Abstract:
Research on community impacts from service-learning has been scarce, yet this area is worth exploring in order to understand how and why service-learning can make a difference. The current research sought to validate a conceptual framework (Lau & Snell, 2020), which categorizes the impacts of service-learning on community partner organizations (CPOs) and on end-beneficiaries. Under the framework, impacts on end-beneficiaries can arise directly from service-learning interventions, but can also arise indirectly as a result of impacts on CPOs. For the research, semi-structured, one-to-one or focus group interviews were conducted with 13 CPO representatives, seeking their perceptions of positive and negative impacts of service-learning. Most described impacts were positive, including, for CPOs: achieving project goals to further the CPO’s mission; augmenting resources of the CPO; and gaining knowledge, insights, ideas and techniques. These positive impacts for CPOs appear to reflect three factors: alignment between service-learning project goals and the CPO’s mission; mutual recognition of students’ potential for transferring knowledge from universities to CPOs; and mutual understanding of students’ status as semi-outsiders, free to challenge existing practices or systems. Further studies can explore impacts from the end-beneficiary's perspective, and adopt longitudinal and action research approaches.

Abstract:
Community-based organizations (CBOs) in the health and human services sector handle very sensitive client information, such as psychiatric, HIV testing, criminal justice, and financial records. With annual revenue often in the range of $1 to $10 million, these organizations typically lack the financial, labor, and technical resources to identify and manage information security risks within their environment. Therefore, information security risk assessments were conducted at CBOs as part of a university service learning course intended to ultimately improve security within participating CBOs. Knowledge transfer between trainees and trainers is essential in order for security improvements to be realized. Therefore, this paper constructs a theoretical model of knowledge transfer that is used as a lens through which to examine initial study results of the CBO interventions as part of an exploratory study.

Abstract:
The sustainable development goals (SDGs) working towards the 2030 agenda are intergovernmental set of aspirations goals outlining 17 development goals and it has associated 169 targets. Among them is education, which ensures inclusive and equitable quality education, and promote lifelong learning opportunities. Civil society organizations (CSO), plays an important role in achieving SDG in education. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the problems encountered by CSO in providing basic education in Sudan for poor children, in particular, gender equality in education, child friendly schools to ensure quality in education. This paper used empirical data, which was part of a PhD dissertation on displaced children and CSO. Interviews and focus groups discussions conducted with children age 10-18 and with four CSO key managers. Interviews conducted with a sample of 129 poor children in Khartoum. The paper will present a case study from Sudan and the voices of the children in access to education and the role of CSO in providing gender equality in education. I argue that if CSO works with and for poor children in education, and have a sound strategy to gender equality in education; SDGs in education by 2030 might achieve. The paper will end with recommendations for access to education and gender equality in education. CSO should work with and for the poor children in education and should strive towards achieving gender equality in education.

Abstract:
A community dental service (MSC), integrating UFRGS Dentistry School is one of the fields where graduate students practice public health actions. The program is financed by Brazilian public health system (SUS), intending to offer dental treatment to schoolchildren from the area. Dentistry students promote educational and preventive actions at public schools and refer those who need curative interventions to MSC. The objective of this study is to identify the reasons for why schoolchildren/adolescents are absent in such dental treatment; fiftynine participants were interviewed, all of them regularly attending public schools covered by the program; among them, twenty-four were absent in dental treatment appointment; in addition to interviews, fourty-eight families were visited, including absents and presents, in order to better understand the reality faced by this population; qualitative and quantitative analyses were conducted showing that several reasons contribute to the phenomenon such as feelings like fear and anxiety, people's perceptions about health services and these people's beliefs and values of oral health; absenteeism was identified as part of a wider social process: the social deprivation which permeates all Brazilian society.

Abstract:
There are several countries suffering from short supply of healthcare workers, particularly in villages, it makes difficult to provide essential health care. Low-income of 49 countries to achieve the health MDGs by 2015, an additional 3.5 million health workers are needed. As a developing country, India has a large disease burden and a huge gap in providing medical facilities. There is a need for midlevel health care providers in different settings across the country to provide this service. Government of India has declared new pivotal role of Community Health Officer as part of National Health Mission in order to enable Indian community settings to have access to affordable health care. As outlined in the NMC Bill 2019, nurses will be given the first option as Community Health Officers, which will also facilitate their professional development. Health care access will be promoted through CHOs as a new transforming role. By serving as a MLHP, the CHO will reduce the burden on other health care professionals and also contribute to achieve the aim of “Health for All”. AYUSH and nursing practitioners only qualified candidates for this team in India. Their training and legal authorization limit their ability to provide health care in less cases than physicians, but they have greater access to it than other health care professionals.

Abstract:
AimsThis study aimed to assess the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the Hertfordshire Community Perinatal Team (CPT) group interventions and the innovations made.BackgroundThe CPT is a multidisciplinary mental health service that runs three groups: Circle of Security (CoS), Emotional Coping Skills (ECS) and a peer support group - Wellbeing and Lifestyle. The service has received an increase in referrals during the COVID-19 pandemic.MethodMethods: Team member and client semi structured interviews were conducted with answers transcribed in real time and analysed. Patient clinical records were accessed via PARIS and analysed in order to identify patient demographics within each group and whether these had changed during the pandemic. Clinical outcome measures and client feedback were evaluated to see whether the change in groups is impacting their clinical effectiveness.ResultResults: Innovations made by the CPT include: groups becoming virtual, launching of the new Circle of Security Group which helps women tackle the ‘Ghosts in the Nursery’ and strengthen maternal bonds, restructuring existing groups, breakout room forums and incorporating communication platform apps such as Whatsapp. The Wellbeing and Lifestyle Group increased in size and reach (7 women from 7 areas in 2019 vs 12 women from 12 areas in 2021) with an increased retention rate (71% in 2019 vs 100% in 2021) and a decreased attrition rate (29% in 2019 to 0% in 2021). The Emotional Coping Skills group experienced similar changes (10 areas represented in 2019 vs 15 different areas in 2021) with an increased retention rate (58% in 2019 vs 100% in 2021) and decreased attrition rate (42% in 2019 vs 0% in 2021).ConclusionThe Hertfordshire Community Perinatal Team has responded to the pandemic by innovating existing groups and creating new forums; many of which will continue on even after the pandemic ceases. The groups have acted as a lifeline for women breaking up the monotony and isolation of lockdown life and providing an invaluable space for women to be heard.

Abstract:
Through the lens of the Community Service Organization (CSO), this article explores the emergence of Los Angeles ethno-racial communities' political activism and what enabled their success in a difficult Cold War climate. The CSO's creation in 1947, when it became the first enduring civil rights organization for the largest urban Mexican-origin population in the United States, is striking since historical narratives generally assume the Cold War crushed meaningful civil rights change. The CSO complicates this declensionist narrative. Its success stemmed in part from its reliance upon interracial networks that sustained it in its early years. The CSO reveals links between different racial and ethnic communities, in three different eras—the World War II, Cold War, and civil rights eras—that made the emergence and persistence of such activism possible.

Abstract:
Introduction Internet use disorder is a disorder of the digital age and presents a growing problem worldwide . It appears that due to structural and personal barriers, many persons affected (PA) and Concerned Significant Others (CSO) do not reach the health care system so far and thus a chronification of the pathology can proceed. Methods A telemedicine counseling service for PA and CSO of PA unwilling to enter treatment with two webcam-based sessions of 60 minutes for each group was created with the aim of reaching out to PA and CSO to provide a low-threshold support and refer the participants to the local health care system. Motivational interviewing for PA and CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training) for CSO were used as methods. Participants answered questions about their Internet use and sociodemographic data and six months after participation, participants were asked via email if they entered the local health care system. CSO answered the questions for themselves and in a third-party rating for PA unwilling to enter treatment. Results 107 PA (34 years ( SD = 13.64), 86% male) and 38 CSO (53 years ( SD = 6.11), 28.9% male) participated in the two telemedicine sessions. After participation, 43.9% of the PA and 42.1% of the CSO reached the health care system. When there was consistency between the location of telemedicine consultation and treatment locally, over 90% of participants arrived (PA: 92.3%, CSO: 100%). Conclusion The results from this study reveal that telemedicine services could be a promising approach to address PA and CSO and build a bridge to the local health care system. Future studies should verify if these results can be replicated in randomized controlled trials.

Abstract:
Fred Ross trained a dizzying array of community organizers. His organizing strategies proved most influential in the Mexican-American community in California. Ross led voting drives in Los Angeles before travelling north to San Jose where he recruited Cesar Chavez to join the Community Service Organization (CSO) and began to instruct Chavez in techniques of community organizing. This article focuses on the development of Ross’s organizing techniques while working with dust bowl migrants in camps for migratory farmworkers funded by the Farm Security Administration. The New Deal, for Ross, provided an opportunity for community mobilization as he combined economic and cultural populism into a critique of California’s “factory farm” agricultural system.

Abstract:
PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to focus on three organizational support factors that could potentially improve organizational commitment among downsizing survivors.Design/methodology/approachUsing a sample of 2,751 employees, a secondary analysis of employee survey data examined the hypotheses that customer service orientation (CSO) and equity would moderate the strength of the two‐way interaction between perceived organizational support (POS) and perceived supervisor support (PSS) when predicting organizational commitment among downsizing survivors. In this way, the impact of CSO (H1) or equity (H2) would be stronger when POS and PSS were low. A third hypothesis (H3) examined whether survivors' organizational tenure was positively related to organizational commitment.FindingsH1 and H2 were partially confirmed, indicating that CSO compensated most when PSS was low and that equity compensated most when POS was low among downsizing survivors. H3 was not confirmed as no positive correlation was found between survivors' increased organizational tenure and organizational commitment.Research limitations/implicationsThe sample was drawn from one US organization and, because this was a secondary analysis, established scales could not be used for some constructs. Most of the variance in the exploratory factor analysis was on the first factor, POS.Practical implicationsOrganizations should make every attempt to maintain or increase survivors' CSO and equity in order to improve organizational commitment. In addition, organizations cannot necessarily rely on their longer‐tenured employees to stay committed after a downsizing.Originality/valueThe study uncovered two previously unknown findings regarding the importance of CSO and equity to the organizational commitment of survivors.

Abstract:
The control strategy of a combined sewer system incorporating three stormwater storage tanks with overflows presented here attempts to consider all aspects of acute CSO effects. These are the hydraulic and the composition components as well as the time factor. The result is an integrated approach, which is not based on the classic emission view (i.e. reduction of volume), but on pollution criteria (i.e. possible harm to the biotic community). The aim is to reduce the exceeding of critical peak values of the CSO components at critical time intervals. Control decisions will be based on continuous measurements in the sewer system and in the receiving stream. Furthermore the measurements are carried out to determine the effects (both hydraulic and chemical) of particular CSO discharges in order to evolve the critical values for the project area. The chemical and physical measurements are accompanied by a biological monitoring programme. Macroinvertebrates are sampled upstream and downstream of outfalls and at a reference site. This allows the evaluation of the control measures on an ecological basis, and thus an assessment of the ecological potential of radar-aided real-time control of the combined sewer systems.

Abstract:
Background: Solutions to create enabling nutrition environments must come from within communities and involve multiple sectors. As vital actors in community mobilization, rights-based advocacy, and accountable public institutions, civil society organizations (CSOs) can help ensure nutrition programs and policies represent and reach all community members to achieve impact. Objectives: To review attributes of civic engagement in multisectoral nutrition governance systems and to provide recommendations to increase CSO participation. Methods: We reviewed 7 national case studies of Civil Society Networks involved with the Scaling Up Nutrition movement and characterized 6 functional attributes of CSOs in multisectoral nutrition governance: identify needs of all community members, mobilize and build civic capacity, advocate for political commitments, inform program design and evaluation, ensure accountability mechanisms in public institutions, and report challenges and successes using broad media campaigns. Results: All studies described government agencies involved with multisectoral nutrition governance systems, at national and subnational levels; however, there was limited evidence of subnational platforms for CSO engagement. Although countries increased investments in public institutions for nutrition, it was unclear whether nutrition service quality improved and none reported corresponding investments in civil society. Conclusion: Our characterization identifies strategies to engage CSOs in multisectoral nutrition governance at multiple ecological levels. We hope future adaptation and application of this characterization will increase community ownership and diverse representation in nutrition governance systems. Both of these are key to enabling national and international entities to address malnutrition’s underlying determinants in ways that align with local contexts, values, and systems change processes.

Abstract:
AimWe present the evolution of primary-level HIV and AIDS services, shifting from end of life to chronic care, and draw attention to the opportunities and threats for the future of Zambia’s nascent chronic care system.BackgroundAlthough African governments struggled to provide primary health care services in the context of a global economic crisis, civil society organisations (CSO) started mobilising settlement residents to respond to another crisis: the HIV and AIDS pandemic. These initiatives actively engaged patients, families and settlement residents to provide home-based care to HIV-infected patients. After 30 years, CHBC programmes continue to be appropriate in the context of changing health care needs in the population.MethodsThe study took place in 2011 and 2012 and was part of a multi-country study. It used a mixed method approach involving semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, structured interviews, service observations and a questionnaire survey.FindingsOur research revealed long-standing presence of extensive mutual support amongst residents in many settlements, the invocation of cultural values that emphasise social relationships and organisation of people by CSO in care and support programmes. This laid the foundation for a locally conceived model of chronic care capable of addressing the new care demands arising from the country’s changing burden of disease. However, this capacity has come under threat as the reduction in donor funding to community home-based care programmes and donor and government interventions, which have changed the nature of these programmes in the country. Zambia’s health system risks losing valuable capacity for fulfilling its vision ‘to bring health care as close to the family as possible’ if government strategies do not acknowledge the need for transformational approaches to community participation and continuation of the brokering role by CSO in primary health care.

Objective: To explore public value as a management tool for measuring outcomes, in Community Support Organisations (CSOs) and determine if further research is warranted. Design: A literature review on public value and outcome measurement in the community service sector was conducted to evaluate how public value best fits with CSOs. Setting: Public value has not previously been applied to measuring outcomes in CSOs and could provide beneficial information to assist in obtaining government funding as fiscal resources decline. Main outcome measures: The following question was considered; Can a public value framework be used as a management tool by CSOs to measure the value of their service? A flow chart applying a public value framework to outcome measurement of CSOs was developed. Results: Key elements identified were indicators, measures and outcomes. Stakeholders included; government, community sector, CSOs and consumer. A public value framework has the potential to be used for measuring outcomes in the community sector however realworld application is still required. Conclusion: This study provided preliminary application for a larger study and has provided evidence of a public value framework having the potential to be applied as an outcome measurement tool for CSOs. Abstract:
Purpose Corporate social responsibility (CSR) departments are often involved with civil society organizations (CSOs) through partnerships in order to develop projects. There are valuable exchanges and adaptation experiences involved in the process that goes beyond a project’s expected outcomes. The purpose of this paper is to show how knowledge sharing in a company’s CSO partnership occurs and explain the main drivers and the kind of value that could emerge from both sides. Design/methodology/approach The authors conducted a case study and analysed it according to its contribution by depicting the main drivers to boost knowledge sharing. The authors conducted interviews and supplemented them with documents and reports. Findings The study revealed learning issues from corporate and CSO sides. The authors found asymmetry in management education between companies and CSO employees. This study highlights the relevance of adjusting vocabulary to promote knowledge sharing benefits in partnerships. The presence of a “third party” in the partnership successfully helped management understand the importance of adjusting vocabulary to ease the project lifecycle flow. Originality/value The authors demonstrate how knowledge sharing as a CSR outcome improves managerial knowledge and boosts CSOs to seek opportunities for greater cooperation. The partnering possibilities become more apparent as a CSO learns how to deal with business, understands its vocabulary, context and interests. Additionally, corporate organizational learning relies on more knowledge about how CSOs operate and more information about the local community. Knowledge sharing efforts improve an organization’s commitment to develop social projects and improve the impact and legitimacy of CSR.

Abstract:
Purpose – The purpose of this study is to evaluate the extent and effectiveness of knowledge management (KM) in community service organisations (CSOs) in Australia. CSOs are focussed on support, care and encouragement, thereby improving the quality of life of many in the community. This study contributes to a wider acceptance and management of knowledge, from a national perspective, and assists CSOs to improve practice. Design/methodology/approach – KM theory and practice is expanded through a national online survey from 89 Australian CSOs, represented by 538 employees. CSOs, as a subset of not-for-profit organisations, were selected because they contribute significantly to the economy. Existing research generally relies on case studies, offering scope for wider quantitative research to address the gap. Findings – The extent and effectiveness of KM were moderate. KM was more extensive in CSOs with a formal KM policy. Face-to-face exchange of knowledge was the major transfer method. Recognition or other incentives are needed to encourage learning and disseminating new ideas. Research limitations/implications – Other CSOs and other countries could be included, along with very small CSOs. Practical implications – Shortfalls in practice were discovered. Recommendations should improve client service by enhancing the appropriateness, consistency, quality and timely delivery of assistance. This will aid CSO sustainability by maximising limited resources. The challenge is to harness informal learning for organisation-wide learning and for hard outcomes, such as reducing costs and competing for government funding. Originality/value – A synthesised large-scale survey integrates more elements of KM practice. Existing KM ideas are combined in new ways, applied in a fresh context, indicating elements of KM that are more significant in not-for-profit CSOs.

Abstract:
The article deals with the process, concept, system and management aspects of health tourism networking. Addressing the problem of research: how to manage the networking process in health tourism. Summarizing the analysed scientific literature it can be stated that the participants of the network are not analysed individually. They are analysed in relation to other network participants, thus connecting them to a common system. Connections (links, interactions, contacts) between participants are a kind of interaction between two or more participants in a network when resources are transmitted over specific channels. Relationship is a concept that encompasses both form and content aspects. The dyadic level explores the nature of the connection between two or more network nodes. Examining the aspects of networking process management highlights the importance of strategic management and synergies with management theories: Fayol (administrative theory); agent-contract theory for networking partnerships. The aspects of management theories have applicability in the management of health tourism networking, and the decision-making process plays a crucial role – both individual and group decision making begins with a set of information that defines the situation, assesses expected benefits, anticipates possible choices, and possible consequences. The decision-making process ends with the choice of a specific alternative. By applying the CMO configuration model to the decision making process, a systematic solution mechanism is created for each problematic situation. In order for the Lithuanian health tourism segment and its organizations to function as an integrated system and develop along the path of sustainable development, it is expedient to develop a common strategy in the planning process, envisaging the vision, goals and objectives of Lithuanian health tourism and ensuring a feedback mechanism. To implement this process, it is recommended that a formal health tourism network (involving health service organizations, the scientific community) would be established, based on participant agreements. The aim of this network is to create and develop a variety of health tourism services. The resulting networks are formalized through contracts, legal acts, memoranda of understanding, general agreements, so the relationships, functions and responsibilities of their participants are clearly defined.

Abstract:
The fulfilment of child rights in Indonesia has been implemented by various parties including Community Social Organization (CSO). This study discusses the effectiveness of international fund in the implementation of child’s rights. Article 4 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) stated that state party will fulfil the rights of the child through international cooperation. CSOs with headquarters located in Medan, who manage the international funds in conducting children programs are acting as informants to this research. Depth interviews and Focus Group discussions were used as tools to obtain relevant information. The study figured out that CSOs had cooperation in implementation the child rights in Sumatera Utara Province. They cooperated with international agencies namely IOM, ACT-Japan and Catholic Relief Service. CSOs also manage to access international funds through (a) call for proposals and (b) establishing intensive communications with donor agencies. As conclusion, the use of international fund is proven to be effective based on (1) able to implement CSOs vision and mission, (2) CSOs are able to achieve program output, for example: palm oil company raise it awareness on child right and the impact to the children to access their education right especially in palm plantation area which is usually located in remote and isolated area.

Abstract:
Summary In order to meet a wide variety of social policy objectives (such as health, educational attainment, community cohesion etc.), ensuring wide access to community and youth sport programmes remains an objective of many governments. In the UK, the post 2012 Olympic Legacy Strategy, overseen by Active Partnerships under the auspices of Sport England, promoted Sportivate and Satellite Clubs programmes (aimed at increasing participation levels) through most of the rest of the decade. In order to ensure minimum standards of operation and to develop the skills of the local coaching workforce, Active Sussex (one of the Active Partnerships) commenced a Coach Support Officer (CSO) scheme with the support of the University of Chichester from 2013 to (through various iterations) time of writing. Through a longitudinal reflection/summary of the various interventions and data collection points over the last nine years, we present an overview of this scheme. Further, we outline a clear philosophy, guidelines, and accompanying set of values that extol what can be considered good (best) practice for sustainable community sport and physical activity programmes.

Abstract:
To get knowledge about the runoff, storage and combined sewer overflow (CSO) conditions since 1985 a measuring and monitoring system is working in the sewer network of the community Ense-Bremen (near Dortmund). Within this semi-urban catchment seven detention facilities are fitted out with devices for monitoring information about basin outflow, grade of volume and CSO. Since October 1986 the determined data are also used for the real-time control of that sewerage. Since its installation the monitoring system works rather satisfyingly. Especially the operating staff use its possibilities to get information about the actual condition of the sewer system. Thus, differences to the normal runoff conditions can be realised in very short time. That allows an immediate reaction in order to clear malfunctions or errors as well. However, within the ten years there have also occurred some failures at the measuring devices caused by different reasons up to a complete breakdown of the whole system during thunder-storms. All in all the results of that pilot project have been positive and are now the basis for the equipment of further detention facilities in other sewer systems with monitoring devices.

Abstract:
Pancasila is the basis of the state and the way of life of the Indonesian people. Pancasila as the basis of life as a nation and state is important to be continuously socialized and introduced to the community because the dynamics and changes of society from time to time affect the perspective and attitude of behavior in the life of the nation and state. After the reformation, Pancasila as the value of life for the nation and state was neglected because of the political situation and conditions of reform that focused on democracy, civil supremacy, and upholding human rights. This reduces the role and function of Pancasila in the life of the nation and society. Starting in 2009, a socialization program for the 4 Pillars of Nationality emerged by the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia. The program wanted to introduce Pancasila, but the use of the term became a problem because it included Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika as pillars. The program created by the MPR RI has evolved into the 4 Pillars of the MPR RI. This community service activity aims to educate and strengthen Pancasila values through correct literacy of the history of Pancasila to the community. Pancasila is the basis of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, not a pillar. The model of community service activities is carried out by media education and discussions to the community. The forms of activities carried out are parades and discussions with community and community leaders about the importance of Pancasila as the basis of the state and not pillars which will be held in January-March 2021. The results of this service activity show that first, the public in general does not know developments about Pancasila and its dynamics. which exists. Second, after the socialization of Pancasila values as the basis of the state, people began to understand and understand the development and dynamics of Pancasila. Third, the efforts to raise awareness about the correct knowledge of Pancasila are important for the community.

Abstract:
Abstract Background There is much focus on the dearth of resources within healthcare systems, with a focus on health services. In 2018, we held a speed networking event for two local areas of a HSE Community Healthcare Organisation. This highlighted the vast array of supports available to assist older people to live well. This, alongside a Listening to Older Person’s Workshop, highlighted the need for a local directory of services. Methods In considering potential networking attendees, a social determinants of health approach (Dahlgren and Whitehead, 1991) was adopted to scope all supports available across community, acute, voluntary and statutory health and social care services within the area. This was expanded on further to develop the directory. Results The directory provides details of 358 organisations, individuals and groups available to support older persons within a catchment area with a population of 13,833 older persons (CSO Census, 2016). Hospital services comprised 27 of these while community HSE and GP health services made up 130. The remaining 201 were local and national NGOs and community groups ranging in service provision, a sample of which as follows: 39 provided some level of social/education engagement, three befriending, 18 counselling, five housing specific, 11 substance dependency, 12 provided supports to persons impacted by abuse. A further 20 national NGOs provided a local service or helpline with a focus on a particular health diagnosis. Conclusion This exercise shows the vast number of services available within just one small region, to support older persons to live well at home. The directory has been approved as a template for other networks in the CHO. It is being adapted into an online version by an interagency group. Using this template nationally has the potential to overcome gaps in health service resources, and support true integration, in line with the ICPOP (2016) 10 step framework.

Fifty-two mental health workers in South Manchester were asked to complete a survey to try to identify patients with chronic mental health problems who would benefit from home-based rehabilitation. These patients were known to the services but were unwilling to attend activities in the day hospital or day centre or come into hospital for in-patient rehabilitation. Seventy per cent of the mental health workers who comprised psychiatrists, social workers and community psychiatric nurses completed the survey. Overall 68 patients were identified. Negative symptoms or defect state were the most frequently reported problems with difficulties with engaging or poor compliance being the next most frequently reported problem. There were some differences in the ranking of the order of problems by different professional groups.

Abstract:
An electric mobility ecosystem, which resembles a human-centred cyber physical (HCP) system, consists of several interacting sub-systems that constantly communicate with each other. Cyber-security of such systems is an important aspect as vulnerability of one sub-system propagates to the entire system, thus putting it into risk. Risk assessment requires modelling of threats and their impacts on the system. Due to lack of available information on all possible threats of a given system, it is generally more convenient to assess the level of vulnerabilities either qualitatively or semi-quantitatively. In this paper, we adopt the common vulnerability scoring system (CVSS) methodology in order to assess semi-quantitatively the vulnerabilities of the communication in electric mobility human-centred cyber physical systems. To this end, we present the most relevant sub-systems, their roles as well as exchanged information. Furthermore, we give the considered threats and corresponding security requirements. Using the CVSS methodology, we then conduct an analysis of vulnerabilities for every pair of communicating sub-systems. Among them, we show that the sub-systems between charging station operator (CSO) and electric vehicle supply equipment (charging box) as well as CSO and electric mobility service provider are the most vulnerable in the end-to-end chain of electric mobility. These results pave the way to system designers to assess the operational security risks, and hence to take the most adequate decisions, when implementing such electric mobility HCP systems.

Abstract:
In the end of 2015, ASEAN Community will be fully implemented in Southeast Asia. The community will bring ASEAN countries to the next stage of cooperation in order to bring prosperity to the region. However, several obstacles still have to be faced by ASEAN. Territorial dispute between Indonesia and Malaysia, Thailand and Cambodia concerning Preah Temple, Malaysia with The Phillipines over Sabah, etc are some of the problems. Other problems related to South China Sea, even involving five ASEAN members on dispute. Although it is clear that member of ASEAN countries agree to settle their problems according to ASEAN mechanism as the most respective organization in the region, on several occasions they prefer to take it bilaterally or bring it to the Hague. The assumption of non-interference principle as the organization conflict solving mechanism does not apply accordingly. As such, we have to find other ways. Peace can only be achieved through closer relations between ASEAN countries. Closer relation creates better understanding between people within those countries. If “high level” (G to G) conflict resolution does not work, we have to turn to the people. Closer relations among its people will be a “grass root’ power to force the government to end their dispute. This paper will examine how ASEAN Socio-Culture Community (ASCC), alongside CSO’s within them, will work in creating closer relations among ASEAN countries, in order to solve disputes in the region.Key words: ASEAN Community, ASEAN Socio-Culture Community, Dispute, Civil Society Organizations (CSO).

Abstract:
Service quality can be determined by comparing the perceptions of consumers for the services that they obviously received the services that they expected to get through the attributes of an enterprise service. If the received service or perceived service is what they have expected, then the perceived service delivery is good and satisfactory. Moreover, if the received service is exceeding the consumers' expectation, then the perceived service is excellent. While conversely, if the received service is lower than expected, then the perceived service is classified as a poor quality of service. Kotler (2002) explained that the definition of service is any action or activity that can be offered by one party to another, which is essentially intangible and does not result in any ownership; its production may be linked or not linked to a physical product. A service is the producer behavior carried out to meet consumer needs and desires in order to achieve customer satisfaction. Kotler also said that behavior could be occurred during, before or after the transaction. And these actions or activities are as explained below:

Civil Society Organization (CSO) is an organization founded and formed by the community voluntarily based on the similarity of aspirations, wills, needs, interests and objectives to participate in development in order to achieve the objectives of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). But many established organizations are not based on the common vision and mission required by the government. The emergence of a number of radical organizations that perform anarchist actions make people feel uneasy about the actions of mass organizations that commit acts of violence by using the pretext of religion as a justification reason. The Government in this case has considerable authority in Law No. 17 of 2013 on Civil Society Organizations where the ultimate estuary is the revocation of registered certificate which affects the dissolution of problematic community organizations. With the authority granted to the government, it is suggested that the government should be able to crack down on mass organizations which generate problematic causes and break public orders. Abstract:
Indonesia currently has Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Criminal Justice System for Children (UU-SPPA) to provide protection for children who need special protection such as child offenders, victims and witnesses. In fact, the implementation of the UU-SPPA actually only focuses on children as perpetrators. This not only shows that justice for children is still not upright especially for children who are victims of sexual violence. This is evident from the findings of a study conducted in 2019 entitled "The Effectiveness of the Convention on the Rights of the Child Victims of Sexual Violence". This study found that although Indonesia already has 2 government regulations governing the fulfillment of victims of sexual violence in the form of compensation and or restitution, none of the decisions of the Medan District Court and Lubuk Pakam contain the rights of victims. The decisions of the Medan District Court and Lubuk Pakam throughout 2018 were oriented towards providing penalties for the perpetrators. The two Government Regulations which are guidelines for implementing the Law are (a) Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 7 of 2018 concerning Provision of Compensation, Restitution and Assistance to Witnesses and Victims; and (b) Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 43 Year 2017 Concerning Implementation of Restitution for Children Who Are Victims of Criminal Acts. These two Government Regulations are the basic ingredients for the implementation of the 2019 Mandatory Servant Lecturer service dedication. This situation is the basis of community service in two districts namely Medan Baru and Medan Sunggal. Law Enforcement Officials (APH) in this case the police and the community not only obtain new information about victims' rights but also increase their awareness to guarantee the rights of children victims of sexual violence are requested in legal proceedings for perpetrators. Furthermore, the Police and the community hope that the information on these two Government Regulations can be continued both by the Regional Government Organization (OPD) and other institutions such as the Civil Society Organization (CSO) in Medan.

While court-ordered community service has been used as an alternative to incarceration and the payment of fines, little is known about the monetary and personal costs for those completing it. A case study design is used to examine court-ordered community service performed in Southeast Los Angeles. Data were gathered from a quantitative dataset of 541 court files of those assigned to community service and 32 in-depth interviews with attorneys and court-ordered community service workers. While the quantitative data and Attorney interviews found that negative outcomes of community service can drive community service workers deeper into debt and result in new warrants that place defendants at risk for rearrest, individuals that completed community service appreciated the opportunity to pay off their criminal justice debts and stay out of jail.

Abstract:
The Community Service Program was implemented with partners of the governments of Padukuhan Beneran, Purwobinangun, Pakem and the Students Community Service Program. The Community Service Program Team assisted the Padukuhan Beneran community in utilizing their yard for planting vegetables in pots. This is done to achieve food security in the form of the community being in a position where food needs for their households are adequately met. The goal of this Community Service Program is to encourage the community to make good use of their yards in order to maintain family food self-sufficiency. Yard land utilization is a strategy for increasing food independence because yard land has the potential to provide family food. This Service Program consists of three activities: counseling on community food security, counseling on the use of yard land for vegetable cultivation, and training on planting vegetables in pots.

Abstract:
Discourse on renewal of the draft law on the criminal code (RUU-KUHP) has long been discussed. One of the newest aspects studied is about criminal social work or community service orders. This idea was born because prison sentences in Indonesia have not had a positive impact on convicts. Not to mention the issue of over-capacity of prisons that caused prison chaos until the operational costs of the prison were enormous. This juridical-normative study concludes that: The social work criminal design is in accordance with the criminal law punishments. Even so far in the Criminal Code it has been known as punishment through supervision mechanisms or fines. That is, beyond the criminal sanction, there are alternatives to punishment that can be given. In contrast, in Islamic law, in fact, it is in line with the principle of criminal sanctions for social work. Where, Islam tends to avoid prison sentences. Because prisons with various patterns are more likely to have a detrimental effect on convicts than on the mashlahat side.

Abstract:
Abstract Sustainability of WASH interventions remains a challenge despite progress and evolution in thinking in the sector. Traditional approaches based on a community engagement model have failed to connect communities to the broader enabling environment necessary for ongoing WASH services. The Australian Government's AUD103 million Civil Society WASH Fund (2013–2018) mobilised civil society organisations (CSO) to engage with the WASH enabling environment by supporting the performance of WASH sector ‘change agents’ — people with primary responsibility for WASH service delivery. This approach represented an overt shift away from previous phases that saw CSOs directly delivering infrastructure and services into communities. This paper presents three tools – Strategy Mapping, Context Mapping and the Change Agent Assessment Tool – developed by the Fund's M&E Panel to test the Fund's Theory of Change (ToC) that greater engagement with the enabling environment would enhance the sustainability of WASH services. These tools were primarily developed to facilitate structured reflection by project teams about the relevance and effectiveness of their approaches, but ultimately provided valuable datasets that appear to authenticate the Fund ToC – suggesting that investing in the enabling environment for WASH services is a more sustainable policy proposition than investing directly in community WASH infrastructure and services. Abstract:
One of the strategies to improve the mothers' well-being of mothers and new-borns is optimizing the first 1000 days after birth starting from preparation for pregnancy. By optimizing pregnancy preparation, mothers are expected to have a healthy pregnancy which will affect the outcome of their pregnancy. The community service aimed to educate the public, including health care staff in Indonesia as main providers of maternal health in order to assist mothers and their partners in preparing for their pregnancy. The output of this community service is the knowledge transfer about pregnancy preparation and pregnancy period in order to optimize the First 1000 Days. The results showed that the majority of participants consisted of midwives, indicating that midwives were still enthusiastic about enhancing their knowledge regarding pregnancy. The evaluation showed that the majority of participants were satisfied with the topic provided. Similar community service is recommended to be implemented in a small scale of community group in order to have an intensive education.
