Abstract:
In academic and research libraries, electronic resources are present. Obviously, priority is given to licensed resources, even in the humanities where the development of digital technology is impacting research practices. By studying the e-resources of a sample of libraries, we intend to analyze how open access resources for the humanities are integrated into indexing tools and promoting activities. If librarians seem reluctant to follow through the issue of Open Access in the humanities, the exhortations to advance the cause of openness are growing internationally. In such a difficult economic context, the challenge consists in articulating the identification and dissemination of free web materials with the needs of research communities. Defining the concept of Open Access in the humanities, putting it into perspective and into practice may require expanded efforts on three core areas: that of mediation, training and content creation.

Abstract:
Every occupation carries with it some degree of health risk. Diseases and disease risks vary according to the occupation and the working environment. Examining the different factors of a disease can reveal how disease manifests itself differently in persons of different occupations and provides a way of identifying occupational diseases. Unhealthy working conditions affect the health of the worker and increases risk factors connected with the worker?s health. Reducing or eliminating occupational diseases or the possible health risks they present for the working population, discovering the causes of these diseases will increase worker job satisfaction, enhance quality of life and ensure the creation of a healthy and safe working environment.Information-documentation management has found a place for itself in society as a profession as well as a professional group, yet the protection of this group from occupational diseases and disease risks is a matter that is of a different dimension compared to other professional groups. This research has examined working environments at information and documentation centers, using questionnaires to study the present status of occupational health at these centers while aiming to establish what adverse conditions these environments presented and what health complaints and risk factors were involved. The ?Job Satisfaction Evaluation Form? and the Quality of Life Scale were administered to 265 information-documentation workers to determine the degree of job satisfaction and quality of life that these professionals experienced in their working environments. A major determining factor in the study was the existence of adverse conditions in the working environment. The data collected in the Health Assessment Form led to the observation that workers suffered to a great extent from allergic symptoms related to dust and other physical factors within the environment.

The CubeSats concept began in 1999 as a collaboration between California Polytechnic State University and Stanford University, and today it is an accessible and widely used by educational institutions and the private sector for the development of small satellites. As these small satellites are unmanned, the Telemetry Tracking and Remote Control (TT&C) system is one of the most critical to the mission, as their failure results in its premature end. This work presents a study of the main concepts related to the TT&C system, especially with regard to minimum power and transmission speed to ensure correct and complete transmission of payload data. Posteriorly, using the concepts presented, a set of needs is elaborated for its good functioning and good integration with the other systems of a CubeSat.

Abstract:
This study addresses approaches and methods used in the delivery of electronic resources in two academic libraries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Central Library of the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, and the Central Library of the King Saud University (now known as Prince Salman Central Library). The study also attempts to discover the impact generated by the current methods in the delivery of electronic resources through examined libraries' websites. The study hypothesizes that the current methods in the delivery of electronic resources through the websites of the studied libraries can be anticipated to have a negative effect on the rate of the effective use of electronic resources. The research used the survey methodology to describe the phenomena and to obtain information. The sample for this research was purposive sampling of academic staff at the Library and Information Science departments in both universities. The researcher distributed 50 questionnaires, and received 42 usable responses. In addition, the study presents the techniques and methods used in the libraries studied. The study findings were that the examined libraries use primitive methods in the delivery of electronic resources through their websites, and they depend for the delivery of electronic resources on the library system providers or on the aggregators or vendors of the electronic resources. In addition, there is a lack of experience among the libraries' staff in dealing with electronic resources. In terms of the impact of the delivering electronic resource services, the research found that more than a quarter of respondents do not use the electronic resources provided by the studied libraries. In addition, the majority of respondents (78.6%) use electronic resources which are provided by other institutions or universities. However, the knowledge of the respondents about the types of electronic resources provided by the libraries was also investigated. The majority of respondents did not know that their libraries provide electronic journals, with only 19% of respondents stating that the library provides electronic journal. The study affirmed that there was dissatisfaction among the respondents about the methods adopted in delivering electronic resources through the internet by the examined libraries.

Abstract:
The importance of service quality has been growing day by day. The studies that have been under taken in this field are also increasing periodically. Increasing importance of service quality has made imperative to find on effective way to measure service quality it. The’ service sector, determining this necessity in the light of "You can not make it better unless you can measure ", it tries to measure service quality in a more effective way. In fact, there has been substantial body of research on this field. Among these studies, the most popular one is Parasuraman, Zeithaml and SERVQUAL model developed by Berry. Reduced-to-one-type-service-features of SERVQUAL, limits its applicability in measuring service quality of libraries. Nitecki and Hernon, making their researches on librarianship sector, used a SERVQUAL-based instrument they formed, to measure quality service in libraries. This thesis adapt the model developed by Nitecki and Hernon and applied it in a university library in Turkey. The questionnaire was prepared and administered to a sample of 470 users and only 237 users were eligible for assessment. The reliability of known factors was tested first and after that the quadrant and difference analysis were applied. In that way, the applicable and non-applicable features for library users were determined. The results gained were presented visually in quadrant analysis and numerically in difference analysis. Considerable differences were found between expectations and perceptions of service quality. Detailed quadrant analysis was made for different user groups of the library. This analysis showed that there are differences of expectations and perceptions between user groups. For SERVQUAL criteria, the results of the previous studies that were obtarwed from similar studies conducted in librarian for librarianship sector before, were compared to our findings. The similar and different points of this comparison were determined. Physical conditions were found to be the most important determinant of service quality for the users of Beykent University Library.determined. were The research, established a very important communication channel between library users and library management. The open-end questions on the questionnaire form and the complaints written on these forms created an opportunity to share information about the potential problems and searching for ways to solve them.

Abstract:
Performance measurement is essential to library management. Without information about resources, processes and outputs, it is impossible to make decisions. The libraries of universities of applied sciences in Austria want to measure their performance and compare themselves with each other. The aim of this thesis is therefore to analyse possible performance measurement tools for academic libraries and to give a recommendation about how performance measurement should be carried out at the libraries. After a study of scientific literature and the describing of performance measurement tools, including current international standards, guidelines, projects and the consideration of library statistics and the application of the Balanced scorecard, a discussion of problems and possibilities follows. In order to give a recommendation, a set of performance measurement indicators will be tested in cooperation with 7 of 14 libraries of universities of applied sciences in Austria. The test included the collection and analysis of the data and influenced the recommendation. In conclusion, it is found that the tool "BIX Bibliotheksindex" is not suitable to measure performance in this case. The libraries do not have access to the information needed for the building of performance measurement indicators, because of their structure and environment, the restrictions of library systems and the dependence on other departments. In the future is is therefore necessary to establish professional library conditions in order to have valid and reliable data. At the moment, data collection across the of universities of applied sciences in Austria is not possible and performance measurement should be accomplished through a user satisfaction survey.

This research analyses key aspects of the academic management and current regulations that are needed for the development and implementation of a special certificate entitled University Expert in Information and Documentation, Archives and Data Protection by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). We study a number of threats and opportunities that justify the creation of this certificate. First, this certificate is not included in the official studies of the ULPGC. Secondly, it would meet the needs of new professionals that the labour market demand in these three specialties and, thirdly, it updates the training of university graduates in order to face the technological changes and the evolution of the socio-economic environment. Next, we develop a syllabus, which consists of five common subjects in the first year and six subjects for each specialty in the second year ending with the completion of an internship and a final degree dissertation. In conclusion, it is a special certificate taught online, which includes three different formative specializations in Information and Documentation, in Archives and Electronic Administration and in Data Protection. In addition, we specified the competences and skills that the person who passed this academic education must fulfil. Finally, the procedure and economic management of this proposal is examined. Abstract:
Access to scientific and scholarly information in academic libraries is made available trough journal content. The technological evolution provides libraries with different forms of access and various types of supports to periodicals. Despite the importance of electronic journals, printed journals remain an important way of making available scientific information. The search and retrieval of information in periodicals is the most usual way to have access to the contents of articles in the academic world. The best tools to achieve it are the international indexes and abstracts databases. However, the content of Portuguese journals are seldom referenced in international search tools. We intend to characterize the actual situation and to suggest a feasible solution to provide access to Portuguese-language articles in academic libraries. The purpose of our dissertation is to examine current solutions to improve content accessibility to Portuguese journals and make a proposal to achieve it. In this work we present a survey of models of infrastructure and technologies to bibliographic data share. It describes three technical solutions to share bibliographic data, representing the models referenced above. We present national and international projects developed in this area. Simultaneously, we propose a Portuguese journal analytic cooperative cataloguing solution, based on a local trial.

Abstract:
In the last few years a number of academic search engines have been developed to simplify the search for academic documents. Examples of such search engines are SciTopia, Worldwidescience and Google Scholar amongst others, but this paper only focuses on the tracing service of Google. Google Scholar scans exclusively academic documents but payment is required if someone wants to download the full text of a document. However, Google Scholar permits access to all abstracts of the documents. This thesis aims at identifying possible reasons for the application of academic search engines in academic libraries, how they work and what kind of special features they have. First, a review of current literature is undertaken in order to describe the state of the art. On the one hand, there are only a few books available about this issue. Nevertheless, there are lots of online articles on the internet, which are very interesting to give some basic information. Then, qualitative interviews are conducted with employees of academic libraries in Vienna which aims at assessing the relevance of the use of academic search engines in academic libraries and whether or not it is possible to link these search engines with common library databases. The main outcome of this thesis is that academic search engines like Google Scholar can be helpful for the researchers to find any literature on a specific topic, but they can never replace databases used in academic libraries. The findings suggest that many librarians would recommend Google Scholar in addition to common literature searches.

This research retakes the discussion on scientific and technological information policies (STI) in Brazil, focusing the academic libraries subsystem of federal universities. The 1980s were chosen, as time description, for presenting the confluence of political and institutional factors favorable to the elaboration of the Academic Libraries National Plan (ALNP) into the context of public policies of Science and Technology (S&T). The theoretical-conceptual background presents several definitions of STI policies, its interlacements to other policies and the difficulty to define what policy is due to the complexity of the subject’s nature of this policy: “information”. This research brings a frame which emphasizes the historicity of STI and academic libraries in Brazil, reviewing the political moments which were decisive to continue or not the government plans and programs. It was used the General Theory of Systems, what makes the policy be understood through the systemic point of view, that is, as a group of coordinated parts, forming a complex or unitary whole with common goals. This study’s goal was to analyze the STI micro-policies influence to the macro-policies formulation and the conditions in which it happens. For that, the analysis was accomplished in two stages: the survey of documents of S&T and STI plans and programs; and interviews with professionals who participated in the discussion and elaboration of such documents in the 1980s. It is concluded that the social, political and institutional conditions which provided the current situation of STI and academic libraries are results of human action. And only through the action of competent professionals, who are committed to proportionate necessary changes, it will be possible to change this situation, making possible the favorable conditions to the elaboration of a STI public policy.

Abstract:
This study aims to research, record and describe the existing trends and communicative abilities of Greek academic libraries’ sites and research institutions resulting from the adoption and implementation of technological elements of interactivity. In particular, the primary issue is the extent of their structural interactivity, what is the degree and intensity of application, what is the nature and distribution into distinctive types of interactivity and how this is reflected in comparison with interactivity to respective international websites. The author studied by using the content analysis method in a selected sample of 73 websites of libraries, which includes 61 Greek academic and research organizations and 12 international universities around the world whereas 4 coders analyze and encode technological interactive elements within two months (Dec. 2012-Jan. 2013). For the coding, it was adopted the multidimensional aspect of the concept of structural interactivity in websites and the respective multifaceted tool for measuring interactivity as technological features in websites as proposed by McMillan, et al. (2008). First, the statistical analysis of the research data reveal that websites of Greek libraries show a low level of overall interactivity with predominance type of them the human-to-computer interactivity. Second, it points out the limited use of personalized interactive elements, the total lack of interactive elements that facilitate real-time (synchronous) communication and the few interactive elements which facilitate the customizing and adding content. Last but not least, it was found to exist a statistically significant difference in all types of interactivity between the Greek and international libraries’ websites that are referred in this research but no difference was found among the Greek websites groups. This study contributes to the management of communication between organizations and public by reinforcing the perspective of research, with the expectation of gain a longitudinal character and expand the practice possibilities of websites for benefit of organizations themselves, their customers and their stakeholders in enhancing the value of organizations.

Abstract:
Librarians often champion open access (OA) as a sustainable alternative to the current scholarly communications system, which is widely accepted as being in a state of crisis. However, there has been little insight into how far libraries are making this support tangible by providing access to OA publications in their OPACs and other library pathways. This study conducted a large-scale survey of US library holdings to determine the extent that records of journals from the Directory of Open Access Journals are held by WorldCat-affiliated Academic libraries. It then followed up with a questionnaire inquiring into the attitudes and practices of librarians from 100 libraries that were ranked highest out of the total population in terms of their holdings of DOAJ journals. The main objective of the study was to develop a better understanding of the factors influencing the incorporation of OA materials into a university library’s holdings, where and by what means they typically appear on library websites, and how librarians feel about having these materials in their collections. Our findings suggest that the majority (54%) of WorldCat-affiliated US academic libraries have at least one record for a DOAJ journal in their holdings. It additionally suggests that librarians from institutions holding high numbers of DOAJ records generally have very positive attitudes towards OA, even though most of the respondents from these institutions were largely unaware that their holdings were more heavily weighted towards DOAJ records than at comparable institutions. Regarding library selection of OA titles, a journal’s subject matter was highlighted as a more important consideration than its access model. Additional findings suggest that large publishers of OA journals tend to have a higher representation in library holdings than smaller independent publishers.

Abstract:
As with service-based business enterprises, determining the quality of service provided by libraries is dependent on the discovery of reliable data. In modern libraries, the ability to accurately measure and evaluate quality service to users holds a significant place in determining the value of library service to users and provides a key to appraising performance and productivity. The ability to analyze performance is one of the most important factors in the successful performance of their duties for university libraries. The quality level of the various services provided by university libraries of our country cannot be defined numerically; on the contrary, libraries have usually relied on the traditional means of analysis, making judgements based on generalized observation or common opinion. In university libraries measuring quality levels of user-focused services is a core problem. The hypothesis of this research has been stated as “The quality of the services provided by METU Library can be measured and re-organized according to the dimensions of library service quality which affect service, access to information, library as place and personal control”. In this thesis, the LibQUAL+TM service quality measurement tool has been applied as the scale of user-focused service quality and the quality of service at the METU Library has been measured. Determining the findings and evaluating them against those found in the literature provide the results of this research.

Abstract:
Institutions of Higher Education (IHE) are obliged to reflect the aspirations of countries and societies to develop their capabilities in terms of science and technology, as well as social and human aspects. In this sense, the development of science will be greater to the extent that the relevant state institutions promote educational policies that impact in the medium and long term growth of the productive system and economic and social improvements that ultimately, give way to a more equitable and just society. However, the political and social context that currently live public universities in Latin America in general, and Mexico in particular is not very flattering when you consider that every year these institutions must dispute a budget that is not always able to cover their needs. Nonetheless, even with multiple budgetary and operational constraints, public universities have managed to maintain a certain standard of quality. In this sense, the university library plays a nodal role in the academic and cultural life of the Institutions of Higher Education, being that performed the activities that give meaning to the existence of the educational institutions: vocational training the teaching, research and cultural diffusion. These activities are a whole field of knowledge that poses many challenges for the units of information. It should be noted that all those departments that make up the operational structure of a library, with all its administrative areas, spaces and services, involve that articulating all infrastructure components are necessary to meet the needs of user´s information, this is not a simple task. The changes in the conception of the university library have been accompanied by other changes occurring within organizations, which has affected the traditional order of information units, as it has introduced new models for managing information resources, in which aspects related to the efficient management of resources and efficiency in achieving institutional objectives, namely, the aspects that can be evaluated and the result may be listed (or not) quality. Proof of this are the emerging models of information management, which poses the appearance of new users with new features and dynamics learning and work, requiring increasingly specialized services. This issue raises it's essential to know the needs, behaviors and practices that occur around the information, all with the aim of improving administrative processes and service information centers, facing the group or community to which they served.

This paper aims to establish the relationship between the current administration in university libraries in the city of Cordoba and administrative theories analyzed by Idalberto Chiavenato in his book "Introduction to the general theory of management". The aims of this research are to detect basic assumptions present in the administrative management of university libraries in the city of Cordoba, and to investigate the theoretical knowledge people in the management department apply and the professional training they have. It is a study of two approaches: qualitative and quantitative, since it includes a theoretical study of literature and content analysis of the authors concerning the administration to detect the underlying assumptions to the subject and in parallel develop an exploratory field study, extracting data directly from reality, through a questionnaire. The study found that in the management of information centers there are aspects, tools or elements that respond to different management theories.

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the barriers that inhibited three major academic establishment libraries in the State of Kuwait: Kuwait University, the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET), and the National Scientific and Technical Information Centre (NSTIC) from implementing Electronic Document Delivery to enhance the Inter Library Loan services, although it has been increasingly used in the western countries for more than 10 years. A case study was conducted to examine the availability of relevant technology and personnel with appropriate expertise in these Kuwaiti academic libraries. Data were collected from reviewing the available literature, from interviews, and from ground observation. In addition, 40 questionnaires were distributed to librarians, who were working to provide the Inter Library Loan service at these three Kuwaiti academic establishment libraries to assess staff attitudes and perceptions. According to the study results, there are several of barriers that inhibited these Kuwaiti libraries from adopting new technologies to develop their services. However, the major factors are a need for understanding the importance of the resource sharing concept, familiarity and confidence in using IT, through having intensive courses, and serious initiatives to overcome the shortage of professional staff in these libraries.

Abstract:
The appearance of electronic journals as a new media has transformed academic publishing and the services offered by university libraries. The big publishing houses have tackled the change from paper-based scientific journal publishing to electronic formats by introducing a new marketing model: substituting traditional title-by-title subscriptions to a system of subscribing to licence packages, known as the "Big Deal". In answer to this, the libraries have joined forces to negotiate better terms for the joint acquisition of electronic content. In the case of the University Library Consortium of Catalonia (CBUC), analysis has been carried out of the use of electronic journals to which libraries have subscribed. Based on the usage statistics supplied by the publishers, analysis was conducted on the use of subscription to seven electronic journals packages (American Chemical Society (ACS), American Institute of Physics (AIP), Blackwell, Elsevier, Emerald, Springer and Wiley) amongst the seven universities that made up the CBUC –Universitat de Barcelona (UB), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), Universidad de Girona (UDG), Universitat de Lleida (UDL) and Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV)– in 2005. The results showed that the universities, regardless of their size, had different levels of use of the journals. The results also showed differences between different scientific fields. These differences in use were referenced against each university's collection of back issues and with the institution's research activity. It was also seen that journals that were not previously subscribed to showed very low levels of use. Finally, the analysis showed that the level of use of a scientific journals can serve as an indicator of the research a university carries out and for its own evaluation purposes. Use can be taken into account when distributing the cost of subscribing to electronic journals.

The invention of new technologies has been fulfilled the dreams of human life. After the advent of Information Technology (IT) the situations began changed, the printed information started to be digitized and made available to use through the help of computer devices and networks. The pace of globalization and the growth of new technologies, such as the internet, have been changing the teaching learning methods in schools, colleges, universities and research institutes. Digitization is a labor-intensive process by which physical or manual records are converted into digital form. Data digitization services offer a very good opportunity for India, due to the relatively lower costs and technical skills available. In the Greater Noida institutional area only 20% libraries have been using digital library software, 80% libraries have not till used; they are using only library automation software. All of them 60% have an under processing digital library where just 40% have an existing digital library. Their digital archrivals have been initiated by the library staffs with support of the IT staffs. A few libraries have used cooperation of resource sharing where none of them have used the support of an expert for their initiative. Almost 85% users have already benefited by the digital resources. The study found that digital resources are more useful than the printed resourced in the different stages in research and almost users need their libraries to be fully digitalized.

Abstract:
Despite of the recognition in recent years that information is essential component in the development of Brazilian society, there are processes within the area of Information Science in Brazil, specifically of Librarianship that have not yet formed a solid body of theory about the importance of control and records management of the records in university libraries. The point of view of anticipating the need informational in order to facilitate the process of transferring information subsidize the training of knowledge. The collection development, an activity that gives powers to the librarian to turn a collection relevant to the users in this process of knowledge construction is, however, a process that is not effectively part of the routine of Brazilian libraries. Not only by operational difficulties existing in relation to the size of collections to be known, but above all, by the lack of a set of theoretical content in this subject, which enables librarians to win the challenges to an effective management of a collection. This paper highlights these shortcomings, visible in practices Brazilian librarians having a cultural component whose origins pass through the national policy choices of adoption to the external models, instead of creating a own model. Therefore, it is visible today, the need to a specialization through converging application of methodologies for the management and treatment of the collection, as a scientific object. object.

Abstract:
The main purpose of the study is to formulate a model plan for KS among the LIS professionals in the selected public and private university libraries of Bangladesh. In accomplishing this purpose, the study advanced by generating three precise objectives and three research questions (RQs) on the basis of the literature reviewed. It also tested several hypotheses to find the answers to the RQs. In conducting this study; survey, quantitative, comparative and exploratory approaches were adopted. A pre-coded questionnaire was used to collect primary data from the sample drawn from the LIS professionals of the selected public and private university libraries through personal visit. The collected data were analyzed by applying frequency distribution, cross tabulation and descriptive statistical tools while the hypotheses were tested by applying Chi-square test and Mann Whitney U test based on the scale of measurement. The major findings of the study were the perceptions of the LIS professionals from the selected university libraries about the prerequisites for KS (intellectual capital, factors influencing KS, and KS skills); facilitators (KS process, KS methods, KS techniques, and KS tools) and barriers to KS; and consequences of KS (influences of KS on learning, feedback, and transferring knowledge after KS). In fact, this study proposed a model plan for KS among the LIS professionals in the selected university libraries of Bangladesh. The study has the potentiality for implementation in the practical field to introduce and/or transform the conventional and unorganized KS practices by a systematic and organized KS culture. The major limitations of the study are the selection of the university libraries situated only in Dhaka city, excluding the university library users from the population and not justifying the proposed model plan. Therefore the study suggested future research by selecting university libraries from different part of the country, including the user category in the population and attempting to justify the model plan.

Abstract:
This thesis presents the history of the Central Library of San Marcos University between the years 1923 and 1966. This period was chosen because 1923 is an important year in the history of the library, when under the direction of Pedro S. Zulen there is a significant improvement in services made to the public. Continuing forward 43 years, the history of the library is presented until the catastrophic earthquake of Oct.1966. This teluric movement required the transfer of students and teachers from the main building of the University (At that time in the Casona del Parque Universitario) to the new recently constructed "University City". Unfortunately, after the relocation the Library is unable to continue offering services because there was no physical space for it in the new campus. Ongoing development of the University library was then seriously limited by external and internal factors. The main external factor was the lack of autonomy of the university with regards to the ever changing government. In this sense, each 'golpe de estado' (coup), meant the resignation of the rector and in turn, the disruption of the institutional politics by a new administration. As to the internal factors, the Library lacked professional employees- librarians - with leadership abilities (with exceptions under the direction of Pedro Zulen and Jorge Basadre) and the absence of institutional support (including budget, salaries, physical space). The main conclusion that can be drawn is that the Central Library languished with a series of unfinished projects, resulting from the adverse institutional factors. Far from its users and in an urban environment deteriorating daily, the institution lost its role of central axis of librarian development of the university.

Abstract:
We present a diagnosis of the current situation of the Information Literacy formation given to the students from the Information Units of the University of the Republic. As a theoretical frame, a summary of the User Education concepts, Information Literacy and more, the importance of it in the Information Society, and a revision of the history and the current situation of the University and its Information Units, is presented. Since it is a diagnosis and there is a lack of previous investigations, this research is exploratory. The universe of this research includes all the libraries of the principal services of the University, specifically 23 from Montevideo and 3 from inland. The data was raised through a Web questionnaire, covering three dimensions: theoretical notions of Information Literacy and User Education, the importance in the University Students, and activities made about these. Among the most relevant conclusions, it is stood out that a superficial use exists in the Information Literacy concept, focusing this on the information treatment, or in the tools, in some cases. This concept is reassured, in the facts, in giving the formation. All the Information Units believe that this is very important for the students and they assume that it is from their competence, but in the practice the contents that are included are minimum and the frequency that is offered is very low. It is observed that without being fully aware of the topic some necessities have been detected in the students and incorporated activities from the Information Literacy in the Users Education. Finally, some recommendations are offered, in the way of action lines and investigation, expected to be taken as resources for future development of the subject.
