Abstract:
Tradition is a local activity with mystical nuances, a religion that has been around for a long time and flows in people's lives. The purpose of this article is to explain a cultural community tradition with its culinary variety. Community empowerment (rewang) which is represented as a joint movement to build traditions and empower together. In this paper the author uses the socio-religious study method using a phenomenological approach and theoretical framework. This approach is relevant to this study because phenomenology can analyze it to an event that some people might consider normal. However, there are hundreds of meanings that can be expressed in each blade of the Nusantara’s culinary offerings. It is also embedded in the attitude of empowering women, mothers or the entire community so that they can share recipes and cook in a tradition. There is also an educational, spiritual value that will be embedded in every culinary dish of the Nusantara. The theory that I want to use is Auguste Comte’s theory of evolution and Acculturation from Koentowijoyo's point of view. Typical foods in traditions that hold meaning include Jenang, Tumpeng, Takir, and Ingkung Chicken meat. Community empowerment is the key to the preservation of Various traditional culinary delights with their economic, cultural, and historical aspects. Keywords: Tradition, Culinary, Empowered

Abstract:
Local traditions and culture as a form of local wisdom serve as a medium to maintain and care for the harmony of the community environment. This includes harmony and unity between fellow communities when the community and nation environment is undermined by the dangers of intolerance, radicalism and terrorism. Local wisdom is one effective way to overcome it. One form of local wisdom that exists in the community is the tradition of the Ki Ageng Tarub Cultural Culture , the ancestor of the kings in Java. This research aims to reveal how the tradition of the Ki Ageng Tarub Cultural Culture can accommodate social relations between communities and even to the Surakarta palace. This research is a qualitative-exploratory, case study with an ethnographic approach and uses interactive analysis which includes data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. It is hoped that in this research, it can be known about the intent, purpose and meaning of cultural culture as well as social cohesion in the frame of local wisdom in the tradition of Ki Ageng Tarub Cultural Culture.

Abstract:
Though Fort William and Port Arthur (now Thunder Bay) used the full gamut of promotional tools to attract industry in the three decades before 1914, they relied most heavily on bonusing. Together they granted more money in bonuses to manufacturers than perhaps any other community in Canada. Such a policy occasioned much debate locally over the usefulness and propriety of using tax dollars to subsidize industry. This article examines both the extent and effects of bonusing at the Lakehead and the debate it raised. It concludes that while bonuses could, in the short run, greatly affect the rate of industrial growth, the long-term survival of manufacturing depended on favourable geography and a supportive economic environment.

Abstract:
This article contends that “hereditary punishment,” defined as, “biblical scenarios in which an act committed by a person or a group of people has negative effects on the descendants of that person or people” is the most prominent rationale offered for the exclusion of foreigners, or “people(s) of the land(s)” in Ezra 9–10 and Nehemiah 13. Whereas some exegetes contend that Ezra-Nehemiah excludes these foreigners due to a fear that “idolatrous” religious practices will proliferate among the Exile community, this article looks at how the appeals to Leviticus 18 and 20 in Ezra 9 and to Deuteronomy 23 in Nehemiah 13 reveal that these foreigners have been excluded because they committed offenses against Yahweh or the Exile community for which they and their descendants should be punished. Ezra 9, by referencing concepts found in Leviticus 18 and 20, claims that the local non-Judean population should be excluded because they committed “abominations” and thereby defiled the land. Nehemiah 13:1–3, by referencing Deut 23:4–9, claims that these foreigners should be excluded because they acted like Ammon and Moab by obstructing the Exile community’s restoration. As a result, it is unclear whether or not Ezra-Nehemiah excludes all foreigners from the Exile community or whether the exclusion is limited to non-Judeans in close proximity, who were perceived to have committed an offense of some kind.

Abstract:
The term literacy continues to evolve from time to time according to the conditions of a society. At first, UNESCO in 1997 concluded that literacy is the ability to identify, understand, interpret, communicate, and count using printed or other materials, but the meaning of literacy is much more than that, which in the end a literate community can produce something that is beneficial to individuals or society. Therefore, the prosperity of a society can be seen from the number of literate people. National Library of Indonesia has recorded it in the concept of literacy for prosperity in the Social Inclusion-Based Library Transformation program. One of the programs carried out is for the prosperity of the literacy-based economic community that also aims to support SDGs. Until now, the National Library of Indonesia has succeeded in bringing about a positive impact on the community's economy with the concept of as well as support for SDGs. In the future, there are still many things that must be researched by the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia regarding literacy for inclusive prosperity.

In this method, management is left in the “hands of local people”, who receive long-term funding, which they distribute according to the needs of the region. The aim of the study is to examine the impact and participation in the development of the territory through CLLD measures. The expert assessment and recommendations of the surveyed LAG leaders and specialists regarding the contribution of the community-led local development approach have been sought. The applied research methods in the present study are theoretical and empirical, incl. analysis, synthesis, comparison, survey, statistical processing. The results of the survey show that the majority of respondents are satisfied with the implementation of CLLD and have clear and concrete proposals for improving the approach in the next programming period. In conclusion it is necessary to note that despite all difficulties, the interest in CLLD on the part of local communities is very high, because the approach provides many opportunities to solve problems related to local development. Abstract:
Researchers and policymakers working on prosperity, happiness and wellbeing in the UK have recently reworked GDP-centred notions of progress and identified community and belonging as major determinants of a good life. The dominant notion of community in most writing on this topic draws on Putnam’s work on social capital as measured by trust and/or civic engagement. This approach, however, captures only the social aspect of community, without addressing the symbolic dimension of political discourses and their national and local effects. Using data from Newham, London, this article argues that a narrow focus on social capital obfuscates the complexity of community dynamics, leading to misconceptions about the causes of social fragmentation. In the case of Newham, we show that while survey data on social capital suggests that diversity is detrimental to community life, a more nuanced analysis reveals that it is in fact an important part of community cohesion.

Abstract:
AbstractThe growth paradigm assumes that economic growth is objectively good because it leads to increased prosperity and utility maximization. Christian ethics oppose this worldview because it rejects the idea that economic prosperity is objectively good. Instead, Christian ethics are theocentric, assuming that God and the relationship with the divine is objectively good. Material prosperity is seen to interfere with this relationship. Still, there are at least two views of the human-divine relationship that have implications for environmental ethics. The first and most popular view argues that the human-divine relationship is mediated by the human-in-community relationship. Alternatively, individualistic theism posits that the human-divine relationship is individually available without community-centeredness. This individualistic view has been criticized as leading to an insufficient ethic of environmental care, however, here we argue that a radical dualism consistent with the Christian Gospels can lead to an ethos of environmental benevolence.

Abstract:
Nepal has glorious history with tens of thousands of self sustainable farmer managed irrigation systems, which accounts for about two third of total irrigated area in the country. Sulitar Irrigation System, located in Chitwan district of Nepal and constructed almost two decades ago, is one of them. The farmers have been relentlessly working for construction, maintenance, repair and operation of the system with wider community participation. Participation is not only limited to the field level but also extends to crafting of rules and regulation pertaining to the governance of the system. Participatory approach adopted in this system has fostered transparency and accountability in the management entity with a sense of ownership and self responsibility as an asset embraced by water users. In addition, effective system of resource mobilization for Operation and Maintenance (O & M) is appreciable. Their working culture of participation, purposefulness and integrity has drawn in huge amount of internal as well as external resources to the project. Efficient networking with other organizations has led to profound resource mobilization, leadership sharing and a buildup of strong social capital. They are also well aware of the sustainability of the system and pre-requisites for it. Resource generation and O & M of the system have been institutionalized for its durability and long-term sustainability.Fundamental requirement for an irrigation system is the impact made by the system on the agriculture and livelihood of the people within the command area. Subsistence based agriculture prevailing before the service of irrigation system has now advanced to crop intensification and crop diversification paving the way for commercialization. Food security in the community has been enhanced and poor livelihood of common people has been transforming towards prosperity. Japan's new thinking on regionalism is a means of soft balancing that counters a rising Chinese influence. A "hard" balancing strategy through an alliance with the United States is insufficient because the Chinese economy is indispensable for Japan's prosperity and because China is rising through soft power. Japan's response uses the concept of community based on universal values.

Russian immigrants exerted a significant impact on the formation of the Argentine nation at the turn of XIX and XX centuries. At that time, immigrants from Russia were fourth-largest diaspora in Argentina. Over the past century, immigration from Russia to Argentina showed a pronounced wave pattern that primarily depended on the political developments in Russia. After experiencing a period of cultural and economic prosperity in the early and mid-XX century, modern Russian diaspora in Argentina declined considerably in terms of scope and level of its social influence.

Abstract:
Scholars of American religious history have used the term “New Thought” to refer either to individuals and churches that officially joined the International New Thought Alliance (INTA) or to American metaphysical religions affiliated with Phineas Quimby, Mary Baker Eddy, and Emma Curtis Hopkins. New Thought writers shared the idea that God is Mind. While many New Thought writers focused on healing, in this article I concentrate on those who wrote about prosperity and claimed that if one shifted one’s thinking toward abundance, God could manifest that reality. I argue that New Thought prosperity theology became popular in America in the late 1800s and early 1900s because its authors avoided the “New Thought” label in favor of traditional Christian terms, allowing New Thought prosperity theology to influence mainstream American culture, including the business community.

Tax assessments provide unique information about the individual and relative wealth of early modern individuals and communities, but few such sources exist for early modern Ireland, so the survival of a tax assessment for the most prosperous inhabitants of Clonmel in 1642 is a unique source for the study of the town’s economic community in that year. An analysis of the tax paid by these men and women provides not merely unrivalled information about their personal wealth but also about the relative prosperity of different occupation groups, including merchants, craftsmen and women, the most important sectors of the local economy and settlement patterns in one early modern Irish town.

Abstract:
The free market-based policies of the corporate community model have skewed economic development across the South. For many small, rural communities, the consequences of global capitalism have resulted in declining real wages, high underemployment, and increasing rates of income inequality. Backed by recent scholarship and grassroots movements that suggest that both civic engagement and the presence of smaller-scale, locally controlled enterprises can help determine whether communities prosper or decline, this paper explores the links between social structure and rural development in the South. The goal is to expand our understanding of civic community theory as an alternative to the neoclassical economic model of development. Using a local problem-solving framework, we suggest that a departure from the traditional, neoclassical path of development is in order. We conclude that rural policy makers must establish a role for civic community in the rural development process if they wish to protect the welfare of workers and communities, while increasing the prospects of economic growth with prosperity.

The Economic system can be divided into three namely: a First capitalist economic system that is all economic activity submitted to the market. Second, the communist economic system is all things governed by the government. The third is a mixed economic system that is a combination of the two economic systems above (capitalist and communist). Indonesia should adopt a mixed economic system because firstly, Indonesia is an emerging country, where market failures often occur due to uneven information or accessibility to transportation and communication facilities. The second is that there are still many Indonesian people are below the poverty line. Thirdly most Indonesians have businesses that are still classified into small and medium enterprises that still can not compete perfectly with a bigger business.

Abstract Monitoring, calculation and assessment of community pharmacy prosperity with the help of financial analysis indicators for years 2003-2012, using financial statements was conducted, with respect to profitability parameters such as gross and net profit ratios. These ratios reflect various changes that hold between years 2003 and 2012. Under the time of financial crisis, recession and serious socioeconomic changes the profitability parameter gross profit ranged from x2003-2011=14.3-22.8% (average=19.2%, mean=19.8%, σ=2.4), but in 2012 decreased on 14.3%. Net profit ranged x2003-2011 = 2.3-18.3% (average=14.6%, mean =16.6%, σ = 4.9), while in 2012 reached only 2.3%. All changes that have taken place in the society had impact on community pharmacy finance by worsening its profitability.
