En el proceso de galvanizado de tubos de acero por inmersión en caliente, una etapa crítica es la inmersión de la pieza a recubrir en un baño de zinc fundido; la calidad y espesor de este recubrimiento depende de varios factores uno de los cuales es el tiempo de residencia de la pieza en el baño de zinc fundido. El tiempo de residencia es controlado por los mecanismos de inmersión y extracción del crisol de galvanizado, sin embargo, en las pailas de extracción manual resulta sumamente complicado controlar el tiempo de residencia, debido a la aleatoriedad de la acumulación de piezas su interior. En el presente trabajo se propone una configuración alterna del sistema guías del mecanismo de extracción de dicho tipo de pailas, modificando su geometría, para que de esta manera sea posible controlar la acumulación de piezas inmersas en un esquema de primeras entradas - primeras salidas. Sobre esta base se plantea la factibilidad de automatizar esta actividad, como consecuencia de la configuración propuesta.

Envisageant cet objectif, la stratégie mise en scène pour les officiers municipaux considère sourtout les mécanismes de pression sur les économies des autres noyaux urbains, éparpillés sur le territoire du Goias pendant le XVIIIe siècle. Autour de cette configuration, il est indispensable élargir notre champ d’observation afin de comprendre les événements et les relations tissées dans le champ politique du Goiás. La Sentencia N° 282-13-JP/19, dictada por la Corte Constitucional del Ecuador, introdujo el estándar de real malicia originado en el caso New York Times Co. vs. Sullivan para analizar las posibles limitaciones al derecho a la libertad de expresión en casos de publicación de hechos falsos y difamatorios sobre temas de interés público. La Corte Constitucional del Ecuador estableció que las personas involucradas en asuntos de interés público tienen a su disposición los mecanismos de réplica o rectificación para defender su reputación frente a la publicación de información que consideren falsa, inexacta o agraviante; y, únicamente en caso de que estos mecanismos resulten insuficientes, podrán acudir a la vía civil en la que se aplicará el estándar de real malicia. Este artículo analiza el origen del estándar de real malicia en el caso New York Times Co. vs. Sullivan con el objeto de identificar su naturaleza y sus finalidades como un escrutinio reforzado para protegerel derecho a la libertad de expresión y el principio de que el debate sobre asuntos públicos debe ser desinhibido, robusto y abierto. Para ello, examina la jurisprudencia de la Corte Suprema de Justicia de los Estados Unidos buscando conocer cuándo se activa la aplicación del estándar de real malicia y cómo deben entenderse sus elementos configurativos, y también reseña las principales críticas al estándar y los problemas prácticos que conlleva su implementación. Finalmente, sobre la base de estos hallazgos, se examina cómo se aplicará el estándar de real malicia en el Ecuador, en perspectiva de la Sentencia N° 282-13-JP/19, dictada por la Corte Constitucional del Ecuador. De esta manera, se realizará un análisis comparativo del ámbito de aplicación y de los elementos configurativos de este estándar foráneo, según el marco legal ecuatoriano.

Però les recurrències de contingut de les seves respectives disposicions organitzatives i normatives poden obrir múltiples vies a l'anàlisi empírica. En un primer esbós d'aquesta, el procediment comparatiu del present article vol transmetre la importància d'aprofundir en la naturalesa de les representacions socials partint d'un model interpretatiu prou ampli que consideri, entre altres, els següents temes: la sistemàtica d'ordinació dels diferents codis culturals i religiosos, el funcionament de les estructures de poder amb els seus mecanismes formals i informals de control social, i la configuració de les experiències religioses i dels processos interactius en el context de la comunitat normativa.El Movimiento Hare Krisna, la Orden Benedictina y Los Testigos de Jehová son instancias religiosas diferentemente legitimadas en nuestra sociedad. Pero las recurrencias de contenido de sus respectivas disposiciones organizativas y normativas pueden abrir múltiples vías al análisis empírico. Dans un premier temps, l'approche comparative de cet article veut mettre en lumière l'intérêt d'approfondir l'étude des représentations sociales en partant d'un model interprétatif suffisamment large qui considère, entre autres, les thèmes suivants: l'organisation systématique des différents codes culturels et religieux, le fonctionnement des structures du pouvoir avec ses mécanismes formels et informels de contrôle social, et la configuration des expériences religieuses et des procès interactifs dans te contexte de la communauté normative.The Hare Krishna Movement, the Benedictine Order, and Jehovah's witnesses are religious positions with different levels of legitimacy in our society. But recourse to the content of their respective organizational and nonnative positions can open up multiple paths to empirical analysis. As a first outline of this, the comparative procedure of the present article attempts to transmit the importance of looking in greater depth at the nature of social representations starting from an interpretive model which is sufficiently broad and which considers, amongst others, the following themes: the system of ordering of the different cultural and religious codes, the functioning of power structures with their formal and informal mechanisms of social control, and the configuration of religious experiences and interactive processes in the context of the normative community.

El presente artículo analiza las formas de trabajo y de modos de producción que configuran las plataformas digitales. Se plantea que en estas pueden emerger distintas formas de trabajo, pero que todas ellas responden a las transformaciones del neoliberalismo contemporáneo. Las formas en las que se dan sus configuraciones y las de sus procesos productivos, impulsan nuevas formas laborales y de producción que rompen con los modelos estándar para generar nuevas vías de producir plusvalías. El artículo se centra en los casos de Airbnb y diversas plataformas de reparto de comida y mensajería. Alguna de las características que se observan es que se trata de un tipo de trabajo invisibilizado, empresarial, que surge sobre lo reproductivo, que se articula sobre tiempo de trabajo no pagado, que impulsa dinámicas de individualización y aislamiento en el desarrollo de esta actividad o que genera una paradójica relación entre la sensación de autonomía y libertad como autónomos contrapuesta a un fuerte despliegue de mecanismos de control y organización del trabajo. Para llevar a cabo esta investigación se han realizado entrevistas abiertas semi-estructuradas a anfitriones de Airbnb y repartidores de Deliveroo, Glovo, Uber Eats y Stuart. The present paper analyses the ways of working and modes of production that configure digital platforms. It argues that different forms of work can emerge in these, but that all of them respond to the transformations of contemporary neoliberalism. The forms in which their configurations and those of their productive processes are given, promote new forms of work and production that break with the standard models to generate new ways of producing surplus value. The paper focuses on the cases of Airbnb and various food delivery and messenger platforms. Some of the characteristics that can be observed are that it is a type of invisible, entrepreneurial work that arises from the reproductive aspect, that is articulated on the basis of unpaid work time, that promotes dynamics of individualization and isolation in the development of this activity or that generates a paradoxical relationship between the feelings of autonomy and freedom as self-employed workers as opposed to a strong deployment of mechanisms of control and organization of work. In order to carry out this research, open semi-structured interviews were conducted with Airbnb hosts and Deliveroo, Glovo, Uber Eats and Stuart deliverers.

A 60 años de la aparición del primer libro de poemas de Ángel González -Áspero mundo, 1956- lo que todavía hoy resulta indiscutible es el inagotable poder de interpelación que su poesía sigue teniendo sobre nosotros, sus lectores. La propuesta de este artículo es intentar descifrar los mecanismos que rigen la sostenida vigencia de su voz, abordando su escritura poética desde una perspectiva que podríamos llamar en un sentido muy amplio “retórica”. Cuando hablamos de “perspectiva retórica” no nos referimos al sentido más restringido de la retórica, el que la reducía a la detección de tropos o figuras o a la identificación de moldes formales; por el contrario, nos referimos al carácter argumentativo y persuasivo del discurso. La intención es, entonces, acercarnos a este primer poemario del autor asturiano a partir del análisis del carácter (ethos) del sujeto que nos habla desde su poesía así como de los mecanismos desplegados para lograr una voz conveniente y convincente que nos conmueve a la vez que nos persuade para creer en aquello que dice. The purpose of this paper is to make an approach to the poetic work Áspero mundo (1956) of spanish writer Ángel González, attending mainly but not exclusively to discourse analysis from a rhetorical point of view. Our proposal is based on a wide interpretation of the notion of "rhetoric" which is not reduced to the simple detection of tropos or figures (which would correspond to the elocutio in classical rhetoric) or the identification of formal patterns (what would be equivalent to the so called dispositio), but in an open sense, understanding the term rhetoric as the study of the different persuasion technologies. We believe that through these rhetorical devices that are operated in the act of enunciation is possible to reconstruct a profile or configuration of the subject as well as that of the author (a poetic / authorial ethos).

La búsqueda discursiva de la institucionalización del diseño de interiores nos lleva a analizar el campo del hábitat en el que la arquitectura se ha convertido en la disciplina rectora, así, el diseño de interiores aparece como una especie de entropía. En la Teoría de los Campos de Bourdieu el diseño se "entromete" en términos de transformación y reconfiguración de ese campo, donde su emergencia no implica, necesariamente, la destrucción de las premisas disciplinares; más bien, la nueva disciplina emerge como un proceso inherente a la deconstrucción revolucionaria de la aparición de nuevas y novedosas formas, mecanismos, configuraciones y estructuras mismas, analizando, revisando y reinterpretando el fondo.

AbstractThe discursive search for the institutionalization of interior design leads us to analyze the field of habitat in which architecture has become the guiding discipline. Interior design appears as a kind of entropy. In Bourdieu's Field Theory, design "intrudes" in terms of transformation and reconfiguration of that field, where its emergence does not necessarily imply the destruction of disciplinary premises. Rather, the new discipline emerges as a process inherent to the revolutionary deconstruction of the appearance of new and novel forms, mechanisms, configurations and structures themselves, analyzing, revising and reinterpreting the background.

El desprestigio de los partidos tradicionales en Colombia ha contribuido, en gran medida, a la profundización de estudios que abordan la problemática del país desde una perspectiva política. Nuevas líneas de la modernización nacional considerando de manera privilegiada los rasgos esenciales y configurativos de los partidos conservador y liberal. Así mismo, se ha advertido la permanencia de los factores de la crisis del país y, en esa medida, se ha recurrido a su desciframiento histórico con el objeto de encontrar las raíces y las características de un largo desequilibrio entre los procesos de modernización y modernidad política. Dentro de esa tendencia, es posible estudiar a los partidos políticos en sus especificidades regionales y examinar el papel cumplido durante las coyunturas que han marcado el "desarrollo" capitalista del país, motivados siempre por el propósito de lograr conclusiones explicativas y comprehensivas de carácter global. En este sentido, el estudio de los partidos políticos en Antioquia -objeto de este trabajo- nos permitiría explicar: la relación entre los gobiernos de partido y los partidos políticos; los efectos que sobre el sistema político ha tenido la aplicación de gobiernos de partido; los mecanismos que han tenido los partidos políticos para articular y subordinar los poderes locales que se aglutinan en torno de los partidos, han alterado la organización jerárquica de las colectividades y han modificado la función de gobierno para ponerla al servicio de los intereses privados; y, finalmente, la manera como el Estado, por medio de sus agentes políticos, ha llegado a inmiscuirse como protagonista activo y parcializado en conflictos que involucraron a amplios sectores de la sociedad colombiana. Este escrito, que hace parte del proyecto de investigación del Instituto de Estudios Políticos sobre partidos políticos en Antioquia, se propone explicar algunos de los problemas planteados por las relaciones que se establecieron entre el gobierno y el partido conservador de Antioquia, en la coyuntura que va de 1949 a 1953, haciendo énfasis en sus propuestas de gobierno, en la identificación de los mecanismos organizativos de que dispusieron para aplicarlas y en la evaluación de algunos efectos que estas relaciones provocaron en algunas localidades del Departamento. Se parte de la aseveración según la cual el Estado y la sociedad colombiana estaban experimentando procesos de modernización económica desde el tercer decenio del siglo XX. Estos procesos tuvieron repercusiones sobre el régimen político colombiano, especialmente autoritario después de 1949, y sobre los partidos conservador y liberal, los cuales se esforzaron por afianzar los mecanismos de articulación y subordinación política tradicionales. Aquí afirmamos que los partidos políticos colombianos no solo permanecen a la zaga de los procesos de modernización, sino que se constituyeron en agentes obstaculizadores en la construcción de una institucionalidad política en términos modernos.

Este trabajo pretende sistematizar algunas de las reformas e inversiones relacionadas con la compra pública vinculada al Componente C11 del Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia («PRTR»), «Modernización de las Administraciones Públicas», a fin de identificar los riesgos y debilidades para la integridad de la contratación vinculada a la ejecución del Plan. Para ello se ha considerado la metodología del Sistema Nacional de Integridad, los hitos y objetivos contenidos en las Decisiones de Ejecución del Consejo y las evaluaciones realizadas por las autoridades de control. A partir de este enfoque metodológico se han identificado algunos de los riesgos y debilidades (endógenos y exógenos) del sistema de contratación español vinculados a la ejecución de los fondos del PRTR. Entre los riesgos se incluyen la posible corrupción y el fraude, el incumplimiento de las normas en materia de contratación, los cuellos de botella en la ejecución de los fondos de Recuperación y Resiliencia o el rendimiento ineficiente del Plan. Las debilidades endógenas se refieren a patologías sistémicas de nuestro sistema de contratación en términos de competencia y eficiencia, limitaciones en la trazabilidad y transparencia de la contratación vinculada al Mecanismo de Recuperación y Resiliencia («MRR»), insuficiencias en la capacidad administrativa, o deficiencias en el propio diseño del PRTR y de sus mecanismos de control y evaluación del rendimiento. Entre los factores de riesgo exógenos estarían las limitaciones en el propio diseño del mecanismo de recuperación y resiliencia que habrían condicionado, en su caso, la configuración de los Planes nacionales. The aim of this paper is to systematize the main reforms and investments related to public procurement under Component C11 («Modernisation of Public Administrations») of the Spanish Recovery and Resilience Plan («PRTR»). Our purpose is to identify the risks and weaknesses that could compromise the integrity of procurement linked to the implementation of the Plan. To this end, we have considered the methodological framework of the National Integrity System, the milestones and targets contained in the Council Implementation Decisions addressed to Component C11 and the evaluations carried out to date by the audit authorities. Based on this methodological approach, we have targeted some of the risks and weaknesses (endogenous and exogenous) of the Spanish procurement system related to the implementation of Recovery and Resilience Mechanisms («MRR») funds. Risks include potential corruption and fraud, non-compliance with procurement rules, bottlenecks in the execution of Recovery and Resilience funds or inefficient performance of the Plan. Endogenous weaknesses detected refer to some systemic pathologies in the competence and efficiency of our procurement system, constraints in the traceability and transparency of PRTR-related procurement, shortcomings in our administrative capacity, or deficiencies in the very design of the PRTR and its control and evaluation of performance mechanisms. Exogenous risk factors would be related to deficiencies in the design of the recovery and resilience mechanism itself, which would have conditioned the configuration of the national plans.

RESUMO: O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a demanda energética requerida por uma semeadora-adubadora para plantio direto, com diferentes configurações de sulcadores na implantação da cultura da soja, em áreas de várzea. O experimento foi conduzido em duas áreas agrícolas, tipicamente cultivadas com arroz irrigado, localizadas na região Central do estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Utilizou-se o delineamento de blocos aleatorizados, em arranjo bifatorial, sendo avaliadas quatro configurações de sulcadores (haste sulcadora, haste sulcadora com sistema tapa-sulco, disco ondulado e disco duplo), em duas áreas de características distintas (área agrícola 1 e área agrícola 2). As variáveis estudadas foram: força na barra de tração, velocidade real de trabalho, patinamento das rodas motrizes do trator e consumo específico de combustível. Com base nas análises dos resultados obtidos neste estudo pode-se afirmar que, os mecanismos sulcadores influenciam na demanda energética do conjunto mecanizado, independentemente da área agrícola. O consumo específico de combustível com o uso de hastes sulcadoras quando comparado aos discos foi 0,7 vezes menor, para ambas as áreas. ENERGY DEMAND OF IN SOYBEAN SOWING WITH DIFFERENT FURROWER CONFIGURATIONS ABSTRACT: This research aimed to evaluate the energy demand required by a seeder-fertilizer for direct planting, with different configurations of furrowers in the implantation of soybean culture, in lowland areas. The experiment was conducted in two agricultural areas, typically cultivated with irrigated rice, located in the central region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. A randomized block design was used, in a bifactorial arrangement, and four furrow configurations (shank, shank with furrow-groove system, corrugated disc and double disc) were evaluated in two areas with different characteristics (agricultural area 1 and agricultural area 2). The variables studied were drawbar pull, real travel speed, the slippage of the driving wheels of the tractor and specific fuel consumption. Based on the analysis of the results obtained in this study, it can be said that the furrow mechanisms influence the energy demand of the mechanized set, regardless of the agricultural area. A indústria automobilística visa desenvolver veículos com melhor desempenho e os materiais compósitos atingem este quesito pois apresentam alta resistência mecânica e baixa densidade. Visando aplicar tal material para a confecção da proteção das polias CVT de um carro BAJA, este trabalho tem como objetivo estudar o comportamento ao impacto dos materiais compósitos, variando a orientação das fibras, em comparação ao aço 1010. Foram conduzidos ensaios de impacto Charpy no material metálico e no compósito nas configurações unidirecionais (0° e 90°), 0°/90°, ±45° e 0°/90°/±45°. Os resultados obtidos mostraram influência dos defeitos gerados no processamento e a absorção de maiores valores de energia decorrente dos mecanismos de liberação de energia dos materiais compósitos. Adicionalmente, foi observado que a configuração ±45° apresentou um melhor desempenho, sendo a melhor opção.The industry is increasingly required to develop vehicles with better performance and composites materials are often the first option due their high mechanic resistance combined with low density. In order to apply this material on CVT protection of BAJA style car, this work main purpose was to study the impact behavior of the carbon fiber and epoxy resin composites, varying the fiber orientation, and compare to the SAE 1010 steel. For that reason, it were performed Charpy impact tests on the steel and on the unidirectional (0° and 90°), 0°/90°, ±45° and mixed (0°/90°±45°) configurations composite material. The results showed that defects inserted during the manufacturing process provided a huge influence on their energy absorbed. It was seen that higher energy absorbed occurred due damage mechanisms release energy. As a conclusion, the ±45° showed the best performance.

Este artigo objetiva apresentar dados de pesquisa concluída com a intenção de levantar/problematizar questões sobre configurações de feminilidades que cercam as professoras da educação básica, as violências a que estão sujeitas e as estratégias utilizadas para resistir e, portanto, avançar em prol de uma visão emancipatória de docência. A partir das trajetórias de vida, acessamos informações de cinco professoras que não se encaixam em normalizações de gênero padrão: uma heterossexual, que vive livremente sua sexualidade, seus prazeres; uma transexual; uma lésbica, uma negra e lésbica e um professor que performatiza uma drag queen. As questões disparadoras foram: como estas docentes performatizam uma visão de feminilidade? Que violências emergem dessas performances? Que mecanismos de resistência lançam mão contra estas violências? Utilizamos o conceito de “conhecimento venenoso” como ferramenta de análise. Dentre os diversos achados, ressaltamos a possibilidade de pensar em outras configurações da categoria “mulher” para resistir aos preconceitos, às discriminações, às violências de gênero. Há indícios de que outras feminilidades habitam o espaço da docência, indicando uma resistência à homogeneização/universalização do conceito de feminilidade, apontando para uma concepção plural, qual seja, feminilidades outras na docência.Palavras-chave: Feminilidades docentes. From the life trajectories, we access information from five teachers who do not fit into standard gender normalizations: a heterosexual who lives freely her sexuality, her pleasures; a transsexual; a lesbian, a black lesbian, and a teacher who performs a drag queen. The triggering questions were: how do these teachers performatize a vision of femininity? What violence emerges from these performances? What mechanisms of resistance do they resort to? We use the concept of "poison knowledge" as a tool for analysis. Among the several findings, we highlight the possibility of thinking of other configurations of the category "woman" to resist prejudice, discrimination, and gender violence. There are indications that other femininities inhabit the teaching space, indicating a resistance to the homogenization / universalization of the concept of femininity, pointing to a plural conception, that is, other femininities in teaching.Key words: Teaching femininity. The city of Guayaquil is a territory in which economic actors play a central role in the configuration of subnational power. This has generated a kind of pseudo- or half-finished democracy in which, although elections are held, there is only one actor, the Madera de Guerrero Social Christian Party, representing the local economic elite that has held power since 1992. Following the theory of Edward Gibson, this situation can be viewed as sort of subnational authoritarianism: the parochialization of power, the nationalization of influence, and control of institutional and noninstitutional links have allowed this subnational power to achieve local control and influence in the national arena during various periods. La ciudad de Guayaquil representa un territorio donde los actores económicos juegan un papel central en la configuración del poder subnacional, haciendo de los espacios de representación política su mecanismo legitimador y su fuente de negociación local y nacional. Para algunos investigadores del caso, esto ha generado una suerte de seudodemocracia o democracia a medias en la que, si bien se celebran elecciones, a la vez encontramos un solo actor en escena, el Partido Social Cristiano Madera de Guerrero, representante de la élite económica local en el poder desde 1992. Siguiendo la teoría de Edward Gibson bien se podría hablar de una suerte de autoritarismo subnacional: la parroquialización del poder, la nacionalización de sus influencias y el control de los vínculos institucionales y no institucionales han hecho de este poder subnacional una fuerza que ha logrado un control local y una influencia en la arena nacional durante varios períodos.

ResumoA máquina é social antes de uma configuração técnica, ela é produção antes de reprodução. A máquina se opõe à estrutura, ao mecanicismo e implica finitude, destruição e criação. O texto aborda a partir do pensamento de Deleuze-Guattari a ideia de rostidade, passando pelas configurações de subjetivação, bem como seus possíveis atravessamentos pelas dobras da educação. Como a educação pode fomentar o rosto? Que agenciamentos atravessam nessa produção maquínica de subjetivação? Como Deleuze-Guattari compreendem a produção da rostidade? Um rosto não é encontrar ou procurar, nem equivale a fomentar um conceito, mas ele passa por maquinismo e por um conjunto de vigilância. Ele também fomenta resistência, cava espaço de invenção, produz seus desdobramentos, configurando um verdadeiro criacionismo. Sobre ele, há uma guerra, uma labuta diária que leva a educação e seus processos a se arrastarem por dobras (im)possíveis. Não se chega em um rosto acabado, finalizado, sendo, portanto, uma batalha, uma guerra diária para a criação do rosto. Do mesmo modo que não há um solo unificado, mesmo na luta permanente para compor um rosto universalizante. Pela superfície do rosto navega a multiplicidade, permitindo embaralhar a máquina de codificação. ResumoA emergência das sociedades de controle trouxe um novo agenciamento que reformulou as formações sociais. O objetivo deste artigo é refletir sobre as novas configurações das instituições a partir da intensificação da axiomática do capital e do surgimento do diagrama de controle. Realizamos uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a obra de Gilles Deleuze e de pensadores contemporâneos. Diferenciamos as instituições abstratas e as instituições concretas para nos referir ao complexo fenômeno das instituições. Discutimos a troca do código pela axiomática do capital enquanto mecanismo predominante de operação social. Esta substituição fez que as instituições tradicionais entrassem num processo de transição a uma nova forma social que denominamos de instituições imateriais. AbstractThe emergence of societies of control has brought a new type of assemblage that is reformulating social formations. The purpose of this paper is to reflect on new institutional configurations from the point of view of the intensification of the axiomatics of capital and the emergence of the diagram of control. Through a literature review on the work of Gilles Deleuze and other contemporary thinkers, we differentiate between abstract and concrete institutions to express to the complex phenomenon of institutions. We discuss the replacement of the code by the axiomatics of capital as the predominant mechanism of social operation. This substitution has required traditional institutions to embark on a transitional process towards a new social form which we call immaterial institutions. A justificativa para este estudo é o crescente interesse sobre o assunto, sobretudo nos meios acadêmicos, militares, nas áreas de Defesa e Segurança e em áreas policiais, visando também à grande necessidade de informar, analisar, investigar e alertar todos os cidadãos sobre os perigos e os riscos aos quais toda a sociedade está exposta. The paper aims to show the criminal acts network within the Deep Web. The rationale for this study is the rising interest on the subject, especially in the academic, military, defense and security areas and in police areas, seeking as well the great need to inform, analyze, investigate and alert all citizens about the dangers and the threats society has been exposed to. It is a need to continue with new researches and point out original mechanisms to combat these cyber crimes, develop better software (browser, antivirus, firewall, etc.) and its ideal configuration for a secure access to this network layer. At Deep Web, the search depends on everyone’s choice.

Este artigo é resultado de uma pesquisa, cujo objetivo foi o de identificar as representações sobre a morte e seus rituais que circulam em nossa sociedade e os significados que se mobilizam nesse processo. Para isso, foram utilizados os mecanismos de marketing e comercialização de objetos fúnebres em funerárias da região central de Curitiba/PR e a etnografia de um velório. A morte é compreendida como um ritual que condensa simultaneamente a separação, a passagem e a agregação. O estudo revela como os significados, que emergem desses rituais, foram se transformando ao longo da história das sociedades ocidentais, passando por importantes processos de medicalização e, inclusive de higienização, que agora são mobilizados e comercializados pelas funerárias. Esses processos incidiram diretamente na forma como as pessoas expressam seus sentimentos frente à morte de alguém e à inevitabilidade de seu próprio morrer, bem como na maneira de organizar e compreender os cerimoniais fúnebres. Estas transformações estabelecem novos significados para as noções de público e privado, redefinindo suas fronteiras e constituindo novas configurações semânticas sobre a morte.Abstract: This article is the result of a piece of research the objective of which was to identify the representations about death and its rituals that circulate in our society and the meanings that are mobilized in this process. For this purpose, we used the marketing and commercialization mechanisms surrounding funereal objects in undertakers in the central region of Curitiba/Paraná and the ethnography of a wake ceremony. Death is understood as a ritual that condenses separation, passage and aggregation simultaneously. The study reveals how the meanings that emerge from these rites gradually changed along the history of the Western societies, going through important medicalization processes, (including hygiene) that are now mobilized and commercialized by the undertakers. These processes influenced directly the way people express their feelings when confronted with someone’s death and the inevitability of their own dying, as well as the way they organize and understand the funereal ceremonies. These changes established new meanings for the notions of public and private, redefining their borders and developing new semantic configurations about death.Keywords: Death. Funereal rites. A dinâmica da vegetação no espaço e no tempo sempre se apresentou como uma incógnita para os estudiosos das geociências. No Brasil, a expansão e retração vegetacional aparece como uma problemática ainda maior devido à complexidade e diversidade de paisagens. Assim, esse artigo aborda o processo de expansão e retração de cerrados e caatingas durante o Período Quaternário segundo a ótica da Teoria dos Refúgios e dos Condicionantes Geoambientais. A perspectiva da Teoria dos Refúgios, baseada em estudos de interpretação de paleoclimas, de paleossolos, de formas geomorfológicas e aliada a análises palinológicas e de carbono 14, se constitui um importante mecanismo para explicar a dinâmica fitogeográfica, principalmente no Brasil, a partir do Período Quaternário. Mas condições geoambientais regionais ou locais têm contribuído para a configuração atual da vegetação brasileira, principalmente do cerrado e da caatinga, que exigem certas características climáticas, geomorfológicas, pedológicas e hidrológicas do ambiente para se adaptarem. The Life Cycle Assesment LCA is a method used to quantify the environmental impact of a product or service along their life cycle. The tool offered is based on the LCA and will provide an easier and a visual comparative report to assess the impacts generated by two different facade's construction solutions. The source of the results are feed from a database composed of data from the Environmental Product Declaration which is a mechanism used for environmental communication. The Environmental Product Declaration is the most prestigious and well recognized mechanism due to the objectivity incurred on the data collection process. The tool enables selecting various facade's configurations through the combination of different layers. It was decided not to evaluate the actual environmental impacts with the aim of building a decision making tool where the technician will be able to go in depth for the specific impact of each material and identify and approach the important focal points using the comparative report. The LCA simplified tools represent a compromise for a precise evaluation, but it will be necessary to be realistic and transparent about their limits as stated at the end of the paper.ResumenEl Análisis de Ciclo de Vida (ACV) es un método que sirve para cuantificar el impacto ambiental de un producto o servicio durante su ciclo de vida. La herramienta permite seleccionar distintas configuraciones de fachada mediante la combinación de diferentes capas. Se ha decidido no ponderar los impactos con el fin de la herramienta sea un asistente de decisión, donde el técnico pueda profundizar hasta el impacto específico de cada material para poder identificar los focos graves de impacto y actuar en consecuencia, teniendo siempre como referencia el carácter comparativo del informe. Las herramientas de ACV simplificadas representan un compromiso en la precisión de la evaluación, pero es necesario sean realistas y transparentes respecto a sus límites, que se presentan al final del escrito.

Com o crescimento populacional, cresce a necessidade de fontes de água doce, seja na configuração de poços, rios, riachos ou lagos. Por outro lado, observa-se um contínuo e crescente processo de degradação em função do despejo de esgotos in natura ou tratados, de fezes de animais, além dos efluentes resultantes das atividades industriais. Em vista da intrínseca relação da falta de tratamento da água e enteroparasitoses, o objetivo desta revisão de literatura é atestar sobre os principais parasitas intestinais detectados, suas características e doenças associadas. Para a realização deste trabalho, foi feita uma busca nas bases de dados Google acadêmico, SciELO e PubMed, entre os anos de 2009 a 2017, totalizando 39 publicações. As enteroparasitoses são doenças que tem como agentes etiológicos helmintos ou protozoários intestinais. Os danos dependem diretamente de fatores como a espécie parasitária que provocou a contaminação, intensidade da infecção, e o estado nutricional e imunológico do hospedeiro; além disso, a orientação quanto às formas de transmissão e a conscientização sobre a correta higienização evitam a disseminação. Dessa forma, é imprescindível a realização de campanhas de conscientização a respeito da poluição das águas como mecanismo disseminador de doenças. Bem como, maiores investimentos no que tange ao saneamento básico como forma de interceptar tais agentes etiológicos.

With population growth, there is a growing need for freshwater sources, whether in the configuration of wells, rivers, streams or lakes. On the other hand, there is a continuous and increasing process of degradation due to the discharge of fresh or treated sewage, animal feces, as well as effluents resulting from industrial activities. In view of the intrinsic relation of the lack of water treatment and enteroparasitoses, the objective of this literature review is to attest to the main intestinal parasites detected, their characteristics and associated diseases. For the accomplishment of this work, a search was made in the databases Google academic, SciELO and PubMed, between the years of 2009 to 2017, totaling 39 publications. Enteroparasitoses are diseases that have etiological agents helminths or intestinal protozoa. The damage depends directly on factors such as the parasitic species that caused the contamination, the intensity of the infection, and the nutritional and immunological state of the host; in addition, guidance on ways of transmission and awareness of proper sanitation avoid dissemination. In this way, it is essential to carry out awareness campaigns on water pollution as a dissemination mechanism of diseases. As well as, greater investments in basic sanitation as a way of intercepting such etiological agents.

La tecnología ha devenido, hoy en día, un factor primordial de cuyo adecuado empleo depende en gran medida el funcionamiento de los diversos contextos del aprendizaje humano. La teoría ecológica del aprendizaje considera el factor tecnológico como un componente especialmente relevante. Además, las tecnologías digitales están potenciando el desarrollo de nuevas oportunidades de aprendizaje que trascienden las fronteras temporales y geográficas, y propician sistemas que rompen el encorsetamiento de las estructuras de formación formal dando paso a ambientes flexibles, expandidos y diversos desde los que se favorecen mecanismos de aprendizaje informal. Desde esta perspectiva, y de cara a la construcción de tales contextos, resulta conveniente disponer de un marco de referencia paradigmático acerca de las oportunidades que las TIC puedan presentar y, paralelamente, valorar también la problemática asociada a su empleo. Para la identificación de este elenco de affordances tecnológicas, hemos seguido el método Delphi, en cuyo desarrollo han colaborado diversos expertos nacionales e internacionales. El análisis de resultados confirma el papel destacado de los usos tecnológicos en los contextos de aprendizaje actuales, y desvela su funcionamiento en íntima relación con los demás componentes que los integran. Resaltan no solo los aspectos potenciadores del aprendizaje, como son, entre otros, la facilitación de diversas herramientas de comunicación, acceso e intercambio de información, su potencialidad para la creación de vínculos entre personas y comunidades, y la transformación de los roles educativos. Se desvela también la emergencia de ciertas barreras en su empleo, como la ausencia de estrategias de uso. En este sentido, y siempre sobre la base del análisis de la configuración concreta de cada contexto, de sus elementos e interrelaciones, puede manejarse un marco de referencia general de affordances tecnológicas que sirva de guía para el desarrollo de una ecología de aprendizaje auténtica. Currently technology has become a primary factor in the various contexts of human learning, that depend, in a large extend, on the proper use of ICT. The ecological theory of learning considers the technological factor as a particularly relevant component of learning contexts. In addition, digital technologies are driving the development of new learning opportunities that transcend temporal and geographical borders and favor systems that break the confinement of formal training structures, giving way to flexible, expanded and diverse environments that generate informal learning mechanisms. From this perspective and with a view to the construction of such contexts, it seems convenient to have a paradigmatic frame of reference of the opportunities that ICTs can present. To identify this list of technological affordances, we have proceed through the Delphi method, in whose development various national and international experts have collaborated. The analysis of results confirms the prominent role of ICT in modern learning contexts and their operation in close relationship with the other components that comprise them. Their affordances for improving learning can be highlighted, such as, among others, the facilitation of various communication tools, access and exchange of information, their potential for creating links between people and communities, and the transformation of educational roles. In this sense, and always on the basis of the analysis of the specific configuration of each context in question, its elements and interrelations, a general framework of technological affordances can be used to serve as a guide for the development of an authentic learning ecology.

FR. S’appuyant sur les outils des sciences du texte, cet article s’attache à décrire la textualisation de la compétition sportive dans la presse. Pour ce faire, le corpus servant de base à la description des caractéristiques du compte rendu est extrait de la presse généraliste nationale, considérée comme une forme médiane sur les plans formels et thématiques. A été sélectionnée une compétition d’un empan sociétal suffisamment important pour être traitée dans la PQR, et dont les relations intergroupes permettent de faire jouer les logiques d’opposition structurales caractéristiques des discours sur le spectacle sportif, i.e. les parcours européens des clubs français de football. Sont analysées les 10 saisons de 7 clubs français (de 1955 à 2018), ayant atteint la finale, choix permettant de traiter de la feuilletonnisation complète de la compétition. Cette approche syntagmatique est doublée d’un traitement paradigmatique (thématiques et poétique des comptes rendus). Le corpus, travaillant les permanences, est abordé sous les angles rhétoriques (mécanismes et formes du discours épidictique, contenus topiques), argumentatifs (justification et jeux sur les valeurs) permettant de construire une macro-narration (logiques de feuilletonnisation et rappels mémoriels). La presse ne constituant pas tant un moyen de découvrir les matches, qui sont retransmis par les médias audiovisuels, qu’un lieu d’accès à leur analyse, il est montré que cette configuration donne une fonctionnalité autre au compte rendu : rééquilibrer les chances des adversaires afin de susciter l’envie de voir les rencontres à venir. En effet, le dispositif de couverture des campagnes footballistiques semble davantage être une textualisation de celles-ci qu’une textualisation du/des journée(s) du calendrier sportif. Il s’agit de mettre en place une tension narrative permettant au ressort émotionnel de jouer, comme de justifier, au regard du principe de pertinence médiatique, la narration du match.

EN. Resorting to the tools of textual sciences, the article aims at describing the textualization of sports competition in the press. The text corpus from which we establish the characteristics of the sports accounts was extracted from national mainstream press, considered as middle ground in terms of forms and themes featured. Selected narratives deal with one championship with sufficient societal importance to be covered by the regional daily press, and whose inter-group relations bring to light the structural oppositional dynamics characteristic of discourses on the sporting show, i.e. the careers of French clubs on the European soccer scene. In order to observe the serialization of the championship, the reports of 10 seasons played by 7 French clubs who reached the finals between 1955 and 2018 were analyzed. This syntagmatic approach is coupled with a paradigmatic analysis, taking into consideration the themes and poetics of the sporting reports. The corpus, building on permanencies, was approached from the angles of rhetoric (mechanisms and forms of the epideictic discourse, topical contents) and of argumentation (justification and play on values), allowing the construction of a macro-narrative (logics of serialization and memorial reminders). Since the sports events are broadcast by audiovisual media, the press is not consulted as a means to follow the scores. Rather, it gives game analysis details. Such a configuration gives another functionality to the reports, by rebalancing the chances of the opponents in order to spur desire of supporters to watch the forthcoming matches. The coverage of soccer tournaments seems indeed to be more a textualization of the latter than a textualization of the day(s) of the sports event. The goal is rather to set up a narrative tension which plays as much on the emotional cord as it justifies, with regard to the principle of media relevance, the account of the game.

PT. Com base nas ferramentas das ciências textuais, este artigo tenta descrever a textualização da competição esportiva na imprensa. Para tal, o corpus que serve de base à descrição das características da reportagem é retirado da imprensa nacional em geral, considerada como mediana a nível formal e temático. Foi seleccionada uma competição com âmbito societário suficientemente grande para ser tratada no PQR, e cujas relações intergrupais permitem pôr em prática a lógica de oposição estrutural característica do discurso sobre o entretenimento desportivo, ou seja, os percursos europeus de clubes franceses de futebol. São analisadas as 10 temporadas de 7 clubes franceses (de 1955 a 2018), tendo chegado à final, permitindo tratar da serialização completa da competição. Esta abordagem sintagmática está associada a um tratamento paradigmático (temático e poético das reportagens). O corpus, ao trabalhar as permanências, é abordado desde ângulos retóricos (mecanismos e formas do discurso epidítico, conteúdo tópico), argumentativos (justificativas e jogos de valores) permitindo a construção de uma macro-narração (lógica da serialização e de lembretes de memória). A imprensa não constituindo tanto um meio de descoberta dos jogos, que são veiculados pelos meios audiovisuais, como um local de acesso às suas análises, mostra-se que esta configuração confere uma funcionalidade diferente à reportagem: reequilibrar as possibilidades dos adversários, a fim de despertar o desejo de ver os próximos encontros. Na verdade, a cobertura das campanhas de futebol parece mais uma textualização delas do que uma textualização do(s) dia(s) do calendário esportivo. Trata-se de estabelecer uma tensão narrativa que permita que as competências emocionais joguem, bem como justifiquem, no que diz respeito ao princípio da relevância mediática, a narração do jogo.

Abstract This article analyzes the (formal and informal) role of control mechanisms in fostering (proactive and reactive) organizational resilience of financial technology startups (fintechs), considering the moderating effect of environmental unpredictability. First, there is little evidence on formal and informal control mechanisms in the context of organizational resilience. Second, studies on management controls focus on some resilience approaches, however, they do not address resilience from a proactive and reactive perspective. Third, the literature on the effects of environmental unpredictability on contemporary organizations, like the fintechs, is still scarce. On the one hand, new evidence is added to the literature on management control and organizational resilience, the understanding of antecedents of resilience in startups is expanded, and insights are provided on the effects of environmental unpredictability on the alignment of management controls and objects of control. On the other hand, insights are provided on control mechanisms that fintechs can benefit from to building organizational resilience, both to anticipate and prepare and to act and formulate responses in the face of business disruptions and uncertain times. The findings benefit the building and strengthening of resilience in fintechs, which becomes key for these startups to survive and consolidate themselves in the financial market. Data have been collected by survey and analyzed through structural equation modeling. Additional investigation has been conducted via fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis. The main results reveal that: (i) formal and informal control mechanisms foster proactive and reactive organizational resilience; (ii) in scenarios of high environmental unpredictability, greater attention given to informal controls results in higher proactive resilience levels; and (iii) there are four (five) organizational configurations that lead fintechs to high proactive (reactive) resilience.

The objective of this study is to analyze the polarization responses derived from the airborne sensor SAR R99-B data (L-band) in areas of primary forest, secondary successions and forest with timber exploitation and those under recovery after a burning. In addition, we perform an exploratory analysis of the scattering mechanisms of each forest typology using an alternative procedure for SAR image classification based on target decomposition. The study site is located in the Tapajós region, Pará State (Brazil). Polarization response graphs were obtained by plotting the normalized cross-section of the forest targets, on a three-dimensional surface plot as a function of the orientation and ellipticity angles. The resulting surfaces were visually compared and the configuration of each plot was analyzed with support of physiognomic-structural information collected during forest inventories. The distinction between single and multiple scattering mechanisms was done by the association of entropy and alpha angle values derived from target decomposition for each sample area. Some results can be mentioned: (a) compared to areas of secondary succession, primary forests tend to present polarization responses with a higher pedestal, indicating greater variability in terms of scattering mechanisms; (b) for all thematic classes investigated, the distribution of pixels in the entropy-alpha angle classification space was more frequent at zones 4, 5 and 6, indicating the predominance of scattering processes with medium entropy. This study improves the understanding of the interaction mechanisms between L-band SAR signals and structural parameters of tropical rainforest, supporting inventory and the monitoring of forest in the Amazon region.

Resumo: No sudeste de Minas Gerais é reconhecida a organização geomorfológica em degraus escalonados associados às principais bacias hidrográficas. O contato entre esses degraus se estabelece através de escarpas, cujo contexto exibe, ainda, vales suspensos de diferentes dimensões e capturas fluviais. Essas capturas apresentam-se como o indicador sobre a evolução das bacias e ampliação dos degraus topográficos. O potencial erosivo das bacias situadas em posição inferior é evidenciado como elemento responsável por esses processos. Entretanto, diferentes mecanismos podem estar associados à evolução de escarpas e capturas fluviais. As análises realizadas neste trabalho se fundamentam na interpretação de componentes espaciais de drenagem e relevo distribuídos em diferentes cenários geomorfológicos que, a depender do contexto espacial, apresentam características distintas. Na organização geomorfológica geral da superfície os resultados notadamente indicam forte contribuição de condicionantes estruturais em escala local em detrimento daqueles manifestos em escala regional. A superfície topográfica superior, organizada sobre morfogênese mais antiga, ao ser incorporada à inferior passa a responder ao novo condicionamento estrutural dessa, que se superimpõe sobre a antiga superfície. A dimensão dos vales suspensos está relacionada à orientação dos canais na borda das escarpas, estes organizados segundo controles estruturais em escala local. Os maiores vales tendem a apresentar drenagens perpendiculares ao avanço dos fluxos sobre a escarpa e, por consequência, facilitam a ocorrência de capturas em ponto de maior ordem hierárquica. Vales suspensos de menor dimensão podem estar relacionados à interceptação da drenagem em área de menor ordem hierárquica ou ao seccionamento do canal fluvial no mesmo sentido do fluxo remontante. Nesse processo, o controle estrutural e sua direção são fundamentais permitindo maiores ou menores capturas fluviais segundo sua organização espacial. Palavras-chave: Vale suspenso. Captura fluvial. RELATED CONFIGURATIONS AND PROCESSES TO SPATIALITY OF THE GEOMORPHOLOGICAL SCENARIOS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE STAGGERED STEPS OF SOUTH-EAST MINAS GERAIS - BRAZILAbstract: The south-east of Minas Gerais is recognized for its geomorphological organization of the main river basins (Paraná, São Francisco, Doce e Paraíba do Sul) associated with the in the form of staggered steps. The contact between these steps is established through escarpments, the context of which also shows hanging valleys of differing dimensions and river captures. These captures present as an indicator as to the evolution of the basins and the enlargement of the topographic steps. The erosive potential of the basins situated in inferior positions is shown as the component responsible for these processes. However, different mechanisms may be associated with the evolution of the escarpments and river captures. The analyses carried out in this study are based in two scales of approach: regional and local. The regional scale was based on recognition and spatialization of different geomorphological scenarios. For such, the established criteria were the size of the hanging valleys, position of the hanging valley in relation to the escarpment and evident structural conditioning. From the recognition of the different scenarios the most representative scenarios were selected and, on a local scale, its geomorphological drainage and relief components were mapped. The analysis of the spatial configuration of such elements evidenced important mechanisms with implications for the evolution of the area. Within the general geomorphological organization of the surface, the results are notable for indicating a strong contribution from local structural determinants as opposed to those manifested on a regional scale. The dimension of the hanging valleys is related to the orientation of the channels at the edges of the escarpments, these being organized according to local structural controls. The largest valleys tend to present drainage perpendicular to the advance of flow over the escarpment and, as a consequence, facilitate the occurrence of captures at a point of greater hierarchical order. Smaller hanging valleys may be related to the interception of drainage in an area of lower hierarchical order, or to the sectioning of the fluvial channel in the same direction as the flow of drainage headboards. This set of identified elements converge converge to a geomorphological framework that marks an evolution conditioned by local geological structures. Such structures allow the occurrence of river captures according to their spatial organization of different spatial dimensions and, in some cases, the configuration of a new scenario that overlaps a more recent structural pattern over an older one after incorporating the surface altimetrically higher than lower.Keywords: Hanging valley. Le contact entre ces marches est établi à travers des escarpements, où les vallées suspendues de différentes dimensions et les captures fluviales sont courantes. Ces captures sont des indicateurs cohérents de l’évolution des bassins et de l’expansion des marches topographiques. Le potentiel d’érosion des bassins situés en position basse est mis en évidence comme un élément responsable de ces processus. Cependant, différents mécanismes peuvent être associés à l’évolution des escarpements et des captures fluviales. Les analyses réalisées dans ce travail reposaient sur deux échelles d’approche: régionale et locale. L’échelle régionale était basée sur la reconnaissance et la spatialisation de différents scénarios géomorphologiques. A partir de la reconnaissance des différents scénarios, les plus représentatifs ont été sélectionnés et, à l’échelle locale, leurs composantes géomorphologiques de drainage et de relief ont été cartographiées. L’analyse de la configuration spatiale de ces éléments a montré des mécanismes importants ayant des implications pour l’évolution de la région. Dans l’organisation géomorphologique générale de la surface, les résultats indiquent notamment une forte contribution des facteurs de conditionnement structurelles à l’échelle locale au détriment de celles qui se manifestent à l’échelle régionale. La dimension des vallées suspendues est liée à l’orientation des cours d’eau au bord des escarpements organisés selon les contrôles structurels locaux. Les plus grandes vallées ont tendance à avoir des drainages perpendiculaires à l’avancée des cours d’eau sur l’escarpement et, par conséquent, facilitent la survenue de captures à un point d’ordre hiérarchique supérieur. Les vallées suspendues plus petites peuvent être liées à l’interception du drainage dans une zone d’ordre hiérarchique inférieur ou à la coupe de cours d’eau dans le même sens que le flux en amont. Cet ensemble d’éléments identifiés converge vers un cadre géomorphologique qui signale une évolution conditionnée par des structures géologiques locales. Ces structures conduisent à l’installation des captures fluviales en fonction de leur organisation spatiale de différentes dimensions spatiales et, dans certains cas, la configuration d’un nouveau scénario qui chevauche un schéma structurel plus récent sur un plus ancien après l’incorporation de la surface altimétriquement supérieure à la surface inférieure. Cybersecurity policies help ensure the operation of network communication devices used in hospital data centers, since administrators can easily implement mechanisms to mitigate attacks and vulnerabilities without affecting the operation of these devices. In this work, the ISO 27032 standard was selected to follow the four-phase guidelines: understanding the organization, risk analysis, action plan, and implementation, which allowed for proposing the necessary cybersecurity policies for the network infrastructure in a Huawei device. First, the vulnerability tests were carried out with the OPENVAS and Yersinia tools, establishing the probability of attacks like MAC-ARP, DHCP Starvation, STP attack, Vlan hopping, etc. Through the respective configurations and enabling functionalities, it was possible to mitigate a significant amount of 98% of the existing vulnerabilities in the initial state of the hospital network infrastructure.

Resumen
Las políticas de ciberseguridad permiten asegurar el funcionamiento de los equipos de comunicación de red en una infraestructura tecnológica hospitalaria, ya que los administradores pueden implementar mecanismos de mitigación a ataques y vulnerabilidades, evitando afectar el funcionamiento de estos dispositivos. En este trabajo se tomó como referencia la norma ISO 27032 para seguir los lineamientos de cuatro fases: entendimiento de la organización, análisis de riegos, plan de acciones e implementación, que permitieron proponer las políticas de ciberseguridad necesarias para la infraestructura de red en equipos de marca Huawei. En la primera etapa se realizó las pruebas de vulnerabilidades con las herramientas OPENVAS y Yersinia, estableciendo la probabilidad de ataques tales como MAC-ARP, DHCP Starvation, ataque STP, Vlan hopping, entre otros. Mediante las respectivas configuraciones y habilitación de funcionalidades, se pudo mitigar una cantidad significativa del 98% de las vulnerabilidades existentes en el estado inicial de la infraestructura de red hospitalaria.

ABSTRACTThe family at transnational, linked through glocal home, constitutes a reality that, unlike what is assumed, builds relationship processes beyond the co-presence and co-residence. In the configuration of the new experience, the family resorted to practices that make it possible to interconnect and sustainability of relational and binding sense. "Homework," emerges as educational practice in expressing content type cognitive, affective and experiential allowing the scaffolding, learning and relationship. Through homework process builds interactivity and educational influence mechanisms are deployed. Reflection corresponds to one of the findings of a research process interpretative case study, based from the sociocultural constructivism. The unit of observation, analysis and interpretation is the sequence of joint activity that the family (the girl and her grandmother in the classroom setting and the girl and her mother virtual scenario) constructed from the completion of a school assignment. The analysis is organized around three levels of interactivity structure, semiotic analysis and negotiation of meanings.RESUMENLa familia en situación de transnacionalidad, vinculada a través del hogar glocal, se constituye en una realidad que, a diferencia de lo que se supone, construye procesos de relación más allá de la copresencia y la corresidencia. En la configuración de la nueva experiencia, la familia recurre a prácticas que le hacen posible la interconexión y la sostenibilidad del sentido relacional y vinculante. “La tarea escolar”, emerge como práctica educativa en la que expresan contenidos de tipo cognitivo, afectivo y experiencial que permiten el andamiaje, el aprendizaje y la relación. A través de la tarea escolar se construye un proceso de interactividad y se despliegan mecanismos de influencia educativa. La reflexión corresponde a uno de los hallazgos de un proceso de investigación interpretativa de estudio de caso, fundamentado desde el constructivis-mo sociocultural. La unidad de observación, análisis e interpretación es la secuencia de la actividad conjunta que el grupo familiar (la niña y su abuela en el escenario presencial y la niña y su madre escenario virtual) construyen a partir de la realización de una tarea escolar. In this paper, we discuss and reflect on the outcome of the undergraduate course, “Adaptive Architecture”, which took place at the Department of Architecture (Technical University of Crete), during the winter term of 2011-2012. In this course, we examined the challenging potential of the ideas and practices of the architectural avant-garde of the 1960’s as inspiration for design within the contemporary urban, social and technological environment. Students had to synthesize the visions embedded in projects by Cedric Price, Archigram, Constant, and Yona Friedman, with current technological developments and social conditions by revisiting their radical agendas. The projects that came out of the course included ideas such as modularity and extensibility, mobility and nomadic lifestyle, adaptation through responsive mechanisms, networked urban systems and a shift from the “hardware” of urban space -the built environment- to the immaterial architecture of “software” infrastructures and network configurations. The course and its outcome verified that the architectural avant-garde is a locus of virtuality, a place where possible futures can be fertilized. It places questions and opens up debates about the possible shift in the disciplinary limits of architecture and the role of the architect in shaping contemporary urban experiences.Neste texto, vamos discutir o resultado do curso de graduação, "Arquitetura adaptável", que teve lugar no Departamento de Arquitectura (Universidade Técnica de Creta), durante o período de inverno de 2011-2012. Neste curso, que analisou o potencial desafiador das idéias e práticas da vanguarda arquitetônica da década de 1960 como inspiração para o design contemporâneo dentro do ambiente urbano, social e tecnológico. Os alunos tiveram de sintetizar as visões embutidos em projetos por Cedric Price, Archigram, constante e Yona Friedman, com a actual evolução tecnológica e as condições sociais, revisitando suas agendas radicais. Os projetos que saíram do curso inclui idéias como a modularidade e extensibilidade, mobilidade e estilo de vida nômade, adaptação através de mecanismos ágeis, sistemas de rede urbana e uma mudança do "hardware" do espaço urbano-ambiente construído para a arquitetura imaterial da "software" de infra-estruturas e configurações de rede. O curso e seu resultado verificado que a vanguarda arquitetônica é um locus de virtualidade, um lugar onde os futuros possíveis pode ser fertilizado. Ele coloca questões e abre debates sobre a possível mudança nos limites disciplinares da arquitetura e do papel do arquiteto na formação contemporâneos experiências urbanas.

En este trabajo de investigación abordamos los mecanismos narrativos de la novela El largo viaje (1963), escrita por Jorge Semprún a modo de cierre vital de su experiencia en el campo de concentración nazi de Buchenwald. De esta manera, identificamos dos elementos fundamentales en la estructuración de la novela y que tienen una dimensión funcional insoslayable: las trampas de la memoria y la clandestinidad en el exilio. Cada uno de ellos, además, orientados hacia desvirtuar continuamente cualquier sentido único o cualquier certeza irrevocable. Por así decirlo, todas las categorías de las escrituras del yo se cumplen en esta magnífica novela, pero Semprún consigue dar un paso más allá. Su potencia literaria radica en la construcción de una narración memorialística, autobiográfica y en diferentes grados ficcional, pero convirtiendo dicha experiencia literaria en una realidad compartida y polifónica en el marco de la experiencia concentracionaria. En definitiva: el uso de la fragmentariedad desde el polo de la emisión del discurso, así como el empleo de la técnica del collage narrativo, no son estrictamente semprunianos, como es natural. Pero sí destacan en esta obra por tener una configuración todavía moderna y marcada por las vicisitudes históricas de toda una generación europea. In this research we tackle the narrative mechanisms of the novel Le Grand Voyage (1963), written by Jorge Semprún as a vital closure of his experience in the Nazi’s concentration camp of Buchenwald. In this way, we identify two fundamental elements in the novel’s structure and which have an unavoidable functional dimension: the traps of memory and the secrecy in exile. Each of them, moreover, oriented towards continually distorting any single meaning or any irrevocable certainty. In other words, all the categories of the scriptures of the self correspond in this magnificent novel, but Semprún manages to go a step further. Its literary power lies in the construction of a memorial, autobiographical and different fictional storytelling, but turning said literary experience into a shared and polyphonic reality within the framework of the concentration experience. In short: the use of fragmentarity from the pole of speech issuance, as well as the use of the narrative collage technique, are not strictly Semprunian, as is natural. But they do stand out in this work for having a still modern configuration, marked by the historical vicissitudes of an entire European generation.

Resumo: O americanismo foi a resposta ao processo revolucionário iniciado com a Revolução Bolchevique (1917), como, também, pela “crise orgânica” aberta pela I Guerra Mundial. Neste contexto, a hegemonia das classes dominantes estava fragmentada, sendo que as duas forças sociais, a burguesia e o proletariado, disputavam a direção econômico-cultural no mundo ocidental. Mas, a corrida pela hegemonia se dava de modo desigual, onde as classes dominantes possuíam inesgotáveis mecanismos para a manutenção da sua dominação; por outro lado, as classes dominadas deveriam se unificar para poderem conquistar a hegemonia produtiva, enterrando, de vez, o modo de produção capitalista em conjunto com as suas relações de classes. Portanto, nessas condições, as classes dominantes utilizaram as revoluções passivas para reforçarem a sua direção fragilizada, retomando o consenso, e desarticulando as classes subalternas em processo de sublevação social. Por isso, Gramsci aponta que a implementação do americanismo na Europa ocorreu sob formas de extrema coerção, mas conservando as classes tradicionais fora do campo produtivo exigido pelo novo modelo de produção. The concept of passive revolution as an interpretative category Abstract: Americanism was the response to the revolutionary process initiated by the Bolshevik Revolution (1917), as well as by the “organic crisis” opened up by World War I. In this context, the hegemony of the ruling classes was fragmented with the two social forces, the bourgeoisie and the proletariat, disputing the economic-cultural direction in the Western world. But the race for hegemony was uneven where the ruling classes had inexhaustible mechanisms to maintain their domination; on the other hand, the dominated classes should be unified in order to conquer productive hegemony, burying, once and for all, the capitalist mode of production together with its class relations. Therefore, under these conditions the ruling classes used passive revolutions to reinforce their weakened leadership, resuming consensus and dismantling the subaltern classes in a process of social upheaval. For this reason, Gramsci points out that the implementation of Americanism in Europe took place under forms of extreme coercion, but keeping the traditional classes out of the productive field required by the new production model. Dessa forma, observa-se o potencial analítico do método para o estudo das orientações coletivas promovidas pela juventude, no sentido da construção de um estilo de vida em torno da cultura jovem, como fator preponderante para a configuração geracional. Em termos empíricos, este artigo propõe a abordagem do problema referente à marginalização da juventude de comunidades localizadas na periferia urbana do Distrito Federal, tendo por referência Ceilândia. Mais precisamente, o recorte analítico é o estilo de vida em torno da cultura hip-hop praticada por jovens no Distrito Federal, compreendido como mecanismo produtor de suas orientações coletivas. <p>: Este trabalho visa a analisar, à luz da constitucionalização do Direito Administrativo, as regulações expropriatórias, ou seja, a atividade reguladora do Estado que acaba por esvaziar a propriedade de sua utilidade ou valor econômico. A partir de breve exame sobre as características e efeitos da constitucionalização no Direito Administrativo, bem como sobre a proteção conferida, pelo ordenamento jurídico brasileiro, ao direito de propriedade, será tratada a atividade regulatória do Estado, dando ênfase à necessidade de uma renovação no tratamento jurídico-normativo da atividade expropriatória. Depois, serão investigadas as teses já elaboradas pela doutrina acerca das regulações expropriatórias. Serão ainda abordadas as contribuições da vasta doutrina e jurisprudência dos Estados Unidos sobre expropriações regulatórias. Será, então, examinada a evolução do posicionamento do Superior Tribunal de Justiça e do Supremo Tribunal Federal sobre as regulações expropriatórias, demonstrando-se que o tema ainda é controvertido na jurisprudência nacional e internacional. Em que pese não ter ainda a doutrina identificado critérios seguros para a identificação da caracterização de uma regulação como expropriatória, e nem mecanismos de limitação da atuação estatal nesses casos, constata-se que é possível a configuração de expropriação através de regulações, caso em que a regulação caracterizará desapropriação indireta, devendo receber o tratamento adequado.</p><p> </p><p>This essay aims to analyze, considering the constitutionalization of Administrative Law, the regulatory expropriations, in other words, the regulatory activity of the State that ends up deflating property’s utility or economic value. From a brief review over the particulars and effects of the constitutionalization of Administrative Law, as well as over the protection granted by the Brazilian law to the property right, it will be studied the State’s regulatory activity, focusing on the need of a renewal of the legal and normative handling of the taking activity. Afterwards, the theses already formulated by the scholars will be investigated. The contribution of the vast literature and jurisprudence of the United States will be also studied. Then, it will be examined the evolution of the understanding of the Brazilian Superior Court and the Federal Court of Justice over the regulatory expropriations, evidencing that the subject is still controversial in national and international jurisprudence. Although there have not been established safe criteria to identifying the configuration of a regulation as expropriatory, nor mechanisms for limiting State acting in these cases, this study endorses that it is indeed possible the setting of expropriation through regulatory activity, and, in this case, regulation will mean indirect taking, requiring the appropriate treatment.</p>

TopofiliaA presente reflexão tem origem na minha experiência como assistente da disciplina de projecto de Anne Lacaton e Jean-Philippe Vassal, professores convidados na École Polytechnique et Fédérale de Lausanne no ano de 2010/2011. No livro La poétique de l'espace, o filósofo francês Gaston Bachelard fala da problemática da imagem como un produit direct du coeur, de l'âme, de l'être et de l'homme. Bachelard evoca a imagem poética como aquela que se enraíza em nós e desencadeia a reflexão. Partilhando este conceito bachelardiano, o exercício de projecto apresentado aos alunos tratou a imagem como catalisador e motor de aprendizagem. Intencionalmente sem fornecer um programa, um lugar ou um contexto de intervenção, a proposta desafiou o aluno a produzir um projecto de arquitectura à semelhança de uma construção cinematográfica. Através de processos de adição, corte e colagem, transformação e deformação, o aluno analisou dispositivos espaciais e com eles construiu uma narrativa. Para além de se ter apresentado como uma abordagem alternativa ao exercício de projecto "convencional", este trabalho permitiu abandonar um estabelecido savoir-faire para gerar diferentes formas de aprendizagem e concepção da arquitectura a partir do seu interior. Ilustra-se aqui uma possibilidade de “ensinar pelo projecto” através de processos de inversão que permitem oferecer ao aluno outros mecanismos de investigação espacial. Lacaton and Vassal were visiting professors at École Polytechnique et Fédérale de Lausanne in 2010-2011. In his book La Poétique de l’Espace, the French philosopher Gaston Bachelard speaks of the image as un produit direct du coeur, de l’âme et de l’homme, a product of the heart, of love, and of Man. The author evokes the poetic image as one that is rooted in us and triggers our imagination. With this idea of the poetic image in mind, the design studio proposed an exercise to the students using image as catalyst and as a motor for learning. Intentionally without providing a programme, a site, or a context to intervene, the exercise challenged the student to produce an architectural design like a cinematic construction. Through processes of addition, cutting and pasting, transformation and deformation, students analysed spacial configurations and were invited to build a narrative. Besides being an alternative approach to the “standard” Design Studio exercise, this work allowed the student to put away an established savoir-faire in order to generate different forms of conceiving architecture within its interior space. Through systematic processes of inversion, the exercise provoked new mechanisms of conceiving architectural space, and offered a different possibility of “learning through design”.

Despite the distinctive character of the Austrian approach to «microfoundations for macroeconomics», the literature on free banking contains a number of arguments which make use of game-theoretic concepts and models such as the well-known Prisoner’s Dilemma model. While there can be no general a priori presumption against the possible usefulness of game-theoretic concepts for Austrian theorizing, in the context of the debate on free banking such concepts and models have been used with varying degrees of perspicacity. One example which is elaborated in the paper is concerned with the interaction configuration between independent banks in a fractional-reserve free banking system, which has sometimes been modeled as a One-Shot Prisoner’s Dilemma game. This conceptualization does not provide a sufficient argument for the in-concert overexpansion thesis, nor for the thesis that fractional-reserve free banking will tend to lead to the establishment of a central bank. The author drops the implicit assumption that there exists a one-to-one correspondence between the outcome matrix and the utility matrix. When it is acknowledged that banks in a fractional-reserve free banking system need not necessarily adopt a «myopic», self-regarding perspective but may recognize the long-run harmony of interests between the banking sector and society at large, a different conceptualization and a different matrix representation emerge.

Resumen: A pesar del carácter distintivo del enfoque austríaco de las «microfundaciones para la macroeconomía», la literatura sobre la banca libre contiene algunos argumentos que recurren a los conceptos y modelos de la teoría de juegos tales como el conocido modelo Dilema del Prisionero. A pesar de que no puede existir una presunción a priori sobre la posible utilidad de conceptos de la teoría de juegos para las teorías austríacas, en el contexto del debate sobre la banca libre tales conceptos y modelos han sido manejados con distintos grados de perspicacia. Un ejemplo elaborado en el documento comenta la configuración de interacción entre los bancos independientes en un sistema de banca libre con reserva fraccionaria, que a veces ha sido modelado como un juego de Dilema del Prisionero One-Shot. Esta conceptualización no ofrece suficientes argumentos para la tesis de la sobreexpansión in-concert, ni para la tesis de que un sistema de banca libre con reserva fraccionaria tendería a la creación de un banco central. El autor abandona la asunción implícita de que existe una correspondencia de uno a uno entre la matriz de resultado y la matriz de utilidad. Al reconocerse que los bancos en un sistema de banca libre con reserva fraccionaria no deben adoptar necesariamente una perspectiva «miope» y egoísta, pero pueden reconocer la armonía de intereses a largo plazo entre el sector bancario y la sociedad en general, surgen una conceptualización y representación de la matriz distintas.

Abstract. Resistance to antibiotics is a growing problem that imposes limitations on current therapy around the world. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends creating new antibacterial molecules to inhibit the most harmful bacteria by aiming at specific targets. Among such bacteria is multi-drug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a Gram-negative bacterium responsible for 70% of invasive infections worldwide. The aim of this investigation was to synthesize N-arylbenzylimines, examine their antibacterial activity against P. aeruginosa ATCC 27853, and determine their physicochemical properties by quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR/SAR) analysis. Seven N-arylbenzylimines were synthesized with yields ≥50%, all with the E-configuration (as shown by NMR spectra and confirmed with X-ray diffraction). The in vitro microbiological evaluations were carried out with the Kirby-Bauer method, following the guidelines of the Clinical & Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI). The N-arylbenzylimines produced a very good antibacterial effect on P. aeruginosa, with minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values ranging from 198.47-790.10 µM, calculated by the Hill method. Based on the slopes of the concentration-response curves, the mechanism of action is different between the test compounds and aztreonam, the reference drug. The QSAR study performed with in vitro experimental data found that biological activity correlates most significantly with molecular size, followed by lipophilicity and electronic effects. According to the SAR analysis of antibacterial activity, molecules cross bacterial barriers differently if they bear substituents with resonance versus inductive electronic effects. The physicochemical data presently described are of utmost importance for designing and developing new molecules to combat the pathogenicity and resistance of P. aeruginosa.
Resumen. La resistencia a los antibióticos es un problema en aumento que impone limitaciones en la terapia actual a nivel mundial. La Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) recomienda crear nuevas moléculas antibacterianas para inhibir las bacterias más dañinas por medio de dianas específicas. Pseudomonas aeruginosa, entre estas bacterias, es Gram-negativa, resistente a múltiples fármacos, y responsable del 70% de las infeccione invasivas en el mundo. El objetivo de esta investigación fue sintetizar N-arilbenziliminas, examinar su actividad antibacteriana contra P. aeruginosa ATCC 27853, y determinar sus propiedades fisicoquímicas mediante análisis cuantitativo de relación estructura-actividad (QSAR/SAR). Todos los siete N-arilbenziliminas sintetizados tuvieron rendimientos ≥50% y la configuración E (de acuerdo con la espectroscopía de RMN y la difracción de rayos-X). Las pruebas microbiológicas in vitro se realizaron mediante el método Kirby-Bauer, siguiendo las directrices del Instituto de Estándares Clínicos y de Laboratorio (CLSI). Las N-arilbenziliminas mostraron efecto antibacteriano relevante sobre P. aeruginosa, con valores de la concentración mínima inhibitoria (MIC) en el rango de 198.47-790.10 µM, calculado por el método de Hill. Las pendientes de las curvas de concentración-respuesta sugieren que el mecanismo de acción es distinto entre las N-arilbenziliminas y aztreonam, el fármaco de referencia. El analisis QSAR de los datos experimentales indica que la actividad biológica se correlaciona de manera más significativa con el tamaño molecular, seguida de la lipofilicidad y los efectos electrónicos. Según el análisis SAR de la actividad antibacteriana, las moléculas cruzan las barreras bacterianas en forma diferente si portan sustituyentes con efectos electrónicos inductivos versus de resonancia. Estos datos fisicoquímicos son de suma importancia en el diseño y desarrollo de nuevas moléculas para combatir la infección y resistencia de P. aeruginosa.

En esta tesis se presenta un estudio sistemático experimental y teórico de las emisiones neutrónicas pulsadas en descargas eléctricas en un plasma focus de baja energía. El estudio experimental consistió en una campaña realizada en el plasma focus PACO, operando con deuterio en un rango de presiones de carga entre 0,5 y 3,0 mbar, usando tres configuraciones diferentes de cátodos. Se analizaron exhaustivamente las señales eléctricas de cada descarga y se determinó la evolución de la inductancia de la lámina de corriente. A partir de esta información se obtuvieron valores medios y bandas de confiabilidad del radio y la longitud del pinch consistentes con leyes de escala empírica previamente publicadas. A su vez, en base a la variación de la inductancia en el colapso radial de la lámina de corriente se logró determinar la energía depositada en el foco, la cual corresponde a temperaturas efectivas medias entre 2 y 12 keV. Con estos resultados se propuso un modelo de pinch dinámico donde se incorporan perfiles radiales no uniformes de densidad y temperatura. La selección de los perfiles admisibles se hizo siguiendo el método de residuos ponderados, y se usaron como guía las mediciones ópticas reportadas por el grupo de plasmas de la Comisión Chilena de Energía Nuclear. Mediante este modelo se encontró una correlación que asocia la duración del pinch con el radio medio del mismo. Posteriormente, se aplicó este modelo para relacionar la producción neutrónica de cada descarga con los parámetros característicos del pinch, bajo la hipótesis de que las reacciones de fusión pueden explicarse mediante un mecanismo termonuclear. Proponiendo como función test un perfil radial gaussiano, se encontró que las mediciones de producciónneutrónica pueden describirse asumiendo una temperatura efectiva de reacción resultante del promedio ponderado de las distribuciones radiales. Finalmente, mediante procesamiento estadístico se logró determinar la variación del radio medio y la duración del pinch con la presión. This thesis presents an experimental and theoretical study of the relevant magnitudes characteristic of pulsed electrical discharges in coaxial geometries, operating at low deuterium pressure. The outcome of the study wasa comprehensive characterization of the pressure dependence of relevant magnitudes of the pinch, namely, the effective temperature, radius and lifetime. The experimental part of the thesis consists of a measurement campaign performed in the plasma focus PACO, operating between0.5-3.0mbar of deuterium, using three different cathodes. The analysis of the electrical signals of each discharge leads to the determination of the pinching time, the pinch current, and the inductance jump occurring during the radial collapse of the current sheath. Using this information it is possible to assess the size of the pinch, which isin agreement withtheknown scale lawsfor plasma focus devices. Moreover, the energy deposited on the pinch was estimated by processing the electrical signals, which corresponds to effective temperatures rangingfrom 2 to 12 keV. A model of dynamic pinch was then proposed, assuming a non-uniform radial profile of density and temperature, inspired by optically measured profiles reported by researchers of the Chilean Nuclear Energy Commission. Using this model, it is possible to find a relation between the lifetime and the average radius of the pinch. The model was also applied to associate the neutron yield with magnitudes of the pinch, assumingthat the fusion reactions can be described by a thermonuclear mechanism. It was found that the fusions can be explained using an effective fusion temperature resulting from the weighted average of the radial distributions. Finally, the pressure dependenceof the pinch radius and lifetime was calculated by statistically calibrating Gaussian radial distributionsfor each cathode configuration.

AbstractElectric utilities, challenged by a rapidly unfolding energy transition, use many informal institutions to bridge across technologies and sectors. Little is known, however, about how electric utility systems and other polycentric systems' institutions‐in‐use vary and evolve over time. We use a novel engaged research method, the Nominal Group Technique, to solicit current, future, and potential institutions‐in‐use from 66 staff and board members across 18 electric utilities in a shared electric system in Minnesota. Our questions focus on favored institutions for distributed energy resources like solar, electric vehicles, and batteries. Generating 578 ideas, we parse each into institutional statements using Institutional Grammar. We then identify institutional configurations for current and desired feedback pathways across different infrastructures and actor groups. Our results demonstrate the potential importance of structure and context‐related adjustment mechanisms in designing change for shared infrastructure systems and the potential importance of information and payoff rules. Theoretically, we advance understanding of change theories in polycentric governance systems, toward linear, parallel, recursive, and conjunctive dynamics that expand beyond evolutionary change theories. Utilizamos un novedoso método de investigación comprometida, la Técnica de Grupo Nominal, para solicitar instituciones en uso actuales, futuras y potenciales a 66 miembros del personal y de la junta directiva de 18 empresas eléctricas en un sistema eléctrico compartido en Minnesota. Nuestras preguntas se centran en las instituciones favoritas para los recursos energéticos distribuidos, como la energía solar, los vehículos eléctricos y las baterías. Generamos 578 ideas y las analizamos en declaraciones institucionales utilizando la Gramática Institucional, para ayudar a identificar configuraciones institucionales para las vías de retroalimentación actuales y deseadas en diferentes infraestructuras y grupos de actores.
