Abstract:
Multihop wireless networks consist of mobile terminals with personal communication devices. Each terminal can receive a message and then send it to another terminal. In these networks, it is important to assign channels for communications to each terminal efficiently. There are some studies on this assignment problem using a conventional edge coloring in graph theory. In this paper, we propose a new edge coloring problem in graph and network theory on this assignment problem and we discuss the computational complexity of the problem. This edge coloring problem takes the degree of interference into consideration. Therefore, we can reuse the channels more efficiently compared with the conventional method.

Abstract:
The mobile radio communications industry has recently witnessed a new demand for terminal equipment which can provide both communications and position reporting capabilities on a global scale–for example, the automatic monitoring of secure cargoes during international transportation. Thus, there is much interest in the development of land mobile satellite terminal equipment in the form of a single integrated unit which can economically provide both of these facilities. In this paper the development of such a unit is considered using the Inmarsat-c satellite communications service and the Navstar Global Positioning System (GPS), with extension to GLONASS possible in a receive-only version.

Abstract:
Physical terminals provide network services to upper-layer applications, but their limited memory and processing power make it challenging to perform security updates and patches, leaving them vulnerable to known security threats. Attackers can exploit these weaknesses to control the terminals and attack the network. To restrict unauthorized access to the network and its resources, appropriate access control mechanisms are necessary. In this paper, we propose a fine-grained access control method based on smart contracts (FACSC) for terminals in software-defined networking (SDN). FACSC utilizes the attribute-based access control (ABAC) model to achieve fine-grained control over terminal access networks. To ensure the security and reliability of access control policies and terminal-related attribute information, we utilize smart contract technology to implement the ABAC model. Furthermore, we leverage the programming protocol-independent packet processor (P4) to filter and forward packets in the data plane based on the packet option field, enabling rapid terminal access. Experimental results show that our proposed method achieves fine-grained secure authentication of terminals in SDN networks with a low authentication processing overhead.

Abstract:
This paper introduces an efficient machine-to-machine (M2M) communication model based on 4G cellular systems. M2M terminals are capable of establishing Ad Hoc clusters wherever they are close enough. It is also possible to extend the cellular coverage for M2M terminals through multi-hop Ad Hoc connections. The M2M terminal structure is proposed accordingly to meet the mass production and security requirements. The security becomes more critical in Ad Hoc mode as new nodes attach to the cluster. A simplified protocol stack is considered here, while key components are introduced to provide secure communications between M2M and the network and also amongst M2M terminals.

Abstract:
With the development of the wireless internet, there are more and more mobile terminals. Without a mobility management protocol a mobile terminal could not communicate with other terminals when it is away from its home network. Mobile IPv6 is proposed which is host-based mobility management protocol. But it has several drawbacks, such as wireless link resource waste, load or consumption of power in mobile terminal is large. To overcome the weakness of host-based mobility management protocol, network-based mobility management protocol called Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) is standardized by the IETF NETLMM working group, and it is starting to attract considerable attentions. Although several proposals have been made for Route Optimization (RO), they still need too many communications and it may cause communication delay. In this paper we proposed a time-efficient RO in PMIPv6 by optimize the procedure of it. We use the characteristic of anycast to achieve the time efficiency. By the mathematical analysis we prove that the proposed protocol has shorter latency and supports faster mobility of the mobile terminals.

Abstract:
With the increasing application of power monitoring terminal and the increasing demand for its function, it is necessary to upgrade the field embedded software remotely. The existing online upgrade schemes generally deal with the terminals one by one, and there are also distributed upgrade schemes. However, due to the large differences in the communication performance of terminals in different places, there is a problem of load imbalance, resulting in the low efficiency of the whole upgrade. Aiming at the efficiency of remote online upgrade of power monitoring terminal, a distributed load balancing remote upgrade method is proposed. The power monitoring terminal is upgraded at the same time through the cloud platform, and the genetic algorithm is used for load balancing processing, so as to improve the efficiency. The practical results show that this remote upgrade method improves the upgrade efficiency of the terminal by comparing a variety of upgrade schemes, compared with no load balancing method, the average time of upgrading a terminal is reduced by 36%, which achieves good application effect in practical application.

Abstract:
The mobile geographic information service (GIS) is the key technology to realize mobile navigation. In this study, a transmission method of mobile geographic information services under the 4G terminal grounded on the channel Porter interval equalization algorithm is proposed. The multisensor information collection method of vehicle networking is adopted to realize data collection and data structure characteristics analysis of mobile GIS under the 4G terminal. Subsequently, the transmission channel model of mobile GIS under the 4G terminal is constructed. Furthermore, the interference suppression in the transmission process of mobile GIS under 4G terminals is realized by using an autocorrelation matching filter and an adaptive association rule mining algorithm. According to the symbol feature distribution of the mobile GIS channel under the 4G terminal, the Porter interval equalization approach is implemented to realize the segmented equalization adjustment of mobile GIS. The K-means clustering procedure is also implemented to coordinate the data packet adjustment in the process of mobile geographic information service transmission within the background of a 4G terminal. According to the dynamic distribution characteristics of the clustering center, the mobile geographic information service transmission under the 4G terminal is adaptively controlled to reduce the influence of channel fading and intersymbol interference caused by channel spreading. The simulation outcomes express that the suggested technique has strong anti-jamming ability, reduces the communication error rate, significantly diminishes the end-to-end delay performance, and improves the stability and accuracy of the mobile geographic information service transmission under the 4G terminal.

Abstract:
With the construction of power Internet of Things, the network scale is constantly expanding, the network structure is increasingly complex, and the number of terminals is increasing rapidly, resulting in huge pressure on network security protection, and it is urgent to build a credible operation environment to ensure that the Internet of Things runs safely and reliably. This paper proposes a power Internet of Things architecture combining trusted computing and blockchain. The architecture ensures the credibility and security of the terminal based on remote integrity verification and access control policy verification. A method for malicious node detection based on blockchain (MMNDB) is placed in acquisition layer. It is used to monitor the status of each acquisition devices in time, detect the malicious terminal in time, isolate the suspicious terminal with low credibility from the power Internet of Things, and ensure credibility of the acquisition terminal and the data collected. Under premise of ensuring the communication efficiency of the power communication network, this architecture can greatly ensure the stable working of the power Internet of Things.

Abstract:
This paper provides details concerning the design of an integrated voice and data communications link for a Local Area Network that must utilize residential type 2 pair telephone wiring as its transmission medium. The communications link can provide a worst case total data rate of 80 K bps (full duplex), 80 K analog samples of audio signals total (full duplex), as well as power and ground for remote terminals. In a system design that utilizes the communications link discussed here, the above total values of data and audio information flow can be divided by the number of terminals anticipated in the system in any ratio desired. The intent of the design of the communications link is to provide what is believed to be the most cost effective means of implementing an intelligent network of consumer based products in a residential or small business type of environment. In this document, the original technical problem is discussed along with details concerning the development of the solution presented here. The system design example that is presented is only provided as an aid to understanding how the communications link can be applied and is not the focus of the central concept. In that example, the system is comprised of 8 remote terminals and one central control terminal — all of which are voice and data devices. Therefore, the available continuous data rate per terminal is 10 K bps with 5 Khz full duplex audio.

Abstract:
In millimeter wave (mmWave) communication systems, beamforming-enabled directional transmission and network densification are commonly used to reduce high path loss and improve signal coverage quality. The combination of the two approaches will pose a challenge to radio resource allocation, which is especially true when terminals move frequently. The existing works presented some effective solutions for resource allocation in dense mmWave cellular networks, but they assumed that terminals move infrequently. So, these works cannot be directly applied to the dense mmWave cellular networks where terminals move frequently. In this paper, based on the results of the existing beamforming training (BFT) information-aided radio resource allocation algorithm, we propose a relay selection method to select a set of reasonable relays to take over the terminals whose performance deteriorates due to movement, which can ensure that each selected relay is as close as possible to the original performance of the corresponding moved terminal. Then, the resource allocation problem between the Device to Device (D2D) links from the selected relays to the corresponding moved terminals is formulated as a potential game model. By designing the utility function reasonably, the resource allocation results on the D2D links can converge to a Nash equilibrium solution. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme adapts to the scenario with frequent terminal movement, restrains the sharp performance decline caused by terminal movement, and outperforms the existing related algorithms in terms of average energy efficiency and throughput per link.

Abstract:
ntelligent power consumption system is an important mean to improve the energy efficiency. An embedded terminal was designed in the system, which can achieve intelligent control and management for devices, and reduce power and energy consumption. The terminal in the system was designed and implemented based on ARM platform, using B/S structure to communicate with the remote server through Internet. It has several wired and wireless communication interfaces, which can be connected with various electric equipments. For extensibility, the software of the terminal uses a hierarchical and modular approach which includes communication layer, device layer, interface layer and intelligent power consumption layer. Meanwhile, the communication protocol and the unified interface design in the terminal make sure that the terminal can interact with the remote server reliably and timely. Through experiments in the demonstration operation region, it concludes that the terminals work stable and reliable, and equipment intelligent control and management are fulfilled. The system has many advantages such as modularity and scalability, which can be widely used in many fields like smart grid and smart home, etc.

Abstract:
The smart grid in the twenty-first century is constantly innovated by the big data technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) technology. As the second generation of a power network, the smart grid keeps developing towards automation and intelligence, driving the energy conversion rate, power utilization rate, and energy supply rate to increase. However, in the smart grid, the power terminal has a pivotal role in controlling, monitoring, and regulating the production process of electricity, which is currently facing many security challenges. The most critical aspect of smart grid security management is to ensure the security of power terminals. Existing solutions generally monitor power terminal devices by monitoring power terminal traffic; however, such security policies can only monitor attacks with characterization properties at the traffic level and cannot be used to monitor power terminal devices directly. Based on this, this paper reviewed the literature on intelligent operation and maintenance and deep learning at home and abroad and comprehensively analyzed the research progress of intelligent operation and maintenance, and in the comparative analysis of deep learning methods, because the convolutional neural network has fewer connections and parameters and can control the capacity by controlling its depth and width, it is convenient to establish a model with larger learning capacity, so a convolutional neural network is chosen for data analysis. In this study, we choose to use the convolutional neural network to analyze the data, combine the monitoring, management, and fault location of operation and maintenance work organically through some deep learning algorithms, reduce the number of model layers through a deep learning-based security monitoring technology for electric power terminals to improve the training speed and efficiency, and achieve all-round protection for electric power terminals at the device level and the network level. The management of urban smart grid dispatching operation also requires strict implementation of relevant technical standards to ensure the standardized operation and enhance the safety and stability of grid operation.

Abstract:
The Argo buoy detects marine environmental data by making profile movements in the ocean and transmits the profile detection data to the shore base through the communication terminal. However, due to the large volume of data collected from profile detections and the continuous operation of the terminal, the remote communication of buoys is characterized by lengthy communication times and significant power consumption. A low-power Beidou transparent transmission terminal is designed to solve these problems in this paper. The terminal performs low-power operation management and power management for terminal remote communication. After the end of a communication process, the microcontroller turns the Beidou module power off and enters STOP mode. Before the next communication process begins, the serial port wakes up the microcontroller, which powers up the Beidou module. Before the remote communication, the microcontroller compacts the profile detection data collected by the buoy to reduce the quantity of remote communication data. In this paper, a variety of data compression methods are used to compare the compression rate, and the best compression method is selected according to the format characteristics of the data. The results show that the Beidou transparent transmission terminal of the Argo buoy can realize low power consumption for remote communication in ocean exploration. The terminal reduces power consumption by 77.282% per communication, and the average number of remote communications for each profile detection data are reduced by 55 times. The low-power Beidou transparent transmission terminal improves the battery life and is conducive to the long-term operation of the buoy.

Abstract:
With the development of new satellite payload technology, in order to improve the utilization of system resources, research is based on software-defined network (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) gateway architecture. Based on this architecture, the system realizes global resource management and overall data distribution, which can solve the problem of resource allocation and maximum/minimum rate guarantee between different VNO terminals under different beams, different gateways, and different satellites. For this, a global bandwidth management method can be used which is mainly a process of management to control the traffic on a communication link. The proposed global resource management and control method can be based on the rate guarantee value of the VNO/terminal configured in the system as the basic limiting condition and reallocate the rate guarantee value limiting parameter according to the resource application status of the online terminal. The method can maximize the resource utilization of the entire satellite communication system and satisfy the resource request of the user terminal as much as possible.

Abstract:
With the rapid development of the time-sharing rental business model for electric vehicles, the remote control speed of the electric vehicle terminals device, as the most important part of the whole time-sharing rental business process, affects directly the integrity of the business process and the using feelings of consumers. However, the traditional remote control system by using general packet radio service (GPRS), 3G, and 4G long term evolution (LTE) wireless communication methods responds longer and slower in weak signal area, which directly affects the user’s feeling and management strength of platform management center for the electric vehicle. Therefore, in this paper, (1) the acoustic communication technology as an auxiliary communication method is introduced in the novel vehicle terminal; (2) In order to increase the anti-noise ability, “amplitude-shift keying (ASK) + frequency-shift keying (FSK)” compound modulation and “double microphone input” technology are used in the vehicle terminal, which develops a novel vehicle terminal with the high anti-noise acoustic wave communication function for the electric vehicle in time-sharing rental mode; and (3) the mobile phone acoustic waves can be used by the proposed vehicle terminal to control the door of electric vehicle, which provides a firm technical support for ensuring the fluency and completeness of the whole process. Tests prove that the acoustic communication technology of the novel vehicle terminal can realize the rapid response of the vehicle terminal, which effectively solves the problem of a prolonged and slow response in the vehicle terminal of the electric vehicle in the weak signal area.

Abstract:
Satellite communication (satcom) is experiencing increased interest to cover the connectivity gaps of terrestrial networks. To ensure high performance and throughput for the user—and even more so in Communications-On-The-Move(COTM) systems, e.g., in aeronautics—steerable antennas such as phased arrays are required to adjust the beam so as to follow the satellite’s trajectory. The mutual movement of terminals and satellite in COTM systems calls for a broad Field of View (FoV) and, hence, poses a challenge to common planar systems. For improving the FoV, common solutions require ad hoc designs, such as multi-mode antennas, wide half-power-beamwidth antennas or metasurfaces. By contrast, 3D arrays are able to cover a wider angular region by the 3D allocation of the antennas. In this paper, the benefits and drawbacks of moving from 2D (planar) arrays to 3D phased arrays are investigated. Multiple geometrical configurations are analyzed, keeping in mind the size requirements of aeronautic terminals. The best configuration is, hence, an array capable of enhancing the FoV of the terminal. The proposed antenna architecture offers a good trade-off between design complexity and performance, and it could be further developed to become an aeronautic-grade terminal aperture.

Abstract:
In this paper, we consider the uplink of a hybrid satellite-terrestrial spectrum sharing system, in which satellite terminal communicates with satellite through terrestrial relay-assisted transmission. To accommodate expanding networks within limited spectrum, spectrum sharing is considered a promising candidate. For the system in which satellite terminals and terrestrial terminals share spectrum, we propose opportunistic relay selected spectrum sharing method based on decoding and forwarding protocol. Selecting the optimal relay station is aimed at minimizing the outage probability of the satellite terminal and maximizing the throughput of the system. Due to spectrum sharing policy and imperfections in the RF front end, we also consider the effects of cochannel interference (CCI) and hardware impairments (HIs). The satellite link is modeled as Shadowed-Rician fading, and the terrestrial link uses Nakagami-m fading. In addition, we deduce the closed-form analytical expressions of the satellite terminal outage probability, deduce the asymptotic expressions under the condition of high signal-to-noise ratio, and analyze their achievable diversity orders. Numerical and simulation results validate the performance gain of opportunistic relay selection compared to partial relay selection. Monte Carlo simulations confirm the correctness of the theoretical analysis and illustrate the effects of CCI and HIs on the system.

Abstract:
Existing applications of mining intelligent mobile terminals are all for the sensing of individual terminals, without considering the group attributes of terminal carriers and the cooperation opportunities brought by terminal movement, which is unable to complete large-scale and complex sensing tasks. In this article, mobile crowd sensing and mine safety monitoring are combined to construct the mobile crowd sensing network for coal mine. Aiming at the task allocation problem, a task allocation mechanism based on a weighted undirected graph is proposed. First, considering the similarity of task completion location and time and quality of data collected, the reputation evaluation model of miners is designed. In order to optimize the reputation of miners participating in the task, an emergency task allocation algorithm based on the weighted undirected graph is proposed. Second, based on the fatigue degree of miners and the residual energy of intelligent mobile terminals, the miner status evaluation model is constructed, which is combined with the reputation model to design a nonemergency task allocation algorithm, aiming at further optimizing the task allocation results. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has better performance in allocation time for sensing task, task allocation success rate, average reputation, and status value of miners.

Abstract:
A terminal for remote control of charging stations for electric vehicles (EV) powered by renewable energy has been presented in this paper. This terminal enables remote control of EV chargers, smart batteries, smart electricity meters, fiscal cash registers (FCR), as well as remote control of renewable energy sources and other devices within the station. This terminal also makes charging stations more accessible to electric vehicles users, to electricity distribution companies, to electricity suppliers, to tax administrations, and finally to users and owners of charging stations. Therefore, communication and control with all these devices and systems is integrated in one device. Realization of hardware and software of such a terminal has also been described in this paper. The net result of development and commercialization of terminals would encourage an increase in the use of electric vehicles powered by energy from renewable sources, which would cause a decrease in the level of air pollution and all negative effects it causes in the future. Different categories of this device are considered. Moreover, although it is a device with embedded software, a very advanced method was used, that is, a model-driven development method, which enables fast and more efficient development and maintenance of the device. The results of the application of this method to the terminal for remote control of fiscal cash registers are provided. They were compared with the results of the development of the terminal for remote control of smart meters without applying this method. A simulation of the development of the terminal for remote control of the station is also provided. The presented method can be used in the future for faster and better-quality development of embedded software.
