Cola de fibrina (Beriplast) foi usada em 14 pacientes portadores de adenoma da hipófise, operadas por via transesfenoidal de abril a julho de 1999, para obliterar a sela turca e o seio esfeinoidal com cartilagem nasal. Em um paciente, houve perda liquórica no pós-operatório. Esse resultado confirma a eficácia da cola de fibrina no fechamento do seta e do seio esfeinoidal e na prevençã da fístula liquórica.

Abstract:
Ett av fem spädbarn drabbas av kolik under första tre levnadsmånaderna. I övrigt friska spädbarn skriker, gråter och är otröstbara minst tre timmar i sträck per dag mer än tre dagar i veckan. Trots att kolik är ett vanligt förekommande problem för både spädbarn och föräldrar finns det idag ingen effektiv behandling. Etiologin är oklar men rökning och mental ohälsa hos modern prepartum, födoämnesallergi och ett outvecklat magtarmsystem hos spädbarnet tros vara några bidragande faktorer. Denna litteraturstudie granskar åtta artiklar för att dels undersöka skillnaderna i tarmfloran mellan spädbarn med och utan kolik, om skillnaderna kan förklara kolik samt probiotikas effekt vid kolik. Granskade studier visar att förekomsten av Proteobacteria, koliforma bakterier och Escherichia coli är högre hos spädbarn med kolik. Till skillnad från spädbarn utan kolik uppvisar kolikbarn en mindre bakteriell mångfald, mindre kolonisation av Bacteroidetes och de gynnsamma bakteriesläkterna Lactobacillus och Bifidobacterium. Hos ammade kolikbarn som behandlades med den probiotiska bakteriestammen Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 erhölls i två av tre studier  god effekt av probiotika utan några biverkningar där gråttiden reducerats till mer än hälften. Resultatet varierar geografiskt och evidensen kring probiotikas effekt hos flaskmatade spädbarn med kolik är fortfarande bristfällig. Det är oklart om en förändrad tarmflora kan orsaka kolik eller är ett resultat av koliken då tarmfloran är mycket komplex och fler studier inom området behövs.
One out of five infants suffer from colic during the first three months of life. Otherwise healthy infants suffer from severe crying and are unable to be comforted during at least three consecutive hours per day for more than three days a week. Although colic is a common problem for both babies and parents, there is currently no effective treatment. The etiology is unclear, but smoking and  prepartum maternal mental illness, allergies to foods and an undeveloped gastrointestinal system in infants are believed to be contributing factors. This study reviews eight articles that examine the differences in intestinal flora between infants with and without colic, to see if the differences can explain colic and probiotic effect in colicky infants. Reviewed studies show that the prevalence of Proteobacteria, coliforms and Escherichia coli is higher in infants with colic. Unlike infants without colic, colicky infants exhibit a minor bacterial diversity, reduced colonization of Bacteroidetes and the beneficial bacterial genus of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. Breastfed colicky infants treated with the probiotic bacterial strain, Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938, obtained, in two out of three studies, a positive effect on colic symtoms without any side effects, where the crying time was reduced to less than half. Results vary geographically and evidence for a probiotic effect on bottle-fed infants with colic is still inadequate. It remains unclear whether an altered intestinal flora can cause colic or is a result of colic as the intestinal flora is very complex and more studies are needed in this area.

“Demandas políticas de las organizaciones de la diversidad sexual 2000-2005: la guerra de los colas” es una investigación que recorre los principales hitos de la lucha que han emprendido las organizaciones sexuales por la obtención de derechos civiles desde 1973, año de la primera marcha homosexual en el país, hasta el período 2000-2005, que coincide con la activación política de distintos actores que emergen tras la despenalización de la sodomía en Chile. El reportaje describe cuáles son las demandas que han nacido en el tiempo acotado, del mismo modo en que se sumerge en el trabajo de las asociaciones y sus dirigentes que luchan día a día contra la discriminación. Mediante el análisis de los datos recogidos a través de entrevistas y la recopilación de información, el reportaje fue dividido en seis capítulos agrupados en ámbitos de acuerdo a las demandas levantadas por los mismos grupos. Finalmente, se llega a un apartado de conclusiones en que se plantean los desafíos de la lucha de gays, lesbianas, bisexuales y trans de cara al Bicentenario de la República.

This dissertation is a research work in a agricultural community in the municipality of Porto Grande, in the state of Amap? in Brazil. The research aimed to investigate the produced knowledge and practices and practiced by farmers in their working practice and the relationship of these with the educated knowledge. We propose the use of Ethnomathematics as a form of reflection on the activities of this social group. Data collected from visits in loci surveyed treat the mathematical methods used by these groups of workers and the application possibilities of these in the classroom. The methodology used for this research is a qualitative approach. We discuss the work of the farmers in that community. We interviewed farm workers in their working environment and analyzed the existing mathematical knowledge in their work activities. We present two schools of Macap? some of the problems dealt with farmers to analyze the content or not schooled students facing such problems. We realize that students have difficulties to solve problems because they can not relate them to the everyday agricultural activities.
Esta disserta??o ? um trabalho de pesquisa desenvolvido em uma Comunidade Agr?cola localizada no munic?pio de Porto Grande, no Estado do Amap?, no Brasil. A pesquisa teve como objetivo principal investigar os saberes e fazeres produzidos e praticados por agricultores em sua pr?tica laboral e a rela??o desses com os conhecimentos escolarizados. Propomos a utiliza??o da Etnomatem?tica como uma forma de reflex?o sobre as atividades desse grupo social. Os dados coletados nas visitas realizadas nos l?cus pesquisados tratam dos m?todos matem?ticos utilizados por esses grupos de trabalhadores e as possibilidades de aplica??o desses em sala de aula. A metodologia utilizada para a realiza??o desta pesquisa tem uma abordagem qualitativa. Discorremos sobre o trabalho desenvolvido pelos agricultores na referida comunidade. Entrevistamos trabalhadores agr?colas em seu ambiente de trabalho e analisamos os conhecimentos matem?ticos existentes em suas atividades laborais. This study aims to examine the practices of dissemination of entrepreneurial education and interdisciplinary teaching practices, as well as the performance in the J?nior company and business incubator in the technical course in agriculture in Rio Pomba Campus of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of the Southeast of Minas Gerais. Once the professionals should be prepared for the world of work and citizenship as an entrepreneur with vision for business opportunities, the implementation of entrepreneurship education in schools of professional technical and technological education should be based on developing entrepreneurial students? skills. For this model of entrepreneurship education takes form it will be necessary for the entrepreneurial culture to be part of the whole school community, agencies and sectors involved as well as society itself. The methodology used in this study was a case study using a questionnaire applied to teachers and graduates, in order to examine what teachers think about the entrepreneurial training of students in technical courses. As for the graduates it was sought to meet their technical background and importance of entrepreneurial training in the workplace. This research has also sought to describe the guidelines for integrated technical education, analyzing and proposing a new curriculum model, identifying the main problems of education within the institution and teaching practices that match a model of professional education focused on entrepreneurial training, stimulating entrepreneurial spirit and providing tools for students to find their place in the market as well as entrepreneurs. It can be observed that teachers agree that entrepreneurial training is important for students as well as being very important in today's job market. It appeared from the students that it lacked a specific discipline and/or the incorporation of content related to entrepreneurial training. It was also noted that experiments with the J?nior company and business incubator contribute to the formation, demonstrating the importance of these experiences for the development of entrepreneurship. The current array of technical course load is very high, leaving little time for additional activities, and little is focused on the entrepreneurial training. In short, it is suggested that the curriculum be restructured and the entrepreneurial practice be also enhanced in extracurricular activities.
Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar as pr?ticas de difus?o da educa??o empreendedora e pr?ticas pedag?gicas interdisciplinares, bem como, a atua??o dos alunos na empresa J?nior e na incubadora de empresas no curso t?cnico em agropecu?ria no Campus Rio Pomba do Instituto Federal de Educa??o, Ci?ncia e Tecnologia do Sudeste de Minas Gerais. Tendo em vista que os profissionais dever?o estar preparados para o mundo do trabalho e exerc?cio da cidadania como um trabalhador empreendedor com vis?o para as oportunidades de neg?cios, a implementa??o da educa??o empreendedora nas escolas de educa??o profissional t?cnica e tecnol?gica deve basear-se no desenvolvimento de habilidades empreendedoras nos alunos. Para que este modelo de ensino empreendedor tome forma ser? necess?rio que a cultura empreendedora fa?a parte de toda a comunidade escolar, ?rg?os e setores envolvidos bem como a sociedade. A metodologia utilizada neste estudo foi o estudo de caso por meio de question?rio aplicado aos professores e egressos, com o objetivo de analisar o que os professores pensam sobre a forma??o empreendedora dos alunos dos cursos t?cnicos. Quanto aos egressos buscou-se conhecer a sua forma??o t?cnica e a import?ncia da forma??o empreendedora na vida profissional. A presente pesquisa buscou ainda descrever as diretrizes para o ensino t?cnico integrado, analisando e propondo uma nova matriz curricular, identificando os principais problemas da educa??o dentro da institui??o e pr?ticas pedag?gicas que correspondam a um modelo de ensino profissionalizante voltado para a forma??o empreendedora, estimulando o esp?rito empreendedor e fornecendo instrumentos para que os alunos encontrem seu lugar no mercado tamb?m como empres?rios. Abstract:

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva och analysera hur två olika organisationer arbetar med strategisk HRM vid högkonjunktur respektive lågkonjunktur.

Metod: För att besvara studiens syfte har vi valt att tillämpa en kvalitativ undersökningsmetod. I studien har både primärdata det vill säga intervjuer samt sekundärdata i form av årsredovisningar, årsöversikt, hållbarhetsredovisning och hemsidor använts.

Slutsatser: Den första slutsatsen i denna studie är att Coca-Cola Drycker Sverige AB och TV4 AB ser på HRM som mycket betydelsefullt och att medarbetarna är en central tillgång som kan utgöra en konkurrensfördel. Den andra slutsatsen är att Coca-Cola Drycker Sverige AB inte använder olika HR-strategier vid olika konjunkturer. Emellertid upplever vi att de gör små förändringar i sitt HR-arbete i olika konjunkturer men att de ständigt följer de övergripande HR-strategierna. TV4 AB arbetar på olika sätt med HRM vid olika konjunkturer. Dock följer TV4 AB de övergripande HR-strategierna oavsett konjunktur. Vår tredje slutsats är att Coca-Cola Drycker Sverige AB använder sig av Commitment HR-strategy och Traditional HR-strategy. TV4 AB använder sig av Commitment HR-strategy och Collaborative HR-strategy. Vår avslutande slutsats är att konjunkturer har betydelse för hur man hanterar strategisk HRM. Vi ser en tydlig skillnad mellan Coca-Cola Drycker Sverige AB och TV4 AB vad gäller strategiskt HRM-arbete i olika konjunkturer. Eftersom de befinner sig på olika marknader som är olika konjunkturkänsliga. 


Purpose: The aim of this study is to describe and analyze how two different organizations are working with strategic HRM in boom and recession.

Method: To answer the study we have chosen to apply a qualitative research method. Primary data in form of interviews and secondary data in form of annual reports, annual review, sustainability and sites are used.

Conclusions: The first finding of this study is that both Coca-Cola Drycker Sverige AB and TV4 AB look at HRM as very important, and further that employees are a key asset that can provide a competitive advantage. The second conclusion is that Coca-Cola Drycker Sverige AB does not use different HR strategies in different economic cycles. They make small changes in their HR-work in different economic cycles, but they consistently follow their overall HR policies. TV4 AB does however work in different way with HRM in different economic cycles, but they also follow their overall HR strategies regardless of the economic cycle.

Our third conclusion is that Coca-Cola Drycker Sverige AB are using the Commitment HR strategy and the Traditional HR strategy. Further that TV4 AB are using the Commitment HR strategy and the Collaborative HR strategy. Our final conclusion is that economic cycles has an impact when dealing with strategic HRM. We see a clear difference between Coca-Cola Drycker Sverige AB and TV4 AB in terms of their strategic HRM-work in different economic cycles related to their respective markets beeing sensitive to market fluctuations in different ways.

The study of the extraction of substances with value-added from waste of the wine industry is proposed due to the annual generating thousands of tons of seeds and cables, called bagasse, coming wineries of the productive region of the northeastern state of Rio Grande do Sul processes. At this moment, this material is perceived as process residue and used only as raw material for composting. Studies show that grape seed (Vitis vinifera L.) may contain compounds with high antioxidant power. The antioxidant power of the extract gives it desirable characteristics for applications in human health, and can be used as food, medicine and cosmetic formulation. In this work the grape waste were collected 20 to 30 days post-pressing and separated into two fractions: one composed only by grape seeds and the other by the remaining material (pulp, peel and bits of curl). Both fractions were subjected to supercritical extraction process using carbon + water and carbon dioxide as solvents. Process operating conditions were: temperature 35 ? C and pressures of 100, 120, 150, 200 and 250 bar, yielding data for construction of yield versus time curves. Then the mathematical modeling was applied to represent the extraction process, this study grounded on the knowledge of mass transfer. Regarding the extracts, they were assessed using DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl), aimed to determining the antioxidant power. As a result, it was observed that the extracts of the pulp, and pieces of bark curl had a high antioxidant power and the mathematical model employed showed high adherence to the experimental data represented by the extraction curve.
O estudo da extra??o de subst?ncias com valor agregado dos res?duos da ind?stria vin?cola ? proposto devido ? gera??o anual de milhares de toneladas de sementes e cabos, chamados de baga?o, oriundos dos processos produtivos das vin?colas da regi?o nordeste do estado do Rio Grande do Sul. At? o presente momento este material ? percebido como res?duo de processo e utilizado somente como mat?ria-prima para compostagem. Estudos demonstram que as sementes de uva (Vitis vin?fera L.) podem conter compostos com elevado poder antioxidante. O poder antioxidante do extrato confere a ele caracter?sticas desej?veis para aplica??es em benef?cio da sa?de humana, podendo ser utilizado como alimento, medica??o e na formula??o de cosm?ticos. Neste trabalho os res?duos de uva foram coletados 20 a 30 dias p?s-prensagem e separado em duas fra??es: uma constitu?da s? por sementes de uva e a outra pelo material restante (polpa, casca e peda?os de cacho). As duas fra??es foram submetidas ao processo de extra??o supercr?tica, utilizando di?xido de carbono e di?xido de carbono + ?gua como solventes. As condi??es operacionais de processo foram as seguintes: temperatura de 35?C e press?es de 100, 120, 150 200 e 250 bar, gerando curvas de rendimento versus tempo. Aplicou-se ent?o a modelagem matem?tica ao processo de extra??o, estudo este embasado nos conhecimentos de transfer?ncia de massa. Em rela??o aos extratos, os mesmos foram analisados pela metodologia DPPH (2,2-difenil-1-picril-hidrazil), visando ? determina??o do poder antioxidante. Como resultado, observou-se que os extratos da polpa, casca e peda?os de cacho tiveram um elevado poder antioxidante e o modelo matem?tico empregado apresentou alta ader?ncia aos dados experimentais representados pela curva de extra??o.

There are several theories of consumer behavior showing that people are impacted by experiential elements at the time consumption of a particular product, service or content. The main articles on the subject point out that these experiences can be classified according to dimensions that have affective, sensory, cognitive nature, activity and identification. If in one hand, the power of "word of mouth" through electronic social networking plays a significant role within the process of the shopping experience of consumers, on the other hand, the literature presents results that show that brands that develop emotional bonds are more likely to having loyal customers. Therefore, to understand how networks and virtual brand communities can provide inputs to the appearance of one or more dimensions of consumption experience was the great motivator for conducting the present study. Analyze how networks and virtual communities can be used in forming the consumer experience of hedonic products, specifically as regards the wine sector is presented as the research object. Thus, data from consumers involved in such experiences, have translated into a set of information for future use as well as applicability of ideas for improving the business marketing in the academic context. Still, these data are intended to assist consumer decisions fanciers groups and seek to provide subsidies to understand how these factors impact the purchase decisions of consumers or fans of hedonic consumption goods. Thus, this thesis presents data from a netnographic analysis conducted on two virtual communities of Chilean wine brands with a significant number of fans. The data collected in this study were analyzed by the researcher and the results of this indicated the occurrence of several experiential dimensions in publications, comments, shares, and interactions of each publication originated in virtual communities dedicated to brands, as well as the interactive potential arising therefrom.
Diversas teorias sobre o comportamento de consumo apontam que as pessoas s?o impactadas por elementos experienciais no momento do consumo de determinado produto, servi?o ou conte?do. Os principais artigos sobre o tema salientam que essas experi?ncias podem ser classificadas atrav?s de dimens?es que possuem cunho afetivo, sensorial, cognitivo, de atividade e de identifica??o. Se por um lado o poder do "boca a boca" eletr?nico atrav?s das redes sociais tem papel significativo dentro do processo da experi?ncia de compra dos consumidores, por outro lado, a literatura apresenta resultados que apontam que marcas que desenvolvem v?nculos emocionais est?o mais propensas a possu?rem clientes fi?is. Por essa raz?o, entender de que forma as redes e comunidades virtuais de marca podem fornecer subs?dios para o aparecimento de uma ou mais dimens?es da experi?ncia de consumo foi o grande motivador para a condu??o do presente estudo. Analisar de que forma as redes e comunidades virtuais podem ser utilizadas na forma??o da experi?ncia dos consumidores de produtos hed?nicos, especificamente no caso do setor vitivin?cola apresenta-se como o objeto de pesquisa. Abstract:
Cryptosporidium species represent a genus of parasitic protozoa (Apicomplexa) that are transmitted via the faecal-oral route and commonly infect the epithelial tissues of the gastric or intestinal (or sometimes the respiratory) tract of many vertebrates, including humans. Infection occurs following the ingestion of viable and resistant oocysts, through direct host-to-host contact or in contaminated food, drinking or recreational water. Infection can be transmitted via anthroponotic (human-to-human, human-to-animal) or zoonotic (animal-to-human or animal-to-animal) pathways, depending upon the species of Cryptosporidium. Although infection can be asymptomatic, common symptoms of disease (cryptosporidiosis) include diarrhoea, colic (abdominal pain), nausea or vomiting, dehydration and/or fever. In humans, cryptosporidial infection in immunocompetent patients is usually short-lived (days to weeks) and eliminated following the stimulation of an effective immune response. However, infection in immunodeficient individuals (e.g., those with HIV/AIDS) can be chronic and fatal (in the absence of immunotherapy), as there are few effective anti-cryptosporidial drugs and no vaccines available. The present chapter provides an account of the history, taxonomy and biology, genomics and genetics of Cryptosporidium, the epidemiology, pathogenesis, treatment and control of cryptosporidiosis and the advances in tools for the identification and characterisation of Cryptosporidium species and the diagnosis of cryptosporidiosis.

This chapter reads Chloé Delaume’s J’habite dans la télévision [I Live in the Television] (2006), a novel that directly confronts the reader with the hegemony of commercial visual media in everyday life. Delaume takes as a starting point former TF1 CEO Patrick Le Lay’s assertion that television exists in order to ‘sell to Coca Cola…available human brain time.’ Delaume subjects herself to 22 months of constant television viewing, documenting—and attempting to resist—such effects upon her mind and body. By amplifying the everyday activity of television watching to the point of hyperbole, Delaume takes us from the ‘metanoia’ of having the polished world delivered to you on the screen, to the ‘paranoia’ and ‘dérive psychose géographique’ [drifting geographical psychosis] that results from television’s worst de-localizing and de-socializing effects. This chapter draws upon Paul Virilio’s media theory and Delaume’s own musings upon map and territory—which draw upon Deleuze and Guattari—to reveal the processes by which commercial visual media deprives its viewers of the cognitive distance vis-à-vis reality needed to forge existential territory. Delaume’s ludic novel goes to great lengths to restore this distance, and exposes the political and phallocratic regime behind television’s imposed logics in the process.

Milk is clean lacteal secretion from mammalians shortly after parturition. GM is taken as a complete meal in human diet. GM is the only milk from milching species that possess possibility of substituting human milk. Availability of A2 casein in GM make it comparable to human milk in terms of protein. The most vulnerable ones are infants, aged people and pregnant women as their immune system could answer at any time if extra supplement is not administered. In this case, GM is only option that is highly compatible and nutritious nourishing food naturally. It has been used in curing respiratory problems, diarrhoea, colic, gastrointestinal disturbances etc. Feeding GM enhances production of immunoglobulin, beneficial gut microbiota, phagocytosis activities. Presence of inherent antibodies suits GM for using it in curing Tuberculosis. It contains every needed nutrient in higher amount as compared to milk from other animals. Abstract:
Customer inputs in the early stages of design can potentially lead to completely new outlooks in concept generation. We propose crowd-based co-creation as a means to this end. Our main idea is to think of the customer as a source of initial design concepts rather than a means for obtaining preferences towards designer-generated concepts. For analyzing a large collection of customer-created prototypes, we develop a framework that focuses on generating hypotheses related to customer perception of design attributes. We demonstrate our approach through a web interface to gather design requirements for a computer mouse, a bicycle seat, a pen holder, and a cola bottle. This interface was used in a crowdsourcing study with 253 users who represented potential end users for these products. Results from this study show that web-based co-creation allows designers to capture a variety of form and function-related design requirements from user-created virtual prototypes. We also found that such studies can be instrumental in identifying innovative product concepts, and gaining insights about how user perception correlates with product form. Therefore, we make the case that customer creation through distributed co-creation platforms can reinforce concept exploration in future early design processes.
