Abstract:
ResumoEste artigo apresenta os resultados de uma investigação voltada para o papel da congruência semântica na elaboração de problemas aditivos por alunos, à luz das ideias de Raymond Duval, relacionadas ao desenvolvimento do pensamento algébrico. A pesquisa foi realizada a partir da aplicação de um instrumento de coleta de dados a noventa e quatro alunos do sétimo, oitavo e nono anos de escolas públicas, com o objetivo de analisar a manifestação do fenômeno da congruência semântica na atividade de elaboração de problemas. Neste artigo, apresentamos uma análise das respostas dos alunos para uma questão que solicita a elaboração de problemas. Os problemas elaborados pelos alunos apresentam a estrutura do campo conceitual de problemas aditivos de Gérard Vergnaud. Os resultados encontrados evidenciaram que a essa proposta, além de apresentar contribuições para o desenvolvimento do pensamento algébrico, enfrenta o fenômeno da congruência semântica, que não pode ser ignorado. Para elaborar problemas, conforme a proposta de Duval, é preciso levar em consideração o fenômeno da congruência semântica, que se reflete diretamente na designação das relações algébricas oriundas dos encaminhamentos das soluções dos problemas.Palavras-chave: Pensamento algébrico, Álgebra, Ideias de Duval.AbstractThis article presents the results of an investigation focused on the role of semantic congruence in students' elaboration of addictive problems, in the light of Raymond Duval’s ideas, related to the development of algebraic thinking. The research was carried out from the application of a data collection instrument to ninety-four students from the seventh, eighth, and ninth grades of public schools, aiming to analyze the manifestation of the phenomenon of semantic congruence in the activity of elaboration problems. In this article, we present an analysis of the students' answers to a question that requests the elaboration of problems. The problems that the students elaborate present the structure of Gérard Vergnaud’s conceptual field of additive problems. The results showed that this proposal, besides contributing to the development of algebraic thinking, faces the phenomenon of semantic congruence, which cannot be ignored. To elaborate problems, according to Duval’s proposal, it is necessary to consider the phenomenon of semantic congruence, which is directly reflected in the designation of algebraic relations arising from the forwarding of solutions to problems.Keywords: Algebraic thinking; Algebra, Duval’s ideas.ResumenEste artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación centrada en el papel de la congruencia semántica en la elaboración de problemas adictivos por parte de los estudiantes, a la luz de las ideas de Raymond Duval, relacionadas con el desarrollo del pensamiento algebraico. La investigación se llevó a cabo a partir de la aplicación de un instrumento de recolección de datos a noventa y cuatro estudiantes de los grados séptimo, octavo y noveno de escuelas públicas, con el objetivo de analizar la manifestación del fenómeno de la congruencia semántica en la actividad de elaborar problemas. En este artículo presentamos un análisis de las respuestas de los estudiantes a una pregunta que solicita dicha elaboración. Los problemas que los alumnos engendran presentan la estructura del campo conceptual de problemas aditivos de Gérard Vergnaud. Los resultados mostraron que esta propuesta, además de contribuir al desarrollo del pensamiento algebraico, enfrenta el fenómeno de la congruencia semántica, que no puede ser ignorado. Para elaborar problemas, de acuerdo con la propuesta de Duval, es necesario considerar el fenómeno de la congruencia semántica, que se refleja directamente en la designación de relaciones algebraicas que surgen del avance de soluciones a problemas.Palabras clave: Pensamiento algebraico, Álgebra, Ideas de Duval.

A morphologically distinguished and isolated cavernicolous trechine beetle belonging to the isotopic Duvalius lineage was discovered in Dinarids, Western Bosnia, in hypogean environment, in the cave Mračna Pećina. Duvalius (Neoduvalius) lohaji n. sp., is described, illustrated and compared with the other Duvalius species of the Dinaric range, especially with Neoduvalius taxa. In addition, taxonomical considerations about Duvalius-related genera that exhibit aphaenopsian morphology are given.

Auf basenreichen Sanden des nördlichen Oberrhein-, mittleren Main- und böhmischen Elbetales wachsende, blaugrün bereifte tetraploide Schwingel, die bisher meist als Festuca duvalii angesprochen wurden, werden als F. tomanii neu beschrieben. von F. duvalii unterscheidet sich F. tomanii durch (1) pergamentartige Scheiden der Grundblätter, von denen die Spreiten frühzeitig abfallen (F. duvalii: Scheiden der Grundblätter nicht pergamentartig, Spreiten lange erhalten bleibend), (2) dickere Blätter (0,8–1,1 mm vs. 0,6–0,9 mm) mit mehr Leitbündeln (9–11 vs. 7) sowie (3) durch einen ± geschlossenen Sklerenchymring (F. duvalii: Sklerenchym überwiegend in drei Bündeln). Die Bestände von F. tomanii sind stark rückläufig; die meisten Populationen finden sich an Reliktstandorten. F. tomanii ist ein typischer Bestandteil des Jurineo cyanoidis-Koelerietum glaucae (Koelerion glaucae).

OBJETIVO: La investigación consiste en determinar la intervención preventivo promocional de enfermería relacionado con las crisis normativas de la familia en las etapas del ciclo vital de Duvall C.S. San Francisco 2015. MATERIAL Y MÉTODOS: es un tipo de investigación cuantitativa, descriptiva, retrospectiva y prospectiva. Se trabaja con una muestra de 99 familias del PROFAM del C.S. San Francisco entre los meses de septiembre a diciembre, utilizando un muestreo probabilístico por conveniencia la técnica es la encuesta y el método la entrevista. RESULTADOS: familia nuclear con un 53,5%, con alto riesgo con un 39,4%, con función moderada con un 69,7%, atendido por personal de enfermería con un 62,6%, en la etapa del ciclo Duval de formación de pareja no contesta si decide acerca de la cercanía física en ellos. Por ejemplo, a las relaciones sexuales prematrimoniales con un 91,9%, que si presentan crisis normativas en la familia en las etapas del ciclo vital de la familia: en una crianza inicial de los hijos y si hubo intervención preventivo promocional en un 52,7%, Como plataforma de lanzamiento 44,4%. En la etapa del ciclo vital de duvall: etapa post parental no contesta con un 97% frente al enfrentamiento a las múltiples perdidas: juventud, salud, vitalidad, trabajo, etc. Enfrentamiento de la soledad y muerte de la pareja, así como la consejería. Conclusión: La intervención preventiva promocional de enfermería se relaciona con las crisis normativas de la familia en las etapas del ciclo vital de Duvall.

Abstract:
The morphological and ultrastructural descriptions of the larvae of two cave species of Trechini—Duvalius (Hungarotrechus) subterraneus (L. Miller, 1868) and Duvalius (Biharotrechus) paroecus (J. Frivaldszkyi, 1865)—are presented in this paper. The interest in studying these larvae lays in their rarity and the limited distribution of the Duvalius species. The larvae were collected from caves in the Romanian Carpathians and were examined under a stereomicroscope and scanning electron microscopy. New important taxonomical and fine morphological characteristics are discussed together with conclusions on the larvae microhabitat as part of the measures to be taken by a proper management of caves.

Duvalius (Duvalius) lencinai Mateu & Ortuño, 2006 (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Trechini) a hypogean species from the south of the Iberian peninsula. Morphology, new taxonomic placement, systematics and biology Duvalius (Duvalius) lencinai Mateu & Ortuño, 2006 was discovered in two new localities in the municipal district of Siles (Jaen, Spain): Sima Curva del Espino and Sima de los 30 Años, approximately 10 and 17 km, respectively, away from the type locality. The study of several individuals through dissection and use of optic and electronic microscopic preparations has increased the knowledge of the anatomy of this species. Evagination of the internal sac allowed further study of the sclerotized structures and led to the proposal of a new placement for this species within the genus Trechus Clairville 1806: Trechus (Trechus) lencinai (Mateu & Ortuño, 2006) n. comb. Although it comprises characters of the T. fulvus group and the T. pyrenaeus group, the endophallus is more similar to several species of the T. quadristriatus group and the T. tingitanus group. It could not therefore be placed in any of the species groups proposed by Jeannel. Some data about its biology (temporal and spatial distribution) and accompanying arthropod fauna are given.

Abstract:
Euphorbia duvalii Lecoq & Lamotte is an endemic species from the Catalan-Occitan territory -western Mediterranean area- and is usually found in the south of France. Euphorbia duvalii has been cited from some localities of the Iberian Peninsula, but in later reviews all of these citations were finally identified as other species of Euphorbia L. One of these citations, from the Alt Empordà -Girona, Spain-, was of specific interest because not all the sources agreed on what the species was. To clarify whether or not this species is really present in the Iberian Peninsula, we examined new material from this population in order to establish whether the species is in fact E. duvalii. Once the morphology of the specimens from the Serra de Bac Grillera population had been analysed, we were able to confirm that they were indeed E. duvalii. This means that this is the only area on the Iberian Peninsula where this endemic species has been identified. The population is located in a rocky meadow that contains some scrub and is surrounded by pinewoods. Because this is the one and only Iberian population, a management and conservation plan needs to be drawn up to ensure its preservation.

La présente étude se veut complémentaire aux précédentes publications dont Amaury-Duval a été l’objet : le catalogue des expositions de Montrouge et Brest (1974) et la réédition annotée et commentée par Daniel Ternois de son ouvrage L’Atelier d’Ingres (Arthéna 1993). De nouvelles informations proviennent de diverses sources d’archives privées ainsi que de l’important fonds conservé par la Société éduenne (Autun). Une première partie présente la biographie de l’artiste en s’attardant sur son entourage familial dont le talent, l’ouverture d’esprit et la curiosité orientèrent les choix de l’artiste et influencèrent sa vie entière. Un passage est consacré à l’atelier du peintre ainsi qu’à ses principaux élèves. Le catalogue de l’œuvre est organisé en deux parties, la première étant consacrée aux portraits dont Amaury-Duval s’était fait une spécialité comme son maître Ingres. Les autres sujets sont regroupés ensuite. La peinture religieuse y tient une bonne place. Les pièces annexes jointes à l’exposé sont un complément indispensable. Outre les textes habituels (chronologie, bibliographie, catalogues d’expositions…), elles comportent la copie de plusieurs manuscrits inédits importants
This study wants to complete the researches about Amaury-Duval : catalogues of the exhibitions held in Montrouge and Best (1974) and the new edition of l’Atelier d’Ingres by Daniel Ternois (Arthéna, 1993). The first part offers the artist biography with a short of his family whose memebers were interested in everything in art and culture. Many of them had a great influence over the artist for all his live. A short part is dedicated to his study and his pupils. The catalogue has two parts, the first one contains portraits. Amaury-Duval made many of them an dit is in this genre, he is the nearest of his teacher Ingres. Other subjects come after. About them the religious paintings are important. The Annexes are a main point. They contain the usual textes (chronology, bibliography, exhibitions catalogues…) and several unpublished manuscripts

Quand il arrive au pouvoir le 22 septembre 1957, François Duvalier, noiriste et nationaliste, découvre que les acteurs internationaux influencent considérablement la politique intérieure d' Haïti. Il décide alors de s'en servir à ses propres fins pendant ses quatorze années à la présidence. Cette thèse analyse la manière dont le président « à vie» de la République d'Haïti, internationalement connu sous le nom de Papa Doc, prenant en compte les forces profondes et le contexte de la guerre froide, met en application sa vision du monde et sa conception des relations internationales. Il parvient à obtenir du Vatican la nationalisation du c1ergé catholique, contrer les menaces et tentatives d'invasions venant de la République Dominicaine et de Cuba, faire jouer sa prétendue amitié avec Charles de Gaule, utiliser constamment la menace communiste pour obtenir l'aide des Etats-Unis dans l'unique objectif de se maintenir perpétuellement au pouvoir.

Cette étude porte sur les impacts géomorphologiques de la crue extrême de la rivière Duval, qui s’est produite en juin 2008, dans la communauté de Pangnirtung au Nunavut. L’action combinée de l’érosion mécanique et thermique (thermo-érosion) du puissant torrent a rapidement causé l’érosion de 90 000 m3 de pergélisol près de l’embouchure de la rivière, endommageant de façon permanente les deux ponts situés au centre de la communauté. Un événement d’une telle envergure a soulevé de nombreuses inquiétudes dans la communauté notamment en ce qui a trait à la pérennité des infrastructures routières et résidentielles, à la sécurité des habitants ainsi qu’au risque de récurrence d’une telle crue. Cette étude a pour objet de quantifier les facteurs qui contribuent au processus à savoir, la température de l’eau, le débit fluvial, la température du pergélisol et sa teneur en glace et d’intégrer leur impact combiné dans une analyse numérique afin de mieux cerner les conditions dans lesquelles l’événement catastrophique s’est produit, d’évaluer les risques de récurrence d’une telle crue et de déterminer le degré de susceptibilité du cône alluvial de Pangnirtung face au processus d'érosion fluviale et de la thermo-érosion.

Les biens ont toujours occupé une place importante dans la vie des sociétés. Leur distribution, leur usage, leur acquisition, leur transmission reflètent profondément la conception que s'en font une société. Ainsi, à travers ce travail nous avons constaté que l'avènement de la République d'Haïti en 1804 et jusqu'en 1986 au départ du président Jean-Claude DUVALIER, ce pays a été traversé par deux conceptions de la propriété foncière. La première que l'on peut qualifier de militaro-néopotique est hérité de Toussaint LOUVERTURE et s'étend de 1804 à 1843. La seconde qui est fondée sur le mythe de la propriété foncière pour tous va de 1843 à 1986. Cependant, il a été constaté que de 1804 à 1986 les petits cultivateurs se sont toujours battus pour avoir droit à une jouissance paisible du lopin de terre qu'ils exploitaient. Ce qui n'a pas toujours été facile puisque les proches des divers gouvernements ont eu une conception différente de la propriété foncière et de l'exploitation des biens fonciers. L'opposition de ces deux visions a souvent été la source des conflits et des soulèvements armés en Haïti. Bien plus, cette lutte entre les différents groupes sociaux a plongé le pays dans une instabilité chronique et y a engendré l'insécurité, le chômage et la pauvreté
Property has always occupied a place in the life of societies. Distribution (especially land, their use, acquisition) transmitted reflect deep design that makes it a society. Thus, through this work we found that the accession of the Republic of Haïti in 1804 and until 1986 (departure of president Jean-Claude DUVALIER), the country was crossed by two concepts of land ownership. The first one can be described as military crony is inherited from Toussaint LOUVERTURE, and extends from 1804 to 1843. The second can be described in the myth of the land all of 1843 to 1986. However, it was found that from 1804 to 1986 small farmes have always fougth for the right to peaceful enjoyment of the plot of land the farm. This was not always easy because the relatives of different gouvernments have had a vision different ownership and exploitation of land. The opposition of these two wiews has often been the source of conflict, and armed uprisings identificate this country. More, this struggle between different social groupes plunged the country into a chronic instabilité (sic) and insecurité (sic) is created, unemployment and poverty

This study presents an analysis of pedagogical, curricular and content knowledge that teachers of mathematics in basic education, in Ponta Grossa/PR have on Trigonometry. Empirical data was obtained with the use of a tool containing different kinds of errors made by students in Trigonometry exercises to be analyzed and point out possible intervention by the teachers as well as to present responses to Trigonometry concepts. This data was analyzed based on Shulman’s (1986,2001) theoretical contributions and on the functions and discursive operations according to the Register of Semiotic Representation theory by Raymond Duval (2004, 2009, 2011). The research question was: How is knowledge about Trigonometry characterized and what is the nature of the knowledge related to learning issues and Trigonometry teaching presented by mathematics teachers who work in basic education? And the objectives of the study were: to characterize the knowledge of Trigonometry of mathematics teachers working in basic education and; to reveal the nature of mathematics teachers’ knowledge in relation to Trigonometry learning and teaching issues.The research had a qualitative approach, with descriptive and elucidative characteristics, and the analysis methodological procedures were assisted by Bardin’s (2009) content analysis. The organization of data was carried out with the aid of the software Atlas.ti, through which the subject content knowledge, the pedagogical knowledge of content, and the curricular knowledge were gathered within the discourse expansion function proposed by Duval (2004) for later analysis. The results of this study indicate that teachers’ knowledge that was more evident was the knowledge of the subject content. These results point to the need for teachers to be more attentive to other aspects of knowledge also necessary to their education practice and which seem to have been disregarded.
Este trabalho apresenta uma análise dos conhecimentos pedagógicos, curricular e de conteúdo de professores de matemática da Educação Básica, do município de Ponta Grossa/PR, sobre Trigonometria. Os dados empíricos foram obtidos por meio da aplicação de um instrumento contendo diferentes tipos de erros cometidos pelos alunos em atividades de Trigonometria, para a análise e apontamento de possíveis intervenções pedagógicas pelos professores e também respostas a conceitos de Trigonometria. Esses dados foram analisados tendo por subsídios teóricos as contribuições de Shulman (1986, 2001) e as funções e operações discursivas apresentadas na teoria dos Registros de Representação Semiótica segundo Raymond Duval (2004, 2009, 2011). O problema de pesquisa que se buscou responder foi: Como se caracterizam os conhecimentos sobre Trigonometria e qual a natureza dos conhecimentos relativos a questões sobre a aprendizagem e o ensino de Trigonometria apresentados por professores de matemática que atuam na Educação Básica? A partir disso os objetivos da pesquisa foram: caracterizar os conhecimentos sobre Trigonometria apresentados por professores de matemática que atuam na Educação Básica e; desvelar a natureza desses conhecimentos dos professores de matemática em relação a questões sobre o ensino e a aprendizagem da Trigonometria. Para a realização da pesquisa foi adotada a abordagem qualitativa, de cunho descritivo e explicativo, com os procedimentos metodológicos de análise sustentados pela análise de conteúdo de Bardin (2009). A organização dos dados contou com o auxílio do software Atlas.ti por meio do qual foram elencados o conhecimento de conteúdo da matéria, o conhecimento pedagógico de conteúdo e o conhecimento curricular e as funções de expansão dos discursos propostas por Duval (2004), para posterior análise. Os resultados dessa pesquisa indicam que os conhecimentos docentes que se sobressaíram foram os conhecimentos de conteúdo da matéria a ser ensinada. Esses resultados apontam para a necessidade de um olhar mais atento pelos professores sobre os demais saberes necessários à prática educativa e que parecem não estarem sendo postos em prática.

The dissertation presents an analysis of teacher s textbooks, adopted in public schools in a city in Minas Gerais, focusing on the elaboration of the concept of multiplication from the 1st to 5th year of elementary school. The qualitative analysis about 16 multiplication activities, the most part divided in about four tasks, was developed by the match between the National Curriculum Parameters - PCNs, adopted as guidelines by the investigated textbooks and the Theory of Raymond Duval. As a result, we obtained that most of the initial activities involves conversion. Among the other tasks of the activity involves at least one treatment. We also found an activity involving only treatment, and only three activities without tasks involving treatment. Still, we had a proposal in the guidelines to the teacher, promoting conversion in both directions for proper coordination of semiotic representation registers. A dissertação apresenta uma análise dos Livros da Coleção do Professor, adotados na rede municipal de uma cidade de Minas Gerais, focalizando o processo de elaboração do conceito de multiplicação do 1° ao 5° ano do Ensino Fundamental. A análise, de caráter qualitativo, sobre 16 atividades de multiplicação, subdivididas em cerca de quatro tarefas, em sua maior parte, desenvolveu-se mediante o pareamento entre os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais PCNs, adotados como diretrizes no município e a Teoria de Raymond Duval. Como resultados, obtivemos que maior parte das atividades iniciais envolve conversão. Dentre as demais tarefas da atividade ao menos uma envolve tratamento. Encontramos também uma atividade envolvendo apenas tratamento, e apenas três atividades sem tarefas envolvendo tratamento. Ainda, obtivemos uma proposta nas orientações ao professor, promovendo conversão em dois sentidos, para a devida coordenação de registros de representação semiótica. Abstract:
The hypothesis that there is no significant difference between the mean SAT Total Reading Battery percentile scores of LEP students who are mainstreamed and those who are self-contained, was studied. Sixty-eight fourth, fifth, and sixth-grade LEP students were administered the SAT. They were divided into two groups. The self-contained group consisted of 35 students; the mainstreamed group consisted of 33 students. The mean percentile score for the mainstreamed group was 39.57 with a standard deviation of 21.02. For the self-contained group, the mean was 26.0 and the standard deviation was 18.53. The computed t = 2.67, P < .05. The null hypothesis was rejected.

Introdução: O tumor do seio endodérmico é a segunda neoplasia maligna de células germinativas mais frequente em crianças e mulheres jovens, seguindo-se ao disgerminoma. A idade média é de 19 anos. Os sintomas de apresentação são geralmente aumento do volume abdominal e dor de curta duração. São tumores unilaterais e grandes (média de 15 cm), com uma superfície externa lisa. São sólidos ao corte, carnudos acinzentados ou acastanhados e com extensas áreas hemorrágicas e císticas. Em caso de calcificações associadas, é preciso suspeitar de outro componente de tumor germinativo, tipicamente um teratoma cístico maduro, que está presente em 15% dos casos. Do ponto de vista microscópico, os padrões mais frequentes são o reticular, o pseudopapilar e o festonado (com os característicos corpos de Schiller-Duval). Os corpos de Schiller-Duval são patognomônicos, porém estão presentes apenas em 13 a 20% dos casos. Sob a ótica imuno-histoquímica, esses tumores são tipicamente imunorreativos para alfafetoproteína, alfa-1 antitripsina, citoqueratinas e CD34. Relato de caso: Paciente A.L.M.P.H., seis anos, sexo feminino, apresentou massa tumoral em ovariana palpável de crescimento rápido, com aspecto sólido-cístico. Foi submetida a ooforectomia à direita. Realizaram-se estudos anatomopatológico e imuno-histoquímico, os quais evidenciaram um tumor de células germinativas do tipo tumor do seio endodérmico. Conclusão: Os tumores de seio endodérmico ovariano correspondem a 20% das neoplasias malignas das células germinativas e afetam predominantemente as mulheres de baixa idade. O tratamento cirúrgico com quimioterapia adjuvante é a conduta padrão. A alfafetoproteína sérica é um marcador bastante útil no diagnóstico e no manejo. Entretanto, mais estudos sobre a temática são necessários para um aperfeiçoamento do tratamento.

Medical compression garments are used to treat lymphatic disorders or conditions of poor venous return (e.g. orthostatic intolerance). Conventional compression garments, namely elastic compression sleeves and inflatable compression systems, may aid in relief of these conditions but are also limited in usability. Fixed levels of compression in elastic materials may induce challenges in donning/doffing, complicating patient compliance [1]. Compression levels in inflatable systems are customizable, but these garments are also bulky and require a tethered inflation source [2]. We are interested in developing easy-to-don/-doff compression garments using shape memory alloy (SMA) coil actuators that contract with heat from an applied current which can be wrapped around the body to apply compressive forces. More specifically, we use a spring coil formation as described by Holschuh et al. [3]. Further developed in the Wearable Technology Lab at the University of Minnesota, our current SMA compression garment (SMA-CG) design improves upon the work of Duvall et al. [4] presented in previous year’s (2017) Design of Medical Devices Conference, representing a year’s evolution in active compression garment design that integrate actuators made with SMA.
