En esta investigación se examina la creación de la idea de negocio llamada Doña Hermelinda. Esta idea surgió debido a la coyuntura actual en la que se encuentra el país, adaptando el producto a las necesidades actuales. La investigación nos ha permitido confirmar la viabilidad de nuestro proyecto incursionando nuestra marca en el mercado de Lima. Para ello hemos utilizado un canal de ventas principal es cual fue las redes sociales del proyecto, lo cual nos permitió obtener resultados satisfactorios expresados en las ventas realizadas. Luego de pasar por un proceso de validación de problema, de idea de negocio y concierge, se procedió a realizar los planes a futuro respectivos lo cual se concluyó en la realización del plan financiero. Los resultados de nuestra investigación se pueden resumir en que nuestro VAN es de 139,073 con un retorno en el año 3 y nuestro TIR es de 37.21% lo cual demuestra la viabilidad del proyecto.This research examines the creation of the business idea called Doña Hermelinda. This idea arose due to the current situation in which the country finds itself, adapting the product to current needs. The research has allowed us to confirm the viability of our project by entering our brand in the Lima market. For this we have used a main sales channel which was the project's social networks, which obtained satisfactory results expressed in the sales made. After going through a process of validation of the problem, the business idea and the concierge, the selected future plans were carried out, which was concluded in the realization of the financial plan. The results of our research can be summarized in that our NPV is 139,073 with a return in year 3 and our IRR is 37.21% which shows the viability of the project.

La finalitat de la tesi rau en cercar coneixement sobre la transició de la jubilació de dones jubilades, i aportar aquest coneixement a la disciplina infermera per tal que els seus professionals puguin establir criteris i dissenyar programes de salut específics que millorin les cures infermeres que se’ls poden oferir, en aquesta etapa de la vida, des de l’Atenció Primària de Salut (APS). Es planteja com a objectiu descriure la jubilació de les dones que han participat en l’estudi, i per fer-ho des d’aquest horitzó d’una futura atenció infermera, calia analitzar el elements identificats que caracteritzen el seu procés a la llum de referents teòrics que, entre d’altres, contemplessin la perspectiva infermera, d’aquí que un dels punts importants del marc teòric hagi estat la Teoria de les Transicions de Meleis.
L’estudi està acotat geogràficament a Catalunya, i en concret es circumscriu a la ciutat de Barcelona. S’ha seleccionat aquesta ciutat per la representativitat de les seves dades, ja que, segons l’anuari d’envelliment de Catalunya (2004), la taxa de sobreenvelliment al nostre país es concentra sobretot en els municipis de més de 500.000 habitants, i un total del 30% es localitzen només a la ciutat de Barcelona.
La recerca s’aborda des del paradigma qualitatiu en estar orientat vers la comprensió i interpretació dels significats i accions des de la pròpia perspectiva de les dones jubilades. En el procés de recollida de les dades, la tècnica dels grups de discussió ha estat el nucli central del treball de camp. L’anàlisi de les dades s’ha realitzat mitjançant el procediment de l’Anàlisi de Contingut en la seva concepció més tradicional.La finalidad de la tesis es obtener conocimiento sobre la transición de la jubilación de mujeres jubiladas, y aportar este conocimiento a la disciplina enfermera para que sus profesionales puedan establecer criterios y diseñar programas de salud específicos que mejoren los cuidados enfermeros que se les pueden ofrecer, en esta etapa de la vida, desde la Atención Primaria de Salud (APS). Se plantea como objetivo describir la jubilación de las mujeres que han participado en el estudio, y para hacerlo desde el horizonte de una futura atención enfermera, era necesario analizar los elementos identificados que caracterizan este proceso a la luz de referentes teóricos que, entre otros, contemplen la perspectiva enfermera, de aquí que uno de los puntos importantes del marco teórico haya sido la Teoría de las Transiciones de Meleis. El estudio está acotado geográficamente en Cataluña, y en concreto se circunscribe a la ciudad de Barcelona. Se ha seleccionado esta ciudad por la representatividad de sus datos, ya que, según el anuario de envejecimiento de Cataluña (2004), la tasa de sobre envejecimiento en nuestro país se concentra sobre todo en los municipios de más de 500.000 habitantes, y un total del 30% se localizan en la ciudad de Barcelona. La investigación se aborda desde el paradigma cualitativo al orientarse a la comprensión e interpretación de los significados y acciones desde la propia perspectiva de las mujeres jubiladas. En el proceso de recogida de los datos, la técnica de los grupos de discusión ha sido el núcleo central del trabajo de campo. El análisis de los datos se ha realizado mediante el procedimiento del Análisis de Contenido en su concepción más tradicional.

This research considers the hypothesis that eugenic ideology still influences social work practice in contemporary Britain. Exploring the issues through a feminist perspective by utilizing a narrative approach with individuals with learning disabilities. For many people with learning disabilities access to 'Human Rights' is rather elusive and this work seeks to examine this through the lens of eugenic ideology and a Bourdieusian approach to social work. The purpose being to ascertain if eugenic ideology is still present, if only through the Bourdieusian concept of "doxa", if so how does this affect the life choices and human rights of the people in the research. Based on the 'lived experiences' of a number of individuals with learning disabilities, all of whom were members of a self-advocacy group in England. All participants had previously been involved as service users in the selection of Social Work students for a London university and were contributors to the programme in this capacity over a period of several years. Involvement of participants in the research with the self-advocacy group was by open invitation to the group members, and individual 'life stories ' were documented through recorded interviews by the researcher over a period of several months. Utilizing a narrative approach to the life stories from a feminist perspective the experiences were examined against the historical backdrop of eugenics, articles of the Human Rights Act and Bourdieu's theory of practice. The findings show oppression, inequality and a lack of 'Human Rights' experienced by the participants, this against a policy background of 'Valuing People' and 'Personalisation' which both set out to promote strategies of social inclusion and real opportunities for people with learning disabilities. The 'caring ' professions including social work are implicated in the continuing and ongoing oppression and symbolic violence of people with learning disabilities. Whilst the terminology of 'eugenics' is no longer an acceptable topic of conversation, the impact of the ideology continues to permeate the ‘collective unconsciousness' (doxa) of many including those who are involved in the decision making processes of individuals identified as learning disabled. The implications for practice is that awareness of the pernicious effects of the eugenic movement need to be taught as part of the history of social work and included in the curriculum, if we are to avoid repeating the horrors of the history of the eugenic movement. By utilizing Bourdieu's concepts of habitus, capital and field, together with doxa and hysteresis it is possible to arrive at a new model of Social Work practice to address discrimination and to promote anti oppressive practice. The "Hysteresis Wheel', is a model developed as a result of this research.

The present universe in this work reveals a world that escapes the usual standards of morality imposed by the epoch system, the dictatorship.
Esta dissertação tem por objetivo analisar o romance, Dona Flor e seus dois maridos, escrito por Jorge Amado e publicado em 1966. A análise tem como suporte conceitual personagem, sonho e hibridização, conceitos articulados com a carnavalização da narrativa literária, fruto dos estudos de Mikhail Bakhtin, Roberto DaMatta, Affonso Romano de Sant Anna, Georges Bataille e Luis Alberto Warat e Luis Alberto Warat entre outros, que contribuem para a compreensão do mundo às avessas , centrado na pesquisa dos elementos carnavalizantes na obra em questão e representado por meio das personagens: Vadinho, Dona Flor, Teodoro e Dona Rozilda. O universo presente nesta obra em estudo revela um mundo que foge aos padrões habituais de moralidade, impostos pelo sistema da época, a ditadura.

I do not avoid political and historical circumstances of the theme, which had influence on dramaturgists of broadcasting in this period. In year 1969 started radical changes in management and in broadcasting of the Czechoslovak television. Important event for theatre in TV was revival of the popular cycle ? We are inviting you to the theatre ? in year 1983. TV is very important for popularisation of the theatre. Thanks to the TV screens theatre performances can reach even the remotest parts of our country. Many viewer knows theatre only through a TV screen.

The working hours, as a very important life part of most of the economically active people, are a significant indicator of the job market's flexibility. The first part of this thesis deals with the economic analysis of an individual person's time, forming of the labour supply and demand, and State's interference with job market. Afterwards follows the outline of the historical development of working hours, with the origins and progression of a regulation of this area. The third part is focusing on the legal form of working hours in the Czech Republic, including regulation of breaks, working hours' set out, privilege leave and special arrangements for a certain groups of employees. The next part analyses unusual working modes that are helping to create a more flexible job market and more job opportunities, such as part-time work or labour time account. The thesis includes a part where is being compared regulation of the working hours with the world, from the point of view of certain international institutions such as the World Bank. A special emphasis is placed on the confrontation with countries of the European Union. The last part deals with the analysis of the contemporary adjustment of working hours in the European Union, which greatly influences the competitiveness of the job market in the EU.

La industria gamer ha llevado a la posibilidad de subsistir económicamente del streaming. Dado que los streamers generan ingresos en relación con su audiencia, mientras mayor sea esta y esté más conectada con ella mayor probabilidad habrá de que genere mayores ingresos. Por ende, surge un nuevo modelo de negocio que requiere de una gestión reputacional para construir esta audiencia. Para ello, se necesita un primer análisis del contexto peruano desde la percepción que mantienen los jugadores de Dota 2 peruanos frente a los streamers peruanos de Dota 2. Por ello, este trabajo utiliza el paradigma naturalista/interpretativo que estudia al público en su contexto natural, es decir los gamers y el Dota 2. El diseño para este sería fenomenológico pues se busca entender la percepción (reputación) del streamer peruano desde el punto de vista de los jugadores de Dota 2 en general. Finalmente, se usa un enfoque cualitativo para obtener las opiniones de los usuarios que juegan Dota 2 sobre los streamers peruanos, con el uso de entrevistas semiestructuradas para alinearlas en los 3 aspectos para medir reputación: sólida dimensión axiológica, comportamiento comprometido y calidad de servicio.The gaming industry has led to the possibility of economically subsisting on streaming. Since streamers generate income in relation to their audience, the larger their audience and the more connected they are, the greater probability of generating more income will exist. Therefore, a new business model emerges that requires reputational management to build this audience. To do this, a first analysis of the Peruvian context is needed from the perception that Peruvian Dota 2 players maintain compared to Peruvian Dota 2 streamers. That’s why, this work uses the naturalistic paradigm /interpretive that studies the public in its natural context, that is, the gamers in their gameplay and the design for this would be phenomenological because it seeks to understand the perception (reputation) of the Peruvian streamer from the point of view of Dota 2 players in general. Finally, a qualitative approach is used to obtain the opinions of the users who play Dota 2 on the Peruvian streamers, with the use of semi-structured interviews to align them in the 3 aspects to measure reputation: solid axiological dimension, committed behavior and quality of service.

The thesis presented is a study of some women's movements which claim a recovery of the female body from a feminist and ecologist standpoint and which are currently spreading their influence. It provides a summary of the different aspects that embrace these international movements and their growing influence in Catalonia. It is intended to reflect on the ambivalence, but also the potential of these resistance movements in the corrent medical, educational and socioeconomic model. The many interviews that are part of the text set different shades to complete the mosaic portrait of this reality. It is a qualitative analysis which gives voice to different women involved in some aspects of the moviment studied in this thesis, either as professionals or as users: the female body, the menstrual cycle, women's circles and motherhood. The results obtained highlight the fact that the link between environmentalism, feminism and corporeality not only involves changes towards new practices at individual and family levels but also claims a global economic decline in order to achieve greater attention to life and its cycles. If these new attitudes are not favored from the environment, the result may be a source of physical and psychological exhaustion for some women.La tesi que es presenta constitueix un estudi d'alguns moviments de dones que s'estan difonent actualment i que reclamen recuperar el cos femení des d'una perspectiva feminista i ecologista. S'ofereix un compendi dels diferents aspectes que abracen aquests moviments d'abast internacional i de creixent influència a Catalunya. Així, es pretén reflexionar sobre les ambivalències, però també les potencialitats d'aquests moviments de resistència a l'actual model mèdic, educatiu i socioeconòmic. Les múltiples entrevistes que formen part del text estableixen diferents matisos i completen el mosaic del retrat d'aquesta realitat. Es tracta d'una anàlisi qualitativa en què es dóna veu a diferents dones que participen en alguns dels aspectes del moviment que s'estudien en aquesta tesi, ja sigui com a professionals o com a usuàries: cos femení, cicle menstrual, cercles de dones i maternitat. Els resultats que s'han obtingut subratllen la vinculació entre l'ecologisme, el feminisme i la corporalitat que no només passa per canvis en noves pràctiques a nivell individual i familiar sinó també per una proposta global de decreixement econòmic per una major atenció a la vida i als seus cicles, ja que si des de l'entorn no s'afavoreixen, aquestes actituts poden arribar a suposar una font d'esgotament físic i psicològic per a algunes dones.

Isocrates was Plato's main rival as school founder. The first part outlines the primordial significance of Isocrates for European humanism. The second part explains the wide-ranged concepts where with lsocrates grounds his rethoricles son, specially in his programmatic writing, Against Sophists. In the third part is explicated why Isocrates, unlike Plato, places and what that means methodologically. From these premisses the fourth part draws consequences for the understanding of apettí in Isocrates' idea of education, and shows how it prepares Aristotle's ethics.Isócrates fue el principal rival de Platón como fundador de escuela. En la primera parte se esboza el significado eminente de Isócrates para el humanismo europeo. La segunda parte esclarece los conceptos de gran alcance, con los cuales Isócrates, sobre todo en su escrito programático Conrra los sofistas, funda su lección de retórica. En la tercera parte se explica por qué Isócrates, a diferencia de Platón, y qué signitica ello desde un punto de vista metodológico. A partir de estos presupuestos, la cuarta parte deriva consecuencias para la comprensión en el concepto de educación de Isócrates y muestra cómo ya allí se prepara la ética de Aristóteles.

This phase lasted approximatelly from 13th century till mid 19th century. I also mention the possible causes and important historical contexts in the thesis, on which climate change associated with Little Ice Age could have considerable influence. While searching for information on a particular topic, I relied on the assumptions of the books of worlds authors and on chronicles records.

This thesis presentes a study about the character Dona Benta as a Reading mediator in Dom Quixote das Crianças and in Geografia de Dona Benta. At the first one it seems to be there a reading project thought by Monteiro Lobato and executed by the character of the grandmother; at the second, she is responsible for mediating the knowledge through the resource of a trip. To execute this work it was necessary an investigation about how the action of the grandmother mediator happens in all Lobato’s books for children in order to distinguish her actions in these two texts and from this investigation it was concluded it happens in two ways: Dona Benta-grandmother-mediator “familiar” with reading, and Dona Benta grandmother-teacher-mediator who “institutionalizes” the knowledgement. At this work we also tried to understand how the ilustrations of her character, designed by a variety of ilustrators in many different editions, show an evolution in her moments of reading mediation. In addittion, we also tried to understand how it might have contributed to reinforce this aspect in young readers. Finally, it was still possible to discuss in this thesis how Dona Benta can be an efficient example of Reading mediator in new media and technologies even nowadays.
Esta tese apresenta um estudo sobre a personagem Dona Benta como mediadora de leitura em Dom Quixote das Crianças e em Geografia de Dona Benta. Na primeira obra parece haver um projeto de leitura pensado por parte de Monteiro Lobato e executado pela personagem-avó; na segunda, ela é a responsável por mediar o conhecimento a partir do recurso da viagem. Para executar tal tarefa foi necessária uma investigação de como se realiza a ação mediadora da avó em todas as obras infantis de Lobato para distinguir sua atuação nestas duas obras e chegou-se ao resultado de que ela ocorre sob duas formas a saber: Dona Benta-avó-mediadora “familiar” de leitura, e Dona Benta avó-professora-mediadora “institucional” do conhecimento. Procurou-se, também, entender como as imagens dela, executadas pelos mais diversos ilustradores, ao longo das muitas edições, apontam para uma evolução na construção dessa personagem e como algumas dessas imagens, em momentos de mediação de leitura, podem ter contribuído para firmar essa marca-característica nos pequenos leitores. Initially, the work is based on reports of social impacts of the Dona Francisca hidroelectric power plant, to comprehend how the individuals that had chosen the rellocation based on great lot amount are studied and understood. Complementing this first analysis and the bibliographical review of authors that study general sociology, as Antony Giddens, Ignacy Sachs, Ulrich Beck and Amartya Sen to complement the same theories. These authors will help me to scope the tools used to analyse the social and environmental studies by stugying the effected individuals. The rationality was captured based on a structured questionário containing closed and opened questions. The closed questions part consisted in a description of the structual issue and social phenomenon that surroud the ressetled and its community. The opened questions explored issues that demanded a recall from the ressetlement, by considering the current social and economical life and also a projection of their future. The data showed that considering both closed and opened questions, it is clear some reflection points about the object. It was used the approach of Amartya Sen to make an analytical cleavage of the impacts in their lifes. The data demonstrated that in a general way, the individuals dont fit in the theory of human developing from Amartya Sen. Considering that, it is possible to comprehend that the ressetled individuals chase development trough the economical activities. The research demonstrates through epistemological data that it is necessessary to strengthen the social and environmental studies by using cases that exist already. These type of word would improve some solutions to those individuals.
Este trabalho tem por finalidade analisar os impactos socioambientais causados em decorrência da construção da Usina Hidrelétrica Dona Francisca, situada na região central do Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Esse trabalho conta inicialmente com a leitura detalhada dos relatórios de impacto ambiental, da usina em questão, para compreender como os indivíduos que escolheram o reassentamento por grandes lotes, são compreendidos pelos estudos. Complementando essa primeira análise, juntamente com a revisão bibliográfica dos autores que teorizam sobre uma sociologia geral, como Anthony Giddens, e através de autores selecionados para complementar a idéia do mesmo, como Ignacy Sachs, Ulrich Beck, Amartya Sen. Esses autores serão utilizados no empreendimento desse trabalho, que visa um refinamento das ferramentas utilizadas pelos estudos de impacto ambiental. Refinamento que é alcançado pelo pesquisador através da análise da racionalidade dos indivíduos que vivem nos reassentamentos. A compreensão é direcionada sobre as alterações e os impactos socioambientais que eles sentiram e que convivem, dez anos após o reassentamento. Alguns aspectos da racionalidade foram obtidos a partir de um questionário estruturado contendo perguntas fechadas e abertas. A parte fechada consistiu em uma descrição de questões estruturais e de fenômenos sociais que circundam o reassentado e sua comunidade. A parte aberta contou com questões que exigiam do entrevistado um exercício de rememoração do processo de reassentamento, através de sua situação social e econômica atual. Além disso, contou com uma atividade de projeção do que espera para seu futuro, frente suas expectativas de qualidade de vida. Constatou-se com essa pesquisa que a parte fechada, analisada descritivamente através do SPSS, e a parte aberta complementaram-se de modo a deixar claro alguns pontos de reflexão sobre o objeto. Utilizando a abordagem de Amartya Sen para realizar a clivagem analítica dos impactos socioambientais na qualidade de vida dos reassentados, foi possível compreender que os indivíduos analisados, de forma geral, não se encaixam na idealização de desenvolvimento humano de Amartya Sen. Sobretudo é possível compreender que outras formas de buscar o desenvolvimento, que não a econômica são pouco apontadas como saídas para seus problemas. A pesquisa assinala através do recorte epistemológico dado, o que é necessário fortalecer nos estudos de impacto ambiental, utilizando para isso, casos já existentes e análise dos problemas socioambientais, partindo do entendimento de quem o vive. A utilização deste saber local, juntamente com o resgate histórico das práticas sociais e econômicas no local de origem desses indivíduos são recursos mínimos para serem contemplados na formatação de medidas mitigadoras para indivíduos que vivem situações semelhantes.

Através de seus versos mergulha-se em um dado momento no mundo profano e em outro no sagrado. Conhecida por sua poesia intimista, de reverberações metafísicas, de influências do intimismo de Rainer Maria Rilke e pelas ideias junquianas de arquétipo, inconsciente e símbolo, Dora tece seus poemas com muita sutileza e ressalta a beleza primordial e elementar em uma linguagem impecável. Seu lirismo é permeado das imagens e símbolos universais dos mitos, os quais fazem parte do cotidiano e da religiosidade, ao mesmo tempo em que evocam imagens no inconsciente coletivo, despertando para a ancestralidade do homem. Contudo, Dora Ferreira da Silva consegue tratar desses temas em um estilo que aparentemente é contrário à subjetividade lírica de sua poesia, o Concretismo. Sob este aspecto, a proposta desta Dissertação de Mestrado consiste em analisar a poesia de Dora, tendo como foco dois blocos de poemas: “Lunimago” e “Elementária”, presentes em seu primeiro livro de poemas, An-danças, publicado em 1970. É ressaltado, nesta fase do trabalho da poeta, seu estilo no uso das imagens míticas, aliadas às formas verbais, sonoras e visuais, características próprias do concretismo, e destacada esta vertente em seu fazer poético, que representa o tema central desta dissertação e chama a atenção porque ainda é desconhecida e raramente mencionada.Abstract: Dora Ferreira da Silva, winner of several significant awards in the literary world, has a unique and peculiar style. Through her verses, one can immerse himself in both sacred and profane worlds. Known for her intimate poetry of metaphysical reverberations, influenced by the inwardness of Rainer Maria Rilke and Jung’s ideas of archetype, unconscious and symbol, Dora writes her poems with such subtlety and emphasis on the primordial, elementary beauty with impeccable language. Her lyricism is permeated by the images and universal symbolisms of myths, which are part of daily life and religiosity, while it evokes images in the collective unconscious, awakening to the ancestry of man. However, Dora Ferreira da Silva manages to deal with these themes in a style which is apparently opposite to the lyric subjectivity of her poetry – Concretism. In this aspect, the proposal of this Master’s dissertation consists in analyzing Dora's poetry focusing on two corpura – “Lunimago” and “Elementária” –, both from her first opus, An-danças, which was published in 1970. In this set of poems, the experimentation carried out by the poet in the paths proposed by the Concrete Poetry is analyzed and evidenced, within the context of Brazilian Modernism. The fundamentals of the theoretical contribution of myth criticism, as well as the theoretical assumptions of critics and scholars of poetry and concretism are used. At this stage in the poet’s work her style is emphasized in the use of mythical images allied to verbal, sonorous and visual forms, characteristic of concretism, which represents the central theme of this dissertation and draws attention to it since it is still unknown and rarely mentioned.

In the first part is a literature research, there is described the measuring device called eyetracker, that is used to record the eye movement. Furthermore there are kinds of eyetrackers that are currently used. There is also described traffic signs form 1961 until 2009. The second part draws of the video records from driving tests, which were conducted in the towards of this thesis. The results were processed and evaluated data were determinated to find the usual time of observation of traffic signs of drivers and their comparison with the time devoted to driving.

Součástí práce jsou myšlenky autorů světového managementu o změnách principů řízení v 21. století. Třetina práce obsahuje představení a popis evropského projektu 5 denní auto, který se snaží nalézt řešení pro zkrácení současných dob realizace výroby vozů na zakázku ze 40-60 dní na 5 dní. V závěru jsem popsal možné změny výrobních a logistických strategií k dosažení zkrácení realizačních dob výroby vozů na zakázku.

Dora is a multiplicitous being who transcends time, space, and reality like a cubist painting. A fictional, literary character based on a once living woman, Ida Bauer, Dora is an amalgamation of Ida and of Freud, who published the sole account of Ida's case of hysteria.
I will research the two most striking iterations of Dora Bauer -the casebook Dora: An Analysis of a Case of Hysteria by Sigmund Freud and the stage play Portrait of Dora by Hélène Cixous. My multimodal form of analysis encompasses three distinct modes. Through the first mode, metaethics, I aim to assess Freud and Cixous' arguments and ethics of representation, not to judge, but to reveal the validity of their potential motivations when viewed through each one's individual matrix of ethics. Through the second, Naomi Scheman's multiplicitous identity theory, I will investigate the signs of multiplicity in Dora's portrayal by both Freud and Cixous. Through the final mode of analysis, cubism as an art form in concert with Non-Euclidean geometry, I will reveal both Freud and Cixous' fourth dimensional quality of writing and of representation.
Metaethics, multiplicitous identity, and cubism can be modes of resistance, of therapy for the theatre. In concert with this thesis, I have created a rehearsal process in which the actors and I investigated these modes within the theatre. With Dora as our subject, we have created an experimental reading of Cixous' Portrait of Dora, and we have written and composed an original play with music The Dora Project. I will explain in the final chapter how we set about manifesting this scholarship on stage and what we encountered along the way.

Context: Real-time games like Dota 2 lack the extensive mathematical modeling of turn-based games that can be used to make objective statements about how to best play them. Understanding a real-time computer game through the same kind of modeling as a turn-based game is practically impossible. Objectives: In this thesis an attempt was made to create a model using machine learning that can predict the winning team of a Dota 2 game given partial data collected as the game progressed. A couple of different classifiers were tested, out of these Random Forest was chosen to be studied more in depth. Methods: A method was devised for retrieving Dota 2 replays and parsing them into a format that can be used to train classifier models. An experiment was conducted comparing the accuracy of several machine learning algorithms with the Random Forest algorithm on predicting the outcome of Dota 2 games. A further experiment comparing the average accuracy of 25 Random Forest models using different settings for the number of trees and attributes was conducted. Results: Random Forest had the highest accuracy of the different algorithms with the best parameter setting having an average of 88.83% accuracy, with a 82.23% accuracy at the five minute point. Conclusions: Given the results, it was concluded that partial game-state data can be used to accurately predict the results of an ongoing game of Dota 2 in real-time with the application of machine learning techniques.

The rapprochement between literature and philosophy took over, throughout history, in various ways and was treated by different thinkers and poets who, in the course of their production, worked on such a joint. Among these poets, Dora Ferreira da Silva (1919-2006) presented a poetry that allows the development of a reflection about poetry and the world, making it possible to reflect on the matter that the existence of the being is also linked to their language ability. Through a thematic discussion, this study aimed to demonstrate that the poet Dora Ferreira da Silva articulates poetry and thinking and approximates both modes of language in order to reach the truth. For this, the first part of the discussion made considerations about the relation between poetry and thinking, commenting on the development of ideas around this question. In order to better understand the peculiarities of poetry and its relationship with the construction of thinking, it was discussed the amorphic nature of the lyric as a result of subjectivity and its relation with thinking. In addition, the study aimed to bring to discussion truth and subjectivity, calling the poetic path course of Dora Ferreira da Silva and the articulation of her thinking in her poetic productions. Furthermore, it was taken into consideration the assumptions of the philosopher Martin Heidegger, in particular his contributions about the concept of truth, in order to point to the ongoing crisis between literature and philosophy and Heidegger's criticism about the metaphysics and the traditional philosophy. This work also commented on the concept of truth in the Western philosophical view and introduced the notion of Martin Heidegger on truth, taking as reference his work Being and Time (1995) - a study that supports the concept of Heidegger's true. Based on Heidegger's postulate in his work The origin of the work of art (2002) - reflection that presents the art as an event of truth – this study also discussed how the art has a ontological position by just consist of the happening of truth. Still guided by Heidegger, analytical observations were sustained about Dora Ferreira da Silva's work, demonstrating how the poet thinks the world and thus reaches the truth. Among the many poems of the author, it was considered, that is, criticized those considered emblematic and therefore able to identify Dora Ferreira da Silva and her poetic composition. Finally, the work dealt with the dialogue between poetry and thinking, pointing to what is the truth in Dora Ferreira da Silva's poetry. Here, art and thinking were related to existential and religious concerns of the poet studied.
A aproximação entre literatura e filosofia assumiu, ao longo da história, variadas formas e foi tratada por diferentes pensadores e poetas que, no curso de suas produções, lançaram mão de tal articulação. Dentre tais poetas, Dora Ferreira da Silva (1919-2006) apresentou uma poesia que cede lugar a uma reflexão sobre o poético e o mundo, abrindo caminho para o pensamento, ao encarar que a existência do ser se vincula também à sua capacidade de linguagem. Por meio de uma discussão temática, este trabalho objetivou demonstrar que a escrita poética de Dora Ferreira da Silva articula poesia e pensamento e aproxima esses dois modos de operação da linguagem a fim de alcançar a verdade. Para tanto, na primeira parte da discussão aqui levantada, foram tecidas considerações sobre a relação entre poesia e pensamento, comentando o desenvolvimento das concepções em torno dessa questão. Afim de melhor entender as peculiaridades da poesia e sua relação com a construção do pensamento, foram discutidas a natureza amórfica da lírica enquanto resultado da subjetividade e a relação desta com o pensamento. Além disso, o trabalho pretendeu aproximar verdade e subjetividade, convocando a trajetória poética de Dora Ferreira da Silva e a articulação do seu pensamento em suas produções poéticas. Ademais, os pressupostos do filósofo Martin Heidegger e, em especial, suas contribuições acerca do conceito de verdade foram trazidos à discussão a fim de apontar para a crise existente entre literatura e filosofia e a crítica heideggeriana à metafísica e à tradição filosófica. O trabalho também se ocupou de comentar o conceito de verdade dentro da tradição filosófica ocidental e apresentou a noção de Martin Heidegger sobre verdade, tendo como base referencial sua obra Ser e tempo (1995), estudo que sustenta o conceito de verdade heideggeriano. Tendo por base o postulado de Heidegger em sua obra A origem da obra de arte (2002) , reflexão que apresenta a obra de arte como um acontecimento da verdade, o trabalho também discutiu de que maneira a obra de arte ganha alcance ontológico por justamente consistir no acontecer da verdade. Ainda orientado por Heidegger, foram sustentadas observações analíticas acerca da obra de Dora Ferreira da Silva, demonstrando de que maneira a poeta pensa o mundo e, assim, chega à verdade. Dentre os vários poemas da autora, fez-se crítica daqueles considerados emblemáticos e, por isso, capazes de identificar Dora Ferreira da Silva e sua composição poética. Por fim, o trabalho tratou do desdobramento do diálogo entre poesia e pensamento, apontando para o que é a verdade na poesia de Dora Ferreira da Silva. Aqui, procurou-se associar o problema da relação entre arte e pensamento às preocupações de ordem existencialista e religiosa da poeta em análise, comentando as escolhas e estratégias estéticas da autora.

Dora Wordsworth and Sara Coleridge were lifelong friends. They were also the daughters of best friends: William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge, the two poetic geniuses who shaped the Romantic Age. Living in the shadow of their fathers’ extraordinary fame brought Sara and Dora great privilege, but at a terrible cost. In different ways, each father almost destroyed his daughter. And in different ways each daughter made her father. Growing up in the shadow of genius, both girls made it their ambition to dedicate themselves to their father’s writing and reputation. Anorexia, drug addiction and depression were part of the legacy of fame, but so too were great friendship and love. In this thesis I give the never-before-told story of how two young women, born into greatness, shaped their own histories. In doing I also re-examine the lives of Wordsworth and Coleridge and the significant role Dora and Sara played in their lives, their writing and their legacies. My study of the lives of Dora Wordsworth and Sara Coleridge was written as a biography aimed at a readership beyond academia. While the narrative is based on primary manuscript sources, I have deliberately used the techniques of the professional biographer to create character, pace, conflict and drama. In order to fit within the PhD assessment criteria, which requires me to submit no more than 100,000 words, the material submitted here is an abridged version of a full-length double biography of Dora and Sara. This main thesis is preceded by a short critical essay with some details about the nature of the research as well as assessment of the PhD’s contribution to knowledge.

In the presented thesis the aim is to apply methods of survival analysis to the data from the Labour Force Survey, which are interval-censored. With regard to this type of data, I use specific methods designed to handle them, especially Turnbull estimate, weighted log-rank test and the AFT model. Other objective of the work is the design and application of a methodology for creating a model of unemployment duration, depending on the available factors and its interpretation. Other aim is to evaluate evolution of the probability distribution of unemployment duration and last but not least aim is to create more accurate estimate of the tail using extreme value theory. The main benefits of the thesis can include the creation of a methodology for examining the data from the Labour Force Survey based on standard techniques of survival analysis. Since the data are internationally comparable, the methodology is applicable at the level of European Union countries and several others. Another benefit of this work is estimation of the parameters of the generalized Pareto distribution on interval-censored data and creation and comparison of the models of piecewise connected distribution functions with solution of the connection problem. Aquesta tesi s’ha portat a terme per compendi d’articles, consta d’un article sobre Joc Patològic (JP) de tipus retrospectiu, dut a terme amb població clínica que compara homes i dones amb joc patològic; un monogràfic de revisió sobre el trastorn de Compra Compulsiva (CC) i el capítol sobre la Compra Compulsiva Online dins un llibre de divulgació sobre l’Addicció a les noves Tecnologies, així com d’un treball empíric que compara la dona amb JP o CC pendent d’enviament per publicació. Tots els treballs s’han realitzat partint de l’experiència obtinguda en la Unitat de Joc Patològic i Altres Addiccions no Tòxiques d’Althaia, Xarxa Assistencial Universitària de Manresa.
Encara hi ha pocs estudis publicats sobre joc patològic en la dona, en comparació amb el nombre d’estudis realitzats utilitzant mostres masculines i la literatura sobre les compres compulsives en població clínica i específicament en la dona és molt limitada.
Hem volgut aprofundir en les diferències de gènere respecte al joc patològic, agafant la dona com a focus i comparar també les seves característiques sociodemogràfiques, de conducta addictiva i clíniques amb la dona amb trastorn de compra compulsiva.
La part d’investigació de la tesi, consta d’un estudi publicat sobre joc patològic que compara una mostra de jugadors i una de jugadores amb JP i un estudi pendent denviament per publicació que compara dones amb JP o amb CC. Els resultats del primer estudi indiquen que els homes i les dones amb JP presenten les mateixes característiques sociodemogràfiques i difereixen en algunes variables de la conducta de joc i en l’àmbit clínic també s’observa que presenten significativament més trastorns afectius, d’ansietat i de personalitat en comparació amb els homes. Els resultats d’aquest estudi estan en consonància amb la majoria de publicacions sobre el tema, així com la troballa que, en la mostra d’aquest estudi, es manté l’efecte telescopi. Aquest fenomen, ja observat prèviament en el JP, l’enolisme i l’addicció a opiacis, consisteix, en relació amb el joc, que les dones inicien la conducta de joc més tard que els homes i desenvolupen una progressió més ràpida del trastorn en comparació amb els homes.
En el segon estudi d’investigació, es comparen dones amb CC o amb JP i es troba un perfil similar respecte a l’edat d’inici de la conducta problema, els anys que tarden a desenvolupar l’addicció i l’edat que demanen ajuda. També s’observa el mateix nivell de comorbiditat psiquiàtrica global entre les dones amb CC i les dones amb JP, tot i que les dones amb CC presenten més trastorns de l’estat d’ànim i d’ansietat i un major consum d’alcohol i les dones amb JP tenen més trastorns de la personalitat i presenten un major consum de tabac. Creiem que, possiblement, aquestes variables coincidents tenen més a veure amb el fet de ser dona que amb el tipus d’addicció que presenten però caldria confirmar-ho comparant dones i homes amb CC.
Tant la prevalença de la dona amb JP com la dona amb CC que arriben a tractament especialitzat per tractar la seva addicció, és molt baixa en comparació amb la prevalença en població general. D’altra banda s’observa una elevada comorbiditat psiquiàtrica de trastorns de l’estat d’ànim, d’ansietat, de la personalitat o de trastorns per ús de substàncies. Sovint l’addicció conductual queda emmascarada darrere d’aquests trastorns i pot passar desapercebuda per part dels clínics si no es pregunta de forma específica. Considerem que aquesta tesi aporta més informació sobre la dona amb JP o CC amb la finalitat de poder afinar en la seva detecció, així com poder aplicar programes de tractament més centrats en les característiques diferencials de la dona.This thesis has been carried out by compendium of articles, consisting of an article on Pathological Gambling (PG) of retrospective type, made with clinical population comparing men and women with pathological gambling; a monographic review about compulsive buying disorder (CBD) and the chapter on compulsive buying online in a popular book about addiction to new technologies. There is also an empirical study that compares women with PG or CBD pending to send to be published. All the work has been done on the basis of the experience gained in the Pathological Gambling and Other Not Toxic Addictions Unit of Althaia, Xarxa Assistencial Universitària de Manresa. There are still few studies published on pathological gambling in women, as compared to the number of studies using male samples and literature on compulsive buying population in clinical and specifically in women is very limited. We wanted to delve into gender differences in terms of pathological gambling, taking the woman as a focus. In addition, we compare their socio-demographic characteristics of addictive behaviour and clinics with the woman with compulsive buying disorder. The research part of the thesis consists of a study published on pathological gambling comparing a sample of male players and female players with PG and a study pending to send to be published about PG comparing women with CBD; the results of the first study indicate that men and women with PG have the same socio-demographic features, differing in gambling behaviour. In a clinical level, it has also been observed that they present significantly more affective and personality disorders, as well as anxiety, compared to men. The results of this study are consistent with most publications on the subject, as well as the finding that in this study the telescope effect remains on hold. This phenomenon, in relation to the game, as observed previously in PG, the alcoholism and opiate addiction, consists on women initiating gambling later than men and so developing a faster progression of the disorder compared to men. In the second research study, women with CBD or PG are compared and a similar profile is found with regard to the age of onset of behavioural problem, to the years to develop addiction and to the age they ask for help. The same level of overall psychiatric comorbidity in women with CBD and PG is also noticed, although women with CBD present more mood disorder and anxiety and higher alcohol consumption, whether women with PG have more personality disorders and have a higher tobacco consumption. We believe that, these matching variables have possibly more to do with the fact of being a woman rather than the kind of addiction they have. However, it would be convenient to compare men and women with CBD in order to confirm it. Both the prevalence of women with PG as women with CBD who get specialized treatment, so they can address their addiction, is very low compared to the prevalence in the general population. On the other hand, there is a high comorbidity in psychiatric disorders of mood, anxiety, personality or substance use disorder. Behavioural addiction is often masked behind these disorders, risking to be overlooked by clinicians unless you ask specifically. We believe that this thesis provides information about woman with PG or CBD with the purpose of refining her detection, as well as more focused treatment programs to be implemented on the differential characteristics of women.

En aquest estudi, es fa referència inicialment al marc teòric que preveu el personatge. Des d'una perspectiva històrica, artística i social. Es fa un repàs del cinema anterior a la dècada d'estudi per establir unes bases del personatge, cosa que es fa en el cinema espanyol però també, i sense ànim d'exhaustivitat, en aquells cinemes que es consideren influents per aquest cinema. L1avors, es realitza una anàlisi exhaustiva del cinema espanyol des de l'any 1939 fins l'any 1951, fent recerca bibliogràfica, hemerogràfica i filmogràfica per tal de determinar els tipus de dona fatal existents en el període d'estudi. El objetivo es demostrar la existencia de la mujer fatal en el cine de los años cuarenta, en un periodo de férrea censura que parece no permitir la expresión de las artes si no es para beneficiar al régimen imperante. Al principio de este estudio, se hace referencia al marco teórico que prevé el personaje. Esto se realiza desde una perspectiva histórica, artística y social. Seguidamente, se hace un repaso del cine anterior a la década de estudio para establecer unas bases del personaje. Este breve repaso, sin ánimo de exhaustividad, se realiza en los cines que se consideran influyentes para el cine español; también se realiza en el cine español anterior a la década de estudio. Entonces, se realiza un análisis exhaustivo del cine español desde el año 1939 hasta el año 1951, realizando investigación bibliográfica, hemerográfica y filmográfica para determinar el tipo de mujer fatal existente en el periodo de estudio. Después de determinar los films contenedores del personaje, realizamos un análisis fílmico de las películas y un análisis en profundidad de los siete films que creemos que representan el corpus definido en nuestra investigación. De esta forma, llegamos a cumplir los objetivos que nos proponemos al empezar la investigación.
This Phd Thesis "The Fatal Woman in Spanish Cinema, 1939-1951", is a detailed study of the cinema character of the fatal woman, The main objective is to demonstrate that the fatal woman was present in the movies of the forties, in spite of the censorship to the artistic representations that seemed only to ease when it was useful to the dictatorship. To begin with, the study refers to the theoretical basis that previews the character. This is done through a historical, artistic and social prespective. Next, there is a summary of the previous cinema in order to establish the cinematic basis of the character. This brief summary, with no aim of exhaustivity, refers to those cinemas which influence Spanish cinema; it is also done for previous Spanish cinema which is mostly silent cinema. Then, an exhaustive analysis is realized of the Spanish cinema between 1939 and 1951. Research is done on bibliography, hemerography and filmography to determine the films which contain the character. After that, a deep analysis is done on 7 chosen films which the author takes as representative of the period of study. Therefore, we accomplish the objectives we established at the beginning of the research.

L-DOPA-induced dyskinesia is a common side effect developed after chronic treatment with 3,4-dihydroxyphenyl-L-alanine (L-DOPA) in Parkinson's disease. The biological mechanisms behind this side effect are not fully comprehended although involvement of dopaminergic, serotonergic, and glutamatergic systems has been suggested. The present study utilizes in vivo amperometry to investigate the impact from unilateral 6-hydroxydopamine lesions and L-DOPA (4 mg/kg, including benserazide 15 mg/kg) -induced dyskinetic behavior on striatal basal extracellular glutamate concentration and potassium-evoked glutamate release in urethane-anesthetized rats. Recordings were performed before and after local L-DOPA application in the striatum. In addition, effects from the 5-HT1A receptor agonist (2R)-(+)-8-hydroxy-2-(di-n-propylamino)tetralin hydrobromide (8-OHDPAT; 1 mg/kg) was assessed on glutamate release and on dyskinetic behavior. The results revealed a bilateral similar to 30% reduction of basal extracellular glutamate concentration and attenuated potassium-evoked glutamate release after a unilateral dopamine-depletion in L-DOPA naive animals. In dyskinetic subjects, basal glutamate concentration was comparable to normal controls, although potassium-evoked glutamate release was reduced to similar levels as in drug naive dopamine-lesioned animals. Furthermore, acute striatal L-DOPA administration attenuated glutamate release in all groups, except in the dopamine-lesioned striatum of dyskinetic animals. Co-administration of 8-OHDPAT and L-DOPA decreased dyskinesia in dopamine-lesioned animals, but did not affect potassium-evoked glutamate release, which was seen in normal animals. These findings indicate altered glutamate transmission upon dopamine-depletion and dyskinesia.

This study examines the potential for increasing natural L-DOPA drug biosynthesis in Mucuna pruriens by silencing or “knocking down” expression of putative DOPA/tyrosine decarboxylase (Mp-ty/ddc) in situ. Mp-ty/ddc codes for DOPA/tyrosine decarboxylase (Mp-TY/DDC) which converts L-DOPA to dopamine in plants. The hypothesis of the work was that silencing the Mp-ty/ddc gene would result in accumulation of L-DOPA in the plant tissues. This work involved isolation and characterisation of 1.73 kb putative full-length ORF of Mp-ty/ddc. The gene showed 74% homology with TY/DDC protein alignments of other plants in the same taxa, although no enzyme activity was detected when the gene product was heterologously expressed. In addition, a protocol was developed for Agrobacterium mediated transformation of M. pruriens so as to be able to manipulate expression of the DOPA genes in situ. The cotyledonary nodal and hypocotyl tip explants regenerated shoots on M.S media supplemented with 50 μM BA, 0.5 μM NAA and 50 mg l-1 kanamycin selection also the nptII transgene was detected by PCR. The Agrobacteria strains GV3101 harbouring a pGREEN vector and carrying an Mp-ty/ddc antisense were used for the plant transformation experiments. Further work showed that the Mp-ty/ddc gene copy number was 1, the gene expression was highest in roots and stems, followed by seeds and was very low in leaves. On the other hand, L-DOPA-content in seeds was 17-fold higher relative to leaves and 15 fold relative to stems and roots.

This research places itself as a study of video game media, through the game Dota 2, working on the rapprochement between game studies and communication studies. This work starts from the ideia that the study of media consolidates itself in the study of the transformations, new speed and deployment that the media imply to the life of the individuals, stipulating new ways of interaction and communication. Here we aim to explore which characteristics of video game media contributes and assists on the construction of communication dynamics through the community of the game. The work is divided in three moments, on the first we gather some concepts and ideas already discussed about communication, media, video games and communities; next we go to the description of the object of analysis, the game Dota 2, dissecting it in order to expose all its workable resources and characteristics; lastly, we go to the analysis of those elements utilizing the biases, concepts and methods gathered, with the intention that the discussion provides information about the paths and actions that the media has that stipulates the such dynamics.
Este trabalho se coloca como um estudo da mídia do videogame, através do game Dota 2, trabalhando na aproximação dos estudos sobre jogos e games com os estudos em comunicação. O trabalho parte da ideia de que o estudo das mídias se consolida no estudo das transformações, velocidades e desdobramentos que as mídias implicam à vida dos indivíduos, estipulando novas formas de interação e comunicação. Aqui, procura-se explorar quais características da mídia do videogame contribuem e auxiliam na construção de dinâmicas comunicacionais junto à comunidade do game. O trabalho é dividido em três momentos, onde primeiro se levantam os conceitos e ideias discutidos sobre comunicação, mídia, videogame e comunidade; em seguida parte-se para uma descrição do objeto de análise, o game Dota 2, dissecando-o com o intuito de expor todos seus recursos e características trabalháveis; por fim, parte-se para a análise de tais elementos se utilizando dos vieses, conceitos e metodologias levantados, com o intuito de que as discussões apresentadas forneçam informações sobre os caminhos e ações que a mídia possui para estipular tais dinâmicas.

Dora Ferreira da Silva, a poet from S?o Paulo, has a vast work: nine books published during her lifetime, three works published posthumously, in addition to her respected work as an essayist and translator. She received the Jabuti Award three times and one time the Machado de Assis Award, promoted by the Academia Brasileira de Letras. This research comes to revitalize the concept of the sacred and its developments in a corpus of nine poems of the poet, through the understanding of studies that aims the Theories of the Sacred, from Rudolf Otto, Mircea Eliade, Jacques Wunenburger and Joseph Campbell, the Theory of the Imaginary of Gilbert Durand and Gaston Bachelard, the Analytical Psychology of Carl Gustav Jung - which Dora was one of the translators -, and the Theories of Literature of Octavio Paz and Northop Frye. The literary work recreates the symbolism of sacred manifestations, giving them a new perspective related to the subject of the unconscious. This dissertation points to the fascination that the issues relating to the sacred creates within the poetic activity that links to the archetypal richness of ancient myths and their rites, and so for these artistic hierophanies establishes a dialogue with the unknowable and ineffable of the human experience. The writer herself says in an interview: "Giving the little that you have, be true to your inner voice, it is what is asked from poets in an attempt to meet this need of the gods".

RNDr. Jan Kotek, Ph.D. Supervisor's email: modrej@natur.cuni.cz Abstract: The aim of this thesis was to synthesize macrocyclic ligands (based on the DO3A and DO2A framework) with exchangeable protons on the aminic coordinating groups that could be (after the complexation with suitable paramagnetic metal ions) potential contrast agents based on saturation transfer, so called CEST contrast agents (Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer). Two ligands H3L1 and H2L2 with one and two aminoethyl groups have been synthesized. The structurally similar ligands H3L1 Me and H3L1 2Me with one exchangeable proton and without it have been also prepared. The protonation constants of the ligands H3L1 and H2L2 have been determined by pH 1 H NMR and potentiometric titrations. The stability constants of metal ion complexes with H3L1 and H2L2 have been also determined by potentiometry. The CEST effect of Eu3+ and Yb3+ complexes with H3L1 , H3L1 Me and H3L1 2Me in solution have been studied. Working hours The aim of this thesis that I set was a comprehensive analysis of the working hours issue. The main purpose was to summarize this area of labor law while taking into account the Labour Code amendment which came into force on 1st January 2012. The changes in the related legal terms were also included into this thesis because of the mentioned changes. The thesis is composed of three chapters. Chapter One deals briefly with history of Labour Law and regulatory development. Author`s intention was to outline the process which led to the current form of working hours regulation. Chapter Two focuses on contemporary working hours regulation contained in the Law no. 262/2006 of the Statute book - the Labour Code. The author describes legislative amount of working hours and schedules of working hours. Chapter Two is subdivided into seven parts which focus on related legal terms such as time of rest, overtime work, night work and standby duty. The last Chapter concentrates on contemporary progress on the field of working hours regulation which was influenced by the negative impacts of economic situation.
