Full textPaul Durcan is a contemporary poet, a Dubliner who seeks transcendence through art, religion and love. He is paradoxically both blasphemous and religious. He expresses his faith through an art which he refuses to divide into different forms. His work subscribes to a continually renewed dialogue, both with the Old Masters and with contemporary artists. The pictorial in its different degrees of saturation does not merely run through his work; the particular nature of Paul Durcan’s poetry lies specifically in its visual dimension. The poet has a very personal conception of ekphrasis. He expresses the tensions present within this genre: the dynamic between stillness and movement. His relationship with the works of art is within the context of a love story, of a real exchange between painting and words. The poet has an intimate and sensual relationship with art. This is transcribed by his savouring of details which he eroticizes, enjoying them again through words. Exploring the limits of art he draws anthropomorphic maps, through which he also seeks to draw the outlines of his own face. His aesthetic is one of transformation. He creates Arcimboldo-like composite portraits. When these shift, the poet seems then to merge an Arcimboldo-like mobility with a Bacon-like metamorphosis, through words. Thus, Paul Durcan’s poetic is a pictorial writing of metamorphic movements, mobility, and superimpositions which can become anamorphic. It is part of a lively relation to art which is also conveyed by his anthropomorphic writing of the world and of creation. Like Bacon he seeks to capture the human trace. What he seeks to evoke is a lively enchantment and not a death-like fixedness

Fokus ligger på kompakt leveldesign, och har definierats som att innehålla följande tre element: Hög rumslig desnitet, lager, och backtracking. Planerad sequence breaking definieras som en mer subtil variant av alternativa rutter. Begreppen står som dels underlag för fortsatt diskussion om ämnet, då de inte förekommer i tidigare litteratur, och dels som ett sätt att förhålla sig till leveldesign som designer.
Vidare beskrivs spelet Ittle Dew, vilket har skapats tillsammans med Daniel Remar i avsikt att implementera ovanstående koncept. Speltester visar på hög grad av nöjdhet hos spelare, och implementationen anses således ha lyckats väl.

A presente pesquisa tem, como principal objetivo, o estudo do tema do amor nas letras das compositoras Dolores Duran e Maysa, produzidas na década de 1950. Em tais letras, o amor é compreendido a partir da óptica do sujeito poético que centraliza sua atenção no outro, o objeto amado. Além desse enfoque, investigamos um tema recorrente, o espaço de manifestação do amor, lugar ao qual se vincula o citado sujeito poético, em cuja representação percebemos a influência do ambiente na exposição de suas emoções, em geral, identificadas com elementos da natureza, ou mesmo com elementos artificiais, que contribuem como símbolos que ele manipula para dar feição ao seu estado amoroso. Por fim, com base em dados biográficos das autoras acima referidas, avaliamos aspectos de suas vidas sentimentais, ressaltando coincidências refletidas na produção artística de ambas.

Full textDenna rapport beskriver vilken kommunikationskvalitet i form av prestanda, tillförlitlighet och tillgänglighet som kan förväntas av datakommunikationsstandarden OPC. För att ta fram information om kommunikationskvalitén har en praktisk utvärdering i form av duglighetstester utförts. Den praktiska utvärderingen har gjorts med Bosch Rexroths OPC-server OPC.IwSCP och mot Bosch Rexroths styrsystem MTX High Performance. Rapporten ger svar på vilken kommunikationskvalitet som kan förväntas med specificerad OPC-server och styrsystem. Rapporten beskriver också hur några av parametrarna i OPC Foundations API:er påverkar kommunikationskvalitén. Även andra faktorer så som brist på CPU-kraft för OPC-server/OPC-klient påverkar kommunikationskvalitén testas och utvärderas. Resultatet ifrån utförda duglighetstester analyseras utifrån hur möjligheten är att använda OPC för ett driftuppföljning/driftövervakningssystem utvecklat av Volvo IT i Skövde.

Full textObjective: While the efficacy of Dugas and Robichauds (2007) CBT treatment model for GAD has been tested in clinical trials, it is still unclear how the treatment is received in a outpatient setting with clinically referred patients. The present effectiveness study aimed to examine the effect of Dugas and Robichauds (2007) CBT treatment on a large outpatient group (N=188) diagnosed with GAD. In addition other types of CBT treatments delivered to the outpatient group were examined, as well as potential moderators for treatment effect such as age, sex, initial GAD-7 scores and concurrent pharmacological treatment. The treatment for the outpatient group was delivered in a clinic (WeMind, www.wemind.se) specialized in treatments of depression and anxiety. Method: The study is an analysis of gathered data from CBT treatments of GAD during a 3 year span at the clinic. Patients (N=188) diagnosed with GAD were categorized according to type of CBT treatment received and if treatment was completed with intact data. 71 patients were treated with Dugas and Robichauds (2007) CBT treatment, but 22 of these patients also received other CBT interventions at the same time. 33 patients received other kinds of CBT treatment. A large group (N=84) had missing data or did not complete treatment. Measurements taken at the beginning and end of treatment were Generalized Anxiety Disorder scale-7 (GAD-7), Public Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and Penn State Worry Questionnaire (PSWQ). Clinical remission was measured at the end of treatment with the help of the therapists. A completeranalysis design was used with no waitlist or control group. Results: A paired samples T-test for patients treated with Dugas and Robichauds (2007) CBT treatment and measured with GAD-7 and PHQ-9 gave significant results for GAD-7, t70=13,17 (p<0.001) and PHQ-9, t67=10,25 (P<0.001). 46 of the 71 patients (65%) was assessed with clinical remission (no clinical diagnoses after treatment). Effectsize calculated with Cohen's d were GAD-7=1.76, PHQ-9=1.46 and PSWQ=1.76. Moderators were examined by calculating GAD-7 change score (difference pre-post GAD-7) and correlating the change score with age, sex, initial GAD-7 score and pharmacological treatment. Age and sex gave no significant results. Whether concurrent pharmacological treatment had an moderator effect was examined by categorizing the patients into three groups: (1) no pharmacological treatment, (2) stable pharmacological treatment and (3) changed pharmacological treatment (increased dosage or new treatment). Again no significant effect was found. One positive significant correlation was found with initial GAD-7 scores and GAD-7 change score, GAD-7, r=.66, t69=7,36 (p<0.001). Higher initial GAD-7 measurement correlated with a greater change score. Conclusions:The results indicate a large treatment effect for Dugas and Robichauds (2007) CBT treatment model for GAD in an normal outpatient setting, with clinically referred patients and treatment administered by general CBT therapists. The effect was superior compared to the group that received general CBT treatment interventions for GAD. The effect of treatment measured with GAD-7 and PHQ-9 was also drastically improved if other CBT interventions was added to the treatment model, but these interventions did not have an effect on clinical remission. Serious limitations such as a high percentage of drop outs, a completeranalysis model, no control group and no follow up data restrict the possible interpretations of the results.

Full textA presente dissertação de mestrado analisa a contribuição da religião enquanto elemento de legitimação política na obra de Alexander Dugin, tanto no contexto da política interna - no estímulo ao sentimento de coesão nacional e inclinação para modelos autoritários de poder -, quanto para enquadrar ideologicamente a política internacional – o reconhecimento de esferas de poder e espaços civilizacionais: o retorno dos impérios. Para tal, faz-se uma análise qualitativa e hermenêutica a partir de duas teses antagônicas que aparecem constantemente na obra do autor: à pós-história de Hegel, Kojève e Fukuyama, Dugin responde com a visão Tradicionalista do Eterno Retorno, que encontra em Samuel Huntington uma inusitada expressão contemporânea. Como o retorno à religião é capaz de modular a universalização dos valores ocidentais? A expectativa de transição e convergência do espaço pós-soviético e do mundo pós-colonial para o modelo ocidental não se realiza porque o próprio Ocidente não é mais o mesmo com o fim da União Soviética. O pós-socialismo coincide com a pósmodernidade e preserva os novos Estados em um constante estado de conflito. O retorno da religião à política seria uma reação consequente da condição pós-Ocidental. Dugin, no entanto, não é mero espectador das dinâmicas da política internacional. Sua obra é um manifesto político endereçado a todos os descontentes com a vigente ordem internacional, um apelo à união de diferentes regimes e grupos políticos e religiosos através de um “ecumenismo distante” que só se coaduna pela existência de um inimigo comum, o Ocidente.
This master's dissertation analyzes the contribution of religion and tradition as elements of political legitimation in Alexander Dugin's work, both in the context of domestic politics - in stimulating the feeling of national cohesion and the inclination towards authoritarian models of power - and in framing it ideologically for international politics - the recognition of spheres of power and civilizational spaces: the return of empires. For this, a qualitative and hermeneutic analysis will be made from two antagonistic theses that appear constantly in the author's work: to the posthistory of Hegel, Kojève and Fukuyama, Dugin responds with the Traditionalist view of the Eternal Return, which he finds in Samuel Huntington an unusual contemporary expression. How is the return to religion able to modulate the universalization of Western values? The expectation of transition and convergence from post-Soviet space and post-colonial world to the Western model is not realized because the West itself is no longer the same with the end of the Soviet Union. Post-socialism coincides with late modernity and preserves the new states in a constant state of conflict. For Dugin, the return of religion to politics is a consequent reaction to the post-Western condition in the West. Dugin, however, is not merely a spectator of the dynamics of international politics. His work is a political manifesto addressed to all discontented with the prevailing international order, an appeal to the union of different political and religious groups through a "distant ecumenism" that is only matched by the existence of a common enemy, the West.

Full textRobust Hinfinity or mu controller design is based on a set of weighting functions representing performance specifications and uncertainty sets with the goal of achieving the desired trade off between performance and robustness. However, once the robust controller is implemented, its parameters are fixed and no tuning is possible. Yet, plant uncertainty arises from the inevitable discrepancy between the true plant and its model. Thus, the capability of tuning the controller is often required in order to re-establish a favorable tradeoff between performance and robustness on-line.
Using a framework based on the internal model control (IMC) structure, we consider the fundamental tradeoff between performance and robustness by analyzing the tradeoff (|Wp(jo)|, | Wa(jo)|) where |W p(jo)| is the weighting for specifying performance and |Wa(jo)| is the maximum magnitude of the additive plant perturbation. In SISO systems and in certain MIMO systems, using only |Wp( jo)|, |Wa(jo)| and the nominal plant model Pn(jo) as input data, the optimal frequency response of the IMC controller Qopt(o) minimizing the structured singular value at each frequency can be obtained. This result provides the tradeoff (| Wp(jo)|, |Wa( jo)|) that yields the minimum of the structured singular value, which can help the control designer in the selection of appropriate weighting functions, and in judging different controller designs against the best achievable level of robust performance. Furthermore, the tradeoff theorem for SISO systems and the optimization algorithm for MIMO systems allow the computation of the optimal performance versus robustness tradeoff (rp(o),| Wa(jo)|), where r p(o) is the largest performance weight for which robust performance can be achieved for fixed |Wa( jo)|. On the other hand, the robust tuning requirement is achieved by fixing a |Wp(jo)| and adjusting |Wa(jo)| and therefore the tuned robust controller can be computed in a simple calculation which can be handled by plant engineers.
MIMO plants with a linear fractional uncertainty model are considered as a more general case for robust tuning design requirement. The framework is to reconfigure an interconnection of the Q-parameter and the uncertainty weights into the IMC-based structure. By defining a matrix H that maps Q into K in a linear fractional transformation, K □ F1( H,Q), the robust controller K can be obtained via a Q-parameter. The tuning strategy of the MIMO robust control design depends on this IMC structure. A systematic design procedure is presented to achieve a sub-optimal Q-parameter along with a tuning technique. A numerical example illustrates the MIMO robust control design and tuning procedure based on the optimization.

Full textThis research presents an analysis of the intersections between the love practices represented in Dolores Duran, Joyce Moreno and Alice Ruiz's songs. The main objective is to question the cultural, discursive and aesthetic experiences of each composer as expressions of modernity and the social role played by women in different moments of the second half of the twentieth century. It was necessary to scrutinize the sociocultural changes of that period to understand the extent to which popular song can represent identities in the context of Brazilian culture and to also understand how the investigation of love practices discussed in the songs lay bare new behaviors of the modern individual in the face of these transformations. The first chapter is dedicated to the study of Brazilian music as a cultural asset, which feeds the music industry. At the same time, it has the purpose of discussing issues about genre as a product of the contemporary Brazilian cultural identity. This debate also builds the participation of women in this art, in an attempt to assert the importance of their contribution to reorganize and consolidate new cultural, aesthetic and discursive experiences in Brazilian popular songs. The problematizations performed in the last chapter are based on the information in the first chapters of this thesis, in which fragments of discourses about love in modern times are discussed, observing representative elements of this new behavior in society. Thus, this research presents the love in process in the songs of Dolores Duran, Joyce Moreno and Alice Ruiz.

ABSTRACT: The employment of audiology assistants to relieve masters and doctoral level audiologists of routine tasks is a timely and controversial topic in our field. Berardino (2000) examined the roles of audiology assistants within Veteran's Administration (VA) Hospitals using an e-mail survey that was sent out to VA audiologists. The results of that survey suggested that the majority of VA audiologists were in favor of the participation of audiology assistants in the clinic to varying degrees.
The purpose of this survey was to determine the current attitudes of audiologists and otolaryngologists toward the role of audiology assistants in the hearing health care profession. The attitudes and opinions of otolaryngologists were of particular interest because this population had not been included in earlier surveys despite the fact that they often employ both audiologists and audiology assistants. The survey was e-mailed to a randomly selected group of audiologists and otolaryngologists. In addition to general opinion and demographic questions, participants were asked to rate specific audiology tasks on a six-point scale ranging from very appropriate to very inappropriate.
Results indicate that audiologists and otolaryngologists generally agree on which tasks are appropriate for audiology assistants; however, audiologists feel audiology assistants may be a threat to the profession of audiology whereas otolaryngologists do not.

Resumo: Nesse trabalho analisaremos a atuação de duas cantoras e compositoras de grande talento no cenário musical, antes monopolizado pelos homens, Dolores Duran e Maysa, ambas com uma linguagem poética na qual o amor era comumente retratado enquanto fossa, ilusão e dor em canções que, cheias de sentimentos e emoções, expressavam o sentimento de perda, as desesperanças, os desencontros e a solidão, ou seja, o sentimento real de seus amores. As letras aqui analisadas são entendidas como expressão de vivências pessoais e das percepções das duas compositoras, das tensões e possibilidades de uma nova forma de feminilidade no período retratado, no qual as mulheres puderam ultrapassar as limitações de seu papel social circunscrito ao espaço doméstico e à submissão. Iremos abordar, através das letras das compositoras, o tema do amor e dor, as relações amorosas, na visão feminina, pouco divulgado na época, pois a maioria das canções eram compostas por homens. Assim, apontaremos uma desnaturalização do papel da mulher vigente no período. Também iremos abordar às intensas transformações econômicas, culturais e sociais ocorridas na década de 1950, que é reconhecida como "Anos Dourados". Houve uma sucessiva mudança de hábitos, pois as cidades começaram a crescer, tanto territorial como populacionalmente, em um processo crescente de "modernização" através da popularização do cinema norteamericano e da entrada da televisão. Iremos discutir como a mulher está vivenciando as mudanças do período, tanto na economia como na sociedade e também pensar como a mulher tem sido retratada nos meios midiáticos (revista, rádio e a musica), a partir de duas matrizes (a mulher do lar e a leviana) e como certos produtos refletiam essa dicotomia
Abstract: In this paper we will analyze the performance of two great female singers and composers in the musical scene, previously monopolized by the men, Dolores Duran and Maysa, both with a poetic language in which the love was normally portrayed as depression, illusion and pain in songs that, full of feelings and emotions, expressed the feeling of loss, hopelessness, mismatch and loneliness, that is, the real feeling of their loves. Here, the lyrics analyzed are understood as expressions of personal experiences and perceptions of the two female composers, from the tensions and possibilities of a new form of femininity in the portrayed period where the women were able to overcome the limitations of their social role limited to domestic space and submission. We will discuss, through the lyrics of the composers, the themes of love and pain, love relationships, in the feminine view, little publicized at the season, because most of the songs were composed by men. Thus, we will point out a denaturation of the role of women in the period under consideration. We will also address the intense economic, cultural, and social transformations that occurred in the 1950s, known as "Golden Years". There was a successive change in habits because the cities began to grow, both territorially and populationally, in a growing process of "modernization" through the popularization of American cinema and television entry. We will discuss how the woman is experiencing the changes of the period, both in the economy and in society, and also to think about how women have been portrayed in the media (magazine, radio and music), from two matrices (the home woman and the reckless woman) and how especific products reflected this dichotomy

Full textThe site of Bòbila Madurell is one of the most important archaeological sites for understanding the first peasant communities established in the northeast of the Iberian Peninsula, especially regarding the “Vallesian” group of the Pit Graves culture. However, traditionally, archaeological research on this archaeological group has focused mainly in the study of funerary complexes, leaving in second term information about domestic and productive contexts. The archaeological intervention in the sector Mas Duran of the site, during the seasons of 1991 and 1992, revealed the existence of a large concentration of Neolithic structures belonging to contexts linked both to subsistence activities (maintenance pits and habitat structures) and to the symbolic and ritual sphere (funeral assemblages), with a rich archaeological record, both quantitative and qualitative, an obvious sign of the recurrent occupation of this area of the site. This thesis aims, by studying this archaeological record recovered in Mas Duran from a holistic perspective, to identify aspects related to the human organization and settlement patterns, as well as to cultural practices and ways of life of the communities living in the Vallès plain, during the Middle (4.250-3.500 cal BC) and Late Neolithic (2.830-2.490 cal BC) periods, pointing to the socio-economic and cultural conditions that generated them. In this sense, it has been possible to demonstrate the existence of two distinct models of settlement and socio-cultural organization of these rural communities, but with similar farming practices.

Resumo: Tradicionalmente incluso na extinta família Bombacaceae, Pseudobombax Dugand pertence à subfamília Bombacoideae, Malvaceae sensu lato. Abrange cerca de 29 espécies, das quais 16 ocorrem em território brasileiro e nove são endêmicas. No Brasil, a maioria das espécies é encontrada no sudeste, planalto central e nordeste. As espécies possuem considerável valor comercial, por serem utilizadas no mundo todo, principalmente na ornamentação e arborização urbana. Estudos sobre o sistema reprodutivo e citogenéticos são raros para o gênero. Com este trabalho, objetivou-se o estudo da biologia floral e reprodutiva, assim como a análise cariotípica de três espécies de Pseudobombax da região sudeste do Brasil. As espécies de Pseudobombax são importantes fontes de pólen e néctar para seus visitantes florais, especialmente por florescerem na estação seca. Algumas diferenças foram observadas entre os períodos de floração e frutificação durante os dois anos de estudo, as quais podem estar relacionadas a diferentes quantidades de chuva antes do início da floração. As flores apresentam antese crepuscular/noturna, com características que se encaixam na síndrome da quiropterofilia. As flores de P. tomentosum são significativamente diferentes das demais espécies (maior comprimento da flor, das pétalas, do ovário e do cálice), porém a forma e o indumento dos frutos é a principal característica que podemos utilizar para separar taxonomicamente as três espécies. Os estudos reprodutivos das três espécies evidenciaram alta porcentagem de fecundação cruzada, indicando alogamia. A eficácia reprodutiva manteve-se alta, confirmando a necessidade de polinização cruzada e, consequentemente, de seus polinizadores. As análises citogenéticas mostraram contagens inéditas, com 2n=88 para Pseudobombax sp. (nova) e P. tomentosum e 2n=84 para P. grandiflorum. O número básico sugerido para as espécies de Pseudobombax é x=44. Foi confirmado mais de um número cromossômico no gênero, o que sugere a derivação por disploidia, decorrente de possíveis rearranjos cromossômicos. Pseudobombax sp. (nova) e P. grandiflorum, espécies muitas vezes confundidas entre si, possuem números cromossômicos diferentes (2n=88 e 2n=84, respectivamente) sendo este um caráter adicional importante na separação taxonômica das duas espécies. O bandamento CMA/DAPI evidenciou um padrão conservado dentro do gênero, com seis bandas CMA+ nas três espécies. Os valores métricos dos cromossomos das espécies em estudo indicaram um comprimento do complemento cromossômico pequeno, nas quais o menor tamanho cromossômico foi de 0,3 µm em P. grandiflorum e o maior foi de 3,5 µm em P. tomentosum. O diferente número cromossômico, bem como algumas características morfológicas florais e do fruto podem ser utilizadas na separação taxonômica das três espécies de Pseudobombax em estudo, evidenciando assim a existência de uma nova espécie para o gênero
Abstract: Traditionally included in the extinct family Bombacaceae, Pseudobombax Dugand belongs to the Bombacoideae subfamily, Malvaceae sensu lato. Composed by about 29 species, of which 16 occur in Brazilian territory and nine are endemic. In Brazil, most species are found in the southeast, northeastern and central plains. Species have considerable commercial value, for being used worldwide, especially in ornamentation and urban forestry. Studies on the reproductive system and cytogenetics are rare for the genus. This work aimed to study the floral and reproductive biology, as well as analysis of karyotype of three species of Pseudobombax from southeastern Brazil. The Pseudobombax species are important sources of pollen and nectar for their floral visitors, especially by flourishing in the dry season. Some differences were observed between the periods of flowering and fruiting during the two years of study, which may be related to different amounts of rainfall before flowering. The flowers have crepuscular/nocturnal anthesis, with features that fit in the chiropterophily syndrome. The flowers of P. tomentosum are significantly different from the other species (greater length of the flower petals, the ovary and the cup), but the shape and indumentum of the fruit is the main feature that we can use to separate the three species taxonomically. Reproductive studies of the three species showed a high percentage of outcrossing, indicating outcrossing. The reproductive efficiency remained high, confirming the necessity of cross-pollination and, therefore, their pollinators. Cytogenetic analysis showed unprecedented chromosome counts, with 2n=88 to Pseudobombax sp. (new) and P. tomentosum and 2n=84 for P. grandiflorum. The basic chromosome number suggested to Pseudobombax is x=44. We confirmed more than one chromosome number in the genus, which suggests derivation by disploidy, due to possible chromosomal rearrangements. Pseudobombax sp. (new) and P. grandiflorum, species often confused with each other, presented different chromosome numbers (2n=88 or 2n=84 , respectively) which is an important taxonomic character for the separation of the two species. The CMA/DAPI banding showed a conserved pattern within the genus, with six CMA+ bands in all species. The metric values of the chromosomes of the species under study indicated a small chromosomal complement length, wherein the smallest chromosome size was 0.3 µm in P. grandiflorum and the largest was 3.5 µm in P. tomentosum. The different chromosome numbers, as well as some floral and fruit morphological characteristics can be used for taxonomic separation of the three Pseudobombax species under study Pseudobombax, thus revealing the existence of a new species for the genus

Full textA pesquisa doutoral realizada na Universidade de Aveiro sobre o “fazer musical” dos violonistas-compositores Roland Dyens (1955) e Dusan Bogdanovic (1955) através de estudo exploratório qualitativo observacional participante em masterclasses, recitais e ensembles em Festivais de Violão realizados na Europa, de outubro de 2012 a novembro de 2013, apoiado pelo estudo da totalidade da obra discográfica de Dyens e Bogdanovic entre os anos de 1979 e 2011. A investigação tem como eixo teórico os modos de ‘composição em performance’ desenvolvidos por Finnegan (1989) e as variáveis do “fazer musical” de Elliott (1995) em “performance”, “composição”, “arranjo” e “improvisação” para a análise qualitativa e quantitativa do “fazer musical” dos violonistas-compositores estudados na presente Tese. O percurso metodológico foi desenvolvido em 3 fases: Revisão de Literatura; Estudo Discográfico de Dyens e Bogdanovic e Pesquisa Empírica através de Estudo Observacional não Participante e Participante. Examino como Dyens e Bogdanovic articulam os tipos de “fazer musical” em situações presenciais, comparando-as com suas discografias. A Pesquisa Empirica foi realizada na França, Espanha, Liechtenstein e Sérvia, em 6 Festivais de Violão realizados nas cidades de Belgrado, Colmar, Paris, Sevilha e Vaduz. Dentre as principais contribuições da pesquisa: a) apresentação sistemática e inédita da totalidade das obras gravadas em discos por Dyens e Bogdanovic (perído de 33 anos) revelando as características e evolução do “fazer musical”de ambos; b) discussão e redefinição de modalidades e conceitos de “fazer musical” a partir da Revisão de Literatura, Estudo Discográfico e Pesquisa Empírica ; c) novas obras compostas, arranjadas e apresentadas no período da Pesquisa Empírica enquanto músico-participante em masterclasses com Dyens e Bogadanovic.
Doctoral research conducted at the University of Aveiro about the "music-making" of guitarist-composers Roland Dyens (1955) and Dusan Bogdanovic (1955) through exploratory qualitative observational study participant in masterclasses, recitals and ensembles in Festivals of Guitar held in Europe from October 2012 to October 2013, supported by the study of the entire record of work Dyens and Bogdanovic between the years of 1979 and 2011. The research has as theoretical axis composition modes in performance ' developed by Finnegan (1989) and the variables of "music-making" of Elliott (1995) on "performance", "composition", "arrangement" and "improvisation" for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the guitarists-composers` music-making studied in this Thesis. The methodological path was developed in 3 phases: Literature Review; Dyens and Bogdanovic Discograph Study and Empirical Research through observational study non-participant and participant. It is examined how Dyens and Bogdanovic articulate the kinds of "music-making" in face-to-face situations, comparing them with their discographies. Empirical Research was carried out in France, Spain, Liechtenstein and Serbia, in 6 Guitar Festivals held in the cities of Belgrade, Colmar, Paris, Seville and Vaduz. One of the main contributions of this research: a) systematic and unprecedented presentation of all the works recorded on discs by Dyens and Bogdanovic (period of 33 years) revealing the characteristics and evolution of the "music-making" of both; b) discussion and redefinition of terms and concepts of "make music" from the Literature Review, Discographic Study and Empirical Research; c) new works composed, arranged and presented in the Empirical Research as a musician-participant in masterclasses with Dyens and Bogdanovic.

A dissertação se propõe a examinar o processo composicional do músico Antônio Carlos Jobim, em parceria com Vinícius de Moraes, Dolores Duran e Newton Mendonça, nos anos iniciais do movimento conhecido como Bossa Nova (1958 e 1959). Durante este período é possível observar certo movimento nas canções produzidas, mostrando tanto aproximações como distanciamentos com o repertório musical anterior (o samba-canção). Tendo como base as noções de tradição/modernidade, erudito/popular, procuramos refletir o papel do músico como uma espécie de cronista social.
The paper proposes to examine the compositional process of the musician Antonio Carlos Jobim, in partnership with Vinícius de Moraes, Newton Mendonça and Dolores Duran in the early years of the movement known as Bossa Nova (1958 and 1959). During this period you can see some movement in the songs produced, showing both approaches and departures with the previous musical repertoire (samba-canção). Based on the notions of tradition / modernity, classical / popular, we reflect on the role of the musician as a kind of social chronicler.

Full textDenna studie har syftat till att undersöka och skapa förståelse för hur skolledare/rektorer resonerar runt specialpedagogiska frågor och hur de beskriver den egna skolans specialpedagogiska verksamhet. Inom vilket eller vilka specialpedagogiskt teoretiska perspektiv förs den specialpedagogiska diskursen bland skolledare/rektorer? Undersökningen har en kvalitativ ansats och grundar sig inom ett hermeneutiskt och ett tolkande/konstruktivistiskt paradigm. Undersökningsmetoden består av intervjuer med fem skolledare/rektorer inom olika skolverksamheter i en kommun. Intervjuerna analyserades utifrån frågeställningarna genom en analysnyckel och särskilda teman utkristalliserades. Resultaten visar att specialpedagogik är komplext och mångfacetterat och att begreppet specialpedagogik kan ses som en paraplyterm med ett omfångsrikt och växlande innehåll. Samtliga specialpedagogiska perspektiv; det traditionella/kompensatoriska perspektivet, det relationella perspektivet samt dilemmaperspektivet kommer till uttryck när skolledarna/rektorerna beskriver specialpedagogik i generella termer. Samtliga specialpedagogiska perspektiv återfinns också när skolledarna/rektorerna beskriver den egna skolans specialpedagogiska verksamhet om än i olika omfattning. Verksamheter inom det relationella perspektivet står tillbaka i jämförelse med verksamheter inom det traditionella/kompensatoriska perspektivet och inte minst dilemmaperspektivet. Slutsatsen av denna studie är att tyngdpunkten i skolledarnas/rektorernas beskrivningar ligger inom dilemmaperspektivet. Dilemmaperspektivet är ett nytt betraktelsesätt när man resonerar runt specialpedagogiska frågor och det behövs mer forskning inom det perspektivet.
