Abstract:
How can regulators keep up with sea changes in dynamic markets? This article proposes the use of competitive forces to generate innovative regulation. In markets where national, social, cultural, economic or other interests must be maintained in the face of evolving risks, heightened uncertainties and dynamic technological developments, regulators have to learn by doing. This article proposes the novel concept of intra-regulatory competition (IRC), a powerful method for developing innovative regulatory solutions by staging a contest between different regulatory regimes imposed simultaneously on market participants in a given jurisdiction. The article describes the principles of and justifications for IRC, conditions for its effective implementation, its potential benefits and drawbacks. IRC is analysed against the backdrop of similar concepts such as randomised law, experimental law and inter-jurisdictional competition. Finally, the article argues that the regulation of media content in order to promote cultural pluralism and the regulation of computerised trading in securities and futures markets are fields that are ripe for and compatible with the application of IRC.

Abstract:
Along with the development of the times in the field of technology, companies are increasingly being triggered to use advanced technology as a tool or medium to survive and win the increasingly fierce competition. Internet technology has been proven to be one of the effective and efficient information media in disseminating information that can be accessed by anyone, anytime and anywhere. Internet technology has a huge effect on commerce or business. XYZ Store is a trading business engaged in the sale of plastic. The sales system at the XYZ store still uses a manual system and does not use more competent and computerized technology. The plastic sales transaction system that is done manually requires computerized data collection as a tool. Due to these problems, it is necessary to do research to find solutions that can solve problems at the XYZ store. The results of the research are the construction of a web-based plastic sales information system that makes it easier for users to place orders and payments through a computerized system that was built. Through this web information system, XYZ store can reach more customers from various provinces and cities in Indonesia.

Abstract:
It is impossible to deny the importance of technology in our modern life. Technology has had a significant impact on almost every aspect of modern life, including but not limited to socializing, commuting, shopping, studying, and everything else. Over the years, the impact of technology has grown to such an extent that even aspects such as investment and the stock market are beginning to feel some impact. The stock market and technological progress are important components of the modern world. Technology has led to fundamental changes in the way financial markets operate, starting with the very first stage of stock formation and continuing to trade those stocks. Technology has undoubtedly radically changed the way investments are made. Financial markets today are largely computerized ‒ from software-based bidding to price determination and direct clearing and settlement, computer technologies have replaced manual operations and simplified functions throughout the value chain in trading. Stock markets around the world are leveraging technological advances for Secure Transaction Management and monitoring. Until a few years ago, brokers shouted at each other for exchanging orders on the stock exchange. However, today's stock exchange trading takes place without physical contact from brokers and provides unlimited opportunities for studying market trends and buying stocks. Thanks to the introduction of technology, the stock market has become more user-friendly, providing faster settlements on transactions, increased transparency, increased security, automated surveillance, and much more. The close relationship between information technologies and financial markets is beyond doubt, as is the relevance of research on the use of various information technologies and innovative solutions to achieve the highest results in financial markets. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze modern information technologies used in securities trading. In particular, attention is focused on: tools for predicting trends in financial markets; technological solutions for improving financial literacy of the population, open access to the securities market regardless of the age category of the user, his professional activity, etc.; advantages and disadvantages of online trading, the specifics of online brokers and their role in trading on financial markets; technical analysis, time series analysis and quantum computing for analyzing trends in financial markets; using information technologies in the derivatives market.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to assess the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s new regulation, Limit Up–Limit Down (LULD), against the background of manipulative high-frequency trading (HFT). Design/methodology/approach This paper examines the background of HFT and related manipulative tactics by reviewing 43 articles of empirical research. It also examines areas in which LULD is effective and those in which LULD fails. The assessment of LULD is completed with a comparison between computerized regulation and legal enforcement in the contemporary reality of electronic trading platforms. Findings The paper points out the effectiveness of LULD in regulating wild price volatility as well as its insufficiency when facing orderly but fast price momentum ignited by manipulative HFT such as “spoofing”. Practical implications The findings may provide assistance to lawmakers and regulators to improve LULD regulation. Originality/value This paper is the first attempt to assess LULD regulation against a comprehensive background of manipulative HFT. The paper is of value to other researchers concerned about the instability to the equity market that manipulative HFT can create. The paper is also of interest to policymakers in designing effective regulation in the high-frequency era.

Abstract:
Markets are organized so that buyers and sellers have a choice of participating in production-to-stock or production-to-order auctions. A production-to-stock (PTS) institution requires the seller to hold inventory before trading. Data from computerized double auctions are analyzed. Inventory cost diminishes trading activity. When the choice of institution is endogenous, sales from stock are about 15 percent of the total. When there is only a PTS market, econometric estimates show sellers as a group seek higher prices and seller surplus is relatively high. A production-to-order choice increases buyer surplus and market efficiency: doing more with less by employing 'lean thinking.' Lean manufacturing involves never ending efforts to eliminate or reduce 'waste' in design, manufacturing, distribution, and customer service processes. Developed by the Toyota executive Taiichi Ohno during post-Second World War reconstruction period in Japan, and popularized by James P. Womack and Daniel T. Jones in their 1996 book 'Lean Thinking.' Also is called lean production. The core idea is to maximize customer value while minimizing waste. Simply, lean means creating more value for customers with fewer resources. A lean organization understands customer value and focuses its key processes to continuously increase it. The ultimate goal is to provide perfect value to the customer through a perfect value creation process that has zero waste. To accomplish this, lean thinking changes the focus of management from optimizing separate technologies, assets, and vertical departments to optimizing the flow of products and services through entire value streams that flow horizontally across technologies, assets, and departments to customers. Lean thinking involves: specify what creates value from the customers perspective, identify all steps across the whole value stream, making those actions that create value flow, making what is pulled by the customer just-in-time, strive for perfection by continually removing successive layers of waste.

There are still many non-profit organizations that use manual information system of sales accounting compared to computerized ones. This study aims to design a non-profit organization's information system of sales accounting in a case study of LPIT Al-Furqan Yogyakarta. Unlike previous studies that use the subject of a trading company, this research uses non-profit organizations engaged in education. Data collection techniques are carried out with methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The proposed design uses the SDLC method. Sales Transaction Analysis uses PIECES analysis. The results of system analysis show that the sales accounting information system in LPIT Al-Furqan consists of a credit sales system and cash receipt system. The sales procedure includes the invoice making procedure, cash receipt procedures, and sales recording procedures. The design results provide recommendations that also need the development of accounting information systems on LPIT Al-Furqan such as Point of Sale (POS) and Payroll purchase systems so that the system becomes more integrated. It also needs to be developed to produce open-source software on the market so that it can be used by a wider non-profit organization.

Abstract:
In the Indian gems and jewellery industry, the cottage industry-based diamonds-processing and jewellery-making units compete with modern factories which use state-of-the-art machinery and computerized operations. The Indian gems and jewellery units have set up a worldwide network of offices in every hotspot on the diamond industry map. The phenomenal growth in gems and jewellery exports is a record among the large Indian export sectors. In fact, the gems and jewellery industry presents itself as a perfect case study for discussing how to build competitiveness of Indian industries. This sector has grown to become one of the leading export oriented industries in the country and contributes around 15–20 per cent of total merchandise exports (and 20–30% of manufactured exports). This sector recorded an export turnover of US$ 14 billion during calendar year 2004. Now even the Government of India perceives the gems & Jewellery sector as not only a potential and a large foreign exchange earner but also a thrust area for employment generation. The most important contributors in the industry have been Cut and Polished Diamonds; Coloured gemstones; and Gold Jewellery accounting for almost 95–97 percent of Gems and Jewellery exports of India. According to GJEPC, India accounts for 80–85 per cent of the world's CPD market in volume terms, 55–60 per cent in value terms and about 90 per cent in unit terms. This figure clearly indicates that India is likely to become a leading exporter of jewellery and gems both in manufacturing and trading. The industry has shown a very impressive growth and is moving in the right direction. India has been able to achieve a dominant position in diamonds and is emerging as the fastest growing jewellery sector in the world. The adequate support extended by the government in terms of pragmatic policies has helped significantly in helping India to be a global hub for gems and Jewellery both in manufacturing and trading. However, lot more has to happen for potential of this sector to be fully achieved.

Abstract:
Economic growth causes goods and services produced to increase and competition in the process of meeting the needs of consumers. PD.TEGUH KAOS POLOS is a trading company engaged in the field of clothing. The existing problem is the stockpile of goods that cause large inventory and not necessarily when the time of purchase of raw materials and the process of recording transactions, whether the purchase transactions and sales transactions are still using the manual with a note and ledger. The purpose of this study to determine the economic order and frequency of optimal ordering time by using Period Order Quantity method with the help of management information system design to help find out the information system needs regarding the amount of stock available. POQ calculation results obtained that the optimal order amount of 1803 units / pcs with the frequency of ordering 11 times and the distance between reservations for 29 days. There was a decrease in stock buildup around 7626 units / pcs. POQ decreases message costs and saves Rp.36.171.103 which can save company costs. Functionally a company needs a computerized information system and non-functional companies need a computer device CPU with the help of XAMPP software to run the database. With inventory information system using POQ saves working time to be more effective and efficient.

Abstract:
This article traces the development and expansion of early computer systems for managing and disseminating ‘real-time’ market data at the most influential stock market in the United States, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). It follows electronic media at the NYSE over a roughly ten-year period, from the time of the deployment of a computer called the Market Data System (MDS) through debates surrounding the National Market System and the passage of the 1975 Securities Acts Amendments. Building on research at the archives of the NYSE and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), this history emphasizes the regulatory and managerial contexts in which market data became computerized. The SEC viewed market automation as both necessary for the viability of the securities industry and a mechanism for expanding regulatory oversight over the venues of stock trading. Moving from the MDS to later technical projects in the late 1960s and early 1970s, this article charts the changing meaning of electronic governance in a market increasingly conceptualized as a technical object. Adding to recent work in the social studies of finance and financial technologies, this history sites early NYSE computerization programs within managerial efforts to consolidate control over the clerical labor of financial markets, and in contests between regulatory and market institutions. It concludes by exploring the differing forms of electronic governance activated in these efforts to bring computers into the market.

Abstract:
At present, many budget companies have realized high-level computerized accounting and have high-speed and advanced database management systems. In order to adapt to the growth of budget entity informatization, the financial department must improve its own financial budget level. Introduce information technology, and develop corresponding financial budget software to better perform its own financial calculation function. This paper explores and analyzes the full collaborative matching algorithm of enabling big data financial budget and builds a financial big data financial budget platform through offline and online data collection. Combined with the matching algorithm and linear regression prediction algorithm in data analysis, the financial data is analyzed in depth. Finally, the PSO-SA algorithm runs 10 rounds on the datasets with matching scales d = 10 and 30, respectively. It is found that the fluctuation is large when d = 10 and relatively stable when d = 30 . When d = 10 , the maximum value is 7.2354, and the minimum value is 6.9969. When d = 10 , the maximum value is 26.6403, and the minimum value is 23.9599. It can be concluded that when d = 0 , PSO-SA can obtain a relatively good matching scheme, but it is easy to fall into a local optimal solution. The superposition effect of “data + computing power + algorithm + scenario” can help enterprises make better decisions. Embed complex analysis into daily management and trading scenarios to build a financial empowerment platform. Make the increasingly complex work more automated and intelligent, and improve financial efficiency.

Abstract:
The world's container cargo trading is increasing daily, and the role of the container terminal is becoming more important as the center of cargo transportation. In Japan, new container terminals being constructed face very severe competition with larger, cheaper terminals so they must handle cargo more efficiently and cheaply. To cope, handling systems such as container cranes, yard cranes, and conveyers are being automated to enable unattended operation unloading and loading schedule planning, etc., are being computerized. In these system, crane automation and control computerization are already generalized, but automatic control of container conveyers is not completed yet. The container conveyer -15m long, 4m wide, and 1.5m high - picks up containers from container ships with a container crane and hauls them to the shift yard for release to the yard crane. Both crane are operated automatically, so the conveyer must stop at the desired position within a permissible error of ±7.5cm, and run on a predetermined course and speed. Collision avoidance is required because many vehicles oparate on the same course. The automated guided vehicle (AGV) system, which is diesel-driven, 4WS and 4WD, was thought to be effective, but container weights very widely, as do road conditions which depend on weather, so conventional control is not sufficient to maintain the required accuracy. We applied learning control to maintain the desired course and for stopping at the desired position. Speed was controlled, conventionally. The system's applicability was confirmed with computer simulation and vehicle performance testing. This system will be used at the Kawasaki container terminal in 1999 and we are currently working on improving performance.

Abstract:
Trade facilitation is any process involved in the reduction in trading costs associated with enforcement, regulation, and administration of trade policies. This process intended to lower the related transaction costs for firms in global commerce thereby enabling continued growth in cross border trade in goods and service. Trade facilitation is a diverse and challenging subject with potential benefits for both private business people and governments at national, regional and international levels. Governments initiated a trade facilitation reform programme following complaints about widespread corruption and poor administrative practices. The reform programme included the implementation of single-point clearance and mechanism, the introduction of risk assessment procedures and the publication of customs nights and responsibilities in export clearance. To conduct this kind of study is very important because it helped to describe the extent at which cargo clearance procedures, tariff charges and other institution factors influence the trade facilitation in Rwanda. Rwanda is a land-locked country, facing tremendous difficulties in accessing major markets in the regional as well as in the rest of the world. These difficulties emanated from high transport costs owing to the fact that she has no direct access to the sea. Rwanda has been continually showing deficit in export and imports compared to other neighboring partners the transit time greatly improved but nonetheless a sensitive consignment may be escorted on request from security organs - especially explosives, used in industries and construction works. It was noted that, through EAC customs union, Revenue Authority Digital Data Exchange (RADDEx) in an effort to facilitate trade in East Africa, Revenue Authorities throughout the EAC introduced modern computerized system and methods of ICT with great success and benefits to all stakeholders which make the work more efficient, productive and accurate. In this case, the impact here is the use of advance information by clearing and forwarding agencies that start processing customs entries prior to arrival of transit trucks at border posts. When trucks arrive at border posts, they are cleared immediately - since document formalities were completed. This study has revealed the current status on how the customs union procedures influence the trade facilitation in Rwanda. The study has revealed the areas of weaknesses for improvement. Corruption is one of the serious challenges identified in this study. Therefore, EAC members’ states should formulate policies which will combat the corruption within the EAC customs All these representatives should have an input on each of the coordination elements. The EAC members’ state should harmonize the charges and penalties not only customs laws but also trade regulations and laws. There should be a committee or a unit that will integrate this work. They should build on the work of the respective legal units of all Partner State.

Abstract:
This article gives an overview of the major developments on the European Union aviation scene between 1 July 2008 and 30 November 2008. In particular: – The consolidation drive continued unabated. In addition to the alliance arrangements between Continental Airlines, United Airlines, and a number of other Star Alliance carriers announced in June 2008, American Airlines, British Airways, and Iberia made public in August 2008 that they had also applied for an antitrust immunity of their proposed alliance. The European Commission opened ex officio investigations into both alliance arrangements. During the period under review, the European Commission also cleared the Delta Airlines/Northwest Airlines merger, started an investigation into Lufthansa’s proposed acquisition of a 45% stake in SN Holding, the parent company of Brussels Airlines, and decided to open an in–depth investigation into the KLM/Martinair merger. Other transactions that were mentioned in the press include Lufthansa’s acquisition of a majority ownership of bmi British Midland, and its intention to acquire control of Austrian Airlines, which is being privatized by the Austrian Government. British Airways is in merger negotiations with Iberia and it is rumored that Air France/KLM may still end up acquiring a (majority) stake in Alitalia. – There have been major developments in the State aid field during the period under review. The European Commission and the European Court of First Instance adopted important decisions with regard to Alitalia, and there have been further developments in the Olympic State aid matter. The European Commission also adopted State aid measures in a number of other aviation–related cases – There were a number of noteworthy regulatory developments during the period under review, most importantly the publication in the Official Journal of the new regulation on the internal market for air transport, which brings together in one single legal instrument the three 1992 regulations that hitherto formed the pillars of the internal aviation market and that controlled (1) the licensing of air carriers, (2) the access of European Union carriers to intra–European Union routes, and (3) the fares and rates for air services. There were also further developments regarding the proposal for a new CRS (computerized reservation system) Code of Conduct. In addition, a Directive extending the European Union Emission Trading Scheme to aviation was finally adopted, and the European Court of Justice adopted a ruling on the interpretation of the concept of ‘flight’ for the purposes of the application of Regulation 261/2004 on compensation and assistance in the event of denied boarding, cancellation, and long delay – Finally, with regard to the European Union external aviation policy, the European Commission published a report on its progress toward the creation of a Common Aviation Area (CAA) with the neighbouring countries by 2010. There were also further developments regarding the negotiation or conclusion of horizontal air services agreements with third countries. Each of these points will be examined in greater detail in the sections below.

Rizkiana Sadaya Sejahtera is a company engaged in trading, namely selling LPG gas cylinders. PT. Rizkina Sadaya Sejahtera is currently not computerized, starting from the sales process to bases that have uncertain delivery schedules which are made by agents. The process is that the base must pay within a certain deadline, if the deadline passes, the goods will still be sent but the base will get a penalty. The process of storing reports, monthly reports from the base are still in the form of paper received by the agent admin, this is very possible for errors to occur such as the base forgetting to pay and lost or undelivered reports. In this problem the occurrence of redundancies in the report data can occur. In the case of adding a new base, a problem occurs because the agent only accepts if the base quota is still available and other requirements or the files sent are still on printout and photocopy paper. Based on these problems, the authors create a website for selling lpg cylinders using the waterfall method, including sales transactions where the base will receive orders according to schedule by the admin and the admin will receive payment, then the process of storing reports, and accepting new bases with stricter conditions from the agent which will be confirmed by the admin. With the new system will provide information quickly, precisely and accurately. Gas cylinder managers will find it easier to process transactions, as well as more secure data storage. Keywords: sales of LPG gas, waterfall, gas base

This article compares a broker-implemented blind bid solution to this problem in a continuous market setting versus a combined value computerized call market that maximizes available liquidity to create balanced trades between such lists. The technology is known: combined value markets are in use today servicing markets in logistics contracts, emissions permits, spectrum licenses, and aerospace procurement. Abstract:
This paper explores how calculative cultures shape perceptions of models and practices of model use in the financial industry. A calculative culture comprises a specific set of practices and norms concerning data and model use in an organizational setting. Drawing on interviews with model users (data scientists, software developers, traders, and portfolio managers) working in algorithmic securities trading, I argue that the introduction of complex machine-learning models changes the dynamics in calculative cultures, which leads to a displacement of human judgment in quantitative finance. In this paper, I distinguish between three calculative cultures: (1) an idealistic culture of undivided trust in models, (2) a pragmatic culture of skepticism toward model accuracy, and (3) a pragmatic idealist culture of early stage skepticism and implementation and production-phase idealism. Based on the empirical material, the analysis engages with examples of each of the three calculative cultures. The study contributes to the social studies of finance and science and technology studies more broadly by showing how perceptions of models shape and are shaped through model work in data-intensive, computerized finance.

Abstract:
The protecting mystery of delicate information turns out to be essential in today computerized correspondence. Steganography is the train of trading top mystery data by installing it into a mixed media bearer and Cryptography is the specialty of securing data by changing it into an imperceptible frame. A definitive point, here is to shroud the very presence of the installed data inside apparently harmless bearers and transmit such that the presence of data is imperceptible. In this paper, proposed technique removes by joining the highlights of cryptography and steganography. Cryptography utilizing Modified ASCII Conversion and Mathematical Function includes changing over the mystery message into unprintable type of same size as unique message in any cases. Steganography is then connected utilizing multilevel 2-D DWT with LSB to install this encoded information into a cover media utilizing High Frequency Coefficients at all levels of 2-D Haar DWT and shrouds its reality. At long last, Performance can be estimated by utilizing measurable parameters PSNR and MSE. This proposed strategy accomplish each of the three parts of information covering up, for example Capacity, Robustness and Security.

ABSTRACT - In this modern era, technology is developing rapidly in various aspects of life, where technology that is already known for its effectiveness has also begun to be widely used both from the education sector, government, and in the trade sector. Endo Tani shop is a type of trading business that sells various types of agricultural fertilizers, which is located at Jl. Parakan - Trajaya Blok Rabu RT/RW 004/005 Parakan Leuwimunding Village. As for the problems that exist at the Endo Tani Store, the data processing of incoming goods and outgoing goods is still using a manual system, namely by writing in books or on paper that has been provided, the data search process becomes constrained and inefficient because they have to search first in the document. This is of course less effective and efficient, considering that paper bags can be damaged or lost, which allows inventory data to be lost. Therefore, there is a need for a solution to these problems, namely designing a computerized inventory system. In the process of collecting data with the aim of solving problems, the authors use primary data sources, namely (Observation and Interview). The software methodology used for development is the prototype method, this inventory system is built using the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language and the data is stored in a MySQL database. The final result obtained in this study is an inventory application that is expected to help and facilitate shop owners in processing goods data, searching for goods, and being able to produce the information and reports needed quickly, precisely, and accurately.

Abstract:
Abstract. The rapid development of technology makes companies to maximize their work. One of the efforts to maximize this performance is to apply information system technology. UD. X is a trading business which is engaged in agriculture. In running its business, this company recorded incoming and outgoing goods inventory using physical documents written manually. The warehouse division had to submit a stock book first. As a result, the company experienced delays in carrying out sales transactions. An alternative to solve these problems was to design a computerized information system that focused on the company's inventory management, including incoming, outgoing transactions, and data collection in the storage of goods. The design of the information system in this study was carried out using the Framework for Application of Systems Thinking (FAST) method which consisted of 9 stages. Furthermore, the approach taken in improving the information system was to use a model driven development strategy. Its function was to analyze problems by visualizing using business requirements. The design of the information system was built by using several tool, such as Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel. The design of an inventory management information system to overcome the company's was the management of inventory data, starting from incoming goods from suppliers to outgoing goods in real time and organized.
