Abstract:
SAR Interferometry (InSAR) is a technique to measure land subsidence and can build a subsidence map on a large spatial scale with high accuracy. The study presented the application of PSInSAR for determining the subsidence of the central area of Hanoi through Terrasar-X data set from 2010 to 2015, with 23 images. The result shows that some area has the high subsidence in the districts of Hanoi such as Hoang Mai, Ha Dong and the slow subsidence such as Dong Da, Hai Ba Trung with subsidence velocity is less than -10mm/year. Besides, the correlation between ground subsidence measured by PSInSAR and subsidence monitoring of building CC02 Van Quan in Ha Dong district for the same period was computed with a correlation coefficient (R2) of 0.94. The PSInSAR technique can detect and estimate subsidence phenomena effectively with X-band.1.

Abstract:
Acinetobacter spp. are common pathogenic bacteria. The Acinetobacter genus includes 65 species, of which the Acinetobacter calcoaceticus-Acinetobacter baumannii complex group has been identified as the cause of more than 80% of hospital infections in immunocompromised patients. Existing phenotypic techniques are not sufficient to accurately identify and distinguish clinically important Acinetobacter spp. 288 (60%, n = 480) of ready-to-eat vegetable and meat samples collected from ready-to-eat shops contaminated with Acinetobacter spp in 6 districts in Hanoi, including Dong Da, Hoang Mai, Hai Ba Trung, Long Bien, Ha Dong, and Cau Giay. The results of identification by MALDI-TOF MS technique recorded 208 (43%, n = 480) of samples contaminated with Acinetobacter calcoaceticus-Acinetobacter baumannii complex, of which 156 (65%, n = 240) of vegetable and 52 (22%, n = 240) of meat samples. Antibiotic susceptibility tests using antibiotic paper strips showed that 82% of Acinetobacter calcoaceticus-Acinetobacter baumannii complex strains were resistant to imipenem and 30% of the complex was resistant to meropenem.

Abstract:
This study was conducted to estimate the prevalence of Salmonella on chicken carcasses collected from six regions in Vietnam. A total of 1,000 whole, dressed chicken carcasses were collected from five cities and seven provinces across the six regions in Vietnam. Of these, 900 samples were collected from wet markets and 100 from supermarkets. All samples were analyzed for the presence of Salmonella according to a method recommended by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food Safety and Inspection Service. The overall Salmonella prevalence was 45.9%. There was no significant difference (P > 0.05) in Salmonella prevalence by (i) location (Ha Noi city, 51.1%; Hai Phong city, 45.6%; Da Nang and Can Tho cities, 45.5%; Bac Ninh province and Ho Chi Minh city, 44.7%; Dong Nai province, 44.6%; Ha Tinh province, 44.4%; Phu Tho province, 43.8%; Lao Cai province, 43.5%; Kien Giang province, 41.9%; and Lam Dong province, 40.9%), (ii) market type (wet market, 46.2%; supermarket samples, 43.0%), and (iii) storage temperature at retail (ambient storage, 46.4%; chilled storage, 45.1%). Hence, Salmonella presence on poultry meat in Vietnam was not associated with a specific city or province, market type, or storage temperature at retail. Strategies to reduce Salmonella levels on raw poultry in Vietnam should be undertaken to improve the safety of poultry products and reduce the incidence of human salmonellosis from poultry consumption.

Abstract:
This study examines the impacts of social media advertisements on consumers' behaviors shopping for jewelry products in Vietnam. The theory of planned behavior (TPB) and the technology adoption model (TAM) is used to build this research model. Social media advertisements include brand reputation, information, entertainment, distractions, interactivity, value, and trustworthiness inherited from previous research. The official research sample includes individuals living in the ten richest provinces and cities in Vietnam (i.e.: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria Vung Tau, Bac Ninh, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Khanh Hoa, Da Nang) with a sample size of 227 respondents. The research results show that social media advertisement factors have an impact on consumers' attitudes and behaviors. The results also show that there are differences in behavior due to the influence of demographic factors.

Abstract:
This study employs a Bayes model to examine the impact of income groups on the Nursing home usage costs across 10 provinces and cities in Vietnam: Ha Noi, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Nam Dinh, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Dong Nai, and Binh Duong. The study utilizes 8 variables: Average population (DSTB), Average income (TNTB), Income group 1 (TN1), Income group 2 (TN2), Income group 3 (IG3), Income group 4 (TN4), Income group 5 (TN5), Cost of using nursing home (CP), with data collected annually from 2012 to 2022. The results indicate that major cities attract larger populations and a higher proportion of elderly individuals, thus attracting more investment in various forms of nursing homes, thereby improving their competitiveness. Among income groups of residents in provinces and cities, income group 5 has the highest income and shows a positive correlation with cost of using nursing home, which aligns well with reality. In recent years, affluent families have shown a preference for high-end nursing homes offering the best care services, albeit at higher costs than standard ones. However, fundamentally, Vietnamese individuals have not prioritized the choice of living in nursing homes during their elderly years. Research results show that it is necessary to focus on the quality of nursing home services because of increasing demand and the aging population trend of Vietnam in the future.

Abstract:
This study describes the current implementation of the Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) standards by a number of selected pharmacies in Ha Dong, Hanoi in 2018. Staff members of the selected pharmacies were interviewed using the questions developed based on the GPP standards. The analysis of the interview results shows that by qualification, the interviewed pharmacists fell into three groups: intermediate diploma, associate’s diploma and bachelor’s degree, accounting for 43.23%, 54.23% and 2.54%, respectively. All the studied pharmacies fully fulfilled the GPP requirements in terms of equipment for and arrangement of their functional areas. 74.58% of the pharmacies had their own drug stores; 11.86% of them practiced computerized business management. A hundred percent of the executive pharmacists well fulfilled their job duties, which guaranteed the availability of 100% of drug transactions for electronic search. However, 90.68% of the investigated pharmacies let their pharmacists make changes to prescriptions. As a concluding remark, although the selected pharmacies in Ha Dong district met the general GPP standards, the maintenance of the standards implementation, consultant pharmacist qualification and computerized management still need further improvement. Abstract:
English is one of the most vital and necessary tools for people’s successes in many aspects of life. Therefore, building good ways to develop English skills in students is an urgent demand. Organizing English-Vietnamese bilingual lesson is interpreted as educational method in which a foreign language enrichment measure packaged into content teaching, so it is one of the effective ways to improve this skill for students. By investigating 457 students and 27 high school biology teachers in An Giang province, the study pointed out two issues of the reality of using English in biology teaching in high schools: (1) Teachers have rarely used English in teaching activities, (2) Students’ English ability has been really weak. The study has built up the processes of organizing an English-Vietnamese bilingual lesson. The paper demonstrated that high school students’ English ability and qualification has been improved by using these proposed processes.
