Abstract:
Service Company is a business activity that provides products in the form of services to customers. Micro business services are in great demand among SMK graduates as it is very easy to live up to their abilities. This includes Micro Service Counter service, tailor, reflection, and others. However, the problem that arises is their lack of practical financial business knowledge. Many businesses they experience an emergency because they do not have proper business financial statements. With the current technological advances, most problems can be solved by technology. One such solution is an accounting information system application with mamdani blur technique. The process of calculating the system is done in 4 stages, namely: the formation of the blur set, the implications of the rules, the rules of composition and Defuzzyfication. Based on the results of trials, there’s an error in determining the price of services. Therefore, the high price of service can reduce the number of service requests and the low price service may incur losses to the company. With this system, one can determine the best service price and the best service for consumers.

Abstract:
Everyday life is unimaginable without telecommunication services; they are the significant players in the national economy. All business activities, including the ones of telecommunication services, are directed towards the satisfaction of customers’ needs and wants, and hence towards the profit earning. This process, in its turn, entails the formation of different company/customer relations, where both parties want to gain something out of these relations. The company strives, first of all, to increase the turnover and profit, while the customer wants to receive the desired services, information and the proper attitude. These customer gains can be basis of the loyalty formation, that is very important for the company, because the process of attracting new consumers always involves spending money, time and energy. The goal of this work is to explore the loyalty formation process and its peculiarities in the telecommunication services. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the experts rated the offer of corporate loyalty programs at the lowest, then followed the service offer and the price, but slightly higher the service quality. The experts assigned the highest rating to the prestige of the service. Based on the low assessment of the experts in the telecommunication industry of the loyalty program offer, the authors propose the conceptual consumer loyalty model for the practical use.

Oliveira, Xavier Sabrina. "La thèse CIFRE : Etude pluridisciplinaire d'un instrument juridique au service de la politique de recherche et d'innovation dans une approche Franco-Brésilienne." Thesis, Université Grenoble Alpes, 2020. http://www.theses.fr/2020GRALD001.

Abstract:
The objective of this thesis was to conduct a multidisciplinary study of a legal instrument, CIFRE device at the service of research and innovation policy in a Franco-Brazilian approach. Our ambition was to understand the contractual set of the CIFRE device, which fits into a complex ecosystem, and which is made up of several actors (government / business / university / doctoral student). These actors belong to universes far from each other and have distinct characteristics such as, for example, divergent vocabularies and different perspectives vis-à-vis the device. This choice led us to carry out an in-depth and systematic study, which includes agreements and labor low (a universe in constant evolution), in addition a meticulous analysis of the positioning of this device vis-à-vis RD&I policies in the era of the knowledge society has been achieved. In addition, we have added to our research work the CIFRE / Brazil project, implemented in 2013, which strengthens the long and fruitful scientific and technological interaction between our two countries. This integration made our study even more complex because we found ourselves faced with a system that extended to the international field. Finally, to complete this already well-supplied scenario, we analyzed Brazilian initiatives in the stricto sensu industrial. The method used for this doctoral work is based on theoretical and practical studies which, through “upstream” and “downstream” feedback, feed into the contractual engineering of the CIFRE device (nutrition in loop). This configuration adopted to carry out this doctoral study made it possible to conclude that the contractual set of the CIFRE device fulfills its role well since its creation in 1981, however faced with the current conjuncture of multi-actor production based on the knowledge society, several points deserve special attention (points of vigilance). The studies carried out on the CIFRE / Brazil project allow us to affirm that it accommodates the same legal questions as the CIFRE device, with the ensuing implications in the contractual clauses, however it also has administrative complications. It should be noted that a good understanding of the CIFRE and CIFRE / Brazil systems offers Brazilian initiatives in the stricto sensu industrial (Master and Professional Doctorate - CAPES and Academic Doctorate for Innovation - DAI / CNPq) good opportunities for improvement. This allows this doctoral work to present an exhaustive study of the device (theoretical and practical analysis) by providing a vision of the contractual whole and by signaling the points of dysfunction and their possibilities for improvement. The conclusions which are presented are, therefore, very important contributions for Brazilian initiatives in the stricto sensu industrial, because they make it possible to inform the Brazilian public authorities on the possibilities of improving existing programs in order to achieve efficiency, traceability and the employability of the CIFRE device

Abstract:
This volume widens the perspective of the roles that records play in society. As opposed to most writings in the discipline of archives and records management which view records from cultural, historical, and economical efficiency dimensions, this volume highlights that one of the most salient features of records is the role they play as sources of accountability—a component that often brings them into daily headlines and into courtrooms. Struggles over control, access, preservation, destruction, authenticity, accuracy, and other issues demonstrate time and again that records are not mute observers and recordings of activity. Rather, they are frequently struggled over as objects of memory formation and erasure. The 14 powerful case studies focus around four closely related themes—explanation, secrecy, memory, and trust. They demonstrate how records compel, shape, distort, and recover social interactions across space and time. The diverse range of case studies includes the ownership of the Martin Luther King, Jr. papers, the destruction of records on Nazi war criminals in Canada, the politics of documents in the Iran-Contra affair, the failure of records management in the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, the publication of tobacco company documents on the World Wide Web, access to records associated with the U.S. government's infamous Tuskegee syphilis study, the role of the U.S. National Archives in identifying assets looted by the Nazis in the wake of the Holocaust, the destruction of public records by the South African government during apartheid's final years, the construction of foreign relations of the U.S. documentary histories, the forgery corrupting recordkeeping systems, and the collapse of foreign indigenous commercial banks.

Abstract:
AbstractThe objective of this exploratory study was to implement peer assessment for pedagogical design in integrated STEAM education and to compare expert and peer feedback, in this regard. We engaged pre-service teachers registered in an undergraduate programme for primary education in a formative/reciprocal peer assessment arrangement, where they had the chance to act as both peer assessors and peer assessees. Although global measures of validity (correlations between total scores of expert and peer assessors) and reliability (correlations between total scores of different peer assessors for the same pedagogical scenario) were satisfactory, there were assessment criteria for which peer assessment failed to be valid and/or reliable and which should deserve more attention in future training sessions. We found peer over-scoring across all assessment criteria. There were also indications of participant preference of expert feedback over peer feedback, where the later included fewer justifications of quantitative scores and suggestions for change.

Abstract:
AbstractThe formation of cities, and the relocation of workers to densely populated areas reflect a spatial equilibrium, in which the higher real consumption levels of urban areas are offset by lower non-monetary amenities [1]. However, as the society progress toward a post-COVID stage, the prevailing decentralized delivery systems and location-based services, the growing trend of working from home, with citizens’ shifting preference of de-appreciating densities and gathering, have not only changed the possible spatial distribution of opportunities, resources, consumption and amenities, but also transformed people’s preference regarding desirable urban spatial qualities, value of amenities, and working opportunities [2, 3].This research presents a systematic method to evaluate the perceived trade-off between urban spatial qualities and urban utilities such as amenities, transportation, and monetary opportunities by urban residence in the post-COVID society. The outcome of the research will become a valid tool to drive and evaluate urban design strategies based on the potential self-organization of work-life patterns and social profiles in the designated neighbourhood. To evaluate the subjective perception of the urban residence, the study started with a comparative survey by asking residence to compare two randomly selected urban contexts in a data base of 398 contexts sampled across Hong Kong and state their living preference under the presumption of following scenarios: 1. working from home; 2. working in city centre offices. Core information influencing the spatial equilibrium are provided in the comparable urban context such as street views, housing price, housing space, travel time to city centre, adjacency to public transport and amenities, etc. Each context is given a preference score calculated with Microsoft TrueSkill Bayesian ranking algorithm [4] based on the comparison survey of two scenarios. The 398 contexts are further analysed via GIS and image processing, to be deconstructed into numerical values describing main features for each of the context that influence urban design strategies such as composition of spatial features, amenity allocation, adjacency to city centre and public transportations. Machine learning models are trained with the numerical values of urban features as input and two preference scores for the two working scenarios as the output. The correlation heat maps are used to identify main urban features and its p-value that influence residence’s preference under two working scenarios in post–COVID era. The same model could also be applied to inform the direction of urban design strategies to construct a sustainable community for each type of working population and validate the design strategies via predicting its competitiveness in attracting residence and developing target industries.

The creation of university spin-offs (USOs) is a much-discussed strategy regarding future-proofing a technology or design idea. Ximes started from a series of projects supporting time scheduling of operations in a large company and, in close cooperation with the trade unions over a period of years, developed a portfolio of services based on participatory practices (and the associated software). The more recent formation of OpenDash is based on an IT artifact that from the start had been conceived with a view to transferability and evolvability and has been integrated in multiple projects and contexts.

Abstract:
The purpose of the article is to increase the efficiency of financial profitability of insurance activity. In terms of market relations, one of the performance indicators of all organizations is profitability. It becomes the economic development of the organization and the strengthening of the basis of its financial relations with all participants in the processes of entrepreneurial activity. At the same time, the result of the influence of a combination of negative factors is a decrease in the level of financial profitability of enterprises, receiving a loss or even ceasing operations. Achieving a high level of this indicator of improvement of the economic study of the formation of financial results of the organization's vital activities. Every enterprise strives to improve profitability. The results. The grouping of influencing factors into internal and external ones was carried out and the influence of these factors on the activity of the insurance company was revealed. The activity of the insurance company "ARKS" was considered. The main goal of managing the financial perspective of an insurance organization is to ensure the maximization of the welfare of the owners of the enterprise in the current and current period. This goal is designed to simultaneously harmonize the interests of the owners with the interests of the state and the company's personnel. Based on the conducted analysis, as well as the general view of various researchers of this issue, in order to increase the efficiency of the financial profitability of PJSC "ARKS Insurance Company" it is also necessary to reduce the level of costs and unprofitability of insurance operations in connection with the expansion of the level of coverage of the insurance field. Value/originality. In order to achieve the financial stability of insurance companies, the criteria for its provision have been studied in detail. Profitability is one of the most important indicators that reflect the economic state of the enterprise. It supports the purpose of entrepreneurial activity. The main result of the enterprise's activity is increased with the help of indicators, which are divided into absolute and relative: the absolute indicator is the profit of the enterprise; the relative indicator is the profitability of the enterprise. Profit is the economic difference between total income and expenses for the production and sale of products and services, taking into account losses from various business operations in the reporting periods. Profitability indicators, capable of using the final results of the organization's activities, help to trace the totality of consumed resources with invested capital.

Abstract:
This chapter, like the two that precede it, quashes the myth that the recreational travel and tourism industry began with Thomas Cook and the railway system, pointing instead to the roots developed by the steamboat. It explores the growth of British overseas travel through the origins of commercial steamboat services on the Clyde to the first Dover-Calais route. It pays particular attention to the formation of the General Steam Navigation Company in 1824. It also offers a thorough analysis of overseas excursion advertisements in The Times between 1825 and 1850. It concludes that by the end of the 1840s specialist agencies for overseas travellers had come into existence, alongside other frameworks for tourism that developed out of steamboat technology - pre-dating the mid-century rail-led tourism boom by several years.

Abstract:
The modern post-industrial stage of development of the market economy is characterized by the gradual transition of market power from producers of products or services to consumers. Under such conditions, the struggle for the customer forces logistics companies to increase the level of logistics service and develop strategies based on a compromise between the costs associated with the provision of logistics services and the level of logistics service provided to customers. In this regard, there is a need to develop adequate methods and approaches to assessing the required level of logistics service and its impact on the achievement of the company’s strategic goals. The study discloses organizational and methodological approaches to the development of a logistics service system based on a set of target indicators (key indicators for evaluating logistics service) aimed at achieving the selected strategic task of the company’s logistics. Methods of economic, statistical, and mathematical modeling, and system analysis were used as research tools. The paper proposes a methodology for the formation of a logistics service system, built by the MAI method within the framework of the general policy of the company for logistic customer service. Its approbation of the example of the company “Sfera-Avto” showed that the chosen operational policy in the field of customer service, taking into account the most significant alternatives, corresponds to the chosen strategic objective of the company’s logistics, namely “minimization of the cycle of the fulfillment of customer orders”. The choice made is reflected in the company’s logistics from the strategic level (building a strategic map of the logistics department and forming a balanced system of logistics indicators) to the operational level (performing logistics operations within the framework of implemented business processes).

Abstract:
Abstract Coal Bed Methane (CBM) development in India has emerged as one of the cleanest solutions to the fuel energy requirements of this energy-starved country. Favorable market scenarios and lucrative gas prices are enabling operators in this business to target aggressive well-completion schedules. This study discusses the techno-economic benefits realized by the operator company of using combined coiled tubing (CT) deployed hydrajetting and fracturing services instead of conventional wireline perforations in CBM wells. The service company introduced a unique fracturing service that integrates six processes – depth correlation with CT, hydra-jet perforation, hydra-jet fracture initiation, hydraulic fracture stimulation, zonal isolation using a sand plug, and wellbore cleanout using CT. It completes these processes in one single trip-in-hole, making the service cost and time efficient and eliminating the use of wireline for perforating and setting bridge plugs in the well which requires multi-stage fracturing. The technology in use, lessons learned, and knowledge gained from operations in India are shared in this paper. The process employs a customized CT bottom-hole assembly (BHA) at the core of its service. Customized engineering solutions for hydrajetting can be developed based on casing specifications, cementing conditions, and stimulation design. The principle of hydrajetting perforations and the BHA details are discussed along with its benefits over the alternative techniques. The experience gained during operations allowed the service company to optimize jetting flow rates, differential pressures, and back pressures to improve its operational efficiency and also allow maximum proppant to be placed into the formation being stimulated. Implementing the lessons learned increased the hydrajetting tool life from 25-30 sets of perforation to about 40 per tool. The paper also discusses job design improvements implemented to prevent sanding up the wellbore leading to stuck CT. Finally, the paper discusses the economic benefits achieved by the operator company leading to increased productive time and a faster rate of well completion. CBM fields require excessive dewatering before they break out gas and become commercially viable projects. The technology discussed in this paper enables the operators to put the maximum number of wells on production, in a shorter period maximizing the Net Present Value (NPV) of the asset.

Abstract:
Abstract The oil and gas industry needs continuously improving in the exploration and extraction methods with a special care and strong compromise to maintain the equilibrium with environment. Based on that mission, and in compliance with the Parex Resources Greenhouse Gases and Climate strategy, Parex Resources executed the first multilateral drilling project in Colombia. It was an ambitious and challenging exploration campaign. The goal was to improve the exploration area by drilling multiples branches through different geological units and total vertical depths (TVD) into an overpressured naturally fractured field. The field presented a complex geological and structural environment. Expectations were high for both drilling optimization and formation evaluation of a compartmentalized reservoir, looking to cover the highest extension while drilling fewer wells from the surface. Considering the level of the challenge ahead, the solution was articulated in three critical fronts:Develop a vigorous planning with service company and operator engineering team for casing design, mud weight window and system, bottomhole assembly (BHA) design, and fit for purpose technology for directional drilling operations.Include a full set of logging data with reliable logging-while-drilling (LWD) tools and advanced mud logging services to fulfill geology requirements, as no wireline logging was planned due to constrains in a horizontal borehole.Implement well placement services with the most experienced team to geo-steer based on real-time data completely integrated for precise interpretation. The operational efficiency achieved was beyond expectations in all areas of well construction, not to mention the project cost reduction through the multilateral approach, preventing to drill three wells from surface. In this case, three different geological compartments were explored from one surface location. This innovative exploration approach also brought important gains on the environmental impact as surface operations were dramatically minimized compared to conventional exploration. This strategy helped the operator and service company to reduce the carbon footprint, simply by reducing the number of wells and operational days needed to explore new fields.

Abstract: Effective establishment of cross-cultural communication is a prerequisite for business success, regardless of the field in which it is organized or already exists. The issue ap-pears especially relevant against the background of the rapid development of infor-mation technologies, digitalization, socialization, and globalization of business. Cross-cultural communication is a process of information exchange among repre-sentatives of different cultures, which aims to establish mutual understanding through the achievement of conformity of different culturally determined value sys-tems. As the sector of information technology grows ever more complex, Information Technology (IT) professionals are called upon daily to explain technology applications to coworkers from other departments, managers, and customers. Building effective cross-cultural communication within an IT company and establishing the right communication links with stakeholders affect the effectiveness of management deci-sions both at the operational and strategic levels. Barriers to the formation of cross-cultural communication skills in the IT industry include IT professionals being used to working in isolation or functioning within tight-knit teams, differing work expectations, varying values and customs, and different levels of technological knowledge. Formation of cross-cultural communication skills should create a basis for effective establishment of communication in the development team, providing sup-port for the common organization of the group work on the processing of general in-formation and information linked to the project, creating conditions for collaborative software development, and promoting the formation and development of corporate culture in IT companies. Abstract:
Abstract Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) is the leading oil and gas production company in the Sultanate of Oman. The company has a great technical focus enabler for delivering hydrocarbons efficiently and safely in the Sultanate through different tools and technologies. Well Functional Requirements (WFR) project is one of these key tools that has been implemented recently in PDO. The project aims to capture the basis of well designs, maintain high data quality, apply adequate level of assurance, and utilize the assured data envelope to control well risks, optimize well design and operations, and achieve process efficiency and commercial targets. To achieve the highlighted targets, an in-house tool was developed, the WFR tool. The WFR tool acts as a platform for collecting, maintaining, and assuring the well functional requirements. This includes well targets, geological prognosis, pressure and temperature regime, production data, risk register, and other critical inputs required for developing a well design. The tool enables an easy and accurate data front loading through data drop drown lists, data import functions, system alerts, automated tabs and a detailed standard operating procedure. In addition, the tool allows to update and track functional requirements indicating the actual changes over a defined period of time. The tool has been applied in multiple fields since 2022 across the company including exploration and development fields and showed very good results. In terms of well delivery process efficiency, the WFR tool has provided the ability for the Planning and Design Engineers to collect the functional requirements with less effort, maintain them in a high-quality manner, get them assured and successfully define their wells design envelopes for the upcoming scopes. In terms of cost optimization, knowing the design boundaries and being able to track them has helped the Planning and Design team to properly select the wells materials and services avoiding over or under designing approaches. Furthermore, the tool has provided additional features such as "Compare Data" feature which enabled monitoring data ranges, flagging thresholds, and testing design robustness. The next phase of the project is targeting full integration with the other well delivery process tools and optimization of the existing materials and services contracts to make them fit for purpose. The tool is a new way of managing well designs boundaries and evaluating their impacts on processes, operations, resources and contracts. The WFR tool captures the assured data (formation tops, pressure prediction, subsurface risks and other inputs) and provides them as an operating window for planning and execution phases and provides means of monitoring the window limits and identifying impacts on well design and cost.

Abstract:
Abstract In the increasingly complex and cost sensitive drilling environment of today, data gathered using downhole and surface real-time sensor systems must work in unison with physics-based models to facilitate early indication of drilling hazards, allowing timely action and mitigation. Identification of opportunities for reduction of invisible lost time (ILT) is similarly critical. Many similar systems gather and analyze either surface or downhole data on a standalone basis but lack the integrated approach towards using the data in a holistic decision-making manner. These systems can either paint an incomplete picture of prevailing drilling conditions or fail to ensure system messages result in parameter changes at rigsite. This often results in a hit or miss approach in identification and mitigation of drilling problems. The automated software system architecture is described, detailing the physics-based models which are deployed in real-time consuming surface and downhole sensor data and outputting continuous, operationally relevant simulation results. Measured data from either surface, for torque & drag, or downhole for ECD & ESD is then automatically compared both for deviation of actual-to-plan, and for infringement of boundary conditions such as formation pressure regime. The system is also equipped to model off-bottom induced pressures; swab & surge, and dynamically advise on safe, but optimum tripping velocities for the operation at hand. This has dual benefits; both the avoidance of costly NPT associated with swab & surge, as well as being able to visually highlight running speed ILT. All processing applications are coupled with highly intuitive user interfaces. Three successful deployments all onshore in the Middle East are detailed. First a horizontal section where real-time model vs. actual automatic comparison of torque & drag samples, validated with PWD data allowed early identification of poor hole cleaning. Secondly, a vertical section where again the model vs. actual algorithmic automatically identified inadequate hole cleaning in a case where conventional human monitoring did not. Finally, a case is exhibited where real-time modelling of swab and surge, as well as intuitive visualization of the trip speeds within those boundary conditions led to a significant increase in average tripping speeds when compared to offset wells, reducing AFE for the operator. Common for all three deployments was an integrated well services approach, with a single service company providing the majority of services for well construction, as well as an overarching remote operations team who were primary users of the software solutions deployed.

Abstract:
Abstract Stuck pipe is one of the biggest challenges in the drilling sector and is a multi-billion-dollar issue. Recovering from stuck pipe absorbs significant cost and time. Durations for stuck pipe events and recovery can be mostly variable from a few days to up to over a month to resolve. When attempts to release the stuck pipe by jarring or acid fail, the operating company and drilling contractors are left with little option but to sever the drill string and prepare for side-track operations or even abandon the hole. Traditional pipe severance methods in the event of a stuck pipe situation typically take significant time (often days, and sometimes weeks), require specialist tools, Service Hands, and are usually reliant on wireline services to deliver the severance method. In 2018, a Major Operating Company in UAE faced a challenging high-sticking Formation, which caused massive NPT, stuck of drill strings, and loss of drilled section holes. Brainstorming within the Drilling Engineering team took the campaign to the next level of pre-planning to reach deep access in the hole to be able to achieve zonal isolation by spotting cement plugs through drilling BHA, find a solution to save the hole and recover the pipes in an efficient, cheap and productive manner. An environmentally safe pre-planned solution to severe the drill string was proposed to help save the wells and allow an excellent methodology to save the wells/fields from stuck pipe risks. The engineering solution allows a fast recovery of drill pipes using a downhole tool as a part of drilling BHA, with the option to activate it if required, by dropping a smart dart and circulating with mud for a specific time to apply cut string with two option, either spotting cement with recovered BHA or lift BHA with fish neck to try to fish in the hole.
