Abstract:
This study aimed to know the form of trauma recovery for child survivors after the 2011 T?hoku Tsunami, in the picture book (e hon) entitled Minna de Utau be! by Mari Mitsuoka. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. Theories used in this research are Sigmund Freud's theory of Literature Psychology and Resilience theory by Masten (2014). The analysis results showed that child characters in e hon are described as having characteristics of mild trauma that can recover quickly through appropriate trauma recovery support. Those types of recovery support were affected by protective factors that interconnect and complement each other, such as the characteristics of child survivors, family support, and psychological support activities in the school and community environment. The effectiveness of appropriate recovery aid enhances children's resilience in the trauma recovery process, so they can recover and thrive after experiencing a natural disaster.

The research purpose is to gather, collect, and analyze data which needed in creating children story book in pop-up technique, with visually interesting gardening theme to interact with children. The research method is by direct survey into the location, such as schools, children story bookstores, and libraries. Besides, the research will be through literature media like books, magazines and journals; also supported by references contain related topic, like internet. The expected result is that education and added value message could be sent and understood by the children through the story books. The children would acknowledge, love, and preserve nature through gardening. In conclusion, nowadays, visual communication media like story books with interesting visual could gain children’s interest. Therefore, by using pictured story book media in pop-up, it will facilitate the education process of introducing and preserving Mother Nature for children.

Abstract:
The present study discusses Hungarian children’s literature of 2020 with a focus on its decisive works. We analyze works whose authors were nominated for or won the Author of the Children’s Book of the Year prize in the under 12 years age category. Within the corpus of the investigated works two strong genre-based tendencies prevail: tale novel and children’s monologue. We will be discussing how the position of lyric poetry gets re-positioned and becomes the marker of the mystical based on the analyzed works. From a poetics perspective, we will discuss the effects postmodern text-creation strategies have on children’s literature, the lyric self of certain works / role-play of narrators, but we also touch upon the question of which works can be connected to active illustrations. Lastly, we shed light upon what solutions these works have for inspiring the reader to become co-resolvers and co-creators. Abstract This paper highlights the importance of locating ideological engagement in children’s literature within a particular historical and socio-cultural context. It focuses on the literary works for children written by the prominent fiction writer of colonial India, Dhanpat Rai (1880-1936), better known as “Premchand”. The paper offers a textual and historical analysis of his body of work by situating its subject-matter within the larger context of his views on nationalism and literature, evident in his private correspondence, writing and biography. Premchand was a strong proponent of socially and politically engaged literature. He believed that literature of an unfree country like India should educate and offer advice to its people. This greatly reflected in his children’s literature written mainly for male children. He sought to develop their character by teaching them certain values and virtues. The main purpose of his works was character development. This paper argues that the values and virtues that Premchand sought to inculcate in his child readers were laden with a strong patriotic fervour. He sought to advocate national consciousness amongst his readers by instilling in them values of patriotism, self-reliance, bravery, courage and justice. In turn, this would enable them to actively participate in the freedom struggle and hold them in good stead in an independent India of the future. The paper contextualises Premchand's children’s literature within the nationalist discourse on childhood prevalent in early-twentieth-century colonial India and explores the relevance of Sutherland’s conceptual framework in understanding ideological engagement in Premchand’s works. Key words: children’s literature, ideology, nationalism, colonialism, Premchand Resumen Este artículo destaca la importancia de situar el compromiso ideológico en la literatura infantil dentro de un contexto histórico y sociocultural específico. Se centra en las obras literarias para niños escritas por el destacado escritor de ficción de la India colonial, Dhanpat Rai (1880-1936), más conocido como "Premchand". El artículo ofrece un análisis textual e histórico de su obra al situar su temática en el contexto más amplio de sus opiniones sobre el nacionalismo y la literatura, evidentes en su correspondencia privada, escritos y biografía. Premchand fue un fuerte defensor de la literatura comprometida social y políticamente. Creía que la literatura de un país no-libre como la India debería educar y ofrecer consejos a su pueblo. Esto se reflejó ampliamente en su literatura infantil, escrita principalmente para niños varones. Buscaba desarrollar su carácter enseñándoles ciertos valores y virtudes. El propósito principal de sus obras era el desarrollo del carácter. Este documento sostiene que los valores y virtudes que Premchand buscaba inculcar en sus lectores infantiles estaban impregnados de un fuerte fervor patriótico. Buscaba promover la conciencia nacional entre sus lectores inculcándoles valores como el patriotismo, la autosuficiencia, la valentía, el coraje y la justicia. A su vez, esto les permitiría participar activamente en la lucha por la libertad y los prepararía para un futuro India independiente. El artículo contextualiza la literatura infantil de Premchand dentro del discurso nacionalista sobre la infancia prevalente en la India colonial de principios del siglo XX y explora la relevancia del marco conceptual de Sutherland para entender el compromiso ideológico en las obras de Premchand. L’article ofereix un anàlisi textual i històric de la seua obra en situar la seua temàtica dins del context més ampli de les seues opinions sobre el nacionalisme i la literatura, evidents en la seua correspondència privada, la seua escriptura i la seua biografia. AbstractThe article traces the interpretation of the flood story in children's literature, from the apparently literal versions, in which imaginative reinterpretation is transferred to the illustrations, to the non-verbal crowded scenes of Peter Spier, the Midrashic retellings of Scholem Asch and Marc Gellman, feminist readings, like those of Bach and Exum, Madeleine L'Engle's teen novel, and versions which stress the annihilatory implications, including Janisch and Zwerger's Noah's Ark. It concludes with a discussion of Ruth Kerr's How Mrs. Monkey Missed the Ark, in which the canonical text is virtually eliminated, and only appears through the cracks.

Abstract:
The relationship between emergent narrative skills, gender and ethnicity continues to be an important area of debate, with significant socio-political consequences. This paper explores the ways in which these variables intersect in a cross-cultural, longitudinal study of children’s storytelling, focusing on data taken from a multicultural school in Auckland, NZ. Differences in storytelling style reflected the characteristics of Maori English and Pakeha English conversational narratives, but also varied according to age and gender, where the variation was most marked for the 10-year-old children, and was most polarised between the narratives of the Pakeha girls and Maori boys. A longitudinal comparison indicated that these differences were by no means fixed, and that over time the older Maori boys’ storytelling altered in line with the literacy demands to conform to the dominant westernised pattern being imposed in this pedagogic context. This study thus points to the ongoing importance of analysing the shifting ways in which gender and cultural identity are renegotiated in educational contexts, suggesting that there is more scope for questioning and potentially changing dominant literacy practices in this part of New Zealand.

Jewell Parker Rhodes’s Bayou Magic (2015), written in the wake of the 2010 BP oil spill, deliberates the special problem of talking to children about oil. How does one tackle the subject of oil when addressing young people? How are children enabled to participate in discourses on petroleum? The novel also reveals a dilemma: the resource that we associate with comfort and progress actually contaminates, wounds, and lays waste to natural and human ecosystems. Caught in the mucky conundrum of oil, Bayou Magic reveals the challenges of talking to children about oil and oil catastrophes. In striving to meet the expectation that children’s fiction should offer a hopeful, if not happy, ending, Bayou Magic resorts to a resolution that “contains” the oil spill but sidesteps the problem of our persisting dependence on oil. But the novel’s allusion to the African deity Mami Wata is significant, as the figure connects the oppression of Black peoples to the exploitation of natural resources. As such, the novel uses fantastical elements not to imply that only something magical or divine can save us from disaster; rather, it signals that projects of environmental justice require openness to and embrace of radically imaginative solutions.

The humanoid robot has been used in part of the intervention programme for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Some studies address what kind of form and functionality a human-like robot should have to be socially accepted by them as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) children's motivation faces complex challenges. When living in a high-density public housing, children, and physical activities might be an issue as the physical environment may inhibit their outdoor activities. The objective of this paper is to focus on the impact of the physical environment in public housing which affects the children’s physical activity inhibitive. The method employed is mainly through a literature review of published article and journal. There is four distinguished physical characteristic that highlighted in this paper. Abstract:
This thesis concerns the visual representation of the Maori in illustrations featured in the School Journal, Bulletins, Maori Language Readers, and Remedial Readers published by the New Zealand Department of Education from 1907-96. The main focus is to examine how the prehistory of Aotearoa has been presented to the public. For this reason School Journals were chosen as they have been a resource available to all school children for almost a century, and reflect changing theories incorporated into illustrations which can be just as significant, or even more powerful, than text in transmitting information (and sometimes culture-bound values) to the public about past Maori lifeways. I examined specific areas such as the representation Maori physiognomy, representation of gender and ethnicity, material culture, and activities in illustrations and photographs to create an overview of how the Maori have been depicted and question how closely these representations adhere to reality.

A proposta desta dissertação é analisar e interpretar o livro Corda bamba (1979), de Lygia Bojunga Nunes (1932, - ), com o objetivo de observar como se dá a recepção pelo público jovem. Para alcançar seus objetivos, o trabalho prevê duas partes: uma análise e interpretação do texto, verificando a constituição literária da obra; depois, o estudo de sua recepção. A análise de Corda bamba limita-se aos recursos literários que mais se destacam na composição do livro. Em relação à recepção, privilegiou-se um estudo de caso, em que se analisou uma pesquisa realizada com duas turmas de oitava série de uma escola pública de Cornélio Procópio, Paraná, no ano de 2000, após a leitura de Corda bamba. Procurou-se, na análise das entrevistas, valorizar o leitor histórico, enfatizando sua prática de leitura.

Abstract:
No atual contexto em que vivemos, a globalização, isto é, o fenômeno que promove a aproximação entre países e as representações culturais de seus produtores, justifica-se destacar a mais importante tarefa nesta realidade: a tradução. Destacamos nessa pesquisa a relevância e posteriores conseqüências num contexto intercultural cuja direção tradutória seja de países periféricos para os demais países, como a versão da obra literária infanto-juvenil Do Outro Mundo de Ana Maria Machado para o inglês. O livro traz uma série de referências culturais brasileiras, referências históricas e de conscientização sobre a igualdade social e racial discutidas em uma linguagem para crianças. Ainda, essa tradução não foi realizada por um falante nativo da língua meta, mas por uma tradutora que tem como língua materna a mesma da autora e respectiva obra literária, o português brasileiro. Assim, articulamos a Estética da Recepção e a Imagologia, teorias literárias que dialogam com os Estudos da Tradução, para a formulação da seguinte hipótese, de que a apreensão da cultura brasileira pelo consumo de uma produção cultural, como o livro infanto-juvenil, por um público alvo peculiar que se encontra ainda em processo de formação de seus valores e visão de mundo, dentro do contexto cuja autora deteve enorme controle do resultado final, visto a sua parceria de criação com a tradutora, privilegiará a manutenção de traços culturais da nossa sociedade. Aqui, estes se encontram representados por imagens construídas pela escritora no original e, posteriormente, pela tradutora na tradução, dentro de uma temática de extrema relevância social, além de uma forma engenhosa que exige diferentes níveis de interpretação dos leitores nesse contato entre culturas. Assim, com base nos fundamentos teóricos, buscaremos demonstrar essa hipótese no nível discursivo em três pontos principais: a identificação das imagens no texto original e traduzido que apresentam marcas da identidade cultural brasileira; segundo, o fato de que tradução e original fazem parte do universo infanto-juvenil exigindo um enfoque na recepção estética; e por último, a particularidade dessa tradução, isto é, os desdobramentos de uma parceria entre escritora e tradutora que traz uma diferente perspectiva para o resultado final.
In the current moment we live in, the globalization, that is a phenomenon that promotes approximation among countries and cultural representations from their producers, we highlight the most important task present and essential within it: translation. We emphasize in our research the possible consequences within an intercultural context where the translation direction is from periphery to center, as we see in Do Outro Mundo by Ana Maria Machado and its translation into English. This childrens book brings many Brazilian references about History facts, social and racial civil rights. Yet, its translation was not made by a native of English, instead, a Brazilian translator who happens to be the authors daughter who contributed with this research by revealing some of the issues presented in this particular translation. Therefore, we articulate the Reception Theory and the Imagology Studies both literary theories with Translation Studies to formulate the following hypothesis: the comprehension of Brazilian culture by a specific target audience, that is, children who are still developing their moral and social values by a translation of a book which there was a peculiar interference by the partnership between the author and the translator. It will show as a result the maintenance of the cultural representation of our society. Thus, this representation is composed by the images constructed by the author in the original text and later by the translator in the translated text revealing a theme of enormously social relevance and within a form that demands from the reader different levels of interpretation.

Esta dissertação investiga textos contemporâneos que possam propor resistência ao discurso hegemônico patriarcal nas representações de gênero na Literatura Infantojuvenil. Analisaremos textos selecionados da autora Ana Maria Machado na perspectiva de encontrar discursos que visem a auxiliar no rompimento das representações do masculino e do feminino dentro da lógica dicotômica e excludente tida como hegemônica. Procuraremos abordar como são construídas as personagens do gênero feminino pela autora e se o discurso oferecido auxilia na desconstrução dos estereótipos binários entre os gêneros. O título “Coisa de Menina, Coisa de Menino” é uma referência à separação que se dá entre os dois sexos, que acaba atribuindo a cada um deles condutas restritas e exclusivas. Para analisar a temática, objeto desse estudo, em primeiro lugar, faremos uma pequena abordagem sobre os conceitos de infância e Literatura Infantil. Em segundo lugar, conceituaremos o termo Gênero, evidenciando o caráter social e histórico de sua construção. Ao final, abordaremos a importância que a Literatura Infantil tem ao permitir o contato da criança com modelos que valorizem a pluralidade como fios para a construção de suas identidades.
This dissertation investigates contemporary texts that may propose resistance to patriarchal hegemonic discourse in gender representations in Children`s Literature. We will analyze selected texts of the author Ana Maria Machado in the perspective of finding discourses that aim to help in the breakdown of male and female representations, within the dichotomous and excluding logic considered as hegemonic. We will try to address how the female characters are constructed by the author and if the discourse offered helps to deconstruct the binary stereotypes between the genres. The title "Coisa de Menina, Coisa de Menino" is a reference to the separation between the two sexes, which ends up attributing to each one of them strict and exclusive conducts. To analyze the theme, object of this study, first, we will do a small approach on the concepts of childhood and children's literature. Secondly, we will conceptualize the term Gender, evidencing the social and historical character of its construction. In the end, we will discuss the importance of Children's Literature in allowing the child's contact with models that value plurality as threads for the construction of their identities.

Considering the relevance of gender discourse, the parodic revisiting and the incentive of reading in the works of the author Ana Maria Machado, the present study had like objective check which resources used for her to elaboration of tightly emancipatory literary productions for children. We select the following works to constitute the corpus of this research: : História meio ao contrário (1978), O príncipe que bocejava (2004), A princesa que escolhia (2006) e Uma, duas, três princesas (2013), since such narratives are configured as modern revisiting of classic fairy tales, performed through the parodic dialogue established with these traditional tales. In the selected tales, we investigate issues related to the representation of female identities in the context of interpersonal relations, verifying that the female characters of the narratives, be they actors or supporting cast, do not subscribe in the perspective of submission that often are found in the classics narratives. In addition, we have lunched the illustrious work of estetic elaboration undertaken by Ana Maria in the production of her tales. The meticulous work with the text demonstrates how skilled she is by associating a language accessible to children with a poetic structure that matches the great classics of world literature.
Considerando a relevância do discurso de gênero, a revisitação paródica e o incentivo à leitura nas obras da autora Ana Maria Machado, o presente estudo teve como intuito verificar quais os recursos utilizados pela autora para a elaboração de produções literárias fortemente emancipadoras para o público infantil. Selecionamos as seguintes obras para constituir o corpus desta pesquisa: História meio ao contrário (1978), O príncipe que bocejava (2004), A princesa que escolhia (2006) e Uma, duas, três princesas (2013), uma vez que tais narrativas se configuram como revisitações modernas de contos de fadas clássicos, realizadas por meio do diálogo paródico estabelecido com estes contos tradicionais. Nos contos selecionados, investigamos questões relacionadas à representação das identidades femininas no contexto de suas relações interpessoais, verificando que as personagens femininas das narrativas, sejam elas protagonistas ou coadjuvantes, não se subscrevem na perspectiva de submissão que, muitas vezes, são encontradas nas narrativas clássicas. Além disso, evidenciamos o exímio trabalho de elaboração estética empreendido por Ana Maria na produção de seus contos. O minucioso trabalho com o texto demonstra o quão hábil ela se mostra ao associar uma linguagem acessível ao público infantil a uma estruturação poética que se equipara aos grandes clássicos da literatura universal.

This research presents a synchronic and a diachronic investigation of six Italian translations of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (Alice) across a century (1872-1988). This work draws on Antoine Berman's method for the analysis of literary translations and integrates it with interdisciplinary theoretical approaches focused on the investigation of children's literature in translation. The premises of children's literature studies, translation studies, and retranslation studies underpin the analytical framework that supports the textual analysis. The examination focuses in particular on the translation strategies used to convey in Italian the culture-specific references that contribute to fashion the identity of Alice and her Wonderland. The research operates on two different levels. Firstly, it presents a synchronic investigation concerned with a close reading and analysis of each translation in linguistic and textual terms. The elements examined in the detailed survey offer the opportunity to retrace the translators' unique understanding of Alice and discuss how it was conveyed to the Italian readers. Secondly, it proposes a diachronic investigation comparing, from a chronological perspective, the translation solutions previously identified and examines how the concepts of the image of the child and dual readership have evolved in the Italian translations. The purpose of the study is to investigate the translation strategies to convey Alice in Italian, observe the patterns that emerge from the analysis of the texts and advance explanatory hypotheses that would account for the changes in the translators' understanding of Carroll's novel over time. The close reading the research centres on aims to provide a meticulous collection of the translation solutions found in the texts; these are not confined to particular passages of the book but are found throughout it, thus offering support for future analysis on the translations of Alice. Finally, this research also aims to contribute to the analysis of children's literature in translation by providing an analytical framework able to support the investigation of different aspects of books for children in translation in other languages other than Italian.

Cependant, un roman de jeunesse ne peut pas atteindre son objectif d’enrichir les jeunes lecteurs s’ils ne s’amusent pas en le lisant. Il est donc essentiel que les auteurs de jeunesse créent des textes qui plaisent en premier lieu aux lecteurs, des textes qui captent leur intérêt. Si les lecteurs ne sont pas capables de s’identifier entièrement aux thèmes qu’un auteur aborde, son langage ou les personnages qu’il met en scène dans son histoire, le texte ne retiendra pas leur intérêt et l’auteur ne parviendra pas à les enrichir. Children’s novels written by Maryse Condé, Edwidge Danticat, and Gisèle Pineau deal with social and political issues regarding Caribbean people and their diaspora. Gender relationships and violence against women within a postcolonial context feature prominently in their adult novels. This chapter intends to examine to what extent adult texts leave their mark in these authors’ books for young readers, where specific issues of the female condition seem to be overshadowed, or at least addressed in a less pessimistic way. Children’s literature does offer a window into girls and women’s struggles in a postcolonial, male-dominated society. Boundaries between adult and children’s literature may be more permeable than expected.

This chapter discusses the animals of early children’s fiction, showing that their didactic and affective purposes are rooted in the period’s conception of childhood as a time of special closeness to animal being. Children’s writers teach children to grow away from animality, but also use animals to encourage the child reader’s sympathy. The fiction’s message of kindness to animals depends both on reminding children of feelings they share with nonhuman creatures and on explaining human superiority. The chapter argues that children’s writers make a distinct contribution to a developing literature of animal subjectivity. They make significant innovations in narrative techniques for representing nonhuman viewpoints, not only in their use of animal narrators but in third-person narrative access to non-linguistic animal minds. Writers include Dorothy Kilner, Thomas Day, Sarah Trimmer, Anna Letitia Barbauld, Mary Wollstonecraft, William Blake, Dorothy Wordsworth, Maria Edgeworth, and Edward Augustus Kendall.

Anglo-Irish author Maria Edgeworth was one of the most prominent writers of adults’ and children’s literature at the turn of the nineteenth century. Having written six plays for children, we may now consider her one of the first Irish Theatre for Young Audience (TYA) playwrights. TYA is a theatrical experience intended specifically for an audience of children. In 1801, Edgeworth wrote The Knapsack, a home theatrical as part of her Moral Tales collection. The play, set in Sweden, deals with a family waiting on news of its loved one’s survival at war, and at times it presents complicated truths about war and social classes. In this chapter, two TYA practitioners consider how this play might be staged in contemporary times. They explore possible performance choices, concerns and challenges that they might negotiate as they ask how this play might speak to a young audience now.

This chapter takes as its starting point World War One, its traumatic effect on Lessing’s parents, and the ongoing effect of their traumas on Lessing herself; and goes on to explore how these issues are channeled into literary form in The Wind Blows Away our Words (1987), Mara and Dann (1999), The Story of General Dann and Mara’s Daughter, Griot and the Snow Dog (2005) and Alfred and Emily (2008). In exploring the effects of trauma on survivors and their children, it refers to the theories of a psychologist specialising in war trauma, Robert Jay Lifton; to Holocaust scholars such as Michael Levine; and to the philosopher Susan Brison. The chapter demonstrates how Lessing’s early experiences influenced her contribution to what is termed ‘witness literature’, developing techniques in her work that encourage readers to engage with the most challenging issues of her time, and to expose the ways in which language can be manipulated. Lessing’s thinking is contextualised with reference to other writers such as Herta Müller, Nadine Gordimer, Storm Jameson, Attia Hosein and Kamala Markhandaya, whose work is haunted by the effects of war and violence, and who all insist that personal experience cannot be divorced from the Zeitgeist.

The following article focuses on ideology and power relations involved in the act of translating children’s literature. It is proposed that discussions within the theory of CLTS be shifted away from questions of how to produce better translations by avoiding manipulation to focusing on how manipulation and ideology work in translated texts for children. A series of fourteen Polish translations of Mark Twain’s Adventures of Tom Sawyer is used to show the influence that the translator’s ideosomatic and idiosomatic programming has on handling offensive and religious expressions. The extensive data collected allows for a detailed synchronic and diachronic analysis, which proves that although vocabulary considered inappropriate varies relative to both ideological and individual aspects, not a single translation avoids some degree of manipulation; reflecting both contemporary ideology and personal attitude.

Abstract:
Resilience for children with special needs is often discussed in terms of the families concerned rather than the children themselves. This article reports on a current study that aims to analyse sections of daily routines for children with autism, and to find subsequent examples of resilience that the children show. Under a qualitative research framework, the data is derived from a case study supported by a literature review. The literature review was conducted first to find out existing information that might be useful by parents and teachers to understand resilience of tamariki with autism. Relevant journal articles available in the EBESCO database within the time frame of 2000–2021 were looked at. An integrative review process was applied to navigate answers aligned with the research question. For the case study, the data were anecdotal records, of a child diagnosed with severe autism at the age of three. Anecdotes were from three years after the diagnosis, experienced by the author. The daily routine was divided into regular activities during the periods of morning, afternoon and night, both at home and in an early-childhood setting. The literature review revealed that meal time, toileting, play and transition are the aspects of daily routine that have been studied. However, the findings of these studies were very limited in terms of usefulness to teachers and parents due to their quantitative nature. The case study highlights common trends of resilience in the aspects of a day for a child with autism, while acknowledging differences that prevail. Strands of Te Whāriki, the Aotearoa New Zealand early-childhood curriculum, were used as a framework to analyse data for scaffolding the thoughts and mahi (work) of the early-childhood kaiako (teachers). The study proposes an extended version to include other cases, using social media networks.

This brief summarises key considerations concerning cross-border dynamics between Tanzania and Uganda in the context of the outbreak of Ebola (Sudan Virus Disease, SVD) in Uganda. It is part of a series focusing on at-risk border areas between Uganda and four high priority neighbouring countries: Rwanda; Tanzania; Kenya and South Sudan. The current outbreak is of the Sudan strain of Ebola (SVD). SVD is used in this paper to refer to the current outbreak in East Africa, whereas outbreaks of Zaire Ebolavirus disease or general references to Ebola are referred to as EVD. The current outbreak began in Mubende, Uganda, on 19 September 2022, approximately 240km from the Uganda-Tanzania border. It has since spread to nine Ugandan districts, including two in the Kampala metropolitan area. Kampala is a transport hub, with a population over 3.6 million. While the global risk from SVD remains low according to the World Health Organization, its presence in the Ugandan capital has significantly heightened the risk to regional neighbours. At the time of writing, there had been no cases of Ebola imported from Uganda into Tanzania. This brief provides details about cross-border relations, the political and economic dynamics likely to influence these, and specific areas and actors most at risk. It is based on a rapid review of existing published and grey literature, previous ethnographic research in Tanzania, and informal discussions with colleagues from the Tanzania’s Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MoHCDGEC), Tanzania National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR), Uganda Red Cross Society, Tanzania Red Cross Society (TRCS), International Organization for Migration (IOM), IFRC, US CDC and CDC Tanzania. Abstract:
In the article investigational three magazines which went out after Second World war in Germany and Austria in the environment of the Ukrainian emigrants, is «Theater» (edition of association of artists of the Ukrainian stage), «Student flag» (a magazine of the Ukrainian academic young people is in Austria), «Young friends» (a plastoviy magazine is for senior children and youth). The thematic structure of magazines, which is inferior the association of different on age, is considered, by vital experience and professional orientation of people in the conditions of the forced emigration, paid regard to graphic registration of magazines, which, without regard to absence of the proper publisher-polydiene bases, marked structuralness and expressiveness. A repertoire of periodicals of Ukrainian migration is in the American, English and French areas of occupation of Germany and Austria after Second world war, which consists of 200 names, strikes the tipologichnoy vseokhopnistyu and testifies to the high intellectual level of the moved persons, desire of yaknaynovishe, to realize the considerable potential in new terms with hope on transference of the purchased experience to Ukraine. On ruins of Europe for two-three years the network of the press, which could be proud of the European state is separately taken, is created. Different was a period of their appearance: from odnogo-dvokh there are to a few hundred numbers, that it is related to intensive migration of Ukrainians to the USA, Canada, countries of South America, Australia. But indisputable is a fact of forming of conceptions of newspapers and magazines, which it follows to study, doslidzhuvati and adjust them to present Ukrainian realities. Here not superfluous will be an example of a few editions on the thematic range of which the names – «Plastun» specify, «Skob», «Mali druzi», «Sonechko», «Yunackiy shliah», «Iyzhak», «Lys Mykyta» (satire, humour), «Literaturna gazeta», «Ukraina і svit», «Ridne slovo», «Hrystyianskyi shliah», «Golos derzhavnyka», «Ukrainskyi samostiynyk», «Gart», «Zmag» (sport), «Litopys politviaznia», «Ukrains’ka shkola», «Torgivlia i promysel», «Gospodars’ko-kooperatyvne zhyttia», «Ukrainskyi gospodar», «Ukrainskyi esperantist», «Radiotehnik», «Politviazen’», «Ukrainskyi selianyn» Considering three riznovektorni magazines «Teatr» (edition of Association Mistciv the Ukrainian Stage), «Studentskyi prapor» (a magazine of the Ukrainian academic young people is in Austria), «Yuni druzi» (a plastoviy magazine is for senior children and youth) assert that maintenance all three magazines directed on creation of different on age and by the professional orientation of national associations for achievement of the unique purpose – cherishing and maintainance of environments of ukrainstva, identity, in the conditions of strange land. Without regard to unfavorable publisher-polydiene possibilities, absence of financial support and proper encouragement, release, followed the intensive necessity of concentration of efforts for achievement of primary purpose – receipt and re-erecting of the Ukrainian State.
