This thesis is concerned with a better understanding of issues which currently limit the precision, accuracy and robustness of rehydroxylation (RHX) dating. MC simulations and analytical expressions show that age uncertainties of previous studies are underes- timates. The ratio of sample mass to balance resolution should be of the order of 10<sup>-6</sup> or less for measurement precision under 1%. Comparison of self esteem, mastery, coping strategies, and negotiation styles were made between those who had experienced dating violence and those who had not. Abstract:

The most important aspect of online dating is the messaging. Resting upon that argument, this project discursively analyzes naturally-occurring interactions between users on two online dating sites. Current facework, relationship initiation, and online dating research lacks a systematic understanding of the conversational processes involved in establishing a relationship online. Esta dissertação faz um estudo do dativo de terceira pessoa no português culto falado em Belém. Os passos utilizados para se chegar a esse estudo foram dois: um levantamento criterioso da descrição do objeto indireto nas principais gramáticas de língua portuguesa e em vários estudos (artigos, dissertações, teses) com base em descrições lingüísticas. A literatura sobre a expressão do dativo na variedade brasileira do português, de modo geral, aponta importantes mudanças que vêm ocorrendo. Estudos já apontaram para o crescente desaparecimento do pronome clítico dativo de terceira pessoa e para a substituição da preposição a pela preposição para na introdução de objeto indireto (OI) lexical no português brasileiro (PB).
