Abstract:
This paper discussed marriage and divorce counselling strategies. The objective of which is to demonstrate how counselling can maintain marital stability and avoid, minimize and manage the divorce and post-divorce crisis among couples. Marriage is a ‘give and take’ relationship which should be ‘till death do us apart’ affair. Some basic principles of marriage are approval of the couples, payment of bride prize and religious rites, and possible problems of divorce among couples include psychological, social and economic, and causes of divorce are poverty, promiscuity, poor feeding and infertility to mention but a few have been enumerated. Family Ecological Equilibrium Interaction, Family Cognitive Restructuring, Family Psychosocial Harmony Restoration and Group Crisis Intervention strategies were proposed as counselling strategies to increase family stability and mitigate divorce among couples.

Abstract:
At the annual conference of The American Psychiatric Association (APA) in Miami, there was a workshop entitled "Family Crisis". The results of a study said that in the last 30 years, 60% of families in the United States ended in divorce, and 70% of their children did not develop well, behave deviant or antisocial. For example seen juvenile delinquency, abuse of NAZA (Narcotics, Alcohol, and other Addictive Substances), promiscuity, deviant sexual behavior and so on. It was also stated that divorce rates are increasing, marriages are decreasing because many people choose to live together without marriage or single life and free sex. Disloyalty (abuse) among families in the US turned out not to be the monopoly of husbands alone, but 40% of the wives there were also involved in affair with third parties. Of the five marriages in the first five years, three divorces occurred. The author gives the purpose of writing to discuss the crisis in the household, rebuild the household and give Christian values in counteracting divorce. The author uses descriptive literature research method data and provides research results: How a harmonious family can be established dynamically if we base our family building on the basis of strong Christian spirituality values accompanied by a fabric of good communication between us and our children. Surprisingly few studies have explored the implications of divorce happened because family can not be established, especially in young adulthood. This study addresses several theoretical arguments linking divorce in the side of spiritual value with reduced religious involvement in young adulthood and tests relevant hypotheses using data from a unique sample. Results show that divorce in the side of spiritual value is associated with substantially lower communicate religious involvement among young adults in their families house.

Abstract:
Critiques of the trauma model for understanding the harms of sexual violence raise some important questions about the radical roots of Rape Crisis Centres in the UK and their relationship to the services offered, and funded, today. Drawing from a research conversation with three women from the national umbrella group Rape Crisis England and Wales, this article finds that in contrast to the depoliticised and individualised discourse of trauma, the original ethos of Rape Crisis in England sought to recognise the harms of rape across four interlocking dimensions: personal, cultural, social and structural. This approach demonstrates an understanding of the self as relational, situated and intersectional, aligning with recent philosophical work on sexual violence and suggesting the importance of key working practices that are in tension with the counselling model that currently dominates provision.

Abstract:
The family is a very important institution that provides relationships and contexts in which adolescents are included and where the trajectory of positive development can be activated. A family crisis can affect family functioning and endanger adolescent development. Therefore, we aimed to explore the association of crisis in the family with positive youth development (PYD), and further, whether adolescent-perceived family functioning mediates or moderates this relation. The sample consisted of Slovak adolescents (N = 341, 44% boys, mean age = 13.16) who completed questionnaires that included questions on family crisis and joint family activities, the Alabama parenting questionnaire and the Very Short PYD questionnaire in the baseline measurement of the Care4Youth cohort study. We found a positive association of perceived positive parenting (B = 0.51; p < 0.001) and family activities (B = 0.50; p < 0.001) with PYD, whereas crisis in the family (B = −0.42; p = 0.01) and perceived poor supervision (B = −0.30; p < 0.001) were negatively associated with PYD. Using serial mediation model, we found following pathway which connected crisis in the family with PYD: crisis in the family → perceived poor parental supervision → joint family activities → PYD. This implies that family interventions and counselling to support parenting skills, especially parental supervision and family activities, to those with the signs of an ongoing family crisis may help to counteract the negative effect of the family crisis on PYD.

Abstract:
As the fear of mortality struck humanity, a new age dawned in the relational styles, processes, and interactions amongst people. COVID-19 has caused a major shift in the educational landscape. While most teaching and learning activities moved online, field placement units which are fully invested in industry engagement, and once highly sought, came to a dramatic pause. For students, this produced uncertainty around completion of their degrees and for institutions who became entangled in the changing requirements of accrediting bodies as they grappled with the changing landscape. Our final year counselling and psychotherapy students on placement were instructed to retreat from their placements while some ‘lucky few’ joined the drifting warriors working from the safety of their homes with their assigned agencies. Crisis and contemporary times call for openness and innovation grounded in practical wisdom. But the tyranny of COVID-19 times highlighted a growing gap between professional standards and community realities. This paper alludes to the struggles of counselling postgraduate University students on placement who are caught up in the mismatch between professional standards of accreditation bodies and the emerging community expectations and practices. It draws on literature to highlight the impact of historic controversial discourses involving online counselling and face-to-face counselling on current practices. This paper aims to reflect on lessons dispensed by COVID-19 to the professional bodies and universities in order to work together in creating innovative, non-placement workintegrated learning (WIL) practices that reflect the realities within the current landscape.

Abstract:
Background: We describe the development of a theory of change for community mobilisation activities to prevent violence against women and girls. These activities are part of a broader program in urban India that works toward primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention of violence and includes crisis response and counselling and medical, police, and legal assistance. Methods: The theory of change was developed in five phases, via expert workshops, use of primary data, recurrent team meetings, adjustment at further meetings and workshops, and a review of published theories. Results: The theory summarises inputs for primary and secondary prevention, consequent changes (positive and negative), and outcomes. It is fully adapted to the program context, was designed through an extended consultative process, emphasises secondary prevention as a pathway to primary prevention, and integrates community activism with referral and counselling interventions. Conclusions: The theory specifies testable causal pathways to impact and will be evaluated in a controlled trial.

Abstract:
The idea of respite care is of recent origin, having come about largely as a result of the deinstitutionalization movement of the 1960's and 70's.Before that time, it was generally not expected that families keep a disabled member at home: and there is considerable evidence to show that those families who chose to do so, were expected to cope with the consequences on their own. No-one asked how they did it; and only the provision of crisis orientated counselling indicated that care providers recognized that these families might sometimes have hardships.

Abstract:
In all the EU countries and Latvia, the health care impact during the Covid-19 outbreak was one of the first priorities. Meanwhile, less attention was paid to the social service burden, especially in social work with families and children, elderly and other social groups in the most vulnerable situations. New social measures were introduced from the very beginning of the emergency situation, and a crisis benefit was initiated for families and children at the local level. Social workers had to adjust their practice to more flexible, remote and transformed social service delivery. It required specific personal protective equipment (PPE) and new forms of communication channels with families in need and new risk groups. The analysis of correlation between the Covid-19 estimated cases and the social crisis benefit provided during the emergency was performed with a regression model by using the SPSS statistical and mathematical program. It is a starting point for the research on how the social measures introduced in the emergency were allocated. The evidence about the communication and inter-disciplinary experiences was obtained via the analysis of open-ended interviews with social workers and experts. The preliminary results demonstrate the importance of the work alleviating impacts from the national to local level with inter-disciplinary professional teamwork solutions and adaptability in social work practice.

Abstract:
The further development of prenatal diagnosis has led to changes in the care for pregnant women. Also, pregnant women nowadays experience pregnancy in a way very different from that a few decades ago. Despite of impressive medical progress, it is still not possible to have an therapeutic impact on all diseases of the foetus and the child. In particular, when a genetic disorder is diagnosed, the question arises whether or not the pregnancy should be continued. More often than not, women or couples, respectively, display a shock reaction following this disclosure. In the long run, psychological problems may evolve, regardless of the continuation of the pregnancy or its termination (abortion) on grounds of article 218a, 2 StGB (German Criminal Code) for medical reasons. For providing support to these women in crisis and for accompanying the decision-making process, psychosocial counselling has been established in three demonstration sites (Bonn, Düsseldorf and Essen). This counselling had been offered in addition to the medical counselling and has been performed in an unbiased manner, regardless of the denominational orientation of the responsible body. The assessment of 512 first-time counselling sessions as well as the accompanying two-year evaluation study show that this kind of counselling has been widely accepted by the affected women. There are striking arguments for establishing psychosocial counselling as a scheduled part of counselling in prenatal diagnosis.

Abstract:
Background: Perinatal loss is one of the most traumatic life events. It is indeed a great psychological and emotional shock to not only the mother and father but the entire family and society as a whole. The study aims to take physical and psychological care of mother and father, to help in bereavement process, to know the incidence and prevalence and etiological factors of perinatal loss and to study the outcome of psychological support to mother. Methods: It was a prospective analytical study. All patients with IUFD and early neonatal loss were studied. Postpartum both mother and father were counselled. Emotional reaction of both mother and father were recorded. A new ritual of giving the mother her baby (dead) was done to those who were willing for that. Results: The results showed that the incidence of IUFD was 3.7% and early neonatal death was 10.8% per total admissions. The perinatal mortality rate was 63.62 per 1000 live births. There were varied reactions of grief which could be handled by effective counselling. Seeing and holding the baby was associated with fewer anxiety and depressive symptoms than not doing so.Conclusions: Psychological counselling is very important. The patients are helped to cross over the crisis in their life and made them well prepared for next pregnancy. Counselling and communication skills should be routinely included in all residency programmes. Hospitals should have a separate place for mothers with perinatal loss which would help them to overcome their grief.

Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown to mitigate the spread of the pandemic has led to social isolation, reduced social support system and increased cases of domestic violence against women. The United Nations and other international and national agencies speculate further increase in it and have suggested governments to take appropriate action to safeguard the health and human rights of women. Many governments have also taken steps and working towards it by starting helpline and counselling services. This article reviews the concerns raised by these agencies, interventions introduced and its future implications. It also argues that apart from reported cases of domestic violence and its negative consequences on individuals and families, it would be interesting to study the positive impact of living together as this pandemic is different from other emergencies. The sociologist Marianne Hester argued that ‘domestic violence goes up whenever families spend more time together’. It would be interesting to study and examine it in the context of COVID-19 pandemic. This article also suggests the need for further research to understand the reason and dynamics of such violence considering men and women both are engaged in such violence against each other and bear its consequences together.

Abstract:
AbstractCongenital herat disease is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in the newborn. Its diagnosis may lead to a crisis in the affercted families; there are the percerived implications of having an abnormality of so vital on organ. To that may be added the assumed guilt or blame, grief and at times anger, frequently experienced by parents of abnormal infants. It often befalls the paediatric cardiologist to initiate counselling while providing the expert information concerning the abnormality and its optimum managementSuch counselling differs from that needed for minor lesions as compared for more complex abnormalities where a fatal outcome may ensure. While it is important to provide an accurate diagnosis and management plan to the parents, early detailed information is often confusing and may not be assimilated at a time of great stress. The parents seem more concerned as to whether the infant will survive, what the long term outlook will be, whether he or she will attend school, play, work and so on. With the more severe cardiac abnormalities, especially where there is a family history, one need be aware of the often perceived guilt of the parents. At times, it may be necessary to help the parents retain sufficient ‘self-control’, delaying the grieving process to enable them to contribute to the decision making. Where the infant has died, a follow-up appointment can facilitate grieving and help deal with unresolved issuesThrough skilled counselling, the cardiologist in addition to his/her diagnostic and management skills, may meaningfully influence the ongoing care of the infant. They may help avoid the development of unrealistic fears or an over-optimistic outlook, thereby fostering the normal development of the child

Abstract:
There is widespread recognition that many who seek or are referred for help to psychiatric and social services are acutely disturbed and require only short-term help if they are to come through a period of transient disruption in their lives. The frequency with which people in crisis consult their GP or visit a local Social Service Department is uncertain but suggests that the primary carers are the first port of call for most of them. Services developed to meet the needs of these people include traditional GPs and psychiatric services directed primarily at ‘patients’ (people who meet criteria for illness), but which often offer additional help to their families; traditional social services which place no such limitation on the individuals who seek their help but are directed mainly at people with problems in living, particularly with housing, employment and money; and counselling and advisory services (such as Relate – formerly Marriage Guidance) which focus on particular problems or client groups. A few special crisis services, most of which provide a multidisciplinary team, visit clients in crisis in their homes. These are usually psychiatric services for patients with acute mental illness (Cooper, 1979).

Abstract:
In response to the Victorian bushfire disaster in 2009, various telemental health services were provided by three national agencies: Kids Helpline (BoysTown), MensLine Australia (Crisis Support Services) and Lifeline Australia. All provider agencies used their existing national service structures and staff resources, which were expanded to respond to bushfire-related service demand. We examined service provider reports and conducted key informant interviews. Despite a lack of quantitative data on consumer outcomes and perspectives, it appears that all three telemental health services experienced significant increases in overall service uptake levels in the wake of the bushfires. Uptake of specialized telephone-, web-, email- and crisis counselling services was substantial, although that of callback services was very limited. Potential clients encountered specific barriers in relation to service access and the callback model. The bushfire experience highlighted the impact of transitory living circumstances and the increased complexity of post-disaster calls on service provision. Telemental health services need to be integrated into mainstream services and disaster response structures.

Abstract:
Background: Suicide is the deliberate killing of oneself. Although it is preventable, suicide accounts for over 800,000 global deaths annually. There is the need to scale-up prevention strategies, and one of these strategies is the provision of suicide telephone helplines. Objectives: To describe the pattern of calls received by a suicide telephone helpline and the types of intervention provided in a Nigerian facility. Methods: This was a descriptive study of the first 100 completed calls received on a 24-hour suicide telephone helpline service by trained responders. Results: All the calls emanated from 14 states of the federation, with the majority (83.0%) from the Southern parts of the country. The reasons for the telephone calls varied from crisis situations (47.0%) to telephone number-verification (27.0%), mental health information (20.0%), and others (6.0%). The mean age of the crisis -situation callers was 25.8 years, with a slight female preponderance (53.2%); most were single in marital status (68.1%) and unemployed (70.2%). A majority (72.3%) of the callers had an underlying mental condition, 68.1% had suicidal ideation while 12.8% had previously attempted suicide. All the crisis callers were offered interventions ranging from phone counselling to linkage to the nearest mental health services. Conclusion: A majority of the crisis callers were offered mental health services, raising the possibility that the availability of telephone helplines may play a role in suicide prevention in Nigeria.

Abstract:
This article emphasizes the bond of victimization that is based on the similarities in the injuries endured by victims. Such injuries are financial, physical, emotional or social. At the same time, the paper stresses that each victimization is unique due to the attributes of an individual and the nature of the trauma suffered. Program elements of victim assistance are outlined as: crisis intervention; supportive counselling and advocacy; and support during investigation, prosecution, and after-case disposition. Several areas are identified for future focus: violence prevention, emotional first aid, comprehensive outreach to all populations, research, community-wide disaster response, trauma mitigation, international networking and the need to make rights real.

AbstractObjective:To investigate the extent, quality and challenges of dietetic counselling during the pandemic.Design:A cross-sectional online thirty-six-item Google Survey. The survey queried demographics and information on usage and perceived telemedicine quality.Setting:The survey was distributed to Israeli Dietetic Association (ATID) mailing list between 31 March and 5 May 2020.Participants:Clinical dietitians, members of ATID, who consented to participated in the survey. Results:Three hundred dietitians (12 % of ATID members; 95 % women; mean age 4·41 (sd 10·2) years) replied to the survey. Most dietitians reported a significant ∼30 % decrease in work hours due to the pandemic. The most prevalent form of alternative nutrition counselling (ANC) was over the phone (72 %); 53·5 % used online platforms. Nearly 45 % had no former ANC experience. Both ANC formats were reported inferior to face-to-face nutritional consultation (consultation quality median scores 8 and 7, on a 1–10 scale, for online and phone, respectively). ANC difficulties on either phone or online platforms were technical (56 and 47 %, respectively), lack of anthropometric measurements (28 and 25 %, respectively) and interpersonal communication (19 and 14·6 %, respectively). Older age and former phone counselling experience were associated with higher quality scores, respectively (OR = 1·046, 95 % CI 1·01, 1·08, P = 0·005), (95 % CI 1·38, 4·52, P = 0·02). Those who continued to work full time had five-time greater odds for a higher quality score using online platforms (OR = 5·33, 95 % CI 1·091, 14·89, P = 0·001).Conclusions:Our findings suggest telemedicine holds considerable promise for dietary consultation; however, additional tools and training are needed to optimise remote ANC, especially in light of potential crisis-induced lockdown.

Background: Breastfeeding mothers face various kinds of problems to breastfeeding. Literature on the frequency and outcome of perceived breast milk insufficiency in mothers of hospitalized neonates in India is patchy and scanty. Methods: Neonates weighing 1000 grams or more, and their mothers willing to breastfeed formed the study population. Relevant history was taken and clinical examination was performed along with anthropometry of the baby at the time of enrolment in the study. Mothers of neonates were also interviewed. Breast milk was also analyzed for sodium level by ion selective electrophoresis. Weight, head circumference and height were measured at each visit. Results: Of total 285 mothers, 188 mothers (65.9%) said that their milk formation was not sufficient and remaining 97 mothers said that their milk formation was sufficient to fulfil the needs of newborn. Breast milk sodium level was >16 mmol/L in 142 (75.5%) mothers in the crisis group as compared to 21 (21.6%) in the non crisis group. Babies in the crisis group weighed significantly less at admission as well as discharge. The proportion of sick babies, use of bottles/pacifiers and pre lacteal feeds was significantly higher in the crisis group. The velocity of growth of neonates after discharge in both the groups was comparable. Conclusions: Lactation failure was more common among those mothers who were involved in delayed initiation of breastfeeding. Structured counselling sessions with reinforcement on lactation support were proved to be useful to mitigate the situation.

Abstract:
The role and training of Queensland guidance officers appears to be set toward the practice end of the scientist-practitioner continuum. Yet data are presented which demonstrate that the expectations placed on many guidance officers are relatively sophisticated and specialised. Particularly in the areas of personal crisis counselling, family support and community-school development, today's guidance officers working in Queensland schools are required to demonstrate considerable specialisation. The profession seems to be facing a choice, attempt to develop into a group of true educational specialists with all the required training, supervision and in-service education or move to become a group of expert general practitioners. Some implications of these two options for the profession are explored.

Abstract The Estonian child helpline service launched in 2009 uses a free nationwide 24h Child Helpline phone number. The purpose of the service is to enable everyone to report on children in need, forward the information to specialists and, if necessary, get primary social counselling and crisis counselling for children and other people. The service is provided in accordance with the Estonian Child Protection Act that prescribes that all citizens are required to immediately notify the social services, police or other assistanceproviding authorities about children in need of protection or assistance. This article is based on studies conducted between 2013 and 2015. In the course of the research, data were collected for increasing the effectiveness of the hotline’s communication campaigns. In addition to the general objective of the article, the data collected includes quantitative research mixed with qualitative data that helps to understand the factors that encourage and inhibit the use of the hotline service. The focus is on indicators that illustrate the effectiveness of the diffusion of innovation, and special attention is paid to the results that highlight risk, the existence of mental barriers and trust. Finally, the study analyses the weaknesses of past hotline campaigns and makes some suggestions for future.

Abstract:
Abstract: Gender Equality in Times of Crisis – A Comparative Analysis of the Impact of COVID-19 on Gender Equality in Germany and Sweden Women suffer more from short-term work arrangements, unemployment and the challenge of balancing work and family life in Germany as a consequence of the COVID-19-pandemic. Moreover, in a gender-segregated labour market women are overrepresented in essential but low paid positions. State support to overcome the crisis is mainly given in forms of financial assistance and counselling. Furthermore, women are underrepresented in the most influential scientific and political advisory bodies. In comparison to Germany, Sweden has institutional integration of gender equality. Gender mainstreaming, gender budgeting and gender monitoring are an integral part of the Swedish strategy in normal times, and remain so, even in times of crisis. The Swedish example provides an alternative approach crucial for the debate on how to achieve a more gender equal crisis response in Germany.

Full text
Abstract:
A major crisis affected Bundaberg Hospital in 2005 following the exposure of the concerns about Dr Jayant Patel and the subsequent sudden exit of the Hospital Executive. The Bundaberg Emergency Response Team (BERT) was created as an emergency intervention whose brief was, over a 6-week period, to maintain the function of the hospital in the face of the community’s loss of confidence in the service; to find out what had happened to Dr Patel’s patients and to organise appropriate care and treatment for them. The authors acted as the senior members of BERT. Serious events such as these are rare and there was no framework to guide the team. BERT quickly established processes to assess the extent of harm to patients and to mobilise large scale clinical and counselling assistance for patients and staff. The team also managed the local health service, engagement with the community and assistance with the various investigations being conducted into Dr Patel. BERT was considered by the community and the former patients of Dr Patel to be an appropriate and professional response to the situation. The experience provides a framework for responses to these types of situations and herein we discuss key points for successful implementation. What is known about the topic? There is little in the literature that describes a framework used to successfully manage a hospital in crisis after serious public allegations are made. What does this paper add? The paper adds the findings of the management of a rare but very significant event: a hospital going into crisis after serious public allegations are made. It also provides the learnings of the management team in this event, and a framework for the future management of similar crises. What are the implications for practitioners? The framework provided in this paper is unique. Given the need for a rapid response in such events and the rarity of these events, practitioners now have a readily available tool to help them rapidly provide the appropriate response.

Abstract:
Introduction: The stigma of mental illness and the ensuing social exclusion are due to the lack of knowledge on the causality of mental illness. Aim: The purpose of this study was to record the stigmatic attitudes of health professionals towards depression, patients suffering from it and the available therapeutic approaches. Material and Methods: The sample of the study included 609 health professionals working in the General Hospital of Corinth. The collection of the empirical material was performed using an anonymous questionnaire. The statistical analysis was performed with the statistical program SPSS 17.0. Results: Although the health professionals showed more optimistic attitudes towards the abilities of the mentally ill, they seem to maintain stereotypes, proving that stigmatization of the mentally ill and prejudice around mental illness continue to exist. Participants identified psychosocial and psychotherapeutic interventions as the most effective forms of therapy, such as supportive social destination (74.4%), healthy eating and physical activity (67.9%), psychoanalysis (60.6%), relaxation techniques (60.5%) and counselling (53.2%), recording ambivalent attitudes towards psychiatric medicines, questioning their effectiveness. The economic crisis has had a direct impact on health professionals as well burdened their psyche (78.3%) and created problems in everyday work (86.7%). Conclusion: Health professionals must be protagonists, free from the stigma attached to mental illness as only in this way will they be able to transmit optimism and feelings of acceptance.

Abstract:
The roles of community mental health professionals may overlap and need clarifying. A survey is described of 95 occupational therapists (OT) and 200 community psychiatric nurses (CPN), of their views on their respective roles, and information on current practices. Administering medication and crisis intervention were regarded as specifically CPN roles, yet 26% of CPNs did not regularly administer medication. Half of the CPNs' clients were not chronically mentally ill, and over two-thirds of the nurses regularly carried out counselling and anxiety management. Assessing activities of daily living and work skills were seen specifically as OT tasks, yet 60% of the OTs did not usually assess work skills in practice. Roles overlapped considerably, suggesting that a more efficient approach might be to develop a generic core training for community mental health workers.

Abstract:
Homosexuality is defined as romantic attraction, sexual attraction, or sexual behavior between the same sex or gender. Gay is one of the sexual disorders where man is attracted to other straight or gay man. Mostly, teenagers are unaware of this current emerging phenomenon. So, some may get involved or even dragged into this crisis which will lead them to miserable mental state. Their lack of knowledge about the concept and detrimental effect of gay behavior is also the main concern. Hence, a preventive approach should be taken to hinder teenagers, especially male students, from the negative outcome of gay behavior through guidance and counselling program. The paper followed the procedure in descriptive research design. The research population was all public high school students in Padang and there were 100 respondents which was chosen through purposive sampling. Based on the research findings, 15 students (15%) responded in the highest scale, extremely concerned. 23 students (23) were moderately concerned. 58 students (58%) seemed in uncertainty. 4 students (4%) were at loss or slightly concerned facing this crisis. In brief, most students had low awareness of this crisis. Thus, their understanding in gay behavior must be enhanced. The aid offered to help them protect themselves is providing information about the concept of gay behavior, gay characteristics, the causes of gay behavior, the impact of being a homosexual man and how they find a sexual partner through guidance and counseling program.

Abstract:
Abstract mTOR controls several important aspects of cell function particularly in the nervous system. Its hyperactivation has been involved in tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) and other mTORopathies as well as drug-resistant epilepsy. Mutations in TSC1 and TSC2 genes cause loss of normal inhibition of mTORC1 complex, leading to cell overgrowth and disruptions in synaptogenesis. Many children and adults with TSC harbour neurologic defects especially subependymal giant cell astrocytomas (SEGAs) in the brain. Here, we have performed mutational analysis followed by a genetic counselling for a Tunisian family from Sfax town harboring epileptic seizures associated to a neurocutaneous disorder. Index cases were referred for renal angiolipomas (RAL) associated to seizures crisis and were diagnosed as having TSC. The first 26-year-old patient complained of epilepsy since the age of 22 with left temporal crisis related to cortical tubers near the Heschl’s gyrus. His brother, a 36-year-old man presented more severe epileptic crisis (since 15 years-old), multiples RAL, subependymal nodules, and a rapid evolution of his mTORopathy with tumoral progression of his renal and central nerve lesions: renal cell carcinoma and SEGAs. TSC1 gene mutation screening showed heterozygous two bp deletion at codons 213 and 214 of exon 5. SEGAs are rare, low-grade glioneuronal brain tumors that occur almost exclusively in TSC patients but can lead to nervous complications. We showed through this report, the predictive value of germinal TSC mutations screening in familial cases, because early recognition of the molecular defect may lead to appropriate management of the tumoral progression.

Abstract:
The institution of the family is going through difficult times in Ukraine. According to Eurostatistics, the highest rate of divorces in Europe is in Ukrainian society - 61 %; more than half of the couples arebusted up. Beside that, the latest government policy in Ukraine is not stable when it comes to saving traditional institution of family based on christian values. This became a serious cause for raising a question about family ministration in church. In this article it has been researched that in protestant’s segment of christianity of Ukraine a family ministration takes an important place. There are two strong directions in this particular ministration of Ukrainian Protestants: 1) ministrations oriented to prevent family crisis; 2) ministrations that involve direct work with marriage problems and family relations in general. It has been analyzed that the scale of family ministrationss consists of 1) organization or co-organisation of family forums and conference at the national, regional, and city levels by Ukrainian Protestants. The purpose of these events is to join the efforts of public employees, scientists, pedagogues, social workers, psychologists, journalists, family activists and volunteers for assertion of family institution, popularization of family values, maintaining ideas and suggestions for developing national family politics. 2) Ukrainian Protestants initiate many social movements, alliances and missions which aims to develop healthy civil society based on christian family values. It has been identified that ministration of Ukrainian Protestants in the field of family matters is noticed to be multidirectional – organizing trainings for men, women and youth, seminars and conferences, helping destitute children and orphans through adaptation and creation family type housing units, running of christian holiday’s camps, rehabilitation centres, services via mass media. In addition to the public services, Ukraine Protestants assign huge importance to individual ministry by pastors, teachers and family consultants who pays great attention to consultations and prayers. During the years of religious freedom in Ukrainian Protestant church the cohort of professional psychologists, pedagogues, physicians has appeared, and helps to overcome relational, family and marital conflicts on a personal level as consultants and soulpastors. As a conclusion, the article reveales that Protestant church in Ukraine has developed different methods in prevention and settlement of family crisis through different methods and forms of public service as well as counselling. This experience consists of: consolidation of family and it’s traditional model, popularization of christian family values, support of underprivileged men and women due to family crises, guardianship of orphans and children from dysfunctional families, adoption of orphans, formation of family type orphanages. Accumulation of experiences of Ukrainian Protestants could be useful for Ukrainian government as well as for the other churches.

Abstract:
ObjectivesThe COVID-19 pandemic has presented unprecedented healthcare challenges. Journalists covering the pandemic at close quarters are working in ways akin to first responders, but nothing to date is known of the psychological distress this is potentially causing them. This study aims to determine whether journalists reporting on the COVID-19 crisis have been affected emotionally, and if so to assess the severity of their distress. Abstract:
Internet addiction has been seen to rise significantly during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic especially during the quarantine period. Closure of offices, marketplaces, educational institutes, and lack of social interactions has led to an upsurge in the usage of the internet not only for academic and work but also for relaxation and a muddle through monotonic life amidst pandemic. It is essential to understand the effects of this addiction on the general population. Young's and Temperance's model; one of the behavioral models explain behavioral changes among individuals related to internet addiction amidst crisis. This paper aims to discuss how the intercalated interplay between biological characteristics such as brain plasticity, psychological and predisposing characteristics, environmental and need-based factors during the pandemic have led to internet addiction. This could help health authorities in developing effective methods to reduce internet addiction prevalence through preventive measures like counselling, therapeutic interventions, and a hotline service.
