Abstract:

Objectives: Current research is aimed to investigate the natural antimicrobial potential of Durio zibethinus murr. ethanol leaves extract (DZL).Methods: DZL was subjected to the preliminary phytochemical screening along with quantitative analysis of phenols and flavonoids. Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC) were recorded. The agar well diffusion method was used to measure the antibacterial activity against gram positive and gram negative bacteria. The microorganisms used for the study were the ATCC strains of Bacillus subtilis, Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli.Results: DZL exhibited the highest MIC of 0.1mg/mL and MBC of 0.25 mg/mL against gram negative bacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli. At MIC of 0.1mg/mL, DZL displayed significant zone of inhibition against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli compared to gentamycin.Conclusion: This research has shown that DZL has natural antibacterial properties against gram negative human pathogens.

At the self-developed DZL-001 computer control of frozen soil frozen-heave test machine, use artificial freezing method carry out vertical and lateral freezing two modes frost heave test of remoulded clay, each mode test includes under no replenishment and replenishment conditions. Monitor the temperature, moisture and frost heave of frozen soil at different location. Compare the similarities and differences of frost heave characteristics of two modes, master the frost heave characteristics of artificial frozen soil. The results provide a certain guidance and reference meaning to layer sidewall structural design.

Abstract:

Background: Iron overload can cause DNA oxidation which increase TGF β1, type 1 fibrilarprotein and myocardium fibrosis. Myocardium fibrosis is the main cause of death on the state of iron overload. The iron influx towards the cell during iron overload is still unknown, some research suggested LTCC acts as iron influx. This research aims to investigate the role of azelnidipine as type L calcium channel blocker, lowering TGF β1, collagen and myocardium fibrosis. Method: The research subjects consisted of 25 male Balb-C mice(8 weeks, 30-40mg) divided into 5 groups. Group 1 (NaCl+S) 0,3 cc Na Cl 0,9% (I.P) and drug solvent (Aquabidest, CMC and Nipagin) orally. Group 2Fe+S) 0.3 cc 1,5 mg Fe+sucrose (Venofer®) (I.P) and drug solvent (Aquabidest, CMC and Nipagin) orally. Group 3 (Fe+Dfx) 1,5 mg Fe+sucrose (Venofer®) (I.P) and deferasirox 20 mg/kg body weight/day orally, group 4 (Fe+Azl) 1,5 mg Fe+sucrose (Venofer®) (I.P) and azelnidipine 14 mg/day orally and group 5 (Fe+Dfx-Azl) 1,5 mg Fe+sucrose (Venofer®) (I.P) and mixture of deferasirox 20 mg/kg body weight/day and azelnidipine 14 mg/day orally. Fe-sucorse was diluted with NaCl 0.9 %. Intraperitoneal injection were administered intermittently for 60 days of treatment. Result: The highest Expression of TGF β, collagen I and fibrosis area fractions are in group Fe+S. The result of Post Hoc test between 2 treatment groups indicated that there were no difference in TGF β expression between groups NaCl+S with Fe+Dfx (P>0.05) , Fe+Dzl (P>0.05). There are no significant in collagen expression between groups NaCl+S with Fe+Dfx (P > 0.05) ,Fe+Dzl (P>0.05). Conclusion: Azelnidipine, LTCC have roles on the influx of iron into the myocardium, lowering TGF β, collagen Iexpressionsand myocardium fibrosis. Abstract:

Abstract Background The symptoms of asthma arise on the basis of a chronic inflammation of the airways. The NLRP3 inflammasome plays a central role in regulating inflammation e.g. by activating interleukin (IL) 1 cytokines, which in turn promote allergic inflammation. This study aims to evaluate the therapeutic potential of the specific NLRP3 inhibitor OLT1177® on experimental allergic asthma (EAA) in mice. Methods The impact of OLT1177® on NLRP3 expression, caspase-1 activation, and IL-1β release were assessed in vivo and in allergen-restimulated mononuclear cells (MNC) from ovalbumin (OVA)-sensitized mice. The effect of intra-peritoneal OLT1177®-treatment on OVA- and house dust mite (HDM) EAA and on poly(I:C)-triggered exacerbation of EAA were assessed. Furthermore, the effect of oropharyngeal aspiration of OLT1177® and oral OLT1177® via an enriched diet were also evaluated in mice with OVA-induced EAA. Results OLT1177® reduced NLRP3 expression, caspase-1 activation, and levels of activated IL-1β in vitro and in mice with OVA-induced EAA. Intra-peritoneal treatment with OLT1177® significantly diminished allergic airway inflammation, mucus hyperproduction, and airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR) in mice with OVA- and HDM-induced EAA as well as in mice with poly(I:C)-triggered exacerbation of EAA. While oropharyngeal aspiration of OLT1177® had no effect on EAA, oral OLT1177® via feeding an enriched diet markedly reduced all pathophysiologic hallmarks of EAA in mice. Conclusion Intra-peritoneal and oral delivery of OLT1177® is effective to inhibit the NLRP3 inflammasome in vivo and to treat EAA in mice. This study was mainly supported by the German Center for Lung Research (DZL). The study was also supported by Olatec Therapeutics LLC and the Interleukin Foundation.

Merupakan perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar dan sahamnya masih aktif diperdagangkan di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Perusahaan tersebut menerbitkan Laporan keuangan bulanan secara lengkap dari 2011 sampai 2016 yang dapat di akses melalui Website Bursa Efek Indonesia dan Website perusahaan yang terkaitTemuan – Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan metode deret waktu yaitu dari tahun 2011-2016. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 21, baik pengujian secara individu DOL dengan profitabilitas dan DFL dengan profitabilitas maupun pengujian bersama DOL dan DFL terhadap profitabilitas didapatkan bahwa DOL dan DCL memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap perubahan Profitabilitas perusahaan (ROE, ROA, dan EPS), sementara untuk DFL didapatkan hasil DFL tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap perubahan profitabilitas perusahaan.Keterbatasan Penelitian – Penelitian ini focus pada objek perbankan yang terdaftar di BEI, perbedaan karakteristik antar perbankan dapat ditindaklanjuti dengan membandingkannya dengan perbankan daerah atau yang belum go-publik.Originality/Value: Penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi perbankan di Indonesia untuk menganalisa, perencaan dan melakukan pengendalian keuangan di perusahaan terhadap kinerja perusahaan.

<p>This study aims to analyze and determined the relationship of leverage on corporate profitability.The study wanted to analyze the relationship between financial leverage, operating leverage, combined leverage, and debt equity ratio of earning per share. The aim is to explain how the earning capacity gain is influenced by the performance management fixed operating costs and fixed financial costs. In addition this study also explains the relationship between Debt Equity Ratio and Earning Per Share.<br />In this study, selected on food and beverage manufacturing subindustry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during a periode of 11 years from 1999 — 2009. Using Kruskal Wallis testing, spearman correlation analysis and the classical assumption of normality. The result showed that the data DFL, DOL, and DCL didn't differ significantly in manufacturing subindustry. fry the DER and EPS data show that differ significantly in manufacturing subindustry of food and beverages. Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to explain the influence of the Degree of Operating Leverage (DOL) and Degree of Financial Leverage (DFL) on company profitability. The population in this study was consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2018, with 33 sample companies selected using purposive sampling. Method research was causality research and the data used is quantitative data. The company published a complete financial report from 2017 to 2018 which could be accessed through the Indonesian Stock Exchange Website and related company websites. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 21 application. The result shows that individual testing of DOL with profitability and DFL with profitability and joint testing of DOL and DFL with profitability found that DOL and DCL did not have a significant effect on the changes in company profitability (ROE and ROA) .

Abstract:

Este ensayo se propone mostrar la oposición existente entre el paradigma de la tradición cultural humanista y las principales tesis y postulados que actualmente defiende el posthumanismo. Para ello, se analizan las respectivas respuestas que el humanismo y el posthumanismo ofrecen a las tres grandes preguntas que han compendiado, a lo largo de su historia, el significado de la filosofía: ¿Cómo se conoce la realidad? ¿Qué son y cómo se explican el mundo y la vida? ¿Cuál es la mejor forma de vivir? A esas preguntas han respondido respectivamente, la gnoseología o teoría del conocimiento, la ontología y la deontología o la ética. Se estudian, asimismo, determinados motivos de la ambigüedad del proyecto de deshumanización posthumanista. El trabajo concluye con la exposición de los argumentos que avalan la persistencia de los valores, principios y derechos del humanismo, actualizados en función de las exigencias de nuestro tiempo.

Toda amnistía genera un conflicto de valores de difícil solución. ¿Cuál es el “bien” a priorizar en las circunstancias que facilitan la propuesta de amnistías? ¿Castigar penalmente los ilícitos más graves u ofrecer puentes de plata que faciliten la paz a costa de la obligación de castigo? En el pensamiento occidental hubo un momento crítico en la racionalización de la ‘validez’ filosófico-jurídica de esta figura. Las Casas formuló la primera teorización sobre la validez limitada de las amnistías a partir de su teoría del ‘pacto social’. Un siglo después Grocio respondió con la teoría del ‘dominio eminente’ del soberano que propugnaba la validez de cualquier amnistía fijada en tratados por razón de su utilidad pública. La postura grociana se impuso hasta finales del s. XX.

Este ensayo realizará un análisis de las características estructurales que definen la sociedad de la Modernidad tardía, para entender como estos cambios en la configuración social determinan la manera de entender la política criminal y el Derecho penal frente a los procesos de exclusión. Analizaremos cómo en un contexto de profunda exclusión para determinadas personas y colectivos se desquebraja el necesario vínculo que tiene que darse entre Estado de Derecho y ciudadanía con derechos, fractura, que en la medida que es coadyuvada por el Estado en la producción de las condiciones materiales de exclusión, pondrían poner en tela de juicio la legitimidad de un Estado para castigar al excluido. Para entender todo ello, daremos medida de cuáles podrían ser las condiciones para la configuración de un Estado decente que no humille a sus ciudadanos.

Abstract:

El presente artículo persigue poner de manifiesto, desde la perspectiva cívica y moral, una parte del discurso educacional de José Luis López-Aranguren. En particular, presento su visión de futuro sobre la universidad española del último tercio del siglo XX y su relación con las demandas que la juventud de su tiempo estaba planteando. Abstract:

Estudiamos la responsabilidad que surge de la comisión de delitos contra la libertad sexual, en especial de menores, por miembros de Confesiones religiosas, tanto en el ordenamiento del Estado como en el ordenamiento confesional –centrándonos en el canónico–, que es el que tiene un marco jurídico completamente definido, poniendo de manifiesto los límites a la autonomía de las confesiones religiosas a la hora de poder llegar a depurar las responsabilidades, tanto canónicas, como seculares, por los actos ilícitos cometidos por los clérigos o similares, de modo que se impida que esa autonomía de las confesiones religiosas se pervierta y se constituya en un obstáculo al castigo de los culpables. Para ello es necesario profundizar en la colaboración entre los ordenamientos seculares y los confesionales.

Abstract:

Dentro de los trabajos del enfoque basado en derechos humanos sobre la corrupción, la posición más adelantada ha propuesto la existencia de un derecho humano a una sociedad libre de corrupción. La cuestión sobre este nuevo derecho continúa abierta; su existencia no se ha rebatido con solidez, ni se ha fundamentado de manera satisfactoria. El artículo se dirige a esta cuestión. Tras revisar el estado de la discusión sobre los vínculos entre derechos humanos y corrupción, se aportan razones en favor del reconocimiento de este derecho. Asimismo, se comenta la contribución del constitucionalismo latinoamericano reciente al tema, que ya ha consagrado en algún caso a la libertad frente a la corrupción como derecho fundamental.

Abstract:

En este trabajo se ofrecen algunos criterios o reglas interpretativas simples para contribuir a la identificación de los derechos fundamentales en la Constitución española, cuestión que sigue siendo polémica en la doctrina constitucional. De acuerdo con esas reglas interpretativas, hallamos derechos fundamentales no sólo en el capítulo II del Título I de la Constitución española, sino también en el Capítulo III, en el Capítulo I, e incluso fuera del Título I de la Constitución. A todos los derechos identificados hay que aplicarles las consecuencias lógicas del carácter de norma fundamental de la Constitución. En consecuencia, vinculan a todos los poderes públicos, incluidos el poder legislativo y el poder judicial.

Abstract:

Symptoms putative to phytoplasmas and virus as yellowing, mosaic, proliferation and deformation of fruits and thickening of the cladodes of prickly pear have been observed in Nopaltepec, Estado de México. The objective of this investigation was to detect the presence of virus in samples of prickly pear showing thickening syndrome of the cladodes. The analysis of double-stranded RNA in prickly pear tissue whit the symptoms mentioned above revealed the presence of viral RNA. In symptomatic tissue, flexible rods of 950-1700 nm in length were observed with the aid of transmission electron microscopy. The virus was transmitted mechanically to Nicotiana tabacum var. Xanthi, N. glutinosa, N. occidentalis, N. benthamiana, Chenopodium quinoa, C. amaranticolor and Datura stramonium. Results from RT-PCR indicate that the particle does not correspond to TMV, neither to member of the Potyviridae family or species of the genus Potexvirus.
