Abstract:
An extended SU (2) × U (1) model with two-Higgs doublets and a discrete symmetry is considered. The latter is chosen to naturally obtain suppressed and hierarchical flavor-changing neutral currents induced by Higgs bosons. As a consequence, Higgs as light as 10 GeV is consistent with the observed KL – KS mass difference and problems with perturbative unitarity are avoided. In this model, the neutral Higgs can generate CP violation in K0 − K0 system and the consequences of a scheme where these exchanges provide the only source of CP violation are worked out.

Abstract:
Abstract In this paper, we have theoretically studied the neutral Higgs pair production in Two Higgs Doublet Model (THDM) in the presence of a circularly polarized laser field. The laser-assisted differential partial cross section is derived in the centre of mass frame at the leading order including Z diagram. The total cross section is computed numerically by integrating the differential cross section over the solid angle d Ω . Two benchmark points are discussed for the THDM parameters. In the first step, we have analysed the total cross section of e + e − → h 0 A 0 by considering H 0 as the standard model (SM)-like Higgs boson. Then, the process e + e − → H 0 A 0 is studied by taking h 0 as the Higgs boson of the SM. For both benchmark points, the laser-assisted total cross section of the studied processes depends on the produced neutral Higgs masses, the centre of mass energy and the laser field parameters. In addition, the maximum cross section occurs at high centre of mass energy for the process e + e − → H 0 A 0 as compared to that of e + e − → h 0 A 0 .

Abstract:
The unitarity of the mixing matrix of the charged Higgs bosons, and the orthogonality of the mixing matrix of the neutral Higgs bosons, are used to derive upper bounds on the values of general CP-violating expressions. The bounds are independent of the total number of Higgs fields in any specific model. They allow us to relax the usual assumption of only one Higgs boson being light. It is natural that the CP violation in the exchange of neutral Higgs bosons between bottom quarks be particularly large.

We study the properties of the Higgs sector in an extended SUSY model that includes a complex (Y=0) Higgs triplet. In particular, we evaluate the Higgs masses and their couplings to gauge bosons, including the leading radiative corrections using the one-loop effective potential. The mass difference between the CP-even and CP-odd neutral scalars, which can mimic a CP-violating Higgs signature of the MSSM, is also studied. Then, we study the range of parameters that are bounded from the LEP2 search for neutral Higgs bosons, as well as the corresponding region where at least one of the neutral CP-even Higgs boson can be detected at a future e+e- collider with a c.m. energy of 500 GeV.

Abstract:
The Weinberg three-Higgs-doublet model of CP violation and its phenomenological implications are reviewed. CP violation which arises solely from charged-Higgs-boson exchange can be accommodated in the kaon system, but it is not compatible with the constraints inferred from the neutron electric dipole moment dn and from B physics. Therefore, charged-Higgs-boson exchange cannot be the dominant source of CP violation observed in KL decays. Limits on CP violation mediated by neutral-Higgs-boson exchange are derived from the dn induced by the mechanism of Barr and Zee.

I suggest a two-Higgs-doublet model in which CP violation is mediated only by the neutral Higgs bosons, via the mechanism of scalar-pseudoscalar mixing. In this model there is no CP violation in the exchange of either W bosons or charged Higgs bosons. The model has only two basic CP-violating quantities. I remark that other models of this kind, but with more than two Higgs doublets, may also be built.

In this work, we address the phenomenological consequences of explicit CP violation on direct Higgs–boson searches at high energy colliders. Having a restricted parameter space, we concentrate on the recently proposed gluino–axion model, and investigate the CP violation capability of the model subject to the recent experimental data. It is shown that the Higgs masses as well as their CP compositions are quite sensitive to the supersymmetric CP phases. The lightest Higgs is found to be nearly CP even to a good approximation whilst the remaining two heavy scalars do not have definite CP parities.

Abstract:
In the two-Higgs-doublet model (THDM), generalized-CP transformations ([Formula: see text] where X is unitary) and unitary Higgs-family transformations (φi→Uijφj) have recently been examined in a series of papers. In terms of gauge-invariant bilinear functions of the Higgs fields φi, the Higgs-family transformations and the generalized-CP transformations possess a simple geometric description. Namely, these transformations correspond in the space of scalar-field bilinears to proper and improper rotations, respectively. In this formalism, recent results relating generalized CP transformations with Higgs-family transformations have a clear geometric interpretation. We will review what is known regarding THDM symmetries, as well as derive new results concerning those symmetries, namely how they can be interpreted geometrically as applications of several CP transformations.

Abstract:
The SM-like Higgs pair production is discussed in the framework of the general CP-violating two-Higgs-doublet model, where we find that the CP-violating mixing angles can be related to the Higgs self-couplings. Therefore, the future experimental searches for Higgs boson pairs can be constrained by the improved precision of the electric dipole moment measurements. Based on a series of constraints of the SM-like Higgs boson signal fits, the perturbative unitarity and stability bounds to the Higgs potential, and the most recent LHC searches for heavy Higgs bosons, we suggest a set of benchmark models for the future high-energy collider searches for Higgs pair production. The [Formula: see text] colliders operating at [Formula: see text] are capable of measuring the Higgs cubic self-couplings of the benchmark models directly. We also estimate the cross sections of the resonance contributions to the Higgs pair productions for the benchmark models at the future LHC and SppC/FCC-hh runs.

Abstract:
We explore some aspects of the phenomenology of the Higgs sector in a model that includes right-handed neutrinos, with a mass of the order of the electroweak scale. In this model all scales arise from spontaneous symmetry breaking, thus the Higgs sector includes an extra Higgs singlet, in addition to the Standard Model Higgs doublet. The scalar spectrum includes two neutral CP-even states (h and H, with mh < mH) and a neutral CP-odd state (σ) that can be identified as a pseudo-Majoron. The parameter of the Higgs potential are constrained using a perturbativity criteria, which amounts to solve the corresponding RGE. Charged Higgs boson is a crucial prediction of new physics beyond the SM. In this work, we perform a comprehensive scan over the parameter space of NMSSM considering various experimental constraints including the direct search limits from the 13 TeV LHC, and consider the scenario that the next-to-lightest CP-even Higgs boson is SM-like. We find that the masses of charged Higgs bosons can be as light as 350 GeV, the lightest CP-even Higgs boson [Formula: see text] is predominantly singlet and can be as light as 48 GeV, and the lightest CP-odd Higgs boson [Formula: see text] is also singlet-dominated and can be as light as 82 GeV. The charged Higgs bosons mainly decay to [Formula: see text] or [Formula: see text], but the branching ratio of the exotic decays [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] can maximally reach 20% and 11%, respectively, which can be used to distinguish the NMSSM from MSSM. The masses of neutral Higgs bosons in the basis of CP-violationwas calculated. The results are presented as dependencies neutral CP-odd Higgs boson mass mA on tanβ. We review predictions and constraints for nuclear recoil signals from Higgs portal dark matter under the assumption of standard thermal creation from freeze-out. Thermally created scalar and vector Higgs portal dark matter masses are constrained to be in the resonance region near half the Higgs mass, [Formula: see text], or above several TeV. The resonance region for these models will be tested by XENONnT and LZ. The full mass range up to the unitarity limit can be tested by DarkSide-20k and DARWIN. Fermionic Higgs portal dark matter with a pure CP odd coupling is constrained by the Higgs decay width, but has strongly suppressed recoil cross sections which cannot be tested with upcoming experiments. Fermionic Higgs portal dark matter with a combination of CP even and odd Higgs couplings can be constrained by the direct search experiments.

Electroweak baryogenesis can be driven by the top quark in a general two Higgs doublet model with extra Yukawa couplings. Higgs quartics provide the first order phase transition, while extra top Yukawa coupling ρtt can fuel the cosmic baryon asymmetry through the λtImρtt product, with flavor-changing ρtc coupling as backup. The impressive ACME 2018 bound on the electron electric dipole moment calls for an extra electron coupling ρee for exquisite cancellation among dangerous diagrams, broadening the baryogenesis solution space. The mechanism suggests that extra Yukawa couplings echo the hierarchical structure of standard Yukawa couplings. Phenomenological consequences in the Higgs search and flavor physics are discussed, with μ and τ EDM touched upon.

Abstract:
We argue that the consistent implementation of the multiple point principle (MPP) in the general nonsupersymmetric two-Higgs doublet model (2HDM) can lead to a set of approximate global custodial symmetries that ensure CP conservation in the Higgs sector and the absence of flavor changing neutral currents (FCNC) in the considered model. In particular, the existence of a large set of degenerate vacua at some high energy scale Λ caused by the MPP can result in approximate U(1) and Z2 symmetries that suppress FCNC and CP-violating interactions in the 2HDM. We explore the renormalization group (RG) flow of the Yukawa and Higgs couplings within the MPP inspired 2HDM with approximate custodial symmetries and show that the solutions to the RG equations are focused near quasifixed points at low energies if the MPP scale Λ is relatively high. We study the Higgs spectrum and couplings near the quasifixed point at moderate values of tan β and compute a theoretical upper bound on the lightest Higgs boson mass. If Λ ≳ 1010 GeV the lightest CP-even Higgs boson is always lighter than 125 GeV. When the MPP scale is low, the mass of the lightest Higgs particle can reach 180–220 GeV while its coupling to the top quark can be significantly larger than in the SM, resulting in the enhanced production of Higgs bosons at the LHC. Other possible scenarios that appear as a result of the implementation of the MPP in the 2HDM are also discussed.

Abstract:
We analyse the impact of explicit CP-violation in the Higgs sector of the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM) on its consistency with the Higgs boson data from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Through detailed scans of the parameter space of the complex NMSSM for certain fixed values of one of its CP-violating (CPV) phases, we obtain a large number of points corresponding to five phenomenologically relevant scenarios containing ∼125 GeV Higgs boson(s). We focus, in particular, on the scenarios where the visible peaks in the experimental samples can actually be explained by two nearly mass-degenerate neutral Higgs boson states. We find that some points corresponding to these scenarios give an overall slightly improved fit to the data, more so for nonzero values of the CPV phase, compared to the scenarios containing a single Higgs boson near 125 GeV.

Possible realistic scenarios are investigated in the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) Higgs sector extended by dimension-six effective operators. The CP-odd Higgs boson with low mass around 30–90 GeV could be consistently introduced in the regime of large threshold corrections to the effective MSSM two-doublet Higgs potential.

The Higgs boson mass problem is considered in the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model. The Higgs potential and the renormalization group equations for the gauge, Yukawa and scalar coupling constants are analyzed. Abstract:
We discuss a two-generation left-right symmetric model with two Higgs bi-doublets and a discrete symmetry to show that spontaneous CP violation arises as a result of soft breaking of the discrete symmetry. The contributions to the CP violation parameter ε in the [Formula: see text] transition come from the box diagrams due to WL-WR exchanges as well as from the mixing of the real and imaginary parts of the flavor changing neutral Higgs at the tree level and both contributions depend on the relative phase difference between the vacuum expectation values (vevs) of the relevant neutral Higgs scalars. Other CP violating effects in the model are consistent with their experimental values for the appropriate choice of the model parameters. The extension of the model to the realistic case of three generations of fermions does not appreciably change the phenomenology of the model.

Abstract:
Many models of Electro-Weak symmetry breaking predict two Higgs doublets, and thus five Higgs bosons, three of which are neutral (h, H, A). The Minimal Supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (MSSM) predicts the coupling of the bottom quark to the CP-odd scalar A to vary as tan β. The sum of the production of the CP-even scalars, h and H, is also proportional to tan 2 β. After searching for neutral Higgs bosons in multi-jet events containing three or more bottom-quark jets collected at the Tevatron by the DØ detector during Run II, we can exclude tan β > 80 – 120 for 90 GeV < mA < 150 GeV.

Abstract:
We calculate the mass of the lightest neutral CP-even Higgs in the frame work of the supersymmetric reduced minimal 3-3-1 model (SUSYRM331) at one-loop level. Like MSSM, at tree level this value of mass is smaller than that of \(m_Z=92\) GeV, inconsistent with value of 125 GeV measured by recent experiment. In this work we prove that the mass of the lightest neutral CP-even Higgs will get the consistent value if loop corrections are included.

Abstract:
I study indirect CP violation for neutral kaons, and extend it to large values of the CP-violating parameter (taken to be real). I show how and at which condition there can exist a continuous set of basis in which the kinetic and mass terms in the Lagrangian can be diagonalized simultaneously. An ambiguity results for the mass spectrum, which then depends on the basis. In particular, for fixed (positive) (mass)2 of the CP eigenstates [Formula: see text], and for certain ranges of values of the CP-violating parameter, a negative (mass)2 can arise in the CP-violating basis. Under certain conditions, even a small perturbation, lifting the ambiguity, can drastically affect the pattern of masses. These investigations extend in a natural way to indirect CP violation among a set of Higgs-like doublets. The C-odd commutator [Formula: see text], or its equivalent for Higgs multiplets, plays an important role. The condition for its vanishing and its consequences are among the main concerns of this work.

As the U(1) extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model, the U(1)XSSM has new superfields, such as right-handed neutrinos, and three Higgs singlets. In the U(1)XSSM, the lightest CP-even Higgs mass mh0 is studied by using the Higgs effective potential with one-loop corrections. We also calculate the Higgs decays h0→γγ, h0→VV(V=W,Z), h0→ll¯Z, and h0→νν¯Z. The obtained results are reasonable, and they are in favor of the study of the Higgs characteristic and the phenomenology of the U(1)XSSM.

We compute the baryon asymmetry generated at the electroweak phase transition by the Higgs scalar sector of the minimal supersymmetric standard model. Because of large enhancement effects from low momentum modes, Higgs particles may be responsible for the observed baryon asymmetry even though CP-violation in the Higgs sector only appears at the one-loop level. We also discuss the approximations made in the analysis and suggest possible improvements.

Abstract:
We discuss a left-right symmetric model with two Higgs bi-doublet and spontaneous P and CP violation. The flavor changing neutral currents is suppressed by assuming approximate global U(1) family symmetry. We calculate the constraints from neural K meson mass difference ΔmK and demonstrate that a right-handed gauge boson W2 contribution in box-diagrams with mass around 600 GeV is allowed due to a negative interference with a light charged Higgs boson around 150 ~ 300 GeV. The W2 contribution to ɛK is suppressed from appropriate choice of additional CP phases appearing in the right-handed Cabbibo-Kobayashi-Maskawa(CKM) matrix. The model is found fully consistent with B0 mass difference and the mixing-induced CP asymmetry measurements.
