Bu çalışmada, teknoloji kabul modeli ve teknoloji benimseme kategorizasyonu kullanılarak Türkiye'de kripto para birimi sahiplik eğilimlerinin anlaşılması amaçlanmıştır. 407 katılımcıdan toplanan veriler, veri madenciliği ve tanımlayıcı istatistiksel teknikler ile analiz edilmiştir. Performans beklentisi ve kolaylaştırıcı koşullar, kripto para birimi sahiplik kararını etkileyen en önemli değişkenlerdir. Üç farklı kripto para benimseme kategorisi belirlenmiştir. Koin-iyimserler, kripto para birimlerine hedeflerine ulaşmak için bir araç olarak yaklaşmaktadır. Kripto para birimleri hakkında bilgi edinen ve dağıtan öncülerdir. Gözlemciler, kripto para birimlerinde elde ettikleri bilgilere dayanarak hareket ederler. Kaygı ve bilgi düzeyi, kararlarını etkilemektedir. Koin-şüpheciler ise ekonomik kayıp ve daha geleneksel alternatierin kullanılabilirliği konusunda endişe nedeniyle kripto para birimi sahipleri değildir.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye coğrafyasında faaliyet gösteren örgüt çalışanlarında tükenmişlik ve iş tatmini arasındaki ilişkinin incelendiği çalışmaların toplam etkisini meta-analiz yöntemiyle belirlemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Ocak 2010 ve Aralık 2019 tarihleri arasında tükenmişlik ile iş tatmini ve tükenmişlik ile iş doyumu konularını ele alan tez ve makalelerden elde edilen veriler kullanılmıştır. Meta-Analiz çalışmasına tükenmişlik ve iş tatmini (iş doyumu) ilişkisini araştıran ve korelasyon verilerini kullanarak etki büyüklüğünü hesaplamak için gereken korelasyon (Pearson) katsayısı ve örneklem sayısı bulunan 72 çalışma sonucu dahil edilmiştir. Çalışma analizleri CMA 3.0 programı aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir. Yayın yanlılığı, Huni Grafiği, Begg ve Mazumdar Testi ve Hata Koruma Sayısı N istatistiği ile incelenmiştir. Etki büyüklükleri korelasyon verilerini kullanarak hesaplanmış, sonuçlar Cohen d etki büyüklüklerine göre yorumlanmıştır. Rassal etki modeli analiz sonuçlarına göre tükenmişlik ve iş tatmini arasındaki ilişki orta düzeydedir (EB= -0,457, p <0,005). Araştırmaya dahil edilen çalışmaların örneklem çeşidi, çalışma bölgesi ve çalışma yıl aralığı değişkenlerinin tükenmişlik ve iş tatmini ilişkisinde moderatör rolü bulunmamaktadır.

Çalışmada Tether, Binance ve USD Coin hariç Temmuz 2022 itibarıyla en yüksek piyasa kapitalizasyonuna sahip 17 para birimi kullanılmış ve 01.04.2019-14.07.2022 tarihleri arasında 59 farklı günde toplam 84 ayrı tweet incelenmiştir. Çalışma neticesinde Elon Musk’ın kripto varlıklar ile ilgili tweetlerinin kripto varlık piyasasında sürü davranışına neden olmadığı aksine pandemi harici diğer tüm dönemlerde ters sürü davranışına neden olduğuna dair bulgular elde edilmiştir.

Elektronik ticaret hacminin her geçen gün artmasıyla birlikte, çevrim içi müşteri yorumları hem müşterilerin satın alma kararı üzerinde etkili bir bilgi kaynağı hem de elektronik ticaret hizmet sağlayıcılarının önemli bir tutundurma aracı olarak geliştirilmeye değer bir pazarlama unsuru hâline gelmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı; elektronik ticaret çevrim içi müşteri yorumlarında ağırlık kazanan faktörleri ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma keşifsel bir çalışma olup Trendyol e-ticaret sitesinde en çok satılan ve en yüksek puan alan sekiz çeşit bluetooth kulaklık ve yedi çeşit güneş kremine dair yapılan en yüksek ve en düşük puanlı çevrim içi yorumları içerik analizi yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın iki araştırmacısı, Maxqda yazılımı aracılığıyla yorumlardan elde edilen 1082 kodu bağımsız bir şekilde değerlendirmiş olup, kodlayıcılar arasındaki Cohen Kappa güvenilirlik katsayısı %89 olarak hesaplamıştır. Değerlendirmelerde tekrar edilme sıklıklarına göre sırasıyla ürün kalitesi, satıcıya güven, kargo lojistiği, algılanan değer ve satış promosyonu olmak üzere beş adet ana kod elde edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; müşteri yorumlarında ürün kalitesi ağırlık kazanmakla birlikte, değerlendirmelerin %43’ü diğer faktörlere dayalı olarak yapılmıştır. Diğer faktörlerden, satıcıya güven olumsuz, kargo lojistiği ise olumlu yorumlarda ağırlık kazanmaktadır. Çalışma e-ticaret sitesi yöneticilerine ve site satıcılarına iyileştirme yapabilecekleri alanlarda öneriler sunmakta, elektronik ticaret yazınına katkılarda bulunmaktadır.

Elie-Paul Cohen est un médecin et un compositeur encore inconnu du grand public. Ses œuvres électroacoustiques sont construites autour d’un matériau sonore physiologique, issu de la captation des vibrations du corps humain. L’étude de ces pièces pose la question de la relation entre le corps et la musique, notion déjà abordée par les humanistes de la Renaissance. Il fait également partie d’un groupe de recherche médicale qui vient de mettre au point des modèles sonores de molécules d’ADN qu’il utilisera dans sa prochaine production musicale. Ces sons de provenance physiologique ont un impact énorme sur la perception que nous avons des sons mais également de la musique ; ceci nous a amené à nous interroger sur la notion même de musique, sur la perception que nous en avons. Une éventuelle universalité de la musique pourrait-elle reposer, depuis toujours, sur la modélisation sonores des vibrations corporelles ? Pour ce faire nos travaux ont abouti à une transversalité de disciplines telles que musique, musicologie, phénoménologie, neurosciences, physiques, recherche médicale de pointe ou biologie
Elie-Paul Cohen is a doctor and a composer who is relatively unknown by the general public. His electroacoustic works are built around a physiological sound material, resulting from the capturing of human body vibrations. The study of these works raises the question of the relationship between the body and music, a concept which was already being addressed by the Renaissance humanists. He is also part of a medical research group which has developed sound patterns of DNA molecules that he will use in his next musical production. These physiological sounds have a huge impact on our perception of sounds but also of music; this led us to question the very notion of music and the perception we have of it. Could a universal music based on the sound modeling body vibrations exist? This led our work to result in a cross-disciplinary approach including the fields of music, musicology, phenomenology, neuroscience, physics, medical research or advanced biology

En Chile, la cuestión de la ‘puerta giratoria’ - entendida como el flujo de personal entre altos cargos políticos y empresariales - ha sido objeto de escasa atención pública y académica, no obstante conlleva enormes externalidades para el funcionamiento de las instituciones democráticas y las condiciones de competencia en el mercado. A partir de los debates planteados por los teóricos de la sociología de las élites, el presente estudio buscó indagar en la magnitud y las principales características del tránsito de personal desde las altas posiciones políticas a los cargos directivos en grandes empresas. Se construyó una muestra aleatoria simple a partir del universo conformado por los cargos directivos de las empresas de mayor tamaño con información pública disponible hacia el año 2013. La producción de información se llevó a cabo a partir de la metodología de revisión documental, y se aplicaron procedimientos de análisis estadístico univariados y bivariados. Los resultados muestran que, en comparación a otros países, la incorporación de directores con trayectoria política (DTP) es un fenómeno muy extendido en las grandes empresas chilenas, y que la trayectoria política se asocia con características como la presencia en múltiples directorios, en múltiples actividades económicas, y en industrias altamente reguladas y competitivas (sector financiero). Asimismo, los resultados dan cuenta de que la mayor parte de los DTP ocuparon cargos políticos no electos en el marco de gobiernos de derecha. En suma, se sugiere que esta modalidad de vinculación inter-elitaria se sustenta en la valoración del capital político que los directores aportan a las empresas. Asimismo, cuestionan la visión de que el Estado y los empresarios se han constituido como agentes autónomos en las últimas décadas. Por último, muestran que la expansión de la racionalidad tecnocrática conlleva la emergencia de nuevos mecanismos selectivos para incidir en la esfera política

A nivel teórico se hizo una revisión y comparación de los conceptos de Experiencia Cumbre, Rendimiento Cumbre y "Flow", encontrando que el "Flow" es un fenómeno complejo y multidimensional que puede incluir algunas características tanto de la Experiencia Cumbre, así como del Rendimiento Cumbre. Se propone un modelo hipotético sobre las interrelaciones de las dimensiones del "Flow". Debido al retraso que existe en la investigación del "Flow" en atletas y deportistas hispanos, y a la escasez de antecedentes, se realizó un trabajo de carácter exploratorio, con un diseño que integra métodos cuantitativos y cualitativos. Se evaluó la motivación, orientación a la meta y habilidad percibida a una muestra de 10 nadadores de elite. También se midieron los estados de "Flow", ansiedad, y emocional, relacionados con sus mejores y peores experiencias de rendimiento. Además, se hizo una entrevista individual semiestructurada para profundizar en la experiencia de las dimensiones de "Flow" durante las mejores y peores experiencias de rendimiento. Los resultados indican que la muestra presentaba una mayor motivación intrínseca que extrínseca (p< ,001), mayor orientación a la tarea que al ego (p< ,03) y una alta habilidad percibida. También se encontró que durante las mejores experiencias de rendimiento se presentaban mayores puntajes de casi todas las dimensiones de "Flow" y de las emociones de tono positivo, pero menores puntajes en ansiedad, con diferencias estadísticamente significativas. En cuanto a los resultados del análisis de contenido de los relatos sobre las mejores y las peores experiencias de rendimiento, éstos mostraron que son radicalmente diferentes, los relatos de las mejores experiencias de rendimiento contienen más referencias sobre las dimensiones de "flow", mientras que los relatos de las peores experiencias de rendimiento presentan menos referencias sobre las dimensiones de "flow", pero la mayoría lo hace en sentido negativo. Estos resultados confirmaron las hipótesis planteadas. El análisis del discurso de los nadadores durante su peor experiencia de rendimiento, también mostró una relación entre el "flow" y el sufrimiento que no se esperaba, y que sugirió un modelo hipotético que relaciona al "flow" y el sufrimiento con la calidad del rendimiento logrado. Se discuten las limitaciones del trabajo, y los resultados del estudio se consideran como preliminares, y con la necesidad de ser confirmarlos con muestras mayores, también se proponen otras líneas de investigación para estudiar el fenómeno de "flow" durante el rendimiento deportivo.

A theoretical review and comparison of the concepts of Peak Experience, Peak Performance and Flow were done, finding that Flow is a complex ant multidimensional phenomenon that could include some of the characteristics of both, Peak Experience as well as Peak Performance. It is proposed a theoretical model on flow dimension's relationship. Due the delaying in researching Hispanic athletes flow experience and lack of antecedents, an exploratory study was conduced utilizing a design that integrates qualitative and quantitative methods. Motivation, goal orientation and perceived ability were assessing in a sample of ten elite swimmers. Also, flow state, anxiety, and emotional state related with best and worst performance experience were assessed. Furthermore, in order to deep inquire about experiencing flow dimensions during best and worst performance experience, an individual, semi-structured interview was done. Sample results show that participant's intrinsic motivation scores were higher than extrinsic motivation scores (p< .001), they had higher scores of task orientation than ego orientation (p< ,03), and high scores of perceived ability, too. During best performance experience, participants presented higher levels of almost all flow dimensions and positive tone emotions, but lower scores in anxiety, with statically meaning differences. Qualitative results of content analysis of best and worst performance experience discourses, made known that they are completely different, while discourses of best performance experience contain more references about flow dimensions and its positive effect on performance, discourses of worst performance experience contain fewer references on flow dimensions, but most of them were negative. These results confirm the hypothesis proposed. Discourse analysis of worst performance experience showed a relationship between flow and suffering that was not expected, and that suggested a hypothetical model that relates flow and suffering with performance quality reached. Limitations of the research was done, and results are considered as preliminaries, and needed to be confirmed with wider samples, also another research lines are proposed, to further research in order to research flow experience during performance in Hispanic athletes and sport participants.

Il metodo variazionale è uno schema computazionale che permette il calcolo approssimato dell’energia e della funzione d’onda dello stato fondamentale di una grande varietà di sistemi quantistici che compaiono in fisica molecolare, atomica e nucleare. In questa tesi vengono illustrati il metodo variazionale e le sue modalità di implementazione. Vengono poi descritte diverse applicazioni: lo studio di alcuni sistemi atomici, quali l’atomo di idrogeno, di elio e l’atomo muonico, e del deutone, per ricavarne un’approssimazione dell’autovalore di energia dello stato fondamentale; si studia infine l’interazione tra nucleoni per stimare il raggio d’azione del potenziale di Yukawa e le condizioni per l’esistenza di stati legati.

Esta investigación estudia la articulación del pensamiento y la actuación de profesores de ELE en aspectos referidos al desarrollo de la competencia intercultural. Con una metodología cualitativa, que usa técnicas de la etnografía y del análisis del discurso, se analizan los datos estableciendo un contraste entre las declaraciones de cuatro docentes y su posicionamiento respecto a la competencia intercultural, sus actuaciones en el aula y las propuestas curriculares para promover dicha competencia. Los resultados revelan que existen visiones y actuaciones diversas en relación con la competencia intercultural que van desde una concepción declarativa de cultura hasta una visión etnográfica e interpretativa de la misma. El pensamiento de los docentes se articula a partir de dos polos de un continuum: en un extremo está la concepción de cultura como una sucesión de saberes, que asume el constructo hablante nativo como objetivo a alcanzar. En el otro, la cultura aparece como un componente unitario que permite crear —a través de la interacción, la reflexión y la comprensión— una conciencia y un espacio intermedio en el que los aprendices desarrollen su pensamiento y su personalidad como hablantes interculturales.
This PhD dissertation is about the thinking and the actions of teachers of Spanish as foreign language (ELE) with regards to the development of intercultural competence. Data are analysed by means of a qualitative methodology, which uses techniques from ethnography and discourse analysis. Specifically, the researcher analyses four teachers’ verbal statements and their teaching activity to promote intercultural competence, both in their classrooms and in their curricular proposals. The results show that there are diverse views and actions, ranging from a declarative conception of culture to an ethnographic and interpretative one. The teachers’ thinking is indeed articulated along a continuum. On the one side, culture is a series of know-hows that considers the native speaker’s competence as a goal. On the other, culture is a unified component which —through interaction, reflection, and comprehension— creates an awareness and an in-between space where the learners develop their own thought and personality as intercultural speakers.

En l’aprenentatge de llengües estrangeres, l’entonació llança un desafiament particular als estudiants (i als docents). El present treball dóna compte de la producció i percepció de l’entonació de l’espanyol per part dels sinoparlants: en particular, dels patrons entonatius prototípics de la declarativa neutra, la interrogativa absoluta neutra i la declarativa amb focus estret. Mitjançant l’aplicació de la metodologia experimental en els àmbits de la producció (anàlisi acústica) i la percepció (experiment de discriminació), s’identifiquen i analitzen les dificultats mostrades per aquest col·lectiu d’aprenents, amb la finalitat última de contribuir a la millora de l’procés ensenyament-aprenentatge de l’entonació d’ELE. Per a un millor enteniment sobre el context en què els sinoparlants aprenen l’entonació de l’espanyol com a llengua estrangera, aquest treball porta a terme primer un estudi contrastiu de sistema entonatiu entre l’espanyol i el xinès, que, com és ben sabut, són llengües tipològicament diferents. L’entonació consisteix en un fenomen suprasegmental rellevant que es pot trobar tant en espanyol com en xinès, i amb funcions lingüístiques comparables; la diferència principal entre les dues llengües rau en la realització fonètica de l’entonació. Mentre que l’entonació de l’espanyol pot observar-se de manera directa mitjançant el canvi de F0, en xinès, cal recórrer a el canvi de el rang tonal per donar compte de el moviment entonatiu. Al llarg d’aquest estudi, la descripció fonològica i fonètica de l’entonació es basa en el Model Autosegmental-Mètric (Pierrehumbert, 1980; Ladd, 2008). Per a cada un dels patrons entonatius (declarativa neutra, interrogativa absoluta neutra i declarativa amb focus estret), es realitza un experiment de producció i un altre de percepció. Cal subratllar que els resultats obtinguts s’analitzen des de diversos punts de vista: 1) per mitjà d’establir comparacions dels resultats entre nadius i estudiants, s’aconsegueix localitzar i caracteritzar els punts febles i forts que presenten els estudiants, de manera que s’ofereix un panorama del seu aprenentatge de l’entonació de l’espanyol; 2) la col·laboració d’estudiants amb diferents nivells d’ELE permet observar els possibles avenços en el domini de l’entonació amb el desenvolupament de la competència general de la llengua meta; 3) al mateix temps que s’avaluen respectivament la competència d’expressió oral i la de comprensió auditiva, es combinen els resultats de tots dos aspectes per discutir si les dificultats existeixen simètricament en la producció i en la percepció; 4) es contrasta els resultats respectius de les dues dimensions fonològica i fonètica de l’entonació, per tal d’explorar si els detalls de la implementació fonètica del contorn melòdic s’adquireix de manera paral·lela als patrons fonològics categòrics. A partir dels resultats d’investigació, reflexionem sobre els factors que incideixen en l’aprenentatge de l’entonació d’ELE en contextos sinoparlants. Proposem que la distància lingüística entre la llengua materna i la llengua meta consisteix en un factor intern que condiciona fonamentalment el procés d’aprenentatge i adquisició, mentre que la didàctica que reben els estudiants, encara que representa un factor extern, deixa influències més directes.
En el aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras, la entonación lanza un desafío particular a los estudiantes (y a los docentes). El presente trabajo da cuenta de la producción y percepción de la entonación del español por parte de los sinohablantes: en particular, de los patrones entonativos prototípicos de la declarativa neutra, la interrogativa absoluta neutra y la declarativa con foco estrecho. Mediante la aplicación de la metodología experimental en los ámbitos de la producción (análisis acústico) y la percepción (experimento de discriminación), se identifican y analizan las dificultades mostradas por este colectivo de aprendices, con el fin último de contribuir a la mejora del proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje de la entonación de ELE. Para un mejor entendimiento sobre el contexto en que los sinohablantes aprenden la entonación del español como lengua extranjera, este trabajo lleva a cabo primero un estudio contrastivo del sistema entonativo entre el español y el chino, que, como es bien sabido, son lenguas tipológicamente diferentes. La entonación consiste en un fenómeno suprasegmental relevante que se puede encontrar tanto en español como en chino, y con funciones lingüísticas comparables; la diferencia principal entre las dos lenguas radica en la realización fonética de la entonación. Mientras que la entonación del español puede observarse de modo directo mediante el cambio de F0, en chino, hace falta recurrir al cambio del rango tonal para dar cuenta del movimiento entonativo. A lo largo de este estudio, la descripción fonológica y fonética de la entonación se basa en el Modelo Autosegmental-Métrico (Pierrehumbert, 1980; Ladd, 2008). Para cada uno de los patrones entonativos (declarativa neutra, interrogativa absoluta neutra y declarativa con foco estrecho), se realiza un experimento de producción y otro de percepción. Cabe subrayar que los resultados obtenidos se analizan desde varios puntos de vista: 1) por medio de establecer comparaciones de los resultados entre nativos y estudiantes, se consigue localizar y caracterizar los puntos débiles y fuertes que presentan los estudiantes, de forma que se ofrece un panorama de su aprendizaje de la entonación del español; 2) la colaboración de estudiantes con distintos niveles de ELE permite observar los posibles avances en el dominio de la entonación con el desarrollo de la competencia general de la lengua meta; 3) al mismo tiempo que se evalúan respectivamente la competencia de expresión oral y la de comprensión auditiva, se combinan los resultados de ambos aspectos para discutir si las dificultades existen simétricamente en la producción y en la percepción; 4) se contrasta los resultados respectivos de las dos dimensiones fonológica y fonética de la entonación, a fin de explorar si los detalles de la implementación fonética del contorno melódico se adquiere de modo paralelo a los patrones fonológicos categóricos. A partir de los resultados de investigación, reflexionamos sobre los factores que inciden en el aprendizaje de la entonación de ELE en contextos sinohablantes. Proponemos que la distancia lingüística entre la lengua materna y la lengua meta consiste en un factor interno que condiciona fundamentalmente el proceso de aprendizaje y adquisición, mientras que la didáctica que reciben los estudiantes, aunque representa un factor externo, deja influencias más directas.
In foreign language learning, intonation poses a particular challenge for learners (and teachers). The present work takes into account the production and perception of Spanish intonation by Chinese native speakers: in particular, of the prototypical intonation patterns of neutral declarative, neutral absolute interrogative and declarative with narrow focus. By applying the experimental methodology in the fields of production (acoustic analysis) and perception (discrimination experiment), this study aims to identify and analyze the difficulties shown by this group of learners, with the ultimate purpose of improving the teaching-learning process of ELE intonation. To get a better understanding of the context in which Chinese speakers learn Spanish intonation, this work first carries out a contrastive study of intonation system between Spanish and Chinese, which, as is well known, are typologically different languages. Intonation consists of a relevant suprasegmental feature that can be found, with comparable linguistic functions, in both Spanish and Chinese; yet the main difference between these two languages lies in the phonetic realization of intonation. While the Spanish intonation can be observed directly by the change of F0, in Chinese, it is necessary to resort to the pitch range alteration to account for the intonational movement. Throughout this study, the phonological and phonetic description of intonation is based on the Autosegmental-Metric Theory (Pierrehumbert, 1980; Ladd, 2008). For each of the intonation patterns (the neutral declarative, the neutral absolute interrogative and the declarative with narrow focus), a production experiment and a perception experiment are carried out. It is worth highlighting that the results obtained are analyzed from various points of view: 1) by establishing comparisons between native speakers’ and students’ results, it is possible to locate and characterize the weak and strong points that the students present, so as to provide an overview about their Spanish intonation learning; 2) the collaboration of Chinese learners with different proficiency levels of ELE allows to observe the possible advances in intonation acquisition with the development of general proficiency of the target language; 3) while oral expression and listening comprehension competence are evaluated respectively, results from both aspects are combined in order to discuss whether difficulties exist symmetrically in production and perception; 4) the study also compares the results regarding the phonological and phonetic dimensions of intonation, to explore whether phonetic implementation details of melodic contour are acquired in parallel with categorical phonological patterns. Based on the research results, we reflect further on the factors that may influence the learning of ELE intonation in Chinese learners’ context. We propose that linguistic distance between the native language and the target language consists of an internal factor that fundamentally determines the learning and acquisition process, while the didactic instructions that students receive, although it represents an external factor, leaves more direct influences.

The aim of this study was to understand students’ attitudes towards the use of ICT and how it is being used in Spanish as a foreign language. We also wanted to know what kind of ICT activities are being used and what the students’ thoughts are about those. Are the activities with ICT helping the students develop their communicating skills? One of the questions in this study was also whether the students prefer the usage of ICT in the classroom over a traditional classroom (without ICT). The study was conducted through surveys at a secondary school in southern Sweden. The results demonstrated that the students are positive towards the use of ICT even though it is not often used in during their Spanish lessons. Our study also demonstrated that the most used ICT activity to promote communication is emailing, as well as direct messages, usually towards the teacher. Videoconferences or collaborations with students at other schools or individuals across the Internet almost never occurs and the last thing that this study demonstrated is that even though the students are very positive towards the usage of ICT, there are negative sides to it. The technology could be distracting and could also create physical problems such as headaches. Our conclusion is that the students need variety when it comes to using ICT when learning Spanish as a foreign language, because according to the students themselves this is how they get the most out of their education.

El objetivo de la presente investigación es el de aproximarse al potencial que el género de hiperficción explorativa Elige tu propia aventura (ETPA), abordado desde la producción, puede tener de cara al desarrollo de la competencia escritora en ELE. Como muestra, se ha tomado a un grupo multicultural y plurilingüe de 18 estudiantes de la Universidad de Estocolmo, con una competencia comunicativa mínima en español de B2 marco. Se ha llevado a cabo un análisis cualitativo-cuantitativo que, de forma correlativa, abarcaba el estudio del proceso de composición, del producto alcanzado y del impacto de la tarea sobre el componente afectivo de los participantes. La investigación asignó al grupo de control, la composición cooperativa de un cuento tradicional a través de una wiki, y al experimental, la de un ETPA; todo ello en base a una hipotética oposición entre un ejercicio compositivo lineal y uno de tipo recursivo, respectivamente. Los resultados parecen sugerir que, efectivamente, la estructura no secuencial de la ficción hipertextual propicia un proceso de composición marcado por la recursividad que repercute en la consecución de un mejor producto, en especial, con relación a las propiedades textuales de adecuación, coherencia y cohesión. En lo afectivo, la composición de un ETPA también parece constituir una actividad que, por su novedad, incide positivamente en la motivación de los aprendientes y en un sentimiento de autoeficiencia generado por la resolución exitosa de la tarea.
The purpose of this research is to uncover the potential that lies within the explorative genre of hyperfiction entitled Choose Your Own Adventure (CYOA), approached from the student’s final production, and its significance for the development of writing competency in Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE). As our target sample population, we have chosen a multicultural and plurilingual group of 18 students from the University of Stockholm, all of whom have acquired at least a B2 level of the Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR) in communicative competence. This study has carried out qualitative-quantitative research that, in a correlative manner, encompasses the study of the writing process, the final written product, and the impact of the task over the affective component of every participant. The project required the control group to create a cooperative composition of a fairy tale by means of a wiki, and the experimental group to CYOA; all of which was based on the hypothetical opposition between a lineal compositional exercise and a recursive one. Results indicate that the non-sequential structure of hypertextual fiction leads to a recursive writing process. Consequentially, this has an impact on the creation of a better product, especially when related to textual properties of adaptation, coherence and cohesion. Within the affective sphere, the composition of a CYOA could constitute an activity that, due to its novelty, has a positive effect on the learner’s motivation and on his or her sense of self-efficacy generated by the successful resolution of the task.

El propósito de este estudio es investigar las actitudes lingüísticas de tres grupos de profesores procedentes de España, Suecia y América Latina, hacia las variedades lingüísticas del español en la enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera (ELE) en Suecia.Los resultados, basados en un cuestionario con un grupo de informantes relativamente limitado, muestran que una clara mayoría opina que se debe enseñar tanto el español de Europa y de América Latina. Ninguno de los informantes tiene preferencia hacia el español de América Latina, mientras que una minoría considerable se inclina por un español de España. Esta actitud positiva hacia la variedad peninsular es más marcada entre profesores de origen español y entre los profesores que enseñan en el nivel primario en las escuelas suecas.En el cuestionario también se ha comparado la incorporación de aspectos gramaticales, lexicales y fonológicos. Se ha considerado que el grupo de informantes no es suficiente amplio como para poder generalizar los resultados.
The purpose of this study is to investigate three groups of teachers from Spain, Sweden and Latin America regarding their attitudes towards the varieties of Spanish in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language (ELE) in Sweden.The results, based on a questionnaire with a relatively limited group of informants, show that a big majority of informants believe that both the Spanish of Spain and Latin American Spanish should be taught. None of the informants had the preference for teaching Latin American Spanish, while a considerable minority was inclined towards Spanish from Spain. This positive attitude towards the peninsular variety is more recognized among teachers of Spanish origin and among the teachers who teaches at the primary school level in Sweden.Grammatical, lexical and phonological aspects have also been compared in the questionnaire but the number of informants in each group was too small for the results to be generalized.

Debido al cambio de modo de estudio que ha generado el COVID-19, este estudio se centra en analizar el uso de material auténtico, es decir, el empleo de textos periodísticos en la motivación de alumnos de ELE en un bachillerato con educación a distancia en Suecia. Así pues, el objetivo de esta investigación es identificar los temas que causan mayor interés en los alumnos, mostrar cómo influyen los artículos periodísticos en la motivación de estos al usarlos con mayor frecuencia y, finalmente, exponer el efecto que los textos periodísticos en la motivación de la clase de ELE en un bachillerato en Suecia. La elección de este tema se dio por la escasez de estudios que hay que relacionen los aspectos motivacionales y los estudios a distancia en alumnos de bachillerato en Suecia. Este trabajo es de naturaleza cualitativo, aplicando el método de entrevistas abiertas a 10 participantes que estudiaron español como una LE en clases presenciales durante un mes y que luego pasaron a clases a distancia. Los resultados indican que los alumnos sienten la necesidad del uso de un material efectivo que los mantengan interesados en el aprendizaje de ELE acorde con sus niveles lingüísticos.
Due to the change in the way of studying that COVID-19 has generated, this study focuses on analyzing the use of authentic material, that is, the use of journalistic texts in the motivation of SFL students in a high school with distance education in Sweden. Thus, the objective of this research is to identify the topics that cause the greatest interest in students, show how journalistic articles influence their motivation by using them more frequently and, finally, expose the effect that journalistic texts have on the motivation of a SFL class in a high school in Sweden. The choice of this topic was given by the scarcity of studies that relate the motivational aspects and distance studies in high school students in Sweden. This study is qualitative in nature, applying the open-ended interview method to 10 participants who studied Spanish as a FL in physical classes for a month and then went on to distance classes. The results indicate that students feel the need to use effective material that keeps them interested in learning SFL according to their linguistic levels.

Between the 1950’s and the 1970’s, Italian university students’ population grew up to mass levels, and passed from less than 250,000 to over one million. The University of Florence even faced higher growth rates, and problems related to students’ welfare and services rapidly arose. Local university institutions, and even the educational culture of faculty members, still focused on the traditional model of elite university studies of the early Twentieth century, were barely suitable to face the new social dimension of higher education, while Italian national government failed in implementing a convincing overall educational reform. Tensions finally exploded with students’ movements of Sessantotto and Settantasette.

ll seguente articolo si focalizza sull’opera Uomini e no di Elio Vittorini (Bompiani, 1945), ambientata nella città di Milano negli anni della Resistenza. Il motivo indagato è il ruolo della morte violenta e la conseguente ricerca del suo significato in un contesto caotico in cui è difficile decifrare un ordine, un senso. Attorno alle morti violente, che nel romanzo raggiungono l’apice con l’ultimo estremo suicidio-omicidio del protagonista, si installano ampi scenari interpretativi lasciati alle parole dei personaggi, ma anche dubbi e domande sul senso della vita, sul valore della felicità, sulla resistenza e sul suo dopo. La parola chiave che scaturisce dalla morte è liberazione, non solo sul piano della Storia, ma anche nel suo aspetto esistenziale e intimo, non solo per una città libera, ma per un mondo intero libero per sempre.

Abstract This chapter reviews the use of coinage by Iron Age peoples in non-Mediterranean Europe, drawing on data from excavations, metal detecting, and scientific studies. Introduced around 300 BC, precious metal coinages soon spread across Celtic Europe, ultimately reaching Britain. Bronze was used increasingly widely from the second century BC. Following consideration of current explanations for the adoption of Iron Age coinage, its evolving functions are explored though contextual studies of coin finds from archaeological sites. Analysis suggests that many coin deposits had a ritual significance and that Iron Age coins were used primarily to fulfil elite social and political obligations; wider monetization did not occur until the Roman conquest. During the early centuries AD, Roman coins found their way to groups beyond the frontiers who had hitherto resisted the concept; but here too coin use was confined to the elite and military spheres.

Abstract Although the Confederacy was often accused of enlisting males “from cradle to grave,” its leaders in fact expressed great anxiety about the dangers of youth enlistment. These fears had their origins in the antebellum era, when the slaveholding elite observed the free states’ rapid population growth with alarm, while also worrying about potentially being outnumbered by the African Americans they enslaved. These deep-seated demographic fears alerted Confederate leaders to the dangers of “grinding the seed corn”—sacrificing the generation that would need to build and sustain the new nation after the war. Even when the Confederate Congress lowered the conscription age by one year in 1864, it stipulated that seventeen-year-olds would serve in separate reserve units, not the regular army. Viewing youth as a scarce resource to be conserved, the Confederate leadership never accepted the militarization of underage boys as the price they would have to pay for independence.

This chapter summarizes the main argument of the book and then telescopes out to examine how the two cases of prophetic redemption fit within the broader landscape of contemporary changes in civic activism among the formerly incarcerated. It argues that some are resistant to accept the fact that formerly incarcerated people can engage in civic and political action as a form of social integration. However, it also argues that neoliberal, elite actors are attempting to interpellate formerly incarcerated activists’ efforts for nefarious purposes. Performance sports and sedentary lifestyle are two sides of the same coin. Conditioned by determination and work, achieving performance is much facilitated by the emergence and continuous improvement of electronic devices: simulators, software for the fine and detailed analysis of technical aspects, applications for data management and the prediction of competitive performances, etc. On the other hand, ordinary population not involved in sports activity is more or less sedentary. Paradoxically, the emergence of sedentary lifestyle has become possible just because of technological modernization. The world we live in provides fewer and fewer opportunities to practice physical activity, and the more the daily living is facilitated by modern technology, the more it becomes the source of various physical and mental health problems. At the same time, decreasing the level of physical exercise is, among others, a consequence of the sedentary content of many forms of recreation, because the main entertaining activity is closely related to the computer keyboard or, more recently, that of cell phone. This paper focuses on the latest electronic game, Pokémon Go, which no longer sticks the practitioners in front of the computer, but gets them out of their houses and forces them to travel by walking, running, or even alternately, in full consonance with the message of World Health Organization, which urges us to consume 300 calories daily through movement. Our study tries to determine whether the release of the new game is just a financial boom or, on the contrary, an attempt to avoid sedentary lifestyle, combining the fascination of the game with the need for movement. Conclusions are based on the analysis of responses to a questionnaire addressed to a heterogeneous sample of players.

Important changes are anticipated as digital technologies impact the traditional world of education. Textile design education meets the requirements of the textile industry and brings the student closer to experimenting with new technologies. There is not an area of our world unaffected by the advances in textile research. Principles of textile science and technology merge with other research fields such as engineering, chemistry, biotechnology and information science. This paper follows a set of pro/con arguments for the use of new technologies/software in textile design education. The present paper does not emphasize the contrast between old and new solutions but rather challenges the degree of adaptation of new technologies both to the requirements of the industry, for a sustainable future and the need to develop the creativity of new generation of designers. To exemplify the arguments we turn to our teaching and research activity. Working with students to design projects for a new generation of digital textile printers led us to conclusions that aim to establish the relevance of these technologies in textile design education. In teaching textile design we often combine modern techniques of printing and weaving with ancient methods and emphasize the wide array of environmental friendly techniques. The experience gained in textile design education and the use of new digital printing technologies/software in particular determined us to change our view over the possibilities the field offered until not too long ago. Textile design is the research field that could reach at an industrial scale the standards for a sustainable future.

Teaching a foreign language to engineering students often poses an inherent challenge: bridging the gap between a mindset defined by technical skills to a mindset that becomes conversant with soft skills. A learner centred approach to language teaching provides the opportunity of training many of the key soft skills required on the work market: leadership (decision making), teamwork (peer interaction), communication skill (adapting style to audience), problem solving skills (info gap activities), work ethic (pro/con), flexibility/adaptability, interpersonal skills (language functions). As far as the student is concerned, the skill of delivering a power point based oral presentation that features the mandatory task of including any sort of visual aid (graph, flow chart, table etc.) presentation is an extremely useful object for acquiring communication skills due to its transferrable value. As far as the teacher is concerned, the repetitive edge of a teacher's activity offers the possibility of juggling with a range of approaches to teaching the graph presentation skill and make place for improvement. Nevertheless, repetition in a teacher's current work is a double edged challenge. On the one side, it is an accepted part of the mechanism of routine development, a state which pertains to the very process of attaining professional excellence. On the other hand, after attaining a certain plateau level in the outcome of repeated behavior, materials or methodology, the challenge comes from the need of a breakthrough: faster, deeper, more relevant. Although there is no universal recipe for achieving a breakthrough, one of the conditions that may lead to it is the ability of re-structuring, concept usefully developed by Michael Polanyi. This capacity building workshop is meant to explore some of the stages one might face in this attempt of restructuring. The case in point is the experience of teaching the skills needed in visual/electronic aid supported oral presentations to e-profile (electric/electronic/power) engineering students from the Bucharest Polytechnic School.

In previous papers, the STAT-HAND (Statistical Analysis for Hand) original software was developed and a case study of practical use was presented for the fabrics’ hand evaluation by means of blind tactile sensory feeling. STAT-HAND is an interactive ICT-based learning tool that helps students acting as evaluators during the laboratory activities performed within the course "Systems and Equipment for the Textile Products' Quality Assurance", from the master curriculum delivered at the Faculty of Textile, Leather and Industrial Management – Iasi. However, without minimizing the related issues of the fabrics' subjective evaluation and the importance of the panel with experts, textile students (regardless of the specialty and the study year) must be able to make connections between the product design and the sensory comfort expected for a specified end use. Therefore, for the discipline "Quality assurance in weaving”, the students from the fourth year of study have to develop strategies for the quality control of fabrics according to a specified destination, paying attention to the selection of the specific measuring processes for the objective evaluation of fabrics. In this context, it is also considered useful for teaching students about the primary handle attributes and the subjective evaluation of fabrics hand, with the support of the STAT-HAND software. Subsequently to the fabric hand evaluation, a statistical analysis was required to prove the reliability of the students’ panel and the connection between the subjective and the objective evaluations they carried out. Therefore, for the next stage regarding the topics of subjective and objective evaluation, it was necessary to develop STAT-ConCor (Statistical Analysis for Concordance and Correlation). This software includes two facilities developed in accordance with two algorithms for calculating the Kendall and Spearman coefficients. STAT-Con uses Kendall’s coefficient of concordance calculation as a measure of emphasizing the agreement/disagreement among evaluators within the panel. STAT-Cor uses Spearman’s coefficient of correlation calculation as a measure of emphasizing the level of correlation between the subjective and objective evaluation.

Abstract:
The concept of commitment at the workplace is one of the concepts raising a wide interest in the field of the human resource management and organisational management. This interest is proven by the evolution the concept has seen in over half a century, starting with Becker (1960) - the one-side-bet theory, Porter (1974) – the affective dependence theory, O'Reilly and Chatman (1986), Meyer and Allen (1984, 1990) - the multidimensional period, and ending with Cohen (2007) - the bidimensional model, and Somers (2009) – a combined theory, each of them making a contribution to the way the term of organisational commitment is known and interpreted nowadays. Practice proves that certain people are dedicated to the workplace, because they do what they love or because their career objectives are similar to those of the organisation. Others show their fear of leaving a “safe” workplace or are afraid they cannot find a better one. This type of behaviour can have negative effects both on the person’s wellbeing, self-respect or professional satisfaction and on the institution where the person works. Or, the organisational commitment is precisely what makes the difference and a decisive impact on obtaining performance and on how people act at the workplace. Employees are usually energetic, motivated, and positive immediately after employment in a company or organisation. A Leader/Manager is not only interested in finding the Company commitment level at a certain point in time, but also to act in order to keep that same level and to even grow it, to know the employees, their characteristics (their needs and wishes, and what is important for them). It is only this way that commitment can make a strong impact on the success of an organisation, since devoted employees identify themselves with the company purpose and values, have a strong desire to belong to the organisation, a desire to go over and beyond the responsibilities required by the job. Furthermore, if the human resources are an organisation’s best asset, then devoted human resources should be regarded as competitive advantages of the company. This study has an exploratory character, aiming at determining the extent to which employees show commitment or nu to the organisation they are a part of, as well as at identifying the determining vectors for this behaviour. The study participants are the result of a non-probabilistic sampling, based on availability criteria. The sample includes employees of private organizations (small, medium, and large enterprises), holding various positions (entry level, expert, management, top management). The data were collected via a self-administered online questionnaire. The study analyses the commitment related to other elements specific for the organisational flow, providing managers with useful reference-marks in building an organisational climate sustaining performance and supporting the employees’ work satisfaction increase.

El objeto de investigación de este artículo es exponer la potencialidad de los textos literarios en la enseñanza-aprendizaje de ELE, como una posibilidad factible de desarrollar y perfeccionar las destrezas lingüísticas y comunicativas. El objetivo central no es traer respuestas; sino, proponer reflexiones y, de igual modo, evidenciar la viabilidad del uso de la literatura en las clases de español. Para este propósito, se ha afianzado a algunos exponentes: FILLOLA, Mendoza (2020); ALBADALEJO, García (2007); CASSANY, Daniel (2006); SÁEZ, Begoña (2011); y IBARRA Y BALLESTER (2019), en cuyas bases se ha anclado para la investigación; y así aclarar, como los textos literarios pueden auxiliar a los profesores a impartir las clases de ELE, utilizando estos materiales para desarrollar las destrezas comunicativas y, de hecho, perfeccionarlas en las clases. Con este propósito, se ha elegido las expresiones: oral, lectora y escrita, para la realización de las actividades. Como aporte para los trabajos, se ha optado por el género narrativo, cuento, por la diversidad que se nos permite para las realizaciones de las actividades; porque, a la vez, favorece y amplia los diálogos, en aula, por su rico aporte lingüístico y literario. Para eso, se hay elegido el cuento: “La muñeca menor”, de Rosario Ferré. Para esta finalidad, ha sido desarrollado una propuesta didáctica para demostrar el trabajo con el texto literario. Siendo así, fue desarrollado algunas actividades, utilizando el texto literario, para evidenciar que es posible utilizarlos en las clases de ELE, para estimular y favorecer el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de los sujetos involucrados: profesores y alumnos, proporcionándoles, simultáneamente: la interacción e interrelación con el texto literario, de modo a acercar el aprendiz de ELE, español, de manera efectiva y consciente al texto literario.

Les personnages de l’écrivain algérien Rachid Boudjedra ne prennent pas la mer. Dans ses romans, la mer est citée en tant que frontière ; les fleuves sont des tombeaux à ciel ouvert où s’entassent les cadavres des résistants au colonisateur. Mais, La Macération, roman publié en 1984, met en scène un univers aquatique où écrire est faire acte de désir, où l’écriture est à la fois sexuelle et mystique car l’eau est encre et l’encre féconde la page blanche comme l’eau féconde la terre et l’homme féconde la femme. Parle avec elle : Marco est dans une chambre d’hôpital, il y veille Lydia qui semble dormir pour ne plus se réveiller. Plan rapproché, zoom sur les yeux grand ouverts de Marco. Ce dernier fait un rêve, où l’amante est vivante. Mais surtout, dans ce rêve, il y a un homme : beau et sculptural qui traverse une piscine à la nage. Pourquoi ce rêve ? Comment s’est fait le passage entre les gouttes du médicament se déversant dans le corps de « la belle endormie » à cette eau belle, bleue et translucide ? Comment Lydia a-t-elle laissé la place à cet homme ? Et qui est-il d’ailleurs ? Que fait-il dans ce film ? Scène seconde : Marco laisse couler ses larmes en regardant Pina Bausch se débattre sur scène contre des chaises et des murs. Marco pleure l’absente et Benigno regarde, comme fasciné, ces larmes viriles. Le choix de ces deux récits découle, entre autres, d’une ressemblance thématique – le désir d’un homme pour une femme qui passe ou non par la parole. La Macération et Parle avec elle, me semblent les plus aptes à porter en avant la porosité entre littérature et cinéma au niveau poétique (esthétique) en vue d’exprimer la notion du désir dans son lien viscéral avec l’image/la parole aquatique.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.4995/XXVColloqueAFUE.2016.2969

La tecnología de la realidad aumentada (RA), la realidad virtual (RV) y la inmersiva (RVI) es una herramienta educativa con muchas posibilidades de explotación, siendo un campo emergente cada vez más usado en diversos ámbitos. En el contexto de la enseñanza lenguas extranjeras (LE) y de español como lengua extranjera (ELE) concretamente, diversos autores defienden que se podría implementar de manera significativa en el aula. El fin de este artículo es presentar una introducción al concepto, recopilar datos significativos de investigaciones previas, introducir diversas aplicaciones y herramientas tecnológicas que proporcionan una experiencia inmersiva en un entorno digital, así como ejemplos de posibles propuestas didácticas basadas en un enfoque comunicativo y conectivista, valorando los aspectos positivos y negativos de su utilización en el aula. Este trabajo, que forma parte de un proyecto de investigación-acción doctoral, se lleva a cabo con vistas a la posterior ampliación del estudio, ya que las expectativas de futuro sugieren dar respuesta a cuestiones sobre el empleo de esta tecnología.

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo elegir, bajo un determinado escenario, el mejor algoritmo supervisado de machine learning para localizar un terminal que soporte wifi. Se usa un dataset que cuenta con 2000 registros de Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI), obtenidos de 7 puntos de acceso (AP), los cuales se cargan en 8 algoritmos supervisados de machine learning. Luego se elige el algoritmo que realiza la predicción más precisa, incluso cuando se cuenta con un menor número de AP. La mayor precisión se logra con el algoritmo naive Bayes, tanto para el caso de 7 AP (99 % de precisión) como para cuando se cuenta con un número menor de AP. Asimismo, se observa que los algoritmos basados en redes neuronales presentan el peor rendimiento. Finalmente, se proponen trabajos futuros para continuar con la investigación sobre el tema de localización de dispositivos wifi en interiores.

Las previsiones de retroceso económico y social en América Latina y el Caribe son alarmantes. La COVID-19 golpea con fuerza la región marcada que tendrá que afrontar una contracción del 9,4%, una de las más severas en todo el planeta. La desigualdad, la informalidad y la insuficiente dotación sanitaria lastran las posibilidades de hacer frente a la pandemia. Pero son los más vulnerables quienes asumen el costo, hasta 52 millones de personas que podrían caer en la pobreza y 40 millones podrían perder sus empleos, un retroceso de 15 años para la región. Pero la COVID-19 no afecta a todos por igual, una élite se mantiene inmune al contagio de la crisis económica. Desde el principio de los confinamientos, hay 8 nuevos milmillonarios en América Latina y el Caribe, personas con un patrimonio superior a los mil millones de dólares. Las personas más ricas han aumentado su fortuna en US$ 48 200 millones desde marzo 2020, lo que equivale a un tercio del total de los paquetes de estímulo de todos los países de la región. Para hacer frente a esta crisis tan profunda, Oxfam propone una serie de reformas que recaigan sobre quienes más tienen y menos han sufrido la pandemia. Entre otros un impuesto sobre el patrimonio neto de las personas más ricas con el que se podría recaudar al menos US$ 14 260 millones, 50 veces más de lo que ahora se estaría recaudando sobre esta élite de grandes fortunas. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, forecasts for economic and social decline in Latin America and the Caribbean are alarming. The region will face a 9.4% contraction in its economy, among the most severe in the world. Coping with the pandemic is hindered by inequality, weak and insufficient social protection and limited public health capabilities. Up to 52 million people could fall into poverty and 40 million could lose their jobs – a 15-year setback for the region. Yet, an elite remains ‘immune’ to the contagion of the economic crisis. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 8 new billionaires in LAC: 1 every 2 weeks since the lockdowns began. The richest people have increased their fortune by $48.2bn since March 2020, equivalent to a third of the total stimulus packages of all countries in the region. In this paper, Oxfam proposes a series of reforms targeting those who have being less affected by the pandemic. They include a net wealth tax that could potentially generate $14.3bn, 50 times more than billionaires in the region pay now in theory, under current tax systems.
