Equipment technical state monitoring systems contain hundreds of vibration and temperature sensors for real-time health monitoring of machinery. Monitoring systems reliability should significantly exceed the units stock reliability, being protected from accidents and incidents. The paper considers the approach to monitoring systems reliability growth, primarily by means of providing control (monitoring) of measuring-converter path technical condition. Sensors are the weakest point, due not only to wear, but also to damage, caused by repair personnel when servicing equipment. The self-diagnostics method for channels with piezoelectric transducers and the choice of optimal self-diagnostics circuits parameters have been suggested. The results of practical implementation have been provided as well.

Abstract:
The main task when designing 802.11 wireless networks is to create access with the highest possible channel bandwidth for an individual subscriber. This problem is solved in two ways: calculation and test diagnostics of networks at the design stage; optimization of networks during operation based on technical diagnostics and monitoring. This paper investigates and clarifies the existing terminology for technical diagnostics and control for 802.11 wireless channels. As a result, it is established that radio monitoring is the first stage of technical diagnostics on the basis of which it is possible to obtain statistical characteristics about the change of channel parameters over time. The second stage includes models and methods of analysis and evaluation of channel parameters, considering the influence of various destabilizing factors with control operations. Based on the obtained terminology, a structural-consequential diagnostic model was proposed for the 802.11 wireless channel, which provides a formalized description of the object needed to solve the problems of diagnosis and control. The model uses the general structure of the channel and physical layer of the 802.11 standard and energy and information diagnostic parameters, which is valid for any wireless channel. The level of reliability of technical diagnostics of wireless channels is provided due to the built-in means of monitoring of subscriber devices, the number of input parameters and the observation period. In addition, an assessment of the suitability of the channel for traffic transmission is provided, which involves comparing the bit rate with the obtained technical diagnostic data. This is relevant in the current trends of improving the quality of modern infocommunication services, which significantly increases the bandwidth requirements of channels. The proposed model of technical diagnostics is a concept of methodology. It includes the use of: improved and new developed by the author's own methodological approaches to conducting research on wireless channels; acquired new knowledge about the operation of these channels under the influence of phenomena existing in the transmission medium; new models and methods for estimating energy and information parameters and the relationships between them; methods of evaluation and statistical processing of theoretical and empirical research.

Abstract:
In the early 1980s, 120 gas compressor units (GPU) type GTK-25i were installed on the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod transcontinental gas pipeline, and three of them are in operation at CS-39 “U-P-U” of the Bogorodchansk Linear Production Department of trunk gas pipelines. Today, about 80% of GPU type GTK-25i have worked out the established service life, or those close to it. Their further operation does not ensure reliable and efficient operation, and therefore numerous failures and accidents occur, leading to significant economic losses. Methods of parametric and vibroacoustic diagnostics of GPU are analyzed. It is noted that the most fruitful years of development of the methods of vibroacoustic diagnostics of GPUs are the 70-90s of the last century. Today, their development is taking place in the direction of using modern information technologies and various transformations in the processing of vibroacoustic processes to identify diagnostic signs of the technical state of the GPU. The methods of diagnosing GPU type GTK-25i the analysis showed their absence. The exception is certain methods of their diagnostics based on modern information technologies, which were developed by the authors of the article. At the same time, the carried out improvement of the automatic control system (ACS) of the GPU type GTK-25i in terms of its technical and software makes it possible to obtain information about additional, in comparison with the standard ACS, technological parameters of the GPU type GTK-25i operation and vibroacoustic processes that accompany its operation. and can be used to create diagnostic methods for GPU type GTK-25i. The methodology for monitoring the technical condition of GPU type GTK-25i based on the determination of the highest values of the discriminant functions for each of the three technical states of GPU type GTK-25i for 16 technological parameters and acoustic and vibration characteristics is considered. At the same time, the best "nominal" condition is considered to be the state of GPU type GTK-25i after the repair work, the "defective" state "- before the repair work, and" current "- after the corresponding operating time of the GPU type GTK-25i. The use of the technique made it possible to develop a complex method, which is a combination of parametric and vibroacoustic diagnostics methods. It is shown that the use of the proposed method allows tracing the trend of changes in the technical state of GPU type GTK-25i in time and predicting the moment of its decommissioning. The developed method does not require additional technical means for its implementation, as it receives information from the improved ACS GPU type GTK-25i, which, in turn, can use the diagnostic results to control the gas compression process, taking into account the technical condition of the GPU type GTK-25i.

Abstract:
Existing methods of calculating of the value of diagnostic information circulating in the automated systems of monitoring of technical condition of objects do not take into account "losses" ("gains") resulting from making “wrong” decisions when identifying this state. The purpose of the work is to develop an algorithm that allows to solve the problem of recognizing the technical state of the object being analyzed by means of dynamic programming, the value of the diagnostic information as an optimized indicator being used. The solution to the optimization problem of a diagnostic procedure is based on the use of a measure of the information value proposed by R. L. Stratonovich. It is modified according to the subject area of the technical diagnostics and in the case when the diagnostic features presented in the form of intervals on the real numerical axis are used. The maximum value of the diagnostic information is achieved by minimizing the average "losses" (maximizing the average "gains") obtained when performing tests of diagnostic signs in the process of recognizing the technical condition of an object. To solve the problem, a recurrent expression possessing a scientific novelty has been proposed. It allows to calculate the value of the information obtained when performing tests of diagnostic signs in each of the analyzed information states of the diagnostic process. In the process of the diagnostics program implementation when recognizing the technical condition of the object both “losses” and “winnings” are possible. The difference between their a priori and a posteriori means values characterizes the value of the diagnostic information numerically. The magnitude of the information value indication depends on the probabilities of the results of the diagnostic signs checks and is proportional to the difference between the a posteriori and a priori probabilities of achieving the diagnostic goal. By using the proposed solution, it is possible to synthesize the flexible diagnostics program that is optimal according to the maximum value of diagnostic information in the form of a oriented graph or sets of tests in proper sequence of their execution. This is necessary in order to recognize the specific technical state in which the object is located. The implementation of the algorithm developed is possible in the software and algorithmic support of the automated systems for monitoring the state of complex technical objects.

Abstract:
The need to develop hardware for the technical diagnostics of the strength properties of metal structures is explained by the need for continuous monitoring of the state of industrial objects in the systems of technical diagnostics, which allow to record the force response to changes caused by changes in the loading conditions of the material structure. The current state of technical diagnostics equipment is considered. It is proved that the main principle of control automation in the systems of technical diagnostics of the strength properties of materials by acoustic emission methods is the detection and identification of signals, their amplification, frequency filtering, discrimination and normalization of pulses in duration and amplitude. The use of these operations allows the automated passport system to process the primary data in real time and to perform an integrated assessment of the state of the object at different stages of its life cycle. A structural diagram of the receiving equipment for measuring acoustic emission parameters, a number of designs of acoustic sensors and hardware for processing acoustic emission signals, which guarantee high quality performance of metal structures. On the basis of the analysis of modern and foreign equipment, which became widespread in the practice of technical diagnostics by the method of acoustic emission, the directions of formation of the acoustic tract of diagnostic equipment and the basic requirements for the design of the recording equipment are formulated. It is established that information support of automated systems of control and diagnostics of metal structures requires determination of their informative parameters. It is proved that the main characteristic of diagnostics of the state of metal structures in the course of their operation is the flow of AE signals, which is determined by the average value of the pulse amplitude, the dispersion of the amplitude, the amplitude distribution, the amplitude frequency distribution of time intervals between pulses. The recovery of information obtained by the diagnostic system from the AE source is the basic principle of the construction of automated control systems and diagnostics of metal structures.

Abstract:
This article deals with solving the urgent scientific problem of the diagnostics of drives of technological robotized workplaces with support of sensors. The dependence of diagnostic parameters on the technical state of drives of automated technological systems, which is of great economic importance for industrial enterprises, is being investigated. Diagnostic models have been developed based on sensory systems to diagnose drive models of technological robotized workplaces. The use of these models may also include monitoring systems in which it is possible to build a system for identifying detected changes. These systems identify many contradictory changes and thereby reduce the false alarm frequency of monitoring sensory systems. Numerous methods for solving technical diagnostics problems are often based on methods based on mathematical models describing work processes, as well as on spectral analysis of measured parameters, such as vibrations, noise, and electric current. A fuzzy inference system for assessing the technical condition, a system for estimating the residual resource of drives, and asystem for calculating diagnostic intervals based on fuzzy knowledge have been developed. Based on the historical trend of the diagnostic parameters, the intelligent diagnostic system determines the current technical condition of the actuator and predicts future technical condition changes, determines the remaining service life and the time intervals for diagnostics. The analysis of the time spent on planned preventive maintenance of technological equipment makes it possible to conclude that, after the modernization of equipment in 2018, the repair time was reduced from 350 h to 260 h per year (26%). Since 2019, there is a tendency to increase repair time by 30 h each year.

Abstract:
An approach to the technical diagnostics of complex technical systems based on the results of telemetry information processing by an external monitoring and diagnostics system using hybrid network structures is proposed. The principle of constructing diagnostic complexes of complex technical systems is considered, which ensures the automation of the technical diagnostics process and is based on the use of models in the form of hybrid network structures for processing telemetric information, including multilayer neural networks and discrete Bayesian networks with stochastic learning. A model of changes in the parameters of complex technical systems technical state based on multilayer neural networks has been developed, which makes it possible to form a probabilistic assessment of attributing the current situation of complex technical system functioning to the set of functions considered situations according to individual telemetry parameters, and multilevel hierarchical model of complex technical systems technical diagnostics based on a discrete Bayesian network with stochastic learning, which allows aggregating the information received from neural network models and recognizing the current situation of complex technical system functioning. In the conditions of functioning emergencies of the complex technical system, according to the results of processing telemetric information, faulty functional units are localized and an explanation of the cause of the emergency is formed. The stages of complex technical systems technical diagnostics implementation using the proposed hybrid network structures in the processing of telemetric information are detailed. An example of using the developed approach to solving problems of spacecraft onboard system technical diagnostics is presented. Abstract:
The development of modern civil and military aircraft is characterized by a rapid increase in the degree of functionality due to the requirements of today and the expansion of the scope of tasks to be solved. In military aviation, this feature is due to a significant expansion of the area of combat employment in terms of the enemy's active opposition, and in civil aviation, it can be explained by a large-scale implementation of technical means of flight control automation and landing under the conditions of high flights traffic in urban areas. In this regard, there was a fundamentally important transition from the separate design of airframes and components to the design of aircraft systems (AS) which represent a single complex system that solves many interdependent and interrelated tasks. Of course, such systems need technical diagnostics, real-time performance testing, and forecasting the remaining resource. This paper presents and describes the main scientific and technical ways to develop and create integrated airborne systems for providing flight safety of aircraft, including systems for monitoring the functional state of the pilot. The article considers the main methods and means for diagnostics and prognostics of the technical condition of an airframe and the critical units of aircraft. Their comparative analysis is carried out and a block diagram of an integrated diagnostic system is proposed. The essence of this system is to implement the procedure for accumulating flight data on the parameters of critical components and units on board aircraft and using a rapid-analysis method that involves monitoring the dynamics of changes in the trend of the controlled parameters in relation to limit values in real-time mode.

Abstract:
The main elements of the process equipment are DC and AC motors that largely determine its reliability and efficiency of operation. The constant monitoring of technical condition by methods of technical diagnostics allows a significant extension of equipment life and reduces financial costs. To implement this approach, specialized methods are required. They allow to determine the technical condition of DC and AC motors with a high degree of reliability, distinguishing their faulty state from changing the operating mode. Diagnostics should be performed in the mode of equipment operation; therefore, the use of complex measuring devices is not permissible. This article presents the results of search studies of diagnosis method that meets the above-mentioned requirements. Current, voltage and vibration are selected as diagnostic parameters. It is proposed to analyze them by the wavelet transform. As a result of numerous experiments, the relationship between changes in the wavelet transform coefficients on characteristic scales has been established. This allows to determine the technical condition of the electric motor and the mode of its load, on the basis of which a diagnostic method has been developed using neural networks.

Despite the vast experience of using the neural networks for solving various machine learning problems, the numerous attempts to use them in technical diagnostics have not yet led to complete solutions so far (with rare exceptions). The reason is the specific nature of technical diagnostics that distinguishes such tasks from traditional machine learning problems. Having analyzed these specific features, the authors propose an approach to diagnosing complex technical objects that is focused on the use in built-in diagnostics systems and is based on the neural network reference diagnostic models of functionally isolated nodes and assemblies. The article describes the methodology for the synthesis of such models, their training on the data obtained by monitoring the object being tested using built-in diagnostic tools, determining the permissible response errors, and adapting to the current status of the object. The fuzzification of the diagnostic model results using the test sample proposed in the article makes it possible to standardize the approach to diagnosing complex technical objects designed for various purposes. The use of D. Trigg’s tracking control signal proposed by the authors to monitor regression residuals during the learning increases the training quality and generalization ability of models. The value of this signal determined by the model run on a test sample is an additional informative diagnostic parameter that increases the accuracy of classifying the status of the object under test. The proposed methodology applied at the complex technical object design stage allows optimizing the monitored parameters’ array and multiplying the efficiency of the diagnostic information recorded by the built-in diagnostic and monitoring tools.

Nowadays the system requirements are set up and evaluated in various manners. We have plenty of excellent options available taking into account item technical state or/and other states and talking about diagnostic options. Tribodiagnostics is one of the independent and good parts to assess the system condition. The paper deals with the mathematical processing, monitoring and analysis of the oil field data got as a result from the laser spectrography in frame of the tribodiagnostic oil tests. This diagnostic approach has been currently used for oil diagnostic results comparison – usually for comparison of expected system state determined by laser spectrography only. There is not known deeper relation of oil diagnostics data and system related consequences (like determining the terminal state and service optimization – maintenance for instance).

The perfection of methods and means of non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics is determined by the level of development of science and modern industrial technologies. The desire to develop technologies determines the growing needs for monitoring the state of substances, materials, products, and now the control of the state of the natural environment is becoming more and more relevant. Methods and means of condition monitoring and diagnostics of rolling bearings have been developed and developed for more than 60 years. Despite certain successes, today there is no information about the veracity of ways to solve this problem. The paper provides a fairly brief overview of methods and methods for monitoring the condition and diagnosis of rolling bearings, and also describes one of the newest trends in this field – the analysis of the properties of the characteristic function of vibroacoustic signals in order to determine the condition of the objects of control and, in particular, rolling bearings. It is shown that the magnitude of the module and the area of the characteristic function of the vibroacoustic signal are very effective criteria for assessing the technical condition of a rolling bearing.

Abstract:
Up to 38% of asynchronous motor (AM) failures are caused by damage to the stator insulation. Despite the wide variety of methods, the reliability of determining the inter-turn short circuits of stator windings under operating voltage still remains at a low level. The existing methods for diagnostics of asynchronous motor failure of the interturn short circuit of stator winding have been examined. New diagnostic methods for individual parameters developed in the course of the previous study are described. A new diagnostic method is formulated, on the basis of which the research work is carried out. The method will allow us to constantly monitor the technical condition of the stator winding, and identify its damage at an early stage of their development. Diagnostics can be performed without dismantling the engine and without removing it from the working process. The microprocessor unit is implemented for diagnostics of the technical condition of AM introducing this method. Moreover, the software and hardware complex is implemented for diagnostics of the technical condition for AM. The results of experiments on a laboratory stand with inter-turn AM closures are presented, which confirm the higher reliability of monitoring.

Abstract:
The actual problem is the diagnosis and monitoring of the technical condition of the machines in operation, as well as the forecasting of their technical condition. The complexity of the problem of condition controlling is that the most informative characteristics of the electrical products can not be accurately determined without the use of special measuring transducers, which considerably increases the test time and makes it difficult to carry out continuous monitoring. A promising direction in solving this problem is the use of sensorless methods. Implementing these methods is based on using as a source of information the working winding of the electrical product, the active component of the resistance of which is determined just before the measurement of the magnetic characteristic and then used as a constant value. In the process of testing, there is heating and, as a consequence, a change in the active component of the winding resistance, which causes an unacceptable errors in determining the electrical products state. In this article the mathematical model of thermal processes are developed and analysis of thermometric diagnostics of electrical products is carried out.

Abstract:
Development and practical implementation of the enterprise industrial safety management system considering the new requirements of the legislation on creation of the state system for monitoring, remote control, technical certification, and diagnostics of technical devices at hazardous production facilities supervised by Rostechnadzor is discussed in the article. To perform automated collection, recording, generalization, systematization, and evaluation of the information on the parameters that characterize safety of the enterprise hazardous equipment as a whole and each technical device, a block diagram of the enterprise automated industrial safety management system is proposed. The basics are suggested for creating the automated system containing a database that includes all the technical documentation, certificates and expert opinions, repair documentation and accompanying documents (orders, instructions, audit conclusions, etc.) for the efficiency of tracking the technical condition in real time considering changes in all the controlled parameters of the enterprise technological complexes. It is noted in the article that the assessment of the technical condition and life of single and unique technical devices that make up the bulk of equipment in hazardous production should be carried out already at the manufacturing stage by combining technical control with technical diagnostics, and their results should be included in the technical passport of the device. The need in this information for the operators is invaluable, especially after working out the manufacturer’s designated period of safe operation and for evaluating the actual technical condition and comparing it with its original, which was documented during fabrication. Data on the initial state allows to qualitatively assess the degradation processes that are developing during operation and consider them when evaluating the life of a technical device and conduct a qualitative audit of the industrial safety management system.

The creation of analytical software products aimed at assessing the electrical equipment state has become a priority in the development of diagnostics in the power industry. The artificial intelligence methods are useful for this problem-solving. In the article, we propose a method for analyzing the monitoring data of partial discharges in the insulation of electrical equipment using machine-learning technologies. An analytical assessment of the partial discharges characteristics allows us to conclude on the insulation state of the object. It is proposed to use integrated diagnostic parameters, such as partial discharges intensity – the maximum measured value of the apparent charge of a single, repetitive and regular partial discharges. The total sample is characterized by an imbalance, which is typical for technical diagnostics in general. Among machine learning algorithms, bagging and boosting have proven to be the most effective. The mathematical apparatus of gradient boosting is considered in the example of the most common algorithms GBM (Gradient Boosting Machine) and CatBoost. The model was created in the Python programming language. The model created on the basis of the CatBoost algorithm was used for assessing the condition of the oil insulation of power transformers. The model’s accuracy of 68.85% was achieved after optimizing the parameters of the CatBoost algorithm. The article concluded that it is necessary to increase the training sample size and improve its balance. It is inadvisable to interpret the predicted data in the field of diagnostics parameters at the available accuracy of the model’s wok.

Abstract When developing the Decision Support System (DSS), the operability of the internal motion and maneuvering control systems of the vessel is characterized by a large number of parameters, which should be monitored in order to achieve the expected results. The task is to develop an appropriate methodology for automatic monitoring of these systems, which, using a minimum set of sensors, makes it possible to predict the state of the vessel and change the dangerous state to the safe one. To implement the method of automatic monitoring, a set of statistical control tools is selected depending on the alleged violations and the level of correlation of parameters. The uncorrelated parameters are monitored by instruments based on the Shewhart map [1], the correlated parameters are monitored on the basis of Hotelling statistics [2]. This approach makes it possible to diagnose the pre-emergency and emergency states of ship control systems in on-line mode. The method used for multi-level integrated monitoring of the technical state of control systems in on-line mode can improve the reliability of of identification of the technical state of vessel subsystems and expandthe scope of application of monitoring and diagnostics tools. The data obtained can become the basis for the development of rational decisions in the DSS at the level of control subsystems for the vessel transfer from the dangerous to safe state.

Abstract:
The article discusses the results of determining the concentration of wear products in oil of marine diesel gearbox units on fishing vessels in order to use them for in-place diagnostics without dismantling. It was stated that the ultimate goal of diagnostics of wear products consists of identifying the increased wear rate, taking appropriate measures and predicting a possible accident. There has been brought the statistics for several years of monitoring different gearbox types: TKG2-0350 unit of Atlantic-335 type ships, SL2×3000 unit of Horizont type ships, gearbox of Atlantic-488 type ship, main gearbox of Kiev type ship, gearbox of Alpinist type ship. A formula for theoretical determination of the wear product concentration in lubricating oil is given, and a curve of the changing concentration of wear products has been illustrated. Conclusions are made about the information content and reliability of using the wear product concentration as a diagnostic parameter to determine the technical condition of the gearbox. The main reasons for the low information content of the method for determining the wear products in oil are provided. High metal concentrations in wear products in lubricating oil do not necessarily confirm the fact of accidental wear of gearbox parts. Instead of disassembling the gearbox, which leads to decreasing its resources, it is necessary to carry out diagnostics using various methods. It is recommended to analyze the wear degree of gearbox parts at least twice a year (after every six months of operation). There have been offered the reliable ways for improving the wear product diagnostic method.

Abstract:
The presented study is aimed at carrying out scientifically grounded assessments of the current technical state of induction motors (IMs). The existing classical theory of IMs has insufficient generality for solving this problem. It does not cover the state of IMs that feature manufacturing and technological deviations, as well as states with operational damages or ageing. The variety of IM operational states and design versions generates the need to widen the classical framework of analysis to the level of multidimensional representations. Such study was carried out within the framework of a topological approach. According to this approach, an IM is considered as a multidimensional inhomogeneous electromechanical system that can be in homogeneous or inhomogeneous states. From the methodological point of view, the topological approach is based on observing and analyzing the formal properties of a mathematical model with transferring their results to the real object. The rules and a systematized conceptual and terminological framework presented in the article play an essential role. In addition, the method of a topological study and its examples are given. Thus, the study covers all components of the scientific approach focused on a multidimensional representation of the IM operational states. The topological approach forms a scientific and methodological platform for setting up a system for monitoring the current technical state of IMs during their operation. It is pointed out that the existing diagnostic methods are focused on recording external manifestations of parametric heterogeneity. In view of this circumstance, they cannot serve as a reliable basis for drawing up conclusions on the current technical state of IMs. The topological method of operational diagnostics is focused on recording and analyzing changes in the internal properties of an object and is practically independent of the influence of external factors. This feature guarantees high reliability of the results obtained from applying the topological diagnostics method for estimating the current technical state of IMs.

Abstract Assessment of the current technical condition is an important task, so the state of electrical equipment depends on its further operability. Thanks to modern computing devices, it is possible to implement actively artificial intelligence and computer-assisted learning methods that allow achieving high efficiency in data processing. A study was conducted and an algorithm for diagnosing the technical condition based on an artificial neural network was developed. A model based on a multilayer perceptron is proposed, which allows evaluating the technical condition of a high-voltage power transformer. The result of the technical diagnostics of the model is the assignment of the condition to one of the five classes, proposed by the guidelines presented by the International Council on Large Electrical Systems. The methodology is presented on the example of a 250 MVA transformer with a certain defect history, which allowed us to show the reliability and validity of the obtained results. It is shown that the use of the proposed model makes it possible to achieve accuracy in determining the technical condition of 0.95. The introduction of this model into an automated monitoring and diagnostics system will allow assessing the technical condition of electrical equipment in real time with sufficient accuracy.

The problem of organization of monitoring and diagnosing of the technical state of a four-wire distribution electric network (DEN) by means of an automated information-measuring system of monitoring and accounting of electricity (AIMS EMA) consumed by subscribers is considered. As parameters characterizing the technical state of the DEN, the values of the active resistances of the lines (wires) in the network are taken. The indicated parameters can change significantly over time depending on the values of flowing currents, climatic factors of the external environment, as well as due to wear out of the wires. A technique of the operational identification of resistances of inter-subscriber DEN sections, which uses the data of the distribution network operating modes is proposed. Its implementation in AIMS EMA allows to monitor changes in values of their active resistances. A procedure of diagnosing lines in DEN is presented, it consists in analyzing the dynamics of active resistances values changes obtained at different points in time, and identifying the increase of the wear level of individual wires against the background of flowing currents and climatic factors. It is believed, that external influences lead to the same relative changes of parameters of all wires for the same interpersonal site. The wear diagnostic criterion is an increase of the active resistance values for individual wires with their unequal change relatively to the baseline values, which are determined during observations of the distribution network condition.

To solve this problem first of all a method for the permanent control of gaps in bearings and also static and dynamic forces affecting every bearing is required. In accordance with new RSS 55263-2012 gaps and shaft misalignments are to be controlled with the aid of two couples of shaft sensors for every supporting bearing. For the evolvement of forces affecting bearings it is necessary to solve the equations of lubrication in supporting bearings. In this work there is offered a method which allows carrying out all hydro-dynamic computations in advance. In the mode of real-time for the forces definition it is offered to use the interpolation on ready computation results. To realize this task there are formed fields of possible movements (FPM) of shaft journals in each bearing taking into account single geometrical peculiarities and actual gaps. In the FPM there is formed a grid and for every grid node a computation of essential static and dynamic characteristics is carried out, and the results are saved in a database. In a real-time mode according to the known position of a journal in a gap one defines a point in the FPM and essential characteristics are interpolated. In such a way are calculated all necessary characteristics of a bearing: vertical and horizontal loads, loss power for friction, mean temperature of lubrication in a lubricating oil wedge, a minimum gap, stiffness and damping coefficients. This information of a bearing state is necessary for the diagnostics of a technical state of a turbo-set, and it is impossible to obtain with the aid of common means of control existing at an electric power station. In the paper there is shown an example of FPM formation and a computation of basic static characteristics for an elliptical bearing throughout the entire field of possible movements. The analysis of the influence of gaps deviations from nominal values defined by repair lists is presented. The notion of the field of possible movements is introduced beyond which one diagnoses an abnormal mode of a turbo-set operation characterized by increased temperatures of lubricant or babbit and/or grazes. The methods for the computation of slider bearing characteristics throughout the whole of the field of possible movements with the possibility of smooth interpolation are developed for the application in the real-time diagnostic system of COMPAX

Abstract:
Purpose. Based on the research work of units and parts of rolling stock undercarriage in transient modes of emergency situations it is proposed to optimize the sequential placing of peripheral contactless devices for technical control of locomotives and cars on railway lines. Methodology. Investigation of transient processes of temperature increase of faulty axle bearings of locomotives and cars during remote technical diagnosing allows one to organize theory and hardware construction of the peripheral systems for testing the rolling stock on the move. Automatic control of the technical state of the rolling stock on the move – the last and in some cases the only possible process step, which allows revealing unacceptable defects in rolling units and thereby prevent emergencies in railway transport. Findings. Based on the research it was proposed a solution to the optimization problem of placing peripheral control devices of rolling stock when moving according to the criteria of the linear and exponential nature of heating defective axle boxes of wheelsets and other units of undercarriage. The risks of train stop on the railway line because of the erroneous classification of normally heated axle boxes as overheated, as well as the consequences of classification of overheated axle box as normally heated axle boxes were evaluated. Originality. Optimization model of placing peripheral control devices based on probabilistic criteria for evaluating the degree of permissible risk that, at a minimum, should not be exceeded during the transition to control technical means. A functional block diagram of test hardware diagnostics for the wheelsets when determining the gradations of digital indicators of defects was proposed. Practical value. The value of the results obtained lies in the improvement of a method of placing technical control peripheral devices and diagnosing rolling stock when determining the distance between the control stations in the same direction and organizing tracking modes for railcars with developing defects. From a technical point, reduced error probability is directly related to traffic safety and diagnostic algorithms.

Abstract:
Assessment of the technical condition of the main systems and structures is one of the main stage tasks of technical diagnostics of NPP elements. One of the important elements of the hermetic volume of the protective shells of nuclear power plants is a storage pool (SP) of spent nuclear fuel (SNF). For provision of SNF storage the appropriate systems and structures are used: SNF handling system, SP cooling system and SP by itself. Pools are made of monolithic reinforced concrete with stainless steel lining intended to retain cooling water (boric acid solution) and protect the concrete from direct effect of aggressive environments. Emergency leaks may occur through the SP lining during operation of a nuclear power plant. Materials used for pool structures must be radiation resistant and resistant to a boric acid solution. The structure of the storage pool must be earthquake-proof, must allow monitoring of emergency leaks and maintain a controlled water level in case of leaks for the time period until the fuel will be discharged. Features of failures during operation, results of research and recommendations for extending the service life of storage pools at domestic nuclear power plants with VVER are considered. Assessment of the technical condition of the main structures of the SP provides for specialized research. Thus, the SP survey generally involves visual and instrumental examination of the bottom lining, internal lining, as well as concrete walls and bottom.

Abstract:
Detection of defects at an early stage of their occurrence, especially for power transformers that have worked out the standard term, is an acute problem. This article discusses the possibility of using the system of monitoring, control and diagnosis of transformer equipment (SMUID) electrical systems in conjunction with the automated control system of electrical equipment (ASU ETO) and automated information-measuring system of commercial electricity metering (AIIS KUE) with the use of QR-code, as well as using TeamViewer for the operational elimination of accidents and identify abnormal operation of transformer equipment. Transformer monitoring system is designed for monitoring isolation, recording and analysis of partial discharges, monitoring of technical condition ensuring maximum fault-free service life of transformers. In addition, the introduction of automated diagnostics and electrical equipment is a necessary condition for the introduction of SmartGrid technology in industrial electric networks, contributes to the reduction of capital investments in the renewal of the equipment fleet. The methods currently used do not detect dangerous insulation degradation, are not sensitive to its aging, and in some cases mistakenly assess the isolation condition. The work analyses the operability and quality of the systems under consideration, shows the hierarchical structure of SMUID. By applying the proposed idea with the QR-code, it is possible to speed up the process of searching for information about the current technical state of electrical equipment.

Abstract:
Background: Ultrasound is established as a diagnostic tool in salivary glands for obstructive diseases such as sialolithiasis and tumors. Concerning inflammatory diseases and in non-sialolithiasis-caused obstruction, much fewer data are available. In recent years, technical development has allowed a better assessment of the gland parenchyma, and knowledge about intraductal pathologies has increased considerably, which has provided new insights and a new interpretation of ultrasound findings. Objectives: To provide a comprehensive review of the literature that includes our own experiences and to point out the state of the art in ultrasound in the diagnostics of inflammatory and obstructive salivary gland diseases, taking adequate techniques and recent technical developments into consideration. Data sources and study eligibility criteria: A systematic literature search was performed in Pubmed using various specific key words. Results: According to the literature results, including our own experiences, ultrasound is of value in up to >90% of cases presenting with inflammatory and/or obstructive diseases. Technical developments (e.g., elastography) and the application of modified ultrasound techniques (e.g., transoral ultrasound) have contributed to these results. Today, ultrasound is considered a first-line diagnostic tool in these diseases. However, in some inflammatory diseases, the final diagnosis can be made only after inclusion of the anamnesis, clinical symptoms, serologic blood tests, or histopathologic investigation. Conclusions: Ultrasound can be considered as a first-line diagnostic tool in obstructive and inflammatory salivary gland diseases. In obstructive diseases, it may be sufficient for diagnostics in >90% of cases. In inflammatory diseases, ultrasound is at least an excellent screening method and can be used to establish the diagnosis in cases of an early suspicion. In all diseases ultrasound can contribute to better management and can be used for monitoring during follow-up.
