Abstract. In oligotrophic tropical and subtropical oceans, where strong stratification can limit the replenishment of surface nitrate, dinitrogen (N2) fixation by diazotrophs can represent a significant source of nitrogen (N) for primary production. The VAHINE (VAriability of vertical and tropHIc transfer of fixed N2 in the south-wEst Pacific) experiment was designed to examine the fate of diazotroph-derived nitrogen (DDN) in such ecosystems. In austral summer 2013, three large ( ∼ 50 m3) in situ mesocosms were deployed for 23 days in the New Caledonia lagoon, an ecosystem that typifies the low-nutrient, low-chlorophyll environment, to stimulate diazotroph production. The zooplankton component of the study aimed to measure the incorporation of DDN into zooplankton biomass, and assess the role of direct diazotroph grazing by zooplankton as a DDN uptake pathway. Inside the mesocosms, the diatom–diazotroph association (DDA) het-1 predominated during days 5–15 while the unicellular diazotrophic cyanobacteria UCYN-C predominated during days 15–23. A Trichodesmium bloom was observed in the lagoon (outside the mesocosms) towards the end of the experiment. The zooplankton community was dominated by copepods (63 % of total abundance) for the duration of the experiment. Using two-source N isotope mixing models we estimated a mean ∼ 28 % contribution of DDN to zooplankton nitrogen biomass at the start of the experiment, indicating that the natural summer peak of N2 fixation in the lagoon was already contributing significantly to the zooplankton. Stimulation of N2 fixation in the mesocosms corresponded with a generally low-level enhancement of DDN contribution to zooplankton nitrogen biomass, but with a peak of ∼ 73 % in mesocosm 1 following the UCYN-C bloom. qPCR analysis targeting four of the common diazotroph groups present in the mesocosms (Trichodesmium, het-1, het-2, UCYN-C) demonstrated that all four were ingested by copepod grazers, and that their abundance in copepod stomachs generally corresponded with their in situ abundance. 15N2 labelled grazing experiments therefore provided evidence for direct ingestion and assimilation of UCYN-C-derived N by the zooplankton, but not for het-1 and Trichodesmium, supporting an important role of secondary pathways of DDN to the zooplankton for the latter groups, i.e. DDN contributions to the dissolved N pool and uptake by nondiazotrophs. This study appears to provide the first evidence of direct UCYN-C grazing by zooplankton, and indicates that UCYN-C-derived N contributes significantly to the zooplankton food web in the New Caledonia lagoon through a combination of direct grazing and secondary pathways.

In this paper, we propose Deep Data Assimilation (DDA), an integration of Data Assimilation (DA) with Machine Learning (ML). DA is the Bayesian approximation of the true state of some physical system at a given time by combining time-distributed observations with a dynamic model in an optimal way. We use a ML model in order to learn the assimilation process. In particular, a recurrent neural network, trained with the state of the dynamical system and the results of the DA process, is applied for this purpose. At each iteration, we learn a function that accumulates the misfit between the results of the forecasting model and the results of the DA. Subsequently, we compose this function with the dynamic model. This resulting composition is a dynamic model that includes the features of the DA process and that can be used for future prediction without the necessity of the DA. In fact, we prove that the DDA approach implies a reduction of the model error, which decreases at each iteration; this is achieved thanks to the use of DA in the training process. DDA is very useful in that cases when observations are not available for some time steps and DA cannot be applied to reduce the model error. The effectiveness of this method is validated by examples and a sensitivity study. In this paper, the DDA technology is applied to two different applications: the Double integral mass dot system and the Lorenz system. However, the algorithm and numerical methods that are proposed in this work can be applied to other physics problems that involve other equations and/or state variables.

There is often excess capacity in detention centers. One of them is in the Class IIA Pekalongan Prison. In dealing with the spread of Covid-19 in prisons, the government makes policies in the form of assimilation and integration for prisoners to reduce the rate of Covid-19 transmissions. The formulation of the research problem (1) how is the implementation process of providing assimilation and integration during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Class IIA Pekalongan Prison? and (2) what is the perspective of fiqh siyasah regarding the provision of assimilation and integration during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Class IIA Pekalongan Prison?. This research is a field research using a qualitative approach. The result of this research is that the process of implementing assimilation and integration in the Class IIA Pekalongan detention center has been running in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights. The application of assimilation and integration in the perspective of siyasa fiqh can be said to be not the same. Thus, the process of assimilation and integration in the Class IIA Pekalongan prison has not been fully in accordance with the instructions of Islamic law. Meanwhile, in the Permenkumham perspective, the provision of assimilation and integration in prisons is in accordance with the Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation No. 10 and 32 of 2020.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the barriers to interaction, integration, and assimilation in Malaysia. The discussion was carried out in order to achieve the goal by discussing the history of arrival and the form of acceptance of the Malay indigenous community to the immigrant group. It also aims to assess its socio-cultural and political impact on societal development, particularly after 1970. Based on this study, Malaysia's indigenous (Malay) community and immigrant group are still in the early stages of developing their interactions, integration, and assimilation. implementation. In Malaysia, the contact, integration, and assimilation processes have been ongoing over time. It is crucial to maintain community cohesion and togetherness in Malaysia. Assimilation is a process of dynamic communication and mutual influence between two cultures, which grow together and adapt to each other. In the Madurese context, social interaction and cultural assimilation between the Chinese community and Madurese society develops in a complex and diverse social space, depending on the historical and sociological context. One example of cultural assimilation in Madura is the attachment of cultural adaptation by Chinese Muslims on the one hand and the attachment of Chinese art and architecture to Madurese cultural works on the other. This study intends to explain the existence of Chinese Muslims in Madura, both from historical and sociological perspective, as well as their struggles amid the flow of Madurese culture which is perceived as Islamic culture. It is hoped that this research topic can contribute to the discourse on social identity, religion and ethnicity. In addition, this qualitative research, that is based on observation and in-depth interviews, is expected to elucidate a piece of social interaction and cultural assimilation among Chinese Muslims in Madura.

The purpose of this study was to find out interpersonal communication in the assimilation of the Javanese and Tamil Groups in the dead alley, to find out the assimilation of Javanese tribes and Tamil tibes in Sei Serayu Buntu Alley, Medan Sunggal sub-district, North Sumatera, and to find out what factors were the barriers and supporters of the assimilation of Javanese and Tamil tribes. This study uses the assimilation theory. In collecting data, research conducted face to face interviews with four informants, including two Tamil informants, and two Javanese informants. This study uses skinative research with descriptive analysis. The results of this study are that there is a mixed marriage between the Javanese and Tamil tribes as well as a factor of tolerance and cultural similarity between the two tribes.

The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of home assimilation for inmates in 2022, and also to know the difference between the implementation of home assimilation in previous years in Sumedang Class IIB Correctional Institution. Researchers utilize qualitative research methods that are descriptive, the author uses literature data and also documentation obtained from the registration data of Sumedang Class IIB Correctional Institution. Peneliti memanfaatkan metoda penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif, penulis menggunakan data literature dan juga dokumentasi yang diperoleh dari data registrasi Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIB Sumedang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan pemberian asimilasi dalam rangka penanganan covid-19 di Lapas Sumedang sudah sesuai dengan regulasi yang sudah ada, dan hambatan yang dihadapi selama ini adalah keluarga warga binaan pemasyarakatan yang tidak lengkap mengakibatkan terhambatnya pelaksanaan asimilasi bagi narapidana.Kata kunci: asimilasi; covid-19; narapidana; pemasyarakatan.

Jakarta Bay is a bay that has an important role in Jakarta, but the activity in this area lead to the potential for pollution mainly ammonium and nitrate. Pollution peaks generally occur during the rainy season (west monsoon). Pollution that enters the bay can be neutralized naturally by water as long as the amount does not exceed the asimilation capacity. This study aims to calculate the total input (load), assimilation capacity, and residence time of ammonium and nitrate in Jakarta Bay in the rainy season. Data from this study is derived from secondary data. For the total input of pollutants are calculated from the input stream, the atmosphere and the boundary. From the research found that the Jakarta Bay had a total load of pollutants NH4 at 115.8 x 109 mmol N /month and NO3 46.5 x 109 mmol N/month. The biggest contributor to the pollution comes from the boundary NH4 is 56.9% and NO3 from the river 70.1%. Load from Citarum river for NH4 around 3.8 x 1010 mmol N/month and NO3 around 3.0 x 1010 mmol N/month higher than Marunda, Priok and Angke the rivers. Assimilation capacity of Jakarta bay for NH4 around 25.7 x 109 mmol N /month and NO3 of 24.1 x 109 mmol N /month. It shows the total load of pollutants entering the Jakarta Bay is greater than the assimilation capacity. The residence time of water in the Bay of Jakarta is 13.3 days longer than the residence time of NH4 and NO3 which were only 8.6 and 9.2 days.

The problem that occurs in Lake Sentani is that it has been contaminated by parameters of TSS, BOD, Pb, Cu, and DO respectively with valuesof 76 mg / L, 4.63 mg / L, 0.035 mg / L, 0.03 mg / L, and 5.72 mg / L because these parameters have exceeded the quality standard according to environmental regulations. This study aims to determine the assimilation capacity of TSS and PO4 parameters and analyze pollution control models in the Tlaga Ria sub-watershed. The research method used to determine the assimilation capacity is a linear regression equation and in analyzing the pollution control model the interpretative structural modeling method is used. The results showed that the TSS assimilation capacity value in Lake Sentani was -12,700 tons/month. The value of water quality in Lake Sentani is above the value of the assimilation capacity, this shows that Lake Sentani has been polluted by TSS parameters. Meanwhile, the value of PO4 parameter assimilation capacity is 44.36 tons/month and since 2016 Lake Sentani has been unable to conduct self purification. The key elements of the Sentani Lake pollution control constraints in the Tlaga Ria watershed are weak implementation of environmental regulations, differences in objectives among stakeholders, differences in objectives between administrative areas, weak support of business owners, conflict of interests, and weak enforcement of regulations.

This article examines the organizational strategy of the Communication Forum for National Unity (BAKOM-PKB) in the process of assimilation from 1977-1998. This research includes the history of the development of BAKOM-PKB to its strategy in implementing the assimilation policy from 1977-1998. This study uses historical research methods, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. This research also uses a social approach and primary sources in the form of documents published by the agency and the state gazette on assimilation policies. The results of this study indicate that BAKOM-PKB is a universal mass organization and was inaugurated by the Ministry of Home Affairs in 1977. This agency aims to be a forum for thought and research to provide input to the government and society on the issue of assimilation. BAKOM-PKB places greater emphasis on assimilation to all aspects of people`s lives through information about the idea of assimilation in discussions, training, and print media, in carrying out its duties. In addition, the existing assimilation policy can create a relationship between BAKOM-PKB and Chinese Muslim community institutions with the same vision in assimilation.Artikel ini meneliti tentang strategi organisasi Badan Komunikasi Penghayatan Kesatuan Bangsa (BAKOM-PKB) dalam proses Asimilasi tahun 1977-1998. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa BAKOM-PKB merupakan organisasi massa yang universal serta diresmikan oleh Departemen Dalam Negeri pada tahun 1977. Badan ini memiliki tujuan sebagai wadah pemikir dan penelitian untuk memberikan masukan kepada pemerintah dan masyarakat mengenai masalah pembauran. This research is qualitative method. The results of this study are; cultural assimilation: the process of adopting values, beliefs, dogmas, language ideologies and symbol systems of an ethnic group or various groups for the formation of values, beliefs, dogmas, language ideology and symbolic systems of a new ethnic groups. Structural assimilation: the process of penetrating the culture of ethnic groups into other ethnic cultures through primary groups such as family, close friends. In the marriage assimilation, or often called physical assimilation that occurs because of inter-ethnic or inter-racial marriages, produces a new ethnicities or races, which have different cultures, there is an association among individuals or groups intensively and in a relatively long time. People from different cultural backgrounds, interacting directly intensively for a long time which changed their form into elements of mixed culture. Usually, the groups involved in an assimilation process are a majority group and some minority groups that change the specific characteristics of their cultural elements and adapt them to the culture of the majority, so that gradually they lose their cultural personality and produce the majority culture. The conclusion of this field research is that; the interaction between ethnic Tionghoa and Toba Batak in Doloksanggul expressing a pattern of adaptation in an associative social process. The interaction is carried out in the form of accommodation and cooperation and acculturation. The pattern of interaction carried out by Tionghoa ethnic is as their effort to be a part of participating as Doloksanggul community members. Although the adjustment referred to is still more economic in nature, anthropologically it can be seen as a part of the social process towards social harmony and social integration.

Namun, terpidana yang dibebaskan mengulangi kejahatannya lagi dan menimbulkan kecemasan publik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara Permenkumham Nomor 3 Tahun 2018 dengan Permenkumham Nomor 20 Tahun 2020 dan kesesuaian prinsip pembinaan dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 12 Tahun 1995 tentang pemasyarakatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan perundang-undangan, pendekatan konseptual. The method used in this research was a type of normative legal research using a statutory approach, a conceptual approach. The results of this study indicated that the differences in the provision of assimilation rights and integration of prisoners in Permenkumham No.3 of 2018 were given in accordance with the complete substantive and administrative requirements. However, in Permenkuham No.10 of 2020 there are several differences in terms of granting assimilation and integration rights, both substantive and administrative requirements, so that Permenkumham No.10 of 2020 made it easier for inmates to get the right of assimilation and integration. and the implementation of the provisions for assimilation and integration in Permenkumham No.10 of 2020 is not in accordance with the principles of guidance in the correctional law. This mismatch was due to the presence of prisoners who had returned to committing criminal acts, this indicated a failure to provide guidance to prisoners. The presence of Thai people in Pattani through annexation or conquest, from the Kingdom of Siam to Thailand have changed the socio-cultural Muslim community. Thai Buddhist nation perform a lot of cultural assimilation of Malay Muslim Pattani. The assimilation pursued through politics, education, culture, and law. Political stripes do with the ideology developed, namely "nation, king, religion" that subjecting all citizens into one nationalism. Education path is done through standardized education policy, namely the obligation to teach the language and history of Thai and Buddhist teachings. Cultural path had taken through migration north to south and the formation of "peaceful village". The last path is the law through legal intervention in the form of restrictions on the entry into force of Islamic law and the jurisdiction of Dato 'Yuthithams, the elimination of Islamic justice as consolidated by the civilian justice and law enforcement Thai civilians in Pattani. This assimilation project met with resistance from Pattani Muslim community, as it is considered as an attempt to deculturate Malay Muslim culture that identifies them. The aim of this resistance is to get autonomy in Pattani province to the desire to become an independent state.Abstrak Kehadiran bangsa Thai di Pattani melalui aneksasi atau penaklukan, mulai dari Kerajaan Siam hingga berganti menjadi Thailand, mengubah sosio-kultur masyarakat Muslim. Bangsa Thai yang beragama Budha banyak melakukan assimilasi terhadap kebudayaan Muslim Melayu Pattani. Assimilasi tersebut ditempuh melalui jalur politik, pendidikan, budaya, dan hukum. Jalur politik dilakukan dengan mengembangkan ideologi “nation, king, religion†yang menundukkan semua warga negara ke dalam satu nasionalisme. Jalur pendidikan dilakukan melalui kebijakan standarisasi pendidikan, yaitu kewajiban mengajarkan bahasa dan sejarah Thai serta ajaran Budha. Jalur budaya ditempuh melalui program migrasi penduduk utara ke selatan dan pembentukan “peaceful villageâ€. Jalur terakhir adalah jalur hukum yang dilakukan melalui intervensi hukum berupa pembatasan berlakunya hukum Islam serta kewenangan Dato’ Yuthithams, penghapusan peradilan Islam karena disatukan dengan peradilan sipil dan pemberlakuan hukum sipil Thai di Pattani. Proyek assimilasi ini mendapatkan perlawanan dari masyarakat Muslim Pattani, karena dianggap sebagai upaya dekulturisasi kultur Melayu Muslim yang menjadi identitas mereka. The purpose of this study is to be able to explain how growing media and spacing affect purple eggplant's vegetative growth responses. In this investigation, two treatments with six replications each were employed in a randomized block design (RBD). F1: J1 = 30 x 40 cm and D2 = 50 x 60 cm are the two levels of spacing. F2: There are two levels for using planting media: M1 = soil + sand 2: 1 and M2 = soil + cocopeat 2: 1. Plant height measurements, tests for the chlorophyll a and b leaf area indices, and relative growth rates as well as total and net assimilation rates were the variables employed in this study. The study's findings recommend using planting media with the best level of M2 = soil + cocopeat for plant height criteria. The ideal level for spacing the parameters for the chlorophyll test and the rate of net assimilation is J2 50 x 60 cm. According to the research, the planting medium and spacing, particularly on the variables of plant height, chlorophyll test, and net assimilation rate, have a substantial impact on the vegetative growth of purple eggplant.

In the context of preventing and controlling the spread of Covid-19 in Correctional Institutions, the Minister of Law and Human Rights has stipulated Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number 32 of 2020 concerning Terms and Procedures for Granting Assimilation, Conditional Release, Leave Before Release, and Conditional Leave for Prisoners and Children. This study aims to determine and analyze the implementation process and the effectiveness of the implementation of home assimilation for foster children at the Class II Special Child Development Institute Bandung. The results of the research and discussion, it can be said that the assimilation of homes for foster children at the Bandung Class II Special Guidance Institute during the Covid 19 pandemic had a positive impact on the decline in inmates and foster children in Special Class II Bandung. Child Development Institutions through Assimilation and Integration to prevent COVID-19 for and foster children, reduce population density in Indonesia, save a lot of state money, and increase the productivity of foster children.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis proses pelaksanaan dan efektivitas pelaksanaan asimilasi rumah bagi anak asuh di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Kelas II Bandung. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan asimilasi rumah bagi anak asuh di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Kelas II Bandung selama Pandemi Covid 19 berdampak positif terhadap penurunan warga binaan dan anak asuh di Kelas Khusus II Bandung. Lembaga Pembinaan Anak melalui Asimilasi dan Integrasi pencegahan COVID-19 bagi narapidana dan anak asuh, berhasil mengurangi kepadatan penduduk di Indonesia, menghemat banyak uang negara, dan meningkatkan produktivitas anak asuh.

As a reality there is no guarantee that the assimilation will be finish with the conversion of Chinese to the Islam. Hopefully, the understanding about plurality (kebhinekaan) will be a strong fundament in the cultural integration. This study found that the Chinese choose Islam, especially in post-New Order, caused by two main motivations coming from itself and environment. The relationship of post-conversion of Chinese muslim, made at a crossroad. On the one hand, the Chinese muslim still considered strange to some native communities. The still come under suspicion only purely politically and economically, while on the other hand their proximity to the government and the muslim community make them “shunned”by the Chinese people.

This study is a linguistics research about sound changing that occurs on the different sounds to be the same sounds at the position between two vowels in the middle of a word in an isolect that is used by Bonai ethnic group in Ulakpatian Village, Rokan Hulu Regency. The data of the research is the utterances data of Bonai ethnic group community that referred to in selection of language data. The data were collected by applying interview method by using conversation and recording technique. The data were described phonetically by using IPA symbol, the data were compared with PM and made conclusion The result of the research shows that Bonai Ulakpatian isolect has four assimilation forms at the position between two vowels in the middle of a word, namely 1) PM *nd/v-v> BU [n]/v-v, 2) PM *ŋg/v-v> BU [ŋ]/v-v, 3) PM *mb/v-v> BU [m]/v-v that are total progressive assimilation and phonetics assimilation, and 4) PM *nj/v-v> BU [ñ]/v-v that are reciprocal and phonemic assimilation. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan asimilasi pada isolek Bonai Ulakpatian yang terdapat di Provinsi Riau. Kajian ini merupakan kajian linguistik tentang perubahan bunyi yang terjadi pada bunyi-bunyi berbeda menjadi sama, yang berada pada posisi antara dua vokal di tengah kata dalam sebuah isolek yang digunakan oleh suku Bonai di Desa Ulakpatian, Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Data berupa tuturan masyarakat suku Bonai dikumpulkan dengan penerapan metode cakap dan metode simak dengan menggunakan teknik pancing dan teknik rekam. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pentranskripsian fonetis dengan simbol IPA, pembandingan data dengan leksikon PM, dan penarikan simpulan. The academic aspect plays a vital role as a transformative element in bringing change into the life of each individual. One of the main goals for students to continue their studies abroad is to obtain a high-quality education. The freshman experience is considered an important phase involving self-assimilation, emotional change, cultural shock, and social values that can influence the academic achievement of international students. The discussion of this paper detailing the factors that contribute to a more meaningful freshman year experience is differentiated by comparing the process of self-assimilation and academic achievement of international students. The qualitative approach using the purposive sampling technique has involved in-depth interviews of 40 international students from four Malaysian Public Universities. The findings of the study generate a self-reflective understanding of the nature of international students which is translated through selective narratives of emotional outpouring, describing excitement, desire, and hope. The new findings for this study relate to the elements of transformation and self-assimilation of students who have an interrelationship with (i) The reputation of Malaysian Public Universities as a prestigious study destination, (ii) The quality of the higher education system which is more comprehensive and versatile, (iii) Flexibility and the dynamics of the academic programmes offered, (iv) Contemporary and market-driven study programmes, and (v) The added value of English proficiency as a method of learning and teaching. The sharing of empirical data of this study is expected to be useful information to the human resource management of the university which has a high dependence on the enrolment of international students. This effort is in line with the National Strategic Plan for Higher Education (PSPTN) which was formulated with the vision of transforming Malaysia into a hub of excellence in higher education on the international stage.

The purpose of this study was to determine the communication patterns of female assisted residents in Tangerang Class IIA Lapas after participating in routine studies through an assimilation program with an Islamic approach by the Da'wah Muslimat Volunteer Team of the Dewan Da'wah Islamiyah Indonesia. This qualitative research approach uses a case study method that seeks to describe in detail and comprehensively the patterns of communication between spiritual guides and assisted members of the assimilation program in their interactions while following Islamic enlightenment regularly twice a week. The informants were 7 of the 12 participants of the assimilation program at the Class IIA Lapas Tangerang, Banten. Informants are assisted residents who have undergone half the time of determining the research informants using purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using observation, in-depth interviews with research informants and conducting documentation studies. The results of data collection were analyzed using qualitative data analysis model analysis from Miles and Huberman so that a conclusion was generated.

<p><em>The purpose of the study was to examine the regulation of the application of assimilation during the Covid-19 period in prisons in order to reduce the level of spread of Covid-19 in prisons. The Indonesian government through the Ministry of Law and Human Rights adopted a policy of releasing convicts to break the chain of Covid-19. This research is important to do to find out the policy for the release of prisoners in terms of breaking the Covid-19 chain which in this case is the authority of the Indonesian Government through the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. This study uses empirical legal research methods that contain data in the field directly at the Class II B Correctional Institution Tanjungbalai Asahan. This research has a focus of study, namely providing assimilation during the Covid-19 period. Government policies through the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in implementing assimilation in Correctional Institutions during Covid-19 and the effect of implementing assimilation on crime rates. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the release is carried out through an assimilation and integration process in the form of parole, leave before release, and prisoners whose 2/3 of their sentences fall from April 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. The release of adult and child prisoners to break the chain the spread of Covid-19 The Tanjungbalai Asahan District Prosecutor's Office has provided assimilation of 36 (thirty-six) inmates from the Class II B Penitentiary of Tanjungbalai Asahan. At present the portrait of land use in several cities is dominated by settlements or dwellings. Settlements in tropical climates have the potential to support the environment for thriving plants. Therefore, research that is oriented to optimizing the tropical climate in the settlement sector is very important because in the science of architecture designing buildings is very necessary to consider the harmony of buildings, climate and humans. The culture of Indonesian society from generation to generation is a tradition that needs to get space side by side with the fulfillment of residential needs. Gardening culture is an effort to meet food needs, while living culture is an effort to meet the needs of the board, so that both are primary human needs. The research objective is to study the prospect of the assimilation of the culture of gardening and living through quantitative and qualitative paradigms. The focus of the study determined the relationship between the two variables with statistical analysis through the correlation of people's appreciation of gardening activities with income level, in the statistical test analysis using the chi square method. The results of the quantitative analysis continued with efforts to find reasons for causal relationships through in-depth interviews. The results of the study concluded that there was a correlation between the appreciation of the community and the level of income in supporting the assimilation of the culture of gardening and living in tropical homes. The problem of limited land is the cause of the lack of assimilation of the culture of gardening and living in low-income communities.

This research was conducted in September until November 2018 in the Tapung Kiri River Basin in Kampar Regency. Data analyze the water quality conditions in terms of physical, chemical, microbiological and heavy metal parameters, estimating incoming pollutant loads, measuring waters assimilation capacity, and determining pollution index values and the socio-economic impact of the community around the waters of the Tapung Kiri River. Sampling and analysis of samples were carried out at 5 stations with 3 replications carried out both in the field and the laboratory. The results showed that water quality parameters namely TSS, BOD, COD, NH3, PO4, Fe and Total Coliform had exceeded the quality standard based on Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001. The calculation of the pollutant load of the Tapung Kiri River waters indicates that the parameters TSS, BOD, COD, NH3, PO4, Oil and Fe have exceeded their assimilation capacity. The Tapung Kiri River is mild to moderate polluted based on Minister of Environment Decree No. 115 of 2003.

This study is a linguistics research about sound changing that occurs on the different sounds to be the same sounds at the position between two vowels in the middle of a word in an isolect that is used by Bonai ethnic group in Ulakpatian Village, Rokan Hulu Regency. The data of the research is the utterances data of Bonai ethnic group community that referred to in selection of language data. The data were collected by applying interview method by using conversation and recording technique. The data were described phonetically by using IPA symbol, the data were compared with PM and made conclusion The result of the research shows that Bonai Ulakpatian isolect has four assimilation forms at the position between two vowels in the middle of a word, namely 1) PM *nd/v-v> BU [n]/v-v, 2) PM *ŋg/v-v> BU [ŋ]/v-v, 3) PM *mb/v-v> BU [m]/v-v that are total progressive assimilation and phonetics assimilation, and 4) PM *nj/v-v> BU [ñ]/v-v that are reciprocal and phonemic assimilation.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan asimilasi pada isolek Bonai Ulakpatian yang terdapat di Provinsi Riau. Kajian ini merupakan kajian linguistik tentang perubahan bunyi yang terjadi pada bunyi-bunyi berbeda menjadi sama, yang berada pada posisi antara dua vokal di tengah kata dalam sebuah isolek yang digunakan oleh suku Bonai di Desa Ulakpatian, Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Data berupa tuturan masyarakat suku Bonai dikumpulkan dengan penerapan metode cakap dan metode simak dengan menggunakan teknik pancing dan teknik rekam. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pentranskripsian fonetis dengan simbol IPA, pembandingan data dengan leksikon PM, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa isolek Bonai Ulakpatian memiliki empat bentuk asimilasi pada posisi antara dua vokal di tengah kata, yaitu 1) PM*nd/v-v> BU [n]/v-v, 2) PM*ŋg/v-v> BU [ŋ]/v-v, 3) PM*mb/v-v> BU [m]/v-v yang merupakan asimilasi progresif total dan asimilasi fonetis, dan 4) PM*nj/v-v> BU [ñ]/v-v yang merupakan asimilasi resiprokal dan fonemis.

They also must be able to perform a good speaking performance as they must be linguistic models for their students in the class. This study investiagted several phonological aspects of connected speech such as linking, elision, and assimilation by EFL English teachers. The result revealed that assimilation was the most difficult phonological aspects of connected speech rather than linking or elision. The major difference between English and native language of the teachers could be the main reason of their contrains related to connected speech aspects.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Guru bahasa Inggris harus memiliki pengetahuan yang memadai tentang pengucapan seperti fonetik dan fonologi. Mereka juga harus mampu berbicara dengan baik karena mereka harus menjadi panutan bagi siswa mereka di kelas. Penelitian ini menyelidiki beberapa aspek fonologis dari <em>connected speech</em>, seperti <em>linking, elision</em>, dan <em>assimilation </em>oleh guru bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa asimilasi merupakan aspek fonologis yang paling sulit daripada linking atau elision. Perbedaan utama antara bahasa Inggris dan bahasa pertama guru bisa menjadi alasan utama kendala yang dialami mereka terkait dengan aspek tersebut.

This study aims to analyze the duration of assimilation on tanwin vowel. The discussion studied in this study is the calculation of the duration of tanwin vowel assimilation. This study uses acoustic phonetic theory by applying qualitative descriptive methods through observation and data editing techniques. To analyze the data, there are four analytical techniques that are applied, namely the note-taking technique, the sorting technique, the digitization, and the sound segmentation. Meanwhile, for measuring the duration of the assimilation of sounds, this study used the praat program version 4.0.27. People in Jambi city assume that Pasar Hong Kong, a traditional market located in Jelutung sub-district, is “a Chinese market”, even some areas in the city of Jambi such as Jelutung, Koni, and Talang Banjar are dominated by the ethnic of Chinese. This research aims to explore how social inequality that occurs due to the advantages and disadvantages of an ethnic group so that it can affect individual attitudes that damage social capital. This research uses a case study approach with in-depth interviews and literature study as data collection techniques. The subjects of this study were ethnic Malay and Chinese female merchants in Pasar Hong Kong, Jambi city, Indonesia. This research found that social inequalities that occur among the female merchants of ethnic Malay and Chinese in Pasar Hongkong occur naturally, where both merchants and buyers have a high tolerance when interacting. Although sometimes there are differences in attitude when the merchants serve different ethnic buyers. The involvement of traditional leaders in managing social inequalities is very important due to the lack of assimilation among ethnic Malay and Chinese.

various factors as the reasons. Thailand is one of the country in
Southeast Asian countries with its geographical location between
Australian Continent and China’s mainland. Muslims in Thailand
are minority that develop rapidly and the biggest minority after
China. They live in the southern part of Thailand as the base of
Malay-Muslim communities, but it is a region that has religious
conflict. Thai government obliges assimilation of Thai culture
(Buddhism) towards Muslim minority. The struggle of Muslim
Pattani society takes place for the their freedom in worship and
conserves Pattani Malay c ulture.

<p>As a strategy of the politic of culture, religious assimilation constructed in New Order has become a concept which is considered ineffective and failed. The policy of the religious assimilation designed for reducing conflicts between "Pribumi vs Tionghoa", in fact, has deepened the gaps between the two groups. Religious conversion by the Chinese in terms of assimilation of New Order turns to be a political strategy to describe and to have the pribumi identity. It is a political strategy to hide the aspects of Chinese and Non-muslim in their identity in order to be accepted as "Pribumi." Everyone can claim their own identity and say "who I am," who you are", and who we are". By doing so, it is part of the way for people to understand each identity that emphasize on the common identity. In the future, religious conversion will loose its the relevance, especially in the context of contestation of global culture. The contestation of culture in area of multiculturalism reunites the entity of diversity into single identity. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi gaya belajar peserta didik dan mengetahui korelasi antara kemampuan spasial dan gaya belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran kimia.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah gaya belajar yang meliputi diverger, assimilator, converger, dan accomodator. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 52 peserta didik XI MIPA MAN II Yogyakarta tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dan 270 peserta didik dari 6 sekolah yang ada di Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket KLSI (Kolb Learning Style Inventory). Adapun teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik dari MAN II Yogyakarta memiliki kecenderungan pada gaya belajar assimilator sebanyak 19 peserta didik atau 36,5%, gaya belajar diverger sebanyak 17 peserta didik atau 32,6%, gaya belajar converger sebanyak 11 peserta didik atau 21,2%, dan gaya belajar accomodator sebanyak 5 peserta didik atau 9,6%. Peserta didik dari 6 sekolah di Yogyakarta memiliki kecenderungan pada gaya belajar assimilator sebanyak 96 peserta didik atau 35,5%, gaya belajar diverger sebanyak 93 peserta didik atau 34,4%, gaya belajar converger sebanyak 53 peserta didik atau 19,6% dan gaya belajar accomodator sebanyak 28 peserta didik atau 10,3%. Terdapat korelasi antara kemampuan spasial dan gaya belajar yang ditunjukkan oleh 19 peserta didik XI MIPA MAN II Yogyakarta memiliki nilai kemampuan spasial dan nilai ulangan harian hidrokarbon diatas nilai KKM materi hidrokarbon sesuai dengan gaya belajar yang dimiliki peserta didik yaitu gaya belajar tipe assimilator.Kata Kunci: gaya belajar model Kolb, diverger, converger, assimilator, accomodator

Growth, Net Assimilation and Yield Analysis of Eggplant(Solanum melongena L.): Dosage of Goat Manure and NPK FertilizerThe research was aimed to obtain the dose of goat manure, NPK fertilizer and the interaction in increasing the growth and yield of eggplant. The research was usedthe randomized block design factorial with the first factor (goat manure) such as K0= 0 ton.ha-1, K1= 10 ton.ha-1, K2= 20 ton.ha-1 and the second factor (NPK Mutiara 16-16-16) such as P0= 0 ton.ha-1, P1= 100 ton.ha-1, P2= 200 ton.ha-1, P3= 300 ton.ha-1 with three replications. This research was conducted at Jl. Eka Rasmi, Medan Johor Subdistrict, Medan, North Sumatra from August until October 2019. The parameters such as plant height, leaf area, fresh weight of root and shoot, dry weight of root and shoot, total dry weight, fruitweight.plant-1, fruit weight.plot-1, crop growth rate (CGR), relative growth rate (RGR), and net assimilation rate (NAR) wereanalyzed using the ANOVA and the means were followed by DMRT test at the level of 5% used the IBM SPSS Statistics v.20. The results showed an increase in leaf area, fresh weight of shoot, dry weight of root, dry weight of shoot, total dry weight, and fruit weight.plant-1, of eggplant plant with the increasing dose of goat manure up to 20 ton.ha-1of 23.27%; 35.85%; 17.64%; 16.55%; 16.66%; and 17.18%, respectively compared to untreated except plant height. Growth in leaf area, fresh weight of shoot, dry weight of root, dry weight of shoot, total dry weight, fruit weight.plant-1 and fruit weight.plot-1of eggplant plant were increased with increasing NPK fertilizer dosage up to 300 kg.ha-1of 16.88%; 25.96%; 24.08%; 38.37%; 34.46%; 21.85%; and 19.22%, respectively compared to untreated. The interaction of goat manure with NPK does not significantly affect on the growth and yield of eggplant plant. The CGR, RGR, and NARvalue in the giving of goat manure from 10 until 30 days after planting was higher compared to the application of Mutiara NPK fertilizer.

Abstract
The creative thinking ability is an individual’s capacity in combining logistical and divergent thinking in finding solutions to a problem to produce innovative new products. This study aims to analyze the level of creative thinking ability (LCT) of students with assimilating and converging learning styles in solving numeracy problems. The subjects of this qualitative research consisted of two grade VIII junior high school students who were selected using a purposive sampling technique, namely subjects who had assimilating and convergent learning styles. The research instrument consisted of a learning style questionnaire, a numeracy creative thinking ability test, and task-based interviews. The indicators used to assess creative products include fluency, flexibility, and novelty. Data analysis uses Pierce's triadic analysis or Peirce's semiotics which is the relationship between sign/representamen (which represents something else), object (which describes it), and interpretant (possible meaning or meaning made from it). The results showed that subjects with assimilating learning styles had creative thinking ability with LCT 3 (creative) because they met the indicators of fluency, flexibility and novelty. Meanwhile, students with convergent learning styles have the ability to think creatively with TKBK 2 (creative enough) because they meet the indicators of fluency and flexibility. Even though they did not meet the indicators of the results’s novelty, the students had reached the novelty of ideas. Therefore, teachers are expected to be stimulating students with members of questions related to the truth of the answers of students realizing the calculation they do so students can be more careful when solving the problem.

The presence of Islam among humans has been going on for more than fourteen centuries. During that time Islam has been contributing to the dynamics of human progress. But Islam is also often contrasted with culture. Islam is considered to have originated from Arab so that Islam is not opened up by other culture. This paper will try to provide a dialectical analysis of answers between Islam and culture through theological, historical and philosophical approaches. That ontologically and epistemologically, Islam is a doctrine that originates from revelation, while culture is the embodiment of work, creativity and taste that originates from human reason. Islam as a religion is presented to humans so that they experience assimilation contact with Arabic culture at first and then with other cultures. But Islam is not synonymous with Arabic culture. <p class="AbstractEnglish"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Numerical weather predictions are currently being developed to address the need for high resolution rainfall forecasting. However, numerical weather forecasts in Indonesia are still problematic in terms of the accuracy of numerical models. Several previous studies have shown that modeling accuracy is strongly influenced by errors in the initial condition data. This study examines efforts from the research and development of the Weather Forecast and Forecast (WRF) model of preliminary data using a satellite beam assimilation procedure for forecasting rainfall in the Ambon region for two different case studies in 2018. Six experimental models are carried out by assimilation of sensors AMSU-A and MHS satellites use the WRFDA 3DVar system. This research was conducted by increasing the assimilation analysis on the initial data model, analyzing the model skills in the dichotomy of rainfall predictions, rainfall criteria, spatial rainfall, and time series of rainfall accumulation compared to BMKG rainfall observation data. The results showed that the DA AMSU-A and MHS experiments correctly modified the initial condition data of the model. Meanwhile, the results of dichotomous verification revealed that the DA observation experiment had the highest skill score forecast compared to other assimilation. but more experiments are needed in the northern Sumatra area to provide more significant results.</p><p class="KeywordsEngish"><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Prediksi cuaca numerik saat ini terus dikembangkan untuk mengatasi kebutuhan akan ramalan curah hujan resolusi tinggi. Namun, ramalan cuaca numerik di Indonesia masih bermasalah dalam hal akurasi model numerik. Beberapa penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa akurasi pemodelan sangat dipengaruhi oleh kesalahan dalam data kondisi awal. Penelitian ini mengkaji upaya-upaya dari penelitian dan pengembangan model Prakiraan Cuaca dan Prakiraan (WRF) data awal menggunakan prosedur asimilasi pancaran satelit untuk prakiraan curah hujan di wilayah Ambon untuk dua studi kasus pada musim yang berbeda selama 2018. Enam model eksperimental dijalankan dengan asimilasi sensor satelit AMSU-A dan MHS menggunakan WRFDA sistem 3DVar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan analisis peningkatan asimilasi pada model data awal, analisis keterampilan model pada dikotomi prediksi curah hujan, kriteria curah hujan, curah hujan spasial, dan time series akumulasi hujan dibandingkan dengan data pengamatan curah hujan BMKG. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa eksperimen DA AMSU-A dan MHS memodifikasi data kondisi awal model dengan benar. Sementara itu, hasil verifikasi dikotomis mengungkapkan bahwa eksperimen DA observasi memiliki skor ketrampilan prakiraan tertinggi dibandingkan dengan asimilasi lainnya. namun diperlukan lagi percobaan di daerah Sumatra utara untuk memberikan hasil yang lebih signifikan.</p>

This case study seeks to reveal the acculturation experience some residents Chinese descent in Semarang. The data collection is done by conducting in-depth interviews with three informants selected, complemented by interviews with a priest in order to gain insights into conflict resolution within the framework of multiculturalism. Key to conflict resolution is the synergic cooperation between the government, security, local religious and tribal leaders. Acculturation as a method of receiving and cultural assimilation became one of alternative conflict prevention. The informant chose multiculturalism as a strategy of acculturation. Communication patterns are tolerant and philosophical values of Pancasila should be developed and cultivated to realize multiculturalism.

Mexican sunflower (Tithonia diversifolia) is a invansive weed but it can be used as continuous and on-farm source of nutrient for organic farming system. The objective of this study was to investigate growth and biomass production of T. diversifolia with different rates of chicken manure and plant spacings. The experiment was conducted at Cikarawang, Bogor, on Inceptisol soil type, from October 2011 until January 2012. The experiment was arranged in a randomized block design with 2 factors and 3 replications. The rates of chicken manure were 0, 2.5, 5 and 10 ton ha-1, while the plant spacings were 50 cm x 50 cm and 75 cm x 75 cm. The interaction effect between manure rates and plant spacing was significant on nett assimilation rate at 4-8 weeks after planting, but it was not significant on biomass production. The highest dry weight of biomass (1,129.1 kg ha-1) was obtained from the addition of 10 ton chicken manure ha-1 with the potential contribution as much as 55.47 kg N, 4.54 kg P, 88.54 kg K per hectare. The highest dry weight of biomass produced with planting distance 50 cm x 50 cm (897 kg ha-1). Referring to the results, it can be recommended that the cultivation of T. diversifolia at the first planting needs 10 ton chicken manure ha-1 and the planting distance of 50 cm x 50 cm.<br />Keywords: biomass production, Mexican sun flower, nett assimilation ratio, nutrient contributio, weed

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 15 siswa kelas X Akuntansi SMK NU 05 Babat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket gaya belajar, tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan pedoman wawancara. Subjek penelitian ini diidentifikasi tipe gaya belajarnya dengan menggunakan angket gaya belajar Kolb. Data mengenai kemampuan pemecahan masalah dianalisis dari hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah lalu dideskripsikan dengan data hasil wawancara. 8 siswa yang terdiri dari 2 siswa pada masing-masing tipe gaya belajar dipilih untuk dilakukan wawancara kemampuan pemecahan masalahnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 15 siswa kelas X SMK NU 05 Babat menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat 2 siswa memiliki gaya belajar converger, 6 siswa memiliki gaya belajar diverger, 3 siswa memiliki gaya belajar accommodator, dan 4 siswa memiliki gaya belajar assimilator; 2) siswa diverger paling banyak jumlahnya di kelas X Akuntansi SMK NU 05 Babat, daripada siswa converger, accommodator, assimilator dan converger; 3) siswa assimilator mampu memahami teori; 4) siswa accommodator bagus dalam melaksanakan rencana; 5) siswa diverger kemampuan berkreativitas dan berimajinasi; 6) siswa converger bagus ketika ada solusi tunggal yang benar dari sebuah masalah dan mereka dapat berpusat pada masalah atau situasi tertentu.

Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian empiris. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis dan sumber bahan hukum yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder meliputi bahan hukum primer, bahan hukum sekunder, dan bahan hukum tersier. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode penelitian studi dokumen atau kepustakaan, dan metode penelitian lapangan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis model interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara pembinaan dengan pemberian asimilasi berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia Nomor 32 Tahun 2020 pada masa pandemi Covid-19 cenderung positif, didukung dengan adanya penjelasan terkait hak bagi narapidana. The method used is empirical research. This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The types and sources of legal materials used are primary data and secondary data covering primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials. Data collection techniques using research methods document or literature study, and field research methods. Data analysis technique using interactive model analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that the relationship between coaching and providing assimilation based on the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number 32 of 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic tended to be positive, supported by an explanation related to the rights of prisoners. Size, financial performance, leverage and growth as control variables in this case. The results of the study state that the Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility performance affects the readability of Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility.

Abstract. From the research that has been conducted by the cadets of Akademi Ilmu Pemasyarakatan (AKIP) for ten years from 2007 to 2017, the authors found that the problems in implementing assimilation in prisons tend not to change. Whereas the regulations on assimilation have been amended twice in the last ten years. The theory that I use in this research is organizational theory. Through the theory, the author wants to link the reintegration of prisoners as the goal of the correctional system with policies governing the fulfillment of prisoners' assimilation rights. From the many problems faced by prisons in fulfilling the assimilation rights of prisoners, it can be concluded that these problems basically arise from three aspects: 1) organization, 2) human resources, and 3) society. Prisons will continue to face these problems as in the past ten years if the Government does not immediately take the right policy. Abstrak. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh taruna Akademi Ilmu Pemasyarakatan (AKIP) selama sepuluh tahun sejak 2007 hingga 2017, penulis menemukan bahwa permasalahan dalam pelaksanaan asimilasi di lapas cenderung tidak berubah. Padahal peraturan tentang pemberian asimilasi itu sudah diubah sebanyak dua kali dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir. Teori yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah teori organisasi. Melalui teori ini, penulis ingin mengaitkan reintegrasi narapidana sebagai tujuan sistem pemasyarakatan dengan kebijakan yang mengatur tentang pelaksanaan pemenuhan hak asimilasi narapidana. Dari sekian banyak permasalahan yang dihadapi lapas dalam melaksanakan pemenuhan hak asimilasi narapidana, dapat disimpulkan bahwa masalah-masalah tersebut pada dasarnya timbul dari tiga aspek yaitu 1) organisasi, 2) sumber daya manusia, dan 3) masyarakat. Adapun masalah-masalah ini akan terus dihadapi lapas seperti sepuluh tahun belakangan jika Pemerintah tidak segera mengambil kebijakan yang tepat.
