Abstract:

Abstract:
In addition of spreading the religious teachings, religious experts are also tasked with assisting people in solving their daily lives such as family problems. They are visited by their followers through informal channels, namely outside the institutions provided by the state such as the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA), the Advisory Board for the Development and Preservation of Marriage (BP4), and the ReligiousCourts. From a counseling point of view, this is discussed as family counseling. This paper will discuss this phenomenon from a sociological point of view to understand the meaning and scope of family conflict within the framework of Max Weber's charisma theory. In conclusion, family conflict itself is basically natural and neutral or can have a positive or negative value. Among the three types of charisms proposed by Weber, namely prophetic, magical, and institutional hegemony, the ulama have hegemony over the ummah in the institutional charism category

Abstract:
The “intellectuals” were born during the Dreyfus lawsuit and, in the beginning, the neologism was used to refer to the cultural vanguard daring enough to defy the reason of State. As a consequence, the intellectuals' traditional ways of political commitment somehow oppose them to the governing elites of whom they tend to become the bad conscience. Thus, according to Pierre Bourdieu: “the intellectual (…) gives rise to a policy of the purity which appears to be the perfect antithesis of the reason of State.” So it seems relevant to focus on those of them who didn't accept this role of criticism and confronted themselves with the reality of power. Furthermore, the intellectuals that we shall study present another characteristic: they supported a charismatic political leader. For several commentators, emotionality and irrationality are essential elements in the definition of charisma. It can thus seem paradoxical to see the members of a certain cultural elite binding to such leaders. In fact, the study of the relations between intellectuals and charismatic personalities can be a way of demystifying this power that remains partly unexplained

Abstract:

Charisma has been intently studied in professions that value social influence. A notable exception has been in the field of psychotherapy, despite the central importance of therapists’ ability to engage and influence their clients. The present study is the first to qualitatively examine the phenomenon of therapist charisma as perceived by clients. The researcher conducted a semi-structured interview with 17 participants in order to gain a sense of how they perceived, related to, and described their charismatic therapists and their therapeutic efficacy. Participants were an ethnically diverse adult sample, with an average age of 42, who had a minimum of 8 sessions with a licensed therapist they considered to be charismatic. Only those participants who rated their therapist’s charisma as 7 or above on a 1-10 scale were included. Themes identified across transcripts highlighted the importance of common factors, especially relationship factors associated with the quality of the alliance, in determining clients’ evaluations of the therapy relationship and outcome. Responses suggest that participants’ perceptions of charisma were interwoven with common factors valued in therapists. Of participants reporting positive experiences, 67% described their therapist’s charisma as relationally and therapeutically helpful. Only 2 participants reported their therapist’s charisma as a negative. Multiple positive differences were reported between charismatic and non-charismatic therapists, such as greater rapport, comfort, relatability, and quality of working alliance. Participants identified characteristics and behaviors in their therapists commonly associated with charisma in the literature (e.g., animated voice and body language, emotional expressiveness, quality of eye contact, articulateness) and linked several positive descriptors with their therapist’s charisma (e.g. engaging, intriguing, friendly, happy, genuine, funny, warm). The interweaving of charisma within themes makes it difficult to gage the specific impact of charisma on participants’ experiences. The possibility is put forth that common factors described in this study refer to the content of what therapists delivered in therapy and charisma refers to the style with which therapists delivered content. Results indicate it is reasonable to be curious about how charisma might enhance a therapist’s effectiveness. The fact that clients in this study describe their therapists’ charisma as relationally and therapeutically helpful suggests it is worthy of further investigation.

Abstract:
This paper aims to assess the human perception of groups about charisma, comfort and realism in relation to black and white skin colors of characters created with Computer Graphics (CG) in different media, such as movies, games, animations, simulations, among others. We created a form that contained images of groups of CG characters with black and white skin colors, and asked participants to rate perceived comfort, charisma and realism. After that, we compared these results with data collected from related work. The results indicated that people can feel comfortable, and observe charisma similarly to CG characters with black and white skin colors.

Abstract:
Charismatic speaking skills, particularly those of the voice, are known to be an important asset of managers, politicians, and even teachers. Students have so far been less in the limelight in this regard, although modern collaborative-learning and oral-examination concepts suggest that vocal charisma can already be a decisive factor for study success as well. The present paper examines this question based on 82 electrical-engineering students. Their initial self-introductions in front of the other fellow students were analyzed using a new acoustic technology that translates 16 voice features into a total vocal charisma (PASCAL) score. Results show that these PASCAL scores are overall low (i.e. improvable) and positively correlated with the oral exam grades of both individual students and student teams. Moreover, the teams' PASCAL scores positively correlate with the per-formance in the "Marshmallow Challenge", i.e. a creative teamwork task. Additional in-depth analyses show that teams without any above-average charismatic student performed worst, but that teams with more than one above-average charismatic student struggled with leadership conflicts and solo actions. We interpret our findings as a strong plea for (vocal) charisma analysis to be integrated in higher-education practice both for managing team dynamics and performance and for increasing individual study success.

Abstract:
Abstract: the proposed business didactic game is aimed at developing the creative attitude of the teacher to his own professional activity. The motivational material of a business didactic game allows the teacher to understand that his activity has sometimes elusive pedagogical algorithms and strategies, the totality of which can be called such a concept as an individual methodological style of activity. In addition to pedagogical strategies, this concept reflects the unique psychological qualities of the individual, which allow the teacher to influence the quality of the acquired knowledge. It is also emphasized that the concept of an individual style of activity is the result of the teacher's internal hard work, the result of a long search, value. On this basis, the individual style of activity rejects the concept of "charisma", since it is self-sufficient and does not need to be theatrically announced to any audience. All the value bases of an individual methodological style of activity are aimed not at narcissism, but at helping students in mastering the internal content of a particular academic subject. The leading sign of the formation of an individual methodological style of activity is the ability to correctly combine one's original author's position on the content principles of the taught subject with the guiding and prescriptive lines of the work program. The author's position of the teacher, which combines the emotional and rational components, is also reflected in external behavioral mechanisms. At the same time, expressive forms of behavior are not a mandatory feature of the individual style of methodological activity. A special style of preparing educational material, a list of methods and forms of teaching is structured on the basis of a situational understanding of the subtle mechanisms of teaching, educating and developing schoolchildren
