This thesis is part of the research on organizational intervention, and more specifically on employee wellbeing in small and medium-sized companies. Starting from a criticism of wellbeing at work interventions based on a quantitative diagnosis, we put forward a systemic intervention method aiming to transform work situations rather than simply diagnose their malfunctions. This method was built from theoretical work based on systems thinking, and was then used as a guide for consultants implemented in five small and medium-sized companies. The purpose was not only practical, as we strived to understand the change processes associated with such a method. We carried out five interventions in various sectors: private or public, service, commercial or medico-social. Each case was then followed by interviews focused on the change representations of the involved parties. In terms of research strategy, a multiple case-study approach seemed best suited to further our knowledge of change processes; the results of the first few cases were deemed temporary and needed checking against other cases, with an iterative logic. This strategy allowed us to further enrich the proposed intervention method in parallel.Four of the five companies involved then initiated changes of work situations. In "entrepreneurial" companies, the changes were implemented before or upon our departure. In "bureaucratic" companies, it took at least five months to see the first improvements of the work environment. The accelerated temporality in entrepreneurial companies is due to the mobilized participation strategy: the changes were implemented at the spontaneous initiative of both the staff and management. This wasn't the case in the bureaucratic companies where we faced slow decision making processes. Those results allow us to better direct theoccupational health practitioners in taking whatever steps they deem necessary, according to the environments in which they operate. The results also emphasize the benefits of the proposed intervention method, and further improvements where necessary

Quality of Life at Work was established in France by the National Interprofessional Agreement signed on 19 June 2013. The concept has yet to be scientifically defined, but ANACT is seeking to make it operational by means of an approach characterized by the consideration of subjectivity at work and its discussion between all levels of company stakeholders. Since the objective is to decide, in a participatory manner, on the actions to be implemented to improve health, well-being and performance at work, the deployment of this QLW approach should be able to draw on the work of activity ergonomics. Research that integrates the analysis of emotions at work into the classic ergonomic intervention approach. At a time when work is being organized to produce services, worker-beneficiary relations are characterized by emotional labor, which has an impact on health, well-being, and performance at work. Moreover, emotions are essentially subjective, and their identification and expression guide our behavior and decisions. In this context, the first study in this thesis will seek to review the scientific literature describing ergonomic intervention methodologies that take account of emotions with a view to deploying QLW. The second study in this thesis will supplement the results of the review by means of a questionnaire survey on QLW actors and practices regarding ANACT's QLW approach, which appears to be underused. The factors that might explain this underutilization will also be studied using the questionnaire. The third and fourth studies of this thesis will be devoted to the deployment of an ergonomic intervention that we have designed based on the ANACT QLW approach and to which we have incorporated the consideration of emotions at work. More specifically, this intervention is a training-action course in the analysis and transformation of activity, structured around several sessions of “work-related discussion forums” (WDFs), the engineering of which is centred on emotions. Finally, the last study in the thesis puts to the test of experimentation the causal relationship between the expression of emotions at work and decision-making. The major contribution of this thesis is a proposal for a new ergonomic intervention approach in activity-based ergonomics, which lends itself to supporting QLW objectives in part. The intervention enables participants to express their experiences at work and their proposals for solutions. It appears to improve psychological capital (efficacy, hope and resilience), modify the empowerment (self-efficacy) and have no effect on work performance measured by the participants' initial intention. The self-efficacy reduction makes it possible to discuss the precautions to be taken before conducting WDF in companies. Indeed, if employees fail to express their concerns to their superiors, their belief in their ability to act may be affected in the long term. Consequently, before carrying out his intervention, the practitioner must ensure that the management is committed to arguing their decision making at the end of the WDF, otherwise the practitioner would have to refuse the intervention. The limitations of this thesis are mainly methodological, since the research methods chosen to conduct our studies did not really enable us to verify the general hypothesis that integrating consideration of emotions into ergonomic intervention made it effective in the context of QLW. The body of work and ideas arising from this thesis therefore constitute a proposal for any practitioner or researcher interested in discussing the subjective experience of work and its consequences for empowerment, health, well-being, and performance at work

In the province of Quebec, children are the focal point of their own education. Teachers and professionals surrounding the student are called upon to collaborate throughout the her or his academic experience in order to help her or him reach their full potential. This collaborative dynamic is even more so essential when it comes to students with a disabilities or for whom educational success is not always obvious. The basic education regulation for preschool, elementary and secondary education in Quebec (Gouvernement du Québec, 2020a) requires that information be provided at least once a month to parents of children with different needs. The purpose of shared information is to encourage collaboration between parents and the school. Unfortunately, this collaboration is not always efficient and many factors hinder a fruitful relationship between the student’s school and family (Bouchard, St-Amant et al., 2000 and Kalubi and Lesieux, 2006). In a school environment, the individualized education program (IEP) is a recognized tool for helping the because students with different needs, it stimulates, among other things, collaboration between the school and the family and requires parent involvement (Government of Quebec, 2004). Actually an IEP is a process which takes part of a dynamic and continuous IEP life cycle (Myara, 2017, p.52)”, throughout a school-family collaboration allowing one to identify and respond to students different needs. This research aims to identify the different forms and modes of school-family collaboration that exist between IEP team members and parents during an IEP life cycle of and determine whether or not the training and support program for IEP development of IEPs (TSIEP) Program allows parents to become more involved. In our method, we adopted a mixed research approach. This was done with the participation of five school resource members and two parents of students with different needs. Data was collected through the analysis of IEPs documents, questionnaires and inventories. The results seems to reveal that although parents usually attend IEP meetings, they do not always arrive as prepared as the school counselors would like. Additionally, although the literature argues that collaboration is essential to a student's educational success, it does not always seem easy to achieve it. However, there are various forms, modes, levels and periods of collaboration during the IEP process, which vary according to the degree of the different relationships, the students competencies and the complexity of her or his needs. As for the impact of the FADéPI program on parental involvement, it seems on the one hand that it could facilitate parental participation and involvement in different ways. However, this participation would not necessarily be proactive and would not result from a true partnership (Bouchard et al., 1996 and Deslandes, 1999), since despite the desire to achieve a common goal and mutual trust, it would not seem there is a real search for consensus in decision-making or even a reciprocal recognition of expertise which would make it possible to create an equal relationship between the participants. On the other hand, we noticed that access to an online IEP template or model, which documents observable, measurable goals, highlights students progress and provides parents with the opportunity to communicate in synchronous or asynchronous mode, promotes parents' knowledge of their child's IEP and facilitates communication.
