Abstract:
High-throughput technologies have been used to generate a large amount of omics data. In the past, single-level analysis has been extensively conducted where the omics measurements at different levels, including mRNA, microRNA, CNV and DNA methylation, are analyzed separately. As the molecular complexity of disease etiology exists at all different levels, integrative analysis offers an effective way to borrow strength across multi-level omics data and can be more powerful than single level analysis. In this article, we focus on reviewing existing multi-omics integration studies by paying special attention to variable selection methods. We first summarize published reviews on integrating multi-level omics data. Next, after a brief overview on variable selection methods, we review existing supervised, semi-supervised and unsupervised integrative analyses within parallel and hierarchical integration studies, respectively. The strength and limitations of the methods are discussed in detail. No existing integration method can dominate the rest. The computation aspects are also investigated. The review concludes with possible limitations and future directions for multi-level omics data integration.

Abstract:
This paper introduces a new hybrid clustering method using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Balanced Scorecard (BSC) methods. DEA cannot identify its’ input and output itself, and it is a major weakness of the DEA. In the proposed method, this gap is resolved by integrating DEA with BSC. Some decision-making units (DMUs) needed in DEA method, in compliance with some inputs and outputs is the major drawback of this integration. To deal with this disadvantage, the proposed method selects the most important strategic factors, attained from the BSC method. These data considered to be the input data for the DEA method to calculate relative closeness (RC) of each DMU to the ideal one. Plotting the screen diagram regarding RC index leads us to the final clustering method. Finally, computational results show the applicability and usefulness of the method.

Abstract:
Text mining is a technique to discover meaningful patterns from the available text documents. The pattern sighting from the text and document association of document is a well-known problem in data mining. Analysis of text content and categorization of the documents is a composite task of data mining. Some of them are supervised and some of them unsupervised manner of document compilation. The term “Federated Databases” refers to the in sequence integration of distributed, autonomous and heterogeneous databases. Nevertheless, a federation can also include information systems, not only databases. At integrating data, more than a few issues must be addressed. Here, we focus on the trouble of heterogeneity, more specifically on semantic heterogeneity – that is, problems correlated to semantically equivalent concepts or semantically related/unrelated concepts. In categorize to address this problem; we apply the idea of ontologies as a tool for data integration. In this paper, we make clear this concept and we briefly explain a technique for constructing ontology by using a hybrid ontology approach.

The powerful tool of GPS-InSAR integration is drawing more and more attention in deformation monitoring. This paper introduces firstly method of atmospheric corrections and orbit errors to InSAR images using GPS datas. Then, the scheme of GPS-InSAR data integrating is expounded, Finally, Analysis and examples prove that GPS and InSAR technology has highly complementary. On the one hand the GPS provides good approach for resolving sensitivity that the InSAR opposite to atmospheric parameters change and the orbit error correction, on the other hand, we can use GPS technology to raise the InSAR spatial resolution , and are able to monitor surface deformation in millimeter-level precision. Therefore, using GPS-InSAR integrated technology will break through the technical limitations of a single application. They play each of their respective advantages, which greatly improve the resolved capacity in space domain and time domain, so as to provide better services to monitor the surface deformation.

Abstract:
Difficult-to-find petroleum resources and expensive drilling drive the need for improved exploration methods. Although improvement can be made by technically advancing individual methods, greater improvement comes from integrating existing independent exploration methods to dramatically improve drilling success. Exploration integration is often discussed, but it is less often carried out. A reason exploration integration has been limited may be due to the lack of clearly defined integration methods. In this study, we looked at the integration of independent exploration methods; we studied its fundamental principles, how it works, and why it is effective. Derived from basic probability theory, a simple map overlay of independent exploration data can be an effective integration method. Probability calculations determine the probability of a successful well from known probabilities of integrated independent techniques. A successful integration of data from Cheeseburger Field, Eastern Shelf of the Midland Basin, Stonewall County, Texas, illustrates how integration of 3D seismic, subsurface geologic, and surface geochemical data improve drilling results beyond those achieved from any single method used alone. In Cheeseburger Field, 3D seismic and subsurface geology resulted in [Formula: see text] successful wells. After integrating geochemical exploration data, results improved to [Formula: see text]. Modern petroleum exploration is a multitool, integrated information science. Probability theory provides a means for predicting outcome of integrating independent exploration methods. Enhanced exploration success can be achieved by combining independent and complementary exploration methods in this integration process.

Abstract:
Information integration is one of the most important aspects of a Data Warehouse. When data passes from the sources of the application-oriented operational environment to the Data Warehouse, possible inconsistencies and redundancies should be resolved, so that the warehouse is able to provide an integrated and reconciled view of data of the organization. We describe a novel approach to data integration in Data Warehousing. Our approach is based on a conceptual representation of the Data Warehouse application domain, and follows the so-called local-as-view paradigm: both source and Data Warehouse relations are defined as views over the conceptual model. We propose a technique for declaratively specifying suitable reconciliation correspondences to be used in order to solve conflicts among data in different sources. The main goal of the method is to support the design of mediators that materialize the data in the Data Warehouse relations. Starting from the specification of one such relation as a query over the conceptual model, a rewriting algorithm reformulates the query in terms of both the source relations and the reconciliation correspondences, thus obtaining a correct specification of how to load the data in the materialized view.

Abstract:
AbstractSingle-cell atlases often include samples that span locations, laboratories and conditions, leading to complex, nested batch effects in data. Thus, joint analysis of atlas datasets requires reliable data integration. To guide integration method choice, we benchmarked 68 method and preprocessing combinations on 85 batches of gene expression, chromatin accessibility and simulation data from 23 publications, altogether representing >1.2 million cells distributed in 13 atlas-level integration tasks. We evaluated methods according to scalability, usability and their ability to remove batch effects while retaining biological variation using 14 evaluation metrics. We show that highly variable gene selection improves the performance of data integration methods, whereas scaling pushes methods to prioritize batch removal over conservation of biological variation. Overall, scANVI, Scanorama, scVI and scGen perform well, particularly on complex integration tasks, while single-cell ATAC-sequencing integration performance is strongly affected by choice of feature space. Our freely available Python module and benchmarking pipeline can identify optimal data integration methods for new data, benchmark new methods and improve method development.

This value indicates that the application of the matching schema has been quite good. But there are still some of the same data between the schemes so that the integration of the data owned is not maximal. So that optimization is still needed to maximize the data integration

Abstract Aiming at the characteristic of power data with multiple sources, wide distribution and complex association, this paper proposes a power data integration method based on Database-Table Metadata Semantic (DTMS), which can realize the integration of grid data at the metadata layer. Firstly, based on the structure of the database, the semantic expression is established between database and table; Secondly, this paper combines the Jaccard distance similarity method and the edit distance similarity method to achieve semantic matching between metadata and technical terms, which can solve the shortcomings of the single similarity method. Finally, according to the characteristics of power data assets, a power data integration scheme based on DTMS is proposed for multi-source power data integration. Through experiments, the accuracy of the algorithm in this paper has reached 95.8%.

Abstract:
Seismic data are an important source of information to guide and constrain reservoir modeling as it samples the subsurface in 3D away from wells. Seismic interpretations are used to constrain the structure of reservoir models. Different seismic attributes can support the identification and definition of stratigraphic features, and seismic inversion products can help constrain the rock properties. Different methods exist for integration of seismic data in the modeling process. Here, we present two new methods. The first method constrains facies definition and modeling with seismic data through a geobody earth modeling approach. The second method updates existing facies models with new seismic data using a Bayesian approach. Both methods are applied to a case study with good quality seismic data. The results show that the reservoir model becomes more consistent with the observed field seismic data when these fast and repeatable methods are applied (compared to not integrating seismic constraints or using time-intensive manual integration approaches), thus enabling more robust reservoir models and forecasts.

Abstract:
Summary We consider situations where the data consist of a number of responses for each individual, which may include a mix of discrete and continuous variables. The data also include a class of predictors, where the same predictor may have different physical measurements across different experiments depending on how the predictor is measured. The goal is to select which predictors affect any of the responses, where the number of such informative predictors tends to infinity as the sample size increases. There are marginal likelihoods for each experiment; we specify a pseudolikelihood combining the marginal likelihoods, and propose a pseudolikelihood information criterion. Under regularity conditions, we establish selection consistency for this criterion with unbounded true model size. The proposed method includes a Bayesian information criterion with appropriate penalty term as a special case. Simulations indicate that data integration can dramatically improve upon using only one data source.

This paper shows that profiles can be predicted satisfactorily and that accurate intensities are obtained. The detailed profile analysis has the additional advantage that specific physical properties of the crystal are revealed. TheEVAL15method is particularly useful in circumstances where other programs fail, such as regions of reciprocal space with weak scattering, crystals with anisotropic shape or anisotropic mosaicity,Kα1/Kα2peak splitting, interference from close neighbours, twin lattices, or satellite reflections of modulated structures, all of which may frustrate the customary profile learning and fitting procedures.EVAL15allows the deconvolution of overlapping reflections.

Abstract:
During complex manufacturing process, various manufacturing information systems and management information systems are often existing as heterogeneous systems, and manufacturing data is distributed everywhere across the whole value chain of the enterprises. One of the most valuable targets in the integration of these manufacturing information systems is the sharing of enterprise resources which are described in different formats in different information systems. In this paper, meta-resource model is extended using workflow to combine enterprise resources together with business process during manufacturing. Then, an effective method of data integration is proposed based on the meta-resource model. In the proposed method, heterogeneous data is encapsulated in unified format of resource and binding with workflow so that data resources could be accessed according to the business process of manufacturing. Finally, case study shows that the resource-based data integration approach is more robot and flexible than traditional data integration method, especial under the environment of complex manufacturing.

Abstract:
In the era of data revolution, availability and presence of data is a huge wealth that has to be utilized. Instead of making new surveys, benefit can be made from data that already exists. As enormous amounts of data become available, it is becoming essential to undertake research that involves integrating data from multiple sources in order to make the best use out of it. Statistical Data Integration (SDI) is the statistical tool for considering this issue. SDI can be used to integrate data files that have common units, and it also allows to merge unrelated files that do not share any common units, depending on the input data. The convenient method of data integration is determined according to the nature of the input data. SDI has two main methods, Record Linkage (RL) and Statistical Matching (SM). SM techniques typically aim to achieve a complete data file from different sources which do not contain the same units. This paper aims at giving a complete overview of existing SM methods, both classical and recent, in order to provide a unified summary of various SM techniques along with their drawbacks. Points for future research are suggested at the end of this paper.

Abstract:
<p class="Standard">Science and religion are closely related because they come from one source, namely God Almighty. Therefore, the concept of the integration of science and religion must be implemented in the form of integrating religious characters in the science learning process. This study aims to identify and inventory the learning methods used to integrate religious character values in chemistry learning. This research is conducted by reviewing the literature, both in books, journal articles and popular scientific writings, about methods of integrating religious character values in chemistry learning. The main data sources are from journal articles that discuss the integration of religious characters in chemistry learning. The journal articles that became the main data source were ten articles obtained from the Google Scholar website using the keyword "integration of religious characters in chemistry learning". The research data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. A critical study was also carried out on the literature to obtain the correct conclusion. According to the teacher's creativity, the study results concluded that religious character values can be integrated in chemistry learning in various ways/methods. However, in their article, the researchers did not clearly and unequivocally mention the name of the learning method used to integrate religious characters in chemistry learning. Based on this conclusion, it is recommended that other research is needed to develop a learning model that integrates religious character values in chemistry learning.</p><p class="Standard"><strong><em> </em></strong></p>

Abstract:
This article proposes two integration methods to determine the structure factors along a surface diffraction rod measured with a two-dimensional detector. The first method applies the classic way of calculating integrated intensities in angular space. This is adapted to work efficiently with two-dimensional data. The second method is based on integration in reciprocal space. An intensity map is created by converting the detected intensity pixel by pixel to the reciprocal space. The integration is then performed directly on this map. A theoretical framework, as well as a comparison between the two integration methods, is provided.

Abstract:
The integration of multi-view data in the acquisition of complex surface is researched by using the CMM (coordinate measuring machine) and the laser tracking scanning system. A multi-view data integration method based on the auxiliary reference plane is presented. With the precise auxiliary reference plane, the data measured by the different measuring devices and measuring views are aligned and the accuracy is analyzed. If the error is controlled in a certain range, this method can satisfy the demands of the model and assembly. The problems of low-efficient and low-accuracy in the data fusion of complex surface during the reverse engineering are solved. Meanwhile, the advantages of the different measuring devices and measuring methods are developed. This method has been applied to the reverse engineering development for a motorcycle cover model. The practical result shows that this new method is feasible and efficient.

Abstract:
Abstract. Much work has been carried out on the topic of BIM-GIS integration. As a technical challenge in particular, research and development tackle the standard data formats of the two areas and aim for the conversion between, linking of or overarching querying over data sources of these formats. Usually, these operational cases (conversion, linking, querying) are examined in isolation or even treated as mutually exclusive and competing approaches. With Triple Graph Grammars, we propose to apply a method that allows to derive solutions for these operational cases from a common generic ruleset. We demonstrate this approach in a proof-of-concept implementation using eMoflon. Our work focusses on IFC and CityGML and we present and discuss a first end-to-end demonstration of integrating these standards with the proposed method. Going forward such representation of the correlation between IFC and CityGML, declarative, independent of particular operational implementations, can serve as a vehicle to capture and document acknowledged integration schemes for IFC and CityGML, complementing these two standards with a specification of their correlation.
