y eficaz de introducir el cuerpo en el proceso de aprendizaje, atendiendo las necesidades físicas, psico-emocionales y sociales del alumnado. Sin embargo, el efecto de las cuñas motrices en las funciones ejecutivas y la motivación del alumnado sigue sin estar claro. El objetivo del estudio es evaluar el impacto de un programa co-diseñado e implementado de cuñas motrices eminentemente cooperativas sobre las funciones ejecutivas y el clima motivacional en aulas de Educación Infantil y Primaria. La muestra estuvo formada por 24 docentes de un centro escolar perteneciente a la localidad de Zaragoza, España –edad: 44,25 ± 10,52 años; experiencia docente: 16 ± 9,87 años–. Durante cuatro meses se acompañó al equipo docente colaborador en el co-diseño del programa de cuñas motrices mediante sesiones formativas y la creación de espacios de reflexión entre todos los participantes. La recogida de datos fue a través de grupos de discusión al finalizar la puesta en práctica del programa. Posteriormente se realizó el análisis de contenido de las transcripciones y se empleó el programa QSR-NVIVO 11 para el tratamiento de los datos. Los resultados mostraron que los docentes identifican en las cuñas motrices cooperativas una herramienta para mejorar el clima motivacional de las aulas y para trabajar las funciones ejecutivas del alumnado. Considerando que la participación en cuñas motrices es segura, de bajo coste, fácil de aprender y de aplicar por el profesorado y eficaz para atender las necesidades del alumnado, se debería integrar en el día a día de los centros educativos Sobre todo aquellas que tengan implicación cognitiva, un componente social de cooperación, que atiendan el disfrute y motivación del alumnado y que ayuden a repensar la presencia que damos al cuerpo en el proceso de aprendizaje y desarrollo evolutivo en estas edades.

This research is motivated by the use of Iler leaves to make motifs using the eco print technique with the help of a mordant and fixator. The purpose of this study was to describe the direction of color, the clarity of the shape of the leaf motif, the color fastness to washing, the effect of mordant tunjung, and whiting on eco print results. This research is experimental research with the research object being primissima cotton material from ecoprints of Iler leaves using mordant tunjung, and whiting. The type of data in this study is primary data with data collection techniques using organoleptic tests with research instruments in the form of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used frequency percentages and data analysis using the SPSS (Statistical Product And Service Solution) version 29.0. The color direction produced by the Iler leaf ecoprint using mordant tunjung mordant produced a dark brown color towards black, and those using the whiting mordant produced a light brown color towards dark brown. The two types of mordant used in the Iler leaf eco print produce clear leaf motif shapes which are very clear, meaning that the shape of the leaf (leaf tip, leaf edge, and leaf base) and the arrangement of leaf veins (mother bones, branch bones, and leaf veins) are printed very clearly on cotton material. The color fastness to washing of Iler leaf ecoprint results on cotton using tunjung and whiting mordant in the third wash showed a slightly reduced color.Keywords: ecoprint, iler, mordant, color, primissima. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pemanfaatan daun Iler untuk membuat motif menggunakan teknik ecoprint dengan bantuan mordan dan fiksator. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan arah warna, kejelasan bentuk motif daun, ketahanan luntur warna terhadap pencucian dan pengaruh mordan tunjung, dan kapur sirih terhadap hasil ecoprint. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan objek penelitian berupa bahan katun primissima hasil ecoprint daun iler menggunakan mordan tunjung dan kapur sirih. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan uji organoleptik dengan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan persentase frekuensi dan analisis data menggunakan program SPSS (Statistical Product And Service Solution) Versi 29.0. Arah warna yang menggunakan mordan tunjung menghasilkan warna coklat tua mengarah ke hitam, serta yang menggunakan mordan kapur sirih menghasilkan warna coklat muda mengarah ke coklat tua. Kedua jenis mordan yang digunakan pada ecoprint daun iler menghasilkan kejelasan bentuk motif daun yang sangat jelas artinya bentuk daun (ujung daun, tepi daun dan pangkal daun) dan susunan tulang daun (ibu tulang, tulang cabang dan urat daun) tercetak sangat jelas pada bahan katun. Abstract:
Este artigo investigou a trajetória de vida esportiva das atletas da equipe de corrida de aventura (CA) Atenah, formada exclusivamente por mulheres. A CA é uma competição multiesportiva, formada por equipes mistas, com ao menos uma pessoa de gênero distinto dos demais membros. A pesquisa qualitativa de caráter descritivo consistiu em entrevista semiestruturada com cinco atletas da equipe Atenah. Observou-se que as atletas utilizam estratégias de “subversão” e “conservação”, segundo Bourdieu, e constituem “agências”, segundo a teoria de Dworkin e Messner. O fato de organizarem uma equipe exclusivamente feminina pode ser entendido como “estratégia de subversão” ou a constituição de “agência resistente”. Paradoxalmente, utilizaram “estratégias de conservação” para se manterem no esporte, configurando, assim, “agência reprodutiva”. Conclui-se que o apoio e incentivo da família foi fundamental para o sucesso das atletas, porém, o engajamento das mulheres na corrida de aventura pode ser ameaçado pelas instituições do casamento e da maternidade.

Abstract:
Purpose: The aim of the research is to show how effective the tools in the form of extracurricular forms of education oriented at development of key competences. Design/methodology/approach: The article presents case study of investment in key competences of school-age children. The results of evaluation studies compliment the experience of chosen out-od-school educational projects conducted in the district mostly active in the field of initiative realization. The author also mentions a problem of considering and fulfilling children’s special educational needs. Findings: In the educational projects implemented in Pomeranian Voivodeship, the main emphasis was placed on the development of key competences, mostly students, and to a lesser extent - teachers. The interest in particular competences varied (39-95%). Similarly, the effects of undertaken measures were assessed as their impact on the attitudes of students in selected areas. Research limitations/implications: Too little attention paid to the special needs of pupils. Evaluation of effectiveness referred to the influence of particular forms of stimulation on the student's attitude in selected aspects. It was impossible to clearly attribute the impact of the investment on the results of exams summarizing a given stage of learning. Practical implications: The results of the research can be used to change the guidelines for constructing further support programmes for educational projects. This refers to technical guidelines, i.e. the formula for verifying the effects and the substantive ones, i.e. The scope of support for schools and students. Social implications: The work points to the need to implement solutions allowing for greater social inclusion of children with special news, including work on social awareness in this area. Originality/value The article attempts to assess the effectiveness of investing in the development of human capital at the stage of school education through extracurricular educational projects. The analysis was multi-level, from the European background, through the regional approach in Poland, to case studies in selected local governments. The results of the research may serve to construct further pro-educational projects in the region

Abstract: This research is based on the thought of a saint, St. Benedict, contained in a rule made in the context of monastery, the Rule of St. Benedict. This rule has shaped the spiritual life of God's people for dozens of centuries. The strong emphasis on the balance of ora et labora, prayer and work, made this pattern relevant till date. This rule is also used as an approach to the forming of the patterns of spiritual formation in seminaries. Theological education is closely related to the growth of God's people. Thus, seminary as one model of theological education needs to have a good pattern related to the spiritual formation of everyone in it. The condition of seminaries in the present era with a tendency to show more attention to academic formation than to spiritual formation can cause imbalance in the life of seminarians. The Rule of St. Benedict can be a reference model so that seminaries can carry out a balanced theological education process to ensure that the academic quality exists as a part of the wholistic spiritual life. Dengan demikian, seminari sebagai salah satu model dari pendidikan teologi perlu memiliki sebuah pola yang baik terkait dengan formasi spiritual setiap orang di dalamnya. Kondisi seminari pada masa kini yang menunjukkan kecenderungan perhatian pada formasi akademik daripada formasi spiritual dapat mengakibatkan ketidakseimbangan dalam kehidupan para seminaris. The existence of the Implementation of Spiritual Formation-Based Christian Religious Education in every realm of education, makes a person's spirituality move forward and continue to grow and level up. This means that Christian education that takes place is not merely knowledge but there is active action instead to become doers of God’s Words.A spiritual formation that is applied in the life of a believer will help him or her to sharpen his/her spirituality and strength of faith so that he/she is able to overcome the desires in the flesh that are contrary to the will of the Father. Of course, this is not just a response, but spiritual practices instead that are continuously practiced in daily life. If not, it will experience spiritual stagnation or dryness and even spiritual death.This study uses a qualitative research method with a literature study, where the author will elaborate on the characteristics of Generation Z through various supporting literature, and propose the application of Spiritual Formation-Based Christian Religious Education for Generation Z in preparing them to face the challenges of today's faith, so that conclusions can be drawn on the Implementation of Religious Education. Spiritual Formation-Based Christianity is a teaching or learning process that focuses on the continuous application of spiritual discipline through mentoring and discipleship, with the aim of having a character and personality similar to Jesus Christ in his daily life. AbstrakAdanya Implementasi Pendidikan Agama Kristen Berbasis Formasi Rohani pada setiap ranah pendidikan, menjadikan spirtualitas seseorang bergerak maju dan terus bertumbuh serta naik level. Artinya pendidikan yang berlangsung bukan hanya pengetahuan semata melainkan terdapat tindakan aktif untuk menjadi pelaku-pelaku Firman.Suatu formasi rohani yang diterapkan dalam kehidupan orang percaya, akan membantunya untuk mempertajam kerohanian serta kekuatan iman, sehingga mampu mengalahkan keinginan daging yang bertentangan dengan kehendak Bapa. Hal ini tentu bukan hanya sekadar respon melainkan praktik-praktik rohani yang terus dilatih dan dikerjakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Jika tidak, maka akan mengalami stagnasi atau kekeringan rohani bahkan sampai kematian rohani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, di mana penulis akan mengelaborasi karak-teristik generasi Z melalui beragam pustaka yang mendukung, serta mengusulkan penerapan Pendidikan Agama Kristen Berbasis Formasi Rohani bagi generasi Z dalam mempersiapkannya menghadapi tantangan iman masa kini, sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan Implementasi Pendidikan Agama Kristen Berbasis Formasi Rohani adalah proses pengajaran atau pembelajaran yang berfokus pada penerapan disiplin rohani secara terus-menerus melalui pembimbingan dan pemu-ridan, dengan tujuan untuk memiliki karakter dan pribadi serupa dengan Yesus Kristus dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari.

In today’s conscientious minds, the main direct motivational activity is not less than the achievement of high productivity of practice, but the activation of the creative potential of practical workers in the field of higher education. Therefore, it is necessary to appoint such a form and method of stimulation, as to be aware of the effectiveness of the promotion and support new trends in the scientific and lighting process and personnel management. The purpose of the study is research, generalization and development of theoretical and methodological approaches to the development of modern forms and methods of motivating employees in the field of higher education. Modern systems and methods of employee motivation must be combined with established principles to create a system focused on higher education. These systems should include forms and methods of motivation that are compatible with the modern world to encourage workers through short-term international projects. This should increase the number of workers with creative and educated backgrounds who stay in the industry for many years. Increasing creativity and scientific activity of employees will also make higher education systems more competitive and increase their overall quality. A necessary condition for the implementation of material forms of motivation is the availability of financial resources for their provision. The methods of direct material influence include the payment of salaries, as well as additional payments and allowances, to scientific and pedagogical workers in the field of higher education. The use of material methods will contribute to the financial support of employees and the improvement of the socio-economic situation of their families. The use of non-material methods has a psychological effect on the individual, acts as a mechanism for self-realization, scientific and creative development, implementation of developed ideas in scientific, educational and practical activities, which will contribute to the self-realization of employees in a higher educational institution. The functioning of the system of motivation of employees in the field of higher education should be comprehensive, as it combines not only the employment of a highly qualified employee for a vacant position and the signing of a long-term contract with him, but also the provision of conditions for the employee’s work so that he does not have to prematurely terminate the contract. When implementing forms and methods of work motivation, it is important to ensure a systematic process of interaction between management and employees. In addition to the external results of the applied motivation methods, which are manifested in the increase in the number and quality of scientific works, receiving honors, awards, etc., it is important to analyze the attitude of employees to the current system. It is expedient to regularly and periodically survey the employees of a higher educational institution regarding the positive and negative features of the motivation system and suggestions for its improvement. To operate effectively, higher education institutions need employees with a wide range of skills. Ensuring that these employees receive the proper care and attention from their supervisors is vital to the success of the institution. The success of these schools motivates staff to develop new ideas and improve higher education services. This creates a competitive advantage for these schools over other educational institutions. An important component of the motivational system is the style of management, according to which the interests of employees are prioritized for the needs of the higher educational institution, therefore management is aimed at harmonizing personal and organizational interests. Having satisfied the need for optimal working conditions, the employee seeks to satisfy higher needs, in particular, the need for recognition. Therefore, the determining aspect of motivation management in a higher educational institution should be the proportional dependence of the motivational reward (material or non-material) on the efforts made by the employee to achieve performance results. In the modern management of a higher education institution, it is important to use motivation as one of the effective ways to ensure personnel potential. By carrying out systematic measures of internal and external management motivation, the higher educational institution not only attracts highly qualified employees, but also ensures their interest in effective work in the institution. Effective management of labor motivation requires a complex, flexible and open system of labor motivation management. This is due to the fact that a flexible and open system is needed to harmonize and optimize the needs of both the teaching and research staff and the higher education institution. It is also necessary to achieve mutually beneficial development goals. Effective management of motivation is based on the creation of a wide range of intangible and tangible motivational tools. This helps higher education institutions to compete with other educational services in domestic and international markets. The creation of a flexible and complex system requires the creation of additional types of activities.

The education of mathematics teachers who teach in public schools in the region of Formiga (MG) was investigated, together with the perception of a group of teachers regarding the need for specific training. Data from the State Department of Education were used, and a questionnaire was developed and administered to participating professionals. The demand for teachers in the region has grown more than the number of teachers working since 2014. The average number of professionals licensed in the subject has been higher than the national average for elementary education but lower than the average for high school. Finally, teachers consider knowledge and specific training in mathematics essential for working in basic education and adapting content to official curricula and for the quality of the teaching and learning process.

Este artículo analiza los usos y costumbres musicales de los universitarios bretones, teniendo en cuenta cómo emplean la música mediante las nuevas tecnologías (TIC) y sus estilos de aprendizaje predominantes. Para ello, se indagó en cómo influyen las características personales y el manejo de determinadas herramientas TIC en la adquisición de conocimientos y en el aprendizaje de contenidos musicales tras escuchar y compartir diferentes tipos de música. La investigación siguió un enfoque de tipo cuantitativo con un diseño no experimental descriptivo mediante encuesta. Con el fin de averiguar los estilos predominantes y los patrones de uso y consumo musical utilizando las TIC, se aplicaron dos cuestionarios a una muestra formada por 308 estudiantes de las Facultades de Educación de la Universidad de la Bretaña Occidental. Tras analizar los datos, los resultados revelaron la existencia de diferencias estadísticamente significativas en los usos musicales en cuanto a los estilos de aprendizaje y campus de procedencia, evidenciando que la forma particular de aprendizaje es un factor condicionante entre la población juvenil cuando consume música mediante las nuevas tecnologías.

Bagian terluar dari tubuh yang terkena paparan sinar ultraviolet adalah kulit. Terjadi penumpukan kotoran akibat dari pengaruh eksternal lingkungan, sehingga perlu adanya perlindungan dasar untuk merawat kulit dengan menggunakan sabun untuk menjaga kebersihan kulit. Sabun adalah bahan pembersih yang dibuat berdasarkan reaksi saponifikasi antara basa kalium atau natrium dan asam lemak (minyak). Penambahan bahan pengisi berupa daun cengkeh ditambahkan pada pembuatan sabun susu sapi sebagai bahan antiseptik dan aromatik. Kandungan bahan kimia yang terdapat pada cengkeh berupa flavonoid, minyak atsiri (eugenol) dan antibakteri. Metode pembuatan sabun dengan menggunakan cold process. Ekstraksi daun cengkeh dengan menggunakan ekstraksi suhu ruang dinggap proses yang paling sederhana dan variabel perbedaan komposisi NaOH yaitu 26%, 28%, 30%, 32%, dan 34%, lalu mengambil 150 mL dari masing -masing konsentrasi untuk melihat hasil sabun yang sesuai standar SNI. Pengujian sabun dilakukan dengan menggunakan standar SNI sabun padat dan uji organoleptik. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian sabun yang paling mendekati standar SNI yaitu NaOH 30%.

Los objetivos del presente trabajo son dos. Por una parte, analizar el apoyo comunitario percibido en jóvenes y, por otra, establecer si este difiere en función de si participa o no en actividades de voluntariado. La muestra inicial estuvo formada por 1685 participantes y la muestra final por 1567 jóvenes. La edad mínima fue de 17 y la máxima de 40 años (M = 22.89 años, DT = 3.85), siendo el 28.7% hombres y el 71.3% mujeres. Se empleó como instrumento de recogida de información una adaptación al español del Cuestionario de Apoyo Comunitario Percibido (Herrero & Gracia, 2007), cuyos requisitos psicométricos se garantizaron (fiabilidad y validez). Los resultados muestran, en primer lugar, que la dimensión del apoyo comunitario percibido con puntuaciones más altas es la relativa a Organización comunitaria y la dimensión con puntuaciones más bajas la Participación comunitaria. En segundo lugar, se encuentran diferencias en el apoyo comunitario percibido entre aquellos jóvenes que realizan acciones de voluntariado y los que no en las citadas dimensiones, no existiendo en la Integración comunitaria. Como conclusión se destaca la necesidad de desarrollar estrategias que promuevan el voluntariado en los jóvenes dadas las implicaciones sociales y psicológicas que ello conlleva.

Introducción. El objetivo de este estudio es conocer si existen diferencias en atención selectiva y sostenida entre niños con diferentes subtipos de TDAH y niños con trastornos del aprendizaje (TA), para mejorar el diagnóstico diferencial entre TDAH y TA y entre los diferentes subtipos de TDAH. Método. La muestra estuvo formada por 437 niños que acudieron a un centro de psicología, de los cuales 234 tenían TDAH y 203 TA (en los que se descartó un diagnóstico de TDAH). Se aplicaron pruebas de atención sostenida y selectiva (Caras, d2, EMAV, AGL, CSAT y CPT-II) a los participantes durante su evaluación y se realizaron análisis descriptivos, ANOVAs de un factor y pruebas F planeadas. Resultados. Las diferencias entre los distintos indicadores de las pruebas utilizadas para medir la atención sugieren que los niños con TDAH tienen dificultades en el rendimiento en atención selectiva y sostenida y procesan la información de forma significativamente más lenta que los niños con TA. Discusión y conclusiones. Los indicadores de algunas de las pruebas utilizadas podrían ser de utilidad para hacer un diagnóstico diferencial entre los niños con TDAH y con TA y para poder establecer un plan de intervención de tratamiento individualizado.

Método Investigación documental, secundaria de tipo, revisión narrativa, se desarrolló el método histórico lógico para el proceso de sistematización de las teorías relacionadas con la metacognición. Principales resultados Para los estudiantes vivir una experiencia metacognitiva es vivir un proceso armonioso que genera nuevos aprendizajes y despierta el aprendizaje autorregulado individualizado, estos aprendizajes generan una serie de procesos cognitivos, como adquisición de habilidades nuevas, originales y útiles a través de: a) Meta-atención, b) Meta-memoria, c) Meta-lectura, d) Meta-escritura con la finalidad de convertir la información obtenida en conocimientos integrados y evaluables. Conclusiones La metacognición es una herramienta actual que permite la creación de ideas en base a conocimientos sólidos, fomentados en la obtención de autonomía en el aprendizaje y la responsabilidad para el estudio y solución de problemáticas planteadas en el aula de clases, ofrece una respuesta a problemas planteados con mayor asertividad, incluye el pensamiento crítico el cual fomenta el aprendizaje autorregulado y crea lazos entre el pensamiento creativo, siendo este, el paso inicial para la obtención de ideas originales, logrando que la atención centralizada, organizada y lúdica, en el campo de la educación superior en salud, derribando a los métodos de enseñanza tradicionales.

Tras delimitar el concepto de Educación Intercultural, se analizan y agrupan sumariamente las publicaciones seleccionadas (temática, características, metodología y técnicas de investigación utilizadas, intervenciones desarrolladas, etc.) y se somete el conjunto al pertinente análisis estadístico. Entre los principales hallazgos, se destaca como la investigación se ha centrado de forma mayoritaria en dos núcleos, la diversidad cultural en el entorno escolar y el análisis de los conocimientos, actitudes y creencias, abordados, básicamente, desde una metodología cualitativa. Pero también se han podido identificar cuáles son los puntos débiles en este campo de estudio. Finalmente, se formulan algunas sugerencias y recomendaciones a fin de encarar un futuro de investigación en el tema a partir de la evidencia aportada y la complejidad asociada a un creciente caudal de incertidumbre en los escenarios sociales.

Entre los principales hallazgos, se destaca como la investigación se ha centrado de forma mayoritaria en dos núcleos, la diversidad cultural en el entorno escolar y el análisis de los conocimientos, actitudes y creencias, abordados, básicamente, desde una metodología cualitativa. Pero también se han podido identificar cuáles son los puntos débiles en este campo de estudio. Finalmente, se formulan algunas sugerencias y recomendaciones a fin de encarar un futuro de investigación en el tema a partir de la evidencia aportada y la complejidad asociada a un creciente caudal de incertidumbre en los escenarios sociales.

Abstract:
La lectura es un proceso que se ha culturalizado con el tiempo, a fin de mostrarse como reflejo de la situación de la mujer y de los condicionantes a los que se enfrenta. Por ello, el objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar variables relacionadas con el hábito lector en universitarios, desde una perspectiva de género. Por lo que se refiere al método empleado, se planificó un diseño ex post facto, prospectivo de grupo único. La muestra, estuvo formada por 277 estudiantes universitarios (Medad = 22.20, DE = 4.367) de ambos sexos (20.7% hombres; 79.3% mujeres). Los resultados mostraron la lectura como una actividad de ocio más practicada por las mujeres, especialmente en vacaciones y se observó una preferencia diferenciada estadísticamente en los tipos de lectura (libros y revistas en mujeres, y cómics y periódicos en hombres). Para las mujeres, el grupo de amigos influyó positiva y significativamente en el fomento de la lectura, y respecto a la competencia lectora, el fomento de la imaginación fue la categoría más valorada por mujeres, también con diferenciación significativa. Así, conocer el hábito lector que presentan los estudiantes universitarios diferenciados por género, contribuye a sensibilizar a los docentes de la necesidad de fomentar la lectura en este nivel educativo.
