Since 1995 with the increasing importance of the service sector, liberalization policy and information technology revolution, the banking sector as a whole had undergone significant changes in India. The case presents a brief outline of the developments which happened in the Indian banking sector and discusses Dena Bank's efforts in the last decade in the area of customer service. The case explores how customers interacted with banks, how banks made money, how external environment was changing the core activities and core assets of banks in India and the opportunities and challenges arising out of all these. The case ends with the question on what Dena's strategy should be in response to the new competition and new technologies. The case is useful in looking at strategic responses to changes.

Economic development of a country depends significantly on banking services. Banks play a crucial role in the capital formation of an economy. Hence, an evaluation of financial performance of the banking sector is an effective measure and indicator to check the soundness of economic activities of an economy. The performance of banking sector is perceived as the replica of economic activities of the economy. The development of the banking industry is considered as a good reflection of the development of the economy. In this paper I have made an earnest attempt to evaluate the performance of selected public and private sector banks using CAMEL approach and including its two parameters calls for earning and liquidity. The data required for the study are mainly secondary in nature. The data relating to the period of 2010-15 have been collected for the purpose. For this purpose, researcher has collected secondary data of SBI, Dena Bank, BOB, Punjab national Bank, Union bank of India from public sector banks and Axis bank, Federal Bank, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank, HDFC Bank from private sector banks.

Banking Industry in India witnessed a large-scale merger in recent times, which was earlier often sought out solution in the corporates to improve the efficiency and profitability. Bank mergers and acquisitions are more often witnessed across Europe and America. We have witnessed few acquisitions/mergers in the past few decades after liberalization. Present situation of mergers in the Banking Industry is primarily due to the failure of some banks with respect to recovery of loans. This would result in incurring losses and failing to meet the liquidity needs of the deposits side. There have been mergers both in Public Sector Banks and Private Sector Banks. It is also observed that some private banks have been acquired by public sector banks in the interest of depositors and investors.This research paper focuses on and analyses the factors that lead to the merger of Bank of Baroda, E-Vijaya Bank and E-Dena Bank. The possible advantages and disadvantages are inferred. Seven years financial data before the merger decision of the three banks is collected for this analysis. Data analysis is done using the financial tools such as Ratio Analysis and Trend Analysis. Various ratios indicating the health of Advances side of the bank and its profitability are calculated. The trend of NPAs and the recovery patterns are studied. The suitability of merger decision with its after effects are proposed to be concluded.

Government of India with its vision to create globally competitive banks has initiated the consolidation of smaller PSB’s in bigger entities. The merger of five regional banks with State Bank of India and merger of two Public Sector Banks (PSBs) Dena and Vijaya with Bank of Baroda in recent past (2019) followed by mega consolidation plan of merging ten public sector banks into four banks is an indication of direction of the wind is going to blow for Indian banking industry. This policy of consolidation is an important tool used by banks for corporate restructuring and is in line with reformist agenda pursued by Govt of India (GOI) since 1990. These entities are to receive recapitalization funds from GOI to boost their net-worth strengthening their capital base. The present research is conducted to understand the objectives and statistics behind these mergers.

Performance of the economy of any country is largely dependent on the performance of its banking sector. Since, banking sector constitutes a major component of the financial service sector. Soundness of the banking sector is essential for a healthy and vibrant economy. The efficiency, productivity, profitability, stability and a shock free economy is possible only when a country is having a sound and healthy banking sector. The present research work has been undertaken to analyze the soundness of five nationalized banks in India. In order to measure the performances of these banks CAMEL MODEL Approach has been applied, incorporating important parameters like Capital Adequacy, Assets Quality, Management Efficiency, Earnings Quality and Liquidity. The finding of the study shows that Bank of Baroda has been ranked at the top position, the Union Bank of India and Dena Bank secured the 2nd position, the next was the State Bank of India which secured the 4th position and in the last position was the UCO Bank which secured the 5th position.

Merger has become an efficient tool to cop up with financial difficulties in all the industries. In past few years Indian banking Industry is going through so many merger and the recent merger which has been taken place is of bank of Baroda, Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank. This study has been conducted to know the effectiveness of Merger to cope up which financial distress in these selected banks in terms of their Non-Performing Assets. The study has two objectives one is to understand the concept of Non-Performing Assets of Indian banks and second is to examine the impact of merger on financial performance of selected Indian public sector banks. For the analysis for factors i.e. Gross NPA, Net NPA, Percentage of Gross NPA, Percentage of Net NPA and Net Profit or Loss have been considered for the period of ten financial years which was divided into before and after merger period as the merger of selected banks was took place in 2019. The results of the study show that there is a significance difference between the before merger performance and after merger performance of the selected banks.

The entrepreneurial role of a manager depends on the entrepreneurial culture. Developing entrepreneurial culture assumes the importance of Human Resource Development (HRD). It is the function of the general climate, development mechanisms and the value base. The present work is based on an indepth study conducted by the author to examine the impact of prevailing entrepreneurial culture in selected Indian Commercial banks. They are: State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB), Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC), and Dena Bank (DB). The entrepreneurial climate leading to entrepreneurial culture has been studied under three broad aspects: (i) general climate, (ii) development mechanisms, and (iii) the value base. The value base forms the main focus of the study. The effectiveness of the value based entrepreneurial culture has been judged in relation to the level of satisfaction enjoyed in all the banks covered under study. The study reveals the existence of an intimate relationship between entrepreneurial culture and employee satisfaction which is supported by the level of mean scores obtained for both the variables in these banks. While the entrepreneurial climate for SBI, PNB, OBC and OB has been estimated at mean score levels of 3.49, 3.41, 3.88 and 2.84 respectively, the corresponding satisfaction level has been calculated at mean scores of 3.84, 3.63, 4.01 and 3.06 for these banks.

The banking industry has been essential to the economy’s development. Mergers and acquisitions are one of the best ways for banks to expand. The government merged banks when banks had more non-performing assets (NPA), less efficiency for work, no global reach, less profitable situation, or had other unimportant features. The government decided to combine three public sector banks in 2019, namely Vijaya Bank, Dena Bank, and Bank of Baroda (BOB). BOB rose to become India’s third-largest bank following the merger. In order to analyze the position of the bank, the study covered various indicators like Gross & Net NPA, operational profit, net profit, capital adequacy ratio (CAR), return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), earning per share (EPS), deposits & advances. Charts are used to analyze these factors, and data from the two years before and two years after the banks’ merger has been used. Secondary sources such as annual reports, websites, various publications, etc. has been used to get the data. After the two-year merger, operating profits rose by 40.11% and 52.96%, while net profits rose by 25.81% and 91.01%, demonstrating improved efficiency. Since gross NPA exceed net NPA, banks had control the NPA such that inefficiency became efficiency. Deposits and advances have both climbed, and the CAR has as well, indicating that there is enough capital on hand to handle losses. Since the merger, EPS, ROA, and ROE have all dramatically increased. According to the study, the bank’s performance of BOB improved after the merger.

The Indian government has announced many schemes for women owned businesses like Bhartiya Mahila Bank Commercial Loan Scheme, Dena Shakti Scheme, Udyogini Scheme, Mahila Udyam Nidhi Scheme and Stree Shakti Scheme.

Satu hal yang penting dari kedelai sebagai pangan fungsional adalah kandungan isoflavon sebagai metabolit sekunder. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan pada biji kedelai varietas Burangrang, Deja 1 Derap 1, Gepak Kuning, Detam, Devon, Demas 1, Dena 1, dan Gema. Pengujian aktivitas antioksidan dilakukan dengan metode kolorimetri, menggunakan radikal DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-pikrilhidrazil). Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beberapa ketentuan penjatuhan sanksi denda kepada nasabah yang sejatinya mampu secara financial namun tidak melaksanakan kewajibannya dalam melakukan pembayaran kepada Bank Syariah akibat adanya perjanjian pembiayaan antara nasabah yang bersangkutan sebagai pengguna pembiayaan dengan Bank Syariah sebagai penyedia jasa pembiayaan. Dalam hal terjadi suatu kasus nasabah yang mampu secara financial namun tidak membayar kewajibannya kepada Bank Syariah dapat diselesaikan melalui tiga cara, yaitu dengan cara musyawarah, melalui Badan Arbitrase Syariah Nasioanl, atau melalui Peradilan Agama. Selain itu, ketentuan mengenai penjatuhan sanksi denda bagi nasabah yang tidak membayar kewajiban namun ia mampu untuk membayar dipertegas dengan diberlakukannya fatwa DSN-MUI Nomor 17/DSN-MUI/IX/2000 yang membolehkan bank syariah untuk memberlakukan denda bagi nasabah mampu namun tidak membayar kewajibannya sebagaimana telah disepakati dalam akad. (This article aims to analyze some provisions for the imposition of fines to customers who are actually financially able but do not carry out their obligations in making payments to Islamic Banks due to financing agreements between customers concerned as financing users with Islamic Banks as financing service providers. In the event of a case of a customer who is financially able but does not pay his obligations to The Islamic Bank can be resolved through three ways, namely by means of deliberation, through the National Sharia Arbitration Board, or through the Religious Justice. In addition, the provisions regarding the imposition of fines for customers who do not pay obligations but are able to pay are strengthened by the enactment of DSN-MUI fatwa No. 17 / DSN-MUI / IX / 2000 which allows Islamic banks to impose fines for able customers but do not pay their obligations as agreed in the agreement.)

<p>Lahan pasang surut merupakan kawasan potensial untuk perluasan areal tanam kedelai namun kemasaman dan kejenuhan Al tanah yang tinggi, serta ketersediaan unsur hara yang rendah merupakan masalah yang harus dihadapi. Oleh karena itu perlu pengelolaan kesuburan tanah yang memadukan ameliorasi, pemupukan, pemanfaatan mikroorganisme, dan varietas yang adaptif. Tujuan penelitian adalah menguji kesesuaian varietas, pupuk organik, dan pupuk hayati untuk peningkatan produktivitas kedelai di lahan pasang surut. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan pasang surut tipe C di Jambi pada musim kemarau (Juni-Oktober) 2017 seluas 5 ha. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan percobaan petak terbagi, empat ulangan (petani kooperator sebagai ulangan). Petak utama adalah empat varietas kedelai (Anjasmoro, Dena 1, Deja 2, dan Devon 1), dan anak petak adalah tiga kombinasi pupuk organik dengan pupuk hayati Agrisoy (1.500 kg/ha pupuk kandang, 1.500 kg/ha pupuk kandang + Agrisoy, dan 1.500 kg/ha pupuk organik Santap M + Agrisoy). Pupuk dasar 200 kg/ha Phonska dan 100 kg/ha SP36 diaplikasikan pada semua perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedelai varietas Anjasmoro, Dena 1, Deja 2, dan Devon 1 dapat dikembangkan dengan baik pada lahan pasang surut tipe C dengan pH tanah 4,5 dan kejenuhan Al 32,35%, dengan menggunakan amelioran dolomit 1,5 t/ha dan pupuk kandang 1,5 t/ha. Empat varietas tersebut mampu menghasilkan biji kedelai >2 t/ha dengan penambahan 200 kg Phonska + 100 kg SP36/ha. Pada lahan pasang surut yang sudah biasa ditanami kedelai, tidak diperlukan tambahan pupuk hayati berbahan baku rhizobium. Penggunaan pupuk kandang untuk budi daya kedelai di lahan pasang surut, dari aspek ekonomi dan teknis (kemudahan mendapatkannya) lebih layak daripada penggunaan pupuk organik Santap M.</p>

This approach does not require knowledge of the efficiency function form. Using empirical input values and results of the financial and banking institutions, we are looking for a weight ratio to maximize efficiency. The article is aimed at evaluating the quality of management of commercial banks using the DEA model. As the methodology was chosen the DEA-modeling, because this method eliminates the problem of heteroscedacticity, which occurs during the parametric modeling. In the methodology of the analysis of the environment of the banks’ operation, commercial bank is considered as an economic unit with specific costs, which, as a result of the implemented activities, are used to generate concrete results. The article develops the principle of extracting information from observations. Thus, compared to the parametric approach dealing with the data averaging within a single regression model, the DEA method allows building up a Pareto-optimal-limit of all solutions, taking into account each individual observation. When analyzing the activities of commercial banks, their assets and the number of employees were selected for research taking into account resources, respectively. On the other hand, the result was the achieved value of deposits, the cost of loans, the number of clients of the bank and the provision of this bank, determined by the solvency coefficient. It is determined that the greatest impact on the results of the research have the size of the received deposits and loans of commercial banks. Measuring the efficiency in this article lies in finding a minimum value of the efficiency ratio, which reduces inputs, but so that the level of the source data remains at the same position. Upon the basis of the research, it can be stated that human resources and assets mostly influence the size of deposits and loans and have a high level of efficiency. Therefore, competition between financial institutions for clients is intensifying.

Peningkatan kualitas mie melalui modofikasi tepung kedelai mendukung pemanfaatan bahan pangan lokal bertujuan (1) untuk meningkatkan kualitas mie, (2) mendapatkan proporsi tepung kedelai yang tepat dalam pembuatan mie, dan (3) untuk meningkatkan pemnfaatan pangan local. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai Bulan Januari sampai Desember 2019. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan yaitu rancangan acak lengkap 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah penggunaan tepung kedelai dari 3 varietas yaitu Detap 1, Deja 1 dan Dena, sedangkan factor kedua adalah proporsi penggunaan tepung kedelai yaitu 0%; 20%; 40% dan 50%. Setiap perlakuan diulang 3 kali. Data yang diamati meliputi sifat fisik dan kimia produk serta uji organoleptic untuk mengetahui tingkat penerimaan konsumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perlakuan dengan substitusi tepung kedelai sebesar 20–40% adonan dapat dicetak menjadi mie dengan kualitas baik. Perlakuan dengan substitusi 20% tepung kedelai memberi skore tertinggi dan disenangi panelis.

The each of financing has different levels of risk. In financing the risk is that the funds provided are not returned, as a result the Bank will get deficit, and it will have an effect to customers who invest their capital, the risk that can cause such losses is that not all of customers are able to manage financing professionally. So that will cause many imbalances that have fatal consequences, both for customers and parties. Therefore to overcome this problem the bank have to do a policy of implementing the system of fine. This article aims to examine the fine policy on the financing of Islamic financial institutions, in particular, this article also takes a look at the application of fines because in essence doing a transaction with the sharia system is not just looking for the profit in the world, but also to achieve the prosperity of the afterlife, therefore, all Islamic Banking activities must be able to be integrated into the maqashid of sharia to achieve prosperity in transactions.

Setiap pembiayaan mempunyai tingkat risiko yang berbeda-beda. Pada pembiayaan resikonya adalah tidak terkembalinya dana yang diberikan, akibatnya Bank mengalami desifit, dan akan berefek kepada nasabah yang menginvestasikan modalnya, resiko yang bisa menyebabkan terjadinya kerugian tersebut adalah tidak semua nasabah mampu mengelola pembiayaan secara profesional, sehingga menimbulkan banyak ketimpangan yang berakibat fatal, baik bagi nasabah maupun pihak bank. Sehingga untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut pihak bank mengambil kebijakan menerapkan sistem denda. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kebijakan denda pada pembiayaan di lembaga keuangan islam, secara khusus, artikel ini juga melihat kebolehan penerapan denda karena pada hakikatnya melakukan transaksi dengan sistem syariah bukan saja mencari keuntungan di dunia saja, namun juga untuk mencapai maslahah dunia akhirat, oleh karena itu, semua kegiatan perbankan syariah harus mampu diintegrasikan kedalam maqashid syariah untuk mencapai kemaslahatan bertransaksi.

Abstract The bank run phenomenon, mostly due to rumor spread about the financial health of given financial institutions, is prejudicious to the stability of financial systems. In this paper, by using the epidemiological approach, we propose a nonlinear model for describing the impact of rumor on the banking crisis spread. We establish conditions under which the crisis dies out or remains permanent. We also solve an optimal control problem focusing on the minimization, at the lowest cost, of the number of stressed banks, as well as the number of banks undergoing the restructuring process. Numerical simulations are performed to illustrate theoretical results obtained.

Despite the widespread use of benchmarking as an effective tool for improving the efficiency of the bank’s functioning, its implementation does not take into account the relation between comparable performance indicators, the choice of benchmark for comparison, deviations of indicators from target values with stages of the bank’s life cycle, which cause differences in the intensity and characteristics of development of financial institutions. The procedure for identifying a reference bank for comparison is also insufficiently specified, which is important in terms of adapting its experience by the recipient bank due to the possible fundamental differences in their functioning. Therefore, the article has modified the technology of benchmarking of the bank’s performance based on the life cycle concept and the DEA approach. The research is based on the use of the DEA method to determine the most efficient bank as a reference bank in benchmarking comparison; canonical analysis – for the formation of a list of indicators of bank performance; cluster analysis – to substantiate the levels of deviations of the actual values of comparable indicators from the target ones. The study envisages, firstly, the selection of indicators for benchmarking comparisons based on the identification of causal relationships between the indicators of subsystems “Finance”, “Customers”, “Business processes”, “Personnel development” that arise at each stage of a bank’s life cycle; secondly, the choice of a benchmark bank for comparison according to the maximum value of the performance indicator calculated through the DEA method for a set of banks that are at one and the same stage of their life cycle; thirdly, definition of the range of deviations (low, permissible, critical) of the actual values of comparable indicators of the effectiveness of management of finance, customer base, business processes and personnel of the bank from the target ones. A practical testing of the benchmarking technology was carried out on the example of Ukrainian banks, whose stage in 2016 was identified as “intense growth”.

Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial dengan menggunakan 5 benih kedelai varietas unggul yaitu Dega 1, Detap 1, Grobogan, Devon 1 dan Dena 1 Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini antara lain: tinggi tanaman, umur berbunga, jumlah cabang produktif, umur panen, jumlah polong per tanaman , berat biji per tanaman, berat 100 biji, dan rata-rata potensi hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan setiap varietas memiliki respon berbeda terhadap lingkungan sehingga pertumbuhan dan potensi hasil yang diperoleh juga berbeda. Pada penelitian ini V2 (Detap 1) memiliki produksi per hektar paling tinggi dibandingkan dengan 4 varietas lainnya. Potensi hasil dan daya adaptasi yang cukup baik di lahan kering masam ditunjukkan oleh V2 (Detap 1) indikator kemampuan potensi hasil dan daya adaptasi tersebut didasarkan atas tingkat produktivitas varietas tersebut.

The law of sharia banks as a monetary intermediary institution which is the main contributor and main funding activity is that various products and mechanisms are facing various dynamics, such as the fact that some customers cannot fulfill their obligations within the prescribed time, resulting in delayed payment delays. In this case, the bank tried to overcome the problem tersbut by applying a penalty on financing in which accommodate the opinion of the Council of Advocates of Islamic Law of the National MUI where the customer can be fined if the customer is late in making deferred payments. In Islam a person is obliged to respect and obey each trust or agreement entrusted to him. If he has obtained a bank loan or financing, then he already trusts other people (depositors or owners of capital) so that if he did default, then it can be said he has done default and can be subjected to sanctions or actions according to the conditions and reasons. In this case because customers do default bank will suffer losses, because it causes bank spend more extra expenses ranging from administrative affairs, to hire a lawyer. The National Islamic Law Council of MUI in its fatwa Number 17/ DSN-MUI / IX / 2000 on Sanctions against Clients Delaying Payments enables the banks of sharia to assume customer to be able to but does not fulfill the obligations of syari 'ah.

The aim of this paper is to analyse three approaches in order to give a comprehensive analysis of the efficiency of the banking sector in Serbia. The paper analyses the intermediate, operating and profitability approach for measuring bank efficiency in order to give an answer to the question which is the most efficient and where can be improvements made. The paper applies a non-parametric data envelopment analysis (DEA) on a sample of 23 banks operating in Serbia in the period during and after the covid-19 pandemic, i.e. for 2019, 2020 and 2021. The results of the analysis showed that efficiency is the highest according to the intermediate approach, while the efficiency of banks is the lowest in the approach of measuring profit efficiency. The fact that the lowest levels of efficiencies in each approach were achieved by small banks with a small market share should be added to the results of the analysis. The results of the research are certainly influenced by low interest rates and the activities of mergers and acquisitions, which are intensive on the Serbian banking market.

By the end of the Roman period, and largely as the result of late Romano-British activity, somewhat over one-half of the tidal wetlands of the inner Severn Estuary between Gloucester and Awre had been embanked and drained. Little reclamation occurred during the medieval period, but early modern-modern times witnessed substantial further activity, leaving scant active salt marsh today. The Romano-British reclamations are recognized on the basis of archaeological evidence and, where direct evidence of settlement is lacking, by the degree to which the reclaimed areas are depressed below the level of the contemporary active marshes along the tidal river. Despite the similarity in the amount of available wetland on both banks, most of the Romano-British reclamations are to be found on the left bank of the Severn, and most of these carry a settlement directly on the alluvium. This distribution pattern points to significant differences in the organization and use of land between the two banks of the river and, when combined with other evidence, suggests that wetland reclamation on the left bank was mostly a feature of the development of large villa estates, with the alluvial settlements representing substantial, outlying farmsteads. Iron-making based on rich ores imported from the Forest of Dean occurred at all the wetland and near-wetland settlements on the two banks, and locally may have taken place on an industrial scale. At Awre on the right bank, however, an early iron-making tradition seems to have survived to a late Roman date.

Database yang digunakan adalah MySQL. Software penghubung antara aplikasi dan database adalah webserver Xampp. Dalam proses pemodelan perancangan sistem informasi ini, menggunakan model prototype yang digambarkan dengan Unified Modelling Language (UML).

The purpose of the paper is to study the specifics of the organization of issue and circulation of digital money by central banks, to summarize existing global expe-rience and assess the potential impact of digital currencies on the conditions of monetary policy, the functioning of the mechanism of money transmission and ensuring financial stability through the implementation of sound decisions of cen-tral banks in the digitalization of finance. Methodology. The study is based on an analysis of the scientific literature and points of view of foreign and domestic ex-perts in the field of digital technology. It is also based on the experience of the European Central Bank, the People's Bank of China, the Bank of England, the Bank of Israel and the National Bank of Ukraine on the implementation of pilot projects for the issue and use of digital currencies, quantitative and qualitative assessment of the impact of new forms of money on monetary policy, the func-tioning of the transmission mechanism, state finance, efficiency of payment sys-tems and payment transactions. In processing the material of the article used a set of general scientific and special methods of research, such as dialectical, his-torical-logical, system-functional and analytical approaches, generalization, scien-tific abstraction and others. The results of the study showed that the proposed digital currencies of central banks should be considered as a new high-tech dema-terialized form of national fiat money. Having summarized the impact of the issue and circulation of digital money by central banks on the main parameters of eco-nomic policy, it can be argued that their use will lead to significant changes in the structure and functions of commercial and central banks, as well as existing na-tional and transnational payment systems. The issuance and circulation of digital currency can significantly affect the nature of central banks' monetary policy, the conditions under which the monetary transmission mechanism functions, and the implementation of fiscal policy. Practical implications. The study revealed the main advantages and disadvantages of using centralized and decentralized models of issue and circulation of digital money by central banks, identified the direc-tions of institutional changes in the development of the banking system and the implementation of monetary policy in a digitalized economy, which will provide a high level of control over all monetary transactions of market players. Val-ue/originality. Using the experience of pilot projects on the issue and circulation of digital currencies of central banks will help to improve the effectiveness of monetary policy, to activate the mechanism of monetary transmission, to ensure the stable functioning of the financial system and reduce the level of shadow economy and corruption.

Problems of double taxation is imposed on Islamic banks actually issue a very long time, and this bustling discussed tax due to be paid twice to the director general of a larger tax. By this provisions, the sharia will be assumed less competitive with conventional bank financing primarily to the product. After government legislation latest VAT No. 42 of 2010, murabahah is not longer subject to twice. Investigators therefore conducted an analyze on the treatment of KCS Bank BTN Shariah Malang. This research is using research of qualitative in descriptive approach, which describes a situation systematically. The data uses both the primary and secondary data, field studies with research techniques are interview and documentation. The results showed that the Bank BTN Shariah Malang KCS on contract murabahah charged once before and after running of the No. 42 of 2009 rule.</p><p><strong>Abstrak</strong><br /><br />Akad murabahah merupakan salah satu produk dari bank syariah yang sebelum 1 April 2010 dikenakan dua kali pajak pertambahan nilai. Dengan ketentuan yang seperti ini, pihak syariah akan menganggap kalah saing dengan bank konvensional denan produk pembiayaannya. Setelah pemerintah undang-uundang PPN terbaru no 42 tahun 2010, akad murabahah tidak lagi dikenakan dua kali PPN. Oleh karena itu peneliti melakukan analisis perlakuan PPN pada Bank BTN Syariah KCS Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuaitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, yaitu menjabarkan suatu situasi secara sistematis. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan skunder, dengan teknik penelitian studi lapangan yaitu wawancara dandokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bank BTN Syariah KCS Malang atas akad murabahahnya dikenakan satu kali PPN sebelum dan sesudah UU no 42 tahun 2009.</p>

Abstact This research aimed to analyze the different financing calculation for buying house between conventional and Islamic bank. The sample of the research is a conventional bank, bank Mandiri while bank BRI syariah represented Islamic bank. This research was conducted in Pontianak in 2016. It was a qualitative research, and the data were collected through interview with both banks’ financing staffs. The results show that the interest calculation of bank Mandiri is based on interest instrument of first year that is 9.50%. Then, because of monthly installment changes annually according to market interest rate, Bank Mandiri through its KPR as a financing product prefers to use annuity interest. This makes interest of KPR Mandiri is cheaper than that of KPR BRI syariah. Yet, BRI Syariah applies fixed monthly installment from the first to last month. It makes the monthly installment of KPR BRI Syariah is cheaper than that of Mandiri.Keywords: Comparison, Financing, KPR, Conventional Bank, Islamic Bank. Abstrak Penelitian ini ingin mencoba untuk menganalisis perbedaan perhitungan pembiayaan kepemilikan rumah antara bank konvensional dan bank syariah. Bank konvensional diwakili oleh bank Mandiri, sedangkan bank syariah diwakili oleh bank BRI Syariah. penelitian ini dilakukan di Pontianak pada tahun 2016. Metode yang digunakan untuk menjawab masalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yakni denan melakukan wawancara dengan staf bagian kredit/pembiayaan. Selanjutnya dilakukan perbandingan harga yang ditawarkan oleh masing-masing bank dengan mengacu pada plafont kredit/pembiayaan.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan bunga Kredit pada bank Mandiri menggunakan instrumen bunga dengan bunga tahun pertama adalah 9,50%. Karena kredit (cicilan bulanan) setiap tahun tidak sama dan tergantung pada tingkat bunga pasaran, maka bank Mandiri dalam hal kredit KPR nya menggunakan bunga anuitas tahunan. Jika dibandingkan selisih harga antara KPR bank Mandiri dengan bank BRI syariah produk KPR non subsidi lebih mahal KPR BRI Syariah, namun berbeda dalam penetapan bunga. BRI Syariah menggunakan angsuran tetap dari bulan pertama sampai dengan akhir angsuran. Jika dibandingkan antara prosuk KPR Mandiri Primary dengan KPR BRI Syariah bersubsidi, lebih murah KPR BRI Syariah dan sistem angsuran juga berbeda dimana BRI tetap menggunakan sistem angsuran yang tetap dari awal sampai dengan akhir angsuran, sedangkan KPR Mandiri tahun pertama tetap dan tahun selanjutnya mengikuti suku bunga pasar KataKunci: Perbandingan, Pembiayaan, KPR, Bank Konvensional, Bank Syariah.

This study aims to analyze the policy of late charge elimination applied to PT Bank BNI Syariah. This policy was initiated at the year of 2016 which predictably lead to the inclination of problematic financing at BNI Syariah. This study provides evaluation and recommendation for policy implementation to reduce the number of problematic financing. This study uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. The research instrument used was through the interview process with BNI Syariah and the DSN (Dewan Syari‟ah Nasional/ Read: National Board of Islamic Law) of MUI (Majelis Ulama Indonesia/ Read: Indonesian Muslim Scholars Council). The results of the study reveals that the application of a fine-elimination policy was applied because of bank doubts about the application of fines to sharia and fines that have no effect on the bank’s income. PT Bank BNI Syariah uses persuasive policies and still applies the ta'widh policy after the application of the fine is eliminated. This policy has a positive impact on marketing but is still vulnerable to an increase in the level of Non Performing Financing (NPF).

The results of the kind showsthat the system fines murabahah funding motor vehicles that implemented BSM in accor- dance with the concept of Dewan Syari’ah Nasional Majelis Ulama Indonesia (DSN MUI), but does not comply with the legal verdict Fiqih Islam that take shelter under Munazzamah Mu’tamar al-Islami.
