L’insegnamento scolastico della religione nell’Unione Europea obbedisce a una vastíssima gamma di contesti diversi: diversità di sistemi educativi, di rapporti tra Stato e Chiese, di storie religiose nazionali. La legittimazione dei corsi dipende a volte dalla Costituzione, a volte da concordati, a volte dalle Chiese in collaborazione con lo Stato. Nell’ultimo ventennio è stato rilevante anche il “magistero laico” degli organismi europei, che insistono sul ruolo civico, etico dell’istruzione religiosa, ai fini di una educazione alla convivenza pacifica nella diversità crescente delle fedi religiose e delle convinzioni non religiose. Al di là delle differenze confessionali, coesistono diversi modelli didattici di istruzione religiosa: istruzione nella fede, a partire dalla religione, sulla religione, al di fuori della religione. La Pedagogia e la Didattica delle religioni sono oggetto di continua ricerca e sperimentazione nella facoltà teologiche e negli Istituti superiori di Scienze della religione e della formazione.

Riassunto L’articolo si focalizza sui nuovi movimenti nazionalisti che si stanno affermando politicamente nell’Unione Europea e sulla battaglia che essi conducono contro la diversità religiosa, sempre più visibile nelle società europee, ritenuta una minaccia all’identità cristiana dell’Europa. L’islam è, perciò, diventato, un oggetto polemico (nel senso del polemos, la guerra ideologica che divide drammaticamente la società) nel discorso politico. Tramite tale discorso si tende a costruire una narrazione collettiva convincente: una società troppo diversa dal punto di vista religioso non è sostenibile.

Guardando al contesto veneto, questo studio approfondisce le relazioni tra gover- no del territorio, pianificazione spaziale e diritti di cittadinanza, in particolare quello di libertà religiosa. La ricerca considera le strategie messe in atto dalle amministrazioni in risposta alla crescente domanda di spazi per il culto non cattolici e quindi discute il ruolo della pianificazione in tali processi di localizzazione.

IntroduzioneDopo essere divenuto il simbolo dell'ondata di democratizzazione seguita alla fine della Guerra fredda, il Sudafrica è tornato alla ribalta soprattutto per i drammatici problemi che lo travagliano, legati alla crescita della povertà e della criminalità e alla diffusione dell'Aids. È significativo che la rivista Daedalus, nel dedicargli il numero invernale del 2001, abbia ritenuto di intitolarlo Why South Africa Matters. In realtà, il nuovo Sudafrica continua a costituire un laboratorio unico nel suo genere: le differenze che lo attraversano (che sembrano replicare su scala ridotta quelle esistenti a livello globale) e il carattere fondamentalmente «occidentale» delle sue istituzioni — radicato in una lunga tradizione di electoral politics e nella continuità della rule of law, a cui si deve in gran parte il carattere pacifico della transizione dall'apartheid (Nhlapo 1996; Friedman 1996) — ne fanno un punto di osservazione assai suggestivo per chi sia interessato al futuro del modello democratico nelle società contemporanee, sempre più profondamente caratterizzate dalla diversità culturale, linguistica e religiosa.

L’obiettivo di questo articolo è quello di dimostrare la diversità de prospettive della dottrina sociale della Chiesa su i diritti umani. Sottolinea la prospettiva personalista come la più appropriata per comprendere e giustificare l’interesse generale della dottrina sociale per il tema e l’affermazione dei diritti umani. La Chiesa vede nei diritti umani l’opportunità di promuovere e difendere l’universalità della dignità umana, intesa come carattere stampato da Dio creatore per le sue creature. La prospettiva antropologico-cristiana ha per fondamento la persona umana creata a immagine e somiglianza di Dio. La dottrina sociale della Chiesa, mostra una pluralità di dimensioni, essenziali per definire chi è l’essere umano, e, a sua volta, per la promozione e la difesa della dignità umana di fronte alle istituzioni giuridiche, politiche ed economiche. I diritti umani e la dottrina sociale hanno in Giovanni Paolo II uno dei principali teorici. I diritti umani sono un punto di riferimento per tutte le fasi della vita umana e dei contesti politici, sociali, economici e di culturali. Fonte e sintesi dei diritti umani è il diritto alla vita e il diritto alla libertà religiosa.

Resumo A obra A Viagem de Théo: Romance das Religiões, de autoria da filósofa Catherine Clément, narra a jornada espiritual do personagem Théodore Fournay (Théo), um jovem francês que sofre de uma grave doença e que, convidado por sua tia Marthe, viaja para diversos continentes, visitando templos e centros sagrados, adquirindo conhecimento sobre outras culturas e sobre algumas das religiões praticadas no mundo, em busca de uma ajuda espiritual. A obra demonstra a diversidade religiosa existente no mundo e de como o ser humano tem se dado conta disso, principalmente devido ao efeito da globalização. Essa diversidade tem gerado estudos e chamado a atenção de teólogos, antropólogos, cientistas da religião e de estudiosos de outros campos do conhecimento. Buscou-se, neste artigo, uma análise da obra A Viagem de Théo, apontando os elementos que remetem às ideias de pluralismo religioso e suas implicações. A obra aborda o divino por meio da linguagem literária e, por retratar aspectos de diversas religiões, aponta que o diálogo inter-religioso ou interfé envolve respeito e abertura para falar e ouvir, a aprender com o outro, a conscientizar de que o diálogo envolve pessoas e não determinada religião ou instituição religiosa. Tais premissas despertam uma reflexão sobre a forma de ser cristão pelo viés da polidoxia, que reconhece a diversidade dentro da religião cristã como também a pluralidade de comunidades religiosas e espirituais do mundo.Abstract Theo’s Journey: Romance of religions, authored by the philosopher Catherine Clément, narrates the spiritual journey of the character Théodore Fournay (Théo), a young French who suffers from a serious illness and, at the invitation of his aunt Marthe, they travel to different continents, visiting temples and sacred centers, acquiring knowledge about other cultures and some religious practiced in the world, seeking spiritual help. The book demonstrates the religious diversity that exists in the world and how human beings have become aware of it, mainly due to the effect of globalization. This diversity has generated studies and has drawn attention of theologians, anthropologists, scientists of religion and the theoristis from other fields of knowledge. Through this article we seek an analysis of the work The Theo’s Journey , pointing out the elements that refer to the ideas of Religious Pluralism and its implications. The Journey of Theo, which beyond the description of some aspects of various religions, approached the divine through literary language, and points out that interreligious or interfaith dialogue should be faced with respect and openness to talk and listen, learn from each other, aware that dialogue involves people, religious or otherwise, and not a particular religion or religious institution. Such premises arouse a reflection on the way of being Christian through the bias of polidoxy, which recognizes the diversity within the Christian religion as well as the plurality of religious and spiritual communities in the world.

Este artigo pretende introduzir o leitor a importância de se trabalhar em sala de aula a valorização da liberdade religiosa. Buscamos trabalhar as questões relacionadas às culturas, tema central das discussões educacionais na vida contemporânea. A complexidade das relações, tensões e conflitos na sociedade atual, leva-nos a pesquisar de forma mais profunda as possibilidades de atuação dos docentes em incorporarem as identidades plurais, políticas e inter-religiosas no ambiente de educação. O Brasil é um país rico em diversidade étnica, cultural, religiosa e imigrante. Contudo, ao longo de nossa história, têm existido preconceitos, relações de discriminação e exclusão social que impedem muitos brasileiros de terem uma vivência plena de cidadania plural crítica e participativa. Assim, enfatizamos que a disciplina de Ensino Religioso, ensinada através da concepção da liberdade religiosa pode contribuir para uma educação que vise o respeito às diferenças.This article intends to introduce the reader to the importance of working in the classroom to value religious freedom. We seek to work on issues related to cultures, the central theme of educational discussions in contemporary life. The complexity of relationships, tensions and conflicts in today's society leads us to research in a deeper way the possibilities of teachers to incorporate plural, political and interreligious identities in the education environment. Brazil is a country rich in ethnic, cultural, religious and immigrant diversity. However, throughout our history, there have been prejudices, relations of discrimination and social exclusion that prevent many Brazilians from having a full experience of critical and participatory plural citizenship. Thus, we emphasize that the discipline of Religious Teaching taught through the conception of religious freedom can contribute to an education that aims at respecting differences.

ResumoBaseado em recorte de pesquisa desenvolvida no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação apresentado à Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto, o estudo investigou como a laicidade do Estado brasileiro e a diversidade religiosa foram abordadas nos Encontros de Metodologia e Filosofia de Ensino Religioso nas tricentenárias cidades de Ouro Preto e Mariana (MG). A formação era oferecida aos professores de ensino religioso das redes pública e privada pela Secretaria de Estado da Educação/SRE Ouro Preto e Arquidiocese de Mariana. Adotou-se análise qualitativa, pesquisa documental, observação-participante, entrevista semiestruturada e questionários para identificar a proposta pedagógica das reuniões e compreender e analisar como a diversidade religiosa e o conceito de Estado laico eram abordados. Os resultados mostraram que a diversidade religiosa não foi respeitada, o Estado não regulou tais práticas pedagógicas e que as formações podem ser consideradas inadequadas para formação de professores, considerando os princípios da escola pública e laica.Palavras-chave: Ensino Religioso; Laicidade; Diversidade Religiosa.Secularity of Education in question: religious education meetings in Ouro Preto and Mariana citiesAbstractBased on part of a research carried cut in the Graduate Program in Education presented to the Federal University of Ouro Preto, the study investigated how the secular nature of the Brazilian State and religious diversity were addressed in the Methodology Meetings and Religious Teaching of Philosophy in the three hundred years cities of Ouro Preto and Mariana (MG). The training was offered to religious education teachers in public and private schools by the Ministry of Education/SRE Ouro Preto and Mariana Archdiocese. It was adopted a qualitative analysis, documentary research, participant observation, semi-structured interviews and questionnaires to identify the pedagogical proposal of the meetings and understand and analyze how religious diversity and the concept of secular state were addressed. The results showed that religious diversity is not respected, the state did not regulate such teaching practices and that training may be considered inadequate teacher training, considering the principles of public and secular school.Keywords: Religious Education; Secularity; Religious Diversity.

Resultando evidentes las desigualdades por razónde sexo existentes en el ámbito del fenómeno religioso dentro yfuera de nuestras fronteras, se antoja sobradamente interesanteafrontar el desafío jurídico de estudiar, en el contexto de la diversidadreligiosa, el papel de la mujer y su posible discriminación o noen dicho ámbito en nuestra España del siglo xxi. Dentro de la inmensadimensión que abarca el referido fenómeno, nos centraremosen los conflictos en los que sean parte los intereses de la mujercuando se desarrollen en el ámbito de las principales confesionescon arraigo en nuestro país. El objetivo principal de este estudioha sido describir los más importantes conflictos acaecidos y en losque se observa discriminación de la mujer en el ámbito religioso, asaber, principalmente el debate suscitado en torno al porte del veloislámico, pero también otras posibles discriminaciones en el ámbitoreligioso: los delitos de odio por razón de género en el ámbitoreligioso, el acceso a los puestos de autoridad eclesiástica por partede las mujeres en las distintas confesiones religiosas, la mutilacióngenital femenina…, dejando palpable la necesaria exigencia deigualdad de género que consideramos debería existir en el ámbitode la diversidad religiosa. Finalmente, vamos a plantear en este estudioaquello que, a nuestro entender, puede ser exigible a los Estados,y más concretamente al Estado español, para garantizar launiversalidad de los derechos de las mujeres en el marco de las religiones.Being evident the inequalities by reason of sex existingin the scope of the religious phenomenon inside and outsideour borders, it seems very interesting to face the legal challenge ofstudying, in the context of religious diversity, the role of womenand their possible discrimination or not in this area in our Spain ofthe xxi Century. Within the immense dimension encompassed bythis phenomenon, we will focus on the conflicts in which the interestsof women are part when they develop within the scope of themain confessions rooted in our country. The main objective of thisstudy has been to describe the most important conflicts that haveoccurred and in which there is discrimination against women inthe religious sphere, namely, mainly the debate about the wearingof the Islamic headscarf, but also other possible discriminations inthe religious sphere: hate crimes on the grounds of gender in thereligious sphere, access to positions of ecclesiastical authority bywomen in different religious confessions, female genital mutilation..., leaving palpable the necessary requirement of equality of genderthat we believe should exist in the area of religious diversity. Finally,we will propose in this study that which, in our opinion, maybe required from the States, and more specifically from the SpanishState, to guarantee the universality of women’s rights withinthe framework of religions.

Resumo:Este texto surge das discussões decorrentes da disciplina do Seminário Avançado IV, desenvolvida no âmbito do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Luterana do Brasil - ULBRA. A diversidade religiosa é hoje um dos temas mais discutidos no contexto social. Por isso, divulgar o discurso sobre as religiões africanas, em particular a Umbanda, é, sem dúvida, um passo importante para a contenção de hábitos e práticas preconceituosas. O objetivo deste texto é apresentar a Umbanda como uma religião genuinamente brasileira, enfatizando a importância dos corpos e seus movimentos ao som dos atabaques no processo análogo de culto para os adeptos da fé. Os resultados evidenciam que o desconhecimento do movimento religioso de Umbanda, seus objetos/ símbolos sagrados e seus cultos/ ritos é o fator impulsionador que se alavanca tanto da intolerância religiosa quanto do preconceito e exclusão religiosa de seus integrantes e participantes. Concluindo, destacamos a necessidade urgente de estratégias capazes de promover o respeito à diversidade religiosa e o combate à intolerância; afinal, a Umbanda é uma religião originariamente brasileira que expressa aspectos de nossa cultura, de nosso povo e sua trajetória sócio histórica contribui para a materialização de atos e expressões enraizados em nosso imaginário, podendo assim contribuir com o social, cultural e individual, bem como minimizar o preconceito e a intolerância religiosa.Palavras-chave: Umbanda; diversidade religiosa; cultura espiritual.Abstract: This text arises from discussions arising from the discipline of Advanced Seminar IV, developed within the scope of the Graduate Program in Education at the Lutheran University of Brazil - ULBRA. Religious diversity is today one of the most discussed topics in the social context. Therefore, disseminating the discourse on African religions, in particular Umbanda, is undoubtedly an important step towards containing prejudiced habits and practices. The objective of this text is to present Umbanda as a genuinely Brazilian religion, emphasizing the importance of bodies and their movements to the sound of atabaques in the analogous process of worship for the followers of the faith. The results show that the lack of knowledge of the Umbanda religious movement, its sacred objects/symbols and its cults/rites is the driving factor that leverages both religious intolerance and the prejudice and religious exclusion of its members and participants. In conclusion, we highlight the urgent need for strategies capable of promoting respect for religious diversity and the fight against intolerance; after all, Umbanda is an originally Brazilian religion that expresses aspects of our culture, our people and its socio-historical trajectory contributes to the materialization of acts and expressions rooted in our imagination, thus being able to contribute to the social, cultural and individual, as well as minimize prejudice and religious intolerance. Recently in Brazil, diversity has become a guiding principle in formulating public policy, and “interreligious spaces” have been established in public hospitals for the use of religious groups of various kinds. An examination of the use of these spaces in two major public hospitals in Porto Alegre makes it clear that religious diversity has fundamental political dimensions involving the representation and recognition of social groups and that a commitment to religious pluralism does not rule out other hegemonies. Recentemente no Brasil, a diversidade tornou-se um princípio norteador para a formulação de políticas públicas. Consequentemente, “espaços interreligiosos” veem sendo estabelecidos em hospitais públicos para serem utilizados por diversos grupos religiosos. Uma análise dessa utilização, em dois importantes hospitais na cidade de Porto Alegre, demonstra com clareza que a diversidade religiosa apresenta dimensões políticas fundamentais que abarcam a representação e o reconhecimento de grupos sociais. Ademais, atesta que o comprometimento com o pluralismo religioso não exclui outras hegemonias.

Este artigo é um recorte de uma pesquisa em andamento em um Programa de Mestrado em Ciências das Religiões. Neste trabalho é apresentada uma proposta de ferramenta para evitar a violência e a discriminação por motivos religiosos. No primeiro momento faz-se uma abordagem sobre os conflitos no âmbito laboral que podem ter influência da religião. A seguir é tratado o tema religião e liberdade religiosa. Depois são apresentados alguns posicionamentos sobre a violência por motivos religiosos. Por fim é apresentada uma proposta de ferramenta para gestão da diversidade religiosa no ambiente de trabalho, elaborada a partir do documento “Managing Religious Diversity In The Workplace: A Good Practice Guide”, desenvolvido pela ENAR – European Network Against Racism, no ano de 2015. Espera-se com este trabalho contribuir com a construção de ambientes laborais mais saudáveis, com maior respeito pelas diversas crenças religiosas e principalmente com menor violência e discriminação por motivos religiosos.

The role of religion in Latin American politics can no longer be interpreted with reductionist schemes. The faithful—citizens—are combining faith and politics in unprecedented ways, and churches and denominations are no longer factors of political identity. The reconfiguration of new social and political movements interweaves complex linkages with the religious. The transformations of the political field and especially of democratic processes have reshaped identities in a context of increasing religious and cultural diversity with relatively less Catholic presence and greater Evangelical presence. Institutional secularization and religious pluralism seem to go hand in hand with a new cleavage between religion and politics.La presencia de lo religioso en el campo político latinoamericano ya no puede ser interpretada con esquemas reduccionistas. Los fieles—ciudadanos—entremezclan fe y política de maneras inéditas, y las iglesias y denominaciones ya no son factor de identidad política. La re-configuración de los nuevos movimientos sociales y políticos entretejen vinculaciones complejas con lo religioso. Las transformaciones del campo político y en especial de los procesos democráticos han redefinido las identidades en un contexto de diversidad religiosa y cultural creciente con menor presencia relativa católica y mayor presencia evangélica. Secularización institucional y garantía del pluralismo religioso parecen ir de la mano con un nuevo clivaje entre religión y política.

O presente ensaio aborda questões epistemológicas do Ensino Religioso no Brasil tendo como aporte teórico o paradigma da complexidade de Edgar Morin e a abordagem transdisciplinar. Até o presente o Ensino Religioso público é tratado de modo ambíguo pelos sistemas de ensino do país, atuando tanto para a formação geral do cidadão quanto para a filiação religiosa de Igrejas. Tal situação torna a disciplina frágil e vulnerável à crítica por parte daqueles que defendem o estatuto do Estado laico e o ensino positivista. Entretanto, parece-nos que não se trata de excluir o ensino sobre a religião de dentro da escola, mas de contornar os seus limites através de novos paradigmas. Desta forma, acreditamos que a emergência do paradigma de complexidade e a abordagem transdisciplinar na educação podem ajudar o Ensino Religioso a redimensionar os seus limites e a sua prática em vista do ensino laico e o respeito à diversidade cultural religiosa do Brasil.
LAY RELIGIOUS TEACHING: A COMPLEX AND TRANSDISCIPLINARY LOOK
This essay addresses epistemological issues of religious education in Brazil with theoretical contribution of the paradigm of complexity of Edgar Morin and the transdisciplinary approach. Til up to date the public religious education is treated so ambiguous by the education systems of the country, acting both for general formation of citizens as to the religious affiliation of churches. Such a situation makes the discipline fragile and vulnerable to criticism from those who argue for the status of the secular State and the positivist school. However, it seems to us that this is not to exclude the teaching about religion in school, but to go round its limits through new paradigms. In this way, we believe that the emergence of the paradigm of complexity and the transdisciplinary approach in education can help the Religious Teaching to give another dimension to its limits and practice in order of lay Teaching and respect to the cultural and religious diversity in Brazil.

In this text we try to appoint the various actors of society that have influenced the type of religious teaching in Brazil, its changes of perspective and the social place occupied by each of them. The article is devoted to the study of the specifics of the formation of religious meanings with the help of the intraword hyponymic (genus-species) relations. It was revealed t hat in semantic structures of lexemes, this type of semantic derivation is capable of actively deploying stable specialized religious(specific, hyponymic) meanings from commonly used (generic, hypernymic) ones. It was also found that in times of Christianization, the fixation of hyponyms often led to the disappearance of hypernyms. The process of transferring religious hyponyms without hypernyms from other languages into the Old Kyiv language was quite active. Forming a paradigm through hyponymic relations reflects a variety of changes in the represented reality associated with the linguistically conservative religious sphere of Ukrainians: the names remained unchanged, while language objects, acquiring new functions, changed, and the speakers’ knowledge of the objects deepened.

Interfaith Scotland (IFS) represents a substantial number of religious bodies in Scotland and the representation of non-Christian religious minorities is fundamental to the interfaith movement. In a country in which religious minorities make up a tiny fraction of the population, in comparison with England and other European countries, narratives of diversity have become more prominent in the public sphere. Interfaith Scotland has depended on the world religions paradigm to promote its version of religious pluralism as embodied in its structure and represented in its literature, reinforcing the equivalency and paramount importance of the ‘major traditions’, while groups which do not fit neatly into one of these traditions have no representation on the organisation’s governing board. On the other hand, the world religions approach means that religious groups like the Scottish Pagan Federation are re-made according to that mould in Interfaith literature, with stress on an overarching intellectualised tradition constructed from disparate sources. This closely parallels the processes out of which the world religions paradigm arose in the 19th century with the construction of ‘Hinduism’, ‘Buddhism’ and other world religions as discrete intellectualised traditions.

(Too) many times, however, diversity has been measured against the yardstick of the changing face of monotheistic models of religion (mainly Christianity). Asian religions have stood at the opposite end of a spectrum of analytical models in religious studies ever since Max Weber’s classic analysis of Asian religions as mixed systems of beliefs per se. This distinction is, nevertheless, rather problematic, and calls for a closer examination of the conceptual status of diversity, and of the forms it assumes in Asian contexts.

I will be concerned with only one problem about truth which is raised by the diversity of religions which exist in the world. The problem is this: many religions claim to state truths about the nature of the universe and human destiny which are important or even necessary for human salvation and ultimate well-being. Many of these truths seem to he incompatible; yet there is no agreed method for deciding which are to he accepted; and equally intelligent, informed, virtuous and holy people belong to different faiths. It seems, therefore, that a believing member of any one tradition is compelled to regard all other traditions as holding false beliefs and therefore as not leading to salvation. Since each faith forms a minority of the world's population, all religious believers thus seem committed to saying that most intelligent, virtuous and spiritually devoted people cannot know the truth or attain salvation. This is a problem, because it is in tension with the belief, held by many traditions, that the supremely real being is concerned for the salvation of all rational creatures. How can this he so if, through no fault of their own, most creatures cannot come to know the truth and thereby attain salvation?

SummaryThe article deals with the concept of religion in the contemporary theology of religions. Many theologians in the current debate work with a general concept of religion. Such a conception of religion unifies the distinctive religious diversities. This article argues that against the background of the previous debate, a theology of religions must proceed from a concept of religion as communication. This concept emerges out of the Christian religious tradition: it carries a particular meaning and hence should not be treated as universally applicable. Starting with a concrete concept of religion, a theology of religion has the task neither to give a foundation for other “religions”, nor that of Christianity. Only this could be a basis for a real pluralistic conception. From this starting point follows the question on how other religions understand religion.

The traditional religious landscape is changing considerably, and the current religious landscape exhibits a remarkable variety. The religious landscape was shifting. Today in Europe there are three general trends – secularization, new spirituality and immigrant religions such as Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism additional to Judeo-Christian tradition. Phenomenological approaches are crucial for developing new and deepening existing modes of cooperation between dissimilar cultures and religions. Using phenomenological approach we look on religious landscape of Vilnius as pluralistic from the two general views: old historical, traditional source and nowadays the increasing diversity. The article includes a short discussion about definition of ‘religious landscape’ and the possibilities of its interpretation. Using definition epochē from phenomenological point of view we conclude that religious landscape of Vilnius is pluralistic. This article argues for critical reflection on diachronic and quantitative claims about increasing religious diversity. Influential scholars in several national academies have asserted there is “increasing religious diversity” in various locales. Many also make specific claims about religious diversity in the past to enable comparative claims about religious diversity in the present or even in the future. Yet, such claims are flawed methodologically (though less flawed alternatives are available). Moreover, neither the professional ethos of curatorial caution nor the pluralist politics commonly accompanying such scholarship are well served by this approach. Since the study of new or emergent religions also entails central historical conceits—for example, in debates over the proper meaning of “new” or over precise relations to “modernity”—this article offers a comparative perspective to conclude that scholars working in the fields of new religions studies and religious diversity studies should be more aware of the basic historical frameworks into which they place their multidisciplinary practices, practices that could be enriched and strengthened by further dialogue with historians.

ResumoEste artigo tem como objetivo discutir a importância de um trabalho pedagógico que contemple a diversidade cultural religiosa nas escolas públicas a partir da experiência e/ou visão de sujeitos candomblecistas. A pesquisa foi realizada num terreiro de Candomblé de Nação Ketu em Caruaru-PE, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas, tendo como aporte teórico os estudos pós-coloniais e guiada pelo Método do Caso Alargado. Neste sentido, discutimos a prática pedagógica eurocêntrica presente na formação dos professores, diante da necessidade de se trabalhar com a cultura africana no âmbito escolar. Desta forma, encontramos a importância dos conhecimentos existentes no Candomblé, como fonte de saberes relacionados à cultura africana para o trabalho com a Lei 10.639/03 no âmbito escolar e também como alternativa para minimizar a intolerância religiosa presente contra esta religião na sociedade.Palavras-Chave: Candomblé; Intolerância Religiosa; Educação étnico-racial)Education and religious diversity: where is the knowledge about the African religious tradition in the Law 10.639/03?AbstractThis article has the aim to discuss the importance for a pedagogical work that contemplates the religious cultural diversity in public schools from the experience and/or subject candomblecistas vision. The research was carried out in a yard of Candomblé Ketu nation in Caruaru-PE, through semi-structured interviews, having as theoretical support the post-colonial studies and guided by the Case Method Extended. In this sense, we discuss the Eurocentric pedagogical practice present in the training of teachers, given the need to work with African culture in schools. So, we found out the importance of the existing knowledge in the Candomblé, as a source of African knowledge to work with Law 10,639/03 in the school and also as an alternative to minimize this religious intolerance against this religion in society.Keywords: Candomblé; Religious intolerance; Ethnic-racial education.

Resumen: El fenómeno de la globalización ha trasformado nuestros centros educativos en entornos plurales. La diversidad cultural se concentra y convive en ellos, y las creencias religiosas, que se aprenden dentro de las culturas, constituyen una cuestión social y política, de primer orden, por lo que deben ser atendidas de manera prioritaria en la investigación científico-social así como sus implicaciones educativas. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo descifrar primero y describir después el pensamiento implícito de los jóvenes sobre la diversidad religiosa y la enseñanza de la religión en España utilizando como base el proyecto europeo REDCo (Religion in Education. A contribution to dialogue or a factor of conflict in transforming societies of European Countries), proyecto financiado por el Departamento de Investigación de la Comisión Europea para establecer las potencialidades y limitaciones de la religión en los sistemas educativos de ocho países seleccionados, a saber, Estonia, Rusia, Noruega, Alemania, Países bajos, Inglaterra, Francia y España. El instrumento utilizado para la recogida de información es un cuestionario validado por REDCo. Se implementó a 385 estudiantes de cuatro centros de Educación Secundaria de Córdoba (España) caracterizados por su compleja y líquida diversidad de creencias. Los análisis descriptivos señalan, primero, el interés del alumnado por conocer otras religiones y/o concepciones del mundo a través de agrupaciones flexibles; segundo, la existencia de diferentes experiencias relacionadas con la enseñanza de la religión y, tercero, su posición dispareja respecto a los modelos didácticos empleados en la enseñanza de la religión.Abstract: The phenomenon of globalisation has transformed our educational centres into plural environments. Cultural diversity is concentrated and coexists in them; and religious beliefs, which are learned within cultures, constitute a major social and political issue which must be therefore addressed as a priority in scientific-social research, as well as its educational implications. This aim of this research work is to figure out and then describe the implicit thinking of young people about religious diversity and the teaching of religion in Spain, using the European project REDCo (Religion in Education: A contribution to dialogue or a factor of conflict in transforming societies of European Countries) as a basis. This project is funded by the Research Department of the European Commission and is intended to establish the potentialities and limitations of religion in the educational systems of eight different countries, namely Estonia, Russia, Norway, Germany, Netherlands, England, France and Spain. The instrument used for the collection of data has been a questionnaire validated by RDCo. It was administered to 385 students from four Secondary Education centres in Córdoba (Spain), characterised by their complex and changing diversity of beliefs. The descriptive analyses indicate, first, the interest of students to understand other religions and/or worldviews through flexible grouping; second; the existence of different experiences with religion in the school and, third; the varying positions of students with respect to the different models of teaching religion.

Uma religião sem espiritualidade é uma ideologia. O artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre os caminhos e descaminhos das religiões e os perigos que as envolvem, quando se apresentam sem a raiz comum e integradora que é a espiritualidade. Mostra distinções que podem ser feitas entre religião e espiritualidade e desvios aos quais podem estar sujeitas, quando fundamentadas em ritos e significados que as distinguem das outras, mas que em lugar de manifestar a beleza da diversidade, justificam ideologias de dominação. Para isso, uma grande contribuição pode vir das teses principais da física quântica no que tange à compreensão de célula, rede e DNA da célula e rede. Esses conceitos podem ser relacionados com as posições teológicas do “uno” e do “alter” para a formação da comunidade religiosa, social e política.Abstract: Religion without spirituality is an ideology. The article proposes a reflexion about the vicissitudes of the religions and the dangers that involve them when they present themselves without the common and integrating root that is spirituality. It shows the distinctions that might be made between religion and spirituality and the deviations they may be subjected to when based on rites and meanings that distinguish them from the others but that, instead of manifesting the beauty of the diversity, justify ideologies of domination. For this purpose, a major contribution may come from the main theses of quantum physics with regard to the understanding of the cell, of the cell’s network and DNA and of network. These concepts may be related to the theological positions of the “one” and of the “alter” for the formation of the religious, social and political community.Keywords: Religion. Religions. Catàleg de les escriptores valencianes dels segles XVI-XVIII (Herrero 2009) suposava un punt de partida en la compilació de «lletraferides» valencianes de l’Edat Moderna. Aquest ajudà a rescatar els seus noms, però el major handicap radica en la diversitat en la localització física dels textos. A través d’una visió dels diferents gèneres que empraren aquestes escriptores, en especial les religioses (poesia, mística, auto/biografia espiritual…), avancem algunes conclusions que permetran una anàlisi sociolingu?ística, literària i de gènere d’eixes obres.Paraules clau: Catàleg, Localizació textual, Autores religioses, Valencianes, Modernes.Abstract: The catalogue entitled Lletraferides modernes. Catàleg de les escriptores valencianes dels segles XVI-XVIII (Herrero 2009) provided a starting point for the compilation of Valencian «women of letters» in the Modern Age. Although this catalogue helped to recover the names of these authors, the process is greatly hindered by the diversity of textual localisation. RESUMO: Este trabalho propõe o estudo da celebração da Marujada na Festa de Nossa Senhora do Rosário em Felício dos Santos, Minas Gerais, referente aos anos de 2003 a 2009. O objetivo central consiste no estudo da expressão da religiosidade popular dos moradores locais por meio da pesquisa histórica sobre as práticas devocionais realizadas pelos marujos do município. A metodologia empregada pautou-se na revisão bibliográfica e nas análises de fontes documentais (atas, dossiês, inventários) custodiadas pelas entidades públicas e privadas do lugar. A literatura utilizada pautou-se em autores da temática festivo-religiosa, a saber: Jancsó; Kantor (2001), Amaral (1998) e Brandão (1974). A pesquisa permitiu inferir que a celebração da Marujada em Felício dos Santos é uma manifestação permeada de simbologias, signos, sentidos, rituais que se mesclam aos rituais festivos da Igreja Católica fazendo com que emerge um sincretismo de culturas populares.

Islamic religious education, including subjects that must be given to students who are Muslim, even though these students study at non-Islamic schools. Likewise, on the other hand, Islamic schools must also facilitate religious education in accordance with the religions of their students. Santo Paulus Catholic High School Jember, including a school that facilitates Islamic religious education for Muslim students. Uniquely, there is a religiosity subject, which includes all universal values in the official religion in Indonesia. The focus of this research is, how is the portrait and dynamics of Islamic religious education in non-Muslim schools (Catholic schools)? In this context, the authors chose a qualitative approach in data mining and processing. Interviews, document studies, observation, data research are the techniques chosen in research data collection. The research findings: 1) SMA Catholic Santo Paulus Jember has 6 Islamic religious education teachers, but they are not in accordance with the qualifications of the subjects they are teaching, 2) apart from PAI subjects, SMA Catholic Santo Paulus Jember strengthens students with religiosity lessons, namely lessons which includes universal values of all religions, 3) SMA Catholic Santo Paulus Jember is in demand by students from the six official religions in Indonesia.

O teólogo Karl Rahner, um dos mais importantes e criativos teólogos da tradição católica no século XX, teve um papel fundamental no incentivo à abertura da igreja católico-romana às diversas tradições religiosas. Este artigo tem como objetivo traçar os passos fundamentais da reflexão de Rahner sobre o tema das religiões, com base nos diversos textos produzidos por ele a respeito. Partindo de sua antropologia teológica, que sinaliza a compreensão do ser humano como evento da autocomunicação de Deus, o artigo visa a abordar a questão de sua percepção do lugar positivo assumido pelas religiões no plano salvífico de Deus e indicar os passos de sua abordagem sobre o tema do “cristianismo anônimo”. Ao final, busca-se fazer uma avaliação de sua perspectiva inclusivista.ABSTRACT: Karl Rahner, one of the most important and creative theologians of the Catholic Tradition in the 20th Century, played a fundamental role stimulating the openness of the Roman-Catholic Church toward the diverse religious traditions. The article’s objective is to trace the fundamental steps of Rahner’s reflection concerning religions. It’s based on a diversity of texts produced by him about this theme. Stemming from his anthropological theology, which signals a comprehension of the human being as an event of the self-communication of God, the article seeks to engage in the notion of his perception of the positive place assumed by religions in God’s salvific plan. And also, indicating the steps he took while undertaking the theme “Anonymous Christian”. In the end, the article seeks to present an evaluation of his inclusivist perspective.
