Abstract:
History was created in 1997 when Deep Blue, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled chess engine, beat the world chess champion. Since then AI and machine learning are being increasingly used in other fields including health care to perform complex tasks. The present commentary compares chess and medicine and how lessons learnt from the application of AI in chess leading to “advanced chess” can be used to develop AI enabled “advanced medicine.” It supports the proposition that while at present it may appear that advances in medical technology are putting a strain on the doctor-patient relationship, in the long run AI and machine learning have the potential to enrich medical care by giving the gift of time to doctors to facilitate better communication with patients and win their trust. Impact of AI and machine learning on Public Health and their role in reviving of Social Medicine has also been discussed.

Abstract:
This article explores how the Government of Tamil Nadu, India, utilised strategic mass communication methods that emerged from a fusion of political and marketing strategies to create an aesthetic approach that elevated Chess Olympiad 2022, an event typically less in the public eye, into a spectacle that captured widespread attention by focusing on the event’s impact on their cultural identity and the subsequent construction of a narrative of global cultural leadership. The marketing strategy of the Government of Tamil Nadu, India may be considered an aesthetic application of the theory of symbolic interactionism, as it employed literary, musical arts and visual arts across Chennai, that ensured active engagement of individuals in the city with the government's aesthetic representations. These visual representations acted as symbolic cues, inviting interaction and sparking the curiosity of the the whole host city, the Government of Tamil Nadu, India succeeded in turning Chess into a spectator sport, and by doing so, forged a key place in the national identity for Chess by building a narrative of collective linguistic and cultural identity. Since all citizens do not have an expert level knowledge on government policies, the media narrative that is built around any government policy determines its perceived success. The media narrative of Chess Olympiad 2022 was the narrative of India emerging as a global leader in cultural diplomacy - a soft power approach that is shaped by aesthetics. In dissecting the intricate interplay between mass communication, aesthetics, and societal identity formation, this study elucidates the transformative role of these strategies during the Chess Olympiad 2022, highlighting their profound implications within the socio-cultural landscape.

Abstract:
In this article, the author analyzes the image of chess in the Soviet films of the 1970s–1980s. The relevance of the topic is associated with the renewed interest in chess and its history in modern films and television series. The author focuses on the Soviet back story of films about chess players, which until recently remained on the periphery of research. The subject of the article is the reception of chess in three Soviet films of the selected period: Grandmaster, White Snow of Russia, and Capablanca. The choice of the films under analysis was motivated by their thematic unity, which consists in translating the image of chess not as a game, leisure activity, or a way of communication but as a sport. The novelty of the research lies in studying insufficiently explored material, comparing the film plot with historical events, and identifying conceptual patterns of how a personality is perceived in late Soviet art. The main characters of the films are professional chess players, two of them based on real people. The film Grandmaster depicts an image of a Soviet intellectual who finds a game of chess to be a form of self-reflection. White Snow of Russia is based on the facts from the life of the chess player Alexander Alekhine. As presented in the film, for the protagonist chess is a vocation and the only suitable mode of existence. Although the narrative is centered around the political aspects of Alexander Alekhine’s biography, he is portrayed as a typical character of late Soviet cinema, involved in a personal conflict. The third film is a biographical melodrama about the idealized historical figure of the Cuban chess player José Raúl Capablanca, which presents a mixture of real historical facts and fiction. In all three films, the filmmakers focus on the international sport of chess, which appears to be inseparable from politics. In Capablanca, the political theme is the least developed one, but it is still important for the plot. Through the analysis of the semantic layers and expressive means of the films, the author of the article points out specific features of the presentation of chess in the Soviet screen culture. This allows identifying three different patterns of the development of the image of chess: a way of self-knowledge and self-development for the character, a sport for the intelligentsia based on the triumph of reason, and an allegory of love relationships between a man and a woman.

Abstract:
In each and every organization, data communication is the essential part. On the daily basis, the data is exchanged within the organization as well as outside the organization. The passwords and OTPs play a critical role in securing the data. Now, how long and how well these OTP will work on, will depend on the strength of these passwords and OTPs. In the proposed work, we have used the novel concept of applying the chess game in the process of the OTP or password generation. Here, we have made use of the four-player chess, with the dynamic movement of the Kings, Bishops and other components. The formation of the OTP for the user authentication as well as data sending is done on the basis of the movement of the moveable objects of the chess. For testing the strength of the pattern, we have tested it using the various entropy checking tools and the results are quite satisfactory comparing to the results of the other.

Abstract:
Over the cancer disease trajectory, from diagnosis and treatment to remission or end of life, patients and their families face difficult decisions. The provision of information and support when most relevant can optimize cancer decision making and coping. An interactive health communication system (IHCS) offers the potential to bridge the communication gaps that occur among patients, family, and clinicians and to empower each to actively engage in cancer care and shared decision making. This is a report of the authors’ experience (with a discussion of relevant literature) in developing and testing a Web-based IHCS—the Comprehensive Health Enhancement Support System (CHESS)—for patients with advanced lung cancer and their family caregivers. CHESS provides information, communication, and coaching resources as well as a symptom tracking system that reports health status to the clinical team. Development of an IHCS includes a needs assessment of the target audience and applied theory informed by continued stakeholder involvement in early testing. Critical issues of IHCS implementation include 1) need for interventions that accommodate a variety of format preferences and technology comfort ranges; 2) IHCS user training, 3) clinician investment in IHCS promotion, and 4) IHCS integration with existing medical systems. In creating such comprehensive systems, development strategies need to be grounded in population needs with appropriate use of technology that serves the target users, including the patient/family, clinical team, and health care organization. Implementation strategies should address timing, personnel, and environmental factors to facilitate continued use and benefit from IHCS.

Like the Chinese nation, China's national traditional sports culture has a long history and is a treasure of Chinese national culture, reflecting the life, customs, wisdom, and pursuit of the people of all ethnic groups in China. The dissemination of national traditional sports culture is not only a necessary method for our country's cultural export but also a necessary means to maintain the diversity of world sports culture. However, there are still serious deficiencies in the dissemination of national traditional sports culture in our country, and some traditional national sports cultures are not even known to the public. Starting from the two communication methods of sports events and network communication, this paper studies the three mature national traditional sports cultures of martial arts (Wushu), Go, and Chinese chess and proposes a quantitative method for communication methods and communication effects. We further analyze the role of national traditional sports culture in cultural communication.

Abstract:
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is the most common chronic autoimmune neurological disease. Its therapeutic management has drastically evolved in the recent years with the development of specific disease-modifying therapies (DMTs). Together with the established injectables, oral and intravenous alternatives are now available for MS patients with significant benefits to modulate the disease course. Certain drugs present with a higher efficacy than the others, profiles and frequencies of adverse events differentiate as well. Thus due to the several and different treatment alternatives, the therapeutic approach adopted by neurologists requires a tactical focus for a targeted, timed, and meaningful treatment decision. An integration of rational and emotional control with proper communication skills is necessary for shared decision-making with patients. In this perspective paper, we reinforce the necessary concept of strategic MS treatment approach using all available therapies based on scientific evidence and current experience. We apply a didactic analogy to the strategic game chess. The opening with oriented attack (i.e. already in early disease stages as clinical isolated syndrome), a correct choice of chess pieces to move (i.e. among the several DMTs), a re-assessment reaction to different scenarios (e.g. sustained disease activity, adverse events, and family planning) and the advantage of real-world data are discussed to try the best approach to ultimately successfully approach the best personalized MS treatment.

PurposeBateson's model of classifying different types of learning will be analyzed from a logical and technical point of view. While learning 0 has been realized for chess playing computers, learning I turns out today as the basic concept of artificial neural nets (ANN). All models of ANN are basically (non linear) data filters, which is the idea behind simple and behavioristic input‐output models.Design/methodology/approachThe paper will discuss technical systems designed on the concept of learning 0 and I and it will demonstrate that these models do not have an environment, i.e. they are non‐cognitive and therefore “non‐learning” systems.FindingsModels based on Bateson's category of Learning II differ fundamentally from Learning 0 and I. They cannot be modeled any longer on the basis of classical (mono‐contextural) logics. Technical artifacts which belong to this category have to be able to change their algorithms (behavior) by their own effort. Learning II turns out as a process which cannot be described or modeled on a sequential time axis. Learning II as a process belongs to the category of (parallel interwoven) heterarchical‐hierarchical process‐structures.Originality/valueIn order to model this kind of process‐structures the polycontextural theory has to be used – a theory which was introduced by the German‐American Philosopher and Logician Gotthard Günther (1900‐1984) and has been further developed by Rudolf Kaehr and others.

AbstractHealth informatics has much to offer community health care. Computer networks and telecommunications provide particular support that can enhance the collaboration among clinicians, care providers and patients. Special-purpose computer tools referred to as Consumer Health Informatics (CHI) represent the application of computer and information technologies specifically to support the health information and communication needs of patients and lay persons. Research projects like ComputerLink and CHESS demonstrate that CHI is acceptable to patients and promotes self-care and disease management. Three grand challenges must be faced to insure realization of the promise of health informatics to community health care: development of knowledge management and information discovery tools for patients, insurance of health information literacy for all persons, and re-engineering clinical practice to capitalize on patients as full partners in health care.

Abstract:
The crisis in Ukraine and the Russian annexation of Crimea negatively affected Russia’s image in the United States and in Western Europe. At the same time, the dynamic of the Russian–U.S. relations during the crisis prodded several prominent American right-wing politicians and commentators to make statements about Vladimir Putin that reflected their own ‘desire for a tough leader who will dispense with niceties and embrace power’. This article explores the phenomenon of Vladimir Putin’s ‘popularity’ among the American conservatives through qualitative textual analysis of the coverage of his persona in several right-wing publications and blogs. The project engages with the concept of ‘soft power’ by raising the following conceptual question: can a leader who ‘wrestles bears and drills for oil’ leverage these characteristics as a type of ‘soft power’ when it comes to ‘winning the hearts and minds’ of certain international constituencies and under particular international circumstances?

An analysis of recent research and publications. The works of scientists are presented, in which the methods of forming the market of rating services, ranking of enterprises and organizations of different spheres of activity were studied. Modern methods of web resources analysis are considered: SEO-audit, analysis based on web analytics, expert evaluation, ranking of organizations according to administrative data. The ranking mechanism is considered. The principles of operation of the all-Ukrainian reference site «TOP 20», which is developing rapidly and requires the introduction of analytical tools to increase its competitiveness among other reference sites. The structure of the site «TOP 20» is given. The information-analytical subsystem of the site is selected, which is one of the components and ranks companies to establish their rating. The difference between reference sites, which is the principle of ranking companies, is studied. To rank companies on the «TOP 20» website, it is proposed to use the formula for calculating the Elo chess rating. The formula for calculating the chess rating of Elo is considered. A modification of the Elo rating formula, which uses an integrated indicator, is proposed. The integrated indicator consists of: the number of user reviews; general assessment of the company; package of services purchased by the company; deadline for registration on the site. The components of the integrated rating on the «TOP 20» website are considered. The application of calculating the integrated rating of companies on the site «TOP 20», which is based on the Elo rating, is considered.

Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), a special form of linear programming, has been used to measure comparative productivity of businesses which have the same goals and objectives. Majority of the businesses tend to make use of information systems in order to increase their efficiency and productivity, decrease transaction costs, save labor, improve intra-organizational communication, increase the quality of goods produced or services provided, obtain customer satisfaction, and consequently improve competitive power in international markets. Information systems and related software are increasingly used by health sector. Each institution (hospital, bank, court, school, etc.) can be compared with similar units of a system of which it is a piece, and comparative efficiencies can be determined. In this study, using the data of 21 different hospitals of chess illnesses, technical and scale efficiencies are calculated, and determining the relationship between information systems and institutional performance is aimed.

Abstract:
In this paper we apply our understanding of the radical enactivist agenda to the classic AI-hard problem of Natural Language Understanding. When Turing devised his famous test the assumption was that a computer could use language and the challenge would be to mimic human intelligence. It turned out playing chess and formal logic were easy compared to understanding what people say. The techniques of good old-fashioned AI (GOFAI) assume symbolic representation is the core of reasoning and by that paradigm human communication consists of transferring representations from one mind to another. However, one finds that representations appear in another’s mind without appearing in the intermediary language. People communicate by mind reading it seems. Systems with speech interfaces such as Alexa and Siri are of course common, but they are limited. Rather than adding mind reading skills, we introduced a “cheat” that enabled our systems to fake it. The cheat is simple and only slightly interesting to computer scientists and not at all interesting to philosophers. However, reading about the enactivist idea that we “directly perceive” the intentions of others, our cheat took on a new light and in this paper we look again at how natural language understanding might actually work between humans.

Abstract:
In translating texts for the Chess Overall Development Project (Zaretskii, 2016), we have encountered several types of challenges that may be illustrative of what translators in the field of cultural-historical psychology (CHP) may deal with. Translators use various tools and strategies in their search for equivalence. Lack of the uniform CHP vocabulary and consensus on the CHP terms: di˙erences in transformational techniques and levels of the translators’ linguistic competence and their competence in CHP as such, result in co-existence of various translations of the same concepts, which may interfere with the process of communication and become a subject of controversy. Other challenges relate to specific linguistic features of the psychological scientific discourse of CHP, i.e. the need to observe rigorous scientific requirements to style and content, and abundance in expressive, emotionally and culturally charged utterances and vocabulary. The CHP terminology is characterized by specific word formation; lack of stylistic neutrality and lack of equivalent terms in target languages. Therefore, an appropriate translation implies using a special modification technology to create a target-language term which would have an equivalent denotative meaning; meet the requirements of the scientific style and preserve its stylistic uniqueness, emotional, and cognitive relevance (ensuring congruence of the reader’s experience with the author’s experience as mirrored by the lexical unit).

Abstract:
The article deals with cases of using sports metaphors in different discourse types in the Russian (linguistic) worldview. Metaphor is considered to be the main mechanism to conceptualize the reality and the culture code, which helps to identify peculiarities in the view of the world by various nationalities. The sports met- aphor is defined as a basic cognitive model built in the collective linguistic consciousness; it helps to comprehend phenomena from the sphere of politics, economics, education, medicine, and many other conceptual spheres of our life. Being a source domain, sport supports interdiscursive links, and sports metaphors perform nominat- ing, cognitive, decorative, declaratory, evaluative and other functions depending on the pragmatic intension of the author of the utterance. In addition to Russian sports metaphors, other examples are included in illustrating the usage of sports terms in non-sports discourses of other languages (German, English, Polish, Italian). Thus, it demonstrates their universal nature. A conclusion can be made about a global tendency in the development of many languages – their sportization, a specific role and function of sports vocabulary in (intercultural) communication. As a perspective for further research, the author suggests studying this issue in the quantitative aspect – determining the frequency of using football, baseball, chess and other types of sports metaphors to identify their linguistic and culturological potential.

AbstractThe steady advances in computer performance and in programming raise the concern that the ability of computers would overtake that of the human brain, an occurrence termed ‘the Singularity’. While comparing the size of the human brain and the advance in computer capacity, the Singularity has been estimated to occur within a few decades although the capacity of conventional computers may reach its limits in the near future. However, in the last few years, there have been rapid advances in artificial intelligence. There are already programs that carry out pattern recognition and self-learning which, at least in limited fields such as chess and other games, are superior to the best human players. Furthermore, the quantum computing revolution, which is expected to vastly increase computer capacities, is already on our doorstep. It now seems inevitable that the Singularity will arrive within the foreseeable future. Biological life, on Earth and on extraterrestrial planets and their satellites, may continue as before, but humanity could be ‘replaced’ by computers. Older and more advanced intelligent life forms, possibly evolved elsewhere in the Universe, may have passed their Singularity a long time ago. Post Singularity life would probably be based not on biochemical reactions but on electronics. Their communication may use effects such as quantum entanglement and be undetectable to us. This may explain the Fermi paradox or at least the ‘Big Silence’ problem in SETI.

The oldest known inhabitants of Taşlıca (Bozburun Peninsula, in Southwestern Turkey), recorded as Phoinix in the inscriptions, were the Tloioi people. In the light of the ancient Greek corpus reported especially from the site of Fenaket (namely Rumevlek, forming the core of the dwelling zone) and the Classical wall ruins at the Acropolis, it is understood that the village has been systematically occupied since the 5th century BC. The settlement, which grew as a dominion of Kamiros as of the 3rd century BC, expanded its territory in the NE-SW axis over the centuries. Although Phoinix’s chess-board system of insulae of the megara offers parallels with Kamiros, owing to its Hellenistic-style plan and layout, it contains clues to far more ancient codes. In this study, besides being greatly equated with the Hellenistic period, Phoinix’s identity in the historical process, which gives indications of her Karianism, is discussed with the help of selective materials, basically authentic architecture tracked over the region. Apparently, the pyramidal monoliths were not unique to Phoinix; however, the Tloans, like the other neighboring komai on the mainland, seem to have managed to keep their traditions of communication with the “other world” through such features. Hence, these monoliths, which evoke the ziggurat morphology or the famous Mausoleum at Halicarnassus to connect to the afterworld, must have been the typical manifestations of the Karian mentality, sufficiently reflected by the aboriginal communities, however inevitably overshadowed by the grandest architectural projects of the Hekatomnid dynasty.

Abstract:
This research explores the dominant sports coaching style preferred by athletes at Cavite State University Imus Campus in the Philippines. Drawing upon a descriptive research methodology, the study investigates athletes' preferences across various demographic factors and types of sports played. A total of 183 officially enrolled athletes participated in the study, providing valuable insights into their coaching preferences. The findings reveal a universal preference for democratic coaching styles (x̄= 4.69) among athletes, emphasizing collaboration, communication, and participatory decision-making. Regardless of age, sex, year level, or degree program, athletes consistently rated democratic coaching as their preferred style. However, variations and exceptions were observed across certain types of sports, highlighting the importance of tailored coaching approaches. An interesting finding emerged regarding archery, where the athlete's average ratings for all coaching styles—Democratic, Autocratic, and Laissez-Faire—were consistently rated as x̄=5.00, suggesting a preference for any coaching style by a single athlete. Moreover, exceptions were observed in specific sports. For instance, in Chess, an Autocratic coaching style was dominant, indicating a preference for a directive approach (x̄=4.91). Similarly, in Lawn Tennis, athletes showed dual preferences for both Democratic and Autocratic coaching styles. It is significant that coaches recognize and adapt to athletes' preferences to optimize engagement, motivation, and performance outcomes. Aligning the appropriate coaching style to the athletes’ preference, can enhance the overall athletic experience and contribute to the success and satisfaction of athletes in their sporting endeavors.

Abstract:
The aim of the research is to analyze the creativity manifestation in the early stages of ontogenesis; to verify the relationship between creative abilities and social adaptation of preschoolers. The importance of the topic under consideration is determined by the fact that preschoolers’ childhood is the main sensitive period for the formation of creativity as the person’s adaptive re-source. The deficiency of development during this period cannot be compensated later. The examination of the creative abilities of 115 children aged 5-6 years has been conducted. Based on the total result of seven subtests Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking, three groups of children have been distinguished. They include children with high (N=20), medium (N=79), and low (N=16) creative potential. Data on behavior have been collected from 142 parents and 24 teachers who supervised children during communication situations. The adaptation of preschoolers have been analyzed on three sides: as a set of individual be-havioral reactions conditioning cooperation with the environment (A questionnaire of children’s temperament Thomas and Chess); as a social competency – skills in communication with children and adults (expert assessments of teachers based on the open structured supervision), and as an emotional adaptation to life situations (the projective technique of anxiety diagnostics “Choose a face”). In all cases, children with high creative potential demonstrated particular differences. The positive reaction of “approaching” in response to new stimuli, a low sensory threshold, and high speed of adaptation to the change of external terms are a typological profile of a “creative” temperament. Related problems of emotional reaction and the increased anxiety of pre-schoolers have been detected. The development of skills for social competence lags significantly in the group with a low level of creativity. The factorial structure of creative abilities, which presents three types of creativity (subject, verbal, and figurative), and three leading abilities (productivity, originality, and fluency) have been suggested. The particular parameters of creativity corre-late in different ways with the adaptability of preschoolers: the readiness is more successful, and originality is associated with disturbances of emotional regulation. In conclusion, creativity is presented as a natural condition for a child’s adaptation.

Abstract:
In the article some aspects of the everyday life of Volhynia burghers and peasants of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania at the end of the 14th and mid-16th centuries are considered. The variety and variations of food, the types of clothing available to ordinary people, the concept of body care and health care, as well as the entertainment of the common people and places of rest such as taverns and baths are explored. It was discovered that the Volhynians’ diet was rich and included meat products, such as fish like carp, pike, sturgeon, beluga and even Danzig herring, flour products, seasonings and natural preservatives, which were bought at city auctions and grown on their own. By the middle of the 16th century, Volhynians formed separate ideas about medicine, where approaching Jewish or Welsh doctors were common. Usually, medicines were herbal drinks and ointments Examination of the body was carried out to identify the causes of the disease. Activities of local people were analyzed, such as dice, chess, dance, communication with other residents of Volhynia cities and villages, usage of prostitutes. In fact, depending on the success of the production sphere, the citizen or the peasant could afford a standard of living. It was found out that the everyday life of the Volhynian was relatively bright and filled with events and included the choice of products for dinner, the selection of a new wardrobe item, the discussion of local news after work, participation in lawsuits in ham, playing games and taking the glass of a strong drink. The Volhynians’ ideas of «unprofitable people», which had analogies in Western European countries, were singled out.

Abstract:
Data security has recently become the most pressing problem for corporate owners and even regular people due to the continual development in the speed of data transmission over the entire Internet, and stricter regulations have been made for data protection. Secure key management is now essential for securing information exchange due to the Internet of Things (IoT) and the rapidly advancing mobile device technologies. Smart home and healthcare IoT apps, for instance, offer automated services to users with little user involvement. Data transmission delays and intrusions can affect existing security solutions that use a single link. In this paper, we propose a novel distributed key management scheme for IoT ecosystem. The methods Knight-Tour and polynomial-based hash least significant bit (PHLSB) that take use of flaws in the human visual system (HVS) are combined to form a hybrid approach to image steganography in this research. The Knight's trip path is a chess board layout that follows the route of a horse without stopping at any of the nodes again. In order to create the scrambled image, this travel path pattern is employed to permute the original image's pixel positions. Prior to being masked behind a cover image, this technique makes sure the communication has been encrypted. A strong mathematical tool is a polynomial equation. The cover object's data was hidden using these equations as a secret key. The suggested solution efficiently secures IoT devices by assigning the resource-intensive encryption processing to local organisations. As a result of the proposed framework's simulation findings, network lifetime PDR (Packet Drop Ratio) has improved, throughput has increased, energy consumption has decreased, and latency has decreased.

Abstract:
The article substantiates the use of serious games for training in the specialty 061 Journalism. Serious games are viewed as information and communication technologies for training journalists. Well-known serious games of journalistic direction are analyzed. The role of serious games in the courses «Internet Journalism», «Blogging», «International Journalism», «Fact-Checking», «Art Journalism», etc. is determined. The project of a serious game «J-chess» for journalists using the universal modeling language (UML) is described. It identified the benefits of serious games for learning journalists: work the principles of active- and problem-based learning, a pleasant and deep immersion in professional issues and educational topics. Serious games are also a basis for strengthening the interdisciplinary links between mandatory and selective disciplines of journalists’ professional training. The content and principles of serious games contribute to reaching learning outcomes defined in the Higher Education Standard in journalism. It confirmed this by the four-year results of students' surveys. Problematic issues for the practice of serious games in the educational process are shown: digital inequality, availability of video games, lack of integration of serious games with electronic learning systems, students’ readiness to play, the didactic impact of the game, and ethical dilemmas. Emphasis is placed on the need to create methodological aids for serious games, determine their role and place in the discipline’s structure, formulate the principles and algorithms for pedagogical support of serious games. Solving these problems will promote the academic and practical training of future journalists through serious games, intensify the development of serious games, bring together the gaming industry and education. Integrating serious games with online learning will be the basis for trans-media learning. And this will increase the quality of education and the level of satisfaction of graduates and stakeholders.

Moser, Maiia. "Functional Aspects of Language Games in Political Discourse." Історико-політичні проблеми сучасного світу, no. 44 (December 15, 2021): 173–79. http://dx.doi.org/10.31861/mhpi2021.44.173-179.

Full text
Abstract:
The article analyzes various aspects of communication in political discourse. One of its major arguments says that politicians who disrespect major rules of communication violate the basic principles of interaction, namely in that they introduce their own new patterns of language games. Adequate principles of interaction are an indispensable requirement for political discourse as such in that they guarantee efficient communication and help avoid conflicts. Such principles are based on general rules of communication. The article underlines the importance of a structual logical chain of political communiction along the following lines: intention – strategy – tactic – means of realization. In general, human beings acquire languages according to basic linguistic forms and models. Тhe Austrian philosopher L. Wittgenstein introduced the term “language game”. In a similar vein, the Swiss linguist F. de Saussure established a link between language and the sphere of games in that he compared the systems of natural languages to the rules of chess. The language games of political discourse are represented by imperative intentions, emotive senses and various means of the manipulative use of linguistic units; they usually focus on factors of impact. The article discusses the intentions of language games as a point of activization of cognitive and communicative activities for the achievement of goals related to strategies and tactics of politicians. The nature of these intentions exerts impact on the realization of the linguo-pragmatic potential of the functions of perlocutionary linguistic acts (requests, orders, etc.). The perlocutionary functions of language are the basis of political manipulation which manifests itself as a systematic combination of traditional political instruments with contemporary communicative approaches to various aspects of the manipulative impact on political consciousness and behavior. Average citizens who react to political discourse automatically take part in broader intellectual and communivative activities; they also demonstrate their own participation in political processes. Therefore political discourse has an impact on the formation and development of civic society and its relations to the state. As a rule, politicians develop their communicative strategies along programs and platforms that are designed for central subjects of the political process (the government, political parties and leaders). This limited circle of addressees causes a certain lack of efficiency that should be corrected inasmuch as the ultimate goal of any communicative strategy should be a certain change of the addressee’s worldviews. Political tactic is an important component of political communicative technologies. Political communicative activities include various aspects of tactical measures and methods that start on a local level and go viral according to strategically devised lines. In this setting, specific political texts with their particular pragmatic implications appear to be units of political discourse with their own semiotic structure. Politicians create messages based on their world views and ideologies. The role of the addressee should be understood as a priority in political communicative acts that are usually characterized by polemics, a high degree of axiology and persuasiveness. The article focusses on linguistic tools that politicians use in order to manipulate the electorate. To influence the electorate, politicians use manipulative linguistic items on the lexical, idiomatic and metaphorical level. In political discourse, such linguistic items often turn into stereotypical linguistic tools of particular politicians that leave their mark on the electorate’s ideas of their values and beliefs. The article emphasizes the importance of the use of “strong” linguistic items that help create, in the best case, an image of the politician that includes humoristic associations with his or her individual professional language.

BackgroundClinical assessment of newborn heart rate (HR) at birth has been reported to be inaccurate. NeoTapAdvancedSupport (NeoTapAS) is a free-of-charge mobile application that showed good accuracy in HR estimation. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of NeoTapAS on timing of HR communication and resuscitation interventions.MethodsThis was a randomised controlled cross-over (AB/BA) study evaluating HR assessment using auscultation plus NeoTapAS compared with auscultation plus mental computation in a high-fidelity simulated newborn resuscitation scenario. Twenty teams each including three paediatric residents were randomly assigned to AB or BA arms. The primary outcome was the timing of the first HR communication. Secondary outcomes included the timing of the following four HR communications and the timing of resuscitation interventions (positive pressure ventilation, chest compressions, intubation and administration of first dose of epinephrine).ResultsNeoTapAS reduced the time to the first HR communication (mean difference −13 s, 95% CI −23 to −4; p=0.009), and the time of initiation of chest compressions (mean difference −68 s, 95% CI −116 to −18; p=0.01) and administration of epinephrine (mean difference −76 s, 95% CI −115 to −37; p=0.0004) compared with mental computation.ConclusionsIn a neonatal resuscitation simulated scenario, NeoTapAS reduced the time to the first HR communication and the time of initiation of chest compressions and administration of epinephrine compared with mental computation. This app can be especially useful in settings with limited availability of monitoring equipment, but further studies in clinical scenarios are warranted.Trial registration numberNCT03730025.

Abstract:
The Covid-19 pandemic has had far-reaching effects worldwide, impacting various aspects of society and the economy. For this, governments have faced significant challenges in addressing this global crisis. Amidst the outbreak, there have been public debates and disputes surrounding government communication and policies related to Covid-19. The lack of public understanding of the implemented measures has led to criticism of the government's response, seen insufficient and ineffective in communicating with the public. This study focuses on analyzing controversies and debates surrounding government policies during the early stages of the pandemic. Using a quantitative content analysis approach, the study examined policy content sourced from popular Indonesian news media portals. The research findings indicated that the president played a central role in conveying government policies, which primarily focused on macro-level strategies to combat the pandemic. However, the communication of these policies has generated significant controversy and discord among the public.

Abstract:
This study presents an augmented reality application for training chest electrocardiography electrode placement. AR applications featuring augmented object displays and interactions have been developed to facilitate learning and training of electrocardiography (ECG) chest lead placement via smartphones. The AR marker-based technique was used to track the objects. The proposed AR application can project virtual ECG electrode positions onto the mannequin’s chest and provide feedback to trainees. We designed experimental tasks using the pre- and post-tests and practice sessions to verify the efficiency of the proposed AR application. The control group was assigned to learn chest ECG electrode placement using traditional methods, whereas the intervention group was introduced to the proposed AR application for ECG electrode placement. The results indicate that the proposed AR application can encourage learning outcomes, such as chest lead ECG knowledge and skills. Moreover, using AR technology can enhance students’ learning experiences. In the future, we plan to apply the proposed AR technology to improve related courses in medical science education.

Abstract:
Pneumopericarditis describes a clinical scenario where fluid and air are found within the pericardial space. Although infrequent, pneumopericarditis should be considered in patients presenting with acute chest pain as a differential diagnosis. This is relevant in patients with history of upper gastrointestinal (GI) surgery, as this may lead to a fistula communicating the GI tract and the pericardium. We report a 42-year-old man with history of numerous surgical interventions related to a Nissen fundoplication that presented with acute chest pain and inferior lead ST segment elevations. Emergent coronary angiography was negative for coronary vascular disease but fluoroscopy revealed air in the pericardial space. Subsequent radiographic studies helped confirm air in the pericardial space with a fistulous communication to the stomach. Ultimate treatment for this defect was surgical closure.

Abstract:
Terminology of many fields of knowledge has become a component of modern language. It is the basis of professional communication, often breaks stylistic boundaries and under the influence of external and internal language factors expands the scope of its operation. Penetrating into the poetic context, the terms denote both the realities of modern everyday life and become a source of artistic imagery. A. Moisienko's poetry has not been considered from this point of view yet, so the article intends to consider the idiosyncrasy of the writer in such a perspective. Anatolii Moisienko is a well-known Ukrainian poet, author of poetry collections: "I Accept" (1986), "Sonnets and Verlibry" (1996, 1998), "Chess Poetry" (1997), "Seven strings" (2003), "Favorites" (2005), "From the Chernihiv Gardens: New Sonnets and Verlibrs" (2008), "About Veronica Borachok" (2020), etc. He is also known as a translator from German and Slavic languages. Despite his high scientific degree and a worthy position at the prestigious Kyiv University, his soul has always longed for the poetic word, the music of sounds in poetic images. . Moisienko as a scientist constantly operates with te. Moisienko as a scientist constantly operates with terms in his professional activity. This is mainly a philological terminology. However, in his poetic texts we come across the terminology of various spheres of life: flight, airfield, airplane, liner (aviation vocabulary), hard labor, prison (penitentiary), music, melody, sonata, allegro, flute, overture, orchestral, symphony, clarinet, drum, horn (musical), poetry, grotesque, rhyme, epilogue (literary studies), harvest, scythe, mowers, field, stubble, grass, farmer, harvest, rye (agriculture), icon, pray, fasting (sacred), trolleybus, tram, bus, stop, route (transport), cannon, shot, battle, enemy , protection, rifle (military), lightning, storm, rain, wind, snow, sun, clouds, huga, frost (meteorological), convulsions, body, pain, X-ray, plague (medical), etc. In the literary text there is a rethinking of the term in the figurative plane, where semantic innovations are born, due primarily to the context of use. The author's linguistic thinking is purely individual. The subject of poetry is extremely broad. Terminology, which covers not only terms but also professionalisms, professional jargons, nomenclature names, in the poetic text rarely performs its main function - the designation of scientific concepts. For the most part, it becomes an integral part of the figurative outline of the work. The poetic word is the bearer of intellectual and emotional memory, which is actualized in certain images, able to express in a condensed form the emotional attitude to the signified, and therefore has its own internal epistemological, socio-psychological potential.

Abstract: The study of intelligent behaviour is known as artificial intelligence. Wagner said, "We build intelligent machines in science." By this, he implied that the primary goal is to teach these sophisticated devices, such as computers, to examine and comprehend human conduct. numerous believed that human intelligence might be understood through the construction of several programmes, while other researchers believed that numerous basics should be required in order to accomplish the intended objective. We can carry out or replicate any type of task we conduct using a computer. Therefore, computers are the ideal devices for developing artificial intelligence. In the hopes that they will outperform computers in several other areas, some researchers created additional computing devices. Billions of dollars were invested in creating new devices that surpassed the speed of the computer used to simulate software. However, the computers and the code both need to be extremely quick. As you learn about artificial intelligence, you may wonder, what really is intelligence? How is intelligence measured? Turn become something quite significant. In this case, the programme that evaluates its surroundings acts as the intelligent agent. Modern digital computers and human minds are comparable to one other in ways such as symbolic information processing systems. Both use symbolic data as input, change it in accordance with predetermined guidelines, and then use the results to solve issues. In order to mechanically replicate intelligent human activity, artificial intelligence researchers have programmed some algorithms to recognise intelligent human behaviour. Human conduct in language processing, chess, and other games, as well as medical diagnostics, may be used to monitor this activity. Voice recognition is a key component of AI. A certain voice may be recognised using voice recognition technology. The cornerstone for speaker identification is voice signals. Voice targeting is applicable to a wide range of applications, including voice mail, database access, phone banking, and phone purchasing. The ability to enter one's voice for verification is among the most potent uses of voice recognition for security. The fundamental means of interpersonal communication is speech. The technique of translating voice sounds into appropriate text is known as speech recognition. Over the past few years, speech recognition technology has advanced significantly. Nonetheless, there are other significant study obstacles, such as variations in speaker and language, ambient sound, word size, etc. This study aims to give a comprehensive overview of speech acceptance by summarising the several approaches utilised in the standard speech system and describing the numerous processes involved

Abstract:
Abnormal communications between the systemic and pulmonary venous systems are rare but can present as a opacity on chest radiograph. A solitary vessel communicating as a fistula directly between the systemic arterial circulation and the pulmonary venous system is not widely described. These may have significant implications in the long-term cardiovascular health of an individual acting as a left to right shunt. There is no clear consensus as to the management, but surgical management and endovascular embolisation have been successfully used. We present a case where a systemic arteriaopulmonary fistula originating from the abdominal aorta and connecting to the right inferior pulmonary vein manifested as an incidental finding on a chest radiograph and was further evaluated on cross-sectional imaging in a young patient. Chest radiographs are non-specific and it is important to be aware of the less frequent but important pathologies that can be picked up on plain chest radiographs, which inturn should warrant further investigation. This is presented in conjunction with a review of the available literature along with a discussion regarding the differential diagnosis and management applicable to the general clinician.
