Full textThe objective of this research is to identify and compare the potentiality of the return migrant entrepreneur back to those of his Local counterpart. It should be recalled that while a significant number of research has addressed entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial characteristics, none, to our knowledge, has studied the potential of the returning migrant entrepreneur in relation to his Local counterpart. The concern to fill the lack of managerial research and to contribute to the scientific debate on this topic has led us to rely on two main paradigms of the traits and the facts of the entrepreneur to establish the concept of entrepreneurial potentials. The theoretical corpus obtained is based on the model of Yvon GASSE. It establishes a link between the different approaches of traits and facts (characteristics and behaviors), incorporates extrinsic factors (middle) and leads to the emergence of the conceptual model of our thesis. This theoretical corpus is relayed by the adapted questionnaire of Gasse which was administered to a sample of 393 Moroccan entrepreneurs MRE (40%) and Local (60%). The MRE are Moroccan residents abroad who have returned to Morocco to create their business. The premises are those who have always been resident in Morocco and who are entrepreneurs. They are therefore two types of entrepreneurs of Moroccan origin but with different life paths (migrant and non-migrant). The 393 questionnaires are subject to multi-dimensional data analysis techniques. The results obtained allow us to answer our research question: the level of the potential of the returning entrepreneur is different from that of the Local contractor. The migratory experience has enabled the MRE entrepreneur to develop a higher level of entrepreneurial potential than that of his Local counterpart. Such results are emerging from the original levers that can feed the endogenous accompaniment devices. Their combination with the Cronbach test provides a reduced and adapted grid of the Gasse model, auguring a differentiated accompaniment of future MRE and Local entrepreneurs

Full textThe history of immigration in general fits into the system of relationship of domination, it depends on the evolution of economic, political and cultural ties between the two countries. The first Moroccan migration in the French army was the first violent act of colonization. It is not strictly speaking a purely economic migration. But it will be, therefore, important in the evolution of this migration process to be more organically linked to the capitalist profit inside and outside the country. In the absence of any organization returns from the country of origin or even of any concerns of this nature, it seems interesting to study the various projects made by the Moroccan immigrant workers faced the prospect of permanent return home. To do this, we chose four dimensions: geographic, professional, socio-cultural and political, union, considered the main migratory path of all immigrants, and we try to objectify. And then we determine, in light of the results of this study, the myth and reality

Full textThis research examines the mediatized political practices of Moroccan migrants. By mobilizing a double diachronic and synchronic approaches, this paper shows firstly that these practices are not new but concomitant with the first Moroccan migration waves. Through the analysis of an “activist press” corpus, this research shows how memberships, the different strategies of representation of collective, and political identities of these migrants during the colonial period and during the process of democratization in Morocco, are manifested. Secondly, this paper studied political practices, which circulate in different online spaces, to understand how they contribute to the construction and rewriting of the “Moroccaness”. For a better understanding, it is essential to take into account the socio-Political context in which these mediatized political practices are developed, in addition to issues of social stratification. Beyond the question of technology, it is the symbolic action of writing the policy that gathers all migrant actors who have been engaged in such practices since the 1930s until today. The act of writing as a performative action, which holds the promise of achieving existence and visibility, is always accompanied by the hope of regaining a voice, which has been cloaked by the dominant political power. Through the mediation of writing, these practices are the expression of the action of some migrant groups, who are deterritorialized and not invested with any authority, but who want to take the floor to articulate about what is happening in their homeland

Full textThe aim of this work is to study the relationships between the children of Moroccan origin born in France and their parents' native country, in the particular case of their stays in Essaouira, Marrakech and Agadir. What are their daily lives, their feelings, their expectations and judgements? My work is an ethnographic research mainly aiming at describing the universe of Moroccan immigrants, at trying to know if their parents give much importance to the "return" and "land of ancestors" themes in their "popular education". I will first sketch definitions for the terms concerning my subject and hightlight some ambiguities of this vocabulary. Then, I will try to describe the way those children of Moroccan descent return (alone or with their parents) to Morocco, and especially to Essaouira, an Atlantic-coast town where their parents were born and grew up

Full textThe magnitude of the return of young Moroccan graduates trained and scarce scientific contributions remain the main catalyst to adventurer in this research process. In this perspective, we opted for a study focusing on the success of the international mobility of young Moroccan graduates trained through social representations. Its challenge to enrich advanced research on international mobility and to provide practical and tangible answers to the many questions that arise in the business world. Our initial question consists of two main components. The first is interested in understanding the content of the social representation of the success of the international mobility of our study population. The second proposes to determine the variables that explain this success. To address the issue of such research, we divided the study into two parts. The first illuminates the theories and concepts inspired from various disciplines. It deals later, the formulation of hypotheses and the presentation of the research model. The second part highlights the empirical knowledge through two field studies. First, we conducted a qualitative study of thirty-two companies and consultants working in the business world leaders in Morocco. Second, we conducted a quantitative study for young Moroccan graduates trained. Ultimately, we got two hundred ninety-six responses to our questionnaire. The results of our research provide various managerial implications, especially in terms of understanding the essence of successful graduates trained and determination of the most significant factors behind this success

Full textThe fundamental concepts of the geography perceived through the triptych Memory-Heritage-Territory allow to sketch the general framework of representation of spaces experimented by the man. This thesis approaches the sense of patrimonial moral values in diasporique situation. The purpose is to consider the patrimonial identities in the test of the territory according to the actions to name, value and instrument places. This research work leans on the analysis of stakes, the actors and the practices of patrimonialisation in Morocco and in Casablanca. The research is also based on the analysis of the environmental frame, the language and some symbolism of places within the forums of Web dedicated to the Jewish moroccan and Amazighe diaspora. The main objective of the adopted approach consists in committing a reflection on the potentiality that the members of the forums of the Web are agents of the patrimonial process. The obtained results update the nature of the privileged memory support, by the Jewish moroccan and Amazighe identities of the exile, for the virtual patrimonialisation of their cultural values. An approach of the patrimonial values in situation of exile by means of the virtual representations of the Jewish and Berber identities of Morocco on the background « Web 2.0 »

Full textFor a long time, it is known that immigrants have significant difficulties on the labor market in developed countries. This thesis tries, to a certain degree, to clarify theses difficulties, using three different databases. The analysis relies, mainly on econometric models. It is articulated on three questions:(1)Which factors determine the international mobility of students?(2)Is the fact of obtaining a degree in host country has an impact on the probability of Moroccans living abroad to be overeducated in the European labor market?(3)What is the incidence of the overeducation situation on wages of natives versus immigrants in European Union labour market? The research conducted here leads to three main results:• The quality of higher education and the network of immigrants in OECD countries have a positive impact on international mobility of student.• Moroccans residing abroad who have at least secondary level in the host country, have more opportunities to not be overeducated, and their professional insertion is easier• Immigrants overeducated are paid less than native overeducated in the European labour market
