Abstract:
Organizational development in banks management systems (ODBMS) is a complex phenomenon of a sustainable and multifunctional nature. The goal of ODBMS is to generate creative ideas and implement changes in order to provide an appropriate level of rational interaction between the ODBMS subjects. It leads to an achievement of the expected economic and managerial results.Organizational changes that are accompanied by organizational development in the BMS can be controlled and spontaneous, positive and negative. The idea of the article is to reveal the methodical aspects of the managed organizational development of the BMS, with expected positive effects. It would be shown that the offered ideas can be used for achieving organizational goals, avoiding the organizational entropy, increasing the creative activity of bank employees, in particular, in developing new banking products, expanding the opportunities of Internet banking, etc.Achieving certain positive effects from the implementation of organizational changes in the BMS requires a high level of managers awareness about the state of implementation of the goals of the bank’s organizational development, the methods of their implementation, factors that affect the achievement of these goals. In this context, fundamental information about the structure and links in the BMS is important as well as operational information that characterizes the level of completeness and implementation quality of the specific banking officers’ duties. In the article the features of ODBMS are solved, based on the application of the provisions of morphological analysis and set theory. The proposed provisions are considered through the prism of two criteria – the level of managerial awareness and predictability of the results of the organizational changes implementation.

Abstract:
Due to local tidal conditions, vessels coming in from the North Sea and bound for the port of Hamburg – more than 100 km upstream – require continually updated hydrological and oceanographic forecasts. The principal objective of the research project OPTEL (Operational Elbe Tidal Estuary Model) is to provide hydrological and oceanographic forecasts about water levels, depths, currents, salinity, temperature and ice conditions for any tidally influenced place on the river Elbe. By using a numerical model, it is ensured that water levels and currents are coupled dynamically, which allows peak water levels, slack water times, and – in 3D modelling – flow profile to be modelled in a physically consistent way and with high resemblance to natural conditions. The model concept including model output statistics (MOS) and first model results are presented.

Abstract:
A new coastal video monitoring system for Apulia region, southeast of Italy, is under development. It is composed of visible and thermal streams and featured to be included in a wider meteo-oceanographic monitoring network. The system is designed for use on sandy beaches. The regional Basin Authority (AdBP) through previous field campaigns has identified for long-term monitoring purposes two hotspots, prone to erosion and flooding: Torre Canne (Fasano, BR) and Torre Lapillo (Porto Cesareo, LE), facing the Adriatic and Ionian seas, respectively. This paper presents the actual architecture and some initial findings of its implementation aiming at a complete automatic analysis of morphological features and hydrodynamic studies, mainly focused in swash zone.

Abstract:
Development trends in management and organizational structures are considered one of the limitations of the ongoing transformation of the company architecture of enterprises in the Czech Republic. This study is based on the survey data of over 450 enterprises in different sizes and sector categories conducted in 2016–2019. Statistical dependence between the type of organizational structure and size of an enterprise is confirmed with a trend of transition to a department-based organizational structure at the expense of a division-based structure. A high degree of statistical dependence is found between the number of management levels and size of a company. However, a low level of statistical dependence is found between the number of management levels and the sector type. Dependence between management structure/size of an enterprise and its profitability is not confirmed. A critical strategic task for companies is acceleration of the transformation of the company architecture, including the organizational framework, and intensification of the innovation and digitalization based on a transfer of new knowledge into corporate practice. If enterprises accomplish this strategic task, they will generate higher value and they can be more profitable and sustainable. A transfer from classical management structures to departmental structures is demonstrated, which creates preconditions for transformation in process and project management. A new finding is an independent relationship between management structure/size of an enterprise and its profitability; and an opposite trend considering the number of management levels compared to the prediction, i.e., their decrease.

Abstract:
From the beginning of history, a great number of wars caused by conflict of ideologies, racial discrimination, needs to reserve natural resources, and territorial ambitions have changed global maps and streams of history with heavy damage to mankind in all parts of the world. As mentioned above, a lot of events have also happened in persons, families, and every side of society. As results of wars, conflicts, party strifes, and ets., small or great events are inevitable at home and abroad. These kinds of great or small events always follow a crisis. Good crisis management can prevent one from causing great or small events by way of overcoming national strifes and international collision. Looking back upon the past history, wars around 900 times had caused sufferings of the Korean.

Abstract:
The world tendencies of spatial development, namely the availability of limited resources (primarily water) and the growth of the world’s food needs focus on the resource specialization of the region. On this basis, the purpose of the article is to study the impact of the water-capacious economy on the economic development of the country and its regions. The study used the traditional and special methods, including: historical and logical method – to analyze the functioning of regional socio-economic systems under limited water resources; and system analysis methods – to evaluate the impact of the water-capacious economy on the economic development of the country and its regions. The research results have important implications for the management of the territories. The authors show that the production specialization of the regions of Ukraine on the export/import of water-capacious products is not determined by their water supply. They also suggest that stimulating the region’s water-efficient activity should lead to a minimization of the water capacity of gross regional product and the reproduction of water capital, taking into account the water security of the regions. The authors also show that the water resources of the country and its regions and the natural water potential of the territories in the current situation become significant restriction to the economic development of territories, which allows to state the need to change the approaches to the regulation of regional development based on limited water resources.

Abstract:
The research analyses the contribution of personality to the exercise of the management function within the hospitality industry, and demonstrates that the profiles of incumbents can be measured more objectively by the use of self-assessment instruments. On the basis of pilot studies in Hungary and the Czech Republic a the profiles of final year hospitality students were identified and were compared with current job incumbents. Analysis of the findings indicate a mis-match between student and management traits. The conclusions suggest that educational programmes should be modified if the student experience is to be made more realistic and relevant to the needs o f industry. Implementation of the research should result in improved satisfaction of students' career aspirations and on a wider level, it could contribute significantly to management performance across the industry.

Abstract:
Marine transport is an important mode of transportation in global trades. Despite its slow speed, more than 80 percent of transporting goods around the world is by sea. At the present time, transportation between Pacific Ocean and the Middle East region are mainly from existing three routes: Malacca Route, Sunda Route, and Lombok Route. There are more than 500,000 ships of all sizes passing through these three routes every year. It would be advantageous from the economic point of view if one can shorten the travel distance by introducing a man-made canal herein called “Siam Canal” which connects the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand. Hydrodynamic simulation is being conducted to evaluate the conditions before and after the introduction of “Siam Canal” to assess the possible modification of the marine environment. A more detailed feasibility study is underway in order to provide a more definitive assessment on the economic, social, political, and environmental impacts of the proposed Siam Canal.

Full text
Abstract:
The aim of this study is to construct a modeling system that will assist flood risk management strategies in a coastal plain braided river system. The model configuration consists of a hydrodynamic model (ADCIRC) of the river basin that receives tidal forcing at the open boundary and river discharge forcing at upstream flux boundary. An unstructured mesh model resolving the Pearl River channels at higher resolution from the coastline to approximately 75km inland to upstream reaches of the river has been constructed. The modeling system produces water levels and currents throughout the Lower Pearl River Basin. Initial sensitivity analysis efforts on the channel model include consideration of low-flow, average-flow, and high-flow scenarios. Model results were found to be slightly sensitive to slope of river channels and bottom friction to control stability in predictions. The model results were shown to be highly sensitive to the bathymetry of the model that controls the discharge capacity of the narrow river channels and the channel model resulted in elevated currents and water levels under high flow conditions. A channel discharge capacity analysis was conducted and the results showed the need to construct a floodplain mesh around the channel model with more realistic bathymetry and topography so that the flooding scenarios could be modeled with wetting and drying capability of ADCIRC. An initial attempt to develop such a floodplain mesh has been made with preliminary results and more comprehensive validation of the developed floodplain modeling system will extend to reproducing events associated with the historical Hurricane Isaac that impacted the region in 2012. This modeling system will provide an important tool to decision makers that could be used in future flood risk management and mitigation efforts.

Abstract:
A model is presented for developing creative entrepreneurial competences (CEC), which is focused on the formation of creative entrepreneurial and practical skills in a timely manner (Just-in-Time Learning). The proposed model assumes a high level of motivation, deep immersion, and full dedication of individuals and has a cyclical nature throughout their working life (Lifelong Education Cycle). The central figure of the model is an individual who, by choosing an active form of education and following a precise algorithm of actions, can obtain high performance and achieve entrepreneurial success. The formation of an individual’s business consciousness is divided into five stages: UnConscious InCompetence, Conscious InCompetence, Conscious Competence, UnConscious Competence, and the second Conscious InCompetence stage. It is established that the minimum level of creative entrepreneurial competences consists of a combination of basic professional competences, elementary competences of IT&S literacy, and key communicative competences. Furthermore, it is found that an individual’s professionalism will grow until the pace of their learning exceeds the pace of the external environment’s dynamics. Abstract:
Russia is currently at a fork in its economic trajectory. In this regard, issues of territorial development are particularly relevant in the country’s transition to investment-type economic growth. The investment process is the main subject of technical analysis, quality control and regulation at the state and regional levels of management. The purpose of the article is to identify the relationship between such regional characteristics as the state of the investment climate, investment attractiveness, socio-economic situation, index of physical volume of investment in fixed assets based on the analysis of state policy in the field of territorial development. The research used methods of comparative, statistical and system analysis, deduction and induction, generalization, and theoretical modeling. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the state actively supports regions – growth points where special economic zones and territories of advanced development are created, but at the same time, there is an active state support for regions with a low level of socio-economic development. A study of the basic characteristics of the investment development of the Russian regions showed that those regions in which there is a favorable investment climate tend to have high investment attractiveness. However, there is no direct correlation between the level of socio-economic development of the region and the state of its investment climate. Therefore, in order to increase the investment attractiveness of Russian regions, it is necessary to create such macroeconomic goals for Sevastopol that will help to intensify the results of investment processes, remove various bureaucratic barriers for investors in the region, develop tools for the coordinated use of territories, and actively develop interregional cooperation.
