Abstract:
The relevance of the topic considered in the article lies in solving the problems of designing expert systems for industrial enterprises based on big data technology. The purpose of the study is to analyze the applied methodologies at the design stage of an enterprise information system, to develop algorithms for the operation of an expert system with big data. A brief statement of the problem consists in analyzing the technologies available on the market for working with big data and the possibility of using them for expert systems, identifying the main stages of working with big data for industrial enterprises. In the modern world, the problem of using Big Data has become extremely urgent. Companies, firms and corporations that are leaders in the field of information technology and business conduct are busy looking for optimal solutions for managing a huge amount of constantly incoming information and its in-depth analysis. They are looking for ways to profit from the data at their disposal, trying to get new data from the existing ones. Developing your own expert system is more cost effective. Methods used - methods of analysis and design IDEF0, DFD, IDEF1, IDEF3, methods of functional (structural) design, methods of object-oriented design. The results obtained - a method of using big data to create an expert system for an industrial enterprise has been developed. Implementation of such an expert system on your own is much cheaper than purchasing ready- made software systems.

Abstract:
In a business application environment, the business processes are seldom static. This puts tremendous pressure on the information systems planning and development group (ISPD) to continually modify computer systems to adapt to changing needs of users. This often means that the computer system does not reflect the current business process because of the time lag required to make changes. At the same time, user expectations about the type and quality of changes may not accurately reflect what ISPD can deliver. This paper discusses a conceptual model that can be used to better understand the dynamics of introducing a new computer system into an organization, and some of the techniques used at AT&T/Springfield in the design, development, and deployment of information systems.

Abstract:
ETL refers to the process of data extracting, transformation and loading and is deemed as a critical step in ensuring the quality, data specification and standardization of marine environmental data. Marine data, due to their complication, field diversity and huge volume, still remain decentralized, polyphyletic and isomerous with different semantics and hence far from being able to provide effective data sources for decision making. ETL enables the construction of marine environmental data warehouse in the form of cleaning, transformation, integration, loading and periodic updating of basic marine data warehouse. The paper presents a research on rules for cleaning, transformation and integration of marine data, based on which original ETL system of marine environmental data warehouse is so designed and developed. The system further guarantees data quality and correctness in analysis and decision-making based on marine environmental data in the future.

Abstract:
Geospatial data and related technologies have become an increasingly important aspect of data analysis processes, with their prominent role in most of them. Serverless paradigm have become the most popular and frequently used technology within cloud computing. This paper reviews the serverless paradigm and examines how it could be leveraged for geospatial data processes by using open standards in the geospatial community. We propose a system design and architecture to handle complex geospatial data processing jobs with minimum human intervention and resource consumption using serverless technologies. In order to define and execute workflows in the system, we also propose new models for both workflow and task definitions models. Moreover, the proposed system has new Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Application Programming Interface (API) Processes specification-based web services to provide interoperability with other geospatial applications with the anticipation that it will be more commonly used in the future. We implemented the proposed system on one of the public cloud providers as a proof of concept and evaluated it with sample geospatial workflows and cloud architecture best practices.

Abstract:
With the infusion of information technologies into product development and production processes, effective management of product data is becoming essential to modern production enterprises. When an enterprise-wide Product Data Manager (PDM) is implemented, PDM designers must satisfy the requirements of individual users with different job functions and requirements, as well as the requirements of the enterprise as a whole. Concern must also be shown for the interrelationships between information, methods for retrieving archival information and integration of the PDM into the product development process. This paper describes a user-driven approach applied to PDM design for an agile manufacturing pilot project at Sandia National Laboratories that has been successful in achieving a much faster design-to-production process for a precision electro mechanical surety device.

Abstract:
In land seismic data acquisition systems, as seismic exploration goes towards to cover large area, a multi-channel structure is needed. In such systems, synchronization is very important, which has great influence on data acquisition and transmission. In this paper, a clock synchronization scheme for seismic exploration is proposed. In the scheme, LVDS serial transmission is used so that the whole system clocks can be made to have the same frequency through clock data recovery technique. Moreover, to compensate the effect caused by transmission delay, an effective algorithm based on PLL phase locked and FPGA logic is proposed in this scheme. The test results show that this scheme meets the system clock synchronization requirements well with the error precision less than 1ns, which fully demonstrates the feasibility and reliability of the scheme. The scheme proposed here can be used in related systems which require clock synchronization.

This paper considers sampled-data control of time-delay systems. First we show that under a certain nonpathological sampling condition, a sampled-data system is internally stable in continuous time if and only if the corresponding discretized system is stable in discrete time. Based on this, we then study two sampled-data design problems for (unstable) time-delay systems: ℋ2-optimal disturbance attenuation and robust stabilization. In both cases, the sampled-data problem can be recast via operator methods as exactly a discrete-time problem and hence be solved using known techniques.

Abstract:
The Hydrologic Data Development System is a prototype system of spatial data and menu-driven programs that allows user-interactive determination of hydrologic parameters and estimation of flood-frequency relationships for the design of highway drainage structures. The program employs Arc/Info, a commercial geographical information system. A data base was developed to cover the extent of Texas at a scale of 1:2,000,000 and a smaller sample area of northeast Texas at a scale of 1:250,000. The data include digital-elevation models, major highways, soil characteristics, design rainfall depth-frequency-duration, land use, stream gauge sites, hydrologic regions, and political boundaries. New tables were developed to spatially relate soil characteristics and land use to runoff coefficients used in the Natural Resources Conservation Service Runoff Curve Number method. The system employs spatial-analysis techniques to establish an outfall, to delineate drainage boundaries and flow paths using relevant digital-elevation data, and to use other data layers to determine parameters such as average watershed slope, time of concentration, area-weighted runoff curve numbers, and area-weighted design rainfall. Input files can be established and submitted to the Texas Hydraulic System computer program to determine food-frequency relationships.

Abstract:
Purpose – Over the past 20 years, heritage inventories in Flanders (Belgium) have evolved from printed books to digital inventories. The purpose of this paper is to look at this evolution and highlight the interaction between the system and its users. Design/methodology/approach – After a short introduction about the history of inventories in Flanders, this paper mainly concerns itself with the last decade. Discrete topics will be highlighted to show the effects of the interaction that has taken place. Findings – It is obvious that a system that publishes a digital inventory needs to adapt to the user requirements. But, after years of working with a digital inventory system, it has become apparent that not only has the system been developed to the users’ needs, but also that user practice and the resulting data have been shaped by the system. Seeing data projected on a common basemap has led researchers to realise how intertwined and interdependent different types of heritage can be and how much their respective methodologies can benefit from more interaction. It has become apparent that data quality is of the utmost importance, something that can only be guaranteed by data entry standards, validation tools, and a strict editing workflow. The systems that are being developed are not expected to live on forever, but the data in them is. Originality/value – This paper presents real-life use cases and practical applications of building and maintaining a large digital inventory system over the years and through changes in organisational structure and focus. It provides insights that are hard to ascertain from smaller projects due to the volumes of data that are handled.

Abstract:
In this paper, we describe a ground penetrating radar (GPR) system called the wide angle reflection and refraction (WARR) machine, outline the design and discuss the implementation challenges. WARR and the closely related common-mid-point (CMP) GPR soundings have been standard survey methods to measure velocity since GPR first existed. Earliest efforts demonstrated the variation in ice sheet velocity versus depth. Although GPR multi-offset soundings are valuable survey methods, they have seen little adoption since many systems are not bistatic. In addition, surveys most often use a single transmitter with a single receiver deployed sequentially at varying antenna separations, making data acquisition slow. Modern instrumentation with recent advances in GPR timing and control technology has enabled deployment of systems with multiple concurrent sampling receivers. This development has resulted in the ability to continuously acquire multi-offset WARR data at the same rate as two dimensional (2D) common offset reflection surveys in the past. The concomitant issues of survey design plus organizing the WARR data storage, documentation and analysis present numerous challenges. The extraction of velocity information from the large volumes of GPR WARR/CMP data demands automated analysis techniques. We have explored the use of normal move out (NMO) stacking at creating enhanced zero offset section from multi-offset data. Furthermore, we investigated the use of semblance analysis at estimating move-out velocities in order to apply in the NMO stack. These traditional seismic processing steps have proven to be less effective with GPR. These conclusions point to the differences in data character between seismic and GPR. Results of in-field deployment are used to illustrate advances to date and point the way to further advancements.
