These are also the objectives that this study proposes to achieve through a double approach. First, it proposes a unitary and sequenced method of qualifying the significant imbalance constructed from the two special rules, and, while being applicable to each of special rules, it can also be generalized beyond them in the general rule of common law. Secondly, it elaborates to form a solution principle intended to govern the articulation between the new rule of common law and one of the pre-existing consumer or competition law, consisting of a principle of non-cumulation and non-option which requires, more broadly, a redefinition of the scope of both

Full textDesequilibrium analysis presents the functionning of a decentralized economy where prices are fixed throughout the short period and describes quantity adjustments necessary for transactions to take place. After a presentation of this approach, three critical notes are formulated : the economy described is not a monetary economy; disequilibrium cannot be estimated or does not even exist; explanation of price changes is unsatisfactory. By introducing credit market and financial values, one can remove the first criticism. A stochastic approach enables adjustments to be estimated. Partial price flexibility is studied, too. But excess of rules and regulations does not produce only price rigidity throughout the short period. Quantities inflexibility has therefore to be studied and a price adjustment mechanism to be developped under disequilibrium hypothesis. Because of an arbitration between the two mechanisms, adjustments can take place by turns during the same period while dynamic analysis shows their alternance by period. They can also coexist like in cobweb models or when the economy is characterized by a "contraints-field"

Full textThe price theory belongs to the general theory of the adjustments in desequilibrium. Its progressive elaboration is today certainly one of the most significant development of the economic analysis. In the view point the purpose of this work is to make a synthesis between the equilibrium theory with quantity rationing and the general equilibrium theory in the case of imperfect competition with price-maker. Since 1975 the main concern of the equilibrium models with rationings has been to explain how the prices are made. Than the purpose was no longer to justify the fixed-prices but rather to care about the inter-temporal problems of coordination ; one of the most important concern of the economics. This attitude has lead us : 1 - to present the equilibrium theory with quantity rationing. A presentation which provides the necessary concepts in order to be able to understand the theory. These concepts help us to observe the contribution of the information price-quantity ; 2 - to study the adjustment-processus which are slightly different of the traditionnel fixed-price method. Following the example of j. P. Benassy (1976b), l. A. Gerard-varet - r. Jordan - a. P. Kirman (1986) ; 3 - to examin the main ideas of the analysis of the equilibrium of the imperfect competition markets, models which are today the newstrategic approach of the

Full textThe objective of the theory of temporary equilibria with rationing to the determination of quantities when prices, wealth distribution and agents' expectations are given. Accordingly, it supplies a microeconomic foundation for macroeconomic analysis such that it is presented in is-lm tradition. However, quantities solutions that appear are not stationary as long as agents' endowments cannot remain unchanged when trade occurs, and as they are not necessarily satisfied with the transactions they realise. Prices being given, dynamic adjustment of stocks leads to steady states whose stability and comparative static properties are not always the same that those of temporary equilibria. In order to study prices adjustment in disequilibrium situations, it is necessary to exhibit an exact measure of the effective excess demand that appears in a fixed price equilibrium. From this point of view, the theory of effective demand under stochastic and manipulable rationing is better than that one can get from deterministic and non-manipulable rationing schemes. To every price vector, it associate a locally unique temporary equilibrium with a vector of effective excess demand that must go to zero when prices move according to this "law of supply and demand". This price adjustment may be associated with that concerning stocks into a "non tatonnement" process. However, non competitive price dynamics are not to be excluded since, when prices move slowly, agents can rationally hold non walrasian conjectures about their trading possibilities

Full textSpectrum sensing applications cover wide variety, such as efficient utilization of frequency spectrum, and in medical applications. The conventional architecture used by all the previous publications for spectrum sensing receiver is based on baseband ADC, hence it has high power consumption, higher complexity, and suffers from circuit mismatches and nonlinearity. In this work, we propose using an RF receiver based on bandpass delta-sigma ADC. It is much more convenient to have a tunable BP ΔΣ ADC to simplify the spectrum sweeping task. The previously reported tunable BP ΔΣ ADC’s are implementing tunability in a complex manner. We present an efficient implementation of tunable BP ΔΣ ADC with fixed ratio between the sampling frequency and center frequency. That fixed ratio further simplifies the implementation of the down conversion mixer and decimation filter which serve as the digital backend of the receiver. A spectrum sensing receiver, based on the power-efficient RF front end architecture proposed in this thesis, is also proposed. The proposed complete receiver does not suffer from I/Q imbalance that highly affect the spectrum sensing performance. Simulation results to show the circuit nonlinearity impact on the performance are presented. A circuit implementation of a digital backend of the proposed system is presented. This implementation comprises an efficient down conversion mixer, decimation filter, custom FFT block, and energy detection module. The implementation was validated on Altera FPGA using the on-chip logic analyzer via the SignalTab tool.Studies to show the impact of I/Q imbalance on spectrum sensing performance were previously published. Nevertheless, those publications presented only either analytical or simulation results. In this work, we present the first hardware measurement of the I/Q imbalance on spectrum sensing performance using a commercial SDR transceiver platform. In the medical field, we also present for the first time a study of the effect of RF-EMF exposure on neonates by performing a simultaneous acquisition of RF signals along with recording the physiological parameters of neonates. Using R-Studio, the stationarity of the signals to be correlated was checked, a transformation was performed on the non-stationary signals. Finally, cross correlation between the acquired RF signal (average of the whole spectrum or in a specific band) and each of the recorded physiological parameters did not show an observable impact of RF-EMF exposure on neonates
