ABSTRACT: In an increasingly diverse and multi-mediaized world, education in values is today an essential support for educating in "living together"; it is one of the major objectives of foreign language teaching. Indeed, our contribution relates to the analysis of the values transmitted by the French textbook in order to see if it contributes to an awareness of the values of oneself and an opening on the other. To do this, we carried out a content analysis of the text book for the fourth year on average. The results showed us the failure of this document in the teaching of values, from an intercultural perspective, it is therefore inadequate with the aims of the official speech
RÉSUMÉ : Dans un monde de plus en plus diversifié et multimédiatisé, l’éducation aux valeurs s’avère aujourd’hui un soutien incontournable pour éduquer au «vivre ensemble» ; elle constitue l’un des objectifs majeurs de l’enseignement des langues étrangères. En effet, notre contribution porte sur l’analyse des valeurs transmises par le manuel de français afin de voir s’il contribue à une prise de conscience des valeurs de soi et une ouverture à l’altérité. Pour ce faire, nous avons procédé à une analyse de contenu du manuel de la quatrième année moyenne. Les résultats nous ont montré la défaillance de ce document en matière de l’enseignement des valeurs dans une perspective interculturelle ; il est par conséquent, inadéquat avec les finalités du discours officiel.

RésuméCet article s’intéresse à d’étranges graffitis qui couvrent les murs de Libreville (Gabon). Leur scripteur, André Ondo Mba, est un personnage excentrique, prophete autoproclamé qui prétend accomplir la création divine à travers ses écritures publiques. Ses graffitis manifestent, sous une forme excessive, une idéologie de l’écriture dont l’origine est à chercher dans la situation coloniale, notamment dans les deux pivots du pouvoir colonial que sont la mission et l’administration. Situés au croisement du document officiel et des Écritures saintes, les graffitis d’Ondo Mba possedent en outre une forte charge contestataire : ils défient les autorités en place. Toute la question est alors de savoir si Ondo Mba parvient à faire entendre son message. L’article s’intéresse ainsi à la réception des graffitis. Aussi extravagante soit-elle, la mythologie personnelle d’Ondo Mba fait appel a un imaginaire, notamment politico-religieux, qui trouve en réalité de nombreux échos dans la société gabonaise contemporaine.

Henri III s'acquit, de son vivant, une enviable réputation d'orateur, au point d’être considéré par Agrippa d'Aubigné comme un roi «bien disant». Comme tout roi, il s'en remettait bien sûr à ses officiers pour la rédaction de ses discours. Pourtant, grâce à Jacques Davy Du Perron, on sait qu'il ne se contentait pas de reprendre fidèlement les discours écrits à son usage, mais qu'il se faisait un point d'honneur de les approprier à «la trempe de son esprit». Or, la Bibliothèque nationale de France conserve un document d'un intérêt insoupçonné, qui illustre le rôle actif que chercha à jouer Henri III dans la mise en scène de la parole royale à la veille des États Généraux de 1576. Il s'agit du mémoire autographe d'un discours de cinq feuillets, qui contient les idées que le roi a consignées par écrit, sans doute en octobre ou novembre, en guise de canevas de la harangue des États Généraux de 1576, destiné à Jean de Morvillier, doyen du conseil d’État et rédacteur du discours officiel. Cette pièce d'archive unique permet de comprendre pourquoi, lors de la seconde harangue du roi aux États Généraux en 1588, Pierre de l'Estoile s’étonnera de la franchise un peu brutale avec laquelle Henri III mettra en garde la Ligue: c'est que jusqu'alors il avait été un prince «dissimulé», écartelé entre son devoir de représentant de l’État et la subjectivité de l'individu qui incarne cet État, hiatus dont le mémoire autographe témoigne éloquemment.

The article discusses the issues of criminal liability for encroachments on the procedure of official document circulation. The concept and features of a document and an official document as subjects of criminal law protection are analyzed in detail. Criteria are proposed for distinguishing between a document and an official document, as well as the classification of documents. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of amendments to Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, made in the summer of 2019, which provide for responsibility for the falsification, production or circulation of fake documents, state awards, stamps, seals or letterheads. The article examines in detail the objective features of the elements of crimes encroaching on official documents, which include the acquisition, sale, stealing, destruction, damage, concealment, as well as forgery of official documents, the sale of fake official documents and their use. The issues of the subjective side of these crimes are considered. The article also focuses on the problems of delimiting the use of obviously fake official documents, the responsibility for which is provided for in paragraph 4 of Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation from crimes, where the use of fake documents acts as a means of committing a crime, such as fraud, illegal obtaining a loan, etc. Suggestions are made on the appropriateness amending a number of articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, providing for liability for encroachment on official documents.

<abstract> <p>When drafting official government documents, it is necessary to firmly grasp the main idea and ensure that any positions stated within the text are consistent with those in previous documents. In combination with the field's demands, By taking advantage of suitable text-mining techniques to harvest opinions from sentences in official government documents, the efficiency of official government document writers can be significantly increased. Most existing opinion mining approaches employ text classification methods to directly mine the sentential text of official government documents while disregarding the influence of the objects described within the documents (i.e., the target entities) on the sentence opinion categories. To address these issues, this study proposes a sentence opinion mining model that fuses the target entities within documents. Based on the Bi-directional long short-term (BiLSTM) and attention mechanisms, the model fully considers the attention given by a official government document's target entity to different words within the corresponding sentence text, as well as the dependency between words of the sentence. The model subsequently fuses two by using feature vector fusion to obtain the final semantic representation of the text, which is then classified using a fully connected network and softmax function. Experimental results based on a dataset of official government documents show that the model significantly outperforms baseline models such as Text-convolutional neural network (TextCNN), recurrent neural network (RNN), and BiLSTM.</p> </abstract>

There is a divergence of jurisprudence on these issues. There are author’s approaches to determining the content of an important personal and official document. The complexity of the problem and the feasibility of its further development are noted.

The research is carried out in line with the current problems of modern document linguistics, related to the study of formation peculiarities, design and functioning of new types of documents. It is shown that currently there is a change in the structure of the document in two directions: the unification of the document form and the creation of documents without a clear structure. The concept of "interactive document" is introduced. It refers to a form of hypertext representation, a special material structure (code, program, existing in an electronic environment) created by a person to store and transmit information in space and time, adapted for reading the text (as a logical or associative sequence of speech or non-speech signs). The types of interactive documents (business portal, business website, paper work automation and electronic document management program) are identified. The specifics of the material carrier and the information component of the interactive document are characterized. It is shown that non-rigid structure is characteristic of interactive documents. It is established that information in interactive documents is transmitted through verbal and nonverbal components. The terminological richness of the verbal component of an interactive document and the tendency to move from official to less formal communication in an electronic environment, regardless of the business situation, are revealed. The classification of nonverbal features is developed. It is stated that they are more diverse in comparison with traditional hard copies.

The daily procedures in both official and non-official organizations include the printing and archiving of thousands of paper-based documents, either as issued, incoming, or as attachment documents; as well as the verification of the authenticity of the issuance of such documents at the receiving party, this leads to the production of further papers that are referred to as "issuance validation", This procedure costs more time, effort, and money. Furthermore, the process of archiving and storing these documents electronically requires considerable effort and time in terms of manually entering the information or saving them as images, as well as the possibility of data entry mistakes. This paper proposes employing authenticated PDF417 barcodes in paper-based document publication procedures by adding an encrypted barcode (signature) to the issued document and making it simpler to authenticate the information. During the document verification process, neither internet access nor real-time interaction with the document issuer are required. Furthermore, the proposed system offers a way to digitally archive documents using a barcode scanner or smartphones, which enables accuracy and speed in entering the information of documents received or issued by the institution.

On postule dans cette recherche que la violence scolaire n'existe pas comme un problème social avec les conditions objectives qui l'instaurent comme situation caractéristique des contextes scolaires "difficiles". D'une forme distincte nous proposons qu'il est possible de comprendre la violence scolaire comme la configuration sociale d'un problème public sur le champ éducatif. En d'autres termes, la recherche objective un schéma de perception qui expose une forme particulière d'observer les relations sociales lesquelles on vit dans l'école. Nous dans la recherche argumentons que comme expression d'un schéma de perception officielle sur un problème public éducatif, la violence scolaire, cache les trajectoires sociales de quelques jeunes scolarisés qui vivent les inégalités profondes des structures économiques et sociales. Ainsi, depuis une perspective relationnelle nous lions les conditions sociales de production de violence scolaire comme un problème public et les trajectoires sociales d'étudiants au moyen de la question suivante: Quel est le rapport entre les conditions sociales de production de violence et les trajectoires sociales d'étudiants dans une condition juvénile ? Pour développer l'antérieur nous nous sommes proposés décrire la relation qui existe entre les conditions sociales de production de violence scolaire et les trajectoires sociales d'étudiants dans une condition juvénile.. En détail La recherche est essentiellement axée dans; 1) Construire une option théorique pour comprendre la violence scolaire comme la configuration sociale d'un problème public de caractère éducatif; 2) Identifier et reconstruire les discours officiels qui ont instauré la violence scolaire comme problème public éducatif, dans deux types de documents: a) les documents Informes l'État Mondial de l'enfance 1990-2012 publiés par l'UNICEF et b) les Plans Sectoriels d'Education produits par différents gouvernements qui ont administré la ville de Bogotá (Colombie) dans la période 1995-2012. Et finalement, 3) décrire les trajectoires sociales d'étudiants d'éducation pour comprendre ses trajectoires sociales et sa participation dans des situations de violence scolaire. La recherche assume que, pour aborder la violence scolaire comme un problème de caractère public, il est nécessaire de suspendre son caractère "naturel ou évident" pour rechercher sur sa configuration sociale, déterminée à l'existence d'agents sociaux qui perçoivent qu'ils sont affectés par les conséquences indirectes de la violence dans les écoles et par la constitution d'une action politique dirigée quand ont soigné au moyen des organes spéciaux les intérêts de considérés des victimes effectives ou possibles de situations considérées comme de risque de violence dans les contextes scolaires. Finalement la recherche aborde la violence scolaire comme une situation sociale incarnée dans les corps, c'est-à-dire, vécue comme un système de dispositions. Avec la stratégie de recherche qualitative dénommée des Noyaux de Recherche Sociale nous réussissons à comprendre qu'une distance existe entre le discours officiel engagé dans le discernement juridique; la définition des agressions; la classification des situations de violence; l'établissement de protocoles pour la promotion de droits; la prévention en face de divers facteurs de risque, et le vieillissement social juvénile déterminé au difficile accès aux stratégies de reproduction du capital social vécu par quelques jeunes de la ville de BogotáIt is postulated in this research study, that scholar violence does not exist as a social problem with objective conditions that establish it like something unique of unusual scholar contexts in opposition to ordinary scholar situations. In another way, it is set out as a premise that it is possible to understand the scholar violence like the social structure of a public problem in the educational field. In other words, the research is a perception scheme that visualize a particular way of observing the social relations that students live at school. It is estimated the comprehensive effort arguing that like an expression of an official perception scheme about an educational public problem, the scholar violence unvisualize the social experiences in school young where it is discovered that violence at school is the demonstration of deep disparities of economic and social structures that produce, among others, alarming decline social processes. Thus, since a relational perspective we connect the social conditions of scholar violence production like a social problem and the social experiences of students in youthful condition taking into account the following sociological question: What relation does exist between the social conditions of scholar violence production and the students´ social experiences in youthful condition?

Evoquez le terme d'adolescence, et dans la foulée des représentations émergeront dans les esprits. En effet, crises, violences, conduites marginales, refus de l'autorité sont systématiquement associés à cette période de la vie. Néanmoins, les adolescents en passe de faire le deuil de l'enfance ne sont pas tous sujets à des comportements borderline. Dans cette recherche d'une (nouvelle) identité, tous ne s'inscrivent pas dans une quête de soi déviante ou délinquante. Cependant, une chose est sûre, ils cherchent tous à s'éprouver pour se convaincre que la vie mérite d'être vécue. Et parce que la condition humaine est d'abord corporelle, bon nombre d'entre eux s'inscrivent dans une quête de soi mobilisant sensorialité et émotions. Certains cherchent ces états dans des pratiques déviantes (marge) comme par exemple dans des conduites automobiles dangereuses ou avec la consommation de psychotropes. D'autres trouvent à se nourrir sensoriellement et émotionnellement dans des pratiques plus traditionnelles (centre) parmi lesquelles le sport occupe une place de choix. Peu importe l'espace de pratique, l'objectif est le toujours le même : faire l'expérience collective d'un corps mis volontairement à mal pour devenir soi parmi les autres. Cette thèse propose de rendre compte de la manière dont la course à pied (et plus particulièrement les séances d’entrainement) constitue un de ces espaces où les adolescents viennent se cogner, se faire mal pour se construire une identité. Les résultats de ce travail de doctorat révèlent des individus faisant des douleurs sportives un moyen pour franchir sans heurt le cap de l'adolescenceMentioning adolescence will often evoke negative representations. Indeed, crises, violence, marginal behaviours, denial of authority are always associated with this period of life. Teenagers build up their (new) identity as they mourn their childhood. Nevertheless, they are not all having borderline behaviours. In order to get out of this in-betweenness, they are not all seeking themselves in a deviant or delinquent way. In fact, they all certainly want to feel and to prove to themselves that life is worth living. And because humanity is above all a matter of body, lots of them seek themselves using their senses and feelings. Some of them may do it through risky activities (margin), such as dangerous driving or drug abuse. Yet, others find enough feelings in more conventional activities (center), among which sport has a prominent place. In the margins as well as in the center, the aim is the same: consciously and collectively hurting the body to become oneself. This thesis reports how running, especially through trainings, can be one of the spaces where teenagers experience pain. This way, they build up their identity. The results of this PHD bring to the fore these individuals who are using sports pain to live a smooth transition from adolescence to adulthood

La culture de la naissance peut être assimilée à un rituel de passage à la base de la construction identitairepour la mère et pour l’enfant. Cette transition est conçue de manière différente selon les contextesculturels.À partir d’un travail ethnographique au Portugal et dans l’Amazonie équatorienne, nous avons mis enévidence l’existence de trois systèmes de santé : le biomédical ou système officiel (qui se constituecomme tel à partir du XIX s.), le système traditionnel ou ancestral et le système alternatif (dans ce cas,incarné par les doulas).Autour de ces trois systèmes de santé se tisse une culture de la naissance porteuse, dans chaque cas, d’undiscours légitimant des pratiques présentées comme « adéquates » et les représentations associées.Malgré des différences importantes entre les procédures des protocoles médicaux – propres au systèmeofficiel de santé, au système traditionnel de santé et au système alternatif - pour la prise en charge del’accouchement, de l’alimentation pré-lactée (don du colostrum) et du postpartum, nous avons identifiédes points communs entre eux. This transition is conceived in different ways in distinct cultural contexts.Based on an ethnographic work in Portugal and the Amazonia of Ecuador, we have identified threeexisting health systems: biomedicine or the official system (which was constituted as “official” from the19th century onwards), the traditional system or ancestral system, and the alternative system (in this case,embodied by doulas).In the framework of these three health systems, a culture of birth is woven into a discourse legitimizingtheir practices, which are presented as "adequate", and their representations.Although there are important differences between the procedures of the medical protocols - specific tothe formal health system, to the traditional health system, and to the alternative system - for the deliveryof childbirth, for pre-lactated feeding (colostrum feed), and for postpartum, we also found bridgesbetween them.Sometimes the boundaries between these different health systems, between tradition and modernity, areeither disappeared or blurred.Various practices are associated with representations relating to death, bodies, pain, health and diseaseparadigms, religion, cleanliness and hygiene, social ties, among others

A presente dissertação apresenta o estudo desenvolvido que teve por objetivo analisar a produção dos documentos fotográficos produzidos pela Assessoria de Comunicação e Imprensa da Universidade Estadual Paulista “Julio de Mesquita Filho” - Unesp, no período de 1985 a 2008, questionando a gênese documental desses documentos. De modo específico, fez-se a categorização das funções e competências da Assessoria, por meio de documentos normativos da Universidade; como o mapeamento da produção dos documentos fotográficos, mediante análise documental e entrevistas; Além da análise das funções e atividades da assessoria apresentada pelo Plano de Classificação da Atividades-meio da Universidade em relação a produção dos documentos fotográficos. Com o intuito de alcançar a meta proposta, optou-se pelo desenvolvimento do método de pesquisa estudo de caso, sendo conduzido pela busca da ampliação das discussões em torno dos documentos fotográficos na perspectiva orgânica institucional. Inserido na Arquivologia o estudo aspirou contribuir para novas abordagens interdisciplinares sobre o fenômeno da gênese documental de documentos fotográficos produzidos institucionalmente, derivados de processos de trabalho. Entre os resultados apresenta-se pela ótica orgânica e funcional, a função da “Comunicação Institucional” assim como a subfunção de assessoria de imprensa e a atividade de produção de registro de imagem e som, resultados apresentados após a análise dos documentos normativos com plano de classificação das atividades-meio da universidade. Já o mapeamento do fluxo de produção dos documentos fotográficos possibilitou à compreensão da gênese documental que se desenvolve em torno das demandas de pautas fotográficas, A elaboração do fluxograma possibilitou a constatação que todos os documentos fotográficos produzidos eram arquivados pela assessoria. A comparação entre o Plano de classificação das atividades-meio da Universidade em relação à produção dos documentos fotográficos pela assessoria constatou-se que as atividades que deram origem ao documento fotográfico não foram contempladas no plano de classificação. Por fim, argumenta-se a necessidade dos estudos de diplomática/tipologia documental como perspectivas futuras sobre os estudos sobre espécies/tipos documentais fotográficas.
The current dissertation introduce the study developed with the purpose of analyze the photographic documents produced by the Communication and Press Office of the State University of São Paulo "Julio de Mesquita Filho" – Unesp, in the period of 1985 to 2008, questioning the documentary genesis of the documents. Specifically, the functions and competencies of the Press Office were categorized through normative documents of the University; Such as mapping the production of photographic documents, through documentary analysis and interviews; in addition to the analysis of the functions and activities of the Press Office presented by the Plan of Classification of the activities-middle of the University in relation to the production of the photographic documents. In order to achieve the proposed goal, the research method selected was the case study, being driven by the search increased of the discussions about photographic documents in the institutional organic perspective. Inserted in archival science the research aspired to contribute to new interdisciplinary approaches on the phenomenon of the documentary genesis of photographic documents produced institutionally, derived from work processes. Among the results is presented by the organic optical e functional view, the function of “Institutional Communication” as well as the sub-function of the press office and the activity of production of image and sound record, results presented after the analysis of the normative documents with the plan of the classification of university activities-middle. The mapping of the production flow of photographic documents allowed to understanding the documentary genesis that develops around the demands of photographic scripts. The flowchart elaboration allowed the confirmation that all photographic documents produced were archived by press office. The comparison between the Plan of classification of University activities-middle in relation to the production of photographic documents by the press office was verified that the activities that gave rise to the photographic documents were not contemplated in the classification plan. Finally, it is argued the need of diplomatic studies/documentary typology as future perspective on studies of form photographic.

A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar a abordagem da Combinatória em orientações curriculares de documentos oficiais, em resultados de pesquisas e em livros didáticos do Ensino Fundamental e se há consonância entre as abordagens. A nossa fundamentação teórica discute sobre a importância de cada um destes elementos e sua relação com a Combinatória, além de nos apoiarmos na Teoria dos Campos Conceituais de Vergnaud (1986) para análise dos livros. Para tal foram analisados os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais de Matemática dos anos inicias e finais do Ensino Fundamental (BRASIL, 1997 e 1998) e Parâmetros Curriculares de Matemática para Educação Básica de Pernambuco (PERNAMBUCO, 2012). Analisamos também pesquisas recentes publicadas em eventos nacionais e internacionais ocorridos no Brasil no período de 2009 a 2013, as quais estudaram sobre sondagem de alunos e intervenções de ensino em Combinatória. O último elemento de análise foi o livro didático, na qual constaram coleções aprovados pelo PNLD 2013, dos anos iniciais e PNLD 2014, dos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental. Neste sentido, apresentamos a análise da abordagem da Combinatória em cada um destes elementos, confrontando-os de forma gradativa à medida que cada elemento é apresentado. A partir dos resultados foi possível perceber que os documentos oficiais tratam claramente do ensino deste conteúdo desde o período de alfabetização matemática, envolvendo os quatro significados do conceito (produto cartesiano, arranjo, combinação e permutação), nos quais devem estar relacionados com os campos de Números e Operações e Tratamento da Informação. Além disso, orientam que ao longo de todo o Ensino Fundamental sejam utilizadas diferentes estratégias de resolução, que irão levar ao uso do principio fundamental da contagem nos anos finais, sem que haja a utilização de fórmulas. De forma semelhante, identificamos nos estudos recentes que desde cedo os alunos são capazes de resolver tais problemas, utilizando desenhos, listagem e árvores de possibilidades, por exemplo. Contudo, que precisam superar alguns obstáculos de resolução, relacionados à compreensão dos invariantes, elemento este que, segundo os estudos, precisam ser explicitados para os estudantes, por meio de um ensino sistemático, que vise também à organização das estratégias de resolução e o esgotamento de possibilidades. Desta forma, ao analisar os livros percebemos importantes relações da abordagem da Combinatória com os documentos e pesquisas, havendo, assim, consonância dos mesmos em vários dos aspectos analisados, tais como abordagem ao longo de todo o segmento do Ensino Fundamental, trabalho com os diferentes significados envolvidos no conceito, apoio nas variadas estratégias de resolução apresentadas por alunos e orientadas para o ensino, a sistematização da estratégia e o esgotamento de possibilidades para o desenvolvimento do raciocínio combinatório, superando o pensamento do provável para o possível. Contudo, a análise nos livros didáticos aponta a necessidade de maior atenção na abordagem da Combinatória nos anos iniciais, envolvendo todos os significados do conceito e relação com o Campo do Tratamento da Informação com a Probabilidade e a Estatística. Além de apresentar orientações mais concisas no manual do professor para o trabalho com este conteúdo.
This study aimed to analyze the approach of Combinatorics in curriculum guidelines of official documents in search engine results and teaching of elementary school books and if there is harmony between the approaches. Our theoretical framework discusses the importance of each of these elements and their relationship to Combinatorics, and rely upon the Theory of Conceptual Fields of Vergnaud (1986) for analysis of the books. For this purpose the analyzed National Curriculum Standards of Mathematics of the initial and final years of elementary school (BRAZIL, 1997 and 1998) and Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Basic Education of Pernambuco (Pernambuco, 2012). We also analyze recent research published in national and international events in Brazil in the 2009 to 2013 period, which studied on survey of students and teaching interventions in Combinatorics. The last element of analysis was the textbook, which consisted collections approved by PNLD 2013, the early years and PNLD 2014, the final years of elementary school. In this sense, we present the analysis of the combinatorial approach in each of these elements, confronting them gradually as each element is displayed. From the results it was observed that the official documents clearly address the teaching of this content from the period of mathematical literacy, involving the four concept meanings (Cartesian product, arrangement, combination and permutation), in which must be related to the fields of Numbers and Operations and Management of Information. In addition, guide you throughout elementary school are used different coping strategies, which will lead to the use of the fundamental principle of counting in the final years, without the use of formulas. Similarly, recent studies identify early students are able to solve such problems by using drawings, list and trees of possibilities, for example. However, they must overcome some resolution of obstacles related to the understanding of invariants, which element, according to the studies, need to be made for students through a systematic education, which also aims at the organization of solving strategies and depletion possibilities. Thus, when analyzing the books we see important relationships of the combinatorial approach to the documents and research, having thus keeping the same in several of the analyzed aspects such as approach throughout the primary school segment, working with different meanings involved in the concept, support in various resolution strategies presented by students-oriented teaching, systematization of the strategy and the exhaustion of possibilities for the development of logical thinking, surpassing thought likely to be. However, the analysis in textbooks points to the need for greater attention in addressing the Combinatorial in the early years, involving all the concept and meanings related to the treatment of the Field of Information to Probability and Statistics. In addition to presenting more concise guidance in the teacher's manual to work with this content.

An efficient document management brings various benefits, not only for professionals of the area but, mainly, for business managers who can use this information in their decision-making to enjoy competitive advantages on competitors. Having in mind that effectiveness is a constant pursuit for any company in order to achieve their strategic goals and improve the techniques which enable more productivity using fewer financial resources. In this sense, it was sought to apply the Lean office in the document file management of Santa Fé Company, once it is necessary to improve the current processes with less waste and more efficiency, with a view to the need to suit the client more efficiently before their information necessities. Regarding to the method used, it is characterized as a research-action in a quali-quantitative approach, classified as exploratory and descriptive. The data collection was held through a participative observation, a non-structured interview, and a focus group realization, in order to achieve greater participation of workers in the construction of a current value flow mapping, identifying possible improvements, which can be implemented in order to build the future flow mapping, which is ideal for the good performance of proceedings. The chosen sector to apply this research was the dispatch sector, once it presents some critical points and for being a sector with a high document file demand. Regarding to the research application, the following steps were performed: Training and worker awareness about the Lean thinking; VFM current state; VFM future state; Action plan and results evaluation and discussion. Among the obtained research results, it stands out in a quantitative way the reduction of waste, with significant gains of Lead Time, diminishing the time to process the activities and the time at which the material awaits to be processed. Financial gains were also obtained with a better use of resources and a redesigning of the way to keeping the documents. In a qualitative way, a better working environment is highlighted with visual management practices to information communication and increase of the service efficiency in bringing more customer satisfaction.
Uma gestão documental eficiente traz diversos benefícios, não apenas ao profissional, mas, principalmente, aos gestores das empresas que podem usufruir de tais informações nas tomadas de decisão para desfrutar de vantagens competitivas acerca dos concorrentes. Tendo em vista que a eficácia é uma busca constante de qualquer empresa a fim de atingir os objetivos estratégicos e melhorar as técnicas que possibilitem mais produtividade com o uso de menos recursos financeiros. Nesse sentido, buscou-se aplicar o Lean office na gestão de arquivos do Grupo Santa Fé, uma vez que é preciso melhorar os processos atuais, com menos desperdícios e mais eficiência, tendo em vista a necessidade de atender o cliente com mais eficácia diante de suas necessidades informacionais. Quanto ao método utilizado, caracteriza-se por ser uma pesquisa-ação, de abordagem quali-quantitativa, classificada como exploratória e descritiva. A coleta dos dados realizou-se por meio de observação participante, entrevista não estruturada e realização de um grupo focal, com objetivo de obter maior participação dos colaboradores na construção do mapeamento do fluxo de valor atual, identificando possíveis melhorias que podem ser implantadas para assim construir o mapeamento de fluxo futuro, ideal ao bom andamento dos processos. O setor escolhido para aplicação do estudo foi o despachante, por apresentar alguns pontos críticos e também por ser o setor que mais apresenta demanda documental do arquivo. Em relação à aplicação da pesquisa, seguiram-se os seguintes passos: Treinamento e conscientização dos colaboradores para o pensamento Lean; MFV estado atual; MFV - estado Futuro; Plano de ação e Avaliação e discussão dos resultados. Entre os resultados obtidos da pesquisa realizada, destaca-se, de forma quantitativa, a redução de desperdícios com ganhos significativos do Lead Time, diminuindo o tempo gasto para processar as atividades e tempo em que o material fica parado, esperando para ser processado. Ganhos financeiros também foram obtidos, com mais aproveitamento dos recursos e uma reformulação na forma de guardar os documentos. De forma qualitativa, destaca-se um melhor ambiente de trabalho com práticas da gestão visual para comunicação das informações e aumento da eficiência do serviço prestado, gerando mais satisfação do cliente.

The present paper deals with the microhistorical, anthropological and linguistic analysis of one archival document dated 1637. Through its careful reading, we reveal the story of the Kanin Samoyed (“Samoyedin”) Yakushko Pirchikov who had to flee Arkhangelsk along with two reindeer to England by ship in 1631. Later he found himself again in Arkhangelsk where he was caught by official authorities and eventually imprisoned. The documented interrogations preserved in the Russian State Archive of Ancient Acts (RGADA) allowed us to reconstruct the wider context of the Nenets-Russian-English contacts in the Arkhangelsk area in the early modern times. The appendix to the article contains the full-text archival documents (photocopy) supplemented by the cursive transcript, their translation into Modern Russian and the detailed commentary.

AbstractThis chapter describes the data sources that are available for verifying the ages of the oldest-old in Japan. These sources can be both official and non-official documents. The official documents consist primarily of education and employment records issued by administration offices. The non-official documents include the testimonies of the centenarians themselves, their relatives, and their care workers; as well as media reports. We collected information from these official and non-official sources in order to confirm that three Japanese individuals who had reportedly survived to age 115 were indeed that old. The first of these individuals is Mr. Jiroemon Kimura (J.K.), who spent most of his life in his birth place. In his case, we were able to gather information from various sources, including from official and non-official documents. But for the other two individuals, Mrs. Misao Okawa (M.O.) and Mrs. Chiyo Miyako (C.M.), who relocated several times within urban areas, we were able to collect only a limited amount of information. In particular, we were unable to find many official documents about their original family members. These three cases suggest that the availability of the data needed to verify the ages of individuals who were born around 1900 might differ depending on the following three conditions: whether the person has moved from his/her place of birth, whether the person has been living in rural or urban areas, and whether the person is male or female.

AbstractRecent economic, demographic, and spatial changes have profoundly modified urban and rural areas and generated new territories, characterized by varying degrees of urbanity. The classification methods traditionally used to identify them are based on the distinction between urban and non-urban areas and are no longer functional to describe the territorial outcomes of these transformations. New methods have therefore been formulated and implemented in recent years to replace them. EUROSTAT has developed and updated periodically its own methods, intended to methodologically support scholars to read territorial diversities and transformations. Being the basis for the production of official statistics and data comparison between regions, these methods have fully replaced all the other methods that singular statistical offices of European countries had previously developed. Several government institutions began adopting specific territorial classifications in their strategic planning documents. These methods differed from those implemented by statistical offices, providing a more accurate and detailed framework for national and regional policies. This also happened in Italy, with ISTAT (Istituto Nazionale di Statistica—National Statistical Office) and many governmental institutions (e.g., National Government Institutions, Department for Economic Development and Cohesion, Ministry for Agricultural Policies, National Rural Network), experimenting with their own urban–rural classification methods to map all or part of the Italian territory. This paper offers an overview of the methods formulated and implemented in Italy over the last 15 years by ISTAT and governmental institutions. During this time, these institutions have developed six different methods to define urban and rural territories and to delimit territories with several degrees of urbanization, such as peri-urban areas. Specifically, ISTAT uses the EUROSTAT method to produce international and national statistics. Governmental institutions adopt methods based on economic and demographic data, which identify various territorial categories in addition to urban/rural ones, in their strategic planning documents. These findings result from desk research based on an analysis of official documents and scientific papers.

Sustainable architecture is important to minimize negative impact of building. In this paper we concentrate on the problem from people with disability point of view. For them one of must important factors of sustainable architecture in public space is the problem connected with architectural barriers. In presented paper we conducted an analysis of hidden factors of architectural barriers on example of municipal office in Sosnowiec in southern part of Poland. During the research we analyzed the needs of persons with disabilities (perceived quality) and their assessment in terms of the level of quality of services provided by the municipal offices. We analyzed twenty fourth variables connected with architectural barriers in the municipal office and its neighborhood. We analyzed following variables: office location (easy to reach), a sufficient number of parking spaces, Z3 - parking spaces for the disabled near the entrance of the office, a clear marking of parking spaces for the disabled, watch for unauthorized persons occupying seats for the disabled, facilities for disabled people in the office, elevators for disabled guests, toilets suitable for disabled guests, handrails of the stairs, a system of ramps and ramps for the disabled, the doors have a width that allows entry wheelchair, anti-slip floor, equal level thresholds and floors, pavement and curbs around the office adapted for the disabled, website provides information for people with disabilities, website readable for people with visual disabilities, officials are turning to people with hearing difficulties by means of a suitable device, officials are talking with a person of hearing in a separate room, the office's employee who knew sign language, officials can serve the customers with guide dog, the office is equipped with a special frame to allow signing a document, the visually handicapped person allows the presence of a trusted person who acquainted her with the content of signed documents, the city council does not contain architectural barriers hindering the movement of physically disabled person, an overall assessment of architectural barriers at the office. Next we conducted factor analysis to identify main hidden factors of architectural barriers.

A knowledge based way of preparing documents tools in an organization within an activities such as document preparation that are supported by a knowledge based system. Software called REGENT (Report Generation Tool) works in an environment that generates documents from the reusable document pieces during planning, execution and monitoring the document preparation process in a firm or organizational environment. The documents are built from stored document pieces by using artificial intelligence methods. A system architecture was developed to enable the document generation process to take place within a widen office automation standard. The report preparation process knowledge is captured in form of representing a knowledge based scheme. An artificial intelligence problem solving strategy was developed to take care of reasoning steps when document pieces were being configured. The REGENT environment is normally working when preparing a recurrent report types such as annual reports preparation. The impact of globalization on the development of money laundering and terrorist financing has gradually included the notary profession, which is gaining more and more important in the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing by implementing the basic steps of compiling and drafting notarial documents. It is especially pronounced in the identification of signatories and entry of accurate and true data when amending notarial documents. The nature of notarial work allows risk assessment to determine the level of risk of money laundering and terrorist financing with an individual party, business relation, financial instrument, and transaction. Therefore, this profession is obliged to assess the risk at the level of taxpayers, which includes reports of suspicious transactions. The essential tool for preventing fraud is the justified denial of official action of a notary public due to the nullity of a legal transaction, achieving an evidently inadmissible or unfair goal, as well as due to committing criminal offenses, inability to comply with essential formalities when drawing up a notarial document, i.e. official certification of private documents, and lack of power of attorney and for other justified reasons if the party is not authorized to undertake and conclude a legal transaction.

This document presents a case study of acoustic analysis in an open-plan office. Since Mexico does not have a standard for evaluating acoustic conditions in offices, it is relevant to compare different acoustic evaluation methods used for open-plan offices. According to several studies, one of the main acoustic characteristics for open-plan office spaces is speech intelligibility. Therefore, the purpose of this document is to compare psychoacoustic parameters to evaluate speech intelligibility in open-plan offices. We analyzed physical factors as reverberation and speech clarity in different office points, as well as semantic factors based on subjective methods with standardized values of the quality of speech intelligibility. The study was carried out under real open-plan office conditions in a library in a university in northern Mexico. The study factors of interest were type of sound, sound source, and location of the listener, with Reverberation Time (RT), Speech Transmission Index (STI) and Loss of consonant articulation (%ALCons) as the measures of impact on intelligibility. This case study provides additional evidence of the relationship between intelligibility and the position of sound sources; also, it was noted that location of listeners influenced analyzed intelligibility parameters. On the other hand, this case study offers information concerning to use psychoacoustic parameters for subjective classification of quality of the speech intelligibility to evaluate how is background noise perceived in open-plan office users. However, it is noteworthy that this study represents a single office with its own interior and space design characteristics.

The Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHSMA) has increased emphasis on records that are “traceable, verifiable, and complete.” Organizing records into a document structure that is traceable, verifiable, and complete can be a daunting task. Through work with operators, Det Norske Veritas (U.S.A.) Inc. (DNV) identified a methodology to efficiently search and organize material property data and records into a structure that is fit for regulatory audit. The methodology consists of four steps: (1) Search/Organize Documentation. (2) Digitally Capture Paper Documents. (3) Determine Document Precedence. (4) Create a Reference-able Listing. The first step reviews all files and records and identifies records that are pertinent to properties verification. The search is conducted at an operator’s office(s) by a team of personnel familiar with pipeline construction and maintenance documentation. Once records have been identified, they are digitally captured (scanned) making them easy to reference. This requires a set of metadata and unique name for each document. The metadata consists of project number, document type (maintenance form, drawing, etc…), pipeline name, and information location. Document precedence is used to identify documents most likely to contain correct material information. Document precedence is determined with operator employees that can identify document(s) that have been historically given high reliability. Finally, a listing tabulates material properties along with the unique document name(s) for the specific records. The listing contains pipe (by segment or joint), fittings (valves, prefabricated elbows, etc…), and other components that may affect Maximum (Allowable) Operating Pressures. Typically the listing uses linear pipeline stationing as the main reference. Implementation of the methodology yields a listing of material properties specifically linked to a digital document database — i.e., a records system that is “traceable, verifiable, and complete.” In addition to material properties, this methodology has also been applied to risk-related information (e.g. cathodic protection, crossings, coating information, etc…). The listing can then be used to identify any information gaps and potentially prioritize them based on reliability.

MAGIC is the joint NASA/ESA constellation concept based on NASA’s Mass Change Designated Observable (MCDO) and ESA’s Next Generation Gravity Missions (NGGM) studies. The main objective of MAGIC is to extend the mass transport time series of previous gravity missions such as GRACE and GRACE-FO with significantly enhanced accuracy, spatial and temporal resolutions and to demonstrate the operational capabilities of MAGIC with the goal of answering global user community needs to the greatest possible extent. This document defines unambiguous and traceable requirements for preparing and developing MAGIC. The scope of the MAGIC Mission Requirement Document includes end-to-end Earth observation system including user/scientific requirements, mission operations, data product development and processing, data distribution and data archiving. The intention of the document is also to accommodate results from NASA MCDO study, ESA Phase-0 NGGM and other national studies on future gravity missions. The MAGIC MRD is a NASA/ESA reference document frozen in its current version 1.0 that defines the mission requirements achievable by an optimised two-pair Bender-type constellation of a future implementation. Subsequent ESA and NASA official documents of updated implementation baseline will be traceable to the MAGIC MRD.

These stories were drawn from the testimonies of disaster-affected individuals, households, and communities documented between 2018-19 from the Indian states of Odisha, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. They communicate challenges related to housing resettlement, loss of livelihoods, gender-based exclusion among others. At the heart of this anthology lies the idea of ‘representation’: how are those affected portrayed by the media, state actors, official documents; how are their needs represented and how do these portrayals impact the lives of those at risk and shape their recovery? Graphically illustrating these themes provides a platform to relay personal experiences of disaster risk and recovery.

On Thursday, 30 April 2020, the EdTech Hub participated in an “Ask me anything” session for policy-makers and funders in Nepal. The session focused on designing high-quality, effective, distance education programmes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants included high-level officials from the Nepalese government (e.g., the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, the Curriculum Development Office and the Education Review Office), representatives from development partners (e.g., the World Bank, UNICEF and USAID) and other education organisations (e.g., OLE Nepal). The session was convened for two purposes. First, to consider international good practice and current trends in distance education during the COVID-19 pandemic, presented by the World Bank EduTech team and the EdTech Hub. Second, for the EdTech Hub team to gather questions from participants, to be able to target guidance specifically to the situation in Nepal. This document provides answers to a consolidated list of 10 questions received from stakeholders during the session. To consolidate any overlap, we have occasionally combined multiple questions into one. In other cases, where multiple important issues required a focused response, we split apart questions.
