Regional libraries have a fundamental role in changing regional civilizations, Librarians become an important slice in realizing the role to be optimally active, in various library activities that have undergone various changes caused by the development of science and technology, really need adequate readiness to be able to meet community expectations. The development of e-government as one method to be able to maximize government business efficiency and can streamline the section relating to the service channel to the public, information dissemination is very fast and even, can reduce the cost of printing (publishing) by making an electronic version of the documents available, so it is possible to make cost savings. Abstract:
University libraries exist to support the teaching , learning and research needs of their institution. This is done by providing the latest information sources for the academic community as university library users. This mission can be achieved well through effective and periodic marketing of information and library services, one of which is through reference services. This article discusses the use of reference and information services in supporting distance learning as one of the impacts of the spread of the Covid 19 outbreak (current situation and the way forward). The research method is quantitative descriptive research, with 78 respondents and using literature related to the transformation of reference services in the digital era. Data collection is processed based on the results of observations, interviews of the IAIN Batusangkar library reference service and other college libraries in providing online reference services. The analysis explains the presence of a reference service for students, especially Library Science students at IAIN Batusangkar. Analyzing how the media can help reference librarians in providing optimal services to the academic community remotely. Describe the strategies that reference librarians can use in creating real time reference transactions in a technology environment while maintaining the main function of reference services. Introducing the idea of a ‘new face’ model of reference and information services for the IAIN Batusangkar library in the period of distance learning, especially the rapid change in learning systems as a result of the corona virus outbreak ( covid 19). Libraries need to improve the reference service system they provide, so that the academic community can meet their information needs through library services remotely, anytime and anywhere. At the end of this paper, it is intended that librarians, especially reference librarians. Continue to serve readers with different needs, librarians must walk across the library, access computer screens from all campus intranet systems, answer emails and explore other interactive tools to reach customers in an effective, practical and effective way. Efficient in order to always satisfy users and keep closer to them, as the main purpose of the presence of reference services.

Abstract This article presents an overall reflection on the libraries that were assembled in scientific institutions in France and Italy in the eighteenth century using case studies and comparative approaches. It focuses in particular on five scientific academies (located in Turin, Florence, Paris and Brest) and two Florentine institutions, the Museo di Fisica e di Storia Naturale and the Santa Maria Nuova Hospital. Decisions made regarding library premises, book procurement policies, catalogue publications and whether or not to open to the public were all investments that demonstrated the role of the written culture in the identity of scholarly communities, including those (such as the naval and surgeons’ communities) whose members had long been seen as professionals firmly rooted in a manual practice that was detached from theory. This article thus shows how libraries participated in the institutionalisation of scientific activities, the definition of professional knowledge and the formation of scholarly collectives.

Abstract The purpose of writing this paper is (1) Describe how the librarian's code of ethics is implemented in the Tanah Datar District Public Library; (2) Knowing the relationship between librarians and visitors in the Tanah Datar District Public Library; (3) Describe the relationship between librarians and fellow librarians in the Tanah Datar District Public Library; (4) Knowing the relationship between librarians and their service to libraries in the Tanah Datar District Public Library; (5) Knowing the relationship between librarians working in the Tanah Datar District Public Library and professional organizations; (6) Describe the relationship of librarians working in the Tanah Datar District Public Library with the community in the library. Writing this paper uses descriptive research methods. Data is collected based on interviews with librarians and visitors. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded as follows. First in achieving excellence librarians participate in activities in the library field. Librarians consider decisions professionally by choosing activities about library science. The advantage gained by librarians in serving users is inner satisfaction, lots of acquaintances and motivation to read. Second, librarians serve visitors who come to the library fairly. Scientific works can only be read in the library. Third, librarians achieve excellence in the profession by attending library science training. In establishing relationships with colleagues in the library, a small number of librarians have not been able to establish good relationships with colleagues in the library and question the differences that occur. Fourth, librarians attend training whose knowledge can be utilized for library development. Librarians collaborate with reading parks, and all types of libraries. Fifth, librarians never pay any fees in the library because the activities to be carried out at the library are funded by the local government. Most librarians can distinguish between personal life views and professional needs. Sixth, librarians work with communities in library fields such as literacy tree houses and reading parks established by students. Librarians contribute to the development of culture in the community in the form of a mobile library that can be utilized by the community.Keywords: implementation; librarians; code of ethics.

Abstract:
This study aims to determine the number of human resources needed by the library of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. This research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive method. The data is processed by referring to Law Number 43 of 2007 concerning Libraries and the Regulation of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia Number 26 of 2017 concerning Guidelines for the Preparation of the Functional Position Formation of Librarians. The results of this study indicate that the ideal number of librarians in an agency is 24 people. Meanwhile, the number of librarians in the central library of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang is only 4 people. So it is recommended that there is an increase in the number of librarians who have a D II, D III and D IV background or a bachelor (S1) in Library Science.

Dalam beberapa tahun ini keberadaan perpustakaan di lingkungan satuan kerja LIPI mulai dipertanyakan dan dipermasalahkan karena pemustaka yangdatang secara langsung sudah mulai berkurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi kepala satuan kerja serta para peneliti di lingkungan LIPI Kawasan Jakarta tentang keberadaan dan keberlanjutan perpustakaan dan kepustakawanan di lingkungan LIPI Jakarta. Digunakan metode kualitatif dilengkapi dengan wawancara mendalam. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap Kepala Satuan Kerja serta para peneliti di lingkungan LIPI Jakarta, meliputi PDDI, Pusat Penelitan Politik, Pusat Peneltian Ekonomi, Pusat Penelitian Kemasyarakatan dan Kebudayaan, Pusat Penelitian Kependudukan, LIPI Press, Pusat Penelitian Oseanografi, Pusat Kebijakan dan Manajemen Iptek dan Inovasi dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil dan kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa Perpustakaan tetap diperlukan, karena informasi yang ada di perpustakaan merupakan harta kekayaan intelektual yang harus dipelihara dan dilestarikan agar bisa diwariskan untuk generasi mendatang serta dikembangkan agar didapat kekayaan intelektual yang baru. Namun disarankan agar perpustakaan dilengkapi dengan, sarana dan prasarana yang lengkap dan nyaman, serta diharapkan pustakawan meningkatkan kompetensi agar dapat memberikan layanan dengan lebih baik. Within the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) there are libraries located in each work unit. In recent years the existence of libraries in the LIPI work unit environment has begun to be questioned and questioned because users who come directly have begun to decrease. This study aims to determine the perceptions of the head of the work unit as well as researchers in the JakartaLIPI environment about the existence and sustainability of libraries and librarians in the Jakarta LIPI environment. Used a qualitative method supplemented with in-depth interviews. The study was conducted on the Head of the Work Unit and researchers in the LIPI Jakarta, including the Center for Scientific Data and Documentation, the Center for Political Research, the Center for Economic Research, the Center for Community and Cultural Research, the Center for Population Research, LIPI Pressm,the Center for Oceanographic Research, the Center for Policy and Management Science and Innovation with 30 respondents. The results and conclusions show that the Library is still needed, because the information in the library is intellectual property that mustbe preserved and preserved so that it can be inherited for future generations and developed in order to obtain new intellectual property. However, it is recommended that the library be equipped with complete and convenient facilities and infrastructure, and it is hoped that librarians will increase their competence in order to provide better services.

This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were students and school librarians at SDN Gunung Batu 2, Bogor City. This research was conducted in the odd semester of 2019/2020. The data collection techniques used were observation, documentation, and interviews. Data collection techniques using the Miles and Huberman method, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions are carried out continuously until it is complete so that the data is saturated. Test the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques as well as conducting a member check. And the research results show some findings, namely the background of the role of librarians in increasing students 'reading interest as a form of librarian's success in increasing students' reading interest and habits at SDN Gunung Batu 2, Bogor City. Furthermore, based on the results of observations, interviews, and documentation carried out in the field to related parties who know the problems of this thesis. Librarians provide a mandatory library system for all scheduled classes, hold reading corners, provide good service, hold the latest collections in the library, cooperate with regional libraries, always attend seminars or workshops, always include students in storytelling competitions, read poetry which is related to increasing students' reading interest and habits. In increasing students 'reading interest and habits, librarians certainly have a positive impact on students' reading interests and habits in accordance with the expectations of the librarian's own role. Because the role of the librarian has shown good development for students to be more like, happy, and enthusiastic about visiting the library so that the interest and reading habits of students at SDN Gunung Batu 2 Kota Bogor have increased every year according to the existing percentage.

The presence of libraries in the school environment is basically a process of exchanging information between authors and library users. Various definitions of libraries are discussed in various sources, but the library is defined simply by some people as a place to store collections, especially in the form of prints. This type of research uses descriptive research methods. Domenico Cotugno (1736-1822) was one of the most eminent scientists among them who worked in Naples in the 18th and in the early 19th century. This essay is particularly centred upon the Cotugno papers founded in National Library of Naples (Carteggio Cotugno, mss. S. Martino, 394-401). Among these papers there are many letters written by scientists and learned people, from Italy and from abroad. This writing finally gives some indications about Cotugno's letters founded in other libraries, and a list of edited papers.

University Libraries are sources of electronic resources that are accessible to users. The literature search results show that few studies discuss electronic resource procurement in Indonesian libraries. This article aimed to determine the procurement of electronic resources collections at the Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University (UIN) Library. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method conducted at the UIN Sunan Kalijaga Library. Data collection techniques used structured interviews with seven informants. The analysis results showed seven main findings in the procurement process for collecting electronic resources: the target, budgeting, user specifications, single sign-on authentication, the right team, content duplication, and communication with vendors. The library analyzed the contents of electronic resources to be purchased. Libraries use Ministry and Institutional Work Plan and Budget (RKAKL) funds in their budgeting. Subscriptions to electronic resources are specially for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The Single Sign-On authentication system used is EZproxy. The Procurement team consists of the head of the library, deputy head of the library, technical service coordinator, and general reference coordinator. The duplication-checking process is carried out based on the subject. In the communication process with vendors, the team has coordinated well. The research findings contribute to Indonesia's electronic resources procurement management practices.

The current development of technology and information has a major impact on the development of people's lives, because people must be able to adapt and follow developments in technology and information. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of increasing literacy based on social inclusion. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach by interviewing three (3) informants, namely the Head of the Payakumbuh City Library and Archives Service, the Ipil Susanti librarian, and the community as a member of TBM, namely Sesmi Anggia who participated in the socialization activity. The research results obtained are literacy development activities based on social inclusion at the Payakumbuh City Library and Archives Service which can be said to be effective, we can see this from increasing community literacy and the community gaining new knowledge about business opportunities and changing the mindset of the community that libraries are not only a place to store books but the function of the library is more than that.

This contribution reproduces the text of the speech that was held in the framework of the presentation of the second edition of the volume Nuovo soggettario. Guida al sistema italiano di indicizzazione per soggetto, that took place in Florence on June 7th, 2022. As happened in these years with the subject indexing tools of important national libraries, the National Central Library of Florence, too, has updated the Nuovo soggettario, that saw the light in 2007, today employed by the Italian National Bibliography (BNI) and by most libraries of the National Library System (SBN). The intervention recalls the context factors that led to the project and to the elaboration of the second edition of the Guida, fully revised and updated: the evolution of the international scene related to indexing (new standards, new conceptual models), the semantic web and the linked open data; the development of the Nuovo soggettario system as a whole (increase of terminology, connections with equivalents in other languages, with resources of archives and museums, availability of the Thesaurus in exchange formats and standard protocols, etc.). The second edition’s novelties are then illustrated: a better organized exposure of the standards, more functional to their use, a totally new first part dedicated to the principles and to the general aspects of the indexing, the confrontation with IFLA LRM, the references to the indexing of non-bibliographical resources (figurative works, photographs) of ancient works, etc. Finally, it ends by stressing the importance that the cooperation with other partner institutions and with ICCU has had in this work, and shall continue to have in the future, for a greater and greater sharing of the semantic data on behalf of the Italian libraries.

Introduction. This study aims to examine the most prominent libraries in the classical Islamic period based on Islamic history. Islam in its golden age was once the most advanced civilization in the world.Data Collection Methods. This type of research is descriptive qualitative where data is collected through observation, interviews and documentation.Data Analysis. The theory used uses the principle of the library (Library low) based on Ranganathan. Data analysis in this study used the Miles & Huberman model, namely by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions / verification.Results and Discussion. The most prominent library revitalization manuscripts during the classical Islamic period were the Bayt al-Hikmah Library in Baghdad, the University Library of Cordoba, and the Dar al-Hikmah Library in Cairo. The three universities received enormous support from the government in carrying out their roles and functions in developing science at that time.Conclusion. The result of this research is that the development of Islamic libraries has roles and functions that can be adapted in universities, including study and research centers, scientific meeting centers and foreign book translation centers.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui </em><em>motivasi mahasiswa memilih Program Studi Diploma 3 Perpustakaan, Jurusan Bahasa dan Seni Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak”. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptf dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: </em><em>(1) faktor-faktor yang mendorong mahasiswa memilih program studi Diploma III Perpustakaan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan </em><em>Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak</em><em> diperngaruhi oleh faktor eksternal. The birth of library science study programs was motivated by the development of information and information institutions such as libraries. To carry out the functions of libraries and information institutions, libraries certainly need competent human resources in the field of information science and libraries. Resources in the library field will later be referred to as information experts or librarians. This study aims to determine the motivation of students to choose the Library 3-D Study Program, Language and Arts Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak ". This research method uses descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. The results of this study are as follows: (1) the factors that encourage students to choose Diploma 3 study programs in the Teaching and Education Faculty Library of Tanjungpura University in Pontianak are influenced by external factors. External factors that encourage them are mostly carried out by parents of close family of the students concerned. As many as 42 respondents or around 56.7% of students are encouraged by their parents and close relatives and only 13 respondents or around 17.5% are of their own volition. Indonesia has a lower number of research quality than other countries. Repositories of scientific works through university libraries in Indonesia can be an alternative reference for academics in compiling research. Academic writings published by academics of a campus can be a reference for other academics to compile further research. This study aims to analyze whether there is a correlation between the number of scientific papers and publications on Scopus. This study uses quantitative methods with secondary data. The independent variable is the number of scientific works majoring in information science libraries at the Airlangga University library. The dependent variable is the number of publications on the Scopus website. Data were analyzed by simple linear regression method. The data range of this study is for the last five years, namely from 2014 to 2021. The results of this study indicate that the F value is proven to be significant because the P-Value is below 0.05. This proves that the number of theses significantly affects the number of publications on Scopus with topics or majors about libraries. This is because in addition to the campus requires a lot of research outputs, namely publications, there are also many theses that can be developed so that they can be used as good writings, so that they can be published in Scopus indexed journals. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the largest number of theses was produced in 2017, but did not correlate with the number of papers on Scopus in 2017.

The quality of basic education in remote areas, especially in Kopeng Village, is far from expected. This can be seen from the low participation of access to education, limited educational facilities and infrastructure, lack of educational social media, low social relations and communication, low motivation of educational participation, lack of utilization of educational resources, lack of availability of tutoring, low educational entertainment, the variety of educational games that are still very limited and the lack of increased learning with nature. This condition will also definitely give birth to a very conventional learning nuance. Departing from the empirical facts above, it is necessary to design a comprehensive program to advance basic education in Kopeng Village by developing school libraries to encourage the literacy culture of the younger generation in the village through the socialization of literacy movements for students, the establishment of smart houses to strengthen the function of regional libraries and conduct diligent reading movements for the people in the village. The role of libraries in education is very important, namely to help the implementation of education well. School libraries will be useful if it facilitates the achievement of the goals of the teaching and learning process in schools. Indications of these benefits are not only in the form of high achievement of students, but furthermore, among others, students can find, find, filter and assess information, students are accustomed to self-study, students are trained towards responsibility, students are always following the development of science and technology, and so on. Kualitas pendidikan dasar di daerah terpencil khususnya di Desa Kopeng masih jauh dari harapan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rendahnya partisipasi akses pendidikan, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana edukasi, kurangnya media sosial edukasi, rendahnya hubungan sosial dan komunikasi, rendahnya motivasi partisipasi pendidikan, kurangnya pemanfaatan sumber pendidikan, belum tersedianya bimbingan belajar, rendahnya hiburan edukasi, ragam permainan edukasi yang masih sangat terbatas dan kurang adanya peningkatan belajar dengan alam. Kondisi tersebut juga pasti akan melahirkan nuansa belajar yang sangat konvensional. Berangkat dari fakta empiris di atas maka perlu untuk merancang sebuah program yang komprehensif dalam rangka memajukan pendidikan dasar di Desa Kopeng dengan melakukan pengembangan perpustakaan sekolah untuk mendorong budaya literasi generasi muda di desa tersebut melalui sosialisasi gerakan literasi untuk siswa, pembentukan rumah pintar untuk memperkuat fungsi perpustakaan daerah serta melakukan gerakan rajin membaca untuk masyarakat di desa tersebut. Peranan perpustakaan di dalam pendidikan amatlah penting, yaitu untuk membantu terselenggaranya pendidikan dengan baik. Perpustakaan sekolah akan bermanfaat apabila benar-benar memperlancar pencapaian tujuan proses belajar mengajar di sekolah. Indikasi manfaat tersebut tidak hanya berupa tingginya prestasi murid-murid, tetapi lebih jauh lagi, antara lain adalah murid-murid mampu mencari, menemukan, menyaring dan menilai informasi, murid-murid terbiasa belajar mandiri, murid-murid terlatih ke arah tanggung jawab, murid-murid selalu mengikuti perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, dan sebagainya.

Then this is followed by information socialization activities information technology-based information for all school members. Training activities accomplished properly according to the expected objectives of the program. This activity received a positive response from various parties and trainees can apply the use of SLiMS software in school library management. From the socialization activities for information literacy performed by involving all elements schools can increase their citizens’ understanding of various sources of information that can be utilized. So hopefully the school library can provide better service and the existence of school libraries will contribute significantly to the society.

Meski ditengah pembatasan sosial, perpustakaan harus tetap melayani para pemustaka sehingga dapat terus memenuhi kebutuhan informasi. Pemanfaatan teknologi menjadi sangat penting dan dapat menjadi solusi dalam memberikan layanan pemustaka dimasa pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan SMAN 1 Cicalengka belum menerapkan otomasi dan katalogisasi elektronik di perpustakaan. Hal ini disebabkan karena perpustakaan belum memiliki SDM yang mendukung untuk melaksanakan katalogisasi dan otomasi. Tidak adanya staf lulusan ilmu perpustakaan menjadi salah satu alasan belum diterapkannya otomasi perpustakaan dan belum adanya katalog elektronik. Dengan melakukan penelitian ini, penulis berharap dapat memberikan solusi bagi para pustakawan di SMAN 1 Cicalengka sehingga dapat melakukan otomasi perpustakaan dan dapat mewujudkan katalogisasi elektronik dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi SLiMS 9 versi Bulian. Application of the Bulian version of the SLiMS 9 Application to Create an Electronic Catalog at the Library of SMAN 1 Cicalengka. This study aims to determine the cataloguing system applied in the library of SMAN 1 Cicalengka. The Covid-19 pandemic has hit the whole world for almost two years. All aspects of life continue to struggle to survive amid the Covid-19 virus pandemic, so life continues. Libraries as information providers also do this. Even amid social restrictions, libraries must continue to serve their users to continue to meet their information needs. The use of technology is crucial and can be a solution in providing user services during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, data collection is done by interview. The results showed that the library of SMAN 1 Cicalengka had not implemented automation and electronic cataloguing in the library. The library does not yet have human resources to support cataloguing and automation. The absence of library science graduates is one of the reasons why library automation has not been implemented, and there is no electronic catalogue. By conducting this research, the authors hope to provide a solution for librarians at SMAN 1 Cicalengka to automate the library and realize electronic cataloguing by utilizing the Bulian version of the SLiMS 9 application.

The research is aimed to know the literacy skill of open university library science student. This is a descriptive research with sample of open university library science student as many as 910 student among 6063 students. Tested by using the rate value. The results showed that the information literacy skills of the students of the open university library science study program were skilled. With the following details: (1) the ability of students to determine the rerequired information needs with an average score of 2.85 is included inte skilled category. (2) the ability of students to find the information needed effectively and efficiently with and average score of 2.77 skilled category. (3) evaluation of information and sources criticall with an average score of 2.71 in the skilled category. (4) capability of using the information to accomplish particular purposes with an average score of 2.77 in the skilled category. (5) understanding economic, legal, and and social aspects which are related the use of information with an average score of 2.84 in the skilled category. The researcher’s suggestion from the result of the research found is necessary to improve students’ information literacy skill to develop students’ literacy skills so that they can complete various tasks that are well received.

Information and technology developments have changed the culture of manual library services to digital. School libraries have a role in providing digital information to students in schools. This study aimed to determine library management in supporting the digital literacy movement in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2, Madiun City, through an analysis of library planning, implementation, and evaluation activities. The results showed that the library's digital literacy program planning activities were based on class, school culture, and the community. The process of formulating digital literacy program planning used an analysis of the madrasa work plan, previous programs, internal and external factors, analysis of the competence and potential of program implementers, and socialization. The library implementation activities are formulating programs, dividing the implementing team, and creating work instructions by establishing coordination and good relations with program implementers, the head of the library, the implementing team and teachers, the head of the library, and the head of the madrasa. Evaluation activities are in the form of internal evaluation by the head of the library and the head of the madrasa, performance evaluation by the implementing team, evaluation of performance results, and evaluation of program achievement. Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2, Madiun City, has developed android-based library access, electronic catalog, and social media. Thus, it concludes that library management has been running quite well in supporting the digital literacy movement in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Madiun City.

Gallery, Library, Archive, and Museum (GLAM) for biodiversity is a documentation center for research institutions on biodiversity as a means of transferring information and knowledge to the public. The functions of education, research, preservation, information, and recreation can be obtained from GLAM. The goal of this study is to inform the potential and form of GLAM innovation in the Cibinong area so that it can become a National Documentation Center for Biodiversity.Methods. The research method uses the observation method by looking at facts in the field and literature studies to support this research.Results and discussion. This study describes the Cibinong Science Center area has five libraries of various disciplines. Regarding biodiversity, the Cibinong area has a biology library with a collection of more than 10,000 books. In the zoology building, there is an animal biodiversity gallery located under the library building. In addition, the Research Center for Biology has a collection of animal specimens in the zoology building, a collection of herbarium specimens at the Botanical Building and the InaCC Building (Indonesian Culture Collection) to store microorganisms.Conclusions. The concept of developing GLAM for Biodiversity in Cibinong Science Center can be applied. Collaboration with other documentary unit manager such archivist and specimen curators must be carried out in order to create GLAM for Biodiversity. The concept of innovation in the development of GLAM is to integrate it in one building and management.

The purpose of this study was to describe the Management of the Library Automation System Professional (LIANSPRO) at the Al Hikmah Elementary School Surabaya Library using the Human Organizing Technology (HOT) Fit Model system evaluation method. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study research design. Collecting data using interview, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis uses data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data in this study was tested for credibility, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test. The results showed (1) good and supportive technology, supportive organizational structure and environment, and convenience and usefulness for users of the lianspro system that provided an effective and efficient impact with excellent service at the Al Hikmah Elementary School Surabaya library. The technological, organizational, and human components show the results of the system evaluation using the HOT Fit Model method which explains that the implementation of the lianspro system in the Al Hikmah Elementary School Surabaya library is running well and provides benefits for the development of a literacy culture in schools; and (2) In the application of the lianspro system at the Al Hikmah Elementary School Surabaya library, there are several obstacles both in process and management. In conclusion, the results of this study indicate that the use of a professional library automation system provides excellent service to visitors to the Al Hikmah Elementary School Surabaya library. Libraries are many stores various reference sources. Library became one of the places to study science. UGM Library has a data includes printed books, electronic books, print journals, online journals, scientific papers lecturer repository. One of the users of the library are Gadjah Mada University academic community who come to the library to look for references to make scientific papers. This study aims to determine the level of user visits a library in one week and knowing the tendency of academics looking for the source of reference in the manufacture of scientific papers. This research using quantitative descriptive method with a sample of 982 based on the formula Slovin. The results showed that; 1). Academics often visit both physical and virtual library by 53% with the intensity of visits 1-2 times a week 2). UGM academic community were divided into 4 groups (Agrokomplek, Health, Saintek, SocioHumanities) shows that most online journal as a reference as a source of scientific reference of 22.65%.

Katalog naskah Nusantara itu memuat informasi asal usul naskah, isi naskah, dst. Lebih jauh lagi, tentu saja seharusnya perpustakaan PTKIN menyediakan naskah-naskah kuno tersebut, sekalipun dalam bentuk digital. Salah satu bentuk penyelamatan naskah kuno itu melalui program digitalisasi. Dalam konteks itulah filologi Nusantara penting untuk menjadi alat bantu dalam pengembangan perpustakaan PTKIN.</p><p>Sebenarnya, filologi bukanlah ilmu baru di lingkungan PTKIN. Hanya saja, kajian Islam berbasis filologi masih dapat dihitung dengan jari. Karena itu, sangat wajar juga jika pihak perpustakaan hingga saat ini masih belum ada koleksi khusus tentang hal itu. Berangkat dari kegelisahan itulah nampaknya penting diungkapkan saat ini sebagai kajian awal tentang filologi Nusantara dan perpustakaan. Pengalaman kecil di Pusat Perpustakaan IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon melalui layanan khusus <em>Cirebonese Corner </em>dapat menjadi pintu awal kajian ini.</p><p><strong><em>Abstract;</em></strong><em> There are discomfort and worry among library users when they want to study Islam in Indonesia based on ancient manuscripts. One of them is caused by the unavailability of primary references about ancient manuscripts in the library of PTKIN. In the meantime, they find them such references by searching through a catalog of ancient manuscripts which has been around since the 1950s, written by Poerbatjaraka, Voorhoeve, and Hoykaas entittled Indonesische Handschriften. The catalog contains information of origin of scripts, contents, and so on. Furthermore, PTKIN libraries should provide these ancient texts, albeit in digital form. And it is through such digitization program that we can save manuscripts. It is also in the context that the philology of Nusantara becomes important to be assistive instrument to develop PTKIN libraries.</em></p><p><em>Actually, philology is not a new science in the PTKIN. As a university subject, philology, or the study of ancient texts, is taught in the Department of Islamic Civilization, Faculty of Adab and Humanities. However, studies based on philology Islam are relatively low. Therefore, it is reasonable that libraries have no special collections on it. With this background, it is the time to raise the two issues as a stepping stone for the study of Nusantara philology and Libraries. In other words the implication is that truth or knowledge is when a material or concept can be acquired from experience by observing its practical use. The approach to studies used in this article is the study of the literature and observation of experimental empirical philosophy, collecting some existing libraries, data, and news that were later analyzed and thus obtained its essence. The results of the discussion in this article explain that teacher competence at the MAS Al-Barakah education institute is progressing in the field of study of science not only only the learning materials in the classroom but the experience also directed teachers to apply the learning methods acquired with practical and creative concepts, with practice and this experience will be helpful when teachers teach class as well as outside the class.

The COVID-19 pandemic presents its own challenges in the education sector (schools) to adapt quickly so that they can still carry out and present education optimally to students even in limited circumstances. One of the efforts that continue to be made by the school is the application of information technology as a learning medium. The partner for this Community Service activity is SMP YLPI Marpoyan Pekanbaru, which during the pandemic experienced obstacles in using the library and using the Learning Management System (Google Classroom). To that end, the team built the book&quiz application and conducted training on the use of the book&quiz application and Google Classroom. The application of the book&quiz application is believed to be able to facilitate the management of digital libraries and increase students' reading interest. In addition, the use of Google Classroom can support more optimal online class management. Overall, the teachers are very satisfied and helped by this community service activity.

Writing and searching for data are obtained through documents, especially documents written in the form of scientific papers. These sources can be accessed in various ways such as through libraries and online media.The results showed that the palace or palace had a big role in intellectual activities during the Palembang Darussalam Sultanate. This is because the ruler or the Sultan provided extraordinary facilities and patronage to the ulama, so that scholars, writers, and poets emerged whose works are still read and taught by the people of the archipelago to this day, such as the two magnum opus works of al-Palimbani, Sair as-Salikin, and Hidayat. al-Salikin, the knowledge, and thoughts that had grown up in the Palembang Darussalam Sultanate as well as those that had grown in Aceh in the previous century, still carry the characteristics that marked the minds of the Islamic world in general at that time. The interest in Greek Philosophy and Science began to be developed in the 9th century AD during the reign of the fifth Umayyad, namely Muhammad Ibn Abd al-Rahman (832-886 AD) at the initiative of al-Hakam (961-976 AD), the scientific works, libraries and universities are able to rival Baghdad as the main center of science in the Islamic world.

Abstract We developed primer sets for eight di-, tri-, and tetranucleotide microsatellite loci for the threatened vernal pool fairy shrimp Branchinecta lynchi from CA, CAA, ATG, CAGA, and TAGA enriched genomic libraries. We tested primers in 74 individuals of B. lynchi from California, as well as 19 individuals from six other Branchinecta species: B. coloradensis, B. constricta, B. dissimilis, B. lindahli, B. mesovalensis, and B. oriena. The eight loci showed sufficient variability for investigations of B. lynchi evolution, population structure, and genetic diversity and may provide a new tool for assisting in delineation of management areas.

Penelitian berjenis kualitatif-deskriptif ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (literature research), dilakukan selama tiga bulan dari Maret hingga Mei 2017. Sumber data berupa bahan pustaka tentang musik di Kalimantan Selatan diperoleh dari berbagai perpustakaan di Kota Banjarmasin. Selain itu, dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti juga melakukan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen terkait subjek penelitian ini. Keabsahan data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui perpanjangan keikutsertaan peneliti, ketekunan pengamatan, triangulasi, diskusi sejawat/pakar, serta dengan kecukupan referensial. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah tersusunnya sebuah bibliografi kesenian musik di Kalimantan Selatan dengan beberapa catatan berikut. Dalam kurun waktu hampir 40 tahun (1978—2017), tercatat sebanyak 17 terbitan dengan subjek musik di Kalimantan Selatan. Dari 15 terbitan yang dapat ditelusuri, diketahui bahwa sebagian besar masih menggarap khazanah musik tradisional di Kalimantan Selatan, seperti musik Gamelan, Panting, Kintung, dan lain-lain. Terbitan-terbitan lain yang membahas musik modern-populer belum banyak dilakukan. Selain itu, jumlah 17 terbitan dalam kurun waktu empat dasawarsa dapat dikatakan masih belum mencerminkan kondisi yang ideal dalam perkembangan ilmu musik di daerah Kalimantan Selatan. This descriptive qualitative research uses literature research method, conducted for three months from March to May 2017. In addition, in data collection, researchers also conducted observations, interviews and document studies related to this research subject. The validity of this research data is obtained through extension of researcher's participation, observational persistence, triangulation, peer/expert discussion, and with referential adequacy. The result of the research is the compilation of a bibliography of music art in South Kalimantan with the following notes. In the period of nearly 40 years (1978-2017), there were 17 publications with the subject of music in South Kalimantan. Of the 15 publications that can be traced, it is known that most are still working on the treasures of traditional music in South Kalimantan, such as Gamelan music, Panting, Kintung, and others. Other publications that discuss modern-popular music have not been widely practiced. The early onset of covid-19 in 2020 causes a complete shutdown of all activities including those of services in the library to avoid direct contact with users in order to prevent the spread of this covid-19 virus. The purpose of this study is to fulfill the tasks that teachers have given you and to find out what innovations the unpad library has made to serve students or other users in spite of this covid-19 pandemic. The study USES descriptive qualitative methods on concepts related to library science, as well as to analyze the practices used in libraries during the pandemic. Data obtained through interviews conducted by researchers by sending some questions through the email of the unpad central library staff. The data already obtained will be presented in a descriptive form, so it will outline the importance of providing online library services by applying digital predating concepts. By subscribing to multiple journals and e-book databases, information-related services are still needed to support student and lecturer research, in this case libraries can engage in inter-library cooperation. This study focuses on the theme of the modernization of Islamic education by reintroducing a Muslim intellectual in the repertoire of Islamic thought in modern era, Fazlur Rahman, a Muslim scholar who positioned himself in the Neo-modernist group. This type of research is library research, with a descriptive-qualitative approach, a research methods that aim to describe in full and in depth about social reality and various phenomena that occur in society. The results showed that the Fazlul Rahman's idea of the modernization of Islamic education was motivated by his anxiety about the development of Islamic education which was increasingly left behind and tended to be stagnant. According to Rahman this is due to the many problems in Islamic education, such as: 1) the purpose of education that is not directed in a positive, education tends to be incentive, 2) the existence of educational dichotomy 3) low quality of students, 4) lack of quality and professional educators 5) and the limited Islamic literature available in several libraries and educational institutions. Through his ideas, he tried to renew Islamic education by not forgetting the classical heritage of Muslims. His criticism is directed at the orientation of Islamic education which should not only focus on the needs of the world or the hereafter, but must be both, the world and the hereafter. This study aimed to describe PPL activities in school libraries, including planning, implementation and monitoring. This study used descriptive method with quantitative approach. The respondents were PPL teacher supervisors. The implementation (planning, implementation and monitoring) of PPL in school library supported the achievement of UPI vision. It was based on the statement of teacher supervisors who stated that PPL implementa-tion in school library was in accordance with the vision of UPI as a leading and outstanding uni-versity in education field. This study also resulted in some recommendations for next PPL activi-ties, which highlighted the requirement to strengthen students’ competencies as future school li-braries, especially on managerial and educational competencies. UPI sebagai salah satu LPTK yang mempunyai visi sebagai universitas pelopor dan unggul pada bidang pendidikan diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada kemajuan pendidikan, terutama sekolah mitra UPI. Program Studi Perpustakaan dan Ilmu Informasi pada tahun 2017 menyelenggarakan Program Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) di perpustakaan sekolah selama satu semester penuh. Permasalahan pokok penelitian ini adalah: “Bagaimanakah implementasi (perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pemantauan) PPL di perpustakaan sekolah dalam mendukung visi UPI sebagai universitas pelopor dan unggul pada bidang pendidikan?” Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kantitatif. Responden penelitian ini adalah guru pamong PPL. Implementasi PPL di perpustakaan sekolah mendukung pencapaian visi UPI, hal tersebut berdasarkan pernyataan guru pamong menyatakan penyelenggaraan PPL di per-pustakaan sekolah sangat sesuai dengan visi UPI sebagai universitas pelopor dan unggul pada bi-dang pendidikan. Rekomendasi pada kegiatan PPL selanjutnya yaitu masih perlu penguatan kom-petensi mahasiswa sebagai calon pustakawan sekolah, terutama pada kompetensi manajerial dan kependidikan.

Abstract:
This paper presents a regularization framework that aims to improve the fidelity of Tikhonov inverse solutions. At the heart of the framework is the data-informed regularization idea that only data-uninformed parameters need to be regularized, while the data-informed parameters, on which data and forward model are integrated, should remain untouched. We propose to employ the active subspace method to determine the data-informativeness of a parameter. The resulting framework is thus called a data-informed (DI) active subspace (DIAS) regularization. Four proposed DIAS variants are rigorously analyzed, shown to be robust with the regularization parameter and capable of avoiding polluting solution features informed by the data. They are thus well suited for problems with small or reasonably small noise corruptions in the data. Furthermore, the DIAS approaches can effectively reuse any Tikhonov regularization codes/libraries. Though they are readily applicable for nonlinear inverse problems, we focus on linear problems in this paper in order to gain insights into the framework. Various numerical results for linear inverse problems are presented to verify theoretical findings and to demonstrate advantages of the DIAS framework over the Tikhonov, truncated SVD, and the TSVD-based DI approaches.

This is what lies behind the author's research on effective communication skills in serving the reference librarian at the Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This study aims to determine the general effective communication skills, how to build effective communication and the factors that hinder effective communication skills in serving the reference librarian at the library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative research approaches. The research results indicate that communication reference librarian in serving users are already skilled and effective. As for how to build effective communication is done by reference librarian in serving users is how to understand and fulfill the aspects of effective communication as a full relief, tolerance, respect / respect, empathy, caring, polite, caring, can be heard, clearly, trust, caring and humble attitude. With its unique square-shaped culm, Chimonobambusa hirtinoda C.S. Chao & K.M. Lan is a critically endangered species, and its natural habitat is solely restricted to Doupeng Mountain in Guizhou, China. Two small-insert libraries from C. hirtinoda were constructed and sequenced. Approximately 127.83 Gb of highquality reads were generated and assembled into 9,320,997 contigs with a N50 length of 213bp, thereby producing 8,867,344 scaffolds with total length of 2.01 Gb. An estimated genome size of C. hirtinode was 2.86 Gb on the basis of k-mer frequency analysis, with the GC content of 45.40%. The repeat rate and heterozygous ratio were 74.11 and 1.48% in C. hirtinoda genome, respectively. Finally, 65,398 SSR loci were identified in the assembled contigs, including 58.66% tri-nucleotide, 27.42% di-nucleotide, 7.94% tetranucleotide, 3.67% penta-nucleotide, and 2.31% hexa-nucleotide. Results of this study are useful not only for ecological conservation of C. hirtinoda, but also for phylogenetic studies.

Based on Law Number 11 of 2019 concerning the National System of Science and Technology chapter 40 regulating the mandatory handover of primary data for the output of research, it is necessary to measure the level of data literacy among librarians of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). As a newly formed institution, BRIN requires a reference for the leadership in implementing the law. This study aims to determine the level of data literacy among librarians based on agency origin, education, age, gender, years of service, and level of position. The method used is a survey of 68 respondents from Ex BATAN, BPPT, LIPI, and LAPAN. The indicators consist of data culture, searching, visualizing, communicating, assessing interpreting data. Data processing used SPSS 26 and Lickert scale. The result of this study is that in general, the level of data literacy of BRIN librarians was in a good category. The level of data literacy of BPPT librarians is in the first position, the librarian with undergraduate education level has the highest scores. Women are more literate than men. Librarians with 10-15 years of service entered the first position. Librarians aged more than 60 years and the main expert librarian were ranked first. This study concludes that the level of data literacy in BRIN librarians is in a good category. However, data visualization and communication are in the sufficient category, so it is recommended to provide capacity building for librarians through training and the like.

The effect of vandalism was the loss of the beauty of the book, damaged of paper, the loss of the information of the book thus reducing the comfort of reading. The problems of this study were (1) what is the causes of vandalism collection, (2) what is the weaknesses of librarian and staff so the occurrence of vandalism collection, (3) what is the solution to avoid of vandalism. The method of this study was descriptive qualitative. The populations of this study were the circulation collection at the second floor from 000 classifications (public in general) to 900 classifications (history and geography) that had vandalism by the librarian. Data collection of this study divided into two aspects, (a) primer data, (b) secondary data). The result of this study was for public in general (000) there was 1.700 copies (31.75) had vandalism with the type of the book crossed out, highlighter, torn, and underline. Philosophy of collection (100) that vandalism was 61 copied (1.65). Religion collection (200) 171 copies indicated vandalism. Social science (300) 68 copies indicated vandalism (0.3). Linguistics (400) 108 copies indicated vandalism (2.74). Pure Science (500) indicated vandalism 68 copies (0.71%). Collection of applied sciences (600) indicated vandalism 178 copied (0.999%). Art and sport (700) indicated vandalism 7 copies (0.379). Literature (800) indicated vandalism 141 copies (3.484%). History and Geography (900) indicated vandalism 141 copies (3.484%). The causes of vandalism collection, such as: Peer influence, parents often gives bad example to their children like throwing the trash out of place. Mass Media, the attitude of not taking care of the community to the act vandalism, lack of supervision of staff or librarians against the user/visitor.

The low interest in reading our society greatly affects the quality of the Indonesian nation, because with the low interest in reading it cannot know and follow the development of science and information in the world. With the library, it can give students an "opiate taste" and bring about new habits, namely reading. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The research location which is the main focus in collecting data is SD Negeri 1 in Pamengkang village, located in Mundu District, Cirebon Regency. Primary data is data obtained directly from informants such as school principals, teachers, students, and library staff. Secondary data used such as school archives, and other documents that can support the completeness of primary data. Data collection techniques is a way that researchers do in obtaining data. As for this study researchers used observation, interview and documentation techniques. Analysis of the data used is data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing / verification. The results of the study show that the Utilization of School Libraries in Increasing Interest in Reading in SDN 1 Pamengkang, Mundu District, Cirebon Regency has carried out several efforts, but it has not yet run as expected, due to several factors, namely the state of the library, both from collections, facilities, and also not having librarians, so the library walk improperly following the existing path. Keywords: utilization; library; interest in reading Abstrak Rendahnya minat baca masyarakat kita sangat mempengaruhi kualitas bangsa Indonesia, sebab dengan rendahnya minat baca maka tidak bisa mengetahui dan mengikuti perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan informasi di dunia. Dengan adanya perpustakaan dapat memberikan “rasa candu” pada peserta didik dan memunculkan new habits yakni membaca. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dekriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian yang menjadi fokus utama dalam mengumpulkan data adalah di SD Negeri 1 di desa Pamengkang yang terletak di Kecamatan Mundu Kabupaten Cirebon. Data primer adalah data yang diperoleh langsung dari informan seperti kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan tenaga perpustakaan. Data sekunder yang digunakan seperti seperti arsip-arsip sekolah, serta dokumen lainnya yang dapat menunjang kelengkapan dari data primer. Teknik pengumpulan data merupakan cara yang dilakukan peneliti dalam memperoleh data. Adapun dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Upaya Pemanfaatan Perpustakaan Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Minat Baca di SDN 1 Pamengkang Kecamatan Mundu Kabupaten Cirebon sudah menjalankan beberapa upaya akan tetapi belum berjalan sesuai harapan, disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yaitu keadaan perpustakan baik dari koleksi, sarana, dan juga belum mempunyai pustakawan sehingga perpustakaan berjalan seadanya mengikuti alur yang ada.
