The dynamic penetration test (DPT) and the Menard pressuremeter test (PMT) have been widely used in geotechnical survey of deep soils for megadam foundations in western China. The DPT measures are not well utilized due to the lack of correction factors and of empirical relationships for deep soils. This study investigates the relationships between the corrected DPT blow counts ( N 120 ′ ), pressuremeter modulus (EPMT), limit pressure (pL), deformation modulus (E0), and bearing capacity (fak) derived from the PMT results. Meanwhile, a nonlinear regression model is developed to predict the DPT correction factor (a) based on the raw DPT blow counts (N120) and the rod length (L) by integrating the available correction factors for shallow gravelly soils suggested by the code provisions and the deep soil data in this work. It is concluded that the proposed DPT correction factors match well with the code suggestions and the new compiled dataset, and the corrected DPT blow counts can be used to reasonably predict the engineering properties of deep sand and clay soils. Although the proposed correlations need to be tested among different soil types and regions, the results shed the light on in situ geotechnical tests and data utilization for deep and thick overburden.

Evidence suggests that optimism has a positive impact on health status. Attentional bias modification (ABM) may be beneficial for enhancing optimism, but its effective application requires a detailed investigation of the association between attentional bias and optimism. This study aimed to determine the association between attentional bias and optimism based on different task types. Eighty-four participants completed the attentional bias measures using the dot-probe task (DPT), emotional visual search task (EVST) paradigms, and psychological assessments. Optimism was assessed using the Life Orientation Test-Revised with subscales for optimism and pessimism. Pearson’s correlation coefficient and multivariate linear regression analysis were applied to investigate the association between optimism and attentional bias. Neither the attentional bias derived from DPT nor EVST was significantly correlated with optimism total score or subscales. Regression analysis also showed no association between attentional bias and optimism (DPT, β = 0.12; EVST, β = 0.09), optimism subscales (DPT, β = 0.09; EVST, β = 0.17), or pessimism subscales (DPT, β = −0.10; EVST, β = 0.02). Our findings showed no evidence that attentional biases derived from either the DPT or EVST measures are associated with optimism or pessimism. Further studies are needed to effectively adapt the ABM to enhance optimism.

Objective: The aim of the study was to evaluate the accuracy of the diagnostic Pap test (DPT) on three slides and punch biopsy and endocervical curettage (PB/ECC) compared with the final biopsy material in the detection of high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HSIL). Materials and methods: Patients treated with conization after previous DPT and PB/ECC were analyzed. The findings of the DPT and PB/ECC as well as of the endocervical brush cytology and ECC were compared with the final conus histology. Results: 150 patients were analyzed, and final histology verified 145 cases of HSIL and 3 cancers. The percentage of confirmed HSIL cytology was 97%, while for PB/ECC it was 79% with 30/145 false negative results. The correlation between Pap test and PB/ECC showed that the diagnostic accuracy of DPT is significantly higher (p < 0.0001). Endocervical brush cytology confirmed HSIL+ in the endocervical canal in 83% and ECC in 35% of cases (p < 0.0001). Conclusion: The DPT on three slides enables better detection of HSIL compared to PB/ECC, particularly for lesions localized in the endocervical canal sampled with a cytobrush. A high quality DPT could represent a surrogate for PB/ECC and open the possibility of direct access to therapeutic procedure.

This paper presents the hardware-in-the-loop simulation for dynamic performance test (HILS-DPT) of power electronic equipment replicas using a real-time hybrid simulator (RTHS). The authors developed the procedure of HILS-DPT, and as an actual case example, the results of HILS-DPT of Static VAR Compensator (SVC) replica using RTHS is presented. RTHS is a co-simulation tool that synthesizes real-time simulator (RTS) with transient stability program to perform real-time dynamic simulation of a large power system. As power electronics applications have been increasing, the electric utilities have performed HILS-DPT of the power electronics equipment to validate the performance and investigate interactions. Because inspection tests are limited in their ability to validate its impact on the power system during various contingencies, all power electronics equipment newly installed in the Korean power system should take HILS-DPT using large-scale RTS with replicas since 2018. Although large-scaled RTS offers an accuracy improvement, it requires lots of hardware resources, time, and effort to model and simulate the equipment and power systems. Therefore, the authors performed SVC HILS-DPT using RTHS, and the result of the first practical application of RTHS present feasibility comparing the result of HILS-DPT using large-scale RTS. The authors will discuss the test results and share lessons learned from the industrial experience of HILS-DPT using RTHS.

The immunizations that must be given to children include the Diphtheria Pertussis Tetatus-Hepatitis B-Hemophilus Influenza type B vaccine or better known as Pentabio DPT. The DTwP / HB / HiB vaccine is given to babies in 3 doses at 1 month intervals. This immunization caused a systemic reaction, one of which was a fever of 0.85% in the first 30 minutes and increased to 14.03% on the day after immunization. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L) in reducing the body temperature of feverish children after Pentabio DPT immunization. This type of research was quasi-experimental study, with pre and post test with control group design. The sample in this study were babies who received DPT immunization as many as 20 respondents. DPT Pentabio immunization was given a dose of 0.5 ml in the intervention group and the control group. The statistical test used was the T test. The results showed that there was a significant effect of shallots on in reducing the body temperature of feverish children after Pentabio DPT immunization, with a p-value of 0.000.

Imunisasi yang wajib diberikan kepada anak-anak diantaranya adalah vaksin Diphtheria Pertusis Tetatus-Hepatitis B-Hemophilus Influenza type B atau lebih dikenal dengan DPT Pentabio. Vaksin DTwP/HB/HiB diberikan kepada bayi sebanyak 3 dosis dengan interval 1 bulan. Imunisasi ini menimbulkan reaksi sistemik salah satunya berupa demam 0,85% pada 30 menit pertama dan meningkat menjadi 14,03% pada satu hari pasca imunisasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efektifitas bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L) terhadap penurunan suhu tubuh anak demam pasca imunisasi DPT Pentabio. Jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan pre and post test with control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah bayi yang mendapat imunisasi DPT sebanyak 20 orang responden. Pemberian imunisasi DPT PENTABIO Pentabio dosis 0,5 ml pada kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah Uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari bawang merah dalam menurunkan suhu tubuh anak demam pasca imunisasi DPT Pentabio, dengan p-value 0,000.

The Chinese Dynamic Penetration Test (DPT) was used following the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake to measure penetration resistances of gravels that liquefied and nearby gravels that did not. The test has many advantages, including simplicity, continuous data acquisition, and robust equipment that is easily transported by light vehicles and low cost. A probability formula, developed from logistic procedures, was proposed using the 47 compiled DPT data. The DPT could be a viable test for measurement of penetration resistance of gravels in other parts of the world beyond China.

Context.—Lupus anticoagulant (LA) is a heterogeneous group of antiphospholipid antibodies. Among others, diluted prothrombin time (dPT) is a sensitive screening test for LA; however, the interpretation of LA tests is difficult in patients treated with anticoagulants. The effect of different types of anticoagulants on the result of LA tests, particularly on dPT, has not been studied extensively. Objective.—To determine whether the direct thrombin inhibitors lepirudin and argatroban and the predominantly factor Xa inhibitors enoxaparin, danaparoid, and fondaparinux could interfere with LA screening based on dPT. Design.—Each drug was added to normal and LA-positive plasmas in clinically relevant concentrations. Each sample was tested for dPT. Samples with factor Xa inhibitors were investigated before and after addition of heparinase. Mixing and confirmatory tests for LA were not performed. Results.—In the presence of lepirudin or argatroban, dPT increased notably and the dPT ratio exceeded the cutoff value even at subtherapeutic concentrations resulting in false positivity. With increasing factor Xa inhibitor concentrations, a linear increase of dPT ratios and false-positive results were also demonstrated. Although heparinase could almost completely neutralize the anti-Xa effect of all investigated factor Xa inhibitors, dPT ratio returned to the basal level only in case of enoxaparin. Conclusions.—Here we provide evidence that both the direct thrombin and indirect factor Xa inhibitors influence dPT assay for LA, causing false positivity. This should be considered when interpreting LA results during anticoagulant therapy. However, dPT seems to be a reliable test for LA screening under enoxaparin therapy after neutralization by heparinase.

This research is a descriptive research with cross sectional design. Sample used were total population, which includes all 26 puskesmas within Sidoarjo. The variables were DPT vaccine storage, recording for DPT vaccines cold chain and quality of DPT vaccine cold chain. The result of this study showed that DPT vaccine storage was good (58%), recording for DPT vaccines cold chain were insufficient (77%), and quality of DPT vaccine cold chain in puskesmas was also good (62%). Spearman correlation test showed relationship between DPT vaccine storage and quality of DPT vaccine cold chain in Puskesmas was strong and positive (r = 0,561). For determination of compressive strength of bedding mortar used in historic masonries, a promising moderately-destructive technique is double punch test (DPT). DPT consists of loading prismatic samples of mortar (about 4×4×1 cm3) by means of two circular steel platens (typically 2 cm diameter) and then calculating mortar compressive strength as the ratio of the failure load to the cross section of the circular platens. In this study, the influence of mortar sample thickness and mortar sample capping on the reliability of results obtained by DPT was systematically investigated. The influence of sample thickness was assessed by comparing DPT results obtained for samples with 5, 10, 15 and 20 mm thickness with compressive strength determined by testing reference 4 cm-side cubes. Different mortars were considered (cement, lime-cement, natural hydraulic lime), in order to investigate a wide range of mortar mechanical characteristics. The influence of surface capping was evaluated on a lime-cement mortar by comparing compressive strength determined on reference cubes with strength obtained by DPT on proper samples, without capping and after capping with rubber, gypsum and cement. The results of the study indicate that sample thickness substantially influences mortar compressive strength determined by DPT, which may vary by up to three times depending on sample thickness. A good estimation of the actual mortar compressive strength was obtained when samples with thickness similar to the loading platens diameter were tested, which suggests that choosing the size of the loading platens for DPT based on the thickness of mortar joints under investigation may be an effective way for obtaining reliable estimations. As for the influence of surface capping, in those cases where no mortar sample regularization is possible, because of the poor quality of the mortar, the results of the study indicate that sample capping actually seems necessary in order to avoid significant underestimations of mortar compressive strength. Considering the higher practicality offered by gypsum with respect to rapid-setting cement for surface capping, the use of gypsum seems preferable.

Data from Tabir Lintas Community Health Center, immunization coverage of DPT-HB I/ Polio II is 98%, DPT-HB II/Polio III is 93%, DPT-Hb III/Polio IV is 94%, and advanced DPT-Hb immunization is 32%. 3 out of 10 babies have a high fever. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of giving aloe vera compresses and warm water compresses to decrease the body temperature of toddlers after DPT-HB immunization. The research design used was a quasiexperimental design with a two-group design, sample in this study was accidental sampling with a sample of 40 people, which was divided into 20 toddlers given aloe vera compress and 20 toddlers given warm water compresses, data collection with observation sheets with data analysis using the ttest. Based on the results obtained, the average decrease in body temperature of toddlers after being given an aloe vera compress was 0.64°C. Meanwhile, in warm water compresses, the average decrease in toddler body temperature after being given a water compress was 0.465 °C. The results of the Paired T-Test showed that there was an effect of aloe vera compress and warm water on the decrease in body temperature of toddlers after DPT-HB immunization. The results of the independent T-Test test with a p-value of 0.004 < α (0.05) means that there was a difference between an aloe vera compress and a warm water compress. Based on the results of the study, there was an effect of aloe vera compress and warm water on decreasing temperature, there was a difference between aloe vera compress and warm water compress with a mean different value of 0.25°C, meaning that aloe vera was more effective than warm water. Objective: In a cumulative perspective, the aim of this study is to perform Frequency Pattern Test (FPT), Duration Pattern Test (DPT) and Gap In Noise (GIN) Test in order to determine descriptive values of these tests to evaluate central auditory processing on the individuals’ with normal hearing. Material and Methods: A total of 52 participants, as of 28 women and 24 men, with normal hearing, within the age range of 20 to 55 were included in the study. Otoscopic examination, pure tone audiometry and FPT, DPT GIN Test which are central auditory processing tests, were performed on the participants who meet the criteria of the study and voluntarily agreed to participate in the study. Results: Descriptive values were obtained as an average of 78% in FPT, 92.11% in DPT, an average of 61.22% in GIN Test and an average of 6.34 ms in Gap Detection Threshold Conclusions: It is thought that the obtained descriptive values will contribute to the clinics and the literature. Dyadic power theory (DPT; Dunbar 2004) predicts that equal and unequal-power dyads will seek to persuade one another differently because they use different control attempts. This paper seeks to expand the theory’s definition of control attempts beyond dominance by examining convergence behavior, topic avoidance, aggression, deception, and affection or support. Participants answered a survey about the way they interact with an interpersonal partner who is lower in power, equal in power, or higher in power than themselves. Results reveal that, consistent with DPT, equal power partners were more likely than high or low power partners to use a control attempt that emphasized equilibrium, and were more likely to use verbal affection and social support. However, equal power partners were also more likely to use deception and they reported their partner was least likely to be deceptive compared to the other power groups. Low power partners were more likely, compared to equal or high power, to be motivated to submit to their partner, to use topic avoidance, and to experience psychological aggression from their partner. The type of relationship moderated several of these effects.

Background: Allergy to dental materials in prostheses and implants that leads to dental device dysfunction is a challenging problem. Objective: In this prospective study, we aimed to investigate the diagnostic role and impact of dental patch test (DPT) results on the outcome of proceeding dental procedures with the collaboration of our allergy clinic and dental clinics. Methods: A total of 382 adult patients with oral or systemic signs or symptoms due to the applied dental materials were included. A DPT with 31 items was administered. The clinical findings after dental restoration according to the test results were assessed in the patients. Results: The most common positivity detected in the DPT was due to metals, among which nickel (29.1%) was the leading cause. The frequency of self-reported allergic diseases and metal allergy was significantly higher in patients with at least one positive result in the DPT (p = 0.004 and p < 0.001, respectively). Clinical improvement after the removal of dental restoration was seen in 82% of the patients who had a positive DPT result, whereas this rate was 54% among paatients with negative DPT results (p < 0.001). The only factor that predicted improvement after restoration was the positivity in the DPT result (odds ratio 3.96 [95% confidence interval, 0.21‐7.09]; p < 0.001). Conclusion: Our study showed that a self-reported metal allergy was an important finding to predict allergic reactions to dental devices. Therefore, patients should be questioned for the presence of metal allergy‐related signs and symptoms before exposure to the dental materials to prevent possible allergic reactions. Furthermore, DPT results are valuable to guide dental procedures in real life.

The coverage of basic DPT immunization has decided 90% by government In fact, the coverage of basic DPT immunization in Pamolaan does not complete the target yet. The first DPT is around 85.8%, the second DPT is 71%, and the last DPT is 67.9%. Family’s support and role is one of factor that influences the completeness of basic DPT immunization. But until now, the correlation between family’s support and role with completeness of the basic DPT immunization for children doesn’t explain yet. This study was aimed to identify the correlation between family’s support and role with completeness of the basic DPT immunization.
Design used in this study was cross sectional. The populations of the study were mother who has children at the age of six months to twelve months. Sample, enrolled using purposive sampling and total sample was fifty respondents who had been taken according to inclusion criteria. Independent variable was family’s support and role in completing basic DPT immunization. The dependent variable was the completeness of basic DPT immunization for children. Data were collected using Sperman and Chi square statistical test with significance level p < 0.05.
Results showed that there is correlation between family’s support with completeness of the basic DPT immunization with correlation significant (p=0.045) and correlation coefficient (r=0.285). Then, there is correlation between family’s role with completeness of the basic DPT immunization with correlation significant (p=0.001) and contingency coefficient (C=0.474).
It can be concluded that there are correlation between family’s support and role by showing a moderate correlation. So, family’s support and role can become reinforcing factor for mother to give DPT immunization for children but not the dominant factor.

The present work focuses on the experimental multi-scale characterization of fracture of an AISI 4135 steel by using the Disk Pressure Test (DPT). In order to precise the specific features of hydrogen embrittlement, comparison was made between disks burst under helium and hydrogen gas. SEM - EBSD analysis of disks samples before and after the test allowed to analyze and to compare the main microstructural mechanisms of the failure process. The location of the main crack initiation was consistent with Finite Element (FE) simulations of the DPT.

DPT immunization is the basic immunization used to prevent diphtheria pertussis and tetanus. According to data from the Bandar Lampung City Health Office from 30 health centers in Bandar Lampung, the Korpri Puskesmas in Sukarame District is the health center with the lowest complete basic immunization coverage, which is 60.8% in 2015. The low immunization coverage rate is inseparable from health behavior and parental knowledge about DPT immunization. Purpose of this study to determine the relationship between the level of mother's knowledge about DPT immunization in infants with the prevention behavior of diphtheria pertussis and tetanus at the Korpri Puskesmas Bandar Lampung in 2020. This study used an observational and analytic type of study with a cross sectional approach and a questionnaire interview method. The sample used in this study were mothers who had babies in the work area of the Korpri Bandar Lampung Community Health Center in 2020. Data analysis used Chi-Square. The result It is known that 7 mothers (77.8%) have bad knowledge about DPT immunization and bad behavior towards DPT disease prevention, as many as 2 mothers (22.2%) have bad knowledge about DPT immunization and good behavior towards DPT disease prevention. A total of 28 mothers (33.3%) had good knowledge about DPT immunization and bad behavior towards DPT disease prevention, as many as 56 mothers (66.7%) had good knowledge about DPT immunization and good behavior towards DPT disease prevention. Chi-square test results obtained p-value = 0.024 (p ≤ 0.05), which means that there is a relationship between the level of maternal knowledge and the prevention behavior of diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus. There is a significant relationship between the level of maternal knowledge about DPT immunization in infants with the prevention behavior of diphtheria pertussis and tetanus at the Korpri Puskesmas Bandar Lampung in 2020 with a p-value = 0.024 (p ≤ 0.05).

Drama pedagogy training (DPT) is a drama-based-pedagogy focused on socio-emotional-learning (SEL) development, over academic or artistic. This study aims to see if DPT promotes theory of mind (ToM) and collaborative behavior in 126 French children aged 9-10 years old, randomly assigned to an experimental group (DPT), either a control group for 6 weeks. Post-tests showed large effects of training on ToM, F(1, 124) = 24.36, p < .001, η² =.16, and collaborative behavior, F(1, 124) = 29.8, p < .001, η² = .19. T-test showed significant differences on ToM (t = -4.94, p < .001) and collaborative behavior (t = -5.46, p < .001), higher for DPT. Effects of type of school and grade are discussed. Results confirm the hypotheses.

Diphtheria is an acute disease that attacks the airways and causes deaths. The risk factors for diphtheria are low Diphtheria-Pertussis-Tetanus (DPT) immunization coverage and an unhealthy home environment. One effort to control diphtheria is by providing information in the form of the patient's location that makes it easier to determine the target group of people intervened. The city of Surabaya experienced an increase of 50 diphtheria cases from 2017 to 2018. This study aimed to map and analyze diphtheria cases based on DPT immunization and healthy homes from 2017 to 2018 in the city of Surabaya. This study was classified descriptive analytic and used an ecological design. This study used the Pearson's correlation coefficient statistical test to analyze secondary data from the Surabaya City’s Health Profile of 2017 to 2018. This study employed the Health Mapper 4.3.0.0 application and SPSS software version 23. The study variables were diphtheria cases, DPT immunization coverage, and the percentage of healthy homes in 2017 and 2018 in Surabaya. The results of the statistical test indicated that there was a moderate relationship between DPT basic immunization coupon with the number of diphtheria cases in 2018 (p = 0.007; OR = 0.471); while the percentage of healthy homes and the number of diphtheria cases in 2018 showed a strong correlation (p = 0.002; OR = 0.544). The city experienced an increase in the number of diphtheria cases from 2017 to 2018, as well as the rise in DPT immunization coverage and the percentage of healthy homes, which tended to be stagnant. DPT immunization coverage and the percentage of healthy homes based on the 2018 data were related to the number of diphtheria cases in Surabaya. Counseling for the people in the city should be conducted to ensure that their children get DPT immunization and maintain environment cleanliness for a healthy home.

Purpose The Pitch Patterns Test (PPT) and the Duration Patterns Test (DPT) are clinical auditory processing tests that evaluate temporal patterning skills based on pitch (PPT) or duration (DPT) aspects of sound. Although temporal patterning tests are categorized under the temporal processing domain, successful performance on the PPT also relies on accurate pitch discrimination. However, the relationship between pitch discrimination ability and temporal patterning skills has not been thoroughly evaluated. This study examined the contribution of pitch discrimination ability to performance on temporal patterning in children through the use of a pitch discrimination task and the PPT. The DPT was also given as a control measure to assess temporal patterning with no pitch component. Method Thirty-two typically developing elementary school–age children (6;11–11;3 [years;months]) with normal hearing were given a series of three counterbalanced tasks: an adaptive psychophysical pitch discrimination task (difference limen for frequency [DLF]), the PPT, and the DPT. Results Correlational analysis revealed moderate correlations between DLF and PPT scores. After accounting for age, results of a linear regression analysis suggested that pitch discrimination accounts for a significant amount of variance in performance on the PPT. No significant correlation was found between DLF and DPT scores, supporting the hypothesis that the pitch task had no significant temporal patterning component contributing to the overall score. Discussion These findings indicate that pitch discrimination contributes significantly to performance on the PPT, but not the DPT, in a typically developing pediatric population. This is an important clinical consideration in both assessment and utilization of targeted therapy techniques for different clinical populations.

Method: Research design was Pre-Experimental design using Pre - Post Test approach. Research sample was 19 mothers with infants aged 3-5 months at Pustu slorok District of Garum at June 25th until June 27th,2012, its choosed with total sampling. Data collected by questionaire. Analysis using Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test, with ≤0.05 significant level. Result: The results showed that there was an effect of health promotion to the mother’s attitudes in handling in febrile post DPT , with p value of 0.046. Discussion: Based on the results of the research,it was expected for the respondents to be more active in improving knowledge by emphasizing on information about febrile post DPT immunization either electronic nor mass media so respondents could improve the attitude in handling the febrile post DPT and minimize the occurrence of Kipi ( Genesis Infection Post Immunization ).

Background:CD4+/CD8+ double-positive T (dpT) cells are a set of pathologic T cells, representing about 1% of peripheral blood T cells and increasing with age in healthy individuals. Patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) more frequently have expanded dpT cells compared to age-matched controls, up to a frequency of 8% [1]. However, whether dpT cell expansion harbors clinical significance in RA is not known.Objectives:The goal of the study was to assess possible associations of DPT expansion with clinical features of patients with RA.Methods:In this cross-sectional study, dpT cells were measured in RA patients (n=70) via fluorescence-activated flow cytometry. Clinical data including age, sex, disease duration, treatment history, disease activity parameters, and radiographic structural damage was collected. Radiographs of hands and feet were used to determine the modified Sharp/van der Heijde (SvdH) score. Expansion of dpT cells was defined as a frequency of >2% of the total T cell pool, based on reference ranges determined in a large cohort of healthy individuals [2]. Mann-Whitney-U test was used to compare groups and X2 test was used for contingency tables. Statistical analyses were conducted using GraphPad Prism v8 (GraphPad Software, San Diego, USA).Results:DpT cells were expanded in more than a quarter of our cohort (n=19, 27.1%). Patients with expanded dpT cells more often used biologics or targeted synthetic DMARDs than patients with low dpT cells (68.4% vs. 38%, p=0.02). Radiographic damage was also significantly worse in patients with DPT expansion, as shown in their higher SvdH score (median 24.5 vs. 6, p=0.008) and its component scores for erosion (median 19 vs. 0, p=0.004) and joint space narrowing (median 8 vs. 2, p=0.017) (figure 1A). There was no difference regarding sex, age, disease duration, seropositivity and disease activity between the groups (figure 1B).Conclusion:DpT cell expansion is associated with higher scores of radiographic structural damage despite more frequent use of highly effective therapeutics. Background: Side effects that may often occur after immunization include fever in infants after to combined Diptheri Pertusis Tetanus/Hepatitis B (DPT/HB) vaccine. Fever in infants or toddlers is a case that cannot be ignored because it can interfere with the comfort and development of infants and toddlers.
Objectives: This research aims to analyze the effects of baby massage in lowering body temperature among babies given combined DPT/HB immunization.
Material and Methods: It is a quasi-experiment using one intervention group. The population and sample are babies aged 2-5 months visiting the Work Area of Puskesmas Lombok Barat in Indonesia that meet inclusion criteria. Baby massage was administered in the morning and in the afternoon for 5 days, with the first 2 days prior to combined DPT/HB immunization 1, the second 1 day at the time of immunization, and the last 2 days after immunization. The same treatment was also carried out for combined DPT/HB immunization 2. Prior and after massage, baby temperatures were measured at the axila using a digital thermometer, with the results put in an observation sheet (graph). Body temperature measurement was observed for 2 months. Data gathered were then tested using non-parametric test (Wilcoxon).
Results: there is reduction in body temperature among babies given combined DPT/HB immunization 1 and combined DPT/HB immunization 2. Babies given combined DPT/HB immunization 1 had average body temperature of 0,2±0.18 °C in the morning and 0,21±0.25 °C in the afternoon. Meanwhile, babies given combined DPT/HB immunization 2 had average body temperature of 0,26±0.19 °C in the morning and 0,2±0.23 °C in the afternoon. Effect of massage in reducing body temperature among babies given combined DPT/HB immunization 1 is at (p<0.005) and at (p<0.005) for combined DPT/HB immunization 2.
Conclusion: massage can be performed before or after babies are immunized with combined DPT/HB to lower their body temperature.

A study on early immunization with DPT-measles vaccine at the age of 4 months, was earned out during 1990 - 1991 on 348 babies at the Health Centre of Surabaya regency. Three hundred and forty eight babies were served as control. The results of the study reported here were : (a) By giving a mixture of DPT and measles at an early age (4 months of age) the coverage of measles immunization could be increased to 21% - 27%. (b) 1'wenty two percents of measles cases could be prevented. (c) The geometric mean titer using hemagglutination inhibition test of the babies who got a mixture DP7~measles vaccination at an early age was significantly higher than that of the GMT HI test of babies who got measles vaccination at the age of 9 months ( z test, p <0, 05 ) .
The result of analysis of data showed that an early immunization program using a mixture of DPT-measles could protect babies under 9 months and thus prevent them from measles infection.

Background: After antibiotics, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) are one of the leading drug classes responsible for hypersensitivity reactions in children. The drug provocation test (DPT) is the criterion standard for diagnosis. Objective: The aim of the present study was to determine the negative predictive values (NPV) of DPTs with NSAIDs in pediatric patients and to evaluate their attitudes toward NSAID use after a negative DPT result. Methods: The study included all patients who had undergone DPTs between January 1, 2014, and December 31, 2018, in our pediatric allergy clinic for suspected NSAID hypersensitivity reaction and who had a negative result for the suspected agent. Those patients who could be contacted were asked whether the patient had used the same drug again since the DPT and, if so, whether he or she had a reaction. Patients who were reported to have had a reaction were invited to the clinic for reevaluation. Based on the findings from this retesting, the NPVs of the DPTs with NSAIDs were calculated. Results: During the 5-year study period, DPT results were negative for 230 suspected agents in 215 patients. Of these, 143 patients (66.5%) were able to be contacted. A total of 108 patients (75.5%) had used the tested NSAIDs at least once after the provocation test, and five patients (4.6%) reported a reaction on reexposure. Four of these patients declined reevaluation, one patient exhibited no reaction in a second DPT. Therefore, the NPV was calculated as 96.3% (94.3% for ibuprofen, and 100% for paracetamol). Conclusion: The NPVs of DPTs with NSAIDs, especially of paracetamol DPT, is high in children. This finding should reassure the parents of patients who may require NSAID therapy again.

Based on the health profile of Indonesia in 2016, the number of cases of diphtheria in 2016 CFR (Case Fatality Rate) diphtheria, namely by 5.8%. Of all cases of diphtheria, amounting to 51% of them do not get vaccinated. Known from the annual report of Padang City Health Department 2017 Immunization coverage DPT-HB-Hib lows are in Lubuk Buaya Public Health Center (70.26%) of the 95% targets. The aim of research to determine the relationship level of knowledge and attitude about AEFI with Mother Compliance in giving immunization of DPT-HB-Hib in Lubuk Buaya Public Health Center.
This research method is analytical survey with cross sectional study, data collection was done on January 22-March 12, 2019 in Lubuk Buaya Public Health Center. The population was mothers with babies aged 3-9 months, using a sampling technique purposive sampling with a sample of 66 respondents. Collecting data using questionnaires. Data were analyzed using a computerized with chi-square test.
Results of univariate analysis obtained 60.6% of mothers do not obey the immunization of DPT-HB-Hib, 51.5% of mothers good knowledge, 56.1% of women have a negative attitude and 87.9% of infants with AEFI DPT-HB-Hib fever. The results of the bivariate analysis contained levels of knowledge about AEFI relationship with Compliance mother in immunization of DPT-HB-Hib (p = 0.002) and there is a relationship with Compliance AEFI Attitudes about Women in Giving Immunization DPT-HB-Hib (p = 0.039).
It was concluded that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes about AEFI maternal immunization compliance in providing the DPT-HB-Hib. For that is expected to increase outreach health workers about the DPT-HB-Hib and AEFI in order to minimize the perception and poor view of the DPT-HB-Hib and AEFI.

As there are no commercially available acoustic telemetry devices for quantifying the swimming activity and activity-related metabolic expenditures of a wide range of marine species, we (i) examined the suitability of three methods (electromyography; sonomicrometry; and tail differential pressure tags (DPT)) for measuring the swimming speed of Atlantic cod ( Gadus morhua ), and indirectly, metabolic rate (MO2) and (ii) measured the activity pattern of free-swimming cod carrying the DPT. All three methods yielded significant relationships with swim speed during a critical swimming speed (Ucrit) test. However, only the DPT was able to discern between swimming speed differences of 0.1 body lengths (BL)·s–1 and provide a strong relationship with MO2. Further, we found that free-swimming cod fitted with the DPT swam at an average speed of 0.33 BL·s–1, the speed previously reported to result in minimal cost of transport for this species. While the DPT has considerable potential for assessing the bioenergetics of marine fishes, the swimming economy of tagged Atlantic cod was lower above 0.4 BL·s–1 as compared with untagged fish, and Ucrit was reduced by 25%. These latter effects are likely related to the tag’s present size (39 g) and design.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of varying scanning parameters of DPT and LC on diagnostic performance and quality of the images. Materials and Methods: Clinical evaluations of image quality were performed using an adult human skull with permanent dentition. Dental panoramic tomogram (DPT) and lateral cephalogram (LC) images were obtained using two different radiographic machines Instrumentarium 300OP taken at Sungai Buloh (SB) and Sirona Orthophos 3D taken at Puncak Perdana (PP) by varying tube voltages. Two orthodontic residents assessed images based on overall quality using a five-point rating scale and diagnostic performance by detection of anatomical landmarks. The correlations between radiation doses and diagnostic value of the images were analyzed using Pearson’s Correlation Test. Univariate analysis was calculated for the evaluation for image quality. Intra-class Correlation Coefficient (ICC) was used to test for intra-rater and inter-rater reliability. Results: Both modalities taken at both centers showed negative correlation between dosage and detection of anatomical landmarks except for LC SB. All images were rated at least with median of 3= more than adequately presented regardless of the radiation dosage except for DPT PP (median 5= inadequately presented). Conclusion: Lower dosage parameters should be used when taking DPT and LC as images appeared darker, lower in quality and less anatomical landmarks can be detected at higher scanning parameter.

Background. Some patients may have psychosomatic complaints due to their previous experiences during the drug hypersensitivity reaction. Worry about being hurt due to an administered drug is termed nocebo effect, which is the opposite of the placebo effect. In our study, we investigated the effect of distraction on symptoms during drug provocation test.Methods. Our study included 112 patients who underwent DPTs for alternative purposes in our clinic. Previous hypersensitivity reactions of all the patients had objective signs. Patients were divided into two groups for the DPT. Sixty-three patients were kept busy during the test, performing tasks such as filling questionnaires, arranging files in alphabetical and numerical order, and doing archiving (Group 1). Forty-nine patients did not perform any tasks during the test (Group 2). Reactions that occurred during the test were recorded. Results. During the DPT, 5 patients in Group 1 (5/63, 7.9%) and 17 patients in Group 2 (17/49, 34.7%), i.e. a total of 22 patients (22/112, 19.6%), had a reaction. There was a statistically significant difference between Group 1 and Group 2 according to the frequency of the reaction development.Conclusions. Patient psychosomatic complaints during DPTs are proportional to their association with previous allergic reactions. In order to prevent such reactions, it may be beneficial to keep the patients busy with an activity in order to distract them during the test.

The crucial task of the diagnosis of an existing masonry structure is to assess the current values of the mechanical parameters of the materials from which the structure was erected—usually bricks and mortar. The article presents the results of minor-destructive tests carried out on bed joints of three-brick-masonry prisms prepared in the laboratory. Three types of mortars used in the masonry were tested, which differ by the type and amount of binder. In order to determine mortar compression strength, three modern diagnostic methods were used: double punch test (DPT), standard penetrometric test (PT) and torque penetrometric test (TPT). Tests were carried out after 4, 12 and 90 weeks. The mortar strength determined in each of these tests was compared with the mortar reference strength determined on the beam specimen according to the methodology given in EN 1015-11. The results of the conducted tests confirmed the high usefulness of all three diagnostic methods. However, limitations in the application of the PT test were noticed—only lime mortars and weak cement–lime mortars can be tested with this method. In the case of mortars with an increased amount of cement binder, the impact energy is too low to estimate the compressive strength of the mortar in the brick wall joint. Technical limitations in the use of TPT and DPT tests were also indicated—weak lime mortars with low cohesion do not allow for obtaining reliable results. It was shown that DPT results strongly depend on two factors, specimen slenderness and mortar strength. Due to this fact, simple non-parameter conversion from mortar compressive strength according to the DPT test into mortar reference strength may lead to significant overestimation. As the results show, in newly built masonry, proper selection of diagnostic method is crucial due to the strong dependence of mortar curing dynamics on its location in the joint. This paper helps to match diagnostic techniques with the condition and type of mortar in the existing structure.

<b><i>Background:</i></b> Intradermal testing with delayed reading (IDTdr), used routinely in many centers, may identify delayed reactions to penicillins. However, few studies have compared the results of IDTdr with drug provocation test (DPT). The aim of this study was to examine the proportion of provocation-positive patients testing positive on IDTdr. <b><i>Methods:</i></b> Fifty-seven patients with a positive DPT occurring >2 h after intake of penicillin V, dicloxacillin, pivampicillin, or amoxicillin had an IDTdr with penicillin G, amoxicillin, ampicillin, and dicloxacillin. A control group included 18 patients with negative DPTs with the suspected penicillin. <b><i>Results:</i></b> In total 25% (<i>n</i> = 14) of provocation-positive patients tested positive on IDTdr. Among patients with positive IDTdr, 9/14 (64%) versus 11/43 (26%) in the IDTdr negative group (<i>p</i> < 0.05) had required oral steroids to treat skin reactions following DPT. No other differences between IDTdr positive and negative groups were found. No controls had a positive IDTdr. <b><i>Conclusion:</i></b> Investigating with IDTdr would have identified 25% of patients with a DPT-verified allergy with delayed reactions. It is difficult to target subgroups who will test positive on IDTdr. There were more patients who tested positive on IDT who had received oral steroids after DPT, and this may be an indication that skin reaction severity plays a role in skin testing diagnostics. Further potential predictors for positivity of IDTdr, such as duration of skin symptoms, should be assessed in large studies in order to optimize the investigations of nonimmediate drug allergic reactions.

Background Each year, over 2 million children die of pneumonia, it means that 1 in 5 people in the world under five die of pneumonia and almost all (99.9%) deaths from pneumonia occur in developing countries (least developed). Order to determine the relationship of sex and DPT immunization status with the incidence of pneumonia in children under five (ages 1-59 months) at Tanjung Baru sub-district Puskesmas UPTD East Balfour. Method This research use analytical survay with cross sectional approach. The study population was all children under five who seek treatment at the health center UPTD Tanjung Baru during the study, with a sample of 73 people. Data analysis using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using distribution table and Chi-Square statistical test, with 95% confidence degree. Results univariate analysis, of 73 respondents obtained 26% of respondents who suffered from pneumonia and 74% who do not suffer from pneumonia, 28.8% of respondents with male sex and 71.2% of respondents with female sex, 12.3% Respondents with incomplete DPT immunization status and 87.7% of respondents with complete DPT immunization status. The bivariate analysis results indicate no relationship sex with pneumonia (p value 0.003) and there was a DPT immunization status relationship with the incidence of pneumonia (p value 0.008). Aim: To assess the clinical performance of (DPT) students in Lahore by using assessment of physical therapist practice questionnaire (APP). Methodology: A descriptive cross sectional survey was conducted by using simple random sampling technique. Total 91 students of final year DPT among Lahore were selected for this study. 60% of the students from each college were enrolled. The data was collected by using the standardized questionnaire named assessment of physical therapy questionnaire (APP). Whole information was kept confidential. The data was analyzed by SPSS 23. Results: Results showed that global rating score at APP questionnaire was 62.4% (57 out of 91) reflecting overall good performance during the clinical rotation, 18.68% (17 out of 91) students present satisfactory results ranges, 14.29% (13 out of 91) present acceptable performance and 4.40 % ( 4 out of 91) students showed inappreciable performance. There mean age of 91 students were 21.25 with standard deviation 0.9236. The Pearson chi square test p=0.948, p <0.005. It reveals that there is no significant variation between gender and overall performance of students during clinical rotation Conclusion: This study concluded that maximum final year DPT students showed good performance during clinical practice, indicated that curriculum for DPT students is good enough to make student professionally competent. This study aims to determine the most effective dose in reducing fever in white rats induced by DPT-HB vaccine. The research method is an experimental laboratory using the method without heating for the manufacture of syrup. The results of initial temperature measurements in all treatment groups of white rats which is the normal temperature of the test animals before the DPT-HB vaccine is obtained ranged between 35.10C-37.10C. after 2 hours of DPT-HB vaccine injection, the body temperature of the white rats was measured again and the results obtained were 36,930C-38,430C. an increase in body temperature after 2 hours of injecting this vaccine compared to the results of measuring body temperature before the vaccine is injected is a sign that the test animal has experienced a fever. The negative control group which was given syrup without extract orally, showed the body temperature of the test animals had decreased as the temperature after injecting the vaccine. On the administration of alvocate leaf flavonoid syrup, the dose ¼ showed a decrease of 0.40C. For the administration of dosage flavonoid syrup extract dosage 1, it showed that the body temperature of the test animals had a temperature drop of 1,330C. And administration of Alvocado leaf flavonoid syrup extract dose 2, showed that the body temperature of the test animals had a temperature drop of 0.6 . While the administration of Alvocado leaf flavonoid extract syrup dose 3, showed that the body temperature of the test animals experienced a temperature increase of -0.2 . From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the most effective dose of antipyretic syrup of alvocado leaf flavonoid extract is dose 1.

Introduction: Safety monitoring of vaccines used in routine programmes on immunization is important in all settings. There is a lot of debate in the country about the relevance of the pentavalent vaccine in general and the Hib component in particular, in view of reports of deaths in children following immunization. This study was conducted to evaluate the incidence and profile of AEFI in children receiving pentavalent vaccine. Methods: A cohort study was conducted between May to Oct 2012, in a tertiary care hospital, Pune. Exposed groups received pentavalent vaccine, while the control received DPT or DPT + Hep B. Both the groups were followed up telephonically after 24 hr, 48 hr, 72 hr and 7 days following vaccination. 175 children in both groups were studied. Convenient sampling was done recruiting consecutive vaccinees till the sample size was achieved. Frequency, percentage, mean difference (T test) and chi square test was used to find associationResults: 100 % children were institutional delivery. In controls, 80 % received DPT and Hep B, rest received only DPT. Fever was present in 76.2 % among exposed and 26.7% among non-exposed. Presence of fever after 1 day following immunization was significantly associated with exposed group (P=0.003). In 19 % exposed group fever continued for 2nd day. Other side effects included swelling (4.8 %) and reduced appetite (4.8 %) among exposed.Conclusion: Pentavalent vaccine does not increase the probability of deaths among the vaccines vis-a-vis nor receivers. The profile of AEFI among both the groups, except fever, is similar as far as frequency and severity is concerned.

Abstract Introduction Accurate clinical differentiation of deep partial-thickness (DPT) and full-thickness (FT) wounds is essential in justifying appropriate treatments for heterogeneous burns. Only recently has non-invasive burn depth imaging been ground-truthed with tissue punch biopsies; an endeavor that will no doubt improve AI imaging algorithms in the near future. Prior literature supports unique apoptotic and necrotic properties of DPT and FT wounds, suggesting a use for not only standard stains (H&E), but apoptotic marker staining in assisting clinical diagnosis of burn depth, progression and/or conversion. Methods The aim of this study was to evaluate the presence of apoptotic cells in DPT and FT samples previously diagnosed by a burn biopsy algorithm (BBA-V2) for burn depth and severity by expert review of H&E-stained slides. Eight paired biopsies were collected from DPT and FT wounds in four patients within 72 hours of thermal injury and were immunofluorescently labeled for apoptosis markers by detection of deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) and cleaved caspase-3 (CC-3) staining. Fluorescence intensity in dermal appendages within images was used to quantify signal at 40x magnification for CC-3. % positive TUNEL cells were graded by an investigator blinded to the burn severity. A higher grade indicated higher % positivity. TUNEL grading was evaluated by Chi square test. CC-3 intensity was evaluated by Student’s t-test. Results Across all four patients, FT burns had higher levels of CC-3 in dermal appendages compared to DPT burns (Cy3:DAPI ratios: 1.53 ± 0.28 vs. 0.75 ± 0.13; p=0.1074). Within each patient, all FT biopsy sites had significantly higher levels of CC-3 versus DPT biopsy sites (p< 0.05)(Table). DPT burns had a greater proportion of patients with increasing grades of TUNEL positive cells (DPT: Grade 1: 16%, Grade 2: 36%, Grade 3: 48%; FT: Grade 1: 42.3%, Grade 2: 23.1%, Grade 3: 34.6%, p=0.1178). Conclusions CC-3 and TUNEL levels within dermal appendages align with burn depth classification by H&E staining, wherein appendages graded as necrotic had higher levels of CC-3 and lower levels of TUNEL. Therefore, CC-3 and TUNEL are potential secondary histological markers for burn depth. Further analysis of isolated, individual dermal appendages is underway to identify what additional information this secondary marker may add to the diagnosis of burn depth. Applicability of Research to Practice For the first time there is access to a large tissue repository of biopsies from burn wounds. Although staining from these samples has been used to build diagnosis algorithms with success, much more can be learned from the cellular pathophysiology when secondary analyses are performed. These assays may help us understand the processes of burn conversion.

Introduction: Diphtheria is an acute disease that is transmitted through air, saliva, and direct contact with patients. In the Community Lead Total Sanitation (CLTS) targets, air quality in the house is an indicator leading to diphtheria incidence as its bacteria can spread through the air. Efforts can be made to overcome diphtheria by providing DPT-HB-HiB3 immunization to increase body immunity and enforcing the CLTS program to improve air quality. Meanwhile, East Java experienced a decrease in CLTS and DPT-HB-HiB3 coverage in 2020. This study aimed to map the distribution of the disease and describe the correlation between diphtheria and its factors. Methods: This study evaluated diphtheria incidence in 38 regencies/cities in East Java. It used the Spearman correlation test to analyze secondary data from the Health Profile of East Java in 2018-2020. Data processing was done using Health Mapper and SPSS. Results and Discussion: No correlation was found between CLTS coverage and the incidence of diphtheria in 2018 (p = 0.207; OR = 0.201) while there was a correlation between DPT-HB-HiB3 immunization coverage and the incidence of diphtheria in 2018 (p = 0.006 ; OR = 0.441). Conclusion: CLTS coverage was not associated with the incidence of diphtheria in the province rather DPT-HB-HiB3 immunization coverage was. Education for public about the importance of DPT-HB-HiB3 immunization is required and maintaining a clean environment to prevent transmission of diphtheria.

The most important Pusekesmas Program is the Maternal and Child Health (KIA) Program. Basic immunization in the form of DPT immunization is one of the programs carried out by the Puskesmas in the Maternal and Child Health (KIA) Program. Indonesia is one of the countries with a large number of children who do not get complete immunization. Data on complete basic immunization coverage at Bandar Jaya Health Center is 93,5 %, while the target for complete basic immunization coverage is 95 %. There is a decrease in data on DPT Imunization visits for toddlers at the Bandar Jaya Health Center, Lahat Regency in 2020. Research purposes : to determine the Analysis of Maternal Compliance (Knowledge, Education, Profession, Attitude, and Family Support) in providing DPT Immunization to Toddlers in the work area of the Bandar Jaya District Health Center Lahat in 2021. The research method : uses a cross sectional study design, this research was conducted from June 30 to July 23, 2021 with a purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study were mother who visited to provide DPT Immunization to their toddlers, totalling 65 people. Data were taken by questionnaire and anlyzed by Univariate Analysis, Bivariate by Chi-square test and Multivariate Analysis by Multiple Logistic Regression. The results showed that there was a relationship between mothers education and P-value (0,05). And there is no relationshio between mother’s knowledge and her P-value (0,19), there is no relationship between mother’s work and her P-value (0,15), there is no relationship between mother’s attitude and her P-value (0,56) and there is no relationship on support mother;s family with his P-value (0,12). The dominant variable is education with a ? value (1,78) and P-value (0,01). In conclusion, there is a relationship between mother’s education and compliance with DPT immunization in toddlers and there is no relationship between knowledge, work, attitudes and family support with adherence to DPT immunization on toddlers. It is recommended for the Bandar Jaya Public Health Center to conduct socialization and counseling both directly and by distributing leaflets about the importance of DPT Immunization for toddlers so that mothers of toddlers can obtain optimal knowledge about DPT Immunization.

Magnetic field effects provide a convenient and specific probe of singlet exciton fission within optoelectronic devices. Here, we demonstrate that this tool may also be applied to screen potential fission material candidates in solution. We characterize the phenomenon in diphenyl tetracene (DPT), which shows strong fluorescence modulation and the expected field dependence in its transient decay as a function of concentration. Solution measurements may also be used to test for the presence of an intermediate charge transfer state, but we observe no changes to the field dependence of DPT singlet exciton fission in toluene relative to chloroform.

Objective: To analyze the learning styles of undergraduate medical, dental and DPT (Department of physical therapy) students using the VARK questionnaire. Study Design and Setting: This cross sectional questionnaire based clinical study was conducted on 278 undergraduate students at Bahria University of Medical and Dental College in Karachi. Methodology: 150 medical, 100 dental and 28 DPT students were asked to complete VARK (Visual, Auditory, Read-write and Kinesthetic) questionnaire and their learning preferences were studied. Percentages were formulated and outcomes of each group were paralleled to conclude the result. The data was assessed using SPSS software, version 23. Statistical associations among MBBS, BDS and DPT students and gender preferences were made using chi square analysis and comparison between academic years was made with Fisher’s exact test. P<0.05 was considered significant. Results: Our result showed that 76.3% preferred unimodal style followed by bimodal (18.3%) and trimodal (5.4%). Kinesthetic (40%) was the most preferred method followed by aural (36%). There was no preferential shift with gender or academic year variation. Conclusion: According to our study, most of the undergraduate medical, dental and DPT students prefer unimodal method of learning despite of educational, gender and academic variation in the sample. None of the students preferred the quadmodal learning style. Kinesthetic was the most preferred unimodal preference.

Objectives: The motivational behavior of self-efficacy for learning and performance was correlated with academic success in Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students taking clinical anatomy, the first foundational course in the program. Students’ motivation strategies have been reported to be important factors in academic success, however, these strategies have not been investigated in DPT students. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine if course grade in clinical anatomy was correlated with the motivation subscales of the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ). Materials and Methods: The MSLQ was administered to thirty-three first-year DPT students who consented to participate in the study. Correlation (Pearson r zero order) between the subscales and final course grade in clinical anatomy were determined. Results: Self-efficacy for learning and performance was correlated with course grade (r(31) = .44, p < .05), while intrinsic and extrinsic goal orientation, task value, control of learning beliefs, and test anxiety, were poorly correlated. Conclusions: The results of the current study, indicating that self-efficacy for learning and performance is correlated with academic success, could be utilized in DPT programs to broaden admission processes, and aid in the development of remedial curricular and teaching strategies to support students identified with poor self-efficacy for learning and performance.

Imunisasi yang mencegah pneumonia seperti imunisasi Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV), Haemophilus influenze tipe B (Hib), Difteri-Pertusis-Tetanus (DPT), dan campak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan status imunisasi dasar <1 tahun dengan pneumonia pada pasien balita rawat inap di RSIA Respati Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional analitik dengan pendekatan kasus kontrol periode Oktober – November 2020. Sampel diambil dengan teknik non-random dengan jenis kuota sampling. Data status imunisasi diperoleh dari rekam medis pasien dan Kartu Menuju Sehat sebagai kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan seluruh balita tidak pernah mendapatkan imunisasi PCV, 22 dari 30 balita mendapatkan imunisasi Hib lengkap, 25 dari 30 balita mendapatkan imunisasi DPT lengkap, dan 27 dan 30 balita pernah mendapatkan imunisasi campak. Hasil analisis menunjuk hubungan status imunisasi Hib, DPT, dan campak (nilai p=0,000). Balita yang mendapatkan imunisasi Hib, DPT, dan campak lengkap memiliki peluang lebih baik terhindar dari pneumonia dibanding dengan balita yang belum pernah mendapatkan imunisasi. Diharapkan masyarakat mendapat imunisasi Hib, DPT, dan campak lengkap untuk mencegah pneumonia. That conducted in October - November 2020 on 30 hospitalized under-five children at Mother and Child Hospital Respati Tasikmalaya and 30 healthy under-five children as a control group. Samples were taken using a quota sampling technique. Retrieval of immunization status using patient medical records and Maternal and Neonatal Health Book. Data analysis using the chi-square test. The results showed that all children under five had never received PCV immunization, 22 from 30 children received complete Hib immunization, 25 from 30 children received complete DPT immunization, and 27 from 30 children received measles immunization. Chi-square analysis showed that there is a correlation between Hib, DPT, and measles immunization status with pneumonia in under-five children (p-value = 0.000). Under-five children who had received complete Hib, DPT, and measles immunization have a better chance to avoid pneumonia compared to those who had never received immunization. It is hoped that people received complete Hib, DPT, and measles immunization to prevent pneumonia.

Abstrak. Pneumonia adalah penyakit inflamasi pada paru-paru yang merupakan salah satu penyebab kematian anak-anak di dunia. Salah satu faktor risiko pasti pneumonia adalah status imunisasi dasar yang belum lengkap. Imunisasi yang mencegah pneumonia seperti imunisasi Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV), Haemophilus influenza tipe B (Hib), Difteri-Pertusis-Tetanus (DPT), dan Campak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan status imunisasi dasar <1 tahun dengan pneumonia pada pasien balita rawat inap di RSIA Respati Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional analitik dengan pendekatan kasus kontrol. Sampel diambil dengan teknik non-random dengan jenis kuota sampling. Data status imunisasi diperoleh dari rekam medis pasien dan Kartu Menuju Sehat sebagai kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-square¬. Follow-up immunization is an activity that aims to ensure that the level of immunity is maintained in children under the age of five, school-aged children, and women of childbearing age (WUS), including pregnant women. Follow-up immunization is the administration of DPT-HB-Hib and rubella measles vaccines. Follow-up immunization coverage in 2018 at the Nanga Pinoh Health Center DPT/HB/Hib 20.8%, MR 25.9%, coverage in 2019 DPT/HB/Hib 28.8%, MR 27.5%, 2020 DPT/HB/ The advanced Hib of 41.4% and the follow-up MR of 37.4% are still far from the set target, which must reach 95%. The purpose of the study was to determine the determinants of the completeness of advanced immunization for toddlers in the working area of the Nanga Pinoh Health Center, Melawi Regency in 2021. This research uses a cross sectional design. The population is toddlers in the working area of the Nanga Pinoh Health Center as many as 941 people, the research sample is 181 taken by proportional random sampling technique. The statistical test used was the chi-square test with a 95% confidence level. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between mother's work (p-value = 0.013), mother's knowledge (p-value = 0.000), mother's behavior (p-value = 0.006), and family support (p-value = 0.008) with follow-up immunizations for toddlers. The unrelated variables were mother's attitude (p-value = 0.087) and support from health workers (p-value = 0.921). It is suggested to the Melawi District Health Office to improve the posyandu cadre training program, provide advice on information communication, home visit programs, and cross-sectoral advocacy, in collaboration with the Puskesmas in counseling and monitoring the follow-up immunization program.

Background/Aim. Keratoconus is a disorder of the eye which results in progressive thinning of the cornea. The cross-linking procedure (CXL) is applied in the treatment of initial progredient forms of keratoconus. It is aiming at increasing biomechanical stability of corneal stromal tissue to slow down or stop progressing the ectatic disorder. The aim of the study was to examine the effect of CXL procedure on values of steep keratometry (K2) and central pachymetry (CCT) six months after the intervention in keratoconusaffected patients. Methods. Clinical prospective cohort study included 30 eyes of 29 patients suffering from keratoconus. All patients were examined on Allegro-Oculyzer in order to diagnose and follow up keratoconus, thus obtaining corneal topography parameters and parameters important for this study: K2 and CCT, preoperatively and six months postoperatively. The CXL procedure was carried out by following the modified Dresden Protocol. Results. K2 mean value was 49.01 ? 3.99 diopter (Dpt) preoperatively and 48.06 ? 4.46 Dpt six months postoperatively. K2 decreased six months postoperatively by 0.95 Dpt, proportionally in all patients. Student's paired sample t test showed that average decrease of K2 (d? = 0.95 Dpt) was highly statistically significant (t = 3.381; p < 0.01). CCT mean value was 480.17 ? 36.62 ?m preoperatively and 444.37 ? 45.01 ?m six months postoperatively. CCT decreased six months postoperatively by 35.8 ?m, proportionally in all patients. Student's paired sample t test showed that average decrease of CCT (d? = 35.8 ?m) was highly statistically important (t = 6.40; p < 0.001)). Conclusion. Application of CXL procedure in the treatment of keratoconus with confirmed progression highly reduces steep keratometry and central pachymetry six months postoperatively. By steep keratometry reducing effect the CXL procedure is efficient in the treatment of keratoconus, especially its initial stages.

This study was conducted to investigate the possible neurotransmitter that activates the descending pathways coming from the dorsolateral pontine tegmentum (DPT) to modulate spinal pelvic-urethra reflex potentiation. External urethra sphincter electromyogram (EUSE) activity in response to test stimulation (TS, 1/30 Hz) and repetitive stimulation (RS, 1 Hz) on the pelvic afferent nerve of 63 anesthetized rats were recorded with or without microinjection of nicotinic cholinergic receptor (nAChR) agonists, ACh and nicotine, to the DPT. TS evoked a baseline reflex activity with a single action potential (1.00 ± 0.00 spikes/stimulation, n = 40), whereas RS produced a long-lasting reflex potentiation (16.14 ± 0.96 spikes/stimulation, n = 40) that was abolished by d-2-amino-5-phosphonovaleric acid (1.60 ± 0.89 spikes/stimulation, n = 40) and was attenuated by 2,3-dihydroxy-6-nitro-7-sulfamoyl-benzo (F) quinoxaline (7.10 ± 0.84 spikes/stimulation, n = 40). ACh and nicotine microinjections to DPT both produced facilitation on the RS-induced reflex potentiation (23.57 ± 2.23 and 28.29 ± 2.36 spikes/stimulation, P < 0.01, n = 10 and 20, respectively). Pretreatment of selective nicotinic receptor antagonist, chlorisondamine, reversed the facilitation on RS-induced reflex potentiation caused by nicotine (19.41 ± 1.21 spikes/stimulation, P < 0.01, n = 10) Intrathecal WAY-100635 and spinal transection at the T1level both abolished the facilitation on reflex potentiation resulting from the DPT nicotine injection (12.86 ± 3.13 and 15.57 ± 1.72 spikes/stimulation, P < 0.01, n = 10 each). Our findings suggest that activation of nAChR at DPT may modulate N-methyl-d-aspartic acid-dependent reflex potentiation via descending serotonergic neurotransmission. This descending modulation may have physiological/pathological relevance in the neural controls of urethral closure.
