Abstract:
Of course, in any country, including Russia, the relevance of research to prevent an increase in the level of economic crime is important. Moreover, its level is an indicator of the country’s economic security. Accordingly, in the conditions of restrictions, the consequences of the pandemic associated with an increase in unemployment, a decrease in the income of the population, the factors affecting an increase in this indicator — the level of crime in the economic sphere — are increasing. The article provides a forecast of socio-economic indicators: the development of the social sphere, the level and quality of life. The decomposition of institutionalization of preventive measures aimed at counteracting the commission of economic crime is built. A portrait of a criminal in cybercrime conditions is highlighted and the dynamics of registered crimes is considered. At the same time, in the institutional structure of the decomposition of preventive measures aimed at counteracting the commission of economic crime, a component of socio-economic conditions is highlighted, contributing to the increase in the commission or reduction of this type of economic crime.

Abstract:
Introduction. The modern economic world, saturated with instability and uncertainty, requires new approaches to understanding and managing economic processes. In this context the relevance of experimental behavioral economics research is extremely important. Making economic decisions is not an exclusively rational process, because it is also connected with psychological factors that determine the behavior of subjects in the market and in management processes. Understanding these psychological aspects, their influence on decision-making and the development of strategies that would take these features into account become a key task in the conditions of the modern global economic environment. The relevance of the study of experimental behavioral economics covers not only practical application in various strategies and management decisions, but is also considered in the context of the formation of socially responsible economic policies and interaction between various market subjects. Research in this direction will contribute to the formation of more flexible and adaptive strategies aimed at achieving sustainable development in conditions of uncertainty and rapid changes. The purpose of the article is to highlight the key aspects of experimental behavioral economics, to reveal its essence and the importance of its application in the modern economic environment, ta analyse the psychological factors, that influence economic decision-making, and to determine the importance of experimental behavioral economics as a tool for management and development of modern economic strategies. Results. The general results of the study indicate the need to rethink traditional approaches in the modern economy and demonstrate the significance and practical value of experimental behavioral economics in the development and optimization of strategies in various spheres of modern society. Conclusions. The analysis of the conclusions, presented in the article, opens up new perspectives for further research in the context of the development of the theory of behavioral economics and its impact on economic practice.

Abstract:
This study aims to assess the relationship between R&D and economic growth in terms of their ability to understand R&D management. In the paper, the algorithm of actions was used, which allows ensuring interconnection, sequence of work, validity of the choice of the methods used, and defining key factors over a long period. The following methods of the empirical study were used: analysis of the provision of level development; regional analysis of the data; correlation analysis. Based on correlation analysis the impact of economic growth on R&D was investigated, which is expressed by such variables as the number of organizations engaged in R&D, internal expenditures in R&D, expenditures for technological innovations, number of employees in R&D. The data were obtained from the World Bank, the Eurasian Economic Union, and the statistical yearbook of Kazakhstan for 2009–2019. The results obtained show that all determinants correlate not only with the GDP but with each other as well. According to the findings, viewing the GDP level, there is a positive and negative correlation link between such two factors as ‘the number of research organizations’ and ‘R&D technological innovations’. These coefficients of correlation between GDP and independent factors selected for the analysis are significant, i.e. they can significantly affect the value of the GDP. The obtained results are useful in formulating the R&D development management strategy. Abstract:
In terms (conditions) of socio-economic crisis, there are changes in the algorithms of acceptance of the investment, financial, management, and other decisions at various levels, which requires the emphasis on the patterns of behavior of participants in financial and economic processes in conditions of risk and uncertainty. The article aims to review the key postulates of behavioral economics, substantiate the possibility and feasibility of applying the theoretical foundations of behavioral economics as the latest model of the irrational behavior of financial and economic relations in practice management at regional and local levels. The theoretical foundations of behavioral economics are revealed, the preconditions of origin (scientific bases, technological level, socio-economic bases) and stages of formation are determined. The interdisciplinary nature of behavioral economics as a science-based on the provisions of economics, psychology, sociology, neurobiology, and studies of socio-economic problems using non-traditional methods and approaches is proved. The study found that the growing trend of the practical application of behavioral economics at the regional and local levels is associated with the possibility of taking into account, except objective factors, irrational behavior of participants in financial and economic processes in conditions of risk and uncertainty. Behavioral differences between «economic man» and Humans are substantiated. It is established that people have such behavioral features as presumed irrationality; limited cognitive skills, emotions, morals, and social norms; limited selfishness; inconsistency (variability) of preferences. The expediency of studying economic relations at the regional and local levels on the basis of behavioral economics is justified by the possibility of explaining the abnormal behavior of economic agents in conditions of uncertainty and risk, which encourages the search for new behavioral strategies of financial and economic relations.

Abstract:
Economic changes create a strong need for the reconsideration of the system of financial and budgetary knowledge and paradigms already created in developed countries regarding the possibility of their use in the countries with developing economies. In this article, the authors clarify that the process of formation of the efficient and mutually agreed budget policy with strategic tasks of the social and economical development of countries requires development of the budget strategy. Its essence is the dynamic realization of the system of goals, principles, directions, tasks of state authorities, co-ordination and adequacy of their long-term regulatory measures to internal and external changes in the economic environment and social transformations aimed at ensuring macroeconomic stability, accelerating economic growth and improving the well-being of the population. The principles of budget strategy development have been clearly defined: scientific substantiation; integrity; efficiency; systematic approach; adaptability; variability; interdependence; purposefulness; sociality; legitimacy. The share of government expenditures, budget deficit and public debt in the gross domestic product in the EU and Ukraine has been estimated. The priority directions of budget strategies in the conditions of economic transformations have been defined, in particular, regarding the increase of efficiency of public expenditures and establishment of restrictions on their level of growth; improvement of the mechanism for managing budget deficits, public debt and guarantees and reduction of their limits. The research has demonstrated a huge influence of the budget strategy on the social and economical processes and on the development of the social relations.

Abstract:
One of the global trends of the current stage of development of world civilization is economic security. This problem becomes more relevant for socio-economic systems that are in a state of transformation. Economic security is an integral element of the economic system and at the same time a part of a broader phenomenon - the security of social reproduction as a process richer in content. Economic security from the point of view of institutional economics is a product of habits and traditions that have developed in society. An important aspect of modern institutional research is the consideration of institutions not as separate sets of independent formations of multidirectional influence, but as an integral system that connects all institutions and directs them along a certain vector of development. It is thanks to the action of an extensive network of formal and informal institutions that stable foundations of socio-economic systems and a high level of certainty of socio-economic relations are formed. The criterion for the effectiveness of any new institution is its compliance with the interests and goals of society. The social assessment of the "public utility" of the institution, including the increase in the level of economic security, becomes the basis of trust in it. The system for ensuring economic security should conceptually be aimed not only at countering threats, but precisely at their prevention, at the formation of an institutional security environment. We are talking about internal mechanisms to support a stable, balanced, effective development of the economy, active preventive actions to ensure its margin of safety. This system of measures will be an important step forward on the path of institutional modernization. The mechanism for ensuring economic security is based on four political pillars: labor, benefits, protection and justice, therefore a set of institutional measures aimed at ensuring these parameters of the socio-economic system is the main guarantee of strengthening its security. Keywords: economic security, national security, institutions, institutional traps, institutional system, institutional architecture, economic development.

Abstract:
This paper reports onthe preliminary findings of a study initiated two years ago, at the initiative of the P.LD.E. to review the problems of teaching and research in economics and related subjects (ERS)! during the last two decades. The need for such a study has been felt for some time not only because of the common perception of declining standards in higher education generally and, economics, in particular, but also from the perceived competition economics has faced from other disciplines, especially business studies and computer science as a passport to the job market. After having enjoyed a relatively robust period of growth in the 1960s largely through the assistance of foreign donors such as the Ford Foundation, ERS in Pakistan have suffered in their development not only from the comparative paucity of resources allocated to them, but also as a result of an adverse change in the perceptions about the primacy of their usefulness for policy purposes. The demand for economics has also suffered some decline as a result of the diminished importance of the public sector and of planned development during the last two decades. While special branches of economics, such as finance, project evaluation, transport and energy economics have shown increased demand, mainly in the private sector or donor-related institutions, the demand for general economic analysts is not as strong as in the past and does not provide many gainful opportunities for professional advancement. Due to the continued disadvantage in terms of salaries and other rewards, the academic profession, remains unattractive.

Abstract:
Introduction. Some methodological provisions need to be modified according to the realities of existing practice and be verified according to the possibilities of their application in economic phenomena and processes study. Theoretical analysis of methodological principles, their comparison and generalization were used during investigation. The purpose of the paper is to study basic methodological prerequisites and principles in economic research. Results. Analyzing and summarizing the achievements of Nobel laureates, the methodological problems of limited rationality, information asymmetry and opportunistic behavior of economic agents are considered. Modern mainstream in economic research corresponds to binary paradigm of neoclassicism and neoinstitutionalism, which are based on two common elements of the “core”: methodological individualism and “economic man” conception (homo economicus). The focus of the enterprises on maximizing profitability, and households – on benefits, is an axiom of neoclassicism, which implies significant requirements for information quantity and quality. At the same time, rational choice is accompanied by situations of uncertainty and varying degrees of risk regarding such activities consequences. The advantages of the institutional direction as the closest to the real conditions of economic entities market activity are substantiated. A specific feature of neoinstitutional approach is modification of neoclassical paradigm due to preserving basic preconditions of its “core” and partial transformation of “protective shell” into more perfect, realistic principles. In economics, the most significant is methodological combination of “semi-strong” limited rationality with a “strong” form of opportunistic behavior. Conclusions. Thanks to introducing modified preconditions and methodological principles into neo-institutionalism, it became possible to improve the analysis of economics and to apply interdisciplinary research in combination with the approaches of other branches of science.

Purpose. The aim of the article is the consideration of the functioning of forensic economic expertise in the conditions of globalization of economic relations and determination of priority directions for its development. Methodology of research. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research is the scientific works of expert economists, regulatory and legal acts. In the research process, the following general scientific methods were used: analysis and synthesis, generalization – to determine the conditions for the development of forensic economic expertise, which were formed under the influence of the globalization of economic relations; abstract and logical – for forming conclusions and proposals. Findings. The essence of financial and economic globalization, which is decisive among the types of globalization, the stages of its development, the processes of transformation of forensic economic expertise related to it, as well as economic violations that are carried out in the conditions of globalized economic relations and have a steady tendency to complication, and on which judicial and investigative bodies, if necessary, appoint forensic economic examinations. It is substantiated that the spread of international standards of forensic expert activity in the field of economics is limited by the action of objective endogenous factors (peculiarities of the economy, differentiation of the economic development of countries, property relations), which are key in solving this issue. Originality. The study of the development of forensic economic expertise in the conditions of the globalization of economic relations was further developed. Practical value. The proposed main endogenous influencing factors can be taken into account when harmonizing the principles of the development of forensic economic expertise with international requirements. Key words: globalization of economic relations, forensic economic expertise, transnational corporations, international economic integration, harmonization of legislation.

The purpose of the paper examines the problem of work-life balance, well-being, and intrinsic motivation of employees during economic turbulence.Methodology. Adopting a quantitative approach, this investigation analyses the data obtained from employees of governmental and private local companies. This study reviewed Hasan et al. research on managing human resources, well-being, job satisfaction, and work-life balance.Originality / value of the research. The vast majority of studies in HRM are around employee eff ectiveness. However, especially in economic instability alternative strategies such as well-being, work-life balance, and intrinsic motivation have to be investigated. Also, the Self-determination theory was chosen because it helps to understand the phenomenon by clarifying the research problem related to intrinsic motivation, social satisfaction, and psychological well-being in depth.Findings. One of the fi ndings indicates that there was no association between demographic variables and work-life balance satisfaction. The outcome of the analysis implies that obtained data is normally distributed.Nevertheless, there is lower response rate (33) could be deemed insuffi cient to ensure the data’s neutral skewness. Since the overwhelming number of respondents are female, the fi ndings of the study may be unrepresentative of the entire population. As a result, research will be carried out by gathering data.

The extent to which levels and trends in local unemployment and income influenced the Conservative vote in 633 separate British constituency elections in 1983 is estimated in several regression models. Long-term influences on voting are controlled by the endogenous variables of social class and territoriality. It is argued that this research design is superior to previous ones that have treated general elections as national elections in exploring the economic theory of voting. Sensitivity analysis (the use of several models to illuminate the research problem posed) suggests that, unlike America congressional elections, current rates and trends in local unemployment and income exerted a substantial and systematic influence on constituency voting.

Abstract:
In the conditions of martial law, ensuring economic security is highly relevant for domestic enterprises. The issue of economic security is defined by the fact that a significant number of companies located in the Eastern part of the country are forced to relocate to areas where active combat operations are not taking place. Issues related to economic security are the subject of extensive research. At the same time, it is important to assess the factors influencing the process of managing economic security in the context of martial law. The purpose of this work is to develop a model that will enable the evaluation of factors influencing the management of economic security in conditions of martial law. Economic security of an enterprise is a comprehensive characteristic that encompasses the level of protection of all types of the enterprise's potential from internal and external threats, ensuring its stable functioning and effective development, and requires management by the enterprise's leadership. This paper analyzes the factors influencing the process of managing economic security of enterprises in conditions of martial law. Given that economic security significantly depends on sources of funding for the enterprise, the intellectual component, the availability of an adequate workforce, and the volume of information, these factors are taken into account in the research. The distribution of factors influencing the evaluation of the efficiency indicator of economic security management is presented. The paper proposes hierarchical relationships of factors influencing the system of economic security management of an enterprise, which, unlike existing approaches, allows for a more comprehensive consideration of the factors determining the effectiveness of economic security management and the development of a mathematical model for intelligent decision support in managing economic security.

The article is devoted to the study of the economic sustainability and economic security of an enterprise in the conditions of multiple external environment. In the conditions of instability of the external environment of enterprises, the problems of ensuring their economic stability and adaptability acquire priority importance. Ensuring the economic stability of the enterprise is a guarantee of viability and the basis of stable economic development, competitive position and competitive advantages in the market. It gives priority in attracting investments, obtaining loans, choosing contractors and attracting qualified personnel. The higher the economic stability of the enterprise, the higher its adaptability, independence from changes in the market and, therefore, the lower the probability of bankruptcy. It is proven that the economic security of the enterprise largely depends on the component of economic stability, solvency, liquidity, profitability. It is indisputable that economic sustainability is the basis of enterprise security and the ability to implement development strategies in conditions of minimizing the impact of risks, threats and dangers. It was noted that the effectiveness of the relationship and mutual influence of the economic stability and security of the enterprise is reflected in its financial flexibility based on the ability to change the volume and structure of funding sources, as well as the directions of investment of financial resources due to the influence of risks, threats, dangers of the internal and external environment. Therefore, without ensuring the economic stability of their enterprises in the conditions of a market economy, enterprises will not be able to operate successfully on the market. The modern market is constantly changing. Since changes are happening quickly, adapting to them becomes a significant advantage of enterprises in the fight against competitors.

Abstract:
AbstractThe topic of organisational pathology is surprisingly absent in literature on management, especially when bearing in mind the theoretical and practical import of such questions. The intention of the author is to fill in this gap, at least partially. The paper is based on an analysis of literature and an empirical research conducted by the author. The research applied partially structured interviews as its method. These interviews were conducted with entrepreneurs and managers of various levels. They made possible the drawing of conclusions relating to conditions behind the genesis and growth of selected organisational pathologies in a situation of economic downswing. The article briefly presents the concept and influence of pathology on the functioning of an organisation. The author concentrates on the causes of the phenomenon and presents them from various perspectives. It is during times of economic downswing that an increase in unethical behaviour, including corruption, mobbing as well as others, becomes particularly visible. Also noticeable is concentrating on limiting costs, which can sometimes reach pathological scale. This can lead to a permanent loss of pro-development potential by the organisation. Moreover, numerous pathological phenomena emerge at the tangent point of the organisation and its surroundings. The source of many undesirable phenomena in the organisation and in its relations with its surroundings is a fall in trust, which makes its appearance in crisis situations. More often than not, managers facing a situation in which they have no choice perpetuate organisational pathologies, whilst, at the same time, being aware of the lack of validity of their actions. However, a more frequent source of problems is the differences in perspective in perceiving organisational phenomena by various actors and stakeholders.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to reconcile research finding that labor market outcomes are related to economic freedom for entrepreneurs and separate research finding that higher homeownership rates are associated with more unemployment. Design/methodology/approach – Using panel data covering the 50 states over 1981-2009, this paper analyzes the relationship between labor market conditions, economic freedom, and homeownership rates. Findings – The results indicate that economic freedom is associated with favorable labor market conditions but that the relationship between homeownership and poor labor market outcomes is small and insignificant in most specifications once economic freedom is accounted for. Originality/value – This paper is the first paper to examine the relationship between labor market outcomes and both homeownership and economic freedom. The results suggest that the economic environment for entrepreneurs is more important than any rigidities created by homeownership.

Abstract:
Background: The importance of economic evaluation in decision making is growing with increasing budgetary pressures on health systems. Diverse economic evidence is available for a range of interventions across national contexts within Europe, but little attention has been given to identifying evidence gaps that, if filled, could contribute to more efficient allocation of resources. One objective of the Research Agenda for Health Economic Evaluation project is to determine the most important methodological evidence gaps for the ten highest burden conditions in the European Union (EU), and to suggest ways of filling these gaps. Methods: The highest burden conditions in the EU by Disability Adjusted Life Years were determined using the Global Burden of Disease study. Clinical interventions were identified for each condition based on published guidelines, and economic evaluations indexed in MEDLINE were mapped to each intervention. A panel of public health and health economics experts discussed the evidence during a workshop and identified evidence gaps. Results: The literature analysis contributed to identifying cross-cutting methodological and technical issues, which were considered by the expert panel to derive methodological research priorities. Conclusions: The panel suggests a research agenda for health economics which incorporates the use of real-world evidence in the assessment of new and existing interventions; increased understanding of cost-effectiveness according to patient characteristics beyond the “-omics” approach to inform both investment and disinvestment decisions; methods for assessment of complex interventions; improved cross-talk between economic evaluations from health and other sectors; early health technology assessment; and standardized, transferable approaches to economic modeling.

Abstract:
Over 5.5 million tons of plastic waste are generated globally from the research sectors. A university laboratory, e.g., pathology, can generate 250 tons of clinical plastic waste annually. The UK National Health Service (NHS) generates 133 kilotons (kt) of clinical plastic waste annually. Healthcare facilities in the US generate 1.7 million tons of clinical plastic waste annually. In addition, 95% of the clinical plastics are single-use plastics derived from fossil resources, i.e., crude oils. These single-use clinical plastic wastes are incinerated, contributing to global warming, or go to the landfill, contributing to resource depletion. Plastic leakage is a major threat to the environment. This linear plastics economy model, take-make-dispose, must be replaced by a circular plastics economy, i.e., sort plastic wastes, wash, decontaminate, recover materials, blend with bio-based compounds as necessary and circulate recyclate plastics, for holistic systemic sustainability. While there are multi-faceted environmental drivers for a circular plastics economy, there are many uncertainties in the economic attributes, electricity price, labor cost and chemical cost being the primary ones influencing the cost of production of secondary or recyclate plastics, requiring government and policy support, such as a gate fee on plastic waste by the generators to the recyclers. An essential macroeconomic condition for techno-economically (or micro-economically) feasible plastic waste recycling is low oil and gas prices that influence the recyclate plastics and electricity prices. It is essential to de-fossilize the economy by decoupling renewable electricity generation from natural gas consumption and fossil-independent biopolymer productions displacing fossil-derived plastics to stimulate the circular economy. This study shows a comprehensive and robust technoeconomic analysis of mechanical recycling of clinical plastic wastes into secondary plastics recovery.

Abstract:
The publication provides an analysis of the state of implementation and the effectiveness of the use of geometric methods of research and management of economic processes. The task of managing economic processes becomes extremely relevant in a decentralized (market) economy. Economic processes are complex and ambiguous. Many research and scientific works testify to the relevance and effectiveness of mathematical and geometric methods for analyzing economic processes and making decision in economic management.Management of economic processes in market conditions characterize by incomplete information and uncertainty. The system operates under random stochastic conditions. The law of variation of the parameters characterizes the process is first determined approximately based on the a priori dependence and refined over time. Thus, the task of forecasting and optimizing economic processes becomes urgent.Due to the complex type of mathematical objective functions that model the economic process, the sought solution should be consider a recommended characteristic. The final management decision made on the basis of practical experience as a result of expert analysis results probabilistic model and adjusted in accordance with the overall strategy for the development process. The use of geometric modeling methods, which distinguishes by their clarity and constructiveness, makes it possible to expand the capabilities of the apparatus for analyzing and predicting process changes. In addition, in geometry, as well as in economic processes, functions design and investigate on a finite interval of parameter changes, in contrast to unlimited abstract mathematical functions. The geometric interpretation of the probabilistic characteristics of the process determines a qualitatively new approach to finding a solution. It should be noted that for some reason: the discrete nature of data input-output, the presentation of design solutions, the compilation of calculation models, all models of economic processes should be considered discrete. The discrete nature of the models of processes in economics determines the relevance of using discrete geometry as a modeling tool.

Abstract:
In carrying out their profession, economics teachers cannot escape from economic attitudes and behavior, which are present in their lives every day. Even though they have adequate mastery of economic knowledge, according to the field of study they teach, economics teachers are still often trapped in irrational attitudes and behavior, which are not in accordance with the basic principles of economics. This research aims to explain the irrational attitudes and behavior of Economics Teachers, differentiated based on the level of (1) professional capability, (2) appreciation of educational conditions, (3) subjective well-being, (4) appreciation of economic conditions and (5) commitment to emulate. The explanatory study was carried out using a deductive approach through quantitative methods. The research subjects were 264 secondary education economics teachers spread across the East Java region. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and tests and the data collected was analyzed using variance analysis. The analysis process was carried out with the help of the statistical application program SPSS for iOS ver. 26. The research results prove that there are significant differences in the irrational behavior of economics teachers based on the level of professional capability, appreciation of educational conditions, subjective well-being, appreciation of economic conditions and commitment to emulate. From the results of this research, it was found that the higher the level of the differentiating variable, the higher the intensity of economics teachers' irrational behavior. By knowing the mapping of teachers' economic irrationality and its differential factors, teacher development programs can be formulated more contextually. As is known, the substance and learning materials for economic education at the secondary education level in Indonesia today are theoretical and less contextual.

Abstract:
Purpose. To substantiate the methodological approach to the development of research components of the integrated system of complex economic analysis and internal control of the enterprise. Methodology. The main methods of this research are statistical methods, the latter being used for processing of statistic data; methods of formalization and mathematical simulation used for development of conceptual analysis base to control the enterprises activity. Findings. A complex model of diagnostics of enterprises activity in a competitive environment is proposed, which is based on the methodology of complex economic analysis with the use of financial and non-financial indicators. To assess the competitive advantages of the enterprise, we offer an algorithm to calculate an integrated indicator of the level of its competitiveness using a balanced scoring system. Originality. In the course of research, the scientific and methodological approach to a complex evaluation of influence of a research component on development of competitive strategy of the enterprise was developed. Unlike the existing ones, this approach involves: - development of an integrated system of complex economic analysis and internal control over business processes of enterprises with the use of modern information technologies, which allows assessing their competitiveness, forming a development strategy; - methodical procedures of internal control of the enterprise with the use of financial and operational budgets and management reports based on a balanced scoring system, using CVP-analysis, which allows forming flexible budgets. Practical value. The results of the study can be used by practitioners, scientists, government officials to monitor the development of the corporate architecture, to study enterprise development processes.

Abstract:
Purpose. To create a mathematical model for assessing, analyzing and forecasting the economic security of the enterprise in a crisis. To create an algorithm for assessing the levels of economic security. Methodology. In the scientific research, the results of which are given in the presented article, general and special methods of cognition were used. The method of logical generalization is used to substantiate the relevance of the topic, purpose and objectives of the study, to determine the essential features of indicators of economic security of the enterprise. The method of comparative analysis, quantitative and qualitative comparison is used to identify an integrated indicator that correlates with the characteristics of economic security and to provide analytical and predictive results of profitability of all activities of the enterprises of the industry and on its separate branches. The method of mathematical formalization is used for the formation of a mathematical model and algorithm for assessing the level of threat to the economic security of the enterprise. Findings. It is proposed to create a mathematical model by integrating individual blocks that use different mathematical approaches. This model is designed for analytical study on various aspects of economic security of the enterprise. Algorithms are proposed for estimating the levels of economic security (critical, dangerous, unsatisfactory, satisfactory, optimal ones) and also determining them using an integrated indicator that characterizes these levels; finding its deterministic, probabilistic and fuzzy components; a step-by-step increase in the relevance of the analysis of the level of economic security. It is also proposed to compare the effects of the crisis on enterprises in different industries and to gradually calculate integrated indicators in the areas of economic security for a homogeneous group of enterprises selected by industry, size and region. This provides an opportunity to see more broadly the threats and depth of the crisis and to implement measures to neutralize its consequences more effectively. Originality. The mathematical model for assessing and forecasting the economic security of enterprises in crisis conditions has been created. It is proposed to conduct a permanent rapid analysis and forecast of the impact of the crisis on the economic security of the enterprise using a standardized integrated index of economic security. An algorithm of step-by-step increase in relevance of the analysis of the level of economic security is introduced. Practical value. The developed mathematical apparatus can be used both for scientific research on various aspects of economic security of enterprises, and for practical purposes to predict the impact of the consequences of the economic crisis and implement measures to prevent them. Using this mathematical apparatus, the analysis and forecast of profitability of industrial enterprises as a whole and by its individual branches were carried out. The results of this analysis can be used by the management of small, medium and large enterprises to develop production plans in a crisis.

Abstract:
PurposeThis study has two aims. It aims to analyse three essential pre-conditions of an authentic sustainability curriculum (ASC). The theoretical analysis involves the definition of authenticity through the learning outcomes (LOs) framework called authentic minimum (AM). This paper also aims to gauge students’ views on economic growth, sustainability and mindfulness.Design/methodology/approachThe theoretical aim was accomplished by extensive study of and critical reflections on the relevant literature. The empirical research was qualitative using an online questionnaire as survey instrument consisting of predominantly open-ended questions involving students of two economic faculties. Directed content analysis and nonparametric quantitative methods were used to assess the answers.FindingsViable sustainability goals are in stark contrast with the promotion of sustainable economic growth in sustainable development goals 8 and the reigning neoliberal agenda. The empirical findings provide valuable insights into how undergraduate students view mindfulness, economic growth and aspects of sustainability.Research limitations/implicationsThe empirical research has some obvious limitations that warrant caution in generalizing the results. The authors used a sample of convenience and the base population of the survey consisted only in students of economics in two economic faculties of two Hungarian universities.Practical implicationsPractical implications of the present paper are many all sharing; however, the need for existential courage on the part of teachers, students and leaders of higher education institutions. Existential courage is required for profound personal transformation, for going against mainstream ideology and the possible confrontations with colleagues, leaders of institutions, students, friends or family members.Originality/valueOn the theoretical side, the concept of ASC was introduced with AM as its LOs framework. For the first time, an attempt was made to interpret authenticity in sustainability education as an integration of mindfulness, human and environmental ethics and a firm opposition to economic growth and neoliberal ideals. The analysis of qualitative data supported earlier research and also provided unique findings in the examined areas.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the questions of assessments of the quality of the organization of entrepreneurial activity as the most important managerial function in the work of legal entities, that form the basis of the national economic potential and competitiveness of the domestic economy. It presented the upshots of tested static and dynamic methods on the example of a specific legal entity, allowing to determine the result-effectiveness and expenses-effectiveness of organization of entrepreneurial activity, and the degree of their impact on changes in the result and expenses, which are the basic criteriaes (indicators) of the success of building business processes. The conducted research is focused on the proposals and argumentation of ways to improve the quality of the organization of entrepreneurial activity of this legal entity (corporation) through the analysis of selected indicators with using a computational and constructive method in combination with elements of mathematical analysis and logarithm, which gives the maximal accurate parameters. The conducted research is focused on the proposals and arguments for determining directions for improving the quality of the organization of entrepreneurial activity of this legal entity (corporation) through the analysis of selected indicators using a computational and constructive method that gives the most accurate parameters in combination with elements of mathematical analysis. During the analysis were identified organizational entrepreneurial shortcomings. They are expressed in the corporation's shortfall in monetary resources due to an imbalance in result-effectiveness and expenses-effectiveness on the main and other types of activities. It needs to eliminate these shortcomings, which is possible, first of all, by improving its financial activities, which are currently causing significant losses.
