Abstract:

Even if that prediction turns out to be too optimistic, blockchain’s legal implications cannot be neglected.

Abstract:
Abstract This article attempts to resituate the Greek regime of 4th of August 1936 within the wider context of interwar fascism in Europe and address it as fascist ideology and practice. It does so by pointing to the ways in which the biomedical discourse on gender and sexuality was pivotal in Ioannis Metaxas’s project in terms of playing a crucial role in normalising ideas of racial, class, sexual and gender hierarchy. The article has two areas of focus. The first approaches the eugenic discourse developed in Greece and Europe under liberal governments. This relied on the premise that the mental or psychic disorders it accounted for, identified mainly among the lower classes, were diagnosed as diseases of the ‘libidinous libido’ when it came to criminality, poverty, strikes, psychic diseases and brutal deaths. The second area of focus reveals how, once trained to detect biological and psychical anomalies, Metaxas’s regime managed to perform something that now gives the impression of a magic trick: by waving the wand of psychiatric technocracy over a scene of profound economic inequality, it cultivated an authoritarian, patriarchal, biomedical discourse on psychic normality.

Abstract:
The research objectives are to (1) analyze the sustainable entrepreneurship of liberica coffee, and (2) analyze and simulate the model of sustainable entrepreneurship development of liberica coffee in West Tanjung Jabung Regency. The research was conducted in West Tanjung Jabung Regency by selecting one sub-district, namely Betara District. The research period was eight months. The research objects are Liberica coffee sustainable entrepreneurship (farmer’s welfare and global competitiveness). Research data was sourced from primary data and secondary data. Primary data was taken by means of observation, direct interviews, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD), while secondary data were obtained from related government agencies/other institutions, and jounrals. Respondents or household units of analysis were taken by simple random sampling in each village of as many as 35 farmer respondents, totaling 105 households. Data were analyzed by descriptive, multiple regression statistical test and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through the Linear Structural Relationship (LISREL) program. The results showed the sustainable entrepreneurship of Liberika coffee. Liberica coffee entrepreneurship in the research area has a high level of sustainability, both ecological sustainability, economic sustainability, and social sustainability. The results of the analysis show that the sustainable entrepreneurship of Liberica coffee has a highly concrete and significant positive effect on the welfare of farmers, but sustainable entrepreneurship does not have a significant effect on global competitiveness.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Coffee constitutes a plant product high in economic value. Extremely abundant throughout Indonesia, different varieties can be found in each region. Coffee leaves represent a by-product of coffee production which are disposed of without being subjected to further processing. One advantage of coffee leaf waste is that it can be made into coffee leaf tea, to prevent various diseases. The caffeine and tannin content can be optimized by temperature and brewing time. Research on coffee leaf tea remains limited, with little study of Liberica coffee leaf tea. This investigation was to determine the optimal brewing time and temperature of Robusta (Coffea canephora) and Liberica (Coffea liberica) coffee leaf tea. This research used the Response Surface Methodology (RSM) method with Central Composite Design (CCD). Data analysis using RSM method was conducted incorporating two factors. The first factor was the brewing temperature with a minimum value of 91 °C and a maximum value of 99 °C. The second factor was brewing time with minimum and maximum values of three and seven minutes respectively. Identifying the optimal treatment was based on two factors, caffeine and tannin content. Optimized processes were applied to conduct organoleptic tests on 110 untrained panelists using the Rate-All-That-Apply (RATA) method to highlight the majority attributes experienced by the panelists. The optimal brewing temperature and duration for robusta coffee leaf tea were 93.43 °C and 4.80 minutes which produced caffeine and tannin levels of 74.90 mg.100mL-1 and 293.01 µg.g-1 respectively. In contrast, in the case of Liberica coffee leaf tea, the optimal brewing conditions comprised a temperature of 91.65 °C and duration of 4.84 minutes which produced caffeine and tannin levels of 72.52 mg.100mL-1 and 415.87 µg.g-1. Results of sensory analysis showed that the majority produced five significant characteristics, namely: sweet flavor, fire flavor, sweet taste, bitter taste and astringent mouthfeel.

Abstract:
AbstractIt remains to some extent unknown the theoretical approach taken by Adalberto Libera while he was Director of the INA-Casa programme’s technical office (1949-1951). This Italian social housing programme promoted the construction of more than 350,000 homes between 1949 and 1963, highly influenced by the norms set by Libera’s department at a key moment for the assimilation of modern housing types in Italy. It is even less well known the extensive theoretical work on housing developed by Libera while he was retired in Trento during the war, which became essential to be appointed as Director of the INA-Casa’s technical office. Libera designed types and groupings of housing according to not only spatial but also socio-economic conditions of the prospective owners. In this sense, Libera’s work was not only graphic: he also deeply reflected on the problem of dwelling and on the inhabitant. This article delves into these housing studies in order to reveal how they influenced the character of the architecture promoted by the INA-Casa programme —i.e., the construction of its architectural discourse. To do so, it relies on the still unpublished material that makes up his study (texts, charts, perspectives and sketches), as well as on the two manuals published by the INA-Casa programme to regulate the design principles of its architecture. The aim is, therefore, twofold: to shed light on an unknown moment of the author’s work and to discuss its historical significance as a key piece of Italy’s largest post-war social housing plan.

Abstract:
The objective of this study was to determine the effects of wood, cigarette and marijuana smoke on the reproductive health of tandoor occupants. A total of 100 male individuals were selected (50 control and 50 tandoor occupants). A standard questionnaire was designed regarding their age, economic status, marital status, fuel type, exposure time (per day), use of mask, addiction and reproductive health. Morning blood samples of 5 mL of the size were taken from all participants. Serums were obtained and analyzed for total serum testosterone concentration. Bio-check (USA) kit was used according to the manufacturer protocol and procedures for testosterone analysis. In control group the mean ± SEM of total serum testosterone was 671.9 ± 20.02 ng/dl where as in tandoor occupants it was 542.7 ± 16.40 ng/dl. There was a significant reduction (P**** < 0.0001) in total serum testosterone concentration in tandoor occupants as compared to control group. Reproductive health problems like, low libido, erection problems, infertility, decreased frequency for shaving and absent morning and nocturnal erection were common in tandoor occupants as compared to control group. Wood, cigarette and marijuana smoke negatively affects testosterone concentration and lowers it significantly. This reduced testosterone concentration then produces ill effects like low libido, erection problems, infertility and absent morning and nocturnal erection.

Abstract:
This paper analyzes Hwang Dong-gyu’s representative works in the early, middle, and late stages of his life, regarding the libido, and examines how they took on the nature of healing by perceiving themselves as a phenomenology of the soul. Hwang Dong-gyu’s poems were consistently written by stimulating and responding to inner energy. In the case of <Bi-ga>, it contributes to strengthening and revitalizing one’s libido through the stability of the rhythm . And mid-term poem deals with anger’s libido against politically oppressive situations instead of simply emphasizing an ideology. <Pung-jang>, a poem written later in his life, also shows the spirit’s desire for freedom and liberation, indicating that his main consciousness lies in the liberation and progress of the soul. This aspect can be said to be the essence of healing. It also implies a transformation of the libido, which corresponds to a change in the topological structure of the human body. The concept of topological structure of the human body, which represents a microscopic energy field, tells us that life’s energy can only be enhanced when density caused by external environmental factors is diminished.

Abstract:
The time-invariable models would suffer to give a clearer description to the relationship between exchange rate and trade flows. Therefore, the growing strand of literature has failed to reach a consensus. This study aims to contribute to this discussion by employing not only nonlinear model to capture the asymmetric effect, but also to detect the time frequencies and explore the lead-lag relations between real exchange rate and trade balance between Libya and its major trade partner ‘Turkey’ by applying both NARDL and wavelet coherence approaches, using monthly data spanning January 2013 to December 2020, selected based on data availability. The findings disclose that trade balance responds to the real exchange rate asymmetrically. The asymmetric effect is skewed more in the negative direction, as the impact of negative change is significant and greater than the positive change in long run. While the oil price shocks positively impact trade balance, economic policy uncertainty negatively affects trade balance. The wavelet coherence analysis indicates that real exchange rate and economic policy uncertainty are lagging in trade balance, while oil price leads trade balance. Among various other policy suggestions, we recommend that stable exchange rate through the intervention in the foreign exchange market will promote the trade balance at the end.

Abstract:
The economic and public health burdens of unplanned pregnancies are evident globally. Since the introduction of the condom >300 years ago, assumptions about male willingness to participate in contraception, as well as concerns about failure rates and side effects, have stagnated the development of additional reversible male contraceptives. However, changing attitudes and recent research advances have generated renewed interest in developing reversible male contraceptives. To achieve effective and reversible suppression of spermatogenesis, male hormonal contraception relies on suppression of testicular testosterone and sperm production using an androgen-progestin combination. While these may be associated with side effects—changes in libido, weight, hematocrit, and cholesterol—recently, novel androgens and progestins have shown promise for a “male pill” with reduced side effects. Here we summarize landmark studies in male contraceptive development, showcase the most recent advances, and look into the future of this field, which has the potential to greatly impact global public health.

Having more than one wife for Madurese Kyai is not unusual. In fact, parents would feel proud and happy when their daughters are proposed to be one of the Kyai’s wifes. This discussion exclude the fact of socio economic factors and the low level of knowledge and education among Madurese girls. In this context, some Kyais that served as role models and religious leaders, have taken the benefit through the theological proposition that polygamy is the sunnah of the Prophet and Islam. It is urgent then to reconstruct the paradigms of some kyais and Madurese community. Applying a contemporary socio humanities approach and Feminist Islamic analysis, the article constitutes that polygamy is the result of unfair religious interpretations of gender. In this regard, polygamy is a crime in the form of marriage since polygamy is only for the man’s libido and sexual modus. In other word, polygamy violates women and children’s human rights.

Abstract:
Discussion on problems of climate and environmental changes i.e. global warming has inundated in recent years. Every major newspaper publishes multiple editorials or op- ed pieces on the topic, the broadcast media and researchers regularly discuss the issue, and thousands of Web pages and blogs provide definitions and information and suggest causes and consequences of action and inaction. Under the situation why are we adding to congestion on the subject? Because the analysis of past has much to contribute, especially in understanding prospects of adapting to climate change, which has received relatively little study and comment relative to the standing it should take in the debate [Gary D. Libecap and Rechard H. Steckel, 2011]. At the outset, it is to be noted that in the present paper science of climate change is not evaluated as author is not the expertise to contribute on this matter but the paper respond to economic effects of the climate and environmental changes.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
Sexual changes in pregnancy remains a rarely discussed topic here in India because of social taboos and the embarrassment couples face in discussing these issues. To highlight the sexual changes that take place in all three trimesters of pregnancy and to evaluate the various factors which influence it. A cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out in the department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.. Two hundred and five consenting women were asked open end questions about their sexual health and variation in the different trimesters. Women with complications like any bleeding or leaking in pregnancy were excluded from the study. Factors affecting their sexual life were taken into account. Data was summarized using descriptive statistics and analysed in SPSS software. Our study showed a decline in the frequency of sexual activity by the third trimester with the percentage of women engaging in sexual activities in the first, second and third trimester being 36.6%, 43.9% and 6.3% respectively. Around 9.8% women totally refrained from coitus throughout pregnancy. Libido was found to decrease in 38% of women. The prohibiting factors for coitus included the risk of preterm labour, bleeding and chances of infection to the baby. None of these couple thought of seeking a health professional’s advise for their sexual problems. Counselling for sexual health must be initiated by the health workers as it will help couples who are embarrassed to discuss these issues owing to the social and cultural norms. This will help to bridge the communication barrier and will be instrumental to a healthy sexual life of married couples who are expecting a child. Sexual health in pregnant women largely remains a less discussed topic. There is a decline in coital frequency during pregnancy. There are many factors like fear of harming of the fetus which women do not discuss with their health-care providers.

Abstract:
This study describes and compares the long-term socio-economic impact for patients diagnosed with a vestibular schwannoma and either operated on or observed.A consecutive sample of patients diagnosed with vestibular schwannoma in Denmark and either operated on (748 patients) or observed by the wait-and-re-scan policy (272 patients) during the period 1976-2000 were studied retrospectively. The consequences of operation/diagnosis (andobservation) on vocational status, ability to handle daily chores and some psycho-social aspects were studied by means of a prospective postal questionnaire. Ninety-six per cent of the operated and 83 per cent of the observed patients answered the questionnaire. Overall, 34 per cent of operated patients resumed their daily activities within one to two months, and 76 per cent within four to six months. Patients operated on for a large tumour resumed their daily activities later than patients with a small tumour. Regardless of tumour size, employment was unchanged for the majority of observed and operated patients. The vocational consequences were significantly worse for operated patients with a large tumour, than for observed patients. However, no difference existed between the observed group and operated patients with a tumour below 20 mm in size. A change in vocational status was most frequent for assisting spouses, unskilled manual workers and the self-employed. The majority of both observed and operated patients experienced no change in their ability to handle daily chores. The changed ability of operated patients was worse than that of observed patients. Among various changes in their psycho-social well-being, decrease in social ability was the most frequent complaint in both groups, followed by increased fatigue, decreased concentration, increased irritability, depression and headache, decreased intellect and libido. Regardless of tumour size, the change in social ability, concentration and fatigue was worse for operatedpatients. Concerning headache, patients operated on for a large tumour were better off than observed patients and patients operated on fora small tumour. There was no difference between the operated and observed groups concerning irritability, intellect and libido.Deterioration of vocational status, ability to handle daily chores and several aspects of psycho-social well-being are reported both by patients operated on and observed for vestibular schwannoma. However, the negative changes were more frequent among the operated patients, although the differences were surprisingly modest, especially when comparing observed patients with patients operated on for a small tumour.

Abstract:
The environment becomes an important part of human life, without which humans would not be able to survive in the world. However, with the greedy nature and economic libido makes people forget and neglect the risks that will be experienced. This happens because human awareness of their responsibilities as kholifah in charge of balancing the condition of the earth has vanished. This ecological awareness comes from the beliefs of every individual. So that the function of religion is expected to be a role of view in human life in order to preserve the environment as a form of ijtihad for the earth. The more so it can integrate the teachings of monotheism, and Sufism should be compounded with the teachings of fiqh so that the concept of an holistic-integral environment appears. In this case a religious leader has a very important role as an agent of change, as well as being able to provide confidence, motivation and solutions in restoring the ecological crisis that has plagued Indonesia and even the world. Although not all kiai have the same role, at least they have a breath of fresh air in an environmental problem with a religious perspective.

Abstract:
Wyoming's Johnson County War of 1892 is the historical basis of later popular depictions of the West as violent, and it influenced the development of Wyoming. Many see this era as the end of the open range system and the ascendancy of stock ranching and farming. Popular depiction argues that the event was an act of vigilantism of large foreign-owned firms against small individual settlers. We argue that the war was a conflict of property rights systems and use a model developed by Alston, Libecap, and Mueller to explain why violence broke out in Johnson County in 1892.Richer (the Rancher): We made this country. Found it and we made it … Made a safe range out of this. Some us died doin' it. We made it. Then people move in who never held a rawhide through the old days. Fenced off my range. Fenced me off from water. Some of them like you paw ditches, and take out irrigation water, and so the creek runs dry sometimes, and I got to move my stock because of it. And you say we have no rights to the range.Stark (the Homesteader): You talk about rights. You think you got the right to say that nobody else has got any. Well, that ain't the way the government looks at it. Shane [Paramount Pictures, 1953]

Abstract:

Abstract:
Assessing the fertility of bullocks preceding to use as breeding animals make apparent economic if it were possible. Fertility is not possible predicted by means of a breeding soundness evaluation (BSE), but by the application of minimum standards to a set of accepted procedures, which supports informed decision makers to the breeding potential of the bullock. An bullocks found to satisfy these criteria in Central Performance Testing (CPT) known as Phase C, is reckoned to be breeding sound (BS). Furthermore, breeding success depends on the reproductive performance of both the cow and the bull. Breeding bull is likely to service a large number of heifers or cows in planned breeding season. The efficiency of a bullock can be based on the average daily gain (ADG) and feed conversion ratio (FCR) but poor breeding sound evaluation can be regarded as infertile. Bull breeding soundness evaluations (BSEs) are significant economic management of beef herd management and depends on adequate semen quality, physical soundness and serving capacity. Furthermore, assessment of scrotal circumference (SC), libido, testicular measurement and semen parameters often not done during a routine breeding soundness examination. The aim of this study was to depict using BSE whether bullocks would be fertile under Phase C. The relationship of BSE and production characteristics in central performance testing is challenging to identify fertility in bullocks within 112 given days of CPT. This study investigated performance data extracted from Integrated Registration and Genetic Information System (Intergis) managed by Agricultural Research Council Glen Bull Testing Centre. There were three breeds investigated, namely, Simmentaler, Santa Gertrudis and Limousin for the period of 2007 to 2017, were analysed to determine the dominance and importance of factors affecting breeding soundness classification.

Abstract:
High-fertile and productive dairy animals are important to satisfy the growing population's demand. Sire fertility is one of the essential factors that regulate the overall pregnancy rate of dairy herds. However, sire fertility varies from 10 to 90%, suggesting that male fertility largely accounts for varying fertility levels across the herd. Sub-fertile bulls and females should be identified and discarded promptly to improve the dairy herd's productivity. The most dominant factors implicated in culling are poor semen quality, poor semen freezability (<35% post-thaw motility), and poor libido for the bulls and hard breeders for females that cause huge economic loss to the raisers. Understanding the basic mechanism of male and female fertility has undergone tremendous change in recent times owing to the advancement of molecular tools judging the essential molecules responsible for fertility. Presently, a new molecular niche has surfaced in testes, strongly influencing the fertilization potential of spermatozoa. Over the last decade, there has arrived a conclusion that out of several factors, piRNA and PIWI proteins are largely implicated in regulating the vital aspects of fertility and embryogenesis. While this development is advancing in other animals, very limited information is available on PIWI protein and piRNAs in large animals. Except for a few sporadic information on PIWI protein in cattle, very limited information is available on piRNAs and PIWI protein in regulation with buffalo bull fertility and growth of embryos of buffaloes, posting a huge demand for research.

Abstract Introduction: In the Philippines, the National Council on Disability made a survey revealing a prevalence of 43.367 disabled who lost one or both legs and/or feet. This study explored the challenges encountered and coping mechanisms an amputee manifests, and the assistance that they get from their expected support system. Methodology: This case study was anchored on Dorothea Orem’s Self-Care Theory of Nursing. Four purposively sampled amputee informants were interviewed and observed. Primary and secondary data were gathered and triangulation with the relatives was done to ensure the validity and depth of the results. Data were encoded and analyzed using thematic analysis. Results: Results revealed that the informants experienced physical, psychological, emotional, socio-economic, and spiritual challenges. Physical challenges involved mobility problem and lack of gait balance, physical deformity, adjustment to the new body, altered physical appearance, a sedentary behavior, and phantom pain. Psychological challenges involved suicidal tendency, loss of libido, self-pity, and depression. Emotional challenges included fear and hopelessness. Socio-economic challenges involved the development of anti-social behavior, dissociative behavior, fear of losing a job, problem with money, and fear of rejection. Spiritual challenges involved loss of faith. Coping mechanism included support from family and friends, mastery of gait and balance, proper practice in using assistive devices, hastened adjustment to the new body, wearing of prosthesis, medication and mobility, and trust in God. Although they get strong support from the family and friends, there is very limited assistance from the government and the community. Discussion: There is a need to increase family awareness in anticipating the needs of the amputees. Likewise, full support must be given to them. Health education campaign may be formulated by the local health leaders and provision of assistive devices and equipment to achieve the equalization and opportunities for persons with disabilities may also be done.

Abstract:

Abstract:
We live in strange times - times of change, crises, pandemics, conflicts and even wars. Throughoutmillennia of written and unwritten history humanity has learned to change, evolve and survive. This same changeoccurred for all of us at the beginning of 2020 when a new strain of the genus coronaviruses (Coronaviridae), startedfrom a local epidemic with the first case at the end of 2019, was reported in a province of Wuhan China. It becamea pandemic that spread with incredible speed around the world, thus entering everyone's life. The massive shock ofthe new coronavirus plunged the economy into the worst recession since World War II, causing global supply toshrink and even stop and the subsequent stalling of globalisation. This study analyzes the main economic trends, market structure and economic impact on health after the beginning of COVID-19. The study looks at therelationship between physical and mental health, laboratory tests, protective goods, medicines, vaccines and servicesafter the onset of and during COVID-19. Abstract:
One of the main democratic institutions in Russia is local selfgovernment (LSG). This institution is characterized by instability of legal regulation, which is reflected in regular changes and amendments to existing laws. The most significant transformation of the Institute of LSG was in 2003–2009, when the «big» municipal reform was carried out. In 2014, a «small» reform of the LSG was launched, which made it possible to introduce a two-level system of city administration. The new model of local government organization operates only in three cities – Chelyabinsk, Makhachkala and Samara. The purpose of the article is to understand the reasons for the transition of some cities to a new system of organization of local government. The conceptual foundations of the article are the structure-oriented approach of D. North, the «distributional» theory of institutional changes of G. Libecap, and the political and economic approach of D. Acemoglu and G. Robinson's. The research is based on the theory of reforms by J. Roland. The author concluded that limited political autonomy at the bodies and local self-government officials, the lack of mayors during the period of reforms Governor-cartridge a result of the change of the head of the region, the timing of the reform with the end of the term of powers of authorities and local selfgovernment officials, as well as the inclusion of regional authorities compensatory strategies for the urban ruling elite, are factors, which contributed to the implementation of institutional reform. It is shown that the obstacles that prevented the «small» reform of the local government act of political autonomy from consolidated municipal ruling elite, interested in preserving the status quo; the existence of an urban political machine; the lack of compensation of the urban ruling elite for losses which are due to the implementation of the reform; the discrepancy between the time of the reform by the end of the term of authorities and local self-government officials.
