Abstract:
The great reforms of Alexander II contributed to the development of a network of state and non-state bank-ing institutions. Non-state credit organizations such as commercial banks not only lent to different sectors of the domestic economy, but also brought financial dividends to the holders of their shares. Commercial banks played the role of intermediaries between persons with free capital and citizens of the Russian Empire who needed additional financial resources. The activities of private bank institutions were aimed at supporting the people of the Russian Empire by providing various banking services. The author explores the activities of commercial banks in the context of the development of capitalist relations in the reformed Russia. The activity of lending to the Don population by central and local commercial banks is considered separately. On the basis of statistical materials, it describes the operations of the Azov-Don commercial bank. The organizational structure of the Azov-Don commercial bank is investigated. Its activity is considered as financial discount, issue of loans and reception of deposits.

Abstract:
The article investigates foundations of work and functions of the Bukhara branch of the Azov-Don commercial bank. In soviet historiography banks were considered as colonialism tools (both Western and Russian). On the basis of archive data the author proves that finance institutions of the Russian Empire took into account the local specificity and stimulated production of export-oriented goods. The author uses inter-bank correspondence, annual reports of the branch director and materials of the Bukhara branch audit. For the first time active and passive bank transactions were researched, expenses and incomes of the bank were analyzed and personnel of the bank was studied. The author, in contrast to soviet and post-soviet researchers thinks that banks were not monopolists in economy of the Middle East. The Azov-Don bank had got a broad network of branches (4 branches) in the Middle East region. It tried to take in hand the export of cotton and fruit but could not become a monopolist in economic life of Turkestan. The principle cause of ‘failure’ according to the author was the adjustment of the bank to real economic relations in the Turkestan Governorship-General and khanates. Modernization of Central Asia economy, according to banks implied financing of export crops and intermediary between the metropolitan country and periphery. ‘Colonial’ periphery seemed to be an appealing field for investment and super-profit, but speculative nature of Turkestan economy stopped banks’ development. As a result economic modernization of the Middle East slowed down and opened the way to the soviet experiment.

Abstract:
The defeat in the Crimean War, the devastated post-war national economy and the recession in the economy cast great doubt on the future of the Russian Empire as a European power. Overcoming of the technological and military-technical lag of Russia from the leading European powers, the Tzarist government saw in the development of the banking system as well. Modernization in the financial sector contributed to the emergence of the State Bank, which carried out various accounting and loan operations to support different categories of the population. In the Don region lending to sectors of the local economy was carried out by the Rostov office of the State Bank. The economic specificity of the Don Cossack Army Region caused lending primarily to representatives of the peasant population, traders and companies selling grain crops. The author examines the functioning of commercial banks in the framework of the development of capitalist relations in the Don Cossack Army Region and Russia as a whole. Separately, he outlines the influence of state banks on the formation of domestic mortgage lending in the post-reform period. The activity of small credit institutions and inter-credit societies to the accounting of bills, the issuance of loans and the reception, and storage of deposits is considered. The influence of the Rostov City Public Bank on the Don economy is investigated.

Abstract:
Nowadays there are 72 sites of the Neolithic Middle-Don Culture. Ceramic vessels are ornamented mostly using triangular pricks. These settlements are located on the banks of the rivers Voronezh and Don in their lower reaches. Not far from the town of Dobroe, a concentration of Neolithic settlements was found. Three of them contained Early Neolithic pottery of the Middle-Don Culture (6th millennium BC). For the first time on the settlement Dobroe 9 a cultural layer was found in situ. Due to the discovery of the assemblage of pottery and stone and bone tools, new excavations allowed us to characterise the material culture of the ancient population of the Upper Don in a new way.

The article considers the state of banking business in the 12 largest Russian cities (after Moscow and St. Petersburg) in the beginning of 2006. The analysis is based on statistical data that depicts activity of resident as well as non-resident credit corporations in every city. Our research shows that there are two leading cities, namely Yekaterinburg and Kazan, with different strategies: "strong banks - open market" in the first case and "strong banks - partly closed market" in the second one. Other most successful banking centers (Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod and Samara) develop mainly in line with "the Yekaterinburg model", not that of Kazan.

This article traces the development of the EMS VCS3 synthesiser from the inception of its precursor, the Don Banks Music Box, through its prototype to its commercial release. The nature of the design team and their technical and aesthetic choices are also discussed. The VCS3 is significant in that it was the first commercial European synthesiser and the team that created it – Tristram Cary, David Cockerell and Peter Zinovieff – were key figures in the development of British electronic music. This detailed study of the genesis of the VCS3 and some of the factors that influenced its design touches on many technical and historiographical strands that may be examined in more depth by future scholars.

Abstract:
Income diversification is one of the Bank's strategies to earn income. Non-Interest Income is the alternative to absorb income other than Net Interest Income. However, the level of Non-Interest Income of Commercial Banks in Indonesia is still at an average of 20%. Based on this problem, the study aimed to analyze the effect of Income Diversification, Non-Interest Income, and determination of Non-Interest Income which is Fee Commissions Income And Trading Income on the performance of Commercial Banks in Indonesia listed in the Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) period of 2014 – 2018. The condition of Commercial Bank’s stakeholders in Indonesia also changes because of raised number of mergers and acquisition that occur in Indonesian banks. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the state-owned ownership and foreign ownership in moderating the effect of Income Diversification and Non-Interest Income on Commercial Banks’ performance in Indonesia listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) period of 2014-2018. The results of this study indicate that Income Diversification, Non-Interest Income, and Fee Commissions Income have positive and significant effect on the Bank's performance. Banks with state-owned ownership has a negative and significant influence in moderating the effect of Income Diversification and Non-Interest Income on ROA. Meanwhile, Banks with foreign ownership has a positive and significant effect on the Bank’s performance.

Abstract:
Introduction. The Russian-Turkish war of 1806–1812 was the longest military conflict between Russia and Turkey. In the hope to force the Turks to peace, Russian troops crossed the Danube several times and fought for key fortresses on its banks. One of the battles on the right Bank of the Danube in 1809 was won practically by the Don Cossacks alone. In this battle Russian troops were led by such famous military leaders as Bagration, Miloradovich, Platov. After this battle Miloradovich and Platov were promoted to “full generals” (general in chief). Methods and materials. This battle is also interesting because the state archive of Rostov region has a very detailed collection of documents about it. Of all the documents relating to this war, the greatest number refers to the battle of September 4, 1809, because after it Don ataman Platov received his highest rank. The purpose of this study is to identify reasons for such an unusual victory. Analysis and results. The author investigates the course of the battle in detail using archival materials. The study shows that Russian forces were twice as superior to Turkish ones; during the battle, the command made a number of mistakes, which did not allow to completely surround the Turkish troops. High awards received by the command for this battle did not quite correspond to the level of success. The Russian commanders had friends at court and this partly affected the awards.

Abstract:
Traditionally the Early Neolithic of the Upper Don was associated the Middle Don culture (Sinyuk, 1986), but recent researches of the following sites - Karamyshevo 5, 9; Vasilyevsky Kordon 5, 7; Ivnitsa etc. have afforded ground for attributing the Early Neolithic of the Upper Don to Karamyshevo culture. This article analyzes the finds of Karamyshevo culture from 26 sites located in the basin of the Voronezh river. Those collections have all the grounds to be included into Early Neolithic antiquities as they have gone through radiocarbon dating and their chronological position correlates with the data of Elshan, Upper Volga and other Early Neolithic Cultures. In terms of location some Karamyshevo sites can be singled out: - in the Upper Voronezh region near the settlements of Preobrazhenovka and Dobroye in Lipetsk region in the right-bank flood plain of the river on the buttes of terraces above the flood-plain and leveed banks (Vasilyevsky Kordon 3, 5, 7, 25, Ratchino 22, Dobroye 1, Studenovka 3); - in the Middle Voronezh region round Lipetsk and near the settlement of Karamyshevo in Lipetsk region in the flood plain of the river on the buttes of terraces above the flood-plain (Lipetskoye Ozero, Shlyuz, Gudovsky Kordon, Krasny Bugor, Karamyshevo 1, 5, 9, 19 etc.) - in the Lower river region on the border of Lipetsk and Voronezh regions in the left-bank flood plain of the Voronezh river on the buttes of terraces above the flood-plain (Savitskoye 1, Kurino 1, Ivnitsa, Stupino) The sites of Karamyshevo culture show some typical features which are characteristic of the Upper Don region - few stone implements, so the main distinguishing feature of those antiquities is pottery according to its finish and decoration. This pottery has lumpy paste which visually consists of natural inclusions or chamotte in rare cases. More recent pottery finds have sanded paste without visible inclusions which is similar to that of the Middle Don culture. According to the method of finishing the pottery is divided into two groups: thouroughly smoothed and burnished on the outer surface pottery and smoothed one with scratches which seems to be a definite chronological marker. According to their shape the vessels are divided into straight-walled and biconical with a straight or shaped rim and mainly with a pointed bottom. The larger part of Karamyshevo pottery is plain. So among 500 pottery finds from Ivnitsa site 62% of those materials is plain, about 20% is decorated with oval, triangle and paired strokes, 11% is decorated with a short-pitch stamp, 21 finds have thin and shallow lines on the surface and 10 finds are decorated with pits. Here we can speak about a relatively early stage of the site as later sites (Karamyshevo 9, Vasilyevsky Kordon 7) have more decorated pottery. The appearance of pit-like and comb decorations is connected with the final stage of this culture. For dating of Karamyshevo culture we have the dates of the beginning of the Vth century B.C. - the first half of the IVth century B.C. (ВР). On the basis of the above-stated data we can come to a conclusion that at the end of the IVth century B.C. the first pottery complexes appeared in the forest-steppe and forest zones of Eastern Europe and they had a number of common features which specifically formed the basis of local cultures that we single out today and which existed in the Vth century B.C. Such cultures include Karamyshevo culture which sites might have dated back to the first half of the IVth century B.C.

Abstract:
Brittle willow (Salix fragilis L.) is widespread in the floodplain of the Don River with flowing groundwater. It forms stands on the bulging banks of the meander on the floodplain allyuvial--turf layered sand and sandy loam soil, as well as in central and on the terrace floodplain on floodplain alluvial-turf layered clay-sandy soil. Floodplains with groundwater (in low water) closer than 2 meters are unsuitable for brittle willow. Inspection of brittle willow stands was made in August 2008 at the Woodland of the Davydov forestry of the Voronezh region. Test plots are located in the most characteristic for the growth of brittle willow elements of the floodplain of the Don. Stands of coppice origin are mostly old-growth, low-quality class (IV-V). Significant signs of weakening do not have only stands up to the age of 20 years. Already by the age of 25 willow groves are weakened, from 30 to 45 years greatly weakened, and from the age of 50 they dry out. The highest increase in the current stock of stem wood is marked up to 25 years of age stands (3.8-3.9 cubic meters per hectare per year), after which the pace of growth has slowed. From the age of 30 there is a significant deterioration in the health of the tree stand and a significant reduction in the rate of growth on the trunk of the stock wood. In stands older than 50 years, more than 70% of stocks fell on the shrink and dead trees. With 55 years the value of natural mortality exceeds biomass accumulation and reaches 4.0 cubic meters per hectare per year to 65 years of age. At the same age and equal fullness, growing in the central floodplain are more productive stands. Predominance in the floodplain of the Don of old-growth stands of willow determines the need for their rejuvenation. Materials may outlined in this paper may be used in the design of thinning, sanitary felling and reforestation.

Abstract:
AbstractThis article studies the famine of 1921–1922 and 1932–1933 in the Southern Russian regions. Famine as a socio-historical phenomenon is considered in the context of the relationship of state power, the Cossacks, and the Church. The authors reveal the general and special features of the famine emergence and analyze the differences in the state policies of 1921–1922 and 1932–1933. Considerable attention is paid to the survival strategies of the Don, Kuban and Terek populations. Slaughtering and eating draft animals, transfer from the state places of work to the private campaigns and cooperatives, moving to shores and banks, and eating river and sea food became widespread methods of overcoming famine. Asocial survival strategies included cannibalism, abuse of powers, bribery, and more. In 1921–1922, the Russian Orthodox Church fought actively against the famine. In 1932–1933, the Church was weakened and could not provide significant assistance to the starving population. The article was written based on declassified documents from the state and departmental archives, including criminal investigations and analytical materials of the Obedinjonnoe gosudarstvennoe politicheskoe upravlenie [Joint State Political Directorate] (OGPU) recording the attitudes of minds. Also used are personal stories—namely, interviews with eyewitnesses of the famine of 1932–1933, recorded by the Kuban folklorists in the territory of the Krasnodar and Stavropol Krai.

Abstract:
The biodiversity of the Vitaceae Juss family is studied with more interest than before, but still not fully according to the current scientific literature. For example, indigenous varieties and wild forms of grapes are known in the Crimea, Dagestan, along the banks of the Don and in other regions, but there is practically no data about wild and autochthonic grapes in the Kuban. This work presents new data about wild grapes studied in the Krasnodar region in the forests of the “Red forest” reserve. The ecological and geographical conditions of their growth are studied in detail. The description of plant community where the studied plant forms grow is conducted. Isolated populations of wild grapes, presumably belonging to the species of Vitis vinifera ssp. silvestris Gmel. or its varieties - var. Tipica Negr. (typical wild forest grapes) were ampelographically studied. Samples were taken for further genetic analysis to identify the origin of these forms and identify promising donors of resistance to various environmental stressors for use in the breeding process.

Abstract:
The article is dedicated to the problem of the origin of the Swedes tribe against the background of Indo-European ethnogenesis in comparison with the Rus tribe, which were formed on the basis of territorial and pagan proximity to a relatively single ethnic group and a super-language (koine) on the Don. The study is based on the mythological material of the Ynglinga saga and the Book of Veles, lexicographic, toponymic features of the indicated tribes, in which the roots of the ethnic groups stand out. The latter is confirmed in Finnish names regarding the country of Sweden, which the Finns call Ruotsi, Ruossi, Ruohti, Ruotti, the Votes – Rôtsi, the Estonians – Rôťs, on the other hand, the name of the country Sweden has the ancient forms of Swes, Sues, Swēorice “Kingdom of the Swedes” and modern with the meaning “Sweden”: Icelandic Svíþjóð, Swedish Sverige. The origin of the Slavic and German ethnic groups occurred during the period of cohabitation of these peoples in the Indo-European proto-ethnics on the banks of the Don River, approximately in the second millennium BC. These origins include the origin of Indo-European root of kweruki, which the names of the ethnic groups are evolved from: * kweruχi (palatalization)> rusi> rusy “Rus” and * kwеruki ~ * ruti (substitution)> fin. ruotsi “swedes”. The Indo-European root of *kwa in the meaning of “Universe, God” is the origin of Germanic *sve- / swe-, which gave birth to the names of Suionen (Tacitus), Swēorice “Kingdom of the Swedes” and Swerikl, Swealand, Swithiod, as well as Latin Svedia, Svecia, Sveonia with the meaning “Sweden”. The above is proved by the presence of the common goddess Mother-SVA (Slavs) and Moder Svea (Swedes).

Abstract:
A bank is a financial institution whose existence depends absolutely on the trust of its customers who entrust their savings funds. Banks are very concerned that the trust of the public, who have and who will save their funds, are well-maintained, considering that the bank is part of the financial system and payment system. Bank secrecy is very important because banks need the trust of the people who keep their money in the bank. The customer only entrusts his money to the bank or makes use of the bank's services if the bank provides a guarantee that the bank's knowledge of deposits and the state of their assets will not be misused. The legal relationship between the bank and the depository customer starts from the signing of a written agreement (contractual relationship) between the bank and the customer which contains the rights and obligations for each party. As for the form of agreement for depositing funds between the customer and the bank, it is called a deposit agreement (Article 1319 Civil Code). In a deposit agreement, the bank sets certain general requirements in a deposit account or savings account, among others, the recipient of the deposit (bank) can use the depositors' money and at a certain time the bank will provide interest. Other provisions that can be used as the basis of relations between banks and depositors are Proxy Giving. Depositors give their power to banks when signing deposit accounts or savings accounts or bank accounts. This agreement becomes a law or law for both parties (Article 1338 of the Civil Code). As a manifestation of the bank's responsibility for depositing customers, banks must pay attention to the 4 (four) pillars of the relationship between depositors and banks, namely: Prudence, Health, Bank Secrets and Trust

This study examines the impact of intellectual capital and corporate governance mechanism on banks’ performance both directly and also moderated effect. We used banks that were listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The bank’s performance was measured by risk-based bank rating while intellectual capital was measured by the coefficient of VAICTM (Pulic, 1998). The corporate governance mechanism was measured based on the size of boards of directors, the composition of independent director, CEO remuneration, managerial ownership, the effectiveness of audit committee and ownership concentration. The result of the study shows that banks’ performance was positively influenced by intellectual capital. However, corporate governance mechanism did not influence the banks’ performance, while the moderation effect of corporate governance mechanism on the relationship between intellectual capital and banks’ performance was not confirmed.

Abstract:
The population of the country of Kenya is drastically increasing thus causing the number of possible blood donors to rise. Despite this, the blood collected and stored in most blood banks is not enough to cater for the huge demand. The demand has been due to increase of number of accidents experienced in the country and the advancement in medical procedures which calls for organ transplant and blood transfusion. Even though systems have been developed which can connect the donors and recipients and location tracking, most people are dying because they don`t get this vital commodity in good time. The process of donating blood has not been enticing. There is nothing that prompts a person to donate blood. This call for developing a gamified blood donor management system based on intelligent agents so as to increase the number of donors and keep the system performance at optimal level. The project adopts Goal-Oriented Methodology in the system development process. Two agents are developed: donors’ agent and the blood admin agent. The intelligent agents help in profiles personalization thus improving the system performance. Gamification technique is implemented in the system so as to increase the traffic of blood donors interacting with the system and participating in the donation exercise. This increase the number of blood donors hence enough blood is collected to cater for the huge demand.

Abstract:
To extend present knowledge of communities of wood decay fungi in native forests, basidiomycetes and ascomycetes were isolated from within 15 fallen stems in beech (Nothofagus, Nothofagaceae) forests in the South Island of New Zealand. Fungal species were identified as precisely as possible using traditional culturing and molecular approaches. The internal distribution of species within stems was determined. Common fungi that occupied significant portions of stems were Ganoderma applanatum sensu Wakefield, Australoporus tasmanicus, Inonotus nothofagi, Pleurotus purpureo-olivaceus, and an unidentified hymenochaetaceous species. Richness and diversity of basidiomycete species were greater in stems of red beech (Nothofagus fusca (Hook. f.) Oerst.) and silver beech (Nothofagus menziesii (Hook. f.) Oerst.) than in those of matai (Prumnopitys taxifolia (Banks & Sol. ex D. Don) de Laub.; Podocarpaceae) and tawa (Beilschmiedia tawa (A. Cunn.) Kirk; Lauraceae), as determined from earlier studies in podocarp hardwood and beech indigenous forests. There was greater similarity in the species composition of basidiomycete fungi colonising the three beech species compared with those colonising rimu (Dacrydium cupressinum Sol. ex Lamb.; Podocarpaceae), tawa, and matai. Based on observations in this study and on international research on the effects of selective logging on basidiomycete biodiversity, the decision to restrict to 50% the extraction of wood following storm damage in beech forests on the West Coast of the South Island appears to have been appropriate.

The main objective of this paper is to give an overview of comparative financial performance of Islamic banks with conventional banks based on the CAMEL method. The main question would be answered to know there is difference in the performance of conventional banking and Islamic banking are analyzed by using the ratio CAMEL. To prove the hypothesis that there is no significant difference between the bank's financial performance Islamic and conventional banks (Ho) or there are significant differences between the financial performance of Islamic banks and conventional banks (Hi). Researchers used a parametric statistical technique, which consists of test data normality using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test and QQ plots, test of homogeneity using the F test (Levene's Test), and Independent Sample T-Test with significant value 5% confidence level (1 - α) = 95%. The results showed that the ratio of data CAMEL Islamic banks and conventional banks in normal distribution and homogeneous. Then it can be concluded that the variable CAR, NPL, and LDR between conventional banks and Islamic banks have significant differences, while the ROA and ROE of the two types of banking industry is not significantly different or relatively the same.

The blow was struck on the northern flank of the 62nd Army, centered in the area of the Stalingrad Tractor Plant, which was defended by the 112th Rifle Division, the 95th Rifle Division, and the 37th Guards Rifle Division. After heavy fighting, the 37th Rifle Division was defeated, the 95th Rifle Division, drained of blood, retreated south to a neighboring factory, the remnants of the 112th Rifle Division were divided into separate resistance groups. Lieutenant Alexei Ochkin gathered the remaining fighters from different units, about 60 people in total, and took command of the group. For about a week they kept the defense on the banks of the Volga. When the replenishment approached, only 6 people remained from the detachment. The feat of this group went unnoticed. The author of the article is trying to understand why this happened and what was the fate of the remaining fighters from the "57 Immortals".

Abstract:
Macroeconomic factors can be said to have a relationship with the financial performance of banks, both conventional banks and Islamic banks. The condition of the banking sector in East Java is very vulnerable to economic shocks that occur. So it requires a very independent and good liquidity management. The existing banking sector is still very dependent on the policies made by the central bank and the government. Then if there is a financial difficulty caused by unfavorable macroeconomic conditions, then the bank's financial performance may also be disrupted. Based on the analysis of data that has been explained that macroeconomic factors such as GRDP, inflation rate, unemployment rate, BI Rate and exchange rate, which have a very large relationship to the performance of conventional banks and Islamic banks in East Java is the BI rate. This shows that the banking sector in East Java must pay special attention to the dynamics of macroeconomic factors that occur. Whereas the financial performance between Islamic banks and conventional banks shows a difference. This is because the management of bank financial performance between Islamic banks and conventional banks has a different policy.

Data is based on financial statements published by the companies and Central Bank of Indonesia in 1995-1996, and 2003-2004. Two sample of banks have been selected based on several criteria, they are BCA and Bank Niaga. To analyse their financial performance, several analysis tools will be using, specifically CAMELS (CAR, NPL, NIM, BOPO, LDR minus mangement and sensitivity). The result of the study observed that after being acquired, financial performance of BCA and Niaga Bank is getting better in CAR, NIM, BOPO, but NPL and LDR is less favorable for BCA and so NPL is less favorable for Niaga Bank. Moreover, in terms of profitability analysis, both banks shows better performance. While, the result of credit analysis indicates that the credit risk for both banks is in the stable range at CCC.

Abstract:
Managing bank’s operational risks becoming an important feature of sound risk management practice in modern financial markets. The most important types of operational risk involve breakdown in internal controls and corporate governance, which could lead to financial losses through fraud, error or failure to perform. Development of statistic has accelarated banks to create internal operational risk models in different ways. Although those models created in different ways, they surely use the pattern of risk management that is developed by Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. Basel Committee on Banking Supervision has proposed three increasingly sophisticated approaches of operational risk, i.e basic indicator approach, standardized approach and advanced measurement approach. Applying those approaches will help banks to eliminate the operational risk, that will lead them to a better intermediation process.

This research uses a quantitative approach. The analysis technique uses Panel Least Square processed by Eviews 8. We find that the Islamic bank’s profitability is affected by operational efficiency. Nevertheless, the capital factor, asset quality, and liquidity have no impact on the Islamic bank’s profitability. In addition, the evidence shows that the bank’s fund has not been maximized to financing.

Abstract:
This article examines Feodor Chaliapin’s guest performances in Budapest. The famous singer visited Hungary altogether eight times over ten years, playing the roles of Mephisto (Faust), Basilio (The Barber of Seville), and Don Quixote in the opera, as well as giving individual concerts. His performances were considered the most outstanding events during the opera and theatre season, taking place before full houses, the boxes being filled with representatives of the Hungarian elite, political actors, businessmen, writers, and actors. The Hungarian press followed Сhaliapin everywhere, correspondents tried to inform readers about each and every moment of his stay in Hungary, and he obliged journalists — that problematic group — with great patience and professionalism by never declining an interview. Prestigious critics and musicologists (including Aladár Tóth, Emil Haraszti, and Dezső Szomory) wrote laudatory commentaries on Сhaliapin’s performances on the pages of Hungarian journals and newspapers. They all praised his talent, creative power, amazing bass, and charm as well as his ability to win the hearts of the audience from the very first moment. Hungarian people regarded Сhaliapin not only as the king of the opera, but also as the embodiment of Russia and Russian culture. Сhaliapin used his tournees to Budapest to get acquainted with the Hungarian capital; he visited the most famous sights of the city (he especially loved walking on the banks of the Danube) and he enjoyed spending his time eating out in restaurants and bars while listening to Hungarian gypsy music. Journal articles enable us to reconstruct this somewhat forgotten episode in Russian-Hungarian cultural relations.

Abstract:
Banking performance has decreased on average in terms of credit quality, liquidity, ability to generate net interest income, and profitability in the last two years. This indicates an increase in credit risk, liquidity risk, interest rate risk, and bank profitability risk. This study contributes in providing an explanation regarding banking performance which can lead to a decline in profitability that can influence investment decision making by investors in terms of the performance of the issuer. This research is included in the category of quantitative research with a sample of commercial banks in Indonesia selected based on purposive sampling method. The results of this study indicate that the lower the credit risk the higher the bank's profitability, the higher the interest rate risk the higher the bank's profitability, and the liquidity risk which has a significant positive effect on the performance of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2016-2018 period.

Abstract:
A survey and revision of the highest syntaxa of the class Festuco-Puccinellietea with the exception of plant communities attributed to the class Scorzonero—Juncetea gerardii are submitted. Communities of the Festuco-Puccinellietea are inland intrazonal stands of Eurasia on solonetz soils, most common in flat lowlands as well on the rivers and lakes terraces that are briefly flooded in spring-time, and dry for the most part of the growing season. The diagnostic species combination of the class is heterogeneous. It includes Artemisia dwarf semi-shrubs of the Seriphidium section that are widely spread in the Iran-Turan subregion of the Sahara-Gobi area. These are also Limonium species that are mostly diverse in the Mediterranean region where from these taxa could move into inland areas with solonetz soils. The Festuca taxa of the section Festuca together with Poa bulbosa have probably moved on solonetz soils from adjoining steppes. The halophytic Puccinellia taxa of Xeratropis and Puccinellia sections could penetrate into Festuco-Puccinellietea communities from the banks saline pools. The floristic composition of the class in question gives the bright example of the net-shaped evolution of plant communities according to Whittaker (1980). The distribution area of Festuco-Puccinellietea communities lies within the Black Sea-Kazakhstan subregion of the Eurasian Steppe region according to the subdivision of the Ancient Mediterranean by Lavrenko (1962, 1970а). There are no communities that could be placed in Festuco-Puccinellietea in Central Asia, at least the authors were not lucky to find any signs of these in references. The closest to this class are the communities of Achnatheretea splendentis, however their floristic composition and ecology are significantly different. Within the whole area of their distribution the Festuco-Puccinellietea communities are neighboring with those of Scorzonero—Juncetea gerardii occupying shallow depressions, while in the steppe zone they occur close to zonal phytocenoses on placor belonging to Festuco-Brometea. There is no idea what kinds of semidesert zonal vegetation are contiguous with Festuco-Puccinellietea communities because it is still been poorly studied from the point of view of the Braun-Blanquet approach. Syntaxa that belong to Festuco-Puccinellietea are so far poorly studied on the vast area of Ukraine, as well as Krasnodar and Stavropol regions, the Don River basin, the territory between the Don and Volga rivers of Russia, and Northern Kazakhstan.

Abstract:
Banks are financial institutions that play an important role in the economy of a country. Therefore, the existence of a healthy bank is very necessary. This study aims to compare the financial performance of Indonesian people's banks (BRI) and Indonesian state banks (BNI) based on financial ratio analysis listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2012-2016. The study uses the CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio) method in which the ratio shows how far all bank assets that contain risks (credit, participation, securities, bills at other banks) are also financed from the bank's own capital funds in addition to obtaining funds from sources sources outside the bank, such as community funds, loans (debts), etc. ... The results of this study indicate that the CAR ratio in BRI is better than that of BNI banks. This proves that the CAR ratio and financial performance at BRI banks are better than BNI banks. Because it can manage capital as well as possible and accommodate the risk of loss. The results also show that BRI is better known to the lower middle class.

Abstract:
The research aims to examine the effect of the effectiveness of internal control on trends in accounting fraud, examine the effect of information asymmetry on trends in accounting fraud, examine the effect of compensation appropriateness on accounting fraud trends. Qualitative research was carried out through in-depth surveys and interviews with the management of Islamic banks in Malang, customers, and academics about the need for an internal control system that is in accordance with the characteristics of Islamic banks. The development of an internal control system using the COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of The Treadway Commissions) framework was adopted and adapted to the characteristics of Islamic banks. The results of the study offer a model of an Islamic bank's internal control system through five components of the COSO, namely (1) the control environment, (2) risk assessment, (3) control activities, (4) information and communication, and (5) monitoring that will benefit banks sharia to achieve strategic and operational goals, accuracy of financial reporting, and compliance with applicable policies and laws. Thus it will be able to help eliminate risks so that the performance of profit-sharing based financing can also be improved
