Bagolin, Eduardo Ilha.

Full textThe aim of this thesis is to construct a model for evaluating training programs and to check its relevance by confronting it with empirical data. We conducted this intervention-research in the framework of a call for proposals and evaluated a social experiment bearing the characteristics of a training program. Within this context of commissioned research, we explain the emergence of an area for the research and articulation of a social dimension (for praxeological purposes) and an academic dimension (for heuristic purposes). The evaluation model is based on the method of accountability but also on the development of the actors involved. It mobilizes two different methodological orientations: “acquiring knowledge to objectify” and “acquiring knowledge to interpret”. The first takes a quantitative approach and measures the efficiency of the program; the second completes the first and facilitates its interpretation. The second orientation takes a qualitative approach measuring the cognitive developments of the training beneficiaries, characterizing the unexpected effects and efficiency as perceived by the actors involved. Thanks to the data analysis, we have been able to consolidate certain elements of the model, highlight some of its limits and offer some leverage points to help stabilize it. We propose adding a component to the second orientation “acquiring knowledge to interpret”, in order to focus on the analysis of change in the implementation of the program. Likewise, we provide five methodological, axiological, heuristic, epistemological and political leverage points which strengthen the general coherence of the model. The evaluation model has withstood the confrontation with empirical data

Full textThis dissertation forms part of the Line Formation, Knowledge and Professional Development Post-Graduate Program in Education, of Federal University of Santa Maria. Taking as reference the formative experience of the Group of Studies and Research in Social Education and Imaginary GEPEIS, through the device group, we performed the research that has as study objective the Undergraduate Supplementary Discipline (elective) denominated Groupal Device and Teacher Formation, offered to Pedagogy course (diurnal) of the same university. The methodology employed was cartography, in which, through the observations of the participants, the group experiences, the narratives seized and records in the gradebook, configure the data of this research. In theoretical, about the formation issues we start from Ferry (2004); Nóvoa (2009), the theories of group Pichin-Rivière (1998), Barros (2009); Souto (2003), Fernandez (2006); Bleger ( 1998); Quiroga (1989), Oliveira (2006, 2009). For data analysis was used the hermeneutics approach from Delory-Momberger (2008); Gadamer (2008). Thus, the collective production of subjectivities processes around the formation of future teachers, and the group as a formation device, especially the importance of the teaching practice, shaped the study. Composing these processes, such as cartographic exercise meant much more than search : instigated and involved researchers and researched around the reflection of "place" of Groupal Device and its importance to teacher formation. Therefore, the context in which the formation of academics occurred in relation to theories of group, considering the complexity of this space, was permeated with significant learning related to the importance of this knowledge the groupal device - for the formation of teachers, school and Education.
Thesis, Normandie, 2020. http://www.theses.fr/2020NORMR090.
Full textThis PhD Thesis is part of the field of Information and Communication Sciences and deals with the question of information architecture as a paradigm for distance learning devices. A theoretical and conceptual framework located in the notion of device (micro, meso and macro scales) and anchored in the study of uses (“Sociologie des usages” and “Sociologie de l’innovation”) makes it possible to position information architecture as an intermediate principle between the designer-user relationship and raises the following research question: how is mediation operated in distance learning devices? The hypothesis is that in such devices, the functional perspective takes precedence over the normative perspective of communication. This hypothesis is tested through a qualitative approach which is based on the one hand on an observation of distance learning interfaces and on the other hand on semi-structured interviews conducted with the design teams. The case study is about M@gistère, a device dedicated to the training of teachers. It emerges from the content analysis that in fact, in M@gistère it is the normative perspective that prevails over the functional perspective of communication, even if in this device the context seems to take precedence over the content and over the users. The study also shows that information architecture is at the service of mediation in a device. Mediation is a facilitator of uses and appropriation. Finally, the study contributes to information architecture through a model to observe the interface of a distance training device and analyze the organization of information

Full textSituations where information and communication technologies are used in education and training, and such intermediate information and learning structures as documentation centres and resource centres, are a theatre where actors are led to redefine their relationships, their places, their roles and their challenges. Often, when these technologies are presented as a lever for collective learning, the play in this revealing theatre has yet to be written, since the actors are learning together to reorganise the decor so as to replay their life stories and reproduce a known pedagogical model. From a multi-reference analysis of learning situations and work situations in middle school, high school and adult education, focusing on the relational aspect of learning, we can draw out a few guiding principles for a form of individual, collective and organisational learning that will not be based on individual and collective inquisitions

Full textThis research has as its object of study the dispersions of the formative rationalities: the way in which, in our time, the idea of formation, understood as act of educative interference in the individual and/or collective modes of being, has spread towards ever more quotidian spaces and relations that reach far beyond the school sphere. Taking into account the context of post-structuralist studies chiefly based on Foucauldian analyses, this work is based on mapping out discursive saturations around the issue of formation, seeing it as a fundamental element of the biopolitical rationale that has found in the individual life, mainly since the emergence of liberalism, effective possibilities of governing. Of cartographical inspiration, and based on a rereading of Roland Barthes concept of mythology, the study focuses firstly on identifying what have been regarded as fundamental formative myths representations of representations that construct socially naturalized images associated, in the present case, to teacher formation. From these reflections, whence six social formative myths were derived the complex formation, the multiple formation, the measurable formation, the competent formation, the advisable formation, the reformable formation , one seeks, during the second stage of the research, to define the way in which such mythology is dispersed, on the one hand, in official discourses laden with educational legislation and productions of international organisms and, on the other hand, in dispersed daily discourses focused on the formation for life and for work, through the analysis of issues of a weekly periodical of large national circulation and of transcriptions of discussions promoted within an event targeted at the formation of workers. The analyses allowed the construction of a map of discursive operations capable of integrating formativity and questions associated to the sphere of labor and to the modes of being. From that results the construction of an amalgam which, if through some movements promotes the valuation of a moral sense of formativity already present in the Enlightenment notion of Bildung, bringing it up to date and giving it some inversions, through other movements integrates such productions into a path of personal preparation. This path ends up conferring to the act of forming (oneself) an emphasis which is above all instrumental, converting the good man into a good worker, and endowing his very existence with a meaning which is above all functional. The coming into being of the rationalities that allow such configuration takes place from dispersive processes inherent to the device of modern formation: there are dispersions through complexity, through the social seal of approval, through the liquidity of acquisitions, through individual commitment, through the qualification of knowledges and through collective partnership. Such modes of spreading eventually give to the contemporary formative question rather epidemic contours, capable of encompassing the daily life through reasons that are, above all, associated to forms of consuming and of remaining viable in market terms: a hyperformativity, therefore, capable of converting life itself in a process of constant preparation for something.
Full textOpen trainings in foreign language have the dual purpose of enabling learners to acquire learning autonomy and language autonomy. These trainings combine several kinds of pedagogical support in order to focus on the learner and to consider its dispositions (representations, motivations). As a researcher and a teacher/counselor in an on-site training (the Department of French as a Foreign Language at the University of Lorraine - DEFLE), we have noticed that some learners seem to have difficulty in developing their language and learning autonomy. This action research aims to assess the learning experiences of the learners within the framework of the training and identify the possible causes of success or failure of their autonomisation process. Several questions guide our research: to what extent does the training allow learners to acquire learning and language skills ? What are the pedagogical support that best promote autonomisation ? What changes could be made to our teaching practices in order to better take into account the uniqueness of learners at a psycho-socio-cognitive level ? To answer these questions, we carried out an evaluation on foreign students of the DEFLE at the beginning and the end of their training session. Our protocol includes six tools that allow us to evaluate the effects of the training on the learners' autonomisation. It is based on the collection of quantitative and qualitative data through interviews, questionnaires and tests. The results of our evaluation show resonances and dissonances between the aim of autonomisation of the training, the expectations and perceptions of the learners. This is to eventually propose the changes necessary to optimize the operation of the training and validate at the same time a set of instruments for measuring and assessing, transferable to other trainings

Full textThe thesis begins with a report: a tension is similar of " the evaluation of the skills " which becomes pregnant as much from the point of view of the action as abstract: from the point of view of the action, this work raise a synonymic evaluation of recognition by the value which she wishes to attribute. " The evaluation of the skills " is in tension by the set up devices, bringing more to an evaluation of objects by figures, and checkboxes: it appears the strengthening of tools (reference tables, assessment grids, etc.) and confidential practices (closed plenary jury, monopolies of the certification on certain tests). The couple « competence assessment » is based on an apparent contradiction that confronts, on the one hand, a plural density of each idea and, on the other, a barren emptiness of each notion in their epistemic relationship. Our review states reductionism leading to the fragmentation of dynamics into multiple components, their excessive measures, underpinned procedures more alien than twinned. Between the competence « able to » and competence « required » looms the negation of the evaluation. What is the good of evaluating an innate ability or a simple task performance? It is in the light of this torment that fits in a less explanatory or deductive research than a comprehensive one. By positioning these paradoxes in a more dynamic report, we call the Action as a mediator between « evaluation » and « skills ». We question the « act for the evaluators to assess » on the one side the « observable » and « meaningful » by the arrangement of a composite methodology that allows both a fine documentation of the activity and an understanding of the processes risked. The status of the analyzed data is carried by a theoretical framework to be interested in bringing « creativity to act » by its aspects situated, co-distributed, embedded, enacted in the environment. The study then reveals « an act of inquiry under tension »: faced with a skill action is played out an activity on the one hand « multitasking » and obstructed by dilemmas. Mediated by a process of « instrumental genesis », it reports an activity of « investigation », « intimate conviction » and renormalisation. The assessor, lawyer-prosecutor and judge-jury becomes an « expert in coupling » of an undeterminated situation in a « unified whole ». The results reply to two issues. An epistemic issue (re) reconciles the couple « competence assessment » in a single modeling dialogic - a generic « dilemma » where « between assessment and competence, is the action. » A more pragmatic issue brings our object of study to open the debate around engineering devices posing the question of substitution to the act of evaluating. On hearing less the device as a structuring object a « set of heterogeneous elements » relating man to his environment, trains of thought are emerging around the artefactual genesis and the provisions to the referentialisation and to the un-temporality. In conclusion, this work of Thesis develops less an abstract debate of the evaluation and the skill, that to run them " in acts ", through the construction of a theoretical frame. It does not take out posture of it of last authority but a coherence with the frames of the situated cognition. The thesis treats less an "object" than elements in action, being made. The thesis is in what make the evaluators in action: " here is how certain evaluators take out there. " There is no one answer after all … but some answers

Full textIf school must keep its traditional function of insuring the acquisition of knowledge, it also has to provide an education which takes into account the evolution of mentalities and motivations of the present youth. We propose therefore, in the first part, to try to know young people better through a survey realized on six hundred and fifty six teenagers enrolled in middle schools, technical schools and high schools. Nine subjects are discussed : family, school, professional activity, drugs, money, free-time, violence, family love, politics; the results uncover three important existential realities: freedom, responsability, solidarity. We consider, in the second part, what the role o school and teachers culd be by proposing three relational schemes likely to answer the requirements of an education which would provide the development of knowledge but also the personal growth and the acquisition of a social understanding : the "speech group" - a place for expression, the school - a communauty lead by a project, the class - a group with a task. The pedagogical relationship is based on a model of animation which experimentation with and application to the "class group" show that it relies on the complementarity of the effects produced by two functions : the incitement function (stimulating) and the adjustment function (securizing), necessary for a harmonious progression. And this model can be the solution to the problem of the animation of groups centered on the achievement of tasks

Full textThis research aims at analysing the impact, in this case, of the changes led by technopedagogical systems of distance education, on the behavior of learners, trainers or future trainers. To do so, we adopt a systemic approach based on modeling complex systems. The implementation of our model aims at highlighting the interrelations that can exist between the individual and his system, and the structure that may arise, their evolution and their entanglement at different stages. Thus, the dynamics of change is appreciated in its environment, and highlights the active variables in order to build its intelligibility. Our research intention has thus the ambition of not considering the training as a variable explaining the dynamics of change, but to try to understand, like in each training, a set of variables used, leading to results while other variables do not allow it to happen. Our proposal consists of identifying possible relevant variables, the “process variables”. These describe, across time, the space and the processing that are implemented in this dynamics

Full textThe thesis consists of two parts. The first, inherent to Video-pedagogy, investigated the potential, criticalities and resources of devices for Video-education, Video-training and Video-research, which is divided into Video-analysis in teaching contexts. The second part of the thesis outlined a concrete work path: the setting up of a Digital Video-Analysis Laboratory (LDVA) in the specific context of the Degree Course in Primary Education of the University of Bergamo, through the feasibility and transferability analysis of some integrated observation protocols composed of objects (video), tools (hardware, software, analysis grids) and video observation and analysis methodologies, for the subsequent drafting of its own observation and analysis protocol. As regards the objects, the collection and cataloging of Video-Cases was carried out within a Repository, to be implemented over time with additional video materials that document teaching practices (divided by school, themes, problems, educational relationalities, communication methods, applied didactic strategies), which will become the object of observation and analysis by the students, also through the Video-Annotation tool. The thesis ends with a reflection on the immediate prospects and future hypotheses, in the short term (the LDVA will be included in the activities of the indirect internship and in the university projects that will create an ever-closer collaboration with the Territory) and in the long term (the evaluation of the LDVA to highlight its impact in teaching processes oriented towards inclusiveness, the development of evaluative competence, the increase in the perception of self-efficacy).
Thesis, Bordeaux, 2014. http://www.theses.fr/2014BORD0070/document.
Full textLaser-based approaches are among the pioneering works in cell printing. These techniques are being extensively focussed for two or three-dimensional structures of any size in transferring pattern materials including deposition of 3D biological constructs. In this context, Laser-Assisted Bioprinting (LAB), based on Laser-Induced Forward Transfer (LIFT) has emerged as a nozzleless method to surmount the drawbacks (e.g. clogging) of inkjet printing technologies. LAB is a laser direct-write technique that offers printing micropatterns with high spatial resolution from a wide range of solid or liquid materials, such as dielectrics, biomaterials and living cells. The technique enables controlled transfer of droplets onto a receiving substrate. A typical LAB setup comprises three key components: (i) a pulsed laser source, (ii) a ribbon coated with the material to be transferred and (iii) a receiving substrate. The ribbon integrates three layers: (i) a quartz disk support transparent to laser wavelength, (ii) a thin (1–100 nm) absorbing layer (like Ti or Au), and (iii) a bioink layer (few tens of microns) incorporating the material to print. The receiving substrate is faced to the bioink and placed at 100 μm to 1 mm distance from the ribbon. Rapid thermal expansion of metallic layer (on absorbing laser pulse) propels a small volume (~pL) of the ink towards a receiving substrate. Such a metallic interlayer eliminates direct interaction between the laser beam and the bioink. Volume of deposited material depends linearly on the laser pulse energy, and that a minimum threshold energy is required for microdroplet ejection. The thickness of the absorbing layer, viscosity and thickness of the bioink, different optical parameters such as the focus spot and the laser fluence are the controlling parameters to obtain a microscopic resolution and to limit the shock inflicted on the ejected cells. In our research works, we considered experimental approach to study the physical mechanism involved in the LAB using a time-resolved imaging method in order to gain a better insight into the dynamics of the transfer process and to use the technique for printing biomaterials. First we designed and implemented a novel configuration of LAB for upward printing. Then we characterized different ejection regimes to define suitable conditions for bioprinting. We further explored jetting window to study the influence of laser energy on jet dynamics. Ejection dynamics has been investigated by temporal evolution of the liquid jet for their potential use in cell printing. In addition parametric studies like effect of viscosity and printing distance on the morphology of the printed drops were conducted to explore jetting “window”. This configuration allows debris-free printing of fragile bioinks with extremely smooth and uniform edges at larger separation distance (ranging from 3 to 10mm). Material criteria required for realization of the cell printing are discussed and supported by experimental observations obtained by TRI investigation of cell printing from donors with different cell concentrations. These results provide key insights into optimization and better control of transfer mechanism of LAB. Finally, in the light of these studies, a comprehensive mechanism is proposed for printing micro-drops by LAB

Full textIt is possible to develop among student teachers a particular skill in finding adequate responses to specific cases, by training them in advance to conceive of different classroom type of situations, act them out, observe and analyze the results, and possibly change parameters of the inital sequence. A model based upon training-in-action and analysis of action taken was developed by the french "ecoles normales" from 1979 to 1991. There were two kinds of structures: on the one hand, video-training workshops alternating practice and analysis, the "laboratoires d'essais pedagogiques", (Mottet, 1986) ; on the other hand, coaching sessions using the technique of "entretien d'explicitation" developed by Vermersch (1990). Organizing feedback structures using video and explicitation as tools for investigation makes possible creating ways to analyze and modify teaching practices. The process of reflection is made clear in the training structures before being progressively integrated into action

Full textThe aim of this research is to show how ICT take part in the construction/deconstruction of an occupational group and then to contribut to one of the concerns of the Sociology of Professions through Information and Communication Sciences. In an interactionnist perspective, the occupational group can be defined as a composite entity made up of segments, distinct professional realities in negotiation and permanent competition. In this approach, professionalisation of an occupational group can be characterized as a dynamic process of relational configurations between segments which clash and operate various strategies according to their position within the group. This study focus on collective strategies generated by the introduction of ICT into social construction of the occupational group. And our task will consist in analyzing interactions between the identified segments, here characterized as collective actors. The purpose of our thesis is to reveal and to understand the sets of interactions between these collective actors of an occupational group —the segments—, and to comprehend the process of professionalisation. First of all, we will show how ICT uses can reveal a new segmentation of trainers' occupational group and thus characterize several segments. The process of professionalisation which takes part within the occupational group will be, then, questioned through a communications systemic analysis. What kind of relationship and strategies are taking place between these segments ? What is the underlying dynamic behind all these negotiations ?

Full textThis thesis presents itself in the form of an essay as an expression of a desire to problematize on the urgencies of the present and the recent past surrounding the study of organizations, producing effects that spread through the quotidian and creating a specific technology of government - the management dispositive. For this, the essay form is a useful way to deal with a form of knowledge production that seeks problematization rather than evidence. The essay is a political manifestation that brings to the fore by the writing process the reflective trajectory of the researcher and his positioning in the face of a problem. In this continuous process of reflexivity of the self in which theory and empiricism merge from the varied set of experiences of the essayist, knowledge is produced as a work of the self in thought that allows him to problematize on the questions around the sayings and doings of his field of study. In this thesis, the problem that is considered is the management dispositive and the discursive formations that were engendered by its positivity. Thus, I also use the writing of the self as a methodological practice creating a fictitious argument in which the positivity of management is also reverberated. Building upon the fiction narrative, I argue that our recent history has accompanied an advance in management techniques as a reference in the way of organizing life in society. Beyond the walls of firms, management tools are demanded from public administration to home care, setting up a rational-utilitarian mode of subjectivation supported by the standardization enunciation throughout the last century. It gained momentum when a new economic motto was enacted from the 1980s with the expansion of neoliberalism and the constitution of financial markets, reinforced by the enunciation of privileges. The recent aggravation of management positivity occurs in the form of another mode of subjectivation, which then acts alongside it in a concentric operation in favor of the maximization of Capital flows: the dispositive of financialization. Thus, subjects today are strongly subjugated to a logic that instils in them a supposed liberal individualization that masks a fund of disciplinary capitalistic totalitarianism. This thesis is a problematization of this contemporary moment of (dis)illusion engendering in the elaboration of a genealogy which, like a train that goes into a dark tunnel, will not see its end quite soon.

Full textThis research is focused on distance training of primary school teachers in Madagascar, trained to teach French through French. The research is descriptive in nature, requiring the exploitation of both quantitative and qualitative data, based on modules of competences that need to be attained after the training. The development of the research problem has brought about research questions calling, first, for the need to know whether the trainees would find some modules more accessible, and others more difficult. Secondly, it was asked whether the two distance training systems “Mallette Pedagogue” and “IFADEM” would have the capacity to change positively the teachers, according to the linguistic and pedagogic objectives which were set to be reached. The implementation of the two systems took the form of experimentations, generally developed in rural areas with difficult access and hazardous environment. Despite these hurdles, efforts have been made to diversify the data sources, the research tools, etc. , given the multidisciplinary “etiquette” assigned to the research, as suggested in its title. The data obtained out of this context were analyzed and led to conclusions more or less in conformity with our hypotheses, showing some germs of changes towards professionalism, some positive reflections and attitudes, that the allotted training time allowed them to obtain. However, this work has thus appeared as a catalyst, opening up research paths for the future in the field of distance training of the teachers

Full textThe « mediaction » is defined as an action that positions itself by and through the tools of the Internet, the so-called « medium », which as an included third part, in a formative or educational operation, offers a cognitive mediation in a space-time in motion. Implemented in formative systems, it allows, thanks to the fuction of mediactive support, to imagine formative systems that alternate between presence (physical) and distance (virtual). We are here in presence of a new kind of guidance, which is distant at first, but mainly in-between presence and distance, in a second time. The particularity of this distant guidance lies in the fact that the operations position us in situations of « de-temporality » and « despatialization». A new form of guidance requires new skills and those of the mediactive supervisor must be understood in a position of articulation between the three phases of guidance, but also the four types of alternations and the five levels of interaction. Operations that are introduced, alternating presence/distance, involve mediated processes such as the Internet and hence the tools to access them. However, are actors in these operations not converging towards an object (the computer among others), through the knowledge and desire, the desire for discovery, in the same time as they are aiming at its own integration ? Do the subject-actor's behavior, the choices that he makes, technical possibilites (computer or not) not define his direction towards the object and terms highlighted by the action in the formative system alterning between presence/distance? It may be through the implementation of a process of appropriation through action, that emerges a new kind of freedom of expression. This process would then be called « approaction ».I relied on the tripolar formative theory to implement these learning operations. Three inseparable pillars of the existential self-learning at the core of which actors are involved in educational and formative knowledge« co-construction ». The permanent gateaway between the « despatialization» and « de-temporality » could then allow us to imagine a fourth pillar that would position the others (hetero) alternately in the presence and distance, opening the door to a « tetrapolarised »formation, that would revolutionize itself in a « mediaspheric » system, space of the mediactive guidance

Full textHow does one reconstruct the complexity of experimental collective situations of reflection on action based on a game designed to teach. The answer is transversal to research, which, for a long time, has remained undecided on the principal direction and the object studied : the representation of action logic by the actors in social centres using a pack of cards containing six logics divided into ten themes. This point effectively raises as many questions on methodology as difficulties of bringing it into play. An analysis of the data reveals the complexity of an evolving educational global research mechanism. The obstructing and annoying hazards of development of this research ; the plural identity of the social centres and the differences in the studied population – volunteers and employees ; the originality of the research support ; the multidimensional representations of action logic have called for an appropriate epistemological attitude : exacting and personal. In view of the difficulties encountered and the resulting existential discomfort, the engagement to satisfy the demand of scientific research was uncertain and uneasy to establish. This uncertainty brings an unexpected finality and relief in questioning the limit conditions of apprenticeship of research by research

Full textThis thesis focuses on standardization in the field of distance learning. Among the many proposed standards, our interest focuses on the enrichment of latest standard proposal, which is the IMS-LD standard. We would therefore introduce the standardization relevance notion which means the ability of IMS-LD prescribes learning scenarios that actually meet certain educational principles. For our research, we focused on an essential component of learning (Leontiev, 1981), it is the motivation to learn. From this thesis, we obtained three main results validated by conducting case studies: first, is an activity theories’ posteriori design based approach; It describes, from traces, the actual learning activity scenario taking into account its human factors. The second result is a taxonomy based on the speech acts theory; it allowed us to translate some motivation components as a set of speech acts observed in « Chat » discussion. The third result is a motivation descriptive model that reflects, from the traces, the perceptions and their origins. This model uses our taxonomy and is based on the adjacency pairs concept derived from conversational analysis. Finally, our conclusions explain further, our secondary results and provide opportunities for continuing our question about standards relevance

This thesis has teacher’s professionalization movement and its elements as a background with reference to the initial teacher education. The focus is the pre-service teacher training in the Education program at Unesp-Rio Claro. The general aim is: to explore the pre-service teacher education in didactic-pedagogic shared accompaniment. The specific aims are: a) to document and to analyze the process of joint preparation of devices to accompany the student teachers; b) to analyze the contribution of the suggested device in the professional development process of student teachers in school and to school; c) to identify the changes introduced by the device in pre-service teacher's development according to the student teachers' and education agents' opinion. In the theoretical framework, we conceptualized: accompaniment and its possibilities; partnership; analyzes of practices; training devices; and reflective practice. The investigation is a qualitative constructive-collaborative research. It was developed in six primary schools and a public university. There were 45 participants: a pre-service Supervisor (professor), a school principal, four pedagogical-coordinators of schools, 27 school teachers (partner-teacher) and 12 student-teachers. The data collection techniques were: observation, monitoring of discipline at the university and focus group. There were three phases (2013-2015): 1) the dialogue and the observation; 2) the constitution and the operationalization of the devices; 3) the development and evaluation of the devices. The data were analyzed by content analyze. The results were: the presence of a cycle of development of pre-service teacher; elements for construction of training devices; the evaluation of the devices considering their theoretical base, how they were operated and experienced by participants. These elements aid us to identify the following contributions: the deprivatization of practices by student teachers; the student teachers started doing the registration of their practices systematically; the partner-teachers reflected about their own practices when they observed the student teachers' practice. The transformations introduced by devices were: there was a transition of reception to accompaniment; the devices offered a formal and systematic role to partner-teachers; the partner-teachers signal certain degree of responsibility in teacher education. The results were analyzed and discussed by three points: the andragogy; the reflection and analyze of practices; the reception of student teachers and the disposition to accompany. We have listed six essential principles to develop a pre-service teacher training from the perspective of shared accompaniment. In conclusions, we advocated that this perspective presupposes a partnership with school that requires some work without hierarchies and that considers three points: the adult as someone in learning situation; the reflection and analyze of practice; the disposition to accompany on the part of supervisor and partner-teachers.

Full textFacing the economic imperative of the « promotion of intensive competitiveness, we find that under social pressures, deep modifications- especially being closer to the working world – are needed. Within this context, priority is now giver to a strategy of “thinking towards action” of training programs the aim of which is to establish the creation of activities based on the professional competence showed both by the initial idea and its practical implications. After an analysis of the processes of research leading to enlighten the development of potential, we then face the question: “how are they being created and how one can be trained to create them?” We decided to approach the problem, traditionally analyzed from the point of view of the realization of actions, under a new angle: the passage towards action. The starting point leading this work is that in order to commit oneself to professional action- meaning being able to face risks and uncertainties to do so – the individual must feel that a “role model”, who has authority, gives permission. In order to explore the processes underlying the commitment of the subject to action geared towards efficiency together with the legitimacy attached to organizations aiming at changing individuals, we based ourselves on a qualitative work founded on the analysis of discourse. The corpus behind this research analyzed 12 pedagogical documents, 22 interactive propositions lead by 3 acting individuals: former leaners, supervisors and tutors. The results show the difficulty to grasp the complexity of the “studied matter” they lead us however to change slightly our starting research hypothesis. The various forms of “legitimization” leading to the process of authorization refer more to a quest both towards socialization and recognition by others rather than to a personal individual reference

Full textWe can consider that, since a year, the open and distance learning has gone beyond the stage of projects and tests pilote. To understand and discribe the design process of devices and tools for learning and teaching, to problematize the relations of learning, teaching and the relationship to knowledge in the case of open and distance learning, a triple examination has been commited (research in literature, study of three corpus, field study about the design of an e-portfolio. It's allowed to identify some queries. 1) the design process goes on into the use process which leads to ask again initial design ; 2) The representations that have structured the design of the e-portfolio also structured the group of design'actors - according to the hypothesis of Sallaberry ; 3) From Salais and Storper (coordinated action means that the actors have a common framework for action, but outside them likely to be re-built during the action), we have shown that the design of an e-portfolio as aprocess of coordinated action, based on agreements on coordinating the work of design ; 4) Considering artefacts developed in a process of design as objects intermediaries - according to the type of Jeantet and Vink -, we have identified, from the field study about the e-portfolio design process, as symbolic interfaces for structuring representations ans agreements actors on this design process ; 5) Looking after if it was relevant to consider the "report to know instrumented" notion, we have show that the use of an instrumentation in learning's field has an influence on the relationship to knowledge

Abstract: The mobile devices can help human being in several activities. With changes in procedures and softwares those solutions can support students and teachers in educational environment. At the same time, those changes can introduce new concepts and powerfull tools that expand the scope and complexity of those environments. The teacher and students constraints to access those Learning Virtual Environments (LVE), can make the cultural and social exclusion worse, in opposite way that it is supposed to be. This work proposes the use of SMS (Short Message Services) to model a low cost LVE, a specific solution to include those communities and, with creativity, turn it easier to interact students, teachers and the resources, inside and outside the classroom, improving the collaborative activities and formative assessment. A specific model where the TCO (total cost of ownership) will be feasible and can be up and running immediately

Full textHow do the rules are appropriated during the year of preservice teachers? The traditional conception of education gives a crucial role to the experts and focuses on the place of professional collectives in the development of the activity of teachers in training. Does sociology have to say or complain about this approach? The result of our survey based of three schools, show that the classical dyadic relationship expert-tutor / novice does not always allow novices to appropriate the rules of trade. This dyadic configuration does not favor the game of argumentation and counter-argumentation through agreements or disagreements and get difficult the learning of rules. Would not it be better to introduce a third party to overcome the statutory obstacles breaking the relationship. This is what we choose to do from an experimental approach based on the establishment of a triadic relationship. The third party raises the level of the justifying constraint and the tutor's advice can no longer rely solely on the statutory advantage he enjoyed hitherto

Full textFor what reasons are practice analysis programs widely used in the field of social work? This is the question which prompted us to explore these programs, the social work practices and their paradoxes. In spite of the theoretical diversity among all practice analysis programs, the quest for sense seems to be a motive common to all. A number of elements contribute to questioning the sense of social workers’ action : a « professional group » with blurred boundaries, instability in the definition of their missions, instability in the public and social work methods; societal changes linked to the effects of post modernity. Such an unstable combination of facts may produce paradoxes which, according to Barel (1989), are due to systems being all tangled up. These systems, depending on the existential and societal contexts of the actors involved may appear merged and non-paradoxical to them, or separate and paradoxical. Such paradoxes alter the sense of the action. To adapt, actors may resort to «double» strategies that enable to answer contradictory instructions, stemming from different systems. By observing and analyzing a practice analysis program implemented in a medical social centre, we will therefore seek to identify the paradoxes involved, their nature and the strategies developed to regulate them

Full textThe thesis starts from the observation that management sciences have paid little attention to training as a learning device and have an instrumentalized vision of it. However, in the face of accelerating technological change and new standards of competitiveness, learning and application of knowledge within companies is a major challenge. In this context, the aim of our thesis is to produce lessons on the trajectories of perseverance of learners in the articulation of training / enterprise. The literature in management sciences gives us the axes to approach this perseverance through the organizational and managerial stakes. The cross-examination with the sciences of education makes it possible to refine the individual difficulties encountered by the learners. We show from a Participative Action Research that all these constraints are found both in the training devices and on the workstations. Our research is based on an analysis of trajectories of students in initial training (FI) continuing education (CF) and continuing vocational training (CF) over three years. We highlight the brakes and levers encountered by each learner as well as the dynamics that are played in each structure and in their articulation. The study shows that perseverance is a process to be analyzed taking into account the individual, collective and organizational constraints in the back and forth between the training devices and the companies

Full textMonitored in their pedagogical activities by a group of University researchers, the teachers of a public school in Fortaleza try to practice the principle of a generalized school inclusion to all children with special needs, such as is guaranteed by the Brazilian Constitution of 1988. In the first part of the study, through a brief account of both, the public school and special education in Brazil, as well as a careful bibliographical review about inclusion, it is presented the sociopolitical basis on which such an action of continuous formation for inclusion takes place. In the second part, based on the works of Michel Foucault and, complementarily, on the studies of classical sociologists (Weber, Bourdieu, etc.), an etnography of the pedagogical formation, which lasted more than two years, will show how a process of formation with the aim of inclusion constitutes in a political strategy. Therefore, it does not escape from the relations of domination that can be found in any other kind of the so-called “traditional” formation which, in the inclusion environment, is so condemned. In the third part, the study demonstrates how certain “regimes of truth”, disciplinary techniques, and “technologies of self”, which permeates all along the continuous formation, contribute to a production of multiple knowledge and effects of subjectivation that will allow the emergency of unique subjects that define themselves in function of what they took from that experience or in function of the positioning they adopted in regards to it

Full textIn this thesis we were concerned with the training of the moroccan technicians in agriculture assuming that the school is no longer the only source of transmission and appropriation of knowledge in agriculture. The students who opted for this training are far from being ignorant before any learning action. They have "pre-conceived ideas" (sorts of information more or less organized) with regard to any disciplinary contribution. These "representations" (the terminology is vast in the literature regarding this subject) play a fundamental role in the knowledge-building processes. They appear obviously and we have encountered theme in a reserach through an example-theme : "germination". Supports or obstacles? "already-there" inhibitors or facilitors of learning process? through this study, our objective was to investigate the possibilites, the conditions and the interest for an eventual recourse to their usage by the trainors. In short, a problematic concerned with the efforts of improving didacties in current disciplines. But also, a problematic that is facing serious difficulties the ignorance of these concepts by teachers who are not tacking a basi c training in pedagogy. This has led us to operate a transfer and undertake this investigation with sufficient precautions. Certainly, we were confronted with numerous interrogations of theoritical and practical order with regard to the epistemology, the collecting and exploitation of these concepts for educational purposes

Full textIt is our contention that a symbolical violence (in P. Bourdieu’s sense) is at work in the toned-down discourse of the New Management and in the contradictory practices of communicators-managers. Our survey focuses on coaching and work experience training schemes designed for these managers. The communicator-manager’s model is becoming a strategic stake for the network-company in a globalized market capitalism. That communication is pervaded by contradictions at work in the consultants’discourse, as well as the practices of the mediator, the manager “per se” : a communication of mutual understanding, put forward in the discourse, opposes itself to an alienating or dogmatic communication, which prevails in the practices. The schemes, essentially based on paradoxes, prepare managers to become actors in that symbolical violence, but they are also subject to it. Our study relies on Zarifian & Boltanski’s approach as well as Chiapello’s but also goes beyond

Full textThis research is about learners activity in e-learning. It takes part in the “course-of-action” research program, and relies on Dewey’s theory of inquiry. Verbal and behavioural data have been collected, allowing to identify meaningful possible and inquiries conducted in the learners’ activity. A first study was about the activity of four learners during a week, a second study was focused on work sessions of two learners. Results showed that learners activity was de-synchronized : e-learning allowed a temporal flexibility, but limit possibilities for help. Instructors’ prescriptions were structuring : learners interpreted these according to the possible which were meaningful for them. Construction of warranted assertions was essential for learners, particularly to evaluate their activity with regard to the instructors’ requirements. Recommendations for e-learning devices taking in consideration effective autonomy of learners are formulated

Full textThe thesis has for object the description and the understanding of a process of development of the activity of nine teachers of PE (PHYSICAL EDUCATION) participating in a device of cooperative work with a professor (teaching and research) in didactics. Our abstract frame is the result of an abstract synthesis by the crossing of four big theoretical perspectives: didactic, sociological, psychological, linguistic approaches (pragmatics interactionniste) around the notion of professional development characterized " as a dynamic proceçs of transformation of skills and identical constiiuents ". This research is made during a device ad hoc of collaborative work to provoke the development to study it better and it, from collective analyses of didactic situations in collective sports, conceived and operated by the participants. The method consists of a longitudinal approach, allowing several moments of collection of data on the speeches of the teachers, displayed over two years. The study of the interactions between teachers and between teachers and researcher required the recourse to a theory of the language strongly marked the contributions of the interactionniste pragmatics (Kerbrat-Orrechionni, on 2008). Three indicators of development are held for the study of the material established for the main part of verbal interactions taken during the exchanges in the situations of training and during conversations of auto-confrontation: the reflexivity, the abstract reorganizations, the cognitive activities of generalization (cf. Pastré, Mayen, Vergnaud, on 2006)

Full textBy creating a new situation occupational period and work experience, the transition policy yields three outcomes. This onus is entirely on the individual to develop attitudes defined by the representatives of capital, ie bad jobs without social mobility. This policy takes for granted the situation of social class, she forces young people to accept the lack of employment, the burden of adjustment is given to the new generation. In conclusion, these institutions may be seen as making no more than a new form of social control, a democratic or psychologic control

Full textThis study presents the finding of the research teachers' initial training formation in distance methodology in Colombia from the changes in the educational practices, and the educational mediations during the last fifteen years of transition of the century. The study is framedin the socio-historic approach of Lev Vygotsky, which analyzes the development of the superior psychological processes which favor learning from the insourcing of the social practices. This qualitative research, was developed under the approach of multiple case study to generate results in order to characterize what would be an educational device for the improvement of the quality of the programs of teachers' initial training in distance methodology. Its main objective is to analyze the way as they answer the current socio-historic requirement. To reach this goal, it was taken into account the experience of institutions, teachers and students of a sample of three universities who have wide experience, trajectory, national coverage and goodwill in the training of undergraduate teachers in distance methodology in Colombia. It was found that the breaks come mainly from mediations of the teaching and learning practices, the educational material, and the evaluation of the learning. With regard to the characterization of the device three dimensions were established: 1) Macro: it has a relation with the national educational public politics; 2) Meso: it has to do directly with universities and its academic and administrative organization; and 3) Micro: it concerns to the academic undergraduate programs

Full textThis thesis, in a social cognitive approach, studies the professional learning of secondary education teachers specializing in disabled pupils. The goal is to show that under specializing learning teachers build professional knowledge in the social interaction whether on-site or on-line with their peers thanks to the hybrid system tools; especially thanks to an on-line log book. Our theoretical framework gathers professional learning theories. The social construction of learning takes into account the importance of the social and cultural environments, the individual’s place when building knowledge, as well as the interactions through different aspects. The professional knowledge can be used by the teacher and be seen as knowledge mentioned in the on-line log book, as the perceived knowledge through the evolution of the Professional Feeling of Efficiency level (SEPro in French), as well as the perceived knowledge in the teacher’s practice when adapting to class and outside the classroom. From a mixed methodology, this study presents the survey results performed following five teachers from the secondary education under a specializing learning (2CA-SH: Accreditation for specialized teachers for secondary school and higher levels) in a hybrid context at the ESPE of Toulouse (Teaching and Learning Graduate School). A comparison is done parallel to the SEPro level evolution with a group of teachers following the same on-site training (n= 24) and a group without training (n =58). The analysis of the empirical elements shows that the on-line and on-site interactions with peers let them build professional knowledge linked to adaptive professional behaviors and the pupils understanding. It also shows that knowledge becomes diversified during the learning year. The built knowledge is used in their SEPro, in their practice and in the elaboration of the on-line log book. The link between the professional knowledge nature and the learning process (social learning) allows to highlight the processes the teachers interacting on-site and on-line with peers prefer. It also allows to propose a social learning model in the context of a hybrid learning

ABSTRACT This dissertation is a result of some thoughts about the education field developed in the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal da Bahia (Master’s Program of Education at Federal University of Bahia ). The study uses a philosophical tradition as the basis of the theoretical method. It emerges from events which are building the specific research field of formative procedures. At this case, we are looking to understand how subjectivity has been questioned, and what are it life’s implications in the formation of the human being. The investigation has started with questioning issues, about life as a project or a masterpiece. Furthermore, these issues can be known within the Education field by the expressions: “To be or become the author of your own life”. Such an assertion highlights the human agency in the subjective process, and points out the contemporary tendency of the enlargement of the spaces once understood and called “privacy”, “intimacy” and “inner behavior”. Modernity started after the First Industrial Revolution and changed drastically the other capitalist revolution that was about to come. Theses transformations were largely motivated by the introduction and improvement of new technology. Thus, the ruse of formative procedures shows the new set of time and space, both inner and outside processes of development, taking us to new ways of experiencing life, trying different worlds, others concepts of job, education, politics, etc. Using care as a base apparatus, and also as one of the most important ways in which one fits into this world, this research has the purpose to debate the relationship between knowledge and dominant and occidental processes of subjectivity. My goal is to feature the influences in the formative perspectives foundation in order to bring up the traps and impasses of the Enlightment’s legacy. At the end it is possible to realize that the value references compose, nowadays, the most relevant transcendental source, or one of the last invitations to live and rebuild life’s meanings in its collective and individual aspects, focused on care and the principle of more life.
