Abstract:
The purpose of this phenomenological study was to gain a deeper understanding of interactional pathology among couples with the morbidly jealous male partners by examining the lived experiences of 5 female partners. The study attempted to answer the main research question which was, "How do women experience their communication with their morbidly jealous husbands?" along with some sub questions in different dimensions of marital life. The major data collection tool consisted of semi-structured interviews (Seidman, 2013). Forty to sixty-minute interviews were conducted with each participant. Data analysis included a three-phase process: description, reduction, and interpretation. The latter was completed using the qualitative content analysis by Colaizzi (Colaizzi, 1973). Four categories of lived experiences indicating interactional difficulty among the couples were obtained from the data analysis. These interactional damageswere evident in the experiences of all the women interviewed and consisted of themes related to boundaries, control, intimacy and ‘meta-damages’. The results of the study revealed that the damages begin with those related to boundaries, develop to control and intimacy rooted in meta-damages and finally terminate marital relationships.

Penyakit kusta merupakan penyakit yang mengerikan bagi orang awam, karena kondisi tubuh dengan luka terbuka disertai kecacartan yang terjadi pada anggota tobuh, serta kondisi tubuh yang kotor.Gambaran tubuh penderita kusta yang mengerikan adalah alasan utama terjadi stigma sosial. Penderita kusta yang cacat tidak mampu bekerja dan mereka kehilangan pekerjaan mereka dan kemandirian ekonomi mereka. Selain itu, mereka kehilangan harga diri dan kualitas hidup sebagai akibat stigma. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari informasi tentang “Pengalaman Keluarga Merawat Penderita Kusta Dalam Menghadapi Stigma Masyarakat Di Kelurahan Limo Depok - Jawa Barat”. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskritif kualitatif fenomenologi, dengan menggunakan analisa metode Colaizzi, yang dilakukan pada sembilan partisipan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ada tiga tema utama yaitu pemahaman keluarga terhadap perawatan kusta,pengalaman keluarga penderita kusta dalam menghadapi stigma,dan pandangan terhadap stigma yang dihadapi karena ada anggota keluarga menderita kusta. Keluarga menjaga anggota keluarga yang menderita kusta dari stigma masyarakat dengan menutupi kondisi kesehatan tersebut. Masalah atau hambatan yang dialami keluarga dalam menghadapi stigma dari masyarakat ketika penderita mengalami perasaan sedih dan menyendiri. Keluarga berharap agar mendapatkan penyuluhan kesehatan dalam mencegah kecacatan pada penderita kusta. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan pelayanan kesehatan, keluarga dan pemerintah dalam mengeluarkan kebijakan untuk mengeliminasi penyakit kusta di Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Colaizzi, Kusta, Stigma

AbstrakSeksualitas merupakan keinginan menjalin relasi, kemesraan, dan cinta. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap fenomenapengalaman seksualitas perempuan selama masa kehamilan. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi deskriptif sesuaifilosofi Hussler digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode wawancara semi terstruktur dan dianalisisdengan menggunakan tehnik analisis data Colaizzi. Delapan ibu post partum berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitianadalah diidentifikasinya empat klaster tema, yaitu ekspresi kasih sayang selama masa kehamilan, coital activity selama masakehamilan, pelayanan keperawatan seksualitas selama masa kehamilan, dan harapan terhadap petugas kesehatan.Direkomendasikan bagi perawat untuk proaktif melakukan pengkajian dan memberikan asuhan keperawatan yang berhubungandengan aspek seksualitas selama masa kehamilan. Bagi institusi pendidikan direkomendasikan untuk mengembangkan kurikulummata ajar keperawatan maternitas terkait konseling seksualitas pada level magister keperawatan maternitas.Kata kunci: kehamilan, perempuan, seksualitasAbstractSexuality is the desire to build relationships, intimacy, and love. This study aimed to reveal the phenomenon of women’sexperience of sexuality during pregnancy. This study was a qualitative approach with descriptive phenomenology accordingto Hussler philosophy employing semi-structured interview. Data was analyzed using Colaizzi method. Eight postpartummothers participated in this study. The result identified four groups of themes, namely expressions of love during pregnancy,coital activity during pregnancy, nursing sexuality services during pregnancy, and women’s expectation of health workers. Itis recommended that nurses are to proactively review and provide nursing care related to aspects of sexuality during pregnancy.Educational institutions are suggested to develop curriculum-related teaching maternity nursing sexuality counselling inmaternity nursing master degree.Keywords: pregnancy, sexuality, women

Abstract:
Nursing educators are challenged to construct nursing curricula that seek to prepare competent, humanistic nurses sustaining the spark to care. A qualitative research study, grounded in the phenomenological approach of Colaizzi (1978), explored the impact of a course, titled Body, Mind and Spirit: The Humanities in Nursing, to support this humanistic aspiration. The research findings suggest that the course experience impacted the students in augmenting an understanding of the human condition through the lens of humanities' modalities. The intentional, integration of humanities in nursing courses has the potential to sustain the student inspiration to provide humanistic care.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to explore the social/emotional development of gifted learning disabled students using a phenomenological approach. A series of interviews was conducted with four gifted learning disabled boys aged nine to twelve, their parents, and their teachers. Using procedures recommended by Colaizzi (1978) and Kruger (1979), themes were extracted from the interviews, and then grouped into categories to provide an overall description of the characteristics of gifted learning disabled children's social/emotional development. After comparing these characteristics to those of gifted children and learning disabled children, implications were drawn for educational programming and future research.

Studi kualitatif fenomenologi ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam tentang pengalaman spiritualperempuan dengan kanker serviks dalam konteks asuhan keperawatan kanker serviks dan bagaimana perempuan dengan kankerserviks memaknai pengalaman tersebut. Partisipan dipilih dengan metode purposif sebanyak enam perempuan dengan kankerserviks yang dirawat di sebuah RS di Jakarta. Data diperoleh dengan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dilengkapi catatanlapangan. Analisis data dengan teknik Colaizzi menghasilkan sepuluh tema. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan kehidupanperempuan dengan kanker serviks diawali dengan ketidakpastian dan mengalami penderitaan sepanjang hidupnya tetapisemangat, keyakinan akan Tuhan, dan harapan menjadikan kehidupannya lebih pasti. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan implikasiterhadap pelayanan keperawatan untuk meningkatkan pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan yang holistik terhadap klien dengankanker serviks.

Parents’ experience in caring for children with autism is an amazingly hard and uneasybecause parents’ roles are very important in behavioural development of children with autism.Purposes: this research is to get the overview of parents’ experience in caring children withautism in the age of 15–17 at T. C. Clinic. Methods: This research used qualitative method withphenomenology approach. Data sources are collected by in-depth interview and being analysedwith Colaizzi and soft ware N-Vivo. Sampling method in this research is purposive samplingwith 6 interviewees. Results: This research found 8 themes; parents’ knowledge of autism,mom’s feeling, mom’s way to care children with autism, obstacles in caring, readiness to acceptchildren with autism, facing the puberty, autism education and expectation in caring forchildren with autism. Conclusion: Parents believe in different parenting to be implemented tochildren with autism. Parents should understand and adapt the parenting with thedevelopmental needs of children with autism so children will not have prolonged problems intheir behaviour. Pengalaman orangtua dalam merawat anak autis sangatlah berat dan tidak mudah karena peranorang tua sangat penting dalam perkembangan tingkah laku anak dengan autisme. Tujuanpenelitian ini untuk mendapatkan pengalaman orangtua dalam merawat anak autis usia 15-17tahun di T.C. Klinik. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatanfenomenologi. Sumber data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara mendalam dan dianalisamenggunakan Colaizzi dan software N-Vivo. Metode sampling dalam penelitian ini adalahpurposing sampling dengan 6 narasumber. Hasil: penelitian ini menemukan 8 tema;pengetahuan orangtua tentang autisme, perasaan ibu, cara ibu merawat anak autis, halangandalam merawat, kesiapan untuk menerima anak autis, menghadapi pubertas, pendidikan autismedan ekspetasi dalam merawat anak autis. Kesimpulan: Orangtua percaya dengan pengasuhanyang berbeda-beda untuk diterapkan kepada anak autis. Orangtua harus memahami danmengadaptasi cara pengasuhan dengan perkembangan kebutuhan anak autis sehingga anak-anaktidak akan memiliki masalah dalam tingkah lakunya.

Abstract:
One of the most risky behaviors for STD transmission and HIV-AIDS is the rise of commercial sex worker activities among homosexuals. A teenager does commercial sex work because of the urge to fulfill needs, which includesphysiological, social, economic and cultural needs. This study aims to analyze the drive behavior and dramaturgyprocesses in gay commercial sex workers. This study uses a qualitative research design with a phenomenologicalapproach. Participants in this study were 5 people with purposive sampling data collection techniques. Data wereanalyzed using Colaizzi technique. The results of this study found that most of the drive behavior performed by gayadolescents is economic necessity, while the dramaturgy process that occurs is the front stage.

Abstract:
This phenomenological study explored the lived experience of nursing faculty who received caring from nursing students. Seven faculty members participated. Interviews were analyzed using a phenomenological methodology by Colaizzi (1978). Methodological rigor was achieved adhering to trustworthiness criteria of Lincoln and Guba (1985). Three patterns emerged: Opening the Door, Stepping Through, and Keeping the Door Open. The pattern of Opening the Door incorporated the themes of Being in a Caring Group and Self-Disclosing. Stepping Through encompassed themes of Acknowledging Me as a Person and Giving. The themes Respecting, Sharing, Supporting, and Connecting were included in the pattern Keeping the Door Open. Findings related to the theory of nursing as caring (Boykin & Schoenhofer, 2001) and offered insight into relationships between nursing educators and nursing students and increased understanding of the reciprocal nature of caring.

Abstract:
Purpose To investigate experiences of vocational college students majoring in nursing on mixed teaching and to provide reference for the further improvement of mixed teaching. Method Using the purpose sampling method, 8 students were selected for semi-structured interviews, and Colaizzi phenomenological analysis was used to analyze the data. Results Four core themes were extracted.: (1) The ability of autonomous learning was enhanced and classroom participation was increased; (3) The overall progress of online learning was not well controlled. The study was not thorough; (4) Online and offline teaching were disconnected, and teacher-student interaction was low. Conclusion The mixed teaching has improved the self-learning ability and classroom participation rate to a certain extent, but further efforts are needed in optimizing the teaching platform, improving the teacher’s mixed teaching ability, and maintaining students’ learning enthusiasm.

Perawatan anak di PICU merupakan perawatan total yang dilakukan oleh petugas kesehatan, sehingga keterlibatan keluarga di ruangan sangat terbatas. Keterlibatan keluarga merupakan kompenen penting dalam perawatan berpusat pada keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi perawatan berpusat pada keluarga (PBK) di PICU. Penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi dilakukan dengan teknik penentuan sampel secara porpusive sampling sebanyak 12 orang terdiri dari orangtua, perawat, dan dokter. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Transkrip verbatim wawancara dianalisis manual menurut Colaizzi menggunakan software OpenCode. Tema yang dihasilkan yaitu: (1) makna orangtua dengan anak di PICU, (2) persepsi orangtua dan perawat, (3) penerapan, (4) manfaat, (5) tantangan, dan (6) harapan penerapan perawatan berpusat pada keluarga di PICU. Ketatnya peraturan di PICU menyebabkan keluarga tidak dapat berpartisipasi merawat anak di PICU. Rekomendasi penelitian ini perlu adanya akses yang mudah bagi keluarga untuk terlibat dalam perawatan anak di PICU.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali motivasi sosial yang melatar belakangikonsumsi alcohol pada remaja, sehingga dapat dijadikan acuhan untuk pengambilantindakan dan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodedeskriptif kualitatif, partisipan berjumlah 10 orang yang dipilih sesuai criteria inklusimenggunakan snowball sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara semiterstruktur. Tahap analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunaka nteknik colaizzi. Padapenelitian ini didapatkan 7 tema besar: (1) pergaulan, (2) ajakan teman, (3) solidaritas, (4)mendapat banyak teman, (5) diakui, (6) terlihat keren, (7) kebiasaan. Kesimpulanpenelitian ini adanya peran andil lingkungan sosial mempengaruhi pilihan individu dalamkonsumsi alkohol. Alasan sosial yang menjadi pencetus melibatkan dorongan sosial yangbegitu kuat. Lingkungan sosial, proses sosial serta interaksinya didalamnya menjadikanpribadi remaja dalam memutuskan konsumsi alkohol dalam keadaan tertentu dan kondisitertentu.

Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, dengan jumlah informan 8 orang, diantaranya 4 orang putus obat dan 4 orang yang tidak putus obat. Informan kunci adalah keluarga klien sebanyak 8 orang. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan pendekatan Colaizzi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sembilan tema yaitu; pengetahuan penyakit TB, riwayat kesehatan, dukungan keluarga, penyuluhan TB, manfaat pengawas menelan obat, obat tuberculosis, efek samping obat TB, dampak/resiko putus obat TB, Sikap terhadap pengobatan TB. Saran diperlukan peningkatan kemampuan dalam memberikan pendidikan kesehatan, membuat leaflet dan diberikan pada saat klien berobat dan peneliti lanjutan dengan fenomenologi untuk menggali pengalaman putus obat secara sfesifik. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja yang tinggal di Distrik Merauke yang berusia antara 10-17 tahun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam dan FGD terhadap 10 partisipan yang setiap hari aktif menghirup lem. Teknik analisis menggunakan metode colaizzi. Penelitian menghasilkan 4 tema yakni rasa ingin tahu, faktor ketidakharmonisan dalam keluarga, ketergantungan, dan pengaruh teman sebaya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peneliti menyarankanepada pemerintah dan pihak terkait untuk melakukan pendekatan mulai dari usia dini mengenai dampak dari perilaku menghirup lem melalui lembaga swadaya masyarakat.

BACKGROUND: The relapse rate of schizophrenia patients is still high. The family has an important role in helping schizophrenia patients to avoid recurrence. AIM: This study aimed to describe the role of the family in preventing relapse schizophrenia patients. METHODS: The research used a qualitative design with a phenomenology approach. The sample consisted of 12 families who had schizophrenic patients. The samples were obtained by purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by interview and using field notes, then analyzed by Colaizzi technique. RESULTS: The results showed that the role of the family in preventing the recurrence of schizophrenia patients was of four themes, namely, acceptance, assistance, hope, and communication from the family. CONCLUSION: There are four roles of the family to prevent a patient’s recurrence. The government needs to pay attention to the families of schizophrenia patients.

Penelitian ini merupakan qualitative study dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dan pengambilan partisipan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 8 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam (indepth interview) dan menggunakan pertanyaan semi terstruktur. Analisis data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah menurut langkah-langkah dari Colaizzi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 4 alasan yang mengakibatkan wanita bekerja sebagai pekerja seks, antara lain karena himpitan ekonomi, masalah dalam keluarga, korban perdagangan manusia, dan korban pelecehan seksual. Beberapa partisipan menyampaikan bahwa alasan yang memicu sehingga mereka memilih bekerja sebagai pekerja seks adalah karena adanya himpitan ekonomi, terjebak dalam perdagangan manusia serta pernah memiliki pengalaman pelecehan seksualitas. This research is a qualitative study with phenomenological approach and participant taking using purposive sampling technique. The number of participants in this study was 8 people. Data collection uses in-depth interview techniques and uses semi-structured questions. Data analysis carried out in this study was according to the steps of Colaizzi. This study resulted in 4 reasons that resulted in women working as sex workers, among others due to economic crush, problems in families, victims of trafficking in persons, and victims of sexual abuse. Some participants said that the reason that triggered them to choose to work as sex workers was due to economic crush, trapped in human trafficking and had experience of sexuality abuse. The purpose of this study was to gain an understanding of first-generation Somali families’ experiences of parenting in the United States to discover potential barriers to effective parenting with the goal to design supportive interventions. Using descriptive phenomenological design, 20 Somali families in Seattle, Washington, were interviewed. Interview transcripts were then analyzed using steps outlined by Colaizzi. The overarching theme that emerged was “Parenting: A Balancing Act,” which represents Somali parents trying to balance traditional cultural values and parenting traditions with dominant cultural expectations. Participants expressed fear of losing their children to American lifestyle choices, such as drugs or gangs, and misuse of the American system to turn on their parents. Parents also acknowledged the benefits of access to education and health care for children. To cope with the stressors of their new life, participants sought to preserve traditional cultural and religious values, thus strengthening their Somali community.

Abstract Financial exploitation (FE) is one of the most common forms of older adult mistreatments. The World Bank defines FE as financial violence and the World Health Organization describes FE as financial or material abuse. Both international organizations recognize that FE causes deprivation/neglect leading to physical and emotional injury to victims. Older African Americans (OAA) are disproportionately affected by FE, impacting their health and welfare. A qualitative phenomenological study explored the lived experiences of FE among OAA. A Community Based Participatory Research approach was used to partner with a predominately African American-faith based community. Participant recruitment (n=12) was through community sponsored seminars that included verbal presentations, group discussions; individual surveys, Older Adult Financial Exploitation Measure (OAFEM). OAFEM data was analyzed to identify risks. Analysis of the interviews included Open and Axial coding, and data categorization. Using NVivo, Stevick-Colaizzi-Keen analysis as modified by Moustakas, five themes emerged.

Children with cancer are only eligible for phase I clinical trials (P1Ts) when no known curative therapy remains. However, the primary aims of P1Ts are not focused on directly benefiting participants. This raises ethical concerns that can be best evaluated by exploring the experiences of participants. An empirical phenomenology study, using an adapted Colaizzi method, was conducted of 11 parents’ lived experiences of their child’s participation in a pediatric oncology P1T. Study findings were that parents’ experiences reflected what it meant to have a child fighting to survive high-risk cancer. Although elements specific to P1T participation were identified, more pervasive was parents’ sense of running out of time to find an effective treatment and needing to use time they had with their child well. Even though some problems were identified, overall parents did not regret their child’s P1T participation and would recommend P1Ts to other parents of children with cancer.

Findings of the study were classified as two main concepts i.e. physical space, and equipment and software, each of which was in turn divided into smaller categories of concepts.Conclusion: The findings of the study revealed that physical space of clinical learning and use of therapeutic equipment in such spaces are contributing factors to clinical learning associated with speech therapy.

We explored outpatient’s perceptions on the quality of physiotherapy care provided in three urban primary care centers of Valdivia, Chile, through a descriptive phenomenological study. We collected data from 21 participants through semistructured interviews which were analyzed using the Colaizzi approach. Two main themes emerged: quality related to the professional and structure of the care system. Perceptions about the care received from the physiotherapist are influenced by factors such as communication, the way they treat the patient, and the trust established between patient and professional. In addition, structural aspects such as allocation of spaces, technical equipment and rehabilitation devices, access to centers, and the availability of the physiotherapist affect satisfaction and the perception of the quality of the service received. As it occurs in other health services provided by different health-care professionals, the quality of physiotherapy care is related to subjective (relational) and objective (structural) perceptions.

Violence against women has been extensively studied in various disciplines, whereas less attention has been paid to the experiences of men. Even the violent behavior of men in their intimate relationships has been mostly studied as experienced by women. This study follows Husserlian descriptive phenomenology. Twenty open-ended interviews were conducted with 10 Finnish men with a history of intimate partner violence (IPV). The data were analyzed by the method developed by Colaizzi. Findings suggested that men considered communication and dynamics of the relationship important. Fundamentally, these abusive men had a need to be respected as men, and they sought to experience human dignity. It is necessary to readjust the framework on interpersonal violence, listen to the voice of men, and develop prevention, early identification, and supportive intervention strategies for men, couples, and families. Research on IPV should be expanded to include the experiences of both genders.

The prevalence of HIV cases increases significantly in the vulnerable population; it is Transvestite. The high prevalence of HIV in transgenders requires treatment and treatment services. However, until now the transgender community is a group that is often not served in various health facilities. Transvestite identity intersections produce unique life experiences, such as multiple identities and spiritual identities. The purpose of the study was to explore the experience of transgender HIV patients when hospitalized in fulfilling spiritual needs. Research method with qualitative design phenomenology study approach. This study involved 12 transvestite participants who had been hospitalized because of HIV positive. Retrieving data using in-depth interviews, data analysis using Colaizzi. The results of the study found four themes namely (1) Spiritual according to HIV patients transvestites means believing in the existence of God; (2) Be grateful for the conditions they have; (3) get closer to God by doing good things; (4) Poor nurse services for transgender HIV patients.

Umumnya wanita dengan kanker serviks datang pada stadium lanjut sehingga mereka mengalami depresi yang ditandai dengan sikap marah, menutup diri dan kurang menerima keadaan dirinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman pasien kanker serviks dalam mengatasi kecemasan. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara indepth interview dan fieldnote. Partisipan berjumlah lima orang pasien kanker serviks yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Wawancara dilakukan di rumah sakit dan di rumah partisipan yang kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Colaizzi. Hasil analisis penelitian ditemukan empat tema yaitu, mengalami perubahan psikologis, mengalami perubahan dalam berinteraksi, memperoleh dukungan keluarga dan melakukan aktifitas spiritual. Dari hasil penelitian disarankan pasien kanker serviks membutuhkan dukungan keluarga, teman sekerja dan teman sesama kanker serviks, lebih banyak melakukan aktifitas spiritual dengan berdoa dan ikhlas dalam menerima dan menjalani pengobatannya.

Research was conducted at health centers of Jetis, Gedong Tengen and Umbulharjo 1 in May - June 2017. The participants were 7 adolescent (18-19 years old) mothers who had a 2 weeks - 12 months baby. The sampling was conducted by purposive sampling and recorded by a tape recorder. Data analysis was done manually by using Colaizzi method.ResultsFive themes emerged from the results of data analysis: 1) variation of feelings experienced from pregnancy up to delivering the baby, 2) freedom from routine of baby care, 3) early experience of baby care, 4) social support from significant other and midwives, and 5) improved confidence in baby care.ConclusionThe variety of experiences by adolescent mothers is accompanied by social support providing increased confidence in caring for their baby.

Jumlah ibu hamil HIV Posistif di Cilacap dari tahun 2016 mencapai 42 ibu. Ibu HIV posistif dihadapkan pada dua pilihan yaitu pemberian ASI atau susu formula. Pemberian susu formula yang tidak sesuai standar menigkatkan kemungkinan tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan nutrisi anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pemenuhan nutrisi anak dengan ibu HIV positif pada enam bulan pertama di Kabupaten Cilacap melalui studi kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Cilacap dengan subjek penelitian adalah ibu HIV positif. Pengambilan data melalui cara wawancara. Analisis menggunakan model Colaizzi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pilihan nutrisi yang diberikan pada anak dengan ibu HIV positif pada enam bulan pertama yaitu susu formula, kebutuhan nutrisi anak telah terpenuhi dengan baik tampak dari status gizi anak yang baik dan anak tidak pernah mengalami diare. Dukungan tenaga kesehatan dalam edukasi terkait perinsip-perinsip dalam pemberian susu formula masih cukup kurang. Perlu adanya pelayanan yang lebih komprehensif dimana tidak hanya pendampingan dalam pemilihan nutrisi anak tetapi juga pendampingan ibu/keluarga dalam memberikan susu formula dengan baik

Pendahuluan: Stress yang dihadapi oleh pasien dengan CKD yang menjalani hemodialisis dapat berakibat pada pemburukan kondisi pasien sehingga penting adanya upaya dalam mengatasi stress yang dialami atau mekanisme koping. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengeksplorasi mekanisme koping dengan pendekatan spiritual pasien CKD yang menjalani hemodialisis. Penelitian ini merupakan studi fenomenologi deskriptif. Metode: Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 15 orang yang berasal dari unit hemodialisis dengan kriteria partisipan berusia lebih dari 25 tahun, menjalani hemodialisis lebih dari 3 bulan, kesadaran compos mentis dan reguler menjalani hemodialisa 2-3 kali seminggu. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan pendekatan Colaizzi. Hasil: Dari hasil analisis penelitian di temukan 2 tema yang mencerminkan fenomena yang diteliti. Tema-tema tersebut antara lain adalah pendekatan sipritual dan pendekatan medis. Diskusi: Pendekatan spiritual lebih dominan dilakukan oleh partisipan dan merasakan manfaat dari pendekatan tersebut sehingga penting dilakukan intervensi berbasis spiritual untuk mengatasi stress yang dialami oleh pasien CKD yang menjalani hemodialisis.

AbstractThis ethnographic study tested the hypothesis that positive social interactions in sport will contribute positively to the Aboriginal identity of urban, Australian Aboriginal children. Nine male and female children aged 11-12 years were observed and interviewed. Significant responses were extracted and meanings were identified and grouped into various themes (Colaizzi, 1978). Interactions between Aboriginal participants were different from interactions with non-Aboriginal children and each provided different sources of information toward children's Aboriginal identity. The hypothesis was supported because the outcomes of interactions in sport among Aboriginal children enabled them to positively express their Aboriginal identity together in a group, speak an Aboriginal language and interact with each other in ways that further affirmed their Aboriginal identity. In comparison, non-Aboriginal peers contributed positively to Aboriginal student's self-esteem because of the positive feedback they provided in school sport. Furthermore, non-Aboriginal students' social interactions with Aboriginal peers were purposeful for making friends, acceptance and respect between each other.

Hospitalization is a process that for a reason of planning or emergency, which requires patients to stay in the hospital. Hospital patient care not only causes problems for the patient, but also for the family. The purpose of this study was to determine the family’s experience in dealing with hospitalization of critical patients in ICU Dr. Bratanata Hospital Jambi. This research is a qualitative research with phenomenology approach using Colaizzi model analysis which is implemented in Dr. Bratanata Hospital Jambi. Participants in this study were 5 participants with core family inclusion criteria who had been waiting for more than 7 days and were over 18 years old. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews.The results of the study there is a Critical Hospitalization Patient Response in the ICU room for the family consisting of physical response include fatigue, body complaints and sleep disorders; Psychological responses include anxiety, tension, fear and sadness; Social responses include reduced communication and new experiences.

The application of Evidence Based Nursing Practice (EBNP) in nursing services has focused on the hospital setting. The concept of EBNP is acceptable but difficult to implement, so it is necessary to study how nurses' perceptions of EBNP are. This study aims to explore nurses' perceptions about EBNP at Bukittinggi Hospital. Qualitative research design with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with six participants using purposive sampling technique. Criteria for inclusion in the sample are the head of the room or the team leader in the nursing service unit. Data were analyzed by the Colaizzi method. The results this research found four themes, (1) Lack of nurses 'understanding of EBNP, (2) Obstacles in EBNP implementation (3) Nurses' expectations in implementing EBNP, (4) Benefits in implementing EBNP. The conclusion this research is the lack of nurses 'understanding of EBNP, there are obstacles in implementing EBNP, nurses' expectations in implementing EBNP and the advantages in implementing EBNP</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p><em><em>Evidence-Based Practice </em><em>adalah pendekatan sistematis untuk meningkatkan kualitas praktik keperawatan dengan mengumpulkan bukti terbaik. Konsep EBNP dapat diterima namun sulit dalam implementasinya, sehingga perlu dikaji bagaimana persepsi perawat tentang EBNP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi perawat tentang EBNP di RSAM Bukittinggi. Desain penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam kepada enam partisipan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Kriteria inklusi sampel adalah kepala ruangan atau ketua tim pada unit pelayanan keperawatan. Data dianalisis dengan metode Colaizzi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan empat tema yaitu (1) Kurangnya pemahaman perawat tentang EBNP, (2) Hambatan dalam penerapan EBNP (3) Harapan perawat dalam penerapan EBNP, (4) Keuntungan dalam menerapkan EBNP. World Health Organization tahun 2003 telah merekomendasikan menyusui sebagai salah satu penanganan BBLR. Namun, ibu yang memiliki bayi BBLR mengalami kesulitan di awal persalinan. Selain itu, menyusui di Indonesia juga dipengaruhi oleh sosial dan budaya yang dipercayai sehingga memengaruhi keputusan ibu untuk memilih tetap menyusui atau tidak sama sekali di periode awal postpartum. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi makna pengalaman ibu untuk tetap menyusui bayi dengan BBLR. Penelitian kualitatif ini dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Tujuh orang partisipan adalah ibu yang pernah menyusui bayi BBLR. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam semiterstruktur, observasi, dan data sekunder pada bulan Mei – Juni 2015. Analisis data menggunakan metode Colaizzi tahun 1978. Ditemukan empat tema, yaitu pengenalan menyusui sejak dini untuk bayi BBLR, pemberian makanan pendamping air susu ibu dini sebagai alternatif dalam mengatasi kesulitan menyusui, tradisi yang dipercayai, dan lingkungan sosial memengaruhi dukungan bagi ibu menyusui serta menerima menyusui sebagai bagian dari kodrat seorang perempuan. World Health Organization in 2003 had recommended breastfeeding for LBW handling. However, LBW mothers face many difficulties during early postpartum period. Moreover, breastfeeding in Indonesia is also influenced by social and cultural belief, so it may influence mothers’ decision whether remain breastfeeding or not in early postpartum period. This study aimed to explore the meaning of the experience of mothers to remain breastfeeding their LBW infants. This qualitative study was conducted using phenomenological approach. Seven participants were mothers ever breastfeeding their LBW infants. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interview, observation and secondary data on May – June 2015. Data analysis used Colaizzi method (1978). There were four themes found namely introduction of breastfeeding since early for LBW infants, granting of early complementary feeding as an alternative to overcome breastfeeding problem, cultural belief and social environment influencing support for breastfeeding mothers as well as accepting breastfeeding as the very nature of woman. Breastfeeding LBW infants has higher difficulty le-vel, also any tradition family believe and social environment really affect support given to mothers in breastfeeding.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran resiliensi keluarga yang meliputi system keyakinan, pola organisasi keluarga dan komunikasi antar unit keluarga dalam merawat pasien hemodialisis di Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif fenomenologi dengan metode indepht interview. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah keluarga pasien hemodialisis yang didapatkan dengan purposive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa hasil rekaman wawancara dan catatan lapangan yang dianalisis dengan metode analisa Colaizzi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa resiliensi keluarga bergantung pada sumber-sumber daya yang ada untuk digunakan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan pasien penyakit ginjal kronik. Keluarga dianggap resilien jika mampu beradaptasi dan mencapai keseimbangan dalam keluarga, sehingga untuk mewujudkan resiliensi keluarga dibutuhkan peran aktif setiap anggota keluarga dalam memberikan perawatan pada pasien. Dukungan perawat juga diperlukan, diharapkan perawat melakukan skrining awal dan memberikan konseling pada keluarga pasien. Hemodialysis therapy not only gives problems to patients, but also has an impact on the patient's family life. The pressure faced by the family causes considerable stress, so the resilience of the family becomes urgently needed. This study aims to look at description of family resilience which includes belief systems, family organizational patterns and communication between family units in treating hemodialysis patients in Semarang City. This study uses qualitative phenomenological method with indepth interview method. The informants in this study were families of hemodialysis patients who were obtained by purposive sampling. Data collected in the form of interview records and field notes were analyzed by Colaizzi analysis method. This study resulted in family resilience depending on available resources to be used in solving the problems of patients with chronic kidney disease. The family is considered resilient if it is able to adapt and achieve balance in the family, so to realize family resilience it takes an active role for each family member in providing care to patients. Nurse support is also needed, it is hoped that nurses conduct initial screening and provide counseling to the patient's family. Keywords: resilience, family, hemodialysis
