Abstract:
The current research deals with an important category of society, namely, children in the primary education stage (fourth primary), which is an important stage of human development, as the child of different sex witnesses changes from different aspects of sexual, mental and emotional development. After the researcher took and looked at a group of drawings of children of financially poor families who are 9 years old, it became clear to them some characteristics and psychological dimensions that emerged clearly and tangibly, which were developed by children in the form of subconscious projections through shapes, colors and lines, in drawing children of poor families Of the parts of the human body, we clearly notice the psychological dimensions through drawing those parts, as it tends to draw (the size of the human head is large), which indicates that the child suffers from frustration or excessive sensitivity and excessive preoccupation with fantasies, and exaggeration in drawing the size of the head greatly expresses On the individual's need to depend on others.

Abstract:
The article discusses the issue of training students of pedagogical universities in drawing lessons. The problem of research is traced through the prism of cause-and-effect relationships, and its relevance is also voiced. The object and subject of research is formulated. Attention is focused on the description of the scheme of the psychological and methodological foundations for the implementation of the program task, which were tested through a practical experiment – on the example of the image of the eye of the plaster head of David. The given theoretical data are illustrated by the author's graphic materials (diagram and figures). The purpose of the study is to reveal the psychological and methodological aspects of cognitive and creative activity. Scientific novelty lies in the development and experimental verification of the psychological and methodological basis for teaching drawing. As a result of the use of experimental materials, the effectiveness of their use in the conditions of full-time and part-time drawing studies at the Pedagogical University was revealed.

Abstract:
AbstractThe concept ofmanipulative abductionis devoted to capture the role of action in many interesting cognitive situations: action provides otherwise unavailable information that enables the agent to solve problems by starting and performing a suitable abductive process of generation or selection of hypotheses. We observe that many external things, usually inert from an epistemological point of view, can be transformed intoepistemic mediators. I will present some details derived from the history of the discovery of the non-Euclidean geometries that illustrate the relationships between strategies for anomaly resolution and visual thinking. Geometrical diagrams are external representations that play both amirrorrole (to externalize rough mental models) and anunveilingrole (as gateways to imaginary entities). I describe them as epistemic mediators able to perform various explanatory, non-explanatory, and instrumental abductive tasks (discovery of new properties or new propositions/hypotheses, provision of suitable sequences of models as able to convincingly verifying theorems, etc.). I am also convinced that they can be exploited and studied in everyday non-mathematical applications also to the aim of promoting new trends in artificial intelligence modeling of various aspects of hypothetical reasoning: finding routes, road signs, buildings maps, for example, in connection with various zooming effects of spatial reasoning. I also think that the cognitive activities of optical, mirror, and unveiling diagrams can be studied in other areas of manipulative and model-based reasoning, such as the ones involving creative, analogical, and spatial inferences, both in science and everyday situations so that this can extend the epistemological, computational, and the psychological theory.

Abstract:
Detailed psychological testing is needed to identify cognitive impairments after anesthesia and surgery. This problem can be solved by development of the program of combination psychological tests with their assessment based on the Z-score, also known as the standard deviation test. The objective: to determine reference values of psychological tests to assess the results of Z-score.Subjects and methods. The study was included 30 healthy volunteers and 43 patients who underwent surgery. The panel of psychological tests consisted of the clock drawing test, oral counting test, assessment of short-term memory, sequence set, Digit Symbol Substitution Test, and the classic Stroop test. The mean values and standard deviations were calculated for each of the groups to evaluate the test results by Z-score.Results. It was found that using standard deviations obtained in the group of healthy volunteers as reference values for Z-score resulted in a higher percentage of deterioration in the result of repeated tests compared to using reference values obtained in group of patients. Conclusion: When using Z-score for cognitive tests, it is better to use the means and SD obtained in a group of healthy volunteers taking into account the possibility of finding differences where there are none (type I error).

Abstract:
Merely a threat? Worldwide transformation as a chance of development - psychological reflection The author considers the psychological aspects of globalisation, drawing attention to the possible effects of worldwide transformations. She presents definition problems and characterises the main currents and mechanisms of globalisation at the turn of the 20th and 21st century. Several standpoints of contemporaneity researchers concerning the evaluation of the effects of undergoing transformations have also been recalled. Noticing the diverse effects for development and the functioning of individuals and groups, she concentrates on a selected aspect of the living environment, namely, on diversity. She formulates the thesis that the heterogeneity of the environment, which constitutes a characteristic of globalisation, stimulates development in its various phases and fields, optimising particularly the functioning of reflective persons who enter into dialogue with contemporaneity.

The article discusses the psychological aspects of legal education of older preschool children. Currently, in preschool education, the process of improvement is ongoing. Pedagogical activity is aimed at the formation of a comprehensively developed child, and for this purpose special development programs are introduced that combine different aspects of the pedagogical process. Legal education, being one of the leading trends in modern society, involves drawing a child into the world of human values. The psychological aspect is the most important in the formation of the child's psyche at the older age of a preschooler, and reveals the degree of development of the psychological qualities of the child that are necessary for the development of the types of learning activities.

Abstract:
The present study aimed to examine children’s conceptions of coronavirus as denoted in their verbal descriptions and drawings and whether these vary as a function of children’s age and the mode of expression. Data were collected in Greece during spring 2020 and 344 children aged 4 to 10 years were first asked to verbally describe coronavirus and then to produce a drawing of it. Content analysis of data revealed the following main themes: (a) Coronavirus, (b) Medical, (c) Psychological, and (d) Social. Results showed that children from an early age present a remarkable level of understanding of coronavirus and the COVID-19 disease as a multidimensional construct, which can be designated not only through characteristics of the Sars-Cov-2 but also through its medical, social, and psychological consequences on people’s lives. Moreover, children were found to emphasize different aspects of this construct depending on their age and the mode of expression.

This study aims to determine the offer and integration of Sufistic education on adolescent religious attitudes. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of library research. Researchers obtain data from various literature such as books, journals, scientific works, and other documents that examine research-related themes. The data obtained is then analyzed by first reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. The results found that Sufistic education can be reviewed and integrated into aspects of adolescent attitude formation (cognitive, affective, conative) by studying Shari'a education with the aim of Sufism in the cognitive aspect, through a psychological-humanist approach in the affective aspect, and through tafakkur activities to perfect the conative aspect. The creation of these three aspects must be supported by religious disciplines in their environments, such as character and role models from teachers and parents, instilling a sense of faith in adolescents, and a good religious environment.

Abstract:
Drawing on Jan Golinski's analysis of Humphry Davy's adoption of a variety of social roles, this paper seeks to ground Davy's social interactions by identifying his underlying psychological orientation. A close reading of Davy's own letters and the accounts of him given by his contemporaries suggest that many facets of his behaviour accord closely with those associated with a narcissistic personality, as described in the psychological literature. This perspective helps us understand better many aspects of Davy's life, including his fraught relationship with the Royal Society during and after his election to the presidency in 1820, and especially his conduct in 1816–1818, when he engaged in a vituperative priority dispute with George Stephenson over the invention of the miners' safety lamp. By viewing Davy as a narcissist we can unify apparently disparate aspects of his behaviour.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine the roles of four distinct but related aspects of psychological capital – optimism, hope, self-efficacy and resilience – in facilitating employee creativity. Drawing on the psychological capital perspective and the creativity literature, we propose that optimism and hope increase employee self-efficacy and resilience, which benefits employee creativity. Moreover, the authors hypothesize that self-efficacy and resilience have mediating roles in the psychological capital context, which, in turn, has a positive effect on individual employees’ creativity. Design/methodology/approach Data were obtained from a survey of multiple manufacturing firms on individual employee psychological capital and creativity. Structural equation modeling was used to test the hypotheses regarding psychological capital and creativity in a sample of 468 individual employees. Findings The results provide evidence that only resilience plays a mediating role between optimism and hope and employee creativity. The authors found that psychological capital is positively related to employee creativity. Practical implications These findings provide guidance for understanding how to better address the psychological capital that contributes to employee creativity in the workplace. Specifically, this study provides a rationale for facilitating the development of employee creativity by exposing the effect and path of psychological capital. Originality/value This study is the first to examine the antecedents and mediating role of four distinct yet correlated dimensions of psychological capital on employee creativity. The findings of this study contribute to the theoretical development of a conceptual model that investigates the black box of the four aspects of psychological capital and creativity.

Abstract:
The article reveals the methodical principles of teaching the short-term drawing, the relationship between educational and creative aspects, the differences between, and the advantages of a long-term drawing and a sketch, and also substantiates reasons of its compulsory introduction to the program at the Department of Drawing of the National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture. It elucidates the problem of requirements and implementation of short-term drawing in the context of development students' ability to use graphic expressiveness and plastic characteristics of a drawing. Finally, it formulates the requirements to tasks for short-term drawings. The sketch is the most individual way of artistic thinking and includes an analysis of creative and psychological selection. Such qualities of a short-term drawing as freshness of the form, instant expression of a complex set of thoughts with the help of a concise graphical language, requires for its perception a certain professional approach, conscious, solid, error-free decision making process and has a right to exist along with independent exhibition works. Sketches help develop creative abilities, with the help of minimal concise tools: lines, tonal spots, strokes. In the short-term drawing there is a constant search for their own technical methods, style, system, content, themes, it is both creative and educational at the same time. A coherent and distinct vision, the distribution of masses and spots, compositions of light and shadow, the solution of spatial composition remain important tasks of a sketch. That is, due to a sketch, a student forms their views on the choice of composition, foreshortening, identifies material and actual conception of an image. Similarly, the perception of a bulk form is experimentally proved that it can only be perceived by changing different sides. Getting a complete picture of an image from one point of view is impossible, that is, without sketches. In the process of working on drawings, one not only adjusts a figurative plan, but often changes all the conception of the artistic image. Therefore, all indications in a long-term drawing without sketches will be ineffective, if there is no figurative idea, and a short-term drawing should be entered into the educational process.

Abstract:
Abstract Trauma studies have seen rapid growth in popularity within the past two decades, moving from a psychological phenomenon to a concept utilized by literary critics, sociologists, and now biblical scholars. Yet, most of the work on trauma theory within biblical studies focuses on psychological aspects of trauma instead of sociological or cultural aspects of trauma. Drawing on Jeffery Alexander’s theory of cultural trauma, a cultural trauma reading of Micah 1–3 reveals how Micah 1–3 as a book transforms Micah’s localized psychological trauma to become a national trauma, explaining why scribes preserved Micah 1–3. Like holocaust testimony that became a cultural trauma, Micah’s testimony to his trauma became a trauma for all of Judea. To create a cultural trauma, Micah 1–3 define the trauma as divine punishment through an Assyrian invasion due to a breakdown of social order seen in the corrupt owners, rulers, and religious leaders. This cultural trauma then becomes one of the early texts to shape later biblical writers’ understanding of divine punishment. This article offers a different perspective of trauma theory and shows how cultural trauma theory explains why Micah 1–3 were preserved.

Abstract:
It is widely recognised that employment is vital in assisting young refugees’ integration into a new society. Drawing on psychosocial safety climate (PSC) theory, this research investigated the effect of organisational climate on young refugee workers’ mental health (psychological distress) through stressful social relational aspects of work (e.g., harassment, discrimination). Drawing on data from 635 young refugees aged between 15 and 26 in South Australia, 116 refugees with paid work were compared with 519 refugee students without work, and a sample of young workers from Australian Workplace Barometer (AWB) data (n = 290). The results indicated that refugees with paid work had significantly lower psychological distress compared with refugees with no paid work, but more distress than other young Australian workers. With respect to workplace harassment and abuse, young refugee workers reported significantly more harassment due to their ongoing interaction and engagement with mainstream Australian workers compared with unemployed refugees. Harassment played a vital role in affecting psychological health in refugees (particularly) and other young workers. While refugee youth experienced harassment at work, overall, their experiences suggest that their younger age upon arrival enabled them to seek and find positive employment outcomes. Although PSC did not differ significantly between the employed groups, we found that it likely negatively influenced psychological distress through the mediating effects of harassment and abuse. Hence, fostering pathways to successful employment and creating safe work based on high PSC and less harassment are strongly recommended to improve refugees’ mental health and adaptation.

Abstract:
Statement of the problem. The article presents an analysis and discussion of the results of diagnostic assessment among pregnant women, allowing us to draw conclusions on indicators of psychological preparedness for motherhood. The purpose the article is to outline the necessary areas of work with women on the way to the formation of the maternal sphere in ontogenesis. Materials and Methods. The research methodology consists of the concept of the formation of the “maternal need-motivation sphere” by G.G. Filippova, the theory of E.V. Matveeva about psychological readiness for motherhood, as well as the analysis and synthesis of studies on motherhood, psychological readiness for motherhood, questions of perinatal psychology, theory of psychological readiness for activity. The study involved 156 married pregnant women aged 25 to 35 with higher or secondary specialized education, with a pregnancy period of no less than 24 weeks. The following psychodiagnostic methods were applied: the projective drawing test “I and my child” by G.G. Filippova, the modified Dembo-Rubinstein scale by G.G. Filippova, test of the relationship of pregnant I.V. Dobryakov’s test on relationships for pregnant women, and the authors’ questionnaire for pregnant women. Research results. The diagnostic results indicate that 79,3 % of women examined are conditionally ready for motherhood, 15 % are not ready, and only 5,7 % of respondents can be considered psychologically ready for motherhood. The last group of women is characterized by unconditional acceptance of a child, themselves as a mother, and the situation of motherhood in general. The correlation and factor analysis of the obtained data made it possible to distinguish four groups of the most informative indicators of psychological readiness for motherhood in pregnant women: the peculiarities of the current situation of the woman, the mother-and-child system, family relations and the social and domestic situation. There are also widely presented factors that make it difficult to form a psychological readiness for motherhood: unfavorable experience of relationships with their own parents, difficulties in establishing emotional contact, lack of knowledge and experience in caring for children. There is a need to work with these aspects before pregnancy. Conclusions are drawn on the importance of comprehensive psychological and pedagogical support of a woman on the way to the formation of the maternal sphere of her personality in relation to genesis, which contributes to the development of psychological preparedness for motherhood.

Abstract:
In this essay we argue for the Janus-faced nature of hope. We show that attempts to sanitise the concept of hope either by separating it conceptually from other phenomena such as wishful thinking, or, more generally, by seeking to minimise the negative aspects of hope, do not help us to understand the nature of hope and its functions as regards religion. Drawing on functional accounts of religion from Clifford Geertz and Tamas Pataki, who both—in their different ways—see the function of religion in terms of its capacity to satisfy deep psychological needs, we demonstrate that religion uniquely positions itself with regard to hope’s two faces, simultaneously exploiting positive and negative aspects of hope.

Abstract:
Traditional Christologies have focused attention on the question of Jesus’ beatific knowing. On the other hand, recent explorations into Spirit Christology raise different questions about his affectivity. Both issues highlight a concern with Jesus’ psychological experience. The present article proposes that both these issues can be fruitfully examined through the lens of the psychological analogy for the Trinity. In particular, Bernard Lonergan’s developments of the analogy drawing as they do on the experience of grace, shed a new and helpful light on the question of Jesus’ knowing and loving. This approach alleviates some of the more problematic aspects of the traditional approach to Jesus’ beatific vision, while also providing a more solid trinitarian basis for Catholic devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Abstract:
Aims, Objectives and BackgroundThe intense working environment of the Emergency Department (ED) is exciting and rewarding; but is renowned for high staff turnover and burnout. The wellbeing and retention of the existing workforce is imperative. The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of early careers nurses in the ED; identify aspects of ED they enjoyed, the challenges and explore potential coping mechanisms used to mitigate negative situations.Method and DesignA qualitative design was used. Eleven semi-structured interviews were conducted with adult and paediatric emergency nurses who had worked in the ED for less than three years. Data were transcribed, coded and analysed using thematic analysis. The setting for this study was an emergency department in a major trauma centre. Data was collected between January-August 2020 following ethical approval. Results and ConclusionFour key themes emerged; (1) Drawn to ED Nursing’ ; (2) ‘Teamwork’; (3)‘Time to care’ and (4) ‘Psychological impact’’. Opportunities for learning and development and being able to provide good levels of patient care were identified important to participants. Challenging aspects of the job included high workloads, exposure to traumatic incidents, violence and aggression. The psychological impact included feelings of burnout, exhaustion, flashbacks, personal growth and perspective. Teamwork, a strong support network and opportunities for formal and informal debrief were identified as helping to mitigate challenging aspects of the jobBy identifying the factors that maintain wellbeing and sustain the workforce, we can promote and support them. The benefits to a stable and well supported workforce in ED are many; improved and sustainable patient care, reduced staff turnover and alleviating pressures on the existing workforce. Research is now drawing on how we can provide psychological support to those who have been faced with caring for patients in a way that challenges their own moral framework.

Chorionic villus sampling (CVS), a new technique for prenatally diagnosing chromosomal and genetic disorders, may soon replace amniocentesis. This procedure, performed by inserting a catheter through the pregnant woman's cervix or through the abdomen and removing cells from the placenta, has the advantages of being available earlier in the pregnancy than amniocentesis (at 9 to 11 weeks gestational age) and of yielding results in a shorter time. Although the medical aspects of the procedure are being investigated, its psychosocial and policy implications have not been studied systematically. These issues include the subjective assessment of risk that prompts women to choose or to reject CVS, the implications of earlier diagnosis for feelings about abortion, the potential of negative findings (i.e., the absence of the designated disorder) for well-being during the remainder of the pregnancy, the ramifications of first trimester identification of fetal sex, equity of access to prenatal diagnosis, and the possible over- utilization of these procedures. Drawing on previous research regarding amniocentesis and more recent research concerning CVS, this article discusses the potential implications of CVS.

Abstract:
The article attempts to investigate the structure and content of the graphic competence of teachers of labor education and technology as an important component of training. Graphic competence of a teacher of labor education and technology is characterized by a conscious need and ability of specialists to use graphic tools to solve professionally oriented problems based on a system of graphic knowledge, skills and experience of graphic activity and individual qualities of teachers, set of external and internal incentives. Currently, in the preparation of bachelors in the course 014.10 Secondary education (Labor training and technology) great importance is attached to the study of professional and practical disciplines related to professional and practical training and determine the formation of graphic competence, such as: «Fundamentals of design and modeling», «Drawing and basics of compositio», «Drawing and painting». Graphics as an independent type of design has a significant pedagogical impact on the cultural and professional development of the future teacher of labor training and technology, in particular, the development of his creative abilities. The graphic activity of higher education seekers is determined by the peculiarities of the three levels of knowledge. The first - perception, the second - imagination as a sign of psychological action; third - as a practical way of technical and technological display of the picture at the conditional level in the form of a graphic composition. Graphic training of bachelors in the qualification «Teacher of labor education and technology» is carried out in the in-depth study of design, drawing and painting, the subject of which is the study of the theoretical foundations of art education. For the effective formation of graphic competence of future teachers of labor education and technology in the direction of 014.10 Secondary education (Labor education and technology), in filling the subjects of professional training of Poltava National Pedagogical University named after V.G. Korolenko methodological aspects are taken into account. Keywords: graphic knowledge, graphic skills, graphic competence, professional training, teacher of labor education and technology.

Abstract:
The depiction of boyhood in the Western world of comics underwent a subtle transformation in the shadow of the Second World War. Major artists of these sequential artistic texts (such as Schultz and Spiegelman) fine-tuned key elements in the set of resources they drew on, effectively changing how readers/viewers engage with the young male protagonists in comics. The shift in affect was realized in storylines; instead of these being driven by external, performance-oriented representations of ‘boyhood’ punctuated by mischievous deeds or heroic exploits, drama was created by a much more complex and nuanced depiction of boyhood that explored the internal emotional and psychological worlds of main boy characters. Drawing on representative examples from two different sets of comics, this article applies a bi-modal, semiotic approach that specifically addresses how facial expressions, gaze and speech/thought bubbles, elements of the interpersonal meta-function, construct a more complex representation of boyhood.

Abstract:
Intersectionality emphasizes numerous points of difference through which those who occupy multiple disadvantaged statuses are penalized. Applying this consideration to the workplace, we explore ways in which status-based and structural aspects of work undermine women and people with physical disabilities and diminish psychological well-being. We conceptually integrate research on the workplace disadvantages experienced by women and people with disabilities. Drawing on a longitudinal analysis of community survey data that includes a diverse sample of people with and without physical disabilities, we explore the claim that women with disabilities are burdened by greater disadvantage in work settings compared to men with disabilities and women and men without disabilities. We find evidence that in comparison with these groups, women with disabilities on average are more psychologically affected by inequitable workplace conditions, partly because they earn less, are exposed to more workplace stress, and are less likely to experience autonomous working conditions.

Abstract:
The three crucial aspects at the heart of the journey toward healing after miscarriage and stillbirth are pastoral, physiological, and psychological. It starts with drawing close to the heart of Christ so that He can transform our minds, bodies, and souls. The sufferer will move from feelings of abandonment to the knowledge of a powerful accompaniment. This passage toward healing reflects Christ, who unites our humanity with his divinity, meets us in our pain, and accepts us as we are in life. The pastoral dimension guides us toward the God who is love, manifested through peace and mercy. The physiological dimension addresses the physical trauma experienced by the body and keeps mothers connected to their children. The psychological dimension heals the mind following injury by way of continuous renewal and transformation through the love of God.

Abstract:
We present an overview of the current state of the issue of developing a psychological profile of a social network user, including methodological and applied aspects. The deviant behavior issue among students on the Internet and its prevention in the educational environment is relevant. The author's psychological technology to build a probable psychological profile of a social network user is presented. According to the method of analyzing the content of the user's Internet page, the method of profiling corresponds to the method of analyzing documents, which is used, in particular, in the complex forensic psychological and linguistic examination of documents with extremist content. It is recommended to take into account the main theme and title of the text; the concepts used in the text; the modality of the emotional evaluation of the object to which the narrative is dedicated; the formation of a certain attitude of the audience towards this object. The development and construction of a probable psychological profile of a social network user are based on systemic, activity-based, subjective approaches, the main provisions of general, social, pedagogical, age and legal psychology, imagology, the basics of forensic psychological examination and methods: analysis of documents with elements of content analysis, psychological reconstruction and drawing up a psychological profile. Using this technology to prevent social deviations, criminal behavior, to develop methodological recommendations for teachers and psychologists on psychological and pedagogical support for children and adolescents with identified social deviations is possible.

Abstract:
Prisons and other correctional settings are spaces often marked by numerous sources of physical, psychological, and emotional insecurity. Researchers have consistently found correctional work to be associated with outcomes such as burnout, posttraumatic stress disorder, and depression. Drawing on open-ended survey questions with correctional workers (CWs) in the province of Ontario, we first identify salient themes in discussions of work stressors and potentially psychologically traumatic events (PPTEs); these include situations involving harm to prisoners, harm to staff, and harms associated with occupational and organizational culture. Next, employing the concept of “habitus,” we consider the social-subjective effects of exposure to PPTEs as revealed in respondent accounts. Key aspects include a disposition of hypervigilance, desensitization, disillusionment, and distrust. We suggest that the CW habitus may, in some ways, serve to mitigate threats in the work environment, though may have negative effects on job performance and well-being, and come to shape social experiences in everyday life.

Abstract:
The novel Burung-Burung Migran created by Miranda Harlan and Sutik AS reveals female power in a way she deals with how hard a life could be. Sutik’s character which portrayed in the novel is suitable to be viewed from feministic perspective. Therefore, the study was taken, besides explaining the structure of the novel, also to explain, in particularly, the image of Sutik’s character in the Burung-Burung Migran’s novel viewed from feministic perspective. The object studied from this novel was about the structure of the novel itself, which divided into three elements; the background, characterization, and the plot of the story. However, Sutik’s characterization was analyzed through three different aspects, physically, psychologically, and socially. This literature study of Burung-Burung Migran applies descriptive qualitative method with feministic ideological mode of literature critics approach. It uses a written form source, taken from the novel “Burung-Burung Migran” by Miranda Harlan and Sutik AS. The data is collected through a literature study and analyzed through several steps, which are (a) data selection, (b) identification and classification of the data, (c) data interpretation, which finally ends in the drawing of conclusion. The result of the study shows that the structure of the novel, “Burung-Burung Migran”, considered from the background, has nine place settings, eight time settings, and five social settings. It has ten characters, which are prominent in the story, also has fifty-five other characters. Considered from the plotting, it uses back-and-forth flow of ideas, which has four climaxes of different stages. However, the image of Sutik’s character is divided into three different aspects, they are one physical aspect, five psychological aspects, and her social aspect is subdivided into three aspects of hers in the family and three others in the society. My suggestion is that another study needs to be conducted towards this novel, from feministic gynocritics perspective. In addition to that point, in order to achieve the best result in conducting a feminist literature study, the appropriate choice of data source is a necessity.

Abstract:
Adolescents with homosexual and bisexual orientations have higher levels of psychological distress than other adolescents. Drawing from previous studies, I hypothesize that this epidemiological pattern is due largely to the interpersonal problems that sexual minorities experience at home and at school. Analysis of longitudinal data based on a nationally representative sample showed that sexual minorities in fact experienced more problems with their parents and peers at school; these factors explained a moderate portion of the gap in distress level between sexual minorities and other adolescents. Adolescent friendships in general tend to develop within groups of individuals who share social backgrounds, but this pattern did not apply to sexual orientation; sexual minorities were not connected closely with each other at school. When they knew each other, however, their friendships reduced psychological distress and protected them from the psychological harm associated with interpersonal problems. I use these findings to discuss unique aspects of adolescent sexual orientation as a dimension of social inequality, focusing on implications for coping behaviors and mental health outcomes.

Abstract:
Critically acclaimed writer, Ian McEwan, has been recognized as a pioneer for writing unique forms of fiction. His craftsmanship has been explained as “rational”, “controlled”, and “precise”. The narrative organization in his works brings out the human nature, which is at times, introduced as misled, confused, and guilt ridden. Influenced by Freud, McEwan has written novels which probe into the psyche of the characters so deeply that they resemble psychological case studies. It is here argued that a psychological reading can be done based on the theories of Erik Erikson; namely, identity crisis and identity formation of the characters. Furthermore, to provide a richer theoretical background, narratology is incorporated. Monika Fludernik‟s narratological novel approach sheds light on issues of misinterpretation and unreliability to further verify the psychological aspects of the work. Atonement and Enduring Love have been analyzed as evidence on the basis of theories in narratology and psychology. Finally, drawing on both theories, a new form of character representation will be manifested on identity and self-recognition.

Abstract:
Psychology is integral to the concepts and practice of leadership. Leadership models often have their roots in psychological paradigms, making it intrinsically easy for psychologists to grasp and apply them alongside clinical models. Psychologists’ ‘second-order’ skills have been used to good effect in the changing landscape of military mental healthcare: modelling adaptive responses to change, understanding the non-conscious aspects of relationships in hierarchical organisations, working with systems, the ability to diagnose situational requirements and act accordingly, drawing on a range of psychological theories and leadership styles. The clinical psychologist as a professional who can help others ‘reframe’ a situation or experience is key to their leadership role within healthcare settings, ‘enabling others to achieve shared purpose in the face of uncertainty’. The contribution that clinical psychology has made to leadership in Defence over the past 20 years will be illustrated by personal accounts from ‘experts by experience’.

Abstract:
This study examines the phenomenon of ‘liberating leadership’, an emerging trend promising self-mastery and collective unity, resonating with the literature on post-heroic leadership. We evaluate the claims of liberating leadership from a psychodynamic perspective, using a Lacanian approach. We examine how post-heroic forms of leadership reconfigure symbolic and imaginary aspects of follower identification, with ambivalent effects. Drawing empirically on the case of a Belgian banking department, we trace how a ‘liberating’ leader was able to garner intense psychological attachment among followers, accompanied by the ‘dark sides’ of personal exhaustion and breakdown, normative pressure to be overly happy, and the scapegoating of contrarian managers representing symbolic prohibition.

Abstract:
Drawing from self-determination theory, this study examines how does perceived parenting and psychological needs relate to identity development and psychosocial adjustment in Portuguese 12th-grade students ( N = 462) who prepare the transition to higher education or to the job market. Path model results revealed two distinct pathways: a “growth-oriented pathway” from need-supporting parenting to integrated career exploration, commitment-making and well-being via need satisfaction and a “vulnerability” pathway from need-thwarting parenting to both diminished well-being and ill-being through need frustration. Findings suggest that perceived parental support is a protective factor, and parental thwarting a risk factor for career decision-making, but this relation is mediated by the adolescents’ subjective feelings of psychological need satisfaction and frustration. Altogether, they suggest the need to customize interventions with adolescents to address “bright” and “dark” trajectories of identity development and establish a supportive counseling climate that facilitates the exploration of different aspects of self-environment in career transition periods.

The research featured peculiarities of the intellectual development of children with severe speech disorders. A set of experiments showed that such children have systemic underdevelopment of verbal and non-verbal functions. The empirical part of the research was based on two methods: a color version of Raven's Advanced Progressive Matrices Test and Wechsler’s Pre-School & Primary Scale of Intelligence in M. N. Ilyina’s adaptation. The data were analyzed with the help of statistical methods. The article focuses on the system of psychological and pedagogical conditions of the intellectual development of preschoolers in the conditions of preschool educational organizations. The authors consider the sensory education as the basis of intellectual development aimed primarily at the development of feelings and perceptions. The content of the intellectual education includes speech development, development of elementary mathematical concepts, and productive activities (construction, modeling, drawing, application), which are considered as significant aspects of intellectual education. The authors compiled, tested, and evaluated a program of intellectual development of senior preschool children with severe speech disorders. The program was based on didactic games.

Abstract:
This article focuses on patient satisfaction, itself based on patient experience, as a means of tapping into patient quality of care. Current measures of patient satisfaction are inadequate. For instance, some do not acknowledge the role of cultural diversity, values, and identities in patient satisfaction. The main purpose of this article is to identify the aspects of an adequate measure of patient satisfaction. A brief review of existing scales is provided. More specifically, a small sample of scales in the following healthcare contexts is critically evaluated: primary care; out-of-hours primary care; outpatient care; nursing care; chronic illness care; integrated elderly care; mental health care; psychiatric care; and compassionate care. Various healthcare settings are explored in order to provide a more holistic overview of patient satisfaction. Drawing on a range of social psychological theories of identity, representation, and action, it is argued that an appropriate measure should be patient-focused and capture patients’ perceptions and experiences of the care they receive; it should be culturally sensitive and consider cultural values; and it should encompass both the physical and psychological dimensions of healthcare. Conclusions provide general recommendations regarding the items that could form part of a new measure of patient satisfaction in healthcare, including a set of generic items that should constitute its backbone. This new universal measure could facilitate more systematic data collection surrounding patient satisfaction as well as the comparison of patient satisfaction in distinct healthcare contexts. A multi-faceted measure of patient satisfaction drawing on social psychological principles will be a pivotal tool for collecting data that are conducive to the improvement of patient quality of care.

Abstract:
This article argues that teenagers become fully capable of consenting to participation in most IRB-approved research involving human subjects at age 14, four years earlier than they are allowed to consent under virtually all states' laws, and, consequently, four years younger than they are able to consent under currently applicable federal regulations. In determining the age at which person is old enough to have decision-making authority, legal institutions look at the intellectual and emotional maturity of someone of the age of the decision-maker, the risks and benefits of allowing the decision to be made by someone of that age, and the risks and benefits of denying a person of that age the authority to make the decision. Given the high level of safety of participating in IRB approved research, the value of doing so for both the society and the teenage subject, and the psychological and neuropsychological research on the specific nature of emotional and intellectual development during the teen years, the balance comes out in favor of allowing younger teens, by the age of 14, authority to consent to participate as subjects in IRB approved research. The current process requiring both teen assent and parental permission should give way to a process that requires only a teen's consent.

Abstract:
The reality in early 2001, after the P2KP-PNPM Mandiri program was implemented to alleviate poverty, there was a revolving business capital for the poor, but after several years in line with that, many credit arrears appeared in non-governmental groups as a result this program did not run optimally, to overcome With this obstacle, the government issued a policy of writing off and rescheduling credit arrears to members of non-governmental groups (KSM). This study uses a descriptive qualitative research type that is casuistic in nature while the approach used in this study is an inductive approach, this research was conducted at P2KP-PNPM Mandiri Gempol Village, Gempol District, Pasuruan Regency. Determination of research subjects using purposive random sampling technique by following the principle of snowball, data collection using documentary methods, in-depth interviews and participatory observation. Examination of the data used source triangulation techniques and method triangulation techniques while data analysis was carried out through three channels, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing/verification. The analysis techniques used were content analysis and thematic analysis. Findings in the field explain that the policy of writing off and rescheduling credit arrears has had a psychological effect on members of Non-Governmental Organizations (KSM). This is because the average KSM member is a poor community whose economic conditions are uncertain. Loan arrears that have not been repaid for a long time can also be caused by various factors including individual personality, cultural, social, religious, and so on. The factors above have made various psychological effects that arise among KSM members which can be seen from the point of view of the cognitive dimension (individual perception, individual opinion, and individual awareness), affective dimension (individual feelings, individual emotional, and individual motivation) and dimensions of conation (attitudes, expressions, individual behavior, individual social interaction dynamics, and individual communication patterns). The psychological effect of the write-off policy on credit arrears is seen from the cognitive dimension; the aspect of individual perception is that because of the grant money, they assume that even if it is not returned there is no problem, the aspect of individual opinion is the tendency to agree and agree, the aspect of individual awareness is discipline, low responsibility and even demoralization appears. The affective dimension: the individual feeling aspect is the tendency to feel happy, the individual emotional aspect is the emotional tendency to be uncontrollable, excessive even though they know responsibility, the individual motivation aspect is life experience, the spirit to organize life back to the front because it is not burdened. Dimensions of conation: aspects of individual attitudes, expressions and behavior are the tendency to surrender and don't want to try, and compromise, aspects of the dynamics of individual social interactions are lack of socializing with society, individualistic and shy, aspects of individual communication patterns are defense tendencies towards problems. The psychological effect of rescheduling credit arrears is seen from the cognitive dimension: the individual perception aspect is the tendency to become a burden in the future, the individual opinion aspect is the tendency to disagree and disagree, the individual awareness aspect is discipline, low responsibility. The affective dimension: the individual feeling aspect is the tendency to feel unhappy, the individual emotional aspect is the tendency to feel depressed and restless and even pretend to forget the credit arrears they have, the individual motivation aspect is the desire to return even though they are forced to. Dimensions of conation: aspects of individual attitudes, expressions, and behavior are the tendency to belittle, reluctant to reverse, burdened, depressed, and there is no belief in being responsible, the dynamic aspect of individual social interactions is lack of socializing with society, individualistic, aspects of individual communication patterns are tendencies closed and defended his own ego.

Abstract:
Both drawings (the one from the first page of the fascicle and the other from the outer side of the cover) show two degrees, two stages of the decomposition of form. In the same process, bodies lose their integrity. They were shown by Schulz as a series of leaping aspects which are disconnected, hence discontinuous. The drawings were made in the 1930s. The beginning of the draughtsman’s development did not anticipate such a great catastrophe of bodily forms. In his works from the second and in part also third decade of the 20th century Schulz defined human figures precisely and unambiguously. Then, however, the proud poses which he took when drawing himself (e. g., in his narcissistic Lvov portrait) or other figures (Budracka or Weingarten) probably could not be repeated. In the final decade of his life (and artistic activity) Schulz was drawing differently, perhaps because he perceived himself and the others in a different way. The body? The draughtsman presents it as just a cluster of vibrating lines. A self-portrait? It is possible only as a psychological study, an exaggerated caricature that stresses individual traits or an icon of oneself (the big head with a hat on top, a small size). In hundreds of compulsive sketches drawn in the 1930s even those principles were not respected any more. The bodies that Schulz drew then, no matter if it was his own body or someone else’s, often approach a boundary behind which there is only trembling. Displacement and movement. Schulz’s sketches do not search for form. They are testimonies of its destruction or maybe better, its palpitation, solution and scattering. For the eye, the body is a phenomenon of the surface. It is only the reduction of distance in an act of love (or aggression) or even a common handshake that change that state. Perhaps then the problem of Schulz’s representation of the body is reduced to perception. The drawn body has no smell or weight (or taste – it is not “meaty”). One cannot even touch it. A hand that makes an attempt to touch naked women, who in Schulz’s drawings take majestic and provocative poses, touches only a sheet of paper. The drawn body exists just for the eye. Thus the last chance for the existing body is keeping its surface. Why is it then that the body from Schulz’s late drawings loses its integrity, why does it so often fall apart under our eyes? What is the body for Schulz-the draughtsman and Schulz-the writer? How does he experience his own corporeality? How does he see himself? How do others see him?

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to outline the need to develop a more balanced approach to addressing the loneliness experience by older people by recognising the psychological and emotional dynamics which cause it. It proposes a more holistic psychosocial approach to loneliness. Design/methodology/approach This paper draws on and reviews the published literature on the psychological aspects of loneliness. Findings Although not extensive, there is sufficient evidence to begin to develop and test more psychosocial approaches to addressing loneliness. Research limitations/implications The evidence base is not extensive and a fair degree of it has not been fully trialled with older people. Practical implications There is an a priori case for using the evidence that exists to develop and test out new psychosocial interventions for addressing loneliness. Social implications It is possible that a more psychosocial approach to loneliness will enable more to be done to address the significant distress of older people experience severe and chronic loneliness. It may also be possible to develop more effective preventative strategies which build resilience in older people. Originality/value The field of loneliness practice and research is overwhelmingly based on sociological analysis and social interventions. This paper is one of the first to explicitly highlight the value in drawing from psychological data in order to develop psychosocial approaches.

Turner’s Three-Process Theory of Power together with Social Identity Theory (SIT) and Self-Categorization Theory (SCT) have been influential in social psychology to examine power-related behaviors. While positivist experimental and survey methods are common in social psychological studies, these approaches may not adequately consider Turner’s constructs due to a comparative lack of ecological validity. Drawing on a methodology-focused review of the existing research of applying aspects of Turner’s theory of power and SIT/SCT, the interpretivist case study approach by using interviews and other data collections is highlighted as an alternative and useful method to the application of Turner’s framework. The applicability of the interpretive case study approach is further emphasized in comparison with the positivist experiments and surveys. This paper also discusses how this new way of exploration may allow us to understand Turner’s work better.

Abstract:
Early Christian teachers and preachers were often cautious about, if not suspicious of, pleasure, but they also had a lively awareness of the psychological aspects of pedagogy, and of the power of pleasure and delight to persuade, move, instruct and even convert. This article explores the treatment of pleasure as a pedagogical tool, tracing this subject through the lens of sermons, letters, treatises and poetry written in Latin and Greek and drawing out both classical and biblical themes. It notes that, while most of the authors considered acknowledge pleasure as a potential problem in pedagogy, it is a problem they attempt to navigate. The article sketches out various approaches to the problem, noting especially the pleasure involved in reading, performing and expounding Scripture; pleasure used as a conscious educational strategy; and discussions which weigh up the dangers and gains of pleasure in education.

Abstract:
Background. Among many technical and tactical aspects of the behaviour of players, the goals are the most studied. The goal is the key to success for teams and its analysis in all matches of a major football tournament that allows multiple assessments. Methods. The aim of this study was to analyze the influence of the first goal on the final result of the football match, identifying the team that scored the first goal and the final result obtained by this team: winning, drawing or losing, and subsequently, to relate the obtained results to physical, technical, tactical and psychological performance. We analyzed all the matches of the last 5 editions of the 6 major football tournaments (national teams) in the world: FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro, CONMEBOL America Cup, AFC Asian Cup, CAF Africa Cup of Nations, and FIFA Confederations Cup (n = 996). The data were obtained from the database on the websites of the official federations, through overviews of the official matches. Quantitative data were collected in relation to the time that the goals were scored in the course of the matches. The statistical analysis of the results was conducted using the non parametric chi-square test. Results. According to the results, the team that scored the first goal in these last tournaments presented a high probability of winning (the average of 71.17% in the 6 tournaments). Conclusion. Thus, the high probability of victory in favour of the team that scores the first goal in the match of football is linked to the physical, technical, tactical and mainly the psychological aspects.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the issue of psychological security in the conditions of the New Ukrainian school. The etiology of the concepts of the main components of psychological security is studied and the aspects of psychological danger are considered. The NUS Concept is analyzed. It is noted that the interaction in the system «studentteacher – family» in early school age significantly affects the attitude of the child to himself and to others (parents, peers). Primary school students were diagnosed with emotional and psychological safety at school. Drawing projective techniques have a priority position in the study of the ideas of younger students about the psychological security of the educational environment, because in this period of cognitive activity is dominated by visual thinking and continue the intensive development of the emotional sphere. The main criteria and indicators for assessing the perceptions of younger students about the psychological safety of the educational environment are: the quality of the physical space in which the interaction takes place; student-teacher-family relationships present in the educational environment of threat. The author’s projective test «Vulcan» allows revealing with a high degree of reliability the ideas of younger students about the psychological safety of the educational environment. The expediency of using the proposed projective technique is justified by certain advantages: ease of execution, game form, high validity at the professional level of the researcher, the impossibility of falsifying the results, the possibility of disclosing the personality, intellectual level of the child. Prospects for further research will be to study the implementation of the concept of NUS in relation to secondary education. In particular, this applies to the transition of students from primary to secondary school, taking into account the risks of such a transition and the possibility of their prevention. The provisions of the New Ukrainian School emphasize the peculiarities of interaction in the system «student - teacher – family», which will help create conditions for the safe transition of students to secondary education.

Abstract:
The family and its important role in the development of the child is the inspiration for many types of research that have the intention to emphasize certain aspects of family life and the consequences of the family relations in the development of the children. The issue of this research is to find out if there is a connection between the conflict in the family, the divorce of the parents and self-concept in the children of early school age. The research is conducted on 30 children of single-parent families. The children of these single-parent families are children who have lived in families with conflicts and they have been direct or indirect participants in the conflict of the divorced parents. In the process of research, we applied projective techniques: Machover which consists of drawing a person’s figure, as well as a drawing a house and a tree-HTP (House-Tree-Person).The results are obtained through qualitative analysis and interpretation of each drawing particularly.During the investigation the relation between the variables, it is confirmed that there is a considerable connection between the conflict in the family, the divorce of the parents and the self-concept in children. It is confirmed, during the process that the children of divorced parents from negative self-concept. In children of single-parent families it is indicated that this group of children in relation to the psychological picture for themselves presented the following characteristics: lowered EGO, mechanisms for defense, feeling of insecurity, low self-confidence, aggressiveness, great virility, and caution.

Abstract:
Purpose Psychological research on fire has focussed primarily on its misuse in the form of arson and firesetting, which reflects a tradition in forensic psychology for focussing on risk and pathological behaviour. However, this is inconsistent with the strengths-based approach because it fails to account for positive aspects of fire and law-abiding/ healthy interactions with fire. This study aims to explore the psychology of non-criminalised forms of fire use. It is predicated on a novel, dimensional, conceptualisation of fire-related behaviour – the continuum of fire use (CoFU; Horsley, 2020, 2021). Design/methodology/approach Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 12 adults who use fire in law-abiding forms. Data were analysed using techniques informed by grounded theory. Steps were taken to ensure reliability and validity, including a Cohen’s Kappa calculation, which indicated an agreement level of 0.8 between two raters. Findings Four core themes were identified relating to the benefits of fire on psychological well-being, namely, immediate gratification; hope and empowerment; self-concept and emotional security. Research limitations/implications Drawing on findings from this study, a theoretical framework of the psychology of non-criminalised fire use is presented. This is a preliminary conceptualisation and more work is needed to address this under-researched topic. Practical implications The findings can inform the work of forensic practitioners. They highlight the importance of considering service users' positive interactions with fire, alongside maladaptive/ criminal use. This has implications for the assessment of fire setters, as well as rehabilitative approaches. Social implications It is argued in this paper that a society-wide approach is key to firesetting reduction. More specifically, findings can inform the development and refinement of early intervention programmes, which focus on supporting young people to develop a healthy relationship with fire. Originality/value To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this study is the first to explore the psychology of non-criminalised forms of fire use. It is predicated on a novel, dimensional, conceptualisation of fire-related behaviour – the continuum of fire use (CoFU; Horsley, 2020, 2021a, 2021b).

Abstract:
Abstract The contemporary individual is immersed in a reality characterized by a rapid sequence of stimuli and actions and he is often unable to fully live the present moment. Several authors in the field of psychology have discussed on the individual’s ability to live his own experience in the present moment, each highlighting some peculiar aspects and potential of this concept within their models. The major aim of the present article is to discuss these different psychological perspectives moving from more traditional models such ad Gestalt psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis to contemporary approaches such as Mindfulness-based Cognitive therapy (Kabat-Zinn) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (Hayes), and to highlight some points of convergence between such approaches and Chiara Lubich’s thought. In fact Lubich investigated the concept of the present moment from a spiritual perspective, drawing on the life experience inspired by the charisma of unity.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to provide a better understanding of what well-being means to children in the food context and to formulate recommendations about the way food retailers may take actions to promote children’s food well-being (FWB). Design/methodology/approach A qualitative study based on a child-centric perspective is conducted with 25 French children aged 6–11 years. The data collection and analysis use both verbal and graphic data methods including focus groups and drawings in order to help children express their feelings and thoughts. Findings The findings put forward that according to children, the concept of FWB relies on five dimensions: sensory taste, health, commensality, empowerment and altruistic behaviours. Their discourses suggest that food practices contributes to objective, hedonic, eudaemonic and social well-being on the short and long term. Practical implications Based on children’s intrinsic needs for pleasure and empowerment, our recommendations highlight how food retailers might rethink their own-label offering, retail environment and communication to take into account young consumers’ FWB. Originality/value Drawing upon the concept of FWB and positive psychology, the authors do not only examine children’s food representations through a nutritional lens, but enlarge the scope to show how physical, emotional, psychological and social factors, involved in food context, contribute to different aspects of well-being.
