Abstract:
We present a two-tier distributed hash table-based scheme for data-collection in event-driven wireless sensor networks. The proposed method leverages mobile sinks to significantly extend the lifetime of the sensor network. We propose localized algorithms using a distributed geographic hash-table mechanism that adds load balancing capabilities to the data-collection process. We address the hotspot problem by rehashing the locations of the mobile sinks periodically. The proposed mobility model moves the sink node only upon the occurrence of an event according to the evolution of current events, so as to minimize the energy consumption incurred by the multihop transmission of the event-data. Data is collected via single-hop routing between the sensor node and the mobile sink. Simulation results demonstrate significant gains in energy savings, while keeping the latency and the communication overhead at low levels for a variety of parameter values.

The purpose of this study is to describe the existence of Bi’ah lughawiyah inincreasing students' mufrodat in Nurul Islam women’s dormitory TengaranBoarding House. This research is descriptive qualitative. Techniques of datacollection using observation, tests, interviews and documentation. Data analysistechniques according to Matthew B. Miles and A. Michel Huberman (datacollection, Data Reduction, Data Presentation, Conclusion). The results showedthat the activities that took place at Bi’ah lughawiyah were Language Tutorials,Speeches (Muhadarah), Muhadasah, Language Time, Drilling, MahrojanLughawi. The existence of Bi’ah lughawiyah as a forum to improve students'mastery of mufrodat in practicing Arabic as a language of everyday instructionin communication in the environment of the Nurul Islam Tengaran women'sdormitory. Although basically not all students' mastery ability is influenced by theexistence of Bi'ah lughawiyah. There are other factors that also influence students'mastery of mastery skills obtained from previous educational backgrounds, namely alumni from Islamic-based elementary schools with mean = .75, standarddeviation = 5.82, and standard error = 0.77.

Abstract:
The Queensland Radium Institute has had a computerised database for 15 years butthere was little uniformity in the data collected and there was considerable scope forimprovement. In 1991 the institute decided to upgrade and standardise its datacollection system. The improvements will allow easier access to the data for researchand audit purposes. The process was effective and the implementation straightforwardbecause of effective planning and training. This paper outlines the process used in thereview and implementation of the new database system and describes the data setsin some detail.

Abstract:
The 1993-98 Aboriginal Health Strategic Plan for South Western Sydney represented the first partnership of its kindbetween an Area Health Service, local Aboriginal Health Workers and the local Aboriginal Community ControlledHealth Service in Australia. During 1998, an evaluation of the plan was undertaken as part of the preparation forthe second Aboriginal Health Plan. Of the 45 strategies in the first plan, 38% had been fully implemented, 42% hadbeen partly implemented, and 20% were not implemented at all. This paper discusses the importance of datacollection and monitoring systems, the integration of Aboriginal health into mainstream services, the furtherdevelopment of Aboriginal health infrastructure, and continued leadership by senior managers.

Abstract:
This phenomenological study examined the role of emotional and cultural intelligence in the social integration of international students. The study included nine participants who were selected using purposeful sampling. The researcher used five main interview questions to guide the datacollection process. The questions were designed to help determine both whether the participant appeared to be competent in cultural and emotional intelligence, and how that competence then contributed to his or her social integration. The study findings revealed that emotional and cultural intelligence played an important role in enabling international students to integrate socially. This article seeks to offer a deeper understanding of the social integration challenges of international students, contribute to the existing knowledge, and offer suggestions for future research.

Abstract:
Pilot studies have suggested that telemedicine is a satisfactory means of delivering nursing services into the home. A home telecare programme in Kansas provided nursing services to homes in four towns in Kansas. The present study examined patients' and nurses' perceptions of a variety of issues related to home telecare. Datacollection methods included in-depth interviews, observation and analyses of archival data from patient records. Patients suffered an average of 4.6 concurrent illnesses. On the whole, patients perceived the system as a valuable resource that offered great potential, although many saw no immediate health benefits for themselves. Nurses were enthusiastic about the prospect of practising in this way, although they did have strong opinions about what types of nurses, patients and illnesses were suited to telemedicine.

Indonesia is a tropical region with very large solarenergy where an average daily insulation of 4.5 - 4.8 KWh / m² /day. Based on this fact, solar energy is a potential form ofrenewable energy to be developed. This study aims to design aPLTS system which is the initial stage of planning PLTS systemdevelopment. This system Design uses Matlab software byutilizing the Matrix Unit Interface (GUI) Matlab to calculatethe amount of electrical load to be used, battery capacityrequirements, number of solar modules and large capacity ofthe inverter to be used. Location of the measurement datacollection takes place in the city of Pinrang, area of the Suppasub-district shrimp farm. Measurements are conducted todetermine how much solar radiation and air temperature in thepond area.

Abstract:
Software containers are changing the way distributed applications are executedand managed on cloud computing resources. Autoscaling allows containerizedapplications and services to run resiliently with high availability without the demandof user intervention. However, specifying an autoscaling policy that can guaranteethat no performance violations will take place is an extremely hard task, and doomedto fail unless considerable care is taken. Existing autoscaling solutions try to solvethis problem but fail to consider application specific parameters when doing so, thuscausing poor resource utilization and/or unsatisfactory quality of service in certaindynamic workload scenarios. This thesis proposes an autoscaling solution that enables cloud native application toautoscale based on application specific parameters. The proposed solution consistsof a profiling strategy that detects key parameters that affect the performance ofautoscaling, and an autoscaling algorithm that automatically enforces autoscalingdecisions based on derived parameters from the profiling strategy. The proposed solution is compared and evaluated against the default autoscalingfeature in Kubernetes during different realistic user scenarios. Results from thetesting scenarios indicate that the proposed solution, which uses application specificparameters, outperforms the default autoscaling feature of Kubernetes in resourceutilization while keeping SLO violations at a minimum
