Abstract:
Digitization efforts across the world have resulted in the need for businesses to own a website. All Fortune 500 companies run websites for either information dissemination or for transacting business. This has led to the increase in the number of websites as well as a growing competition to outdo each other. In order to gain competitive advantage, businesses need to have a detailed track of the activities going on their website to suffice their decisive knowledge. However, to monitor and to optimise the website performance, organisations need strong web analytics tools and skills. This work presents a comprehensive review of the web analytics tools and techniques, which are vital to report the website performance and usage. Abstract:
In many cases, temporary websites may be simple, accessible solutions for knowledge management and dissemination of information. However, such sites may become outdated as the funding ends, but yet in many cases, still publicly available through the Internet. The issue of website sustainability is a relevant topic for all organizations that have websites. Website lifecycle, knowledge management, and website sustainability issues are discussed through a theoretical-based literature review. These issues are then summarized and used as lessons learned for the case study approach of this paper. The aim is to identify a solution to address a website’s life and longevity, post project. A practical case study assessment of the issue of project website sustainability is needed to address the website’s longevity—post project—as creation is often made through temporary endeavors. Recommendations for future project websites are made as the outcomes and results of this study and are expressed in the form of suggested practices for project website sustainability in future projects.

Abstract:
This study aims at exploring the factors related to the implementation of E-commerce websites by small business owners. While large organizations often consider E-commerce as a fundamental piece of their business strategy, small businesses place varying degrees of importance on E-commerce as a strategic tool to business success. Through a survey of small businesses, this study examines the creation and usage of E-commerce websites for small businesses. For companies with only a web presence, as well as for companies with an E-commerce website, the top two reasons for an E-commerce website identified by respondents of this study are to increase the profits of the company and to increase the market share. The study also found that factors such as lack of management support and costs greater than benefits were not detrimental to the decision to implement an E-commerce solution. Additional factors motivating small businesses to create and use E-commerce websites include the ability to better respond to customer demands and increased profits as a result of having E-commerce websites. This study contributes to the E-commerce literature by highlighting motivations of small business owners as they consider implementing E-commerce solutions.

Abstract:
Phishing attack is a cybercrime that can lead to severe financial losses for Internet users and entrepreneurs. Typically, phishers are fond of using fuzzy techniques during the creation of a website. They confuse the victim by imitating the appearance and content of a legitimate website. In addition, many websites are vulnerable to phishing attacks, including financial institutions, social networks, e-commerce, and airline websites. This paper is an extension of our previous work that leverages the favicon with Google image search to reveal the identity of a website. Our identity retrieval technique involves an effective mathematical model that can be used to assist in retrieving the right identity from the many entries of the search results. In this paper, we introduced an enhanced version of the favicon-based phishing attack detection with the introduction of the Domain Name Amplification feature and incorporation of addition features. Additional features are very useful when the website being examined does not have a favicon. We have collected a total of 5,000 phishing websites from PhishTank and 5,000 legitimate websites from Alexa to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. From the experimental results, we achieved a 96.93% true positive rate with only a 4.13% false positive rate.

Abstract:
Purpose An official destination website (ODW) is a key component for tourist’s decision-making processes. ODW acts as a direct channel where users may share experiences and opinions about previous or future travels. At the same time, it drives user participation in destination branding activities. In this context, it is crucial to identify how the destination website, using Web 2.0 technologies, could motivate user’s participation with the brand. The purpose of this paper is to propose and evaluate a model that posits the destination website quality as a determinant factor to predict users’ attitudes toward the website and their willingness to participate in co-creation experiences. Design/methodology/approach Using a combined qualitative and quantitative method, this paper provides an exploratory research that examines the role of destination website quality on attitudes toward the website and the willingness to participate in online co-creation experiences. Findings Findings confirm that there is a direct and significant relationship between website quality, attitudes toward the website and willingness to participate in online co-creation experiences. Moreover, attitudes toward the website partially mediate relationships between destination website quality and willingness to participate in online co-creation experiences. Originality/value The literature of value co-creation is trying to identify which factors drive consumer’s participation with brands across different consumption contexts. This study provides evidence that confirms, from a tourism destination website point of view, that website quality is one of these key factors that motives user’s co-creation with a destination.

Abstract:
Abstract This article analyzes the content of Spanish university websites and the processes involved in translating them, with the aim of identifying the challenges internationalisation poses for these institutions and the technical, organisational, and translation-related solutions that have been adopted for managing their multilingual content, particularly in the case of universities in autonomous communities with two official languages. It examines the communicative situation of the multilingual university website (MUW) genre by applying textual genre analysis, with special emphasis on translation and localisation processes. The empirical study of the macrostructures, multilingual content, and strategies used by each university to translate its website is articulated through the notion of a genre ecology, as a complex conglomerate of genres based on distributed cognition and shared authorship. The analysis shows that the processes involved in creating multilingual content require adopting comprehensive translation and localisation strategies, establishing sole decision-makers for translation management and quality control, and providing the necessary resources to ensure the multifunctionality, dynamicity, interactivity, and adaptability we have identified in monolingual university websites. Finally, we offer suggestions for improving the creation, management and control of multilingual content, and define the profiles of the specialized translators required for this type of institutional website.

Abstract:
The World Wide Web has become an essential modern tool for people’s daily routine. The fact that it is a convenient means for communication and information search has made it extremely popular. This fact led companies to start using online advertising by creating corporate websites. With the rapid increase in the number of websites, search engines had to come up with a solution of algorithms and programs to qualify the results of a search and provide the users with relevant content to their search. On the other side, developers, in pursuit of the highest rankings in the search engine result pages (SERPs), began to study and observe how search engines work and which factors contribute to higher rankings. The knowledge that has been extracted constituted the base for the creation of the profession of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This paper consists of two parts. The first part aims to perform a literature review of the factors that affect the ranking of websites in the SERPs and to highlight the top factors that contribute to better ranking. To achieve this goal, a collection and analysis of academic papers was conducted. According to our research, 24 website characteristics came up as factors affecting any website’s ranking, with the most references mentioning quality and quantity of backlinks, social media support, keyword in title tag, website structure, website size, loading time, domain age, and keyword density. The second part consists of our research which was conducted manually using the phrases “hotel Athens”, “email marketing”, and “casual shoes”. For each one of these keywords, the first 15 Google results were examined considering the factors found in the literature review. For the measurement of the significance of each factor, the Spearman correlation was calculated and every factor was compared with the ranking of the results individually. The findings of the research showed us that the top factors that contribute to higher rankings are the existence of website SSL certificate as well as keyword in URL, the quantity of backlinks pointing to a website, the text length, and the domain age, which is not perfectly aligned with what the literature review showed us.

Abstract:
Websites of destination marketing organisations (DMO’s) are important tools to market tourism destinations to prospective visitors. They provide an abundance of information for tourists and help them plan their visit to the destination or find inspiration for an upcoming vacation. In many cases, website visitors come from other countries and cultures. In order to satisfy the needs of international website visitors, website providers would need to consider diverse cultural backgrounds and different languages when designing, implementing and maintaining a website. The main objective of this master thesis is to analyse the depiction of cultural values on DMO websites in Austria and the United Kingdom. It is then sought to compare them to the perceived cultural values of the respective host country by looking at Hofstede’s and Hall’s cultural frameworks. Moreover, it is aimed to provide a framework for tourism professionals and website developers who oversee and implement the creation of websites for tourism destinations. To establish the foundation of this thesis, an extensive literature review in the field of cross- cultural web design is provided with the aim to support the process of further developing a framework for the analysis of cultural values on the World Wide Web. Drawing on Hofstede’s dimensions and Hall’s high/low context theory this framework seeks to broaden the cross-cultural lens adopted by website providers. The content analysis is going to include 18 DMO websites that represent tourism destinations on three levels: Nations, provinces/countries and cities. The analysis is expected to shed light on website design in Austria and the United Kingdom and increase awareness towards the significance of localized cultural values. It should provide recommendations for professionals who are implementing websites for tourism destinations. Additionally, the study on Austrian and British websites can be of excellent value for tourism managers and destination marketers since both countries welcome many tourists each year.

Abstract:
Emotional User Experience Design (eUXD) has become increasingly important for web-based services. The primary objective of this study is to enable users to use websites that are easy to understand and operate and pleasing to use. A checklist tool for an emotional user experience (eUX) assessment that supports web-based medical services is proposed. This tool measures user moods while using medical services’ websites. The tool allocates emotive design-oriented problems and thus defines relevant website design recommendations. A case study was performed illustrating the proposed tool on a website offering medical services. Five variants of this website with different design element categories were created. These variants were assessed, analyzed, and proposed for further redesign in applying the tool. The results reveal the variant and website design elements that best influenced eUX. Significant improvement in eUX is expected with implementation of design recommendations of this study. The advantages of the tool are: (1) measuring emotional responses of medical website users, (2) allocating emotive problems, (3) defining of recommendations for eUX design of web-based medical services, and (4) creation of suitable practices for eUX design of web-based medical services.

The method used is in the form of counseling and website creation training. The continuity of this community service activity is in the form of a website created that is followed up by being managed by the local government to be used as a promotional media.

Abstract:
This paper will demonstrate the way low-cost WYSIWYG websites can be used as a method of storing and disseminating information in a museum context, as illustrated by the internal website – MoKnow – developed by the Museum of Old and New Art (Mona) library. Websites like Google Sites can be used to share resources with a range of in-house users – from curators to front of house staff – in an easy-to-access manner. Quick to set up, these sites can be used to share text and bibliographic information, store PDFs and other documents, and link to images, videos and websites, thereby providing users with an intuitive and quick method of accessing information relevant to the institution and its collection. As Mona library manager, Mary Lijnzaad notes, the website MoKnow, “started as a digital version of the old school vertical filing cabinets… it was simply a way of not having to store vast amounts of physical information.” However, six years after the original site's creation, the website's purpose and scope continues to evolve in response to the changing nature of online resources and the demands of the institution. The paper will also examine some of the challenges and restrictions associated with using such sites, including copyright, ownership, changing technologies, and confidentiality concerns.

Abstract:
Background: Changes in the marketing of plastic surgery services in Australia has resulted in more plastic surgeons advertising on personal professional websites. In May 2014 the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) published ‘Guidelines for advertising regulated health services’. This study evaluates the compliance of plastic surgeons with these advertising standards. Method: The professional websites for all members of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) were analysed using the AHPRA guidelines. Each website was assessed by two independent medical reviewers noting the use of deceptive advertising, gifts/discounts, comparison with other surgeons, website photos, inappropriate marketing phraseology to encourage surgery and the creation of unreasonable expectations. Results: Over 80 per cent of ASPS members are fully compliant with the AHPRA guidelines. Less than one per cent of surgeons listed information considered to be misleading, deceptive, or creating unreasonable expectations. Gifts or discounts were offered by 5.8 per cent, 5.5 per cent used inappropriate marketing phraseology, 4.9 per cent made comparisons with other surgeons and 1.3 per cent had website photos that did not comply with recommended guidelines. Thirty-four per cent of surgeons were on Facebook, 20.4 per cent on Twitter and 19.4 per cent on Instagram. Of NSW surgeons, 13.8 per cent of had inappropriate website photos. Approximately 19 per cent of surgeons in WA and SA used inappropriate marketing to encourage surgery. Conclusion: The majority of ASPS members are compliant with the national advertising guidelines. Regional non-compliance with specific areas was noted suggesting targeted education may be of benefit.

Abstract:
The rapid use of information technology today has made the government more aware of the benefits of using information technology, especially in the internet sector. The high use of the internet is inseparable from the emergence of various website applications developed by the community, entrepreneurs, including government agencies. The Central Government strongly supports the creation of various kinds of community service websites as an effort to keep the wheels of government running. The development of this community service website is an effort to prevent crowds at public service facilities which currently need to be avoided to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 outbreak, which recently has not shown a significant decline. In terms of community services in rural areas, the central government also understands and encourages village governments to have village websites that can be used to empower villages and village communities, this is evidenced by the launch of the desa.id domain extension as an official domain extension and is devoted to websites. Village website development is also a government priority program contained in Permendesa Number 11 of 2019 concerning Priority for the Use of Village Funds in 2020 in Appendix I CHAPTER I Letter E concerning Priority List in the Village Development Sector, Point d concerning Procurement, Development, utilization and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure information and communication and item 2 mentions the creation of a village website. This shows that the central government is really serious so that villages can develop website-based services and information. Weskust Village is one of the villages located in Kepahiang District, Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu Province. The constraints experienced by the Weskust village government today are the limited access to information that can be seen and accessed by the village community in particular and the surrounding community in general, especially access to information on village activities, village administration, superior village products and village locations. Based on these problems, it encourages the author to create a website and administrative application for the Weskut village. With the existence of a village website and an online village administration application it is hoped that in providing services to the community it can be maximized, and access to information about the village of Weskust can be accessed and seen by anyone and from anywhere while an internet network is still available.

Abstract:
The digital revolution has had a particular impact on the functioning of libraries: it has changed both the means of communicating with the users, and the nature of the service itself. In the case of academic libraries, an online presence is crucial due to the increased rate of Internet usage among their stakeholders, academics and students alike. From their perspective, library websites serve as digital gates to library services and resources. However, an academic library website may fulfil a wide array of functions and their importance can be variously prioritized. The purpose of our research was to find out which functions of academic library websites are viewed as the most important by a selected group of users: the students. To answer this question, we identified the main functions of academic library websites on the basis of desk research and designed a survey conducted among students of the University of Warsaw (Poland) and Vilnius University (Lithuania) ( n=680). The picture of users’ information needs with regard to content of the academic library website revealed by our research allows us to draw conclusions about the functions of the academic library website distinctive from those already mentioned in the subject literature. From the perspective of a user-centric approach we distinguished five functions of the academic library website: (1) supporting the usage of the collection (online and traditional); (2) promotion of culture; (3) gateway for locating information on the Web; (4) education; (5) creation of library’s online image.

Abstract:
With more than one third of the world’s population being online, the Internet has increasingly become part of modern living, giving rise to popular literature that often takes a teleological and celebratory perspective, heralding the Internet and Web 2.0 specifically, as an enabler of participation, democracy, and interactivity. However, one should not take these technological affordances of Web 2.0 for granted. This article applies an interaction framework to the analysis of two Web 2.0 websites viewed as spaces where interaction goes beyond the mere consultation and selection of content, i.e., as spaces supporting the (co)creation of content and value. The authors’ approach to interactivity seeks to describe websites in objective, structural terms as spaces of user, document, and website affordances. The framework also makes it possible to talk about the websites in subjective, functional terms, considering them as spaces of perceived inter-action, intra-action and outer-action affordances. Analysis finds that both websites provide numerous user, document, and website affordances that can serve as inter-action or social affordances.

Abstract:
Students are one of the agents of change. The development of a region will depend on the younger generation activities. Therefore, the young generation development needs to be considered. Today the information technology is developing very rapidly, but the momentum cannot be utilized by Informatics Engineering students. Even though they can be connected and collaborate with each other, it is possible to come up with new products that can help the development of Indonesia, especially in the field of Information Technology. The majority of them do not know how to start doing business in the Information Technology field. In this community service program, the proponent proposes an idea to solve the problem by developing a student software home website to display products that have been created and are ready for sale. This website is used as a promotional media which able to introduce and promote products produced by Informatics Engineering students. The existence of this home software website will not only bring benefits to students but also can bring benefits to the community in general. Citizens who want to find out about the desired software creation services do not need to feel difficult again for looking information because all information related to the desired software products is provided on this website. This home software website creation program is carried out in 5 stages: preparation, requirements analysis, website creation, implementation, and report generation. Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of three dimensions of Blog service innovation (system operation, social technology & diversification) on website viewers' online loyalty through the intervening effect of two aspects of online relationship quality (trust & satisfaction) in the context of social media and blogging websites. A sample of 251 social media and blogging sites users responded to a structured questionnaire adapted from existing literature. First, confirmatory factor analysis was carried out, and then data were analysed through structural equation modelling using the bootstrap methodology in AMOS 24. The findings indicated that two innovations (system operations & diversification) indirectly affect the website viewers' online loyalty through both Trust and Satisfaction. In contrast, Social Technology related innovation affects website viewers' online loyalty only through Trust. Further, none of those mentioned above innovations has a direct relationship with the website viewers' online loyalty. This paper explains the loyalty pattern of social media and blogging website users following the changes in services provided by organizations in their websites, which is explicitly mediated through online relationship quality factors. From a managerial perspective, the study does only provides the vital information on user's behaviour in relationship to the innovations in services introduced by organizations in their websites but also reveals that it can help them to minimize their cost and maximize their profits through value creation to the target audience. This paper is first of its kind to investigate the relationship between different dimensions of blog service innovations and website viewers' online loyalty mediated through two dimensions of online relationship quality. Although different studies focused on the enhancement of online loyalty factors through trust and satisfaction, no study was afforded to the blog service innovation perspective which includes innovations related to System operations, Social technology and Diversification especially in the context of social media and blogging website users. Keywords service innovation, social media, blogging, online relationship quality, trust, satisfaction, online loyalty, e-loyalty.

Abstract:
Background and Objectives: There is limited research on the question of whether web-based preoperative education can improve surgical patient outcomes. The purpose of this pilot study was to determine the usability, utility, and feasibility of a website created to increase engagement and improve the quality of the preoperative education that patients having hip and knee arthroplasty surgery receive. Materials and Methods: A website was created, and its appearance was designed with evidence-based “menu-driven” drop-downs to make the screen options age-appropriate to the patient population; the content was supported with video and PDFs of educational material, the same or similar to the usual education provided to patients. The patient-specific outcomes included qualitative data regarding patient knowledge, satisfaction, utilities, and usability. These objectives were assessed based on the perceived health website usability questionnaire online survey. Eighty patients who met inclusion criteria were recruited, ranging in age from 40 to 65 years old. Among them, 52.5% were female, 71.25% were scheduled for knee arthroplasty, and 28.75% hip arthroplasty. The patients were randomly assigned to the paper only or website education cohorts in a 50:50 ratio. However, only 19 from each cohort participated in the survey questionnaire. Results and Conclusions: We hypothesized that findings would show that patients receiving web-based education would feel more knowledgeable about their procedure, have less anxiety, and greater satisfaction with the addition of the website content; and that nurses would report that a website could conserve nursing time and resources. The study revealed no statistically significant differences between the cohorts, with an Alpha level set at 0.05. However, survey results showed that patients using the website rated self-perceived increase in knowledge, and their satisfaction in the time to find and review the information was higher than that of the paper-only cohort. The nursing survey revealed that website education improved workflow, efficiency, and patient education.

Abstract:
College and university websites play a vital role in promoting an institution’s identity and achievements, facilitate the recruitment of prospective students and provide information for current students through content. They are a major source of information and the largest communication tool between the university and internal or external audiences. Therefore, one of the university’s main missions is to be strategic with its valuable and useful website content and to treat it as a critical asset. The purpose of this research was to investigate the current state of the web content of the website of Abdulaziz University (KAU) and propose a web content strategy to be applied. The study includes three phases: (1) a survey of the website coordinators of KAU, which showed that 97% of them were not dedicated solely to website issues, 35% have qualifications in fields unrelated to website design, usability testing is considered the best way of assessing an audience’s needs and usage behaviour by 65%, none of the respondents have a web content strategy nor were working on one; (2) an evaluation of internal and external environments concerning KAU’s website content using SWOT analysis; and (3) the presentation of a proposed strategy using the Delphi approach. This strategy will guide the planning, creation and governance of web content in line with KAU’s strategic aims, and will support the university in achieving its vision with respect to education, research, innovation and communication.

Abstract:
Purpose This study aims to examine the relationships among the dimensions of consumption values (functional, social and emotional), co-creation, information overload, satisfaction and continuance intention derived from the use of the Airbnb platform. Design/methodology/approach A Web-based survey was conducted among Italians, and a valid sample of 259 persons was obtained for data analysis. Findings The survey results indicated that only functional value and social value are strong predictors of satisfaction in the use of the Airbnb website for accommodation booking. Co-creation and absence of information overload also contribute to satisfaction with using the Airbnb website for accommodation booking, which in turn affects continuance intention. Research limitations/implications The findings of this study are highly destination-specific, given that the authors collected the data only from Italian residents. The sample was based on a snowball sampling technique; thus, the study findings could be misrepresented because of sampling selection bias. Moreover, the study was limited to the use of three dimensions of consumption values, co-creation, information overload and satisfaction to predict continuance intention. Furthermore, the present study adopted a Web-based survey questionnaire. Practical implications Managerial implications include recommendations for hosts to emphasise their prices when listing accommodations on the Airbnb website and to focus on active interaction with potential guests. Information on the website should also be organised to avoid information overload. Originality/value This study allows a deeper understanding of users’ continuance intention with regards to the Airbnb website by exploring the possible determinants.
