Abstract:
Unemployment and scarcity of job opportunities count as major problems suffered in villages, especially by the youth. To this end, rural entrepreneurship, particularly in tourism and ecotourism sector, may contribute to the growth of rural economy through strategic and forward-looking planning along with other factors. Innovation and creativity are turning into one of the essential ingredients of continued development. Rural museums, such as “Eco-museum”, are one of the measures taken with regard to protecting various material and spiritual phenomena resulting from traditional habitats. “Eco-museums” can be deemed as a project to support sustainability, and a significant factor for development of entrepreneurship and businesses, especially small- and medium-sized businesses. Espidan, a village in North Khorasan province of Iran, can exert such an effect and play such a role as an eco-museum. Through library resources and field studies, the present study attempts to examine the potentials of Espidan for strengthening its rural tourist properties and fulfilment of ecotouristic objectives in line with three main criteria: public contribution, exclusive eco-museum activities, and creating social, cultural and natural conditions (the determining the vital conditions for a place to evolve into an eco-museum). A study and evaluation of the recommended criteria in Espidan indicates that the village demonstrates considerable potentials for evolving into an eco-museum. As effective steps towards achieving continued development, practical solutions have been proposed for fulfilment of eco-museum objectives as such an evolution into an eco-museum can result in rural entrepreneurship.

Abstract:
There is no doubt that innovations represented key source of competitive advantage in the last years. Therefore, firms were forced to come up with new or significantly improved goods, services as well as organizational and marketing practices. However, countries, firms and policy makers are facing great environmental challenges for sustainable development and entrepreneurship, which create large demand for Eco-innovations with environmental benefits nowadays. For these reasons, we are analyzing different factors influencing creation of firms´ Eco-innovations in the EU. To obtain an interpretable model of firms´ Eco-innovations and their determinants, we use fuzzy rule-based classification models and latest available data form Community Innovation Survey 2012-2014 created by Eurostat. Our results show that firms´ Eco-innovations are influenced by different factors according to the nature of innovation (product, process, organizational, marketing) in the EU. Public financial subsidies and firms´ environment (e.g. existing environmental regulations, taxes, charges or fees, market demand, and costs of inputs) play key role in the process of creation Eco-innovation with environmental benefits. These results show possible ways how support sustainable entrepreneurship and regional (national) development not only within analyzed countries. We provide initial analysis dealing with different kinds of Eco-innovations and its determinants that could help firms to develop and enhance their corporate innovation and environmental policies. These results could also inspire policy makers at different levels because we propose some practical implications. Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explain the influence of human capital (HC) on the organizations in terms of eco-innovative entrepreneurship, and the existing relations of these resources with economic and financial resources as well as other capabilities of the firms. A secondary challenge in the research is to define and measure the availability of HC in firms for those eco-innovative processes. Design/methodology/approach The targeted population for the study was eight eco-innovative companies in Spain. Within each company, a detailed CEO questionnaire was collected to measure HR information, certification or the existence of internal initiatives to promote eco/innovation, and secondary source records to measure economic and financial performance. This data collection strategy eliminated the possibility of percept-percept bias, since the data for each stage of the model were collected from different sources. The database has been analyzed through a qualitative comparative analysis (QCA). Findings The main conclusion from the QCA analysis indicates that the role of the specialized HC involved in the R&D and innovation activities, the environmental management of firms and the resources (energy) management are relevant factors in the eco-innovative process and they have to be specifically managed for the development of eco-innovations. The qualitative analysis shows that firms that devoted specialized HC to the eco-innovation activities are companies at least ten years old, which have R&D and innovation departments as well as a specific department for the environmental management. They have been certified through some environmental certification standards, have human resources devoted to the product design, promote entrepreneurship for innovation among their own employees and also have higher than the sector average rates of leverage. Research limitations/implications The main limitation of this paper is linked to the number of analyzed study cases, although all of them are sufficiently representative. Nevertheless, given that the empirical research addressing the interrelated factors of eco-innovation and HC is still not abundant, this study provides an interesting starting point for discussion and the improvement of the qualitative method applied in this paper. Moreover, further research is still needed to fully elucidate how the corporate entrepreneurship is promoted to respond to the eco-innovation strategy of firms, as well as to deeply explore the characteristics of the intellectual capital concerned to the eco-innovation processes. Originality/value As a novel application, the influence of HC in organizations in terms of eco-innovative entrepreneurship has been analyzed through the measurement of the level of HC specifically devoted to eco-innovation in eight eco-innovative companies. One of the contributions of this study is to define the variables to measure the HC that is available for eco-innovation in an eco-innovative firm. The main conclusions are of interest to practitioners concerning the eco-innovation development in firms.

Abstract:
After the UN’s adoption of 17 Sustainable Development Goals in 2015, it became clear that the relationship between sustainability and entrepreneurship was an area for re-examination. Traditional measures of entrepreneurial success rested largely on economic indicators; observatories like the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) extended them, including cultural and social indicators. There is now a real need to measure and analyze the relationship between sustainable entrepreneurship and eco-innovation and drive positive economic activity outcomes, sustainable development, and social welfare. For GEM’s consideration, this paper proposes a reimagined tool by which to measure sustainable entrepreneurship and eco-innovation in businesses and assess their level of alignment with UN SDGs. Specifically, it presents a new measurement method, incorporating, but simplifying, a complex range of variables, which can be crystallized into a set of items (questions) to determine businesses’ commitment to entrepreneurship sustainability—social, economic, and environmental. The results can be cross-referenced with other relevant variables, and indicators proposed by the UN, to determine what causal or explanatory relationships might or might not exist. The proposal represents a valuable extension to existing data gathering tools, and will be of use to researchers and practitioners in the field of entrepreneurship—especially as its sustainability credentials and environmental impact are in the spotlight.

As it is known, China is a country with a long history, and in this Internet Age, changes are taking place in China at high speed. The new leadership of China is faced with a series of complex challenges. In September 2013, Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed a Silk Road Economic Belt and in October a 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road; together now referred to as the Belt and Road Initiative. The Initiative aims at building a community of shared interests, responsibility and destiny with mutual political trust, economic integration and cultural inclusiveness. Investments and trade cooperations are major tasks in building the Belt and Road. As a member of higher education community, how could we be of any assistance in solving the employment problem for the government, upgrade the traditional foreign trade for the enterprises and train innovative students for the society? Consequently, I select the theme Disruptive Innovation: Shifting the way of learning. And the title of my sharing is “New Learning, New Teaching, New Entrepreneurship & New Eco-sphere”.

Abstract:
Most entrepreneurship studies have an urban focus, and it is studied mainly from the perspective of opportunity exploitation. Rural entrepreneurship presents different characteristics, and it requires analysis from a resource-based view since this kind of entrepreneurial behavior takes place in rural communities under resource constraints. The sustainable livelihood perspective represents a relevant framework in rural entrepreneurship, considering resources and capacities to face poverty in rural areas. Therefore, this study presents a literature review to identify current and emerging issues in rural entrepreneurship from a sustainable livelihood framework. The literature review identifies that the main concepts involved in rural entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihood are women, poverty alleviation, youth, social entrepreneurship, and institutions. Likewise, social capital and human capital prevail as the most relevant capitals in the analyzed documents. The study offers research opportunities in emerging issues related to social entrepreneurship, governance and institutions, livelihood growth, and eco-entrepreneurship for extending the boundaries of rural entrepreneurship from the sustainable livelihood framework.

Abstract:
This paper aims to contribute to the rapidly growing transnational immigrant entrepreneurship (TIE) literature by empirically exploring eco-factors and components from entrepreneurial ecosystem perspectives. Through content analysis of the TIE concepts and definitions of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, the study defines the concept of the immigrant entrepreneurial ecosystem and suggests it as an instrument for studying the relationship between immigrant firms and their business environment. Case studies and qualitative analysis examines and evaluates the dual (host- and home-country) entrepreneurial ecosystem (DEE) and its eco-factors and components. Case studies show cultural norms, in particular, home-country national values and family values, are key players in transnational entrepreneurs who engage in transnational entrepreneurship. The research results support that the DEE framework is a key instrument for the study of the determination of transnational immigrant entrepreneurs’ motivation, strategy, and outcomes. This research theoretically contributes to TIE literature by finding new influential eco-factors and components, thus, enhancing the DEE framework. It also provides suggestions to policymakers and practitioners and further research directions.

Abstract:
Eco-innovations have become a clear target of EU policy strategies. Consequently, measuring eco-innovation performance at the country level has become crucial to detect eco-innovation patterns and to design eco-innovation policy implementation. This paper focuses on EU small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with the aim to understand to what extent EU funding programmes influence barriers and drivers towards SMEs’ eco-innovation performance. A correlation analysis between data from Eco-Innovation Scoreboard index and competitiveness and innovation framework programme/Entrepreneurship and innovation programme/Eco-innovation programme projects database reveals that the countries with the highest number of EU funded projects are those with the lowest levels of green early-stage investments. According to the findings, EU funding programmes reduce financial constraints that SMEs face for developing eco-innovations. This paper recommends that policymakers should keep in mind the dynamic interaction between private and public funding support, the latter is customised according to the entity of risk along the innovation cycle. Abstract:
Green entrepreneurship is an important phenomenon from the point of view of economic development. However, the topic has not been sufficiently analysed and knowledge in this area is not systematised. Supporting the development of green enterprises and increasing the resilience of the economy and natural ecosystems requires a more in-depth analysis of the conditions and factors that influence the development of green entrepreneurship. Green (or ecological) entrepreneurship is closely related to the textile sector, which should be particularly interested in the introduction of various types of eco-innovations that reduce or prevent negative environmental impacts while contributing to the achievement of competitive advantage and profitability. The textile sector is focused on sustainability issues – both in terms of environmental protection and global social responsibility. The goal of this paper is to organise knowledge on the phenomenon of green entrepreneurship and to analyse the prospects of its development in the light of opinions of Polish textile industry entrepreneurs. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 56 Polish companies from the textile industry. The results obtained indicate that Polish textile industries are interested in implementing all kinds of eco-innovations concentrated in the so-called environmental management system, which should become part of any organisation in the sector analysed. The paper is divided into three main parts. In the first part the phenomenon of green entrepreneurship is characterised. Then the methodology of the survey is presented. The final part is a presentation of results of the survey conducted in Polish textile industry enterprises.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to analyze the state of implementation of modern eco-innovations and assess their impact on improving the competitiveness of enterprises. Methodology. The main research methods were analysis and synthesis in the study of economic processes that accompanied innovation in enterprises; statistical analysis in the study of the dynamics of waste by type of economic activity and in households; comparative analysis in assessing the world practice of eco-innovation in production; specific and abstract comparative characteristics – in presenting the results, providing conclusions and suggestions for research. Results. Interactive links between innovation and greening are identified. It is emphasized that eco-innovation means a special form of innovation aimed at significantly improving the environment. A critical analysis of the regulatory framework governing sustainable development in Ukraine is made. A statistical assessment of the waste generation process by regions of Ukraine in 2019, including hazard classes I-III, is provided. A secondary statistical observation was conducted, based on the results of which it can be concluded that today three out of twenty people in the world prefer ecological products. It is stated that modern enterprises face a large number of challenges, among which the leading place is occupied by environmental protection and digitalization. The importance of digital, blue and green entrepreneurship (circular business) in Ukraine and the world is proved. The competitive advantages of “digital”, “green” (“blue”) business are obvious: environmental friendliness today is a global trend, and digitalization is the content and benchmark of entrepreneurship; there is currently little competition in green and blue business; their products are in growing demand among consumers; in these types of business there are endless opportunities for the manifestation of creative innovative ideas; these types of business are supported by the public, the state and the world community; eco-innovation can significantly reduce business costs, create conditions for investment and access to foreign markets. Practical implications. These practical recommendations can be applied not only in the Ukrainian business space, but also in the business of countries that have chosen sustainable development. Value/originality. The conducted research can become a theoretical basis for practitioners who aim to provide competitive advantages by greening activities. It is established that the competitive advantages of business today are formed under the influence of globalization processes, digitalization, increasing capital mobility, informatization, and most importantly – improving environmental living standards.

Abstract:
Aligning with the achievement of the sustainable development goals (SDGs) agenda in 2030 and the G-20 presidency in Indonesia, a study was conducted on entrepreneurship learning in higher education. The purpose of this research is to explore the relationship between green economy, green entrepreneurial orientation and green entrepreneurial intention among university students. Educational institutions as stakeholders are responsible for organizing entrepreneurship learning that is in line with global community commitments in dealing with climate change and achieving sustainable prosperity. The study involved 175 business school students in Jakarta using convenience sampling. The results show the direct effect of green economy and green entrepreneurial orientation on green entrepreneurial intention and the formation of a mediating effect through green entrepreneurial orientation. The significance of the three variables forms the green triangle model so that it can be considered as a basis for learning mechanisms for eco-friendly entrepreneurship. Efforts to foster student interest are formed through green entrepreneurial orientation so that this construct is important in building environmentally-oriented entrepreneurship. Stakeholder collaboration is needed in implementing green entrepreneurship as pathway in an achieving SDGs agenda and dealing with climate change.

Abstract:
Informal enterprises and their activities dominate the economy of the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). However, despise the increasing volume of eco-innovation research in recent years, the drivers of the eco-innovation of small medium enterprises (SMEs) in the informal sector remain largely unknown. Drawing from a triple theoretical anchoring method (entrepreneurship theory, shareholder theory, and resource theory), this study tests the validity of a set of eco-innovation drivers developed around the concept among firms of the informal sector in Ghana. The conceptual framework was tested using structural equation modeling and the data were obtained using the World Bank’s Ghana Informal Enterprise Survey (GIFS) as an area-based frame to survey 285 local entrepreneurs (n = 285). The results confirmed that informal enterprises do eco-innovate (mainly incremental innovation), and that innovation activities are driven by a government’s incentive regulations, market demand, and local entrepreneurs’ characteristic of hometown identity. This research highlights the contributions of the informal sector to sustainable development and draws the attention of policymakers, non-government agencies, and researchers on the drivers leading eco-innovation activities in the informal sector. The results could be used for future policy formulation.

Abstract:
Title – xCRUZA ' s portable solar cooker: eco-entrepreneurism challenges in Argentina. Subject area – Entrepreneurship. Level/applicability – The portable solar cooker case is appropriate for upper division undergraduate and graduate students in entrepreneurship, international, strategy or sustainability courses. Case overview – xCRUZA, a small industrial design studio in Buenos Aires, Argentina, has experienced limited success and expansion since the company was founded in 2005. Focusing on eco design principles, xCRUZA has maintained an eclectic design mix pertaining to product development in children ' s toys, medicine, and cleaning products. Challenged by a struggling Argentine economy, a population not focused on environmental concerns, and a general lack of capital availability, the founders of xCRUZA chose to design, develop, market and sell a portable solar cooker. The cooker was originally designed by two of the founders while studying engineering at university. While innovative and award winning in design, xCRUZA ' s solar cooker has proven to be a challenge to the founders ' success both in getting their product to market and fulfilling the mission of the studio. Expected learning outcomes – The learning objectives for the case include: to explore the challenges of an entrepreneurial start-up dedicated to eco design and sustainability principles, to examine market opportunities and consider approaches to selling in dissimilar markets, generate a discussion on strategies that xCRUZA has and can employ, to analyze the mission and direction of xCRUZA. Are they on the right track? Supplementary materials – Teaching notes are available for educators only. Abstract:
Entrepreneurship education has the mandate to equip the youth with functional knowledge and skills to build up their character, attitude and vision. It has vital role in developing eco-system that promotes innovation and solving unemployment challenges of nations. Government of Ghana has initiated direct job creation interventions to address youth unemployment challenges. Examples include: Skill Training and Employment Placement (STEP) Programme (2002-2004), National Youth Employment Programme (NYEP), now Youth Employment Agency (YEA) in 2006, Youth Enterprise Support (YES), now National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP) in 2014, and the recent Nation Builders Corps. Despite the above efforts, unemployment rates in Ghana instead of reducing, increased from 2.15% in 2015, 2.26% in 2016 to 2.36% in 2017; whilst youth unemployment rate increased from 4.51% in 2015, 4.72% in 2016 to 4.9% in 2017. Therefore, this study attempts to conceptualize the relevance of entrepreneurial education to solving the youth unemployment challenges in Ghana. The study concluded that entrepreneurial education has the potentials of solving youth unemployment challenges in the society. Abstract:
Abstract Small and medium sized companies (SMEs) assure economic growth in Europe. The Environmental Technologies Action Plan (ETAP) concentrated and mobilized Member State and stakeholder efforts bringing eco-innovation from research to market, improving market conditions, opening up global markets. Rapid and reinforced actions are now required, building on the experience of ETAP helping SMEs to have benefits by introducing eco-innovative approaches into their operations. Particularly start-ups, can be the ideal incubators for eco-innovation, and can bring to market new, less environmentally damaging products, services and processes. Generally many SMEs are struggling to survive in an ongoing global recession and often they are becoming reluctant to release innovation, particularly eco-innovation (Assante et al., 2016). In this paper we present first the differences between eco-innovation based business models and those based on regular innovations. Secondly we give some approaches tested in national and European projects with participation of the authors in order to help SMEs to develop business models of eco-innovations. The first one is to build cooperation between researchers, educators and SME staff in order to explain SMEs the advantages of such models and to implement models designed by researchers. Secondly we used practice oriented forms of training for SMEs like Problem Based Learning (PBL) as an efficient form for SMEs and entrepreneurship education to learn to solve problems like the building of an eco-innovation business model. Thirdly we use in our projects eco-innovation biographies (EIBs) reflecting the evolutionary character of such innovations and the dynamics of related policy streams.

Abstract:
Entrepreneurship is currently a global concern as its great contribution and key solutions to the economy by providing more job opportunity, income generation area, the basis for technology transfer and development and non-economic with regard to sustaining political and social activities, increasing intention of equal resource sharing and active participation in economic development is gradually increasing. This significant contribution became challenged with many key determinant factors such as indigenous culture, local resources, eco-friendly environment and modern development strategies directly or indirectly with the power of influencing entrepreneurship development. This paper aims to assess the effect of indigenous culture, local resources, eco-friendly environment and modern development strategies on entrepreneurial development. As the nature of this study is exploratory, extensive review of literature through systematic, clear, and reproducible design for detecting, evaluating, and inferring the existing body of recorded 106 documents from published and unpublished journal articles, international reports and books related to issues was used as a secondary data source. The study pointed out that indigenous culture like indigenous leadership culture, indigenous team working and indigenous skills have a significant effect on entrepreneurial development; local resources such as infrastructure, local human capital and finance limitation, environmental marketing, innovation and distinctive competitive advantage have a significant impact on entrepreneurial development. The study implicates a distinctive gap between eco-friendly environmental theory and the practical application of green products for entrepreneurial development. Further empirical research will be needed for future studies. Finally, the study forwards future concern areas and recommends the value of this work with its limitations.

Abstract:
A big challenge in entrepreneurship is to ensure the sustainability of entrepreneurship. So far, the interest in doing business has not been followed by adequate capacity in running a business, including in the tourism sector and the marine sector. In this context, ecotourism in coastal areas has the potential to encourage the growth of entrepreneurship as an economic activity for the local community. This research was conducted on the Wonorejo Mangrove Ecotourism which is a tourist destination in Surabaya. This research was conducted using Force Field Analysis. The purpose of this study is to examine and explain forms of entrepreneurship based on the local economy. The results of this study indicate that the local potential-based entrepreneurship development model is supported by two approaches, namely intensification and extensification strategies. The main orientation of the objectives is the appropriateness of the target group and the effective sustainability of the program. Abstract:
This article develops an inter-disciplinary and trans-disciplinary framework of analysis that relates knowledge, innovation and the environment (natural environments) to each other. For that purpose the five-helix structure model of the Quintuple Helix is being introduced. The Triple Helix model, designed by Etzkowitz and Leydesdorff (2000), focuses on the relations of universities, industry and governments. The Quadruple Helix (Carayannis & Campbell, 2009) blends in the perspective of a media-based and culture-based public. The Quintuple Helix finally frames knowledge and innovation in the context of the environment (natural environments). Therefore, the Quintuple Helix can be interpreted as an approach in line with sustainable development and social ecology. “Eco-innovation” and “eco-entrepreneurship” should be processed in such a broader understanding of knowledge and innovation.

Eco-conscious behaviors have become a global imperative for entrepreneurs, as the consumer demand for products and services has become increasingly green. Hence, the purpose of this study is to identify the role of entrepreneurship education in environmental sustainability as measured by the launch of green ventures. This study also aims at extending the literature of resource-based view and flow theory by highlighting their application into the green venturing context. Data were collected from 420 Pakistani students having studied an entrepreneurship course in their university life by using the convenience sampling technique. The covariance based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM) was used to test the hypothesized relationships, and it was identified that entrepreneurship education evokes commitment to the environment, subsequently leading towards university green entrepreneurial support, environmental motivation, and green entrepreneurial behavior. University green entrepreneurial support also significantly influences green venturing; however, environmental motivation does not affect green entrepreneurial behavior. The findings of this study can be useful for policymakers in higher educational institutions, regulatory bodies, and diverse-government agencies dealing with UN sustainable development goals.

Abstract:
Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to set the papers included in the special issue into their unique contextual stage of entrepreneurial eco-systems in Nordic and Baltic countries. Design/methodology/approach – The editorial first presents the current status of entrepreneurship in the Nordic and Baltic regions. It then provides an overview of the papers included in this special issue, while highlighting their contributions. Finally, it concludes with suggestions for further research, while pointing out promising areas for future investigations. Findings – The papers included in this special issue help advance the understanding of important aspects of entrepreneurship in general, and within the context of Nordic and Baltic countries in particular. The first two papers focus on antecedents of entrepreneurial behaviour, namely – education and passion, while the last two papers address entrepreneurial behaviour and its outcome in terms of both growth aspiration and actual growth. Finally, the editorial identifies three important themes for future research, namely – the roles of Web 2.0 and online communities, crowdfunding and alternative finance, as well as current immigration trends on entrepreneurship development and dynamics in Nordic and Baltic Europe. Originality/value – This editorial and special issue are in tune with current calls for better understanding of entrepreneurship-related phenomena within their social context, and some of the linkages between social settings and manifestations of entrepreneurship. And while most papers concentrate on themes that may be associated with mainstream entrepreneurship research, each introduces new angles and/or conceptual combinations surrounding such themes and variables, which are unique and inspirational.

Abstract:
The article has been devoted to solving the problems of sustainable development of the city in the socio-ecological and economic aspect considering the influence of the factor of industrial symbiosis. The characteristics of industrial symbiosis have been generalized and its role in solving the problems of industrial recycling, industrial ecology and sustainable development of the territory has been determined. The European experience of using the advantages of industrial symbiosis in the creation and development of eco-industrial parks has been analyzed. The institutional-legal and organizational-technological approaches to the use of the European experience of creating eco-industrial parks in Ukraine have been considered. The institutional and legal approach presupposes the legislative consolidation of the ecological component in the formation of industrial parks in Ukraine. The organizational and technological approach allows organizing an industrial symbiosis for the city's enterprises that produce, process and use industrial waste, like an eco-industrial park. As a result, local resources are saved, new jobs are created, and the environmental situation is improved. It is especially true for cities in which there is a critical situation with the processing of industrial waste and a high level of technogenic load is observed. Proposals have been developed for organizing industrial symbiosis between the city's enterprises as an eco-industrial park for the management of metallurgical waste - blast furnace slags. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure cooperation between producers (metallurgical enterprises), processors (enterprises of building materials) and consumers (enterprises of road facilities and urban construction enterprises), stimulation of entrepreneurship in the field of industrial waste processing, and the use of public-private partnership mechanisms. Cooperation depends on the consistency of production planning between metallurgical enterprises and related waste processing enterprises. Therefore, it is advisable to form a coordination center and use computer information resource management systems. Stimulating entrepreneurship in the field of services for the processing of industrial waste involves the establishment of benefits and preferences by local governments within the framework of their powers. When using the mechanisms of public-private partnership of enterprises within the framework of industrial symbiosis, it is necessary to ensure the optimal distribution of risks between the public and private partners, which should be the subject of further research.

Abstract:
As the primary industry, agriculture is a prerequisite for human survival and a basic industry of the national economy. As a result, the growth of agriculture is vital for the nation’s socioeconomic development. The construction of ecological civilization and the reform and innovation of farmers’ digital entrepreneurial behavior in the region are intimately correlated with the agricultural eco-environmental quality. Therefore, it is crucial for us to improve control and maintenance of the agricultural eco-environment. A requirement for directing the sustainable growth of the agricultural economy is evaluating and identifying the quality of the regional eco-environment and the issues it faces. In view of this, the study employs Jiangsu Province as a research example, builds a comprehensive index evaluation system, and uses the modified BP neural network to evaluate the agricultural eco-environmental quality in the target area between 2010 and 2020. First, the evaluation system is constructed from four dimensions: ecological resource status, environmental pollution degree, eco-environmental protection efforts, and agricultural development level, and 14 influencing factors are then screened out as specific secondary evaluation indicators. Second, a GA-BP model will be applied to comprehensively assess the quality of the agricultural eco-environment in the province over the past 10 years. The comprehensive score of the province’s agricultural eco-environmental quality was calculated, and the quality level was classified by this. Meanwhile, the indicators’ scores were paired with an analysis of each contributing factor’s degree of change. The findings indicate that from 2010 to 2020, Jiangsu Province’s agricultural eco-environment demonstrated a favorable trend, a reasonably high-quality level, and a tendency of continuous improvement from bad to good. The results of each indicator measuring the quality of the agricultural environment fluctuated, but overall they showed an upward trend. Finally, in order to offer a reference for agricultural eco-environment control and protection and a good ecological environment for farmers’ digital entrepreneurship in the near future, countermeasures and suggestions are proposed for the restoration of the agricultural eco-environment in Jiangsu Province referring to the results of the research and the problems already present in the area.

Technological entrepreneurship is a locomotive for the development of the economy of any government and the world economy as a whole, which has survived the turmoil from the eco-nomic crises and latest events concerning coronavirus. Despite the importance of this type of en-trepreneurship, a single approach towards understanding its content has not yet been developed. In this connection, the research aimed at systematizing the existing knowledge and its develop-ment through the formation of certain interpretations has become relevant. And this has become the goal of this work. The content analysis and systematization of the existing definitions of the technological entrepreneurship category has been conducted. As a result, it has been found that understanding of the essence of this economic phenomenon today is extremely multifaceted: from the trans-formation of fundamental knowledge to the investment into innovation and science. At the same time, all definitions are based, as a rule, on 5 key approaches: process, financial, macroe-conomic, competence and functional approaches. The limitations of the existing definitions have also been highlighted, and an original interpretation, aimed at eliminating those, has been proposed. Another result of the work has become the set of basic necessary competencies of a technology entrepreneur, defined by the authors, among which the key skills are the skills of a manager, lawyer, financier, merchant, patent attorney, and technology transfer specialist. At the end of the study, the factors leading to the opening of technology startups and the classification features of technology entrepreneurship have been identified. The research results are both of theoretical (associated with the growth of knowledge in this area) and practical (allowing entre-preneurs to better understand the process of managing this type of innovation) importance.

Abstract:
Given the current trend toward a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly economy, the overlap between entrepreneurship and sustainability has become a key research area. Part of this trend is the emergence of ecopreneurial businesses. These businesses are pioneers in using innovation to achieve sustainable growth by exploiting market opportunities. This article presents an overview of the concepts of ecopreneurship, eco-innovation, and the ecological sector. A rigorous review of the literature in this area is presented. The results of this review show the key values and principles that are central to this new stream of research and shed light on opportunities for further research. The primary conclusion is that there is a need for collective collaboration between ecopreneurs, consumers, and producers to achieve long-term sustainability.

Abstract:
In the study; the eco-entrepreneurship and environmental sensitivity of companies operating in Azerbaijan were examined within the scope of environmental practices. For this purpose, companies operating in the country were invited to participate in a survey, and their sensitivity to the environment was examined from four main dimensions—consumption, production, financial, and technology. The mentioned dimensions were analyzed according to four aspects; namely, business field of activity, business size, operating year, and the level of implementation of environmentally friendly policies. According to the results of a one-way analysis of variance, carried out by field of activity, operating year, and the level of implementation of eco-friendly policy; it was found that there was no group that significantly differed from the overall group mean. A difference was found only in terms of the size of the enterprise. The study found that large businesses were more aware of environmental sensitivity than small- and medium-sized businesses.

Abstract:
Today, the degree of agricultural development, and, in the future, the level of national food security, the public health and the quality of life, are largely ensured by innovative developments in the field of alternative agriculture, the preservation of natural resources and, above all, the main production facility – land. At the same time, the unfilled market capacity of organic products and the significant land potential for the development of organic farming create all the necessary prerequisites for enhancing the competitiveness of Russian rural producers. The development of agricultural entrepreneurship towards the greening of land use, organic production and development of the domestic market for organic (ecological) products in the format of zonal agro-eco clusters is one of the strategic directions for implementing reforms in the agricultural sector. The paper presents the directions of the formation and development of zonal agro-eco clusters for the production, processing and sale of organic products in the agricultural regions of Russia.
