Abstract:
This research aims at examining the effects of customer relationship management (CRM) and electronic CRM (e-CRM) on banks performance in Jordan using structural equation modelling. Two structural models, I, and II are developed. Fourteen reputable Jordanian banks are selected. Results of Model I show that: (1) internet service function and customer support have significant influence on relationship management (RM), (2) marketing support function has insignificant influence on RM, which indicates, and (3) RM has positive influence on business performance; learning and growth, customer satisfaction, internal process, and financial perspective. Results of Model II reveal that: (1) the e-CRM significantly influences customer based-service attributes, (2) the e-CRM directly related with relationship quality (RQ), and indirectly affects RQ through customer based-service attributes, (3) RQ significantly influences customer lifetime value (CLV). In conclusions, although Jordanian banks should direct more marketing support to enable customer communicate with banks using e-CRM in a fast, easy and efficient way.

Abstract:
This study aims to examine customer retention (CR) from the aspect of customer satisfaction with customer relationship management (CRM), service quality and marketing relations (RM). State-owned bank customers selected the research population in all branch offices in the Madura region, and data were collected through a Likert scale model questionnaire. The results of the path analysis using the structural analysis model (SEM) show that there is an influence of CRM on customer satisfaction; there is an effect of service quality on customer satisfaction; there is an effect of RM on customer satisfaction; CRM through customer satisfaction affects CR; service quality through customer satisfaction affects CR; RM through customer satisfaction affects CR; there is an effect of customer satisfaction on CR on customers. Then the simultaneous test shows that simultaneously RM, service quality, and RM impact customer satisfaction, and the value of coefficient of determination (R-Square) explains that CRM, service quality, and RM can effectively contribute to customer satisfaction. Simultaneously, CRM, service quality, and RM affect CR. CRM, service quality, and RM affect CR mediated by customer satisfaction. CRM, service quality, and RM, through customer satisfaction, can effectively contribute to CR to customers of state-owned bank Regional Offices.

Abstract:
Background The prognostic effect of resection margin status following pancreatoduodenectomy for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) remains controversial, even with the implementation of standardized pathological assessment. We therefore investigated the impact of resection margin (RM) status and RM distance in curative resected PDAC on overall survival (OS), disease-free survival (DFS) and recurrence. Method 108 patients were retrieved from a prospectively maintained database of a certified pancreatic cancer center. Distribution and relationships between circumferential resection margin (CRM) involvement (CRM≤1mm; CRM>1mm; CRM≥2mm) and their prognostic impact on OS and DFS were assessed using Kaplan-Meier statistics and the Log-Rank test. Multivariate logistic regression was used explain the development of a recurrence 12 months after surgery. Results 63 out of 108 patients had medial RM and 32 posterior RM involvement. There was no significant difference in OS and DFS between CRM≤1mm and CRM>1mm resections. Clearance at the medial margin of ≥2mm had an impact on OS and DFS, (RM≥2mm vs. RM<2mm: median OS 29.8 vs 16.8 months, median DFS 19.6 vs. 10.3 months). Multivariate analysis demonstrated that age, medial RM ≥2mm, lymph node status and chemotherapy were prognostic factors for OS and DFS. Posterior RM had no influence on OS or DFS. Conclusion Not all RM seem to have the same impact on OS and DFS, and a clearance of 1mm for definition of a negative RM (i.e. CRM>1mm) seems not sufficient. Future studies should include more patients to stratify for potential confounders we could not account for. Abstract:
The development of microbiological reference materials (RMs) has succesfully led to the certification of six materials (CRMs) and to the production of a wider range of non-certified reference materials. Both materials (RM and CRM) are prepared in the same way. They consist of gelatin capsules filled with milk powder artificially contaminated with a selected test strain. The difference between an RM and a CRM is the degree of control of the materials. Because of this difference the RMs and CRMs differ largely in price and application. An RM is intended to be used in daily quality control (QC) of microbiological (routine) analysis. For this purpose the use of a control chart can be very useful. A CRM is intended to be used incidentally, e.g. for validation of a (new) method, or for a complete check of the performance of the laboratory and technicians. The certified value of a microbiological CRM is method dependent. A user of a CRM will compare their mean results with the given certified value and confidence limits. With a so-called power calculation technique the optimal number of capsules and replicates for a CRM were calculated.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this study is to understand how and to what extent Hong Kong hotels have integrated customer relationship management (CRM) into their revenue management (RM) practices at individual customer level. Method Semi-structured interviews were used to gather information from experienced interviewees holding hotel RM- and marketing-related executive positions. In total, 11 revenue and 9 marketing executives were interviewed in 2016-2017 over a period of 13 weeks. The data were transcribed and then Nvivo was used for data organization and analysis. Findings The hotels do not systematically segment customers by value because of restraints on the RM systems’ capabilities and the industry’s conventional segmentations. The revenue and marketing executives’ attitudes toward integration, IT system infrastructure support to enable integration, loyalty and membership programs as a means for integration and executive management level support for integration influence the hotel’s potential for RM and CRM integration. Research Limitations/implications Only the perspectives of revenue and marketing executives were considered. Incorporating the insights of different parties may achieve a more comprehensive result. In addition, because it seems that there is no systematic RM and CRM integration within the Hong Kong hotel industry, relevant decision-makers’ opinions toward the practice may change once they evaluate the performance of the pioneering practitioner. Originality This study reveals what has been done in practice to integrate RM and CRM compared with the theoretical approach, proposes an integration framework and discusses the potential for further development together with the challenges to integration.

Abstract:
The article provides information on the development of a new reference material (RM) for the composition of a solution of six priority phthalates (dimethyl phthalate, diethyl phthalate, di(n-butyl) phthalate, benzyl butyl phthalate, bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, di(n-octyl) phthalate) in methanol provided with metrological traceability to GET 208-2019 (GET 208). The procedure for the preparation and certification of RMs is shown, including the estimation of homogeneity and stability. Pure organic substances (phthalates) characterized on GET 208 were used as the starting material for the RM. The RM material was prepared by weight and volume-weight methods. The stability study of the RM was carried out by the isochronous procedure. The RM certified values are the mass fraction and mass concentration of individual phthalates in the solution. When calculating the uncertainty budget for RM certified values, contributions from the purity of the starting materials, RM preparation procedures, heterogeneity, and long-term instability were taken into account. The relative expanded uncertainty of the certified values does not exceed 2 %. As a result, a certified reference material (CRM) was developed and approvedfor the composition of a solution of ortho-phthalic acid esters (phthalates) in methanol GSO 11366-2019. The practical significance of the application of GSO 11366-2019 is to ensure the metrological traceability of RM to the corresponding SI units reproduced on GET 208. The developed CRM can be applied in resolving any measuring tasks and performing a full range of metrological works.

Abstract:
Abstract Spectroscopic reverberation mapping (RM) is a direct approach widely used to determine the mass of black holes (BHs) in active galactic nuclei (AGNs). However, it is very time consuming and difficult to apply to a large AGN sample. The empirical relation between the broad-line region size and luminosity (Hβ R BLR–L) provides a practical alternative yet is subject to large scatter and systematic bias. Based on the relation between the continuum emitting region size and luminosity (R CER–L) reported by Netzer (2022), we present a new BH mass estimator via continuum RM (CRM) by comparing R CER and R BLR, assuming that the continuum lags are dominated by the diffuse continuum emission. Using a sample of 21 AGNs, we find a tight R BLR–R CER relation (scatter∼0.28 dex) and that R BLR is larger than R CER at 5100 Å by an average factor of 8.1. This tight relation enables the BH mass estimation based on the CRM combined with the velocity information. Applying the relation to rest objects in our CRM sample, we demonstrate that the predicted R BLR,CRM follows the existing Hβ R BLR–L relation well and the estimated CRM BH masses are consistent with the RM/single-epoch BH masses using Hβ. This method will provide significant applications for BH mass estimation thanks to the short continuum lags and the easily accessible high-cadence, large-area photometric data, especially in the era of Legacy Survey of Space and Time.

Abstract:
RM (Relationship Marketing) and CL (Customer Loyalty) have attracted a great deal of academic and professional attention over the past few decades. RM became a key trend in the marketing and management industries. Mobile communications networks have been a prominent infrastructure driving substantial economic growth in developing countries like Nepal. This study investigated CRM (Customer Relationship Marketing) and CL in the telecommunication industry in Nepal. A descriptive and causal-comparative research design has been adopted for this study as it seeks to identify the key variables of CRM and CL in the telecommunication industry in Nepal. Using survey methods, structured questionnaires with a five-point Likert scale on each dependent and independent variable were administered to obtain responses from mobile users. In this study, quantitative techniques have been used to analyze primary data collected through a survey. This study found a positive relationship between CL and its variables trust, communication, commitment, and conflict handling. Trust and commitment were the primary factors of CL in RM in the Nepalese telecom industry, with varied effects according to the measures of CL.

Abstract:
This paper introduces a novel approach for contour-based shape matching named as Constructive Relaxation Matching (CRM). Relaxation Matching (RM) introduced by Rosenfeld et al. is one of the standard method for quasi-optimally solving the local correspondences of the template and input images. RM relies on an energy-minimizing nature of the dynamical system to update the label assignment to the input objects. In image matching relying on a particular modeling method, apparently similar images can be judged as being quite distant, according to the nature of the modeling process and its outcome. In the proposed CRM, the modeling stage of a novel input image contour, conventionally done in the same procedure used for modeling the templates, will be included in the procedure of iterative relaxation matching. The model of the input will be dynamically constructed during relaxation, by unifying the pairs of objects having similar template label assignment probabilities. After describing the CRM procedures, the method is applied to simple shape matching problems demonstrating the ability to adaptively model the input image during relaxation. It is shown that the proposed CRM improves the object-label correspondence for evaluation of the image similarities in the following stages of shape matching applications.

AbstractIn [13], M. Tokarz specified some infinite family of consequence operations among all ones associated with the relevant logic RM or with the extensions of RM and proved that each of them admits a deduction theorem scheme. In this paper, we show that the family is complete in a sense that if C is a consequence operation with CRM ≤ C and C admits a deduction theorem scheme, then C is equal to a consequence operation specified in [13]. In algebraic terms, this means that the only quasivarieties of Sugihara algebras with the relative congruence extension property are the quasivarieties corresponding, via the algebraization process, to the consequence operations specified in [13].

Abstract:
The analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) or repeated measures (RM) models are often used to compare the treatment effect between different arms in pre-post randomized studies. ANCOVA adjusts the baseline score as a covariate in regression models. RM treats both the baseline and post-randomization scores as outcome variables. We aim to establish the underlying connections between ANCOVA and a constrained RM (“cRM”). We start with the interrelated concepts in a pre-post randomized designs: homogeneous vs. heterogeneous study populations, the marginal vs. the conditional treatment effect, and homogeneity vs. heterogeneity of treatment effect. We then demonstrate the asymptotic equivalence between the ANCOVA and cRM estimators for the marginal treatment effect and discuss the conditions under which ANCOVA needs to include a baseline score by treatment interaction term. In particular, an ANCOVA interaction model with a mean centered baseline score can assess both the marginal treatment effect and the heterogeneity in the conditional treatment effect. However, the ordinary least squares (OLS)-based inference is not valid for unconditional inference because this interaction model typically has heteroskedastic errors, and ordinary least squares treats the sample mean of the baseline score as a known parameter. We propose a bootstrap and a heteroskedasticity consistent variance estimator for heteroskedastic ANCOVA. Our simulation studies demonstrate that the proposed methods provide valid inferences for testing both the marginal treatment effect and the heterogeneity of treatment effect using an ANCOVA interaction model. We used an acupuncture headache trial to elucidate the proposed approaches.

Abstract:
Abstract BACKGROUND Measurement standardization of the catalytic concentration of α-amylase in serum is based on 3 pillars: the primary reference measurement procedure (PRMP), reference laboratories, and suitable certified reference materials (CRMs). Commutability is a prerequisite when using a CRM for calibration and trueness control of routine methods or for value transfer from the PRMP to end-user calibrators of routine methods through a calibration hierarchy. METHODS We performed a commutability study with 30 serum pools and 5 candidate reference materials (RMs) for pancreatic α-amylase using an automated version of the PRMP and 5 different routine methods. Four candidate RMs had an artificial matrix, each with a different composition, and 1 candidate RM was based on human serum. Data were analyzed according to a linear regression analysis with prediction interval as described in the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute guideline EP30-A and a difference in bias analysis as described in the recommendations of the IFCC Working Group on Commutability. RESULTS The commutability profile of the 4 candidate RMs with an artificial matrix was variable. Only 1 candidate RM, with human serum albumin in the matrix, showed a good profile like that of the candidate RM based on serum. The comparison of both commutability assessment approaches indicated some differences because of inconclusive results for the difference in bias approach, suggesting a large uncertainty on the commutability assessment. CONCLUSIONS A CRM for pancreatic amylase in an artificial matrix can be commutable for routine methods using the same substrate as the PRMP, but the matrix composition is crucial.

Abstract:
Both contracts and contractual relationships as concepts have been rarely discussed from scholars’ perfectives in the Relationship Marketing (RM) branch of learning. Reviewing these concepts in the customer-service sector adds value because the majority of mobile service firms are losing their current contracted customers at a significant rate despite practicing different RM activities to retain active ones. Thus, this study introduces the concept of Contractual Customer Relationship Marketing (C-CRM) for the first time to the RM field of study and discusses how to employ Contractual Relationship Marketing (C-RM) especially in the use of contractual bonds to establish, maintain and extend customer-supplier relationships. This study targets various issues that are interrelated to the use of contracts to maintain and retain valuable customers in the mobile service sector. To explore these issues, this paper focuses on extending an understanding of contracts and their use in the contractual customer-supplier relationships. This requires an overview of the study’s topic in section one, with section two outlining the study’s importance. Section three provides an overview of the contract meaning and section four explaining the main benefits of using business contracts. Section five discusses the importance of using contracts for customer retention, then section six considers the contractual use in renewable situations, section seven reviews the relationship between contract use and customer switching, section eight explains how to employ contracts in prolonging customer-supplier relationships, and, finally, the concluding remarks are made in section nine.

Abstract:
To date, antibiotics are often used in the treatment of infectious diseases in medicine and veterinary medicine, as well as growth promoters in animal husbandry. The uncontrolled use of antibiotics leads to antibiotic residues in food products that are easily transmitted to humans through food chains. Due to these undesirable effects, as well as in connection with the circulation of substandard and counterfeit medicinal products, it is necessary to control the quality of medicinal products, as well as monitor the food safety of animal products by determining the content of drug residues using reference materials (RMs).The aim of this research was to develop a CRM for the composition of tylosin tartrate. In the course of the research, a method for preparing the initial RM was tested and successfully implemented, a critical analysis of methods for measuring the content of tylosin tartrate was carried out, and the choice of the HPLC method as the main method for quantitative determination of the certified value of the measured quantity (mass fraction of tylosin) was justified. The disadvantages of the microbiological method and the titrimetry method as alternative methods were shown. In accordance with RMG 93–2015 and GOST ISO Guide 35–2015, the standard uncertainty of the RM certified value from the characterization method, heterogeneity and instability of the material was estimated. The expanded uncertainty of the certified value was calculated. The result of the work performed was the approval of a new type of the CRM for the composition of tylosin tartrate GSO 11632 2020.Normalized metrological characteristics: the mass fraction of tylosin is 800–1100 µg/mg, the relative expanded uncertainty at k = 2, P= 0.95 is 6%. The CRM is stored in sealed ampoules separately from food and feed in a dry and dark place at a temperature from plus 4 °C to minus 18 °C, the shelf life of the CRM is 4 years. The practical significance of the results obtained makes it possible to expand the possibility of certification of measurement methods and control of the accuracy of the measurement results of the mass fraction of tylosin in veterinary medicinal products, food and food raw materials, animal feed, and environmental objects. The CRM can also be used to identify tylosin in medicinal products and to determine the susceptibility of pathogens to tylosin.

Abstract:
Methods for modification red mud (RM) by treatment with hydrochloric acid and by carbonization to obtain sorption materials for extracting metals from acidic solutions are proposed. Modification of the RM by carbonation increases the area and volume of pores in the carbonized red mud (CRM), that leads to a higher sorption capacity up to 246 mg/g with simultaneously neutralization of the copper solution from 1,5 to 4,5 pH . The acid treatment leads to less positive effects on the extraction of copper. The sorption kinetics is described by both pseudo-first-order (R >0 ,96) and pseudo-second-order (R > 0,98) equations, which determine the equivalent contributions to the overall speed of the process of the mass transfer and the ion interaction stages. A mechanism was studied and it was found that surface diffusion processes at the «solid-liquid» interface turn into the mass transfer of Cu ions and chemical interaction with functional groups on the surface and inside the particles of modified muds. For the initial mud, these processes are almost equivalent. Desorption of copper with water and a solution of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) has shown that the strength of bonds in the structure of CRM- Cu and the stability of surface triple complexes Cu -EDTA-CRM are higher than for Cu -EDTA-RM. The potential have been demonstrated of creating sorption materials by used industrial waste, in particular alkaline red slurries, and their applications for the absorption of toxic metals from acidic wastewater for mutual neutralization and utilization of industrial waste from metallurgical industries - solid, gaseous and liquid.

Abstract:
Abstract A new method was developed for total arsenic determination in seafood products such as oysters, mussels, tuna fish, and algae. Matrix decomposition and oxidation to arsenate of all the arsenic compounds in the product were completed in 25 min by using a 3-step program of focused microwaves (40–120 W) with nitric and sulfuric acids. Quantitation was performed by hydride generation-atomic fluorescence detection (HG–AFS). Results of method optimization are presented and discussed. A detection limit <125 μg/kg arsenic was obtained; the quantitation limit was close to 400 μg/kg, with repeatability and reproducibility <5% relative standard deviation. Validation was performed by analyzing 4Reference Materials (arsenic concentration expressed as mg/kg): The National Institute of Standards and Technology SRM 1566a Oyster tissue (14.0 ± 1.2); the Bureau Community of Reference (now Standard Measurements & Testing Program) CRM 278 Mussel tissue (5.9 ± 0.2) and CRM 627 Tuna fish (4.8 ± 0.3); and the International Atomic Energy Agency RM 140 Fucus sample (44.3 ± 2.1).

Abstract:
Human immunoglobulin and human albumin products can negatively affect patients’ health. The residual content of haemagglutinins, anti-D antibodies, prekallikrein activator, as well as the level of anticomplementary activity, are controlled during both production and testing for compliance with normative documentation. Methods for their quantitative evaluation are based on the effects of erythrocytes hemolysis or agglutination and on the amidolytic product properties of cascade reactions. These methods require the obligatory use of reference materials (RMs). The development of RMs, acting as the carrier of the quantitative characteristics of the human immunoglobulins and human albumin impurities, is fraught with the difficulty of selecting a candidate, substantiating the certification methodology, and determining the relevant characteristics. In this research, we used human immunoglobulin solutions with normalized haemagglutinin content, anti-D antibodies or anti-complementary activity in a different range, whose quality was studied using haemagglutination and chromogenic methods, and the complement fixation test. Methodological approaches to the RM development and certification were justified using system analysis and forensic audit methods. The results demonstrate the necessity of using RMs to assess the stability of analytical work by applying anti-complementary activity determination, haemagglutinin content or anti-Dantibody methods. It is established that RMs allow the quantitative content of haemagglutinins, anti-D antibodies and prekallikrein activator to be established. The value of the CRM characteristics should be approximated to the qualitative composition of these impurities in the analysed products, but in amounts not detectable (to produce negative RM components) or exceeding permissible maxima (to produce positive RM components).

Abstract:
Radical prostatectomy (RP) is the main treatment of prostate cancer (PCa). Biochemical recurrence (BCR) following RP remains the first sign of aggressive disease; hence, better assessment of potential long-term post-RP BCR-free survival is crucial. Our study aimed to evaluate a combined clinical-deep learning (DL) model using multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI) for predicting long-term post-RP BCR-free survival in PCa. A total of 437 patients with PCa who underwent mpMRI followed by RP between 2008 and 2009 were enrolled; radiomics features were extracted from T2-weighted imaging, apparent diffusion coefficient maps, and contrast-enhanced sequences by manually delineating the index tumors. Deep features from the same set of imaging were extracted using a deep neural network based on pretrained EfficentNet-B0. Here, we present a clinical model (six clinical variables), radiomics model, DL model (DLM-Deep feature), combined clinical–radiomics model (CRM-Multi), and combined clinical–DL model (CDLM-Deep feature) that were built using Cox models regularized with the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator. We compared their prognostic performances using stratified fivefold cross-validation. In a median follow-up of 61 months, 110/437 patients experienced BCR. CDLM-Deep feature achieved the best performance (hazard ratio [HR] = 7.72), followed by DLM-Deep feature (HR = 4.37) or RM-Multi (HR = 2.67). CRM-Multi performed moderately. Our results confirm the superior performance of our mpMRI-derived DL algorithm over conventional radiomics.

Abstract:
Banks are exposed to five core risks through their operation, which are – credit risk, asset/liability risk, foreign exchange risk, internal control & compliance risk, and money laundering risk. Among these risks management of credit risk gets most attention. Credit risk arises due to the possibility that the borrower may fail to repay the loan. Following the recent global financial crisis, which originated from poor management of credit risk, credit risk is the most discussed topic in banking industry. All commercial banks operating in Bangladesh are strictly regulated by Bangladesh Bank. Bangladesh Bank has provided a guideline for credit risk management. All banks try to comply with that guideline. Jamuna bank is no exception of this practice. JBL has segregated the credit related activities. Marketing, preparation of credit proposal, other documentation, credit disbursement, credit monitoring etc are done at branch level. Credit administration and credit risk management related works are done at head office. At branch level, branch managers act as Relationship Manager (RM) to explore/find new business opportunities. If a new business is located he informs Head of Corporate Division using a call report. Corporate Division shall examine the call reports and communicate their initial views to the Branch about the proposed business. If the views are positive, HO will direct the concerned RM to send a complete business proposal to Corporate Division. Then the Branch submits complete proposal to H.O. CRM examines the proposal from different angles of risk and compliance and communicate their views. Then the proposal is sent to credit review committee by corporate division. CRM simply presents their observations. Credit Review Committee provides their views about the proposal which has to be approved by the M.D. corporate division may amend/change their proposal according to the recommendation of credit review committee. The Managing Director shall approve the facility if it is within power. If Board/EC approval is required, the Memo is to be signed by the Managing Director. After approval the CRM shall issue sanction advice enclosing documentation check list with a copy to credit Administration Division. When a party approaches JBL for a loan, a loan proposal is prepared at branch level, which includes credit risk assessment report, credit risk grading report besides recommended amount of loan that can be disbursed. This proposal is sent to the Head Office for approval. If Credit Administration Department of Head Office sanctions the proposal then the amount is disbursed to that party. Monitoring the loan after disbursement is the branch’s responsibility. All loan applicants are required to submit financial statements of past three years. Relevant financial performance indicators are put into a spreadsheet to assess the credit risk. JBL has a credit policy guideline which is in line with the guideline provided by Bangladesh Bank. Different weights are given to different factors like industry profitability, company size, debt burden ratio, previous loan performance etc.

Abstract:
Since the installation of the TRIGA MARK II reactors in the National Centre for Nuclear Energy, Science and Technology (CNESTEN), Neutron Activation Data Analysis software (NADA) for neutron activation analysis (NAA) based on the relative method was the first software used; Over the years, the neutron activation analysis laboratory has been seeking to develop other softwares based on k0-INAA standardization namely the K0-IAEA software and the k0 software for Windows. In this paper we will focus on the comparison between the performance of k0 software for Windows and NADA. We compared the results obtained by the NADA Software and k0 for windows for the same input parameters (sample mass, nuclear data, net peak area for the same gamma line and cooling measurement times). In the neutron activation analysis laboratory of the National Center for Nuclear Energy, Science and Technology (CNESTEN) we analysed several reference materials (RM) or certified reference materials (CRM) and WEPAL samples. In this analysis, only certified or recommended values were used to compare the two processes for the different elements.

Abstract:
To simplify the process for identifying 12 types of symmetric variables in the canonical Reed–Muller (CRM) algebra system, we propose a new symmetry detection algorithm based on AND-XOR expansion. By analyzing the relationships between the coefficient matrices of sub-functions and the order coefficient subset matrices based on AND-XOR expansion around two arbitrary logical variables, the constraint conditions of the order coefficient subset matrices are revealed for 12 types of symmetric variables. Based on the proposed constraints, the algorithm is realized by judging the order characteristic square value matrices. The proposed method avoids the complicated process for separating the AND–XOR expansion coefficients into different groups in the Reed–Muller transform methods and solves the problem of completeness in the RM type decomposition map method. The application results show that, compared with traditional methods the new algorithm is an optimal detection method in terms of applicability of the number of logical variables, detection types, and complexity of the identification process. The algorithm has been implemented in C language and tested on MCNC91 benchmarks. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is convenient and efficient.

Abstract:
In 2023, the Institute for Reference Materials will celebrate its 60th anniversary. The main stages of the development of the Institute, the results of activities during the past years are considered. The All-Union Institute for Standard Samples and Spectral Standards (VNIISO) was established in 1963 in Sverdlovsk. Yuri L. Pliner was appointed Director of the Institute, Deputy Director for Research — Vasily V Stepin. For the first 10 years, the institute has developed 225 reference materials (RM) of raw materials and materials for metallurgical production. Samples for the ferrous metals’ spectral analysis were developed especially rapidly, their number increased by 2.3 times. The Institute was transformed into ISO TsNIIchermet in 1974 and included in the Central Research Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy named by I. R Bardin. The branch system of CRMs created in the years ahead ensured the reliability of quality control of raw materials and products of the metallurgical complex. The duties of the Head Organization of the Metrological Service of the Ministry of Ferrous Metallurgy of the USSR for measurements of the chemical composition and standard samples were assigned to the institute in 1978. The system of metrological control (MK) was created and introduced into the practice of analytical laboratories at subsequent period (1978 - 1985). Metrological requirements for CRM, measurement methods certification and normatives for operational, internal and external analysis results quality control were established by ISO TsNIIchermeta. Verification of the implementation of MC in analytical laboratories of the metallurgical industry was carried out in the process of their metrological certification, which was carried out by the leading specialists of the institute since 1982. In 1992, the Institute was transformed into a JSC “The Institute for Certified Reference Materials” (ICRM). The Institute is accredited in accordance with the requirements of the International Standard ISO 17034 as a RM producer, in accordance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17043 as a proficiency provider. The testing analytical center of ICRM is accredited in accordance with GOST ISO/TEC 17025. The article presents the institute’s and its staff current state data.

Abstract:
The authors evaluated the possibility of using the luminometry method which allows checking the level of sanitation and hygiene in industries and is one of the most effective methods of «rapid microbiology». Such key stages of development of reference material for sodium adenosine triphosphate with the certified values as analysis of similar reference materials, selection of source material of the reference material, conducting experimental studies, and establishing the metrological characteristics of reference material with traceability to state primary measurement standard were provided in the paper. Considering that the selective optical density at the characteristic wavelength is directly proportional to the concentration of the absorbing component (sodium adenosine triphosphate), the stability of R M was studied by spectrophotometry. The stability of the RM material to assess the uncertainty of the measurement results was carried out by the isochronous method. The result of the study is the possibility of ensuring the traceability of measurement results based on luminescence to primary measurement standard by sodium adenosine triphosphate concentration. In addition to the above, the authors selected the optimal value of that concentration and established metrological properties for GSO 11606-2020 R M for the composition of sodium adenosine triphosphate aqueous solution (mass concentration: from 0,09 to 0,11 g/dm3; extended uncertainty: 0,015 g/dm3). Usage of this CRM in performing tests, calibrations, and verification of measuring instruments allows providing the unbiased assessment of the measuring capabilities of luminescent measuring instruments, including in terms of determining the error of the measurements carried out.

Abstract:

Abstract Objective: To assess the performance of the Ovarian-Adnexal Reporting and Data System Magnetic Resonance Imaging (O-RADS MRI) score in the evaluation of adnexal masses and to provide technical notes about its current MRI parameters and concepts. Materials and Methods: This was a prospective study of 226 patients with 287 adnexal masses (190 submitted to surgery or biopsy and 97 followed for at least one year). We calculated the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value for the O-RADS MRI score, using ≥ 4 as the cutoff for malignancy. We performed a technical analysis of the main updates to the score, announced in September 2020 by the American College of Radiology, in comparison with the original (2013) version. Results: We found that an O-RADS MRI score of 4 or 5 was associated with malignancy of an adnexal mass, with a sensitivity of 91.11% (95% CI: 83.23-96.08), specificity of 94.92% (95% CI: 90.86-97.54), positive predictive value of 89.13% (95% CI: 81.71-93.77), negative predictive value of 95.90% (95% CI: 92.34-97.84), and overall accuracy of 93.73% (95% CI: 90.27-96.24). Conclusion: Our findings support the use of the O-RADS MRI score for evaluating adnexal masses, especially those considered indeterminate on ultrasound. The updates made recently to the O-RADS MRI score facilitate its interpretation and will allow its more widespread use, with no loss of diagnostic accuracy.

Abstract:

Abstract:

FORMA DO ESTUDO: Corte transversal.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
ABSTRACT Recent searches for the hosts of z ∼ 4 damped Ly α absorbers (DLAs) have detected bright galaxies at distances of tens of kpc from the DLA. Using the FIRE-2 cosmological zoom simulations, we argue that these relatively large distances are due to a predominantly cool and neutral inner circumgalactic medium (CGM) surrounding high-redshift galaxies. The inner CGM is cool because of the short cooling time of hot gas in ${\lesssim}10^{12}\, {\rm M_{\odot }}$ haloes, which implies that accretion and feedback energy are radiated quickly, while it is neutral due to high volume densities and column densities at high redshift that shield cool gas from photoionization. Our analysis predicts large DLA covering factors (${\gtrsim}50{{\ \rm per\ cent}}$) out to impact parameters ∼0.3[(1 + z)/5]3/2Rvir from the central galaxies at z ≳ 1, equivalent to a proper distance of ${\sim}21\, M_{12}^{1/3} \left(\left(1+z\right)/5\right)^{1/2}\, {\rm kpc}$ (Rvir and M12 are the halo virial radius and mass in units of $10^{12}\, {\rm M_{\odot }}$, respectively). This implies that DLA covering factors at z ∼ 4 may be comparable to unity out to a distance ∼10 times larger than stellar half-mass radii. A predominantly neutral inner CGM in the early universe suggests that its mass and metallicity can be directly constrained by absorption surveys, without resorting to the large ionization corrections as required for ionized CGM.

A populaçãofinal incluiu 21 doentes.
