Abstract:
Currently, the world is getting more poisonous due to the toxic contaminated and wastewater release from the industries activities. The designers should analyse the effect to the environmental and human health, prior starting any manufacturing and fabricating process. This technique able to optimize the company profit and reduced unnecessary cost by predict any consequences and do correction step before the problem emerge for every action taken. Therefore, this paper aim to provide the evidence that the selection of material and manufacturing process used to fabricate ACB has minimum impact on the environment and human health. A few methods can be used to calculate the environmental damage assessment such as network, compare and uncertainty analysis. In this study, analyse calculation method selected to predict the environmental impact. The results for the damage to human health analysis only contribute 0.0125 DALY, analysis results for the hazardous elements such as methane, trichlorofluoromethane and Chlorofluorocarbons produced during the fabrication process only 1.32 x 10-9 DALY. Besides, the major damage elements to ecosystem quality results only contribute 1.97 x 10-4 species.yr. Therefore, the remarkable results show that the process and material selection to fabricate ACB are very low which was below than 0.1 DALY. Moreover, damage assessment for the terrestrial ecotoxicity of pulforming process using oil palm natural/glass fibre reinforced polyurethane composite only contributed 1.13 × 10−10 (species.year). Consequently, the process could not damage the human health and indicates that the process is environmentally friendly and safe for the ecosystem.

Abstract:
Provincial touring companies of the late Victorian period, comprising mostly unknown actors and actresses, have received minimal scholarly attention until recently. The sheer number of ‘on-the-road’ artists who were employed in such enterprises from the late nineteenth century onwards increased to such an extent that to establish a framework for their individual and collective study presents significant challenges. This article addresses this problem by proposing a method, grounded in genealogy, that records the male and/or female artists of a given touring company over its full term without selective bias in order to establish a cohort of subjects for further examination. It tracks the touring companies of actor-manager Lawrence Daly, an individual unheard of today, between 1887 and 1900, the year of his death. One hundred and twenty-five female artists employed by Daly during this period are recovered, and their careers, family histories, and personal identities are subjected to statistical analysis. The conclusions drawn here not only contribute to the better understanding of the social history of non-elite female provincial artists of the late nineteenth century, but also afford the opportunity to shine a light on figures whose names, lives, and achievements are long forgotten. Further, a case is made for the method as the basis for a wide-ranging database of provincial touring companies and artists. Bernard Ince is an independent theatre historian who has contributed several articles on Victorian and Edwardian theatre to New Theatre Quarterly.

Abstract:
The Crude Palm Oil industry has now become the largest agricultural industry in Indonesia. Nevertheless, the growth of CPO industry could also bring negative impacts on the environment if the company does not control their emissions and discharges properly. Life-cycle Assessment (LCA) is one of the tools that can assess the environmental impacts due to CPO production activities. This study aims to assess the potential environmental impacts arising from the CPO production system at Mill J, PT XYZ, Sumatera Island by using Eco-indicator 99. Based on this study, in 2015, the process in plantation and mill contributed to climate change category was 0.013 DALY or after normalized 202 Pt. Meanwhile, the land use category has 395 PDF*m2yr or 30.8 Pt. Meanwhile, all of the other categories were less than 30.8 Pt, hence, the highest impact of this CPO production system is climate change at the activities in industrial estate (fertilizers usage) and industry (emitted from waste water of palm oil mill).

Abstract:
A conventional life cycle assessment (LCA) framework mainly evaluates the environmental impacts associated with inputs and outputs from/to external environment of a product system. However the inputs and outputs generated from a facility influence not only the external environment but also the working environment. Therefore, this study developed the methodology that could integrates the working environment into a conventional LCA framework. It established the general requirements for adjusting the levels of the system boundary and category indicators in order to integrate appropriately the impacts of both the working environment and the external environment which have the different characteristics. Thus, this study introduced Input Output Analysis (IOA) technique in order to extend the system boundary to the life cycle of a product system, and applied the category indicator such as the number of Disability Adjusted Life Years (DALY), the Potentially Affected Fraction (PAF) and Lost Work Days (LWD) in order to assess the impacts of end point level. A case study of a petrochemical company in Korea was provided as an example for illustrating the feasibility of the methodology developed in this study.

Abstract:
Introduction. Preserving and strengthening the health of the working population is one of the priority tasks in the Russian Federation. According to the "Concept of the Demographic Policy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025", approved by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 135 of 09.10.2007, measures to reduce the mortality rate of the population, primarily citizens of working age, should include measures to reduce the mortality rate and injuries from industrial accidents and occupational diseases. The study aims to assess the relationship of health disorders with work for certain classes of diseases and the indicator of loss of life years, adjusted for the disability of workers (DALY-disability-adjusted life years), shops of pyrometallurgical nickel refining. Materials and methods. We performed a study on JSC "Kola Mining and Metallurgical Company" (JSC "Kola MMC"), which produces and processes copper-nickel ores located in the European part of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation (Murmansk Region), which makes and processes copper-nickel ores. To assess the relationship of health disorders with work, we used the results of mandatory periodic medical examinations of 2113 employees engaged in pyrometallurgical refining of nickel and copper. Results. In the context of individual classes of diseases, experts established a statistically significant decrease in the incidence of diseases of the nervous system, skin and subcutaneous tissue, musculoskeletal system, and conditions of the genitourinary system. The conducted assessment of the connection of these health disorders with working conditions in workers of pyrometallurgical production of nickel and copper showed the presence of an average degree of contact with the impact on the body of a complex of harmful production factors of such health disorders as diseases of the nervous system, skin and subcutaneous tissue, musculoskeletal and genitourinary systems. We evaluated the effectiveness of the measures carried out using the DALY-analysis method. As a result, the researchers found a reduction in this total indicator of health loss among workers of pyrometallurgical refined nickel from 218.8 to 184.6 years (by 17.8%). Conclusions. A comprehensive assessment of health losses by the DALY analysis method indicates a significant reduction in the burden of diseases among workers of pyrometallurgical nickel refining by 15.6%, including among men - by 12.5%, among women - by 28.3%. The economic efficiency of the implemented wellness program in JSC "Kola MMC" showed that the total prevented economic damage due to reducing diseases associated with labor activity amounted to 119.3 thousand rubles per employee of metallurgical production on average for the year. The prevented economic damage resulting from the reduction of occupational diseases per employee amounted to 10.4 thousand rubles per year.

Abstract:
Background. Insufficient night-time reduction of blood pressure (BP) and night hypertension are associated with an increased risk of death regardless of the average daily BP. The study of daily BP profiles is very relevant in patients with hypertension of different age categories due to the high risk of thrombotic complications. Aim: of the study was to determine the peculiarities of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) indices in middle-aged and elderly hypertensive patients depending on the daily BP profile. Materials and methods. ABPM indicators were determined in 125 patients who were divided into 2 groups. 1st group (n=82) – middle-aged hypertensive patients (45-59 years old); 2nd group (n=43) – elderly hypertensive patients (60-74 years old). In the groups of middle-aged and elderly subjects 2 groups of daily BP profiles were distinguished: "dipper" and "non-dipper". Indices of ABPM were determined using a portable recorder ABPM-04 (company "Meditech", Hungary). Measurements of BP were performed every 15 minutes during the day (from 6 to 22 hours) and every 30 minutes at night (from 22 to 6 hours). We determined the following indices: the average daily systolic BP (SBP) (mm Hg), the average daly diastolic BP (DBP) (mm Hg), the average BP (mm Hg); the maximal daily SBP (mm Hg), the maximal daily DBP (mm Hg). The daily index (DI) was also calculated − the percentage of BP decrease at night compared to daytime BP calculated in % DI of SBP, DI of DBP, DI of average BP. Results. The baseline BP level in the average daily SBP and DBP in middle-aged patients of dipper group was significantly higher by 49,6% and corresponded to 155,9±12,0 mm Hg (p<0,001) and 50,4% and was 97,3±6,1 mm Hg (p<0,01). Similar results are observed in the average BP and the maximal daily SBP and the maximal daily DBP values which were significantly higher than the control group by 21,5% (p<0,05) and equaled 110,0±3,6 mm Hg and 21,3% and amounted to 176,3±23,5 mm Hg (p<0,05) and 23,6% and amounted to 117,0±19,2 mm Hg (p<0,05). The baseline BP level in the average daily and maximal SBP, the average daily DBP and the average BP in patients of non-dipper group was significantly higher by 50,8% (p<0,01) and corresponded to 157,1±12,9 mm Hg and 27,4% and equal to 176,9±24,0 mm Hg (p<0,05), 63,8% and amounted to 106,0±1,0 mm Hg (p<0,05) and 44% and was 124,3±6,8 mm Hg (p<0,05) too. In the surveyed elderly patients only the average daily DBP was significantly different from the corresponding control indicator and was lower by 21,4% (p<0,05) and amounted to 91,5±0,7 mm Hg in dipper and 23,1% (p<0,01) and was 93,5±0,7 mm Hg in non-dipper group. Conclusion. Non-dipper group predominates in the structure of daily BP rhythm in elderly hypertensive patients (62,8% versus 37,2%). The average BP decreases in elderly patients of non-dipper group by 11,1% (p<0,05) reliably to patients of middle age.

Abstract:
Relevance. Until now, there is an ongoing debate about the value of different indicators of blood pressure (BP) − systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), pulse blood pressure (PBP) as predictors of essential hypertension (EH). In this regard the issue of target BP levels in patients of different ages remains studied incompletely. Objective is to determine peculiarities of 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring indices in patients with essential hypertension, stage II of different age groups. Materials and methods. ABPM indicators were determined in 130 patients who were divided into 4 groups. 1st group (n=57) – middle-aged hypertensive patients (45-59 years old); 2nd group (n=43) – elderly hypertensive patients (60-74 years old); 3rd group (n=15) – middle-aged patients without EH – control for the 1st group; 4th group (n=15) − elderly patients without EH − control for the 2nd group. Indices of ABPM were determined using a portable recorder ABPM-04 (company "Meditech", Hungary). Measurements of BP were performed every 15 minutes during the day (from 6 to 22 hours) and every 30 minutes at night (from 22 to 6 hours). We determined the following indices: the average daily SBP (mm Hg), the average daly DBP (mm Hg), the average BP (mm Hg); the maximal daily SBP (mm Hg), the maximal daily DBP (mm Hg). The daily index (DI) was also calculated − the percentage of BP decrease at night compared to daytime BP calculated in % DI of SBP, DI of DBP, DI of average BP. Results. In group 1 the average and maximal DBP were lower than in group 2 by 7,4% (p<0,001) and 13,1% (p<0,05), respectively. In group 1, the average daily and maximal SBP decreased by 3,8% and 4,1%, respectively; average heart rate by 3,8%; DI of SBP by 7,8% and DI of average BP by 5,8% but the data were unreliably smaller compared to the data of middle-aged patients. In group 1, the maximal DBP, DI SBP and DBP were not significantly different from the corresponding indicators in the control group. The maximal DBP was higher by 29,3% and amounted to 115,6±21,0 mm Hg and DI SBP and DI DBP are lower by 11,1% and 17,9%, respectively; and were equal to 9,6±7,4 and 13,8±8,1, respectively. In the 2nd group the following parameters decreased unreliably (p>0,05): heart rate by 8,6% and was 63,0±9,1/min., DI SBP by 17,6% and was 8,9±5,5%; DI DBP by 16,1% and was 14,1±7,1%; DI of average BP– by 20,4% and was equal to 11,3±6,1%. Conclusions. It is found that with the age DBP decreases with steadily increased SBP in hypertensive patients. The average daily and the maximal daily DBP are significantly less by 7,4% (p<0,001) and 13,1% (p<0,05) accordingly in elderly patients compared with the middle-aged.

Abstract:
Making decisions such as checking numbers, analyzing movements, data, values is a very important factor for a company. These are activities that make it a daily challenge for a manager, making it even more difficult if performed manually. If the calculation of the data occurs erroneously, the leader can make the wrong decision and the time lost to get to the result ends up occupying his working schedule completely. The work presents the problems that lead to the stock of a glass factory in Manaus-AM, since the main system of the company in question, does not have the ability to provide the necessary data to do studies of materials, and will be implemented a Business Intelligence tool (BI - Qlik Sense) for the construction of dashboards, able to integrate together with the companys system, automating the updating of data and facilitating the manager to read the data clearly and objectively, facilitating the study of inventory.

Abstract:
This study is relevant to investors who wish to diversify their investment portfolio by investing in U.S.-based investment companies that invest in specific Pacific Basin countries to better understand the diversification benefits of such investments. The purpose is to examine the daily returns of selected U.S.-based, country-focused (Pacific Basin) investment companies to see if those returns accurately reflect the changes of the equity indices of the corresponding Pacific Basin market on the following trading day. The method used is that the reactions of daily investment company returns compared to U.S. market daily returns are examined for Japan, South Korea, and Australia for the period 2006–2010. These return reactions are compared to the home-country returns. Next, for the period from 2011 to 2015, the examination is broadened to include U.S.-based investment companies that invest in Taiwan, Singapore, China, and Indonesia. The results show that investment company share prices on “day t” tend to overreact to changes in the S&P 500 on “day t”, relative to “day t+1” changes in the corresponding Pacific Basin market index – often by more than 100%. Finally, the study shows that on “day t+1” these investment company share prices exhibit a reversal. These findings indicate that the diversification benefits of investing in these Pacific Basin investment companies are reduced due to this increased volatility. S&P 500 returns are accompanied by significantly larger returns on the Pacific Basin investment company shares than are actually realized in the home country on the following day, suggesting that the diversification benefits are not being fully realized.

Abstract:
This paper is all about a study that is mainly focused on daily work management (DWM) charts at TVS Motor Company, Mysuru. The objective is to study the process of managing DWM charts and simplification of the process and its impact on the team leader’s decision-making process. The essential information has been gathered from the team leaders of the engine and vehicle assembly through face-to-face interviews, observation, and a deep study of current DWM charts. Secondary information was gathered from books, journals, articles, and websites. Implementation of a dashboard has caused various effects on the DWM of team leaders in different ways one of the major impacts is the reduction (40%) in the time the team leader takes to store the data. It also resulted in a reduction in the shift handover time due to the availability of relevant data in the digitalized format. Not only this, the implementation of digitalized format has also reduced paper consumption in the organization to a greater extent. It has been noticed that the shift handing over time has been reduced to 20 min from 30 min due to a simpler and more precise representation of data from the previous shift through dashboards. Since it has been proved that the digitalization of DWM charts has reduced non-value activities of the team leaders, digitalization of DWM charts can be made in the other units as well

Abstract:
Following the founding and operation of a corporation, the biggest challenge it faces is the risk of bankruptcy, so how to prevent, controlling, and analyze the causes of bankruptcy is one of the most critical tasks for every company. As we all know, many factors affect corporate bankruptcy, and most studies are based on a unilateral or small range of factors set to study its impact on bankruptcy. Based on the data provided by Taiwan Economic Journal from 1999 to 2009, this paper adopts univariate and multivariate analysis models to analyze the data. A 3Comparative analysis, Normality test, T-test, non-parametric test, ANOVA test, Factor analysis and logistics were carried out using SPSS auxiliary tools Regression (Regression) controls relatively comprehensive factors that affect a company's bankruptcy from an overall perspective. It aims to demonstrate the selection of bankruptcy factors and analysis ideas. After analysis, we conclude that through the research and analysis, we have a new understanding of the causes of corporate bankruptcy. We find the four most important factors affecting corporate bankruptcy. Namely, ROAC before interest and depreciation before interest, Liability to Equity, Total assets to GNP price, and No credit interval, In addition, many single factors may have no impact on a company's bankruptcy. However, when they coexist with other factors, they will have a chain effect, resulting in even multiple amplification of the risk of bankruptcy. Therefore, different from the specific analysis of the impact of single factors on the bankruptcy of a company, this paper extracts the primary factors and takes the analysis of the relationship between individual factors as a specific example by showing the research perspective of innovation to propose the actual operation of a company from the macro and micro aspects, that is, to clarify which departments and decisions to pay special attention to in daily operation.

Abstract:
TicketMonster is a deal-of-the-day coupon site which utilizes the Internet and mobile infrastructure to offer deals in Seoul and other cities around Korea on services at restaurants, cafes, spas, and so forth. Following the company's rapid expansion, management made the decision to expand the scope of TicketMonster beyond Korea's borders with the aim of taking on other Asian markets. To this end, TicketMonster acquired Everyday.com.my, the biggest social shopping site in Malaysia. However, it was believed that simply competing in markets across Asia would not enable TicketMonster to claim sufficient market share in light of the international expansion of Groupon and LivingSocial, two online daily deal global giants. Furthermore, competition in the online daily deal sector in Korea had escalated as local, regional and international players vied for consumer awareness and loyalty. On top of an advertising war, competition grew to the point where several sites began selling coupons while knowingly taking a loss by lowering commissions in order to attract competitive products or services for their respective deals and at times paying for the services themselves. In mid-2011, U.S.-based LivingSocial made an offer to buy TicketMonster in order to strengthen its presence in Asia. Considering these changes and challenges, what are the strategic issues regarding TicketMonster and how should the company deal with the offer to deploy its transfer of ownership to LivingSocial? This case will help readers form an opinion on the related management issues and analyses.

Abstract: This paper simulate IoT based smart companies and make our networking infrastructure effective, efficient and most importantly accurate with security. The simulator used is Cisco Packet Tracer, this tool has been used form many years in networking. Main strength of the tool is the offering of a variety of network components that simulate a real network, devices would then need to be interconnected and configured in order to create a network. Technology plays a critical role in all daily activities of the present day. One of these needs is to create a smart office that controls operation and turns off electronic devices via a smartphone. This implementation can be implemented effectively using package tracking software that includes IoT functions to control and simulate a smart office. The latest version of the tool Cisco introduced IoT functionalities, and now it is possible to add to the network smart devices, components, sensors, actuators and also devices that simulate microcontrollers such as Arudino or Raspberry Pi. All the IoT devices can be run on standard programs or can be customized by programming them with Java, Phyton or Blockly. This makes Cisco Packet Tracer an ideal tool for building IoT practical simulations. Smart-Industrial smart-company office offer simulation of a power plant that produces and stores electricity via solar panels and wind turbines. All the electricity is produced by smart devices, then stored and utilized to power a production chain filled with smart sensor and actuators. IoT security features are also introduced in the simulations. Keywords: Internet of things (IOT), Campus Network (CN), networking, wide area network (WAN).

The article compares the results of applying some statistical criteria to detect suspicious values (gross outliers) in the daily performance indicators of one of the transport companies in the Russian Federation. The criteria applicable to data samples with a normal distribution law are considered. In this connection, a preliminary test of the hypothesis about the correspondence of the distribution of controlled quantities to this law was carried out. It is shown that identifying gross outliers in the values of the indicators under consideration requires the simultaneous application of several statistical criteria.

Abstract:
A socio–cognitive model of loneliness states that lonely people are characterized by two characteristics, hypersensitivity to social threat and hyposensitivity to social reward. However, these characteristics have not yet been examined in the daily lives of young adults. Therefore, the main aim of the present study was to examine these two characteristics in young adults and whether relationship status, living situation, and type of company moderated the relationship between sensitivity to threat and reward and feelings of loneliness. The Experience Sampling Method was used, and data were collected among 219 first–year college students (M age = 19.60, 91% female). Participants filled out questionnaires on their smartphone at five random time points per day, on 11 consecutive days. Multilevel analyses showed support for hypersensitivity to social threat, in that students high in loneliness were more negatively affected by negative perceptions of company. Results for hyposensitivity to social reward were in the opposite direction; students high in loneliness were more positively affected by positive perceptions of company than students low in loneliness. These relations were not moderated by relationship status or living situation. Our findings may indicate that loneliness serves as a motivational state that increases susceptibility to the environment in order to restore social relationships. Abstract:
Purpose – The purpose of this is paper is to pay a closer look at the 2008-2009 financial crisis (and its aftermath) and analyzes stock returns of nine major US oil companies as well as the oil and gas sector under daily data from January 1992 to April 2012. Design/methodology/approach – The authors adopt the arbitrage pricing theory model to examine the relationship between stock returns and their influences including oil price return, yield spreads, and US dollar index return. The authors also provide a test for structural changes in each regression model of return series to capture for multiple breaks. To examine the asymmetric effect of oil price returns on stock returns, the authors separate oil price returns series into two series: positive changes in oil price and negative changes in oil price. Findings – The authors find stock returns of oil companies as well as the oil and gas sector are positively affected by oil prices and have stronger effects in the downward direction. Interestingly, The authors find the effects of oil price movements on stock returns increase over time. The authors examine the possibility that investors wishing to hedge against a weakening USD invest in US oil companies and find that more than half of these companies benefit from a weaker USD against the JPY, while all strongly benefit from a weaker USD against major currencies. Originality/value – The authors employ daily data for two-decade period including the last global financial crisis. Due to the long-term period covered in this study, sequential Bai-Perron tests are used to detect structural breaks of stock return series. In addition, the data-dependent procedures result in good specifications throughout with white-noise processes in almost all cases.

Abstract:
Historians of public housing have recently drawn attention to the ways in which housing designs are not merely reflections of societal attitudes, but rather, form part of the dominant ideological and political agenda. This article takes its cue from these insights by exploring an early Canadian state-assisted housing venture, the Toronto Housing Company (THC). The purposes, development, layout and internal design of Riverdale Courts, the major site of the THC endeavour, evolved through the interplay of class-specific and gendered practices, revealing reformers' recognition of the desire to rectify a perceived crisis in social order. The concentration on the quality and internal ordering of workers' homes went beyond purely economic grounds: the ideological role housing could play in regulating social consent was also a pivotal concern. This early case of social reform represents one facet of the state's and the reform movement's increasing engagement with the daily lives of workers through the attempt to shape a proficient, contented and internally-divided workforce.

Recent research suggests that company secretaries are increasingly involved in governance responsibilities in addition to traditional administrative tasks. Little is known in the literature, however, about company secretaries’ changing governance role, and their daily challenges in liaising with boards and other stakeholders. In addition, few studies have been able to gain access to learn firsthand how company secretaries operate. This exploratory study fills this void by gaining access to the opinions of about one hundred company secretaries in the Netherlands who operate in the two-tier board system. Our findings indicate that company secretaries significantly influence an organisation’s governance framework, while they face a number of practical challenges with directors, employees and management in fulfilling their diverse roles and responsibilities

Abstract Background and purpose: The individual is exposed to ever more covert psychological violence or mobbing in workplace within companies. The aim of this study is to analyse the level and the types of psychological violence within a company in which the individual works in their daily lives. Design/Methodology/Approach: Using systematic method current mobbing literature reviews were analysed. Based on a review and analysis of the literature, we recognised increasing amounts of workplace bullying. Then we used and extended Dilts’ model and created a model in which we portrayed the different levels and types of bullying in a company. The presented model is a tool for identifying workplace violence within the company. Results: At the company environment level, there is much bullying associated with social-demographic characteristics and working conditions. At the level of individual behaviour, the type of mobbing exists that is associated with the company’s leadership styles. At the level of professional qualifications, a lack of confidence causes mobbing. At the level of values and beliefs, mobbing is present in attitudes and behavioural intentions. At the level of identity, we can observe mobbing according to sexual identity. At the level of organizational culture, we can recognize a type of mobbing called ‘obsessive dedication’ to working efficiency and organizational silence. Conclusion: Based on the analysis of selected literature we exposed a range of types and levels of mobbing in company. The expanded Model on levels of mobbing in companies provides a framework for collecting information. The user can identify workplace violence and each strategic organizational level in the work organization

Abstract:
Abstract Social relationships are a crucial determinant of both mental and physical health. This effect is partly due to social buffering of stress. Animal studies suggest that social buffering is mediated via the oxytocin system, while studies in humans are sparse and limited by the low ecological validity of laboratory settings. In the present study, participants (N = 326) completed smartphone questionnaires four times a day over 4 to 5 days, measuring stressors, negative affect, and social context to assess social buffering. We found that under stress, participants reported a higher need for social company. Further, the impact of prior stressful events on momentary negative affect was attenuated by the perceived pleasantness of current social company. This social buffering effect was moderated by haplotypes of the oxytocin receptor gene, based on two well-described single nucleotide polymorphisms (rs2268498, rs53576). Effects were robust when controlling for gender and age, applying different data quality criteria, and even apparent in genotype-based analyses. Our findings demonstrate that social buffering and its modulation by oxytocin system characteristics have implications for life as lived outside the laboratory.
