Cordier, Christophe. "Insertion professionnelle et intégration des conseillers en génétique : une nouvelle coopération dans le domaine de la santé." Thesis, Aix-Marseille, 2013. http://www.theses.fr/2013AIXM5055/document.
The profession of genetic counselors was founded in Europe in the 1980’s in the United Kingdom. In France, it began in 2005 under the aegis of a law, following the report on the demographic situation in the Health professions (Berland 2002 /2004). Today, after seven years, we number 122 graduated genetic counselors that can work in a variety of settings in multiple specialty areas of human genetics. How these new non-medical practitioners are integrated into multidisciplinary services of genetics? How are they recruited and with which status? What are the responsibilities entrusted to them? How are they perceived by geneticists working with them? What is their position at European level? First, we performed a literature survey to trace the history of the creation of this new profession. To answer the underlined questions, we used socio-epidemiological studies through the elaboration of surveys regarding the education, the role and practice of genetic counselor. Studies were addressed to both genetic counselors and geneticists. Among the 122 graduated genetic counselors," 94 are employed (77%). They are able to manage consultations only when no medical act is required. However, the responsibilities are dependent on the relationship established between the genetic counselor and the medical geneticist. Overall, this profession has quickly settled in France and is the only one having a law at the European level. Although this survey emphasizes inequalities in the practice of this new profession as well as discrepancies regarding the administrative aspects, genetic counselors are increasingly being integrated into all levels of healthcare service delivery

Since the end of « the 30-year post-war boom », the french employment and fight against exclusion policies have been trying to reduce the mass employment (Zoberman, 2011). At national and local levels, job integration plans are happening with greater frequency. However, this diversity make understandable the « insititutional confusing » typical for french job integration system (DARES, 2008) despite the government's desire to reduce this maze through « France Travail » (2023). While a number of academic studies have focused on buildings plans (Ebersold, 2005 ; Trindade-Chadeau) and evaluate the effects of theses plans on job-seekers (Hamzaoui, 2005 ; Wuhl, 1996), few studies have examined the actors in the integration sector, at the end of the employment policy chain. Based on this observation, our thesis, rooted in Work and Organizations Psychology, aims to analyze the professional practice of a specific population of insertion actors : "Revenu de Solidarité Active (RSA) advisors/referents". The french integration system is unique, it is at the crossroads between managerial logics aimed at reducing the number of jobseekers (Bajoit, 2005 ; Zwick Monney, 2015b) and more humanistic values herited from the social sector, which are better to take account of the singularity of jobseekers situations (Brégéon, 2008). In this particular context, how do RSA advisors/referents exercise and represente their professional role? Some RSA advisors/referents, for example, are more likely to adapt their practices to institutional prescriptions on employability. Others are more likely to seek a certain flexibility to take account of the specific situations of the people they support. Inscribed in a psychosocial perspective, the thesis aims to describe and account for the variability of guidance practices through the role orientation of RSA advisors/referents. With reference to the theoretical model of plural and active socialization (Baubion-Broye and al., 2013 ; Malrieu, 1989),we postulate hat the orientation of the professional role of these advisors/referents does not depend in a linear way based on institutional prescriptions, but is the result of a complex subjective activity - of intersignification - putting into perspective values, representations of self, others and work, which can sometimes be coherent with each other, or sometimes competing and a source of intrapersonal conflicts. This activity - not free from doubts and questioning - gives rise to a role orientation specific to each advisor. To account for this variability, we have developed a mixed methodology that articulates two empirical strands : an exploratory qualitative study and an extensive study. The qualitative exploratory study consists of semi-structured interviews with 12 RSA referents. A double analysis of the interviews - thematic and lexicometric via AlcesteEducation2018 - shows two predominant professional role orientations among RSA referents. An extensive questionnaire survey of 211 RSA advisors/referents showed that RSA advisors/referents are either involved in a conflictual dynamic in the orientation of their professional role, or in a dynamic of recognition of the orientation of this role. Both studies show a population that is mostly comfortable in their orientation in its professional role but that develops concerns for the future of its sector
Schmerber, Benoît. "Le "métier flou" de Conseiller en insertion professionnelle : des bricoleurs de l'accompagnement vers l'emploi à l'épreuve du libéralisme (Période 1985-2015)." Thesis, Reims, 2020. http://www.theses.fr/2020REIML002.
Over the past thirty years, public policies dealing with unemployment have relied on the work of professional job placement counselors from the private sector. This thesis aims to analyse this profession, its practices and its problems through the perspective of three questions: the specificities of the professionalization process, the trajectories of consultants and the components and mechanisms needed to build a professionalism. The data collection is based on the tradition of survey and field interviews, but also on a practice journal compiled when we were ourselves practitioners as well as a "representations collection" from other consultants. On top of an empirical knowledge of the profession, three theoretical models are requested to analyse the data: Weberian hermeneutics, Bourdieusian critical sociology and some elements from anthropology This thesis shows that the complex and contradictory issues from that field of activity are at the basis for an atypical process of professionalization in a job category that is now considered as fuzzy. On the other hand, more than just an academical training, becoming a consultant is part of a socialization path, both primary and secondary, leading to the acquisition of a habitus and some specific provisions related to individual trajectories. Lastly, another particularity resulting from the contradictions from that field and its unavoidable changeover to the logic of liberal economy, is that being able to persevere in this profession requires the development of a palliative, subjective and collective imaginary, based on a notion of commitment that goes beyond the framework of public procurement

This research is built in two parts. The first, entitled "Support in a context of persistent crisis", specifies the sociological evolution of young people and the conditions for setting up a structure intended for their social and professional integration. The second part, named: "Taking charge of the support process for young people by the advisers of the Mission Locale de Paris" describes support situations and shows how the advisers (CISP) use the devices of the Local Mission to integrate socially and professionally beneficiaries with very varied profiles. It also shows that the profession of CISP requires specific expertise and skills. However, although their barriers to employability have been reduced or eliminated, some people do not gain access to employment. According to the CISP, the beneficiaries encounter many difficulties in their integration process, including discrimination. It seemed important to us to deal with this question in the third part entitled: "The Counselor on social and professional integration in the face of discrimination: What support?". The purpose of this research is to show that the path of support for young people in social and professional integration is done through specific programs, a dedicated place - the local mission - with the help of a professional capable of carrying it out. - the counselor. Building the integration of young people as a social fact through support means entering a field of analysis that requires the mobilization of a theoretical framework situated at the crossroads of the sociology of youth, the sociology of public policies, the sociology of professional groups, the sociology of organizations, the sociology of expertise and the sociology of discrimination. This theoretical conception clarifies and organizes reality by bringing out the relevant questions ensuring a precise understanding of the phenomenon. It is not a thesis in administrative or legal science but rather in human sciences and specifically in sociology, which allows us to identify as much as possible a knowledge of the mode of support for active integration, integrating young people into society. and the world of work in a period of persistent crisis

This study was aimed at demonstrating, from a pragmatic point of view, that the electronic mail (EM) constitutes a full linguistic register, and that it combines, in an original way, some characteristics of written language, spoken language, and computer-mediated communication (CMC). Two communication situations were proposed to teenagers aged 11 to 15 years. .

This research considers the "social space of habitat" as one of the main factors involved in social and professional insertion pricesses, and more generally in construction of social identities. The poulation is constituted by urban and rural youngs registered in six different "missions locales" for insertion, in west of france. If they all have a low level of qualification and below to the working classes, they have different school background and degree of insertion. The social space of habitat yields the combination of different independant variables such as socio-professional categories of the parents, school attentance, insertion, geographics moves. The analysis of social and geographic cursus of the families allows to distinguish six types of insertion linked to their global social trajectories. In that sence, we believe that the social space of habitat appears as one of the most important factor of socialization

Avalos, Romero Job. "Latino-américains en France : insertion professionnelle et intégration (1973-2016)." Thesis, Limoges, 2018. http://www.theses.fr/2018LIMO0023.
As migrant subjects, Latin Americans are mostly identified in the US context, where they constitute a significant foreign population. However, with a significant quantitative evolution in Europe and France, they are beginning to find a place in European studies on international migration. If due to their cultural and historical ties, Latinos are mostly present in countries like Spain, Portugal or Italy, the Latin American communities also exist in France. Among them, political exiles from South American dictatorships is the most visible category. To a lesser extent, that of international students too, and since the 1980s, economic migrants emerged as a new profile. Considered as an "example of integration", this idealized image of Latin American refugees leaves behind certain aspects that are essential and inherent to integration, such as participation in the host society and especially access to the labor market. Supported by life stories, this doctoral research aims to analyze their life paths, with attention to the strategies they put in place to make possible a labor insertion increasingly restricted by the migration policies that concern them as non-European nationals. To do this, our discussion considers both the subjective element (perceptions, experiences, resources ans strategies mobilized) and the structuring ans objective elements such as migration policies and the different social relations migrants establish in the host country
Courtine, Daniel. "Le mode dysfonctionnel de la relation au projet professionnel chez des personnes en difficulté d’insertion." Toulouse 2, 2007. http://www.theses.fr/2007TOU20054.
The question of the dead ends of the professional project at the persons in trouble of insertion calls to the professionals. The project is widely studied by the social psychology, the sciences of the education, the sociology but few by the clinical psychology. So, the theoretical hypothesis proposed by this research defines the project from the relation (sense, values and against values, waits and refusals, unconscious elements (idealisation, sublimation, psychological function of the project, etc. ) between a subject and its object and it is, as such, that she leans on psychoanalytical concepts for, at first, to question these in the perspective of a clinical approach of the project s'question. For this approach, we propose an interpretation of the project on the model of the interpretation of the dream by considering that there would be a latent project and a overt project. This theoretical and abstract work allowed us to propose a model of clinical reading of the professional project (Lecture Récit Discours, Epreuve d' Anticipation). We also make the hypothesis, always in a psychodynamic perspective, of a dysfunctional Mode of the relation to the professional project the presence of which could explain partially the not realization of the project at persons in difficulties of insertion. This dysfunctional Mode, for which we propose a symptomatology, would be linked to the presence of a psychic suffering (self-esteem (SEI), depression (IDA-13), feeling of shame or of fault (graphes dimensionnels) which the professional project would have function to decrease. Characteristics of the personality such as the metamotivational télic and paratélic states (TDS), the locus of control (NELC-IE), the coping (ETC) would also play a role in the risk of entrance to the dysfunctional Mode

This thesis analyses how working-class families have adapted their strategies of reproduction since the sixties, following the transformations undergone by school and labor market. The first part studies why most workers now aspire to see their children access executive jobs. More and more, their wish is even to see their children succeed in the profession of their choice, provided they do well in their studies. This is no less than a cultural revolution: parents now put all their hopes in school outcomes, rally in support of their children's school work, and engage in steering them towards general secondary schools. Depending on the quality of primary school apprenticeships, three different types of educational paths stand out: successful careers involving students who get through their “bac general” diploma without repeating a grade, unsuccessful careers involving students who leave school early or with no diploma, and in between, a diversity of median careers, from difficult to mediocre. The second part shows how the transition to work of those children growing up in working-class families partly depends on the quality of their school experiences. The strategies adopted by parents who use their relations for their children to access employment, on the other hand, contribute to maintain children in subordinate positions. Long study strategies are then compared to the results obtained. Whereas professional education leads more and more to subordinate positions, degrees beyond the “bac” appear as being the weapon of the weaks: not only do they remain efficient to access executive positions, but they are still the best protection to avoid being unemployed and declassified

This research presents the results of a study conducted with young graduates of the restaurant industry (young cooks). If restoration is an area that has a high turnover rate, paradoxically, itis also one of the sectors where the lack of workforce is the highest. In general, this thesis aims to reflect the different types of difficulties and constraints that interfere with the integration and stabilization of young kitchen graduates (cooks) and to shed light on their professional situation, three years after leaving the school system. The results of this research highlight four main types of difficulties faced by young chefs, namely the difficulties associated with structural conditions in the labor market, the difficulties associated with the operating logic of the restaurant industry, the social and family difficulties and difficulties related to attitudes and characteristics of young people themselves. To cope with these types of difficulties, young cooks use three types of strategies: strategies for maintaining and stabilizing their employment, strategies to get out of the employment or the restaurant industry, and finally strategies of gradual divestment from the labor market

The capability approach (CA) is a theoretical framework, proposed by Amartya Sen, for the evaluation of individual and social situations. The goal of the dissertation is to assess the relevance of this framework in order to analyse the role of institutions in the field of employment and social inclusion policies. Relying on the two notions of “functionings” and “capability”, Part One develops this framework with regard to two issues related to the deployment of public action: the conversion of resources into freedom of choice, and the articulation between individual and collective responsibilities. Part Two deals with the “operational” character of the CA and offers a critical survey of the different empirical attempts in the literature. Part Three develops the framework in order to study, on the one hand, school-to-work trajectories for young people with low levels of qualification, and on the other, the public schemes that try to act upon these trajectories. It relies both on a statistical longitudinal analysis and a qualitative observation of the implementation, in 2002 in France, of a public scheme aiming at enhancing young people’s freedom of choice (“Bourse d’Accès à l’Emploi”). The approach eventually offers new perspectives to analyse public action at a situated level

This work deals with the evaluation of some public employment policies (alternated training programs, community jobs, courses for the initiation into the working life, training courses for the 16 to 25-year-olds) set up in France during the eighties to improve the labour market prospects of young people. It's based on the estimates of a multi-states multi-spells transition model and of a structural model of job search and transition among unemployment, training courses and employment. The econometric analysis is conducted on subsamples provided by the "suivi des chômeurs" survey collected by the INSEE over the period November 1986- May 1988. Estimates put forth the following results: the experience of subsidized jobs with alternated training periods increases the probability to accede to stable jobs at the end of a subsequent unemployment spell and is associated to a higher average duration for regular jobs; community jobs are associated with a highly probable re-entrance into public programs. It also appears that the experience of any employment program makes easier the transition to employment for least educated people, and that the experience of an alternated training contract induces higher job offers

We have studied the process of professionalization of trainers in social/professional integration (TSPI) as a mechanism of social differentiation, which has provided a good basis for comparison and has led to useful category-specific classifications. Our first investigation into the Midi-Pyrenees administrative region of France (10 interviews and 357 questionnaires) has allowed us to focus on the occupational class of TSPI. This class shows similarities and differences with the generic group of “trainers”. We have also observed a contradictory tension between two dynamics of professionalization: individuals tend to look alike more and more as their job routines and their functions are stabilizing, but they also tend to adopt a variety of job titles. It seems that his occupational class has been weakened by the proliferation of job titles, a clear sign – we think, of how hard it has been for them to stand up and be recognized as genuine professionals belonging to one single and identified line of business. Two focus groups, in relation with working and unemployed TSPI, have confirmed the following assumption: a process of professional differentiation operates when professionals share a common standard, made up with professional representations related to the justification of their job routines. This differentiation has also carried out functional identity-buildup and specific knowledge-acquisition processes specific. Thus the proficiency of TSPI consists in dealing with disadvantaged people through multiple approaches and methodologies. The object of this research is to present a statistical and economic analysis of the professional insertion geographical mobility's, from regional and individual data concerning the French college graduates'. The theoretical approach has allowed passing in review the different economic works that have incorporated the geographical mobility in their general diagrams, mainly the theory of human capital investment and that of job search. A particular attention has been granted to the different methodological approach and to the main technical problems linked to the study of the migratory phenomenon. In this context, the two levels approach, "micro and macro" of the analysis, has been retained so as to generated a convincing and complete interpretation of this particularly complex process. The empirical part is divided on two components, an aggregated analysis and a microeconometric processing of the interregional mobility. A first sweeping of the professional insertion geographical mobility's has been realized. A study of the regional attraction and retention of the new entrants on the labour market was formulated and tested. A test of the mobility mechanism has been then applied. The gravitational model has thus permits to analyze interregional flows and the "global" path of the insertion. In the micro-econometric approach a study of the regional choice has been approached, in a first step, and in the framework of a structural model of spatial allocation

Background: in Benin, the misknowledge of the reality of epilepsy and its consequencescould cause difficulties encountered by people with epilepsy (PWE) when searching for a jobbut also in the course of their professional career.Purpose: to study the employability and retention in employment of people with epilepsy inBenin. Methods: a first cross-sectional study (study 1) was conducted between 1st september and 30november 2012 with 300 people belonging to three categories of actors that can promote theemployability of the PWE (caregivers, employers and political decision-makers) and assesstheir knowledge, attitudes and practices against this disease and the PWE. A second crosssectionalstudy (study 2) was conducted between 1st july and 1st november 2013 in order tostudy the impact of epilepsy on employment and professional integration. A first comparisonwas made between a group of 51 PWE employees and a group of 51 PWE without work and asecond comparison was conducted between the same group of 51 PWE employed and a groupof 51 free employees of epilepsy in the same companies. Results: study 1 allowed to highlight that 93.0% of respondents had information on thedisease and 82.0% felt that a PSE could work. For nearly three quarters of respondents, epilepsy was a disease of natural origin, curable by antiepileptic treatments effective and noncontagious.Study 2 helped to highlight that 90.2% of the PSE to labour were active, inadequately controlled seizures with tonic-clonic predominating and that the age of onset ofthe first seizure was significantly later compared the PWE without employment. Analysis ofworkstations were 10 PWE exposed to routine professional tasks at risk (driving, working atheight or assignment to security positions requiring a weapon port). There was a certaininsecurity of the PWE with a larger proportion of term contract and a shorter workplaceseniority position with equal skills. Accidents at work, even if they were not more frequent, were more severe and longer off periods training. The PWE to work were more stressed thanother workers but the perception of the constraints of the psycho-social environment and theexperience of work was similar in the 2 groups. Conclusion: the lack of occurrence of epilepsy in the workplace remains the key integrationand retention in employment. Only suitable treatment associated with a regular lifestyle tocontrol seizures will consider the PWE as one worker like the others and avoiding anydiscrimination and stigma at work

For understanding profesional insertion in cameroon about students graduated from letters and social sciences. First we have try to replace firms capable of receiving them in the social, economic, political and also geographical context in hich they are. Consequently, in spite of collective conventions and other measuremnts in favour of employment, we were able to notice that firms pratices are not senseless when they sign on. Sometimes they belong to the realm of affective. In any case, these pratices change according to the origin of the firm's capital. Thereby, we can affirm that profesional insertion is also under the influence of sociocultural relational and psychological factors. In the second place, through conversation with students graduated from letters and social sciences, we were able to judge the incidence of several type of factors and distinguish some itineraries of insertion. The analysis of biographies they obtained, reveals that profesional insertion can be made as well on criterion of adherence to a group as to campetence while integrating the given informations on environment. This new problematic implies the existence of an individual strategy and fittings facing the social, cultural and economic environment

A survey over a six year period of time discloses the way 750 young people registered in three vocational schools in Nantes (september 1984) get inserted in adult life. The results show that this population is extremely diversified, as much as far their school experience is concerned (curriculum completion, exam results, further studies afterwards, etc. ) As in the way they get inserted in their professional life (whether or not they get employed, and for how long) or more particularly concerning their work experiences (job type, wage amount, practical working conditions, etc. ). Besides, the walue systems to which they adhere outside the professional sphere (leisure practices, professional plans for the future, successful life conception, etc. ) Reveals three distinct and coherent principles, depending on both sex and path of reference
