Full textThe method of executing the right of reply vary from country to country. That method in Korea is somehow special. Above all, a Committee of Mediation of Media (CMM) handles preliminary the conflicts concerning the right of reply. The CMM is a very common authority with highly specified functions. In 1980, Korean legislators thought that introducing the right of reply for the first time would cause too much mess and trouble. In order to minimize the ineluctable shock, they created the CMM. Finally, the CMM is very effective and necessary not only to the press, but also to the victims by mass medias. Recently, there are much discussion on the right of reply for a prompt, economic and sufficient settlement of the strifes occured by the mass media

Full textThe main purpose of this paper is to identify the Korean mothers' enthusiasm itself for the education of their children. The data are based on interviews implemented in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The sample is composed of twenty-three Korean mothers who have one or more children aged between 13 – 18 years. Twelve out of the sample are housewives and other eleven have paid job. The questionnaire is designed specifically to find out hidden meanings of enthusiasm for the almost blind investment in the education of children by checking the priority given by Korean mother to the success of the children on the basis of individual, family, and social variants of interviewees. The interview has been analysed according to the frequency of various subjects mentioned in the course of dialogue. This paper extends its analysis into the relationship between the knowledge and Korean mothers by referring the existing research on the relationship between women and knowledge in patriarchal societies of Nicole Mosconi and terms of ‘habitus' and ‘male dominion' of Pierre Bourdieu. In brief, the enthusiasm for the education of children is a strategy for identity of Korean mothers to secure individual and social position for themselves in the context of their current situation

Full textThe main goal of this study consists in revealing the theory best adapted to Korean law within the scope of the cancellation of contract, seeking after its true genealogy. The criticisms on traditional korean doctrine concerns firstly the notion of the breach of contract as causes of the cancellation. The analysis of law shows that the German conception was not adopted by the drafters of the Korean civil code. The Korean system is analogous to the french system. The main difference between french and korean law in the very moment of intervention of the judge. The Korean law differs from the German law, too in the exercising of the right of cancellation, especially concerning rhe option given to the creditor victim of breach of contractual obligations and the concurrence between the cancellation and the compensation for damages. As far as the retroactivity is concerned, any argument implying the non retroactivity cannot be admitted in the Korean law. The legal system about the cancellation of contract in the Korean law is similar to the french system in many points of view
Yi, Saangkyun. "Une discipline entre nation et empires : histoire de la géographie scolaire en Corée, 1876-2012." Caen, 2012. http://www.theses.fr/2012CAEN1673.
Full textIn the last third of the nineteenth century, Korea entered a globalization sequence in which elementary school through geography enhance different expressions of national ‘greatness. ’ Educational geography is impacted by a series of ruptures occurring in Korea. The historical periodization of Korea defines four periods. Regarding the country, they correspond to situations which range from political independence to occupation. That analysis helps to understand why geographical education is not currently, for a majority of decision makers in South Korea, an appropriate response to the understanding of regional and global geopolitics by South Korean citizens. Between, on the one hand, the South Korean nation whose geography education is a way of expressing collective identity in its spatial dimension, and, on the other hand, empires that put their mark on national territory and simultaneously on educational geography, empire is in tension in its content and in its organization. The current crisis of geography is presented as an opportunity to seize. Educational geography has gained conceptual coherence as a result of scientific developments, and the liberalization of the production of textbooks is likely to raise the geographical education level in a context where the didactic training of teachers is very low. In conclusion, a program to overcome the crisis is required

Full textSouth Korean national curriculums have been refined in 1945 under American governments and former educational theories influence, which are actually still in use nowadays in South Korea when developing new national curriculums. Curriculums have been systematically reformed each time a new government was elected in order to insure its own political legitimacy and introduce government ideologies through curriculums. Although governments have officially introduced sets of measures to consult with every members of educational environment before reforming curriculums, the latter haven’t actually been really able to take part in the reform and most of social requests haven’t really been considered. Considering those elements, we directed our research toward the introduction of American theories and political ideology in curriculums and toward the methods used by the government to reach these goals. Our work is articulated around six parts. The first part deals with important socio-historic and political events and defines specific terms used in the research. The second one analyzes the history and structures of curriculum development in South Korea. The third part defines various theories relative to curriculum development in South Korea, exemplifies the two points of view usually adopted in curriculum research field and presents the synthetic point of view we base our study on. The fourth and fifth parts respectively present our methodology and model of research. The sixth part gives in depth explanations regarding organization, decision making structures and administrative procedures involved in textbooks and curriculums development, publication and distribution

However, competences tranfer has been successfull in France, it comes up against many problems in Korea, particularly the abscence of any general principle. The first part puts forward the nature and content of national and local applications rules in France, the "POS" ratifies decentralizations mouvement and the "SD" comes from a cooperation between communes. In Korea space planning is based on "PAS" and "SD" that emphasize the abscence of local dialogue. The second part studies the means concerning concret applications of planned developments land use's and financial control expreses itself in a different way in the two countries, in France, communes are obliged to take on city-planning's financial obligations but they receive neverthelessaides from state. In Korea high population density represent obstacles. At last, techniques in city-planning's operations apply to housing development and zac in France and to "remembrement" and ZDAF in Korea. So, the various elements inspired by French system could without any doubt bring solutions to korean problems
