The concept of pressure is formalized in a variable way according to the scale of the description and the state (static or dynamic) of the studied fluid. In a school context, pressure is mainly introduced as a quantity describing, at the macroscopic level, static systems. Despite this confinement to situations of equilibrium, many difficulties of understanding have been brought to light by research in didactics. While some proposals have already been submitted to improve the teaching of pressure-related phenomena, the state of the art shows that many difficulties identified in the literature remain unsolved. Moreover, a historical reconstruction of the emergence of the concept of pressure in the 17th century reveals a mechanistic representation of nature which contrasts with the contemporary hydrostatic representation. However, a preliminary empirical investigation highlights a correlation between the understanding of a situation involving a liquid at rest and its apprehension by these two cumulated representations. Thus history of science appears as a promising tool in the perspective of improve the teaching of pressure-related phenomena. This research therefore consists of a didactic reconstruction, that is to say, the development of a resource based on the history of science to teach pressure. A corpus of letters on the questions of vacuum and the gravity of the air in the 17th century has been drawn up. The choice of this privileged material is governed by the desire to offer a resource making it possible to define objectives other than conceptual ones, in particular to improve the image that students have of the Nature of Science (NoS). The appropriation and the transformation of the corpus by teachers were analyzed within the framework of the documentary approach of didactics. It follows from this last study that the exploitations made by teachers are mainly for cultural purposes, and convey a watered-down image of NoS

This work is the first overall study of martin luther's correspondence (1483-1546) almost all his 2650 letters are examined in the light of historical, theological and literary approaches. After an overview (circumstances of composition and distribution ; latin or german language ; encoding), six chapters investigate the literary genres of the correspondence : information, petitions and recommendations, advice, controversy, apology, comfort (trost). Within each genre, topical and chronological divisions underscore the wide range of luther's missives. For his demonstrative letters sequences and breaks within the theological argumentation are underlined as well. The thousand informative letters emphasize that for luther every event is part of a struggle between god and evil. The rest of the correspondence modulates this pattern according to luther's aims, literary genre and addressees. A few detailed analyses complete our generic and topical study. Many comparisons with the epistolary tradition (treatises and correspondence) enhance the special features of his letters as well as their contribution to the transformations of the epistolary style. The parallelism drawn with the other writings of the reformer makes it possible to place the correspondence within luther's complete works

Deputación’s civil servant of the Kingdom of Aragon and settled in Madrid in the first third of the XVIIth century, Gerónimo Dalmao y Casanate keeps up a weekly correspondence with his authorities. Blazed by unceasing clashes, relationship between central power and peripheral power (this one deeply attached to its institutional and cultural identity) are one of the underlying points of theses epistolary exchanges which never contest the Monarch’s person. With a solid and efficient intelligence network, large supports and a family interdependence, this letrado - also a penetrating observer doubled of a fine diplomat - turns his different master trumps to good account to make his very well fixed plans of career taking shape. He cleverly moves into the double Castilian and Aragon space’s service in spite of their often conflicting interests. Moreover, the analysis of the missives’ tenor comes to light a dimension lying beyond a mere administrative communication. An undeniable “proto-journalese” performance arises from his writings as the chosen objects of this study show : domestic politics, illness and death, feasts and entertainment, and news in brief. Being a man and a witness of his times, Gerónimo Dalmao offers multiple, complementary and contrasting lights of a reality where History keeps closed to anecdote in the Golden Age spanish stage for better or for worse. The Aragon man passes beyond this reality as chronicler to the collective memory’s service

Our study entitled “variations of forms in Mbochi language (Bantu C25)” is considered as part of the Bantu historical linguistics. It identifies and locates the ten Mbochi dialects through a dialectometric analysis. It shows that Mbochi is a Bantu language spoken in the northern part of Republic of Congo, mainly in the Cuvette (in the districts of Boundji, Ngoko, Tchikapika and Oyo) and Plateau (in the Ongogni districts Ollombo, Abala Alembé) departments. It has ten dialects (Olee, Mbonzi, Tsambitso, Ngilima, Bokwele, Bonyala, Ngae, Obaa, Eboyi and Ondinga). Our analysis targets a better understanding of the underlying language mechanisms of linguistic diversity of Mbochi and is focused on sound, morphological and lexical variations from one dialect to another. It highlights the differences and similarities between these dialects. It also presents a phonological and morphological description of the current Mbochi dialects (synchrony). It examines the phonological and morphological correspondences to the proto-bantu before reconstructing the phonemes and morphemes of proto-Mbochi, the hypothetical source of the current Mbochi dialects. This study divides the Mbochi dialects into three main sub-groups according to their phonological and morphological similarities. It shows both the impact of geographical proximity and that of language contact in the diversification of these dialects
