Abstract:

Questo elaborato di tesi si concentra sull’analisi del complesso lavoro di monitoraggio e studio dei gas ad effetto serra, in particolare anidride carbonica (CO2) e metano (CH4), effettuato dal CAMM (Centro Aeronautica Militare di Montagna), stazione operativa del Servizio Meteorologico dell’Aeronautica Militare di Sestola (Mo). Tramite un particolare Greenhouse Gas Analyzer, il PICARRO G2301, che sfrutta la tecnologia CRDS (Cavity Ring Down Spectroscopy), viene garantito il monitoraggio delle sole caratteristiche spettrali di interesse. La CRDS è una tecnica basata su un principio di misurazione della velocità di decadimento esponenziale dell’intensità luminosa di un laser all’interno di una cavità anulare. Gli studi effettuati a questo proposito risultano fondamentali in un contesto climatico, ma anche sociale e politico, attualmente critico. L’aumento delle concentrazioni di gas serra, influenzato dalle sorgenti di natura antropica, è un fattore determinante dell’aumento dell’effetto serra e quindi del conseguente incremento della temperatura media globale, che potrebbe condurre ad ingenti conseguenze climatiche. Il CAMM è la seconda stazione al mondo ritenuta di rilevanza globale dall’Organizzazione Meteorologica Mondiale, all’interno del programma GAW (Global Atmosphere Watch); dal 1979 la stazione effettua misure a campionamento continuo delle concentrazioni di anidride carbonica, possiede quindi 40 anni di misure che compongo la più lunga serie storica d’Europa, da cui si può dedurre in maniera evidente il costante progressivo aumento della concentrazione di tale gas nell’atmosfera. Dagli ultimi risultati, in particolare, il tasso di crescita annuale per il Monte Cimone risulta superiore a 1.81 ppm/anno, andamento sovrapponibile ai relativi dati registrati dalle altre stazioni del GAW, conferma dell’estrema valenza e rappresentatività globale della stazione.

Abstract:

In modern cars a lot of effort is put on reducing the background noise level. Despite these efforts it is often difficult for persons in the rear seat(s) to hear the persons in the front seat. This is partly due to the background noise, but also geometry and acoustics properties of the passenger compartment.

The aim of this thesis was to implement a speech enhancement system to increase the audibility between the driver and the rear passenger(s). The speech enhancement system should not affect the directivity of the speech or increase the background noise level.

A speech enhancement system has been implemented on a DSP in a test car. A microphone was placed in front of the driver to collect his/her speech. The microphone signal was bandpass filtered to remove the main part of the background noise and to avoid aliasing. The signal was delayed before it was sent out in the rear loudspeaker. The delay made the speech from the driver reaching the rear passenger before the sound the rear loudspeakers. This delay was enough to get the right directivity of the sound, i.e. making speech sounding as if it came from the driver instead of the rear loudspeakers.

In the thesis other methods to reduce background noise and get directivity of the sound were evaluated, but not implemented in the test car. The evaluations of the system showed that the audibility was increased. At the same time the background noise level was not noticeable increased. The work has been performed at A2 Acoustics AB in Linköping, during spring 2003.

ylemez September 2009, 65 Pages In this thesis, a new mechanism design for opening hatchback-car baggage door is introduced. Unlike the classical hinged doors used, this new design will include a mechanism so that the door will be opened vertically and thus occupy less space behind the car during the opening. In this fashion even the hatchback doors of closely parked cars may be opened. First, considering type synthesis, different mechanism types are investigated. In dimensional synthesis, with the help of Burmester theory, motion generation is applied. Using the circle and center point curves, considering link dimensions, transmission angle characteristics, branching and some order issues possible solutions that satisfy the position requirements are found. To actuate the mechanism, an appropriate gas-spring is sought. As a case study a prototype is manufactured and mounted on a sample hatchback car to check the mechanism performance.

L'histoire des formes urbaines en France entre 1789 et 1848 forme le thème général de cette recherche. Celle-ci montre que la première moitié du XIXe siècle, encore largement méconnue à cet égard, est décisive pour la mise en place des cadres législatifs et administratifs contemporains et la formation des acteurs de la mutation urbaine, qu'elle est la période de gestation des projets a l'origine des travaux d'envergure amorcés à partir du Second Empire et qu'en outre, les municipalités y ont tenu un rôle important. L'étude des mutations urbaines et de l'évolution des acteurs dans trois préfectures de taille moyenne : Bourges, Colmar et Laval, forme le corps de cette recherche qui s'appuie essentiellement sur la lecture des sources manuscrites. L'analyse porte sur le rôle quotidien des municipalités dans la transformation des villes (paysage et fonction), leur rapport a l'État et aux propriétaires privés dans l'application des procédures, leurs questionnements quant à la législation ou le financement des opérations d'urbanisme, leurs doutes, projets et réalisations
The general theme of this dissertation is the history of urban forms between 1789 and 1848. It reveals the importance of this under-explored period in the history of French urban planning in which the framework for contemporary legislative and administrative aspects was laid down and the the principle roles of the actors of subsequent urban transformations defined. It is a period in which projects of considerable scope first emerged that would later be realized under the Second Empire or afterwards and, interestingly, in which the municipalities themselves played an important role. The study of urban transformations and the evolution of actor's roles in the three medium-sized "préfectures" of Bourges, Colmar and Laval are examined, essentially through a reading of archival sources. The analysis concerns the everyday role of the municipality in the transformation of those cities' landscapes and functions, its rapports to the state and to private owners in the application of procedures as well as its questions concerning the legislation and financing of urban planning operations, the doubts its actors experienced isodoing and the projects carried out

S'inscrivant dans le sillage des histoires renouvelées de la diplomatie, de l'administration et des médias, cette thèse examine les modalités de la collecte, du traitement et de la diffusion en Italie des nouvelles provenant de l'Empire ottoman et des différents terrains de la guerre turque. Consécutivement à la généralisation de la représentation permanente et à l'invention des Avvisi a mano et a stampa, les pratiques diplomatiques et administratives des Etats italiens ont évolué. L'examen de l'activité des nonces apostoliques de Venise et l'étude de la composition des plis adressés au Saint-siège par les agents du pape font apparaître une grande plasticité des institutions qui, de la guerre de Chypre (1570-1573) à celle de Candie (1645-1669), s'adaptent continuellement aux nouvelles conditions médiatiques, tout en trouvant également les moyens, essentiellement par la synthèse et la compilation des données, de résoudre les problèmes causes par l'accroissement des flux d'information. Ainsi, il devient possible de mettre en évidence la diffusion au tournant des XVIe et XVIIe siècles d'une véritable culture politique de l'information qui est structurée en amont de la mise en circulation des premiers périodiques, mais se révèle toutefois inédite dans ses formes et dans ses proportions.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the experimental determination of the resilient modulus using cyclic triaxial test with the selected unbound mixtures of the base course of the pavement. The aim is to verify whether the proposed modulus-resilient in the regulation TP 170 based on the statisticaly verified data dating several decades ago is still valid in the present. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the dependence between the measured and the calculated values of the modulus resilient Mr from the cyclic triaxial test and the California Bearing Ratio tests. For the classification of the selected materials, further tests are used in the thesis, such as granularity and compaction tests.
