Abstract:
One way of ex-Commercial Sex Workers to be accepted in society is by studying religion and looking for preachers who can help them understand religious communication. Meanwhile, the Da'i provide religious communication through da'wah to try to save ex-Commercial Sex Workers to get the right path. This research focuses on social phenomena about how Da'i's communication experience provides lessons through religious communication of spiritual coaching in former prostitution at Padang City. The experience can be seen from three aspects, namely religious communication of former prostitution in spiritual formation based on subjective experiences, symbolic interaction forms constructed by Da'i in conveying religious communication to ex-prostitutes and how Da'i constructs religious communication behavior in former prostitution after resign as sex worker. This research uses a qualitative method with a constructive paradigm. The data collection method is interview, observation and documentation. The informants of this research are da'I and former prostitution. This research was analyzed and dissected with phenomenological, symbolic interactional theory and reality construction. The results of this study are the communication of the Dai Religion in Spiritual Development in Former Prostitution in Padang conducted the first stage of the Moral Development method, the Second Stage of self-transformation and the third Stage of intellectual capacity building. Symbolic interaction is shown by Dai in communicating communication messages through verbal symbols that is more to language. Construction of the Meaning of Former prostitution by Dai to former prostituses after quitting employment in disguised prostitution is that ex-prostitution must be appreciated.

Abstract:
The impact of neutrosophy has increased rapidly in many areas of science and technology in recent years. Furthermore, numerous applications of the neutrosophic theory have become more usual. We aim to use neutrosophy to enhance Dai–Liao conjugate gradient (CG) iterative method. In particular, we suggest and explore a new neutrosophic logic system intended to compute the essential parameter t required in Dai–Liao CG iterations. Theoretical examination and numerical experiments signify the effectiveness of the introduced method for controlling t. By incorporation of the neutrosophy in the Dai–Liao conjugate gradient principle, we established novel Dai–Liao CG iterations for solving large-scale unconstrained optimization problems. Global convergence is proved under standard assumptions and with the use of the inexact line search. Finally, computational evidence shows the computational effectiveness of the proposed fuzzy neutrosophic Dai–Liao CG method.

Abstract:
This paper seeks to emphasize that Dai has serious religious responsibility for environmental damage that has occurred in Indonesia, especially in seven provinces that have peat areas. For those environmental damages, whether intentional or unintentional by anyone, even any group, even the State, was the target of the Da'i's preaching, of course. Dai in the peat land who can preach is one who has participated in training and workshops and is in accordance with his ability to broadcast MUI fatwas on the environment, ecosystems, forests and land fires. The theory used in this paper is da'wah and local train theory whose material content strongly refers to the fatwa of the MUI. The purpose of this paper is to find out the dais religious response to the environment of peat land in an Islamic perspective and dai's serious efforts in preaching is a form of religious and social responsibility carried out by Dai and this is necessary to get serious support also from all walks of course.

Abstract:
Since most health care professionals are trained in acute care settings where all efforts are employed to prolong life, they may not be comfortable caring for dying patients. Hospice professionals have a lot of experience dealing with dying patients. The purpose of this study was to compare and contrast the death attitudes of hospice and hospital-based health care professionals. The construct theory for the study was that comfort in dealing with dying patients is based on 1) personal beliefs about death and 2) experience dealing with dying patients. Seventy-six hospital and 106 hospice workers participated in the study and completed the thirty-four-item Death Attitude Index (DAI) and the fifteen-item Death Anxiety Scale [1]. The results showed that hospice employees had higher DAI scores (greater comfort caring for the terminally ill), as predicted. Social workers had the highest mean DAI scores and the lowest scores on the DAS (low death anxiety). Nurses aides exhibited high death anxiety and low comfort in dealing with terminal clients. For all disciplines, DAI and DAS scores were highly correlated (coefficient = −0.91). Independent variables that correlated with high DAI scores were educational level and a sacred (versus secular) value system.

Abstract:
Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala‟s novel Narendra Dai is replete with gender issues of the then society that has marked its relevance even at the present time. This article examines how this novel has explored the concept of gender as a per formative entity; and shows that the characters perform the traditional gender roles because of the strict socio-cultural obligations. It also examines while performing the traditional gender roles, how the lives of these characters get affected. For that Judith Butler’s idea of gender theory has been used. Butler proposes theory of gender as a constant performance: a series of cues observed, internalized, and repeated over time. The significance of this study is to contribute a different perspective for the reader to see Narendra Dai because in this novel, Koirala has shown that since the characters cannot go against the social norms, they perform traditional gender roles via social policing and polishing. The study concludes that these characters define the socially prescribed gender roles because gender is socio-political construction that achieves legitimacy and naturality via perpetual observation and repetition.

Motivasi berperan penting menentukan keberhasilan dakwah seorang dai. Realitas adanya motivasi dalam diri dai dapat diamati dalam upaya Rasulullah kala menghadapi tahun kesedihan. Dilakukan deskripsi motivasi Rasulullah menghadapi tahun kesedihan dalam kerangka self-determination theory (SDT). Kerangka SDT dipilih karena mampu mendeskripsikan jenis, karakteristik, hingga aspek pembentuk motivasi Rasulullah dalam peristiwa tersebut. Metodologi kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dalam studi ini. Data pustaka sejarah digunakan sebagai sumber data. Hasil pustaka sejarah menjelaskan bahwa Rasulullah memiliki motivasi: (1) keyakinan atas kebesaran Allah, kebenaran ajaran Islam dan kebenaran janji Allah atas balasan di akhirat; (2) demi melaksanakan perintah Allah untuk berdakwah agar semakin banyak orang yang mengenal dan mengimani ajaran Islam serta sebagai bentuk ketakutan kepada Allah, (3) menyelesaikan berbagai masalah aktual yang menghambat kelancaran kegiatan dakwah. Motivasi tersebut merupakan jenis autonomous motivation sub internalized extrinsic motivation, dengan karakteristik adanya penghayatan personal akan nilai penting dari berbagai usaha yang dilakukan, memiliki pertimbangan secara mandiri untuk melakukan ataupun tidak melakukan aktivitas, serta terdapat koherensi dengan nilai-nilai yang telah dimiliki sebelumnya. Internalized extrinsic motivation dalam diri Rasulullah terbentuk karena terpenuhinya tiga aspek kebutuhan dasar dalam SDT, yakni competence, autonomy, dan relatedness serta adanya controlled motivation yang terintegrasi terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan tersebut.

Dai dalam menyampaikan pesan dakwahnya tidak bisa dilepaskan dari adanya pengaruh kepribadian. Kepribadian membentuk kecenderungan dan pola perilaku dari seorang individu, termasuk dalam berkomunikasi sehingga akan melahirkan pola dalam komunikasinya. Dalam komunikasi dakwah, ditemukan adanya pola komunikasi dakwah dari seorang Dai, seperti dalam pilihan topik, isi ceramah hingga cara penyampaian dakwah termasuk ekspresi dan gerak tubuh yang dimunculkan. Studi kasus yang digunakan adalah pada Aa Gym. Dalam beberapa video ceramah yang diupload melalui media YouTube ditemukan adanya pola dari Aa Gym saat menyampaikan ceramahnya, kondisi ini memiliki kemungkinan dipengaruhi oleh kepribadian dari Aa Gym. Rumusan masalah yang diajukan adalah bagaimana pengaruh kepribadian Aa Gym terhadap pola komunikasi dakwahnya? Teori kepribadian yang digunakan adalah teori tipologi MBTI. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tipe kepribadian Aa Gym adalah extrovert, sensing, dan feeling. Kepribadian extrovert mempengaruhi ekspresi dan gerak tubuh Aa Gym. Kepribadian sensing mempengaruhi pilihan topik ceramah dan isi gagasan penjelas. Kepribadian feeling mempengaruhi isi pesan dakwah Aa Gym yang cenderung menggugah perasaan dari mad’unya. Abstract: The preacher in conveying his da'wah message cannot be separated from the influence of personality. Personality forms tendencies and behavior patterns of an individual, including in communication so that it will give birth to patterns in communication. In da'wah communication, it was found that there was a pattern of da'wah communication from a preacher, such as in the choice of topic, the content of the lecture to the way the da'wah was delivered including the expressions and gestures that were raised. The case study used is Aa Gym. In several video lectures uploaded via YouTube media, it was found that there was a pattern from Aa Gym when delivering his lecture, this condition has the possibility of being influenced by the personality of Aa Gym. The formulation of the problem posed is how does Aa Gym's personality influence his da'wah communication pattern? The personality theory used is the MBTI typology theory. The results of the analysis show that Aa Gym's personality types are extrovert, sensing, and feeling. Extroverted personality influences Aa Gym's expressions and body movements. Sensing personality influences the choice of lecture topic and content of explanatory ideas. The personality of feeling influences the contents of Aa Gym's da'wah messages which tend to evoke feelings from the mad'uw. Abstract:
This study seeks to explore the format of the Muqtadhal Haal da’wah of Kiai Dalhar and its implementation and relevance for modern society. The research uses a historical and socio-anthropological approach, referring to Clifford Geertz’s “thick description” theory and Habermas’ “communication” theory. The research was conducted using the historical method. The results show that the Muqtadhal Haal da’wah is a da’wah that is carried out through communication actions that are built by placing the dai (Islamic preacher) and da’wah targets in an equal position. A dai does not deliver the da’wah material orally before the da’wah targets ask. A dai in delivering his da’wah will try to adapt the materials, methods and media to the psychological, sociological, anthropological and intellectual capacities of the da’wah targets. Da’wah is not carried out in a harsh, rigid and revolutionary way, on the contrary, it is carried out in a polite, gentle, touching manner, and proceeds according to the circumstances of the da’wah targets. The implementation of da’wah applies transcendental, contextual, sentimental and harmonization strategies. The dialectic of democratic communication in the application of the Muqtadhal Haal Kiai Dalhar’s da’wah is very effective in the development of Islam in Central Java, so that the da’wah model can be used as an alternative to da’wah in modern society today.

La pandemia da Coronavirus ha scosso non solo la scuola italiana, cogliendola impreparata sul piano tecnologico, ma anche la vita degli studenti, alterando molte delle loro abitudini. I giovani della generazione Z tuttavia non stati colti così impreparati dalle innovazioni digitali, poiché da tempo sperimentano quotidianamente, sfruttando le strutture elementari del linguaggio audiovisivo, esperienze schermiche soggettive che poi diventano oggetto di narrazioni del sé, secondo modalità ritenute da loro più efficaci rispetto alla scrittura tradizionale e a quella multimediale. Con la Didattica a Distanza e con la trasformazione dell’ambiente-scuola in mediascape, tali pratiche si sono estese all’ambito scolastico: studenti e docenti si sono così ritrovati ad agire, insieme, in un unico grande ambiente mediale generato dalle rilocazioni del dispositivo-scuola e dell’ambiente domestico, con un cortocircuito tra essi. Le loro esperienze sono state testimoniate dai social network, terreno mediale in cui sia studenti che docenti, come mediantropi, sostanziano adeguatamente le proprie emozioni digitali. Per cogliere i legami tra DaD, schermi, esperienze e pratiche, si analizzerà un corpus testuale di area italiana estratto da TikTok, social network audiovisivo molto utilizzato dai giovanissimi, offrendo focus specifici su casi di docenti e studenti che si sono distinti nel flusso mediale, imprimendosi in poco tempo nell’immaginario pandemico dei giovani italiani.

L’articolo offre un contributo al dibattito sull’ibridazione, cercando di superare gli schematismi riguardanti tale concetto. Le premesse per un discorso teorico vengono individuate nell’estetica del conflitto di Friedrich Nietzsche, che scorge nell’opera d’arte il luogo di una lotta tra forze opposte e pone così le basi per una distinzione tra ibridazioni sterili e ibridazioni feconde. Le riflessioni del filosofo tedesco consentono l’elaborazione di una riflessione sull’ibridazione capace di rinunciare all’esaltazione unilaterale delle mescolanze come fenomeno della modernità e di superare le teorie che prediligono i generi in favore di quelle che prediligono i modi di essere e gli stili di pensiero, che meglio permettono di descrivere lo statuto ontologico di oggetti semantici come esseri umani e opere d’arte. L’analisi dei Figli della mezzanotte fornirà un’esemplificazione di tale prospettiva.

<p>This paper aimed to discusses the activity of preaching (dakwah) as being part of the imaging world. The phenomenon is about dai as the advertisement representative from moslem fashion in media. The existence of media behind preaching makes it as a part of media industry. Therefore, consumerism appears as the excesses of capitalism intangible in a spectacle which no longer serves as a guide. This paper employs hyperreality theory of Jean Baudrillard to examine media constructions of reality beyond media. Media act as the bridge of communication in viewing the reality to bring the popular culture, consumerism, and consider it as significant image. We also compare the movement of preaching in media from uswah hasanah concept. However, the activity of preaching in the advancement of technology always faced with challenges, so its movement would be changing and should be adjusted without separated from the Islamic dakwah ethics. Therefore, dai as an actor in preaching does not be predominance by advertisement. Beside that, the important thing, that be supposed to give attention from dai and mad’u, is Islamic substantial not Islamic symbol.</p><p align="center"><strong>***</strong></p><p>Tulisan ini membahas tentang aktivitas dakwah yang menjadi bagian dari dunia pencitraan. Di sini juga digunakan konsep uswah hasanah sebagai salah satu cara pandang terhadap fenomena dai media. Sebab bagaimanapun, aktivitas dakwah pada perkembangan teknologi sekarang ini selalu dihadapkan dengan berbagai perubahan, namun perubahan tersebut harus tetap disesuaikan dengan etika dakwah. Oleh karena itu, dai sebagai ujung tombak aktifitas dakwah jangan sampai didominasi oleh iklan. Selain itu juga diperlukan kesadaran baik dari dai ataupun mad’u agar tidak hanya mementingkan simbol Islam seperti formalisasi jilbab, tetapi juga memperhatikan substansi dari ajaran Islam. </p>

Abstract:
The article discusses how a modern form of AI programming, known as Connectionism in a design known as Distributed Artificial Intelligence (DAI), affects the perception Luhmann has on mass media's role concerning second-order observations. DAI uses nodes to create activity in the systems and not the codes used by the Classic or Symbolic form of AI. Luhmann’s theory can be developed by replacing the systems codes with nodes that change depending on their relations to other nodes. In this way, we can reformulate the concept of communication, so that it includes the systems interactions with the environment. It creates better conditions so that observing opportunities may arise directly from these interactions. Internet and AI-programmed search systems and robots can then act as an artificial semiotic system that creates opportunities for making observations.

Abstract In the last two decades, Bourdieu’s sociology has provided appropriate tools for examining the work of literary translators through history. However, Bourdieusian approaches to literary translation seem to reproduce a major problem underlying Bourdieu’s theory; namely, a deterministic view of human behaviour. This article, against the alleged incompatibility between sociological approaches and culturalist paradigms, proposes to combine Bourdieu’s sociology with the notion of transculturation borrowed from Latin American cultural studies. The article demonstrates how transculturation helps elucidating the divided and contradictory nature of the habitus, as it was originally formulated by Bourdieu in his early writings on Kabylian society. Data from my previous study on the translational activity of Dai Wangshu in Republican China are used to illustrate how transculturation reveals itself as a valid model for the study of literary translators through history beyond the limitations of a sociologically-informed approach based exclusively on a Bourdieusian perspective.

In facing the dynamics of life that are happening, preachers need to upgrade themselves, elaborate, and use all their capabilities for Islamic da'wah activities. Da'i are required to use the media and messages from al-Qur'an and al-Hadith, in the form of faith, sharia, and morals. Da'i in this case is not only aimed at ustaz, kiai, or religious leaders. However, every Muslim and Muslimah is actually a da'i, whether for himself, others, or society in general. One concrete example was carried out by a young Muslim named Afrizal Luthfi Lisdianta, with a work in the form of the novel Dzikir Hati Sang Rocker as a medium for his preaching. This study aims to reveal the message of da'wah in the novel Dzikir Hati Sang Rocker through discourse analysis. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research. This means, as the main source in the form of a novel, it will be narrated by the researcher and adjusted to the theory and analysis used. The analysis in this study uses a discourse analysis model of Teun A. Van Dijk, with its various elements. The results of the study indicate that there is a correspondence between the study of da'wah, novels, and discourse analysis. So that there are two important points, namely: 1) In the sub-chapter of The Jabberwocky, it is found that da'wah messages in the form of husnuzan to fellow human beings, including messages in the moral category and maintaining mahdhah worship, including messages of the category of sharia. 2) In the turning point sub-chapter, a message of preaching is found in the form of believing in the destiny of Allah SWT and creed, which is included in the message of preaching in the category of faith, and not being vindictive, which is included in the message of the moral category. Keywords: Dawah, Writing Media, Novels, Discourse Analysis Dalam menghadapi dinamika kehidupan yang sedang terjadi, dai perlu untuk meng- -upgrade diri, mengelaborasi, dan menggunakan segala kemampuan yang dimiliki untuk kegiatan dakwah Islam. Dai dituntut untuk menggunakan media dan pesanpesan dari al-Quran dan al-Hadits, berupa akidah, syariah, dan akhlak. Dai dalam hal ini bukan hanya tertuju pada ustaz, kiai, atau pemuka agama. Akan tetapi, setiap muslim dan muslimah sejatinya adalah dai, baik untuk dirinya, orang lain, atau masyarakat secara umum. Salah satu contoh konkrit dilakukan oleh pemuda Islam bernama Afrizal Luthfi Lisdianta, dengan karya berupa novel Dzikir Hati Sang Rocker sebagai media dakwahnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pesan dakwah di dalam novel Dzikir Hati Sang Rocker melalui analisis wacana. Metode penelitiannya menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Artinya, sebagai sumber utama dalam bentuk novel, akan dinarasikan oleh peneliti dan disesuaikan dengan teori dan analisis yang digunakan. Analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis wacana model Teun A. Van Dijk, dengan berbagai elemennya. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada kesesuaian antara kajian dakwah, novel, dan analisis wacana. Sehingga terdapat dua poin penting, yakni: 1) Pada sub-bab The Jabberwocky ditemukan pesan dakwah berupa husnuzan kepada sesama manusia termasuk pesan dakwah kategori akhlak dan menjaga ibadah mahdhah termasuk pesan dakwah kategori syariat.2) Pada subbab Titik Balik ditemukan pesan dakwah berupapercaya terhadap takdir Allah SWT dan akidah yang termasuk pesan dakwah kategori akidah, serta tidak pendendam yang termasuk pesan dakwah kategori akhlak. Buchner's reconstruction of the Horologium Augusti continues to be influential, despite fatal flaws demonstrated by Rodríguez-Almeida and Schütz; so we begin by reviewing the state of the evidence. There is no credible indication that Augustus or his successors built an extensive sundial, so we must conclude with Schütz that what Pliny described and what the excavations of the German Archaeological Institute (DAI) uncovered was a solar meridian line. We then proceed to discuss its significance in the context of the Augustan building programme. Since the DAI in fact discovered a Flavian reconstruction, the final question to be addressed is what purpose it served Domitian to rebuild a largely symbolic Augustan instrument that had grown inaccurate over time.

In early- to mid-twentieth century China, the tropical landscapes and indigenous peoples of southern Yunnan entered public consciousness in two different modes of representation: as a desolate and unfamiliar frontier fraught with the peril of diseases and in desperate need of environmental and social engineering; or, as a haven of fertile land with an ideal of harmonious society. In the process of making new senses of this tropical border region, anthropology played a major role as Chinese anthropologists working in this newly institutionalized discipline turned the Dai, traditionally regarded by Han people as a marginal group living within a dangerous land of zhangqi (tropical miasma), into an ethnographic subject. From Ling Chunsheng’s vision of environmental modification and medical advancement as a twofold project to engineer a new landscape and a new people, to Tian Rukang’s cultural critique that imagined the way of life of Dai people as an antidote for modernity, this article examines early Chinese anthropological discourses on the Dai people and their lived environment. I investigate how technological and epistemological changes fundamentally reshaped the meaning of tropical landscapes in China, a multi-ethnic country of a vast and diverse territory struggling to rejuvenate within a new global order, and I ponder the symbolic and material consequences of this recent history.

Yunnan is a multiethnic province in southwest China, rich in Materia medica resources, and is popularly known as the kingdom of plants. Biomedicine and public health industry have been the industrial pillars of Yunnan since 2016, which is the important pharmaceutical industrial base for Dai and Yi medicine in China. This review of the Yunnan ethnic medicine industry describes some of the problems to be solved in the development of sustainable ethnomedicine in China. We investigated Chinese patent medicines (CPMs) declared as ethnomedicine on the drug instructions and identified 28 Dai patent medicines (DPMs) and 73 Yi patent medicines (YPMs) that were approved for clinical use in China. In further research, the clinical indications of these CPMs were determined, and the quality standard of medicinal materials and their usage frequencies in DPMs and YPMs were investigated. We also collected and analyzed the data on use of botanical and animal sources of medicines, the rare and endangered medicinal materials, and toxic medicines in DPMs and YPMs. The application of zootherapy in Yi traditional medicine was introduced from its abundant ancient documents and records; based on the “YaGei” theory in Dai traditional medicine, toxic medicines can be relatively safe in DPMs. However, for promoting the Yunnan traditional medicine industry, it is necessary to strengthen medical research to expand evidence-based clinical practice and balance ethnomedicine production and sustainable utilization of Materia medica resources, especially the animal sources of medicines, toxic medicines, and the protected wild resources reported in this survey. Only in this way can industrialization of ethnomedicine promote the improvement of human health.

Abstract This article elaborates on the unmaking of the peasant classes among the tu er dai 土二代 (peasant landlords), with a particular focus on their claims to contested wealth through rent-seeking and other accumulative practices in Guangzhou's urban villages. E. P. Thompson's classic text, The Making of the English Working Class (1963), demonstrates the formation of class consciousness as historically embedded within cultural meanings, qualitative conditions of industrialization, and agency of the working people. The case of the tu er dai, however, lays bare how the historical unmaking of the Maoist peasant classes entails the emaciation of rural populations, as Yan Hairong has described, through the intensified extraction and exploitation of the migrant classes. The tu er dai is a place-based group of former peasants who have quickly elevated to the rentier class thanks to their collective possession of use rights to village land. By remaining suspended between the spatial and subjective designations of the rural and the urban, village members find themselves strategically stalling negotiations with the municipal government in the selling of their use rights via the corporate lineage. Meanwhile, they intensify the predatory extraction of rent and fees from migrant laborers so as to navigate the dilemmas associated with state-endorsed projects of displacement and development. The seemingly paradoxical identifications of the peasant landlords as both rural and urban citizens, though not wholly one or the other, cast light on their patchy, place-based strategies of accumulation, as they increasingly sever their sources of livelihood from their collective land and become incorporated into the urban core.

[New hybrid conjugate gradient and broyden-fletcher-goldfarbshanno conjugate gradient methods, J. Optim. Theory Appl. 178 (2018), no. 3, 860–884] for unconstrained optimization problems to solve convex constrained monotone nonlinear equations. The proposed method does not require Jacobian information. Under monotonicity and Lipschitz continuity assumptions, the global convergence properties of the proposed method are established. Computational experiments indicate that the proposed method is computationally efficient. Furthermore, the proposed method is applied to solve the ℓ 1 {\ell }_{1} -norm regularized problems to decode sparse signals and images in compressive sensing.

From the empirical viewpoint, the Expectation Hypothesis Theory (EHT) of the term structure of interest rates has been extensively tested and rejected for US term structure data. Dai and Singleton [6] show that under the settings of Affine term structure models it is possible that one matches both the historical term structure dynamics and capture an important stylized fact that have contradicted the EHT: Time-varying risk premia. In emerging markets, economic conditions tend to be much less stable than in developed markets. For this reason, if risk premia is dynamic in such markets, intuition would suggest that it is more volatile than in developed markets, implying a stronger statistical rejection of the EHT. In this paper, we verify the robustness of Dai and Singleton's results under these more extreme market conditions. We estimate an arbitrage free Affine Gaussian model for the term structure of swaps in the Brazilian market. We propose an extensive empirical analysis which consists on: defining the optimal number of factors to be used in the model, estimating the model, giving interpretation to the state variables in terms of risk factors, and studying the model implied risk premia. In the end, we propose an application for risk management of interest rates futures portfolios.

La maggior parte della critica che si è finora occupata del romanzo di Antonio Tabucchi, Sostiene Pereira, si è concentrata sullo sviluppo del protagonista da una posizione iniziale di non-impegno ad una di consapevolezza del proprio ruolo di intellettuale. Ciò che la critica non ha ancora esplorato pienamente, tuttavia, è un aspetto cruciale per comprendere più in profondità la presa di coscienza di Pereira: la sua attività di traduttore. Quando viene menzionata, tale attività è semmai associata alla sua sfuggente personalità iniziale. Eppure, il potenziale di Pereira come coraggioso fautore di cambiamento emerge già dagli autori e dai brani da tradurre che seleziona per il giornale al quale lavora, e dall'evoluzione del suo atteggiamento verso l’arte della traduzione. Prendendo spunto dai concetti di libertà e responsabilità propri dell’esistenzialismo, da testi teorici sull’etica della traduzione, da un’analisi testuale di Sostiene Pereira e dalle dichiarazioni di Tabucchi stesso sulla traduzione e sul ruolo dell’intellettuale, questo saggio intende mostrare non solo come le scelte di Pereira traduttore testimonino la sua crescita come intellettuale responsabile e persino come eroe, ma anche come la traduzione stessa costituisca il perno su cui s’incentra l’intero romanzo.

摘要清代乾嘉時期之學風係以考證知名。之所以如此,主要由於乾嘉學者不滿宋、明學者以哲學思辯之方式研究儒學典籍,而未能把握原始儒學之真貌,故轉而以考證之方式來研究儒家之原典,其目的在於欲恢復原始儒學之真貌。在乾嘉時期,戴震雖被視為最重要之考證學者之一,然戴氏為學之旨趣,實超出考證學之外,而欲以之作為彰顯儒學原貌之方法學。戴氏明言,其為學之方法乃是一語言學或訓詁之方法,亦即欲以訓詁之方法來研究哲學之問題,以之作為彰顯原始儒學真相之最佳方法,並由此建立其考證哲學,其目的即欲以本身之哲學來取代宋、明理學。依此,本文旨在探究戴震在重建原始儒學之努力,並針對戴氏之考證哲學作一反思,以明其價值及限制。關鍵詞:考證學、復古主義、理學、漢學、考證哲學Dai Zhen was known as a leading proponent of the evidential research (kaozheng) school during the Qian Jia Era. However, he regarded kaozheng as primarily a means of revealing the truth. Moreover, he was regarded as a philosopher rather than as merely a kaozheng, or textual, scholar. In this respect, his philosophical writings reflect an attempt to substitute his own philosophy for the Song Philosophy of Principle (lixue). Dai Zhen’s philosophical writings indicate the impact philology had on philosophical issues. The methodology Dai Zhen adopted was essentially linguistic, that is, xungu (etymology, lit., “glossing”). The merit of this methodology was that it would trace back the original meanings of key terms in the Classics, and this in turn, would benefit the understanding of the Confucian tradition. The aim of this paper is to explore Dai Zhen’s attempt to reconstruct the Confucian tradition, and to assess his philosophy of evidential research in order to manifest its value and limitation.

Negli anni ‘30 del Novecento nasce nell’Italia Meridionale un movimento culturale ctonio che, operando al di sotto della censura fascista, tenta di restituire all’arte la libertà di espressione – e ispirazione – necessaria a rappresentare la nuova realtà delle cose. Così, nella clandestinità che il momento storico imponeva, si sviluppa una vera e propria avanguardia (testimoniata dal manifesto dell’U.D.A.) orientata verso una nuova forma di realismo ben distante dalle formule canonizzate della retorica naturalistica. Spinti dalla volontà di fondare una nuova arte che riacquisti il rapporto dialettico con il reale e affascinati dal pensiero materialistico, i circumvisionisti, collegandosi alla situazione sociale meridionale e ai grandi eventi della vita contemporanea, elaboravano, come un magma germinativo, gli studi sulla nuova “grammatica della visione” (Maria Corti Principi della comunicazione letteraria), volti a fornire una precisa descrizione della realtà emersa a ridosso della Liberazione. Quanto più profonde si fanno le ricerche nel terreno culturale della clandestinità e quanto più diventano aderenti i percorsi critici alla rete di passaggi sotterranei, tanto più risulta essere opportuno soffermarsi sulla mostra di Capri nel 1928 del primo circumvisionismo, sul manifesto Uda del 1929 di Carlo Bernari, Paolo Ricci e Guglielmo Pierce come punto di partenza del primo neorealismo napoletano, al fine di delineare una macrocategoria estetica (come preciserà Bernari) non ancora cristallizzata in una vera e propria etichetta, ma aperta alle sperimentazioni avanguardistiche europee.
